00:01:45
Speaker
So we're so excited to be here with you guys, and we're so grateful for you tuning in. and but It's going to be a perfect piggyback off of our previous episode just about creating the most ultimate possible treatment room experience. So i'm we're excited to get into it. And it's going to be woo-woo. And I'm so stoked about it because I i myself am quite woo-woo. I think this is also going to be a really good like intro to woo-woo. Intro to woo-woo in the treatment room.
00:02:21
Speaker
Welcome. i I'm woo-woo too, and I i haven't always like owned it or recognized it, so I think the last several years it's been like ah an awakening or a remembering, if you call it. It's always been there. and I've just like never known the power of it until the last few years, so I'm excited to get into it with you guys too.
00:02:41
Speaker
Yay. And a lot of it, I think, is just bringing awareness. I think we, as we go through this episode, you guys are going to realize that you're more woo-woo than you think you are. Because so much of what we're going to talk about today is going to resonate with you. And you're goingnna be like, oh, that's what that is.
00:03:00
Speaker
I am a little woo. I am a little out there. All right. Yeah.
00:03:07
Speaker
So yeah yeah, just so that we don't get too off topic because it's going be really easy to do This is very, very outlined. And i worked hard on this with chat GPT this morning because I wanted to make sure too that we were going to be able to bring you very ah clear outlined action steps, right? So that this isn't just a conversation. we are going to give you ah things that you can do very very tangible advice and action items too so we're really excited about that but if it feels like it's a very bulleted it is and I and we did that for a reason because this conversation can get so out there especially with me if we didn't have an outline I'm sure that at some point in this episode i would start talking about aliens no doubt yeah
00:04:02
Speaker
And tiffany Tiffany knows it's true.

Unseen Energy Impact

00:04:08
Speaker
I'm only semi-joking, but so it is very, very bulleted just so that we can stay very on point, but also make sure that we're giving you extremely tangible action and advice. So yes, love that so much. Okay. You want to get us started? Yeah. let So understanding energy in the treatment room.
00:04:30
Speaker
So energy is the unseen life force. It's thoughts. It's our emotions, our intentions, and they all carry weight, tangible weight.
00:04:42
Speaker
Go ahead. Well, it's um thoughts and emotions are really things. They are really, really things. and There is a physical aspect to our thoughts and our emotions and our intentions.
00:04:56
Speaker
So that's why it says it carries weight because it actually does. Absolutely. You think about like when you're having a rough day and you have something really like it feels heavy. That's why is because it's actually heavy. You're carrying it around. It's hard to shake.
00:05:15
Speaker
um You know, if your mood is just sour and all those things, it's actual physical weight. who Absolutely. And your clients can feel that. So clients subconsciously feel your mood and your presence before you even speak. So one thing that is important to know about energy is that we are energy. So nothing is actually solid. Yeah.
00:05:38
Speaker
Nothing is solid. Everything is vibrating at a rate that makes it seem very solid. And in addition to that, your aura and your soul resides mostly outside of your body. A lot of people don't know that, but we have a physical body, an energy body, and a spiritual body.
00:05:59
Speaker
And so when you're in somebody's presence, whatever that energy is that you're carrying, it is actually projected more outside of you than it is just like trapped inside of you. I think we think that all of our energy is like inside of us, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Energetic and Spiritual Bodies

00:06:16
Speaker
And so that's why...
00:06:17
Speaker
Before we even have a conversation, before there's even any touch involved, your energy speaks volumes because it is being projected outside of you.
00:06:30
Speaker
I have two questions. Number one, Can you dive deeper into the difference between our energetic body and our spiritual body? Yeah. Um, you're more immediate obviously is your physical body, right? And there's a very small amount of energy in here.
00:06:47
Speaker
And then you're, Next one is more just your energy body, and that resides more outside of you. And that consists of literally your feelings, your thoughts, your emotions, um being projected a little bit further out from you.
00:07:03
Speaker
And then much, much, much bigger than you, that is your spiritual body that encompasses both of those things as well. And then everything from the like more unseen realm as well. So, i mean, that's a very...
00:07:18
Speaker
but ah one tangent, you know, that we could definitely go down that road, but that's literally what it looks like. So your body is the frame of your physical body right outside of there. And I don't remember off the top of my head, like actual lengths of how far this being projected, but so you've got your physical right outside of that. It's kind of like a Russian doll.
00:07:40
Speaker
do you know, like one of those and they keep it you smaller and smaller? and Exactly. It's just like that. Ah, okay. I love that. So that actually answered my second question. So your energetic body will call it. So like when, like we talked about in the beginning of the episode, when you walk into a room and you're like walking, it's like, nobody's saying a word, but you can feel the tension.
00:08:06
Speaker
And so that's like your, the energetic body of somebody else that you're walking into and you're picking up on that. You can feel that you don't know what's going on, but you can feel it. That's what that is. oh Yeah, absolutely. And then on the flip side, if you're, you know, walking into a room with somebody who is joyful and happy and uplifted and their energy is like very good and very clear, you can absolutely feel that when you walk into the room too.
00:08:30
Speaker
And that can like elevate your own mood for sure, right? Well, that's what's a like really what this episode is about. You know what I mean? is that, yes, we will very often take that on.
00:08:43
Speaker
And that's either good or it's not good, right? Because when your energy is projected that much outside of you, then whoever is near you, you know, and like vice versa, your energy merges.

Professional Energy Responsibility

00:08:57
Speaker
And again, that's either good or it's bad. Yeah. So when, as professionals, when our clients are walking into our space, even um before we even introduce touch, before we start the treatment, it, our energy absolutely matters because more than likely they're coming from, you know, they're rushing across town to make this appointment. They're, you know, trying to get kids to certain places. They're trying to like set their stuff aside so that they can come and enjoy this service.
00:09:25
Speaker
And so if they, if their energy is a little rushed or a little chaotic or whatever their energy is, if they, if it can match your amazing energy, how cool is that? It's going to be such a ah such a better experience for your client.
00:09:39
Speaker
Absolutely. and that is one thing that this episode, you know, this outline um kind of goes over is that it's ah like, we need to be the ones in charge of our own energy is so important when we're working in this career for, you know,
00:10:00
Speaker
So because we need to be the deciding factor, because like you're saying, people who knows what they're coming from, it's either a hectic day or maybe they're going through something, you know, personal.
00:10:14
Speaker
And so if you're not in charge of your own energy, that energy is going to take over. And that's really what we want to watch out for. so we want to be the leaders of our own energy and for our clients And we want to set the children to protect our energy as well. So it's kind of like multifaceted. It's lots of different components that can lead to that.
00:10:35
Speaker
Oh, I love this so much. Yes. It's so fun to talk about because you, you guys have all felt this, you know, exactly what we're talking about. And we're here today to help you. understand it better, go deeper and help you really manage this.
00:10:49
Speaker
You know, and I think another thing too, that is so important is it's really interesting how if you're in the treatment room all day, or even for me, when I'm out doing trainings and education all day, it is exhausting.
00:11:05
Speaker
And a lot of that is really just energy because it's not as if our physical job that we do is really that tiring. I mean, it's, it's not, but at the end of the day, i think we're all exhausted.
00:11:19
Speaker
It's a drained feeling. It's drained. Yes. But there's things that we can do to help manage that as well. So, yeah. And we'll talk about that. And we'll talk about highlighting like the,
00:11:31
Speaker
the very wonderful energetic aspects of it that does help refill our cup and all that kind of stuff. So your energy is the invisible atmosphere client is walking into. So we already kind of discussed that.
00:11:43
Speaker
So let's talk about the role of your own energy as a provider, your internal state affects how you touch, how you talk and how you move throughout the service, throughout the interaction, throughout everything.
00:11:58
Speaker
It really does. and you know what it makes me think of in our last episode when we talked about leaving your baggage at the door? Um, that's really important. I can think back to when I was in the resort industry, I was also going through a really hard divorce and I remember what that was like.
00:12:20
Speaker
I really did have to learn to leave everything at the door. i was already pretty good about it. but At the same time, it's it's those types of things that we're talking about. When you're really stressed, when you're going through a really hard time in your life, you really want to be able to pick that up and set that aside because it it really does make a huge difference what's going on with your own internal state.
00:12:48
Speaker
And you know as professionals and It's not as if we're not going to be going through really hard and stressful times sometimes because we are and life is still happening.
00:12:59
Speaker
And that is probably, and it might talk about this a little bit later on, but I think that is really the first thing that you have to do is whatever your internal state is or whatever these external things are that are going on in your life that are having that effect on your internal world. As soon as you step foot in the spa or into your treatment room, physically imagine a suitcase full of your stuff and you're leaving it at the door and not bringing it in with you. And that is going to be probably one of the number, number one things to do because um your internal state is how this starts.
00:13:39
Speaker
Yeah. I like to view it as compartmentalizing and getting very good at that. And like physically thinking about everything that you're carrying right now on your, in your head and in your heart.
00:13:50
Speaker
And you're like, okay, we're going into this, this treatment or this, whatever, this conversation with this client and like physically thinking about packing that suitcase with it. And then you're going to imagine physically walking that suitcase out on the other side of the treatment room door.
00:14:04
Speaker
And that's just a great way to start compartmentalizing, if that's like a new idea or a new practice for you, um, and actually carrying out the act in your mind.
00:14:15
Speaker
ah Um, and then that helps, that helps you just kind of start. Absolutely. Yeah. Compartmentalizing is really the number one way to start.

Energy Clearing Techniques

00:14:23
Speaker
I love that. Thank you. So let's see if you're ungrounded, it is going to transfer to your client and we are going to give you action items and tangible ways to ground yourself.
00:14:38
Speaker
We'll also talk about clearing the stress and emotional residue between clients. I think that is equally as important is that as we are transferring people in the treatment room, that we have a way to clear the previous person's energy out of the room. I mean, just imagine at the end of the day, how much energy is built up in your treatment room. Yeah.
00:15:00
Speaker
You know, it's a lot because there's also a lot of emotions that come along with this physical touch and with the work that we do that they're bringing in and probably even releasing. And so we want to have a way that we're able to clear that out and keep that nice and clean.
00:15:16
Speaker
And we are the anchor of our room and our energy sets the tone. So not only do we need to be able to learn how to clear the space from the clients who are coming in, but we then also have to figure out how to clear the space that we just took on from our clients too. It's like not just our personal, but we're picking it up from our clients as well. So it is multiple there's multiple layers that are happening here for sure. Absolutely. Absolutely.
00:15:45
Speaker
So creating a high vibe, relaxing atmosphere. So ways that you can clear energy regularly from your room. um You can practice smudging.
00:15:56
Speaker
Um, I'm excited to talk about this. So smudging actually Jess, I want you to explain it. Okay. i love smudging and I can't remember where, Oh, you know what? I learned this because the house that I lived in before this was really uncomfortable.
00:16:10
Speaker
So i my girlfriend, Stacia, love her so dearly. She taught me how to smudge. ah So when I moved into my new house, just as like a housewarming gift, she brought me some sage and And I needed it desperately anyways.
00:16:25
Speaker
And so I started saging my house a few years ago. um and still in this house, the energy is a lot better, but I still smudge it every now and again.
00:16:38
Speaker
So basically, ah energy gets stuck. places too, especially within spaces. And ha you have to have a way to clear this stock energy out. And I will say it usually ends up in corners.
00:16:54
Speaker
Okay, so just keep that in mind. um When we're smudging, we want to think corners. Now also, When you first start the smudging process, you want to have but and open space. So let's say you're smudging like your house, for instance, you're going to want to have either like a window open or some people will leave their front door open.
00:17:20
Speaker
And we're going to move all of the energy out that direction. Basically, ah the same would go for your treatment room. You do have to be really careful in your treatment room. If you are using sage or Palo Santo, because the fragrance, it can be really intense and some people will do well with that. Some people won't rate, especially if people have asthma, you have to be careful. Like I literally have a cat with asthma. Yeah.
00:17:46
Speaker
I wish I was joking. And so this morning I was actually doing Palo Santo because I, I do it before all of our meetings. I've probably never told you this because, and I didn't do it when you were here because we just sat right down, but I do Palo Santo before every coaching call before every podcast episode, because I need to clear the energy in my office.
00:18:07
Speaker
Yeah. Tell us the difference between Hello Santa real quick and Sage. So if you Google it you're going to find different answers and how it was explained to me and yeah what you decide is what it is. All right. So whatever, whatever you decide, whatever your reality is, because it's really your intention behind it.
00:18:26
Speaker
So how it was introduced to me was that Sage is going to have the ability to clear negative energy And then Palo Santo actually brings in really positive energy. So how I have done it in my homes is I would do my s staging first and I would basically but do, now you can do some circular like clockwise motions or sometimes with staging, you want to maybe go the opposite direction. I'd have to look that up.
00:18:56
Speaker
I basically just wave it and I don't overthink that. And I do doorways and corners more than anything. And so I just kind of go like a waving motion.
00:19:08
Speaker
And then i do it in all of, so sorry, waving motion in the doorway and then in the corners of my home. And then I kind of, you know, move physically. I'm like pushing that towards wherever my open window or open door might be.
00:19:24
Speaker
And I do that throughout my entire house. And then I go back through with Palo Santo. I then close that door or I close that window. And then with Palo Santo that I go in and I do more fast spinning clock. Okay. To kind of like get the energy going, that positive energy you're wanting.
00:19:45
Speaker
Okay. So I'm glad you brought up intention because I think it's important to note before you sage or smudge, excuse me, with sage or Palo Santo It's really important to set your intention as you clear your space.
00:19:59
Speaker
And so I like to say it out loud. it feels really weird. And I like to kind of like repeat the intention over and over or say a prayer out loud as I'm doing it And really just set the intention for why I'm clearing the space.
00:20:13
Speaker
I haven't tried Palo Santo. This is new to me. So I'm really Jessica said she's to bring me some this week. We're seeing each other. And I'm so excited to incorporate that into my smudging practice. um But when I do clear energy with smudging through sage energy.
00:20:28
Speaker
Um, I definitely set the intention and I say that out loud. Yeah. And I also, i love sage candles. I love, you know, Palo Santo candles. I usually have, you know, one of the two in my home at all times to use as needed.
00:20:43
Speaker
So there's multiple ways if you don't have the sage or the Palo Santo candles. You know, no problem. And i I don't necessarily think in our treatment room that we would want to do that on a daily basis either, because again, that scent and the fragrance, it gets to be a lot for some people.

Sound and Energy

00:20:58
Speaker
um And I think you would want to do it just very mild, very quickly to clear a lot of that. And then bring that positive energy back in. um But yeah, you might even just want a candle. Like I think if I were in the treatment room, what I would do is I would just get a candle and I would burn it at the end of the day just for a few minutes to kind of clear that out and then have some sort of like a mental mantra or ritual, you know, like you're saying to clear that energy out at the end of the day.
00:21:29
Speaker
Now for those, um, beauty professionals that say maybe can't light sage or Palo Santo, Santo in their treatment space. Do you think like an essential oil, like sage essential oil, something like that would work too?
00:21:41
Speaker
There are so many different ways. Cause like the next one on the list is just sound. Yeah. You know, I think like prayer would be good. i think sound is really good. So if you're into chimes or tuning forks or singing bowls, you can get many singing bowls.
00:21:59
Speaker
This is something I have not dove too deeply into. I don't know that much about the sound, but I do know when I go to my energy healer, here in the treasure valley if you need a good one her name is trinity and the website is trinity heals me she's changed my whole life and she does so much sound and it's incredible right but people do sound baths and so um and that could be another thing is you just get like a child chimes are nice
00:22:31
Speaker
you Chimes are beautiful. Actually, you know what? I'm going to buy some chimes. Yeah. you know I think before I head your way, I'm going to stop at a store and I'm going to get you some Paulo Santo and ah we're going to get chimes.
00:22:44
Speaker
I love chimes. Chimes are just like a special thing that, um, I don't know. They're just special but when you see them. And, um, but I think you're right. And you know what? You could even, um, play that like on your, your speaker or your Alexa, you can put that on Your, um, I, that's what I do, especially when I'm meditating, I'll put on, um, like, what is it? Metahertz, whatever, whatever comes up and play that, um, playlist.
00:23:12
Speaker
And then it's scientifically proven. to raise our vibration when we're listening to certain sound energy. Yes. i love that. In fact, I have a well, you can do YouTube. I know that's yeah so, so millennial, but I'm a big YouTube.
00:23:32
Speaker
person And so when I'm working, I'm actually listening to sound on um YouTube with my little earphones in. It's amazing. But, you know, I have a couple of apps that I would recommend. And the first one is called Slow Dive.
00:23:47
Speaker
It is a meditation app, but they also, oh man. some of the sounds that they have in there some of the like chanting and stuff is really incredible so that might be a really good thing to just like close your eyes for a few minutes and then over the weekend i actually downloaded another one it's called it i'm just gonna say endel e-n-d-e-l and i've been playing around with those sounds too so i think when it comes to sound there's many different options And then another one is ah when it comes to creating like a high vibe, relaxing atmosphere is just your, your lighting.
00:24:21
Speaker
So warm, soft, and natural, if possible, the last thing we want in our treatment room is harsh lighting.

Enhancing Environment with Senses

00:24:28
Speaker
I can't even imagine. I'm not sure I've ever been in a treatment room that had harsh lighting, but it is so important that you've got like your lamps and some fake candles and anything that you can do to create a very, very,
00:24:42
Speaker
Warm and relaxing, um darkish environment during your treatment makes a huge difference too. Oh, yeah.
00:24:52
Speaker
And then we also touched on aromatherapy, your essential oils, your candles, your scents. lavender, frankincense, lemongrass. Those are all beautiful ones. love peppermint and lavender together. one of my favorites.
00:25:06
Speaker
Yeah. And eucalyptus. And you know what I would recommend as much? So I love diffusers, but actually one way to clear energy between people or at the beginning of your, or end of your day, it goes, it's a combination of the two You can buy Palo Santo sprays.
00:25:26
Speaker
Yeah. You can buy smudging sprays if you need them. Yeah. You know, and just those nice, relaxing, uplifting room sprays, like lemongrass between your treatments, I think would be a fantastic way to lift up that energy again. uh, I think, yeah, those citrusy smells would be really, really nice to, to clear the energy.
00:25:49
Speaker
I think more than anything, however you choose to clear your energy, As long as you're setting the intention, i i think we don't even, can't even comprehend as the simple humans that we are, how powerful we are. yeah We are so powerful.
00:26:05
Speaker
And so by just setting an intention, by just recleaning our space and our own energy and shifting the energy of the room, we are powerful enough to do that on our own. Having these tools um to to accompany that are just kind of elevates it all together.
00:26:24
Speaker
um but you, you're a powerful bean. You, um, you know, you get to set the tone and i just think it's really cool. Yeah, I do love this conversation. And then the next thing i cannot emphasize this enough, keep your space clutter free, beautiful and aligned with your brand.
00:26:46
Speaker
It is interesting. Sometimes I go into treatment rooms and, If they're open, i will say like, we've got to fix this, right? You've got eyesores in here. It's really cluttered in here. In fact, there's like one space that comes to mind to me that when you walk into the retail boutique, um man, back like behind the counter, there is so much clutter.
00:27:13
Speaker
So even though you might not notice it because you might be used to clutter, right? I grew up in clutter and I became really used to it until I lived on my own.
00:27:24
Speaker
And then I knew the difference between clutter and a very, very clear, minimal space. Either way, like your treatment room, you've got other people coming into it that might not...
00:27:37
Speaker
Clutter is energy too. It is just an, it has its own stack frequency that we have to keep cleared out. So I think the more minimalism actually that you have in your treatment room and clutter-free, very clean, the space is sanitized, it is clean. All of that accounts for the energy.
00:27:59
Speaker
Walk into your treatment room as a client. Yeah. And you know, what are you noticing? Lay on your table and look at the ceiling. Is your ceiling even clean? And look around the room. Are you seeing like wax spots or dust? Or, you know, you really want to take the perspective of your client walking in the door or ask a friend like, hey, how are you feeling when you walk in here?
00:28:22
Speaker
So as a rep for me, I am able to walk into a space and be like, we need to talk. We need to have a conversation about this because if you're looking for. and that's only of course, if they're asking me for that type of advice, but you know, like we need to cover this. We need to touch up this paint right here. We've got to clean up this wax mess. We've got to keep this more organized.
00:28:45
Speaker
Um, especially if you have a smaller room, don't be afraid to like get some Tupperware and keep some stuff at home or rent out a cheap, uh, storage unit close to your space so that you aren't keeping a bunch of clutter in your space.
00:29:01
Speaker
Absolutely. That's what I do. i have a storage unit and i actually changed everything on how, because our, our space is so small. And of course you have things that you have to have, but maybe you don't use them all the time. So that's just like a great way. If you don't have the storage space at home, get a storage unit or something like that. They're not expensive. And I think you can use them as a write-off for your business. It's just part of your space. And so find a cheap storage unit that is close to wherever you work so that you can stop by easily or like run over there pretty easily between clients or something if you needed to, but keep that keep the clutter out of your space.
00:29:39
Speaker
Remember, clutter is stuck energy. And one of the easiest ways to clear your energy in the room the room or your space is by decluttering, like deep cleaning, pulling everything out from the cabinets, getting rid of what you're not using or you don't need or putting that in storage.
00:29:55
Speaker
you know, refolding all your linens and your towels. And so they're nice and organized. It really does make ah such a huge difference. It really should be in your schedule to be doing this. If you're a solo esthetician or if you're the salon owner, these things need to be a part of your like daily, weekly, monthly schedule, just like you would have at your house, right? Every Sunday's my cleaning day.
00:30:20
Speaker
And, and then once a month is a little bit more of a deep clean, right? It's the same thing. Like you do not want to be in the middle of your treatment, looking at something that needs to be done, right. Or something that's unorganized or something that's dirty and thinking about that.
00:30:37
Speaker
So it's really for both of you to just make sure that all of that is taken care of. However, you have to do that. Absolutely. Okay.
00:30:50
Speaker
Uh, enhancing client comfort through energy awareness, learning how to read the room. Does the client want silence or conversation? This is such a huge one. i think it is so, so important on learning how to read other people's energy so that as the professional, you can pick up on that and then set the tone for the rest of the service.
00:31:16
Speaker
Yeah. And I think as a professional, you learn that, right? But I think it's also important that you can just um stop and take a deep breath and check in with yourself every now and then.
00:31:30
Speaker
and start to notice the energy that you're getting from the client, right? Like now that we're having this conversation, I think if this is new to you, don't be afraid to just take a deep breath and try to tune in as much as you can okay to start to read other people's energy. Cause sometimes we can feel it. Sometimes we can't, I don't know if that makes sense.
00:31:56
Speaker
It's true. There's some clients where it's just very clear how they want this service to go without even having a conversation. And then there's some clients where it's just a little bit unsure. And maybe this is a new client you've never seen before. And so you you don't know them very well, or maybe just the energy might be a little bit off. So I think it is really important to take a deep breath.
00:32:20
Speaker
to ground yourself, to compartmentalize your own energy so that you have the space to pick up on their energy. And then, um, and then leave with that. Cause really there's nothing worse than going to get a facial or a massage.
00:32:33
Speaker
And the service provider is not picking up on your energy and you just want, you know, to relax and to zone out. I don't like to talk when I'm being touched at all. I don't want to have a conversation. And I think as, because I'm, um,
00:32:49
Speaker
in the position that I am to lead other beauty professionals. A lot of other service providers will want to talk and like gab at me during that service. And so anyways, I don't have a problem saying like, I would like a silent treatment, but I know that not everybody has that, um can be that confident coming into it. And so a lot of people are will just be polite and just you know, kind of talk back at you. So reading your client, reading the energy of the room as is so, so, so important.
00:33:22
Speaker
Yeah. And like we said in the last episode, feel free to give the option of silent services on your intake form. I used to always just go through a very brief description of how the treatment would go. And then I would give them permission and say, so you know what, just go ahead and close your eyes, take a little nap if you want. If you have any questions about, you know, anything that is happening or anything about your skin, feel free to just let me know.

Client Comfort and Communication

00:33:47
Speaker
And so I would always give them permission at the beginning of the service for this to be whatever they wanted it to be. And I think giving them permission to, if like, If you get too hot with that table warmer, let me know. If your back of your head starts to hurt let me know.
00:34:02
Speaker
Just kind of setting that tone in the beginning of the service as well so that they don't feel awkward in speaking up halfway through the service that they are cold or too hot or their back is starting to hurt or whatever it may be.
00:34:15
Speaker
um And then just doing very simple check-ins throughout the service is important too. It doesn't have to be a big conversation. ah You don't have to startle them halfway through the service when they're kind of zoned out. But I think just like being able to come into it with clear energy and making sure that you're here to serve and you're here for that person, no matter what, what is going on in your personal life at the time or what other stuff that you are carrying. And,
00:34:48
Speaker
That's just what we're here. We're here to serve. We're here to give an amazing treatment. We can pick our stuff back up at the door when we're done. It will be there. Promise you and making it just all about whoever is on your table at that time.
00:35:02
Speaker
Definitely. So I also like to use breath cues and calming gestures to help my clients drop in. So when I am first starting a service, i do everything.
00:35:14
Speaker
like to lead them through some deep breaths. And while they're taking deep breaths, I am also taking deep breaths. So one technique that I learned a long time ago is to match my breathing to theirs while we're doing the breath work. So what i do is i bring my hands under. And so maybe I've started the cleanse at this point. Maybe I haven't.
00:35:35
Speaker
Honestly, sometimes when people are very, very scattered, I'll just go right into this. But sometimes, you know, let's say i have started the cleanse and I'll come back up behind the neck and the occipital bone. And I'll find that little divot, that little occipital point. And I'll put my finger in and kind of lift up a little bit and then back.
00:35:55
Speaker
And then I take my other hands on the forehead and I just gently press into it. And then I guide them through taking three deep breaths and sometimes even setting an intention for the service today.
00:36:07
Speaker
And as they're breathing, I'm matching my breathing to theirs. And so not only are they dropping in, but I am dropping in with them and grounding myself with them. That's actually the point where I can feel somebody's energy really well, right? You have some energy when you come into the room,
00:36:25
Speaker
But then we get them on the table. We want them to come down, but we need to come down with them and ground ourselves together. So that's how I have always done that. And, um, you know, but even if you don't have something like that, I think as you're watching their breathing, you can tell when they drop into relaxation. And so that is another cue that you can watch if they're breathing really deep,
00:36:48
Speaker
then maybe you don't want to be talking their ear off. and So look, you know, you can ground yourself with them and, you know, yourself through that breath work, but also just watching their breathing is going to let you know that they've relaxed now.
00:37:03
Speaker
So I like to, and mine is similar. i like to actually lead them in the breathing and actually like tell them that Like with, I place firm pressures on their shoulders. I might do a little bit of rocking and then I'm going to tell them to take a big deep breath in through their nose as I count to four or five and then hold at the top and then come back down. And we kind of do that three or four times.
00:37:28
Speaker
Um, so however you do that, um, I think you want it to be at least 20 seconds. I know that's going to feel like a long time, but what we're doing is we're helping them regulate.
00:37:41
Speaker
We're helping our self regulate, and then we're going to regulate together. And so find your own special way of doing that. You can even look it up. There's probably a million different ideas for doing a little open opening ritual.
00:37:55
Speaker
And then just matching your breathing, your energy with theirs. And if it takes longer than that, it might take longer and that's okay. And being patient in that and like anchoring into that for as long as you need for your client to, like you said, come down, you'll be able to feel it when they do, when you're really good at reading and picking up on energy.
00:38:18
Speaker
And so, and I think it should, um, Like you said, you shouldn't be talking their ear off during this.

Grounding Techniques

00:38:24
Speaker
And I want to point out, this is why it's really, really important to do your skincare consultation before the service starts.
00:38:31
Speaker
To not wait until they're on your table and you're doing your cleanse and you're like, so tell me about your skin. And then you're they're kind of having to talk their way through the first you know part of their cleanse or throughout the double cleanse.
00:38:44
Speaker
And so they're not missing, you're not missing that step. It's a really vital step. That's part of the whole experience of the service. Yeah. And I think that's why consult forms digitally are great if they'll do that. And then it might be wise to have them every single time just arrive, you know, five to 10 minutes early if they can and make sure that you're booked out that way so that you can go through the digital consult verbally with them so that you can drop into that time
00:39:17
Speaker
faster to those grounding techniques faster. Now, even if you're not dropping into the grounding technique, like if you're still kind of having conversation and your schedule is a little bit tight, I still would to get there. Okay. I still, you know, even if your cleanse is over and you talked through the whole thing, that's okay. I would do it then, but I would say best case scenario is you've already had that consult.
00:39:41
Speaker
Yeah, absolutely. And I think too, it's important that we create and build our schedules. So we have a little bit of extra time. so we're not rushed. And because that energy is going to transfer to the service to when we're back to back, when we're running late and when we're rushed, and then that client is going to feel a little bit bad because we did not manage our time and well.
00:40:03
Speaker
And we don't want to transfer that, that energy to our clients either, because they're a paying client. They are here to receive an amazing service and treatment. And we don't, we don't even, I absolutely don't want my clients to feel like they're rushed. Even if I am rushed. Okay. Even if I am behind, I don't want them to know that. And I want them to get their full experience, the full time that's booked, all of the things.
00:40:27
Speaker
Yeah. You kind of have to hide that a little bit, you know, like they're already probably going to feel it. But if you can outwardly start to project calm, right, ah you'll feel calm and then they'll pick up on that too. So even if things get crazy, because but and they definitely do, it always happens.
00:40:49
Speaker
Pretend like it isn't and verbalize like it isn't. And then it won't be. And they're going to pick up on that too. And then everything is going to be fine. Yeah. Like if you walk into the treatment room and be like, my gosh, it's been such a crazy day. And then running so behind and I'm so sad.
00:41:05
Speaker
And then that's just going to transfer. Right. And unless we take a big deep breath, ground ourselves before we walk into that room, they're in there waiting for us. And we just kind of pick up like, you're not rushed.
00:41:17
Speaker
And you just make it all about them. You don't make it about you. I think when we come into it, making it about us, that is like an energy suck for our clients. And we're just adding more negative energy onto our already heavy shoulders.
00:41:30
Speaker
But when we can really transfer that and just make it about your client and mirror them wherever they're at. and Yeah, it matters. Yeah, it definitely matters.
00:41:42
Speaker
Okay. Approach each touch and movement with intention and a warm greeting, grounded body language and slow movement set the tone for safety.
00:41:53
Speaker
So that's on you and checking in with yourself and just making sure that you're very intentionally touching people. Um, because the power of touch is a very, very sacred energy exchange. It is a transmission, not just a technique.
00:42:10
Speaker
That's kind of a mic drop moment. It's one thing to put product on people and take it off. hmm. That's not a good treatment. That's not going to bond.
00:42:21
Speaker
It's not going to connect. People are not going to be thrilled to come back to you, you know, and be excited to send all their friends and family and all of that because it just felt more transactional, like put the product on and take it off.
00:42:35
Speaker
The difference in an amazing esthetician and amazing beauty professional is somebody who's very thoughtful and intentional with their touch and understands that it is an energy transmission. it is not just a simple technique and transaction. so ah a really mindful touch communicates calm, care, or chaos. Yeah.
00:42:59
Speaker
if you're not careful, going to feel chaotic, but if you're intentional, it's going to feel very calming and very caring. Yeah. And, um, your touch elicits trust oh yeah and we're everything that we're doing, we're wanting to build trust with our clients and we'll, it even goes as far as waxing. I think it's That's even a step further than just offering facials when you're offering Brazilian waxing or sugaring or something like that, because that's even a a deeper intimate level that you get on with your clients. And so, um, approaching each touch and movement with intention, making sure that you're covering her up as you, every time you step away from the client and like respecting her, her privacy, even though when you say get a Brazilian,
00:43:46
Speaker
you know, you're going to see everything. And she knows that, but coming in with like this, this sense and this energy of respecting her body, respecting her privacy, respecting her vulnerability, not like leaving her like stark naked on the table as you're going to put your gloves on or as you're doing this or whatever it is, I think matters so very much.
00:44:07
Speaker
And so i just wanted to throw that in there that it does matter. Everything we do everything do, approach with our clients is fostering trust.
00:44:19
Speaker
Yes, most definitely. So when we're grounded, our touch stabilizes. When we are open hearted, our touch nurtures.
00:44:31
Speaker
When we are present, our touch invites stillness. When we're unregulated, your touch can feel chaotic and even unsafe. And clients are deeply receptive. Your touch can shift their entire nervous system. And that's why your energetic hygiene matters so much.
00:44:51
Speaker
Absolutely. Especially for our clients that are more empathetic and um are more susceptible, I think, to, to what is it? To...
00:45:04
Speaker
carrying other people's energy, it really does matter. That's actually really beautiful. Your clients are deeply receptive. Your touch can shift their nervous system. And that's why your energetic hygiene matters so much.
00:45:17
Speaker
So really that circles back to you and where your energy is at, how you are processing your energy. I think that's something that matters as well, that we're allowing energy to flow through us, especially the hard, heavy stuff that life throws at us and not just shoving it deep down and hoping it will go away. Which Jess and I are laughing because we've where're we've been there and it comes up for us a lot. And that's something that I i think will probably my whole life um navigate through because that's my
00:45:53
Speaker
that's my go-to system is to shove it down hope it goes away. And then it always comes back up. Yeah. Yeah. It's true. Like my anxiety problem is not anxiety at all. I just don't have the ability to process emotions very well. I was talking to Tiffany about that last week. So the better, and then, you know, it's like, it gets trapped in your body. It gets trapped in your nervous system. Cause that's what emotions are. You have to process through them. So I think that,
00:46:19
Speaker
learning more about that is really important too. So that the more regulated and calm and grounded we are, the more our clients are going to be as well.
00:46:32
Speaker
Absolutely. Okay. Groundy techniques before and after clients. So feet to floor, breathe and connect to the ground.
00:46:43
Speaker
Yeah, this is a fun one. And it's quick and easy. You don't have to do anything crazy to make this happen. You are just paying attention to your feet on the ground and taking some deep breaths.
00:46:55
Speaker
One of my favorite and easiest and breathing techniques. Well, there's really two of them, but my first one is when you're breathing in, count the seconds and just make sure that you're breathing out properly.
00:47:08
Speaker
longer than that. So if you breathe in for four beats, try to breathe out for eight breath eight beats, if not longer than that, because the way that your diaphragm, as you're pushing out as much breath as possible, it actually pushes against your vagus nerve.
00:47:26
Speaker
And that is when we can kick in our parasympathetic nervous system to just calm the heck down. And so that's kind of my go-to breathing technique. And I'll just do that a few times. And then I literally feel completely different.
00:47:39
Speaker
Another one is when you're taking a deep breath, pause, take another deep breath. Does that make sense? So you're like, yeah. So your lungs are full and then even more after you pause. So take that deep breath.
00:47:58
Speaker
Yeah. And then I slow exhale. And that's how you really get your lungs up to full capacity. um we're not using our full lung capacity. And so that type of breathing I learned from, I think Andrew Huberman maybe, and it makes a huge difference because when we get really rushed and chaotic, I know when I have anxiety, I don't breathe deep at all.
00:48:22
Speaker
And then yeah I'm like, oh my gosh, I'm not breathing. And then you're kind of freaking out more. And once you just can learn to every once in a while, take some deep breaths that way. So you get to full, full, full lung capacity. And then you slowly exhale.
00:48:35
Speaker
It feels phenomenal. And it raises your vibe. It raises your your physical energy. energy as well. So your physical and mental and emotional energy, it just takes it to another level. So when you are focused on your feet on the floor and you just close your eyes and take some deep breaths, it's one of the quickest ways in ways to ground yourself.
00:49:00
Speaker
And as you're exhaling feet to floor, for sure, you want to be you want to be grounded. That's literally being grounded to floor. But as you're exhaling, another technique that I was taught is and when you like exhale and blow out is to like physically.
00:49:16
Speaker
Even add like your voice to that. And it's going to sound kind of silly, but you're just like, or however you need to do that to release like that there, it releases some extra tension that you're holding in your body that you didn't even know. So add your voice to your exhale, if that makes sense.
00:49:33
Speaker
And it's going to sound animalistic. It's going to sound Um, I don't know, it's going to sound weird, but it really does help. So I liked that too. Yeah, it definitely does. So very, very intentional breath work, long, slow exhales to reset and then visual grounding. So one technique that I've always used, I use this when i and Working with people, i do it in meditation in the morning. I do it when I'm out in nature sitting with a tree.
00:50:02
Speaker
I visualize roots growing from my feet or from my tailbone, depending if I'm sitting or standing. And that is such an amazing technique that feels just absolutely incredible.

Crystals and Energy Balance

00:50:15
Speaker
use that one too. Yeah. You can also use crystals. So I'm a big crystal girl. I love them. Um, black tourmaline and obsidian, ah hematite smoky quartz. Any of those dark, dark, dark ones are very, very good for keeping you grounded, whether or not you have like a bracelet or you put it in your pocket um,
00:50:37
Speaker
you know, however that looks. Sometimes you can even place them around the room if you need to. Like I keep them in my windows, in my house, and you know, crystals. You can also do a lot of um ah shows what is the, there's one I'll have to think of that you put on your door frame. Oh, it's a, you gave me one.
00:51:05
Speaker
It's the white one. So common. and It's the white one. I always, when I go to the courts, no, I know it's not. I always forget it. Yeah, i do too. I'll look it up while you keep going.
00:51:17
Speaker
Okay. um crystals are a huge form of energy and this is how I learned how energetic they are. So every year our family goes to crystal park in Montana and it's just a big mountain and we dig for crystals.
00:51:32
Speaker
And literally we come home. i know you're going to have to come one of these times. Sounds amazing. We get dirty. We like track up the mountain and we literally come home with buckets of crystals. Some are like big, some are a lot of them are little. They are beautiful. And the big ones that we find, we always lose and not lose.
00:51:53
Speaker
They, I, so I swear to you on my life, lose. like disappear, they like find a way to, to move. And i didn't occur to me until last year, Thomas found this really beautiful one. And it was like a sphere at the top. And then it had this long stem and it was bright purple.
00:52:12
Speaker
And it was like the find of the day. We call them our OMGers. And, um, and then he was packing it around for like several weeks. And then I was like afraid he was going to lose it. And so i snatched it and set it up on the windowsill.
00:52:27
Speaker
And then it like disappeared and like nobody in the house took it. It's just like a weird, it's woo woo, but it's happened before to some of my favorite crystals. I have a hard time hanging onto them because they are energy and they move and it's so weird. But, and then I, we haven't found that one of Thomas's yet, but I'm sure it's somewhere, but I've lost some crystals before that were my favorite. And then I'll find them like months later or like a year later and like a random weird spot.
00:52:57
Speaker
And it, they always come back in like a time where I like really kind of needed it. Does that make sense? It's just very weird, but that's kind of how I connected crystal energy with how powerful it is. And then really started using it. Um,
00:53:11
Speaker
in my meditation practices. i have some in the treatment room. um Sometimes I will incorporate them in a treatment. I'll just bring that we have them on the shelf, but I'll bring them over and set them on like my workstation around the products.
00:53:26
Speaker
And then I always like, if I'm incorporating crystals into the treatment itself, I'll always silently like ask for permission from the client just to make sure that we're not imposing on her her spiritual energy. And it's just like a silent little prayer. And I will typically no one way or the other, if it's a yes or no.
00:53:52
Speaker
yeah And that's just like another level of energy that you kind of get to when you really practice intentional energy work. h I have orange calcite right here. It's for creativity. Ooh, I like that.
00:54:07
Speaker
Crystals are a more solid form of energy. And so when we're feeling really out of balance or if we're just wanting to bring in a certain type of energy and sometimes even release a certain type of energy, that's where crystals can come into play and just help us balance out our energy because they're just so solid and so high vibe and we are not.
00:54:28
Speaker
It's a different energetic frequency. Yeah. So i do do really, really love crystals and the use of crystals. And the one that we were talking about is selenite. Selenite, yeah. Yeah, so I just put little, i have them in all of my doorways in my house, just little ones. And it basically just keeps energy very clear. Mm-hmm.
00:54:50
Speaker
So mantras are going to be really helpful to just like Tiffany was saying in the very beginning, if you have some mantras to say out loud, I am present, i am grounded, i am clear, you know, my space is clear, my space is safe, my space is calm.
00:55:06
Speaker
I am safe. I am calm. However, you need to come up with some really good mantras to say between your clients, before your clients, after your clients, whatever works best for you. and yeah, so those are some really amazing grounding techniques for you before and after.
00:55:23
Speaker
Can I add one that's not on the list? Prayer is a big one. yeah If prayer is part of your spiritual practices, prayer is energy. And that's something that I like to do before ah service with a client um to help ground myself, to help bring my energy into focus and to really, um and I'll like pray for my client too.
00:55:46
Speaker
And, or after say your client comes in and maybe is going through something really personal and you picked up on her energy And X, Y, z I will say a silent prayer for her like after or before I go to bed or just kind of sending her love and sending her energy to help get through whatever it is she's going

Energy Between Clients

00:56:07
Speaker
through. So prayer is really a big one too. And that's not for everyone. And we definitely respect and understand that. But if it is something that you utilize in your personal life, bring it into your practice. It will help
00:56:20
Speaker
Mm-hmm. I love that. Thank you so much for sharing. Prayer, I think, is the most powerful tool we have for anything and everything. So clearing energy between clients. Shake.
00:56:32
Speaker
Shake it off, baby. I am telling you what just shaking, shake your hands. Shake your whole body if you need to. We can burn the Palo Santo or the sage if permitted. Or like I was saying earlier, I think having an essential oil spray or Palo Santo spray.
00:56:50
Speaker
There's so many different options. We can use, again, a chime, a bell, as sound. and Yeah, it says right here, room spray to refresh the space.
00:57:01
Speaker
And then mentally or verbally release the last session and call in new intentions. So we want to energetically create a separation there. And again, it's just bringing intention to it You can say it in your head. You can say it out loud, however that works for you. But I think just remember, we are so powerful of bringing intention to clearing out this space, bringing a new energy, you know, moving forward.
00:57:25
Speaker
um i we really challenge you guys to try it and we're excited to hear how it elevates your your own feelings and your own energy, your clients, how they respond to it. Um, cause it does make a difference. Definitely.
00:57:42
Speaker
So protecting our own energy and avoiding burnout, you know, we were talking about this a little bit earlier. It's really easy to just get absolutely exhausted at the end of your day or at the end of your week.
00:57:53
Speaker
Um, So protecting your energy, the easiest way to do this is to visualize a light barrier around you to filter energy. So it's very much, our imaginations are very real in my opinion.
00:58:07
Speaker
And so if you can, before your before you start your day or maybe even between your clients or maybe when you first, before you go to put your hands on your clients, visualize a light barrier around you that will filter energy.
00:58:23
Speaker
I love that. Especially while you're grounding, right. And taking some deep breaths, uh, because basically that's going to all not just set energy boundaries, but it's going to set your emotional boundaries for not being a sponge.
00:58:40
Speaker
Absolutely. And we are light, like we are creatures of light and that's a whole nother probably conversation. but I think it intentionally imagining that.
00:58:53
Speaker
I actually have never tried that, but it would probably brighten your own light energetically. And so again, it's just going to protect your energy. It's going to help filter out your client's energy and it's going to brighten or raise your vibration.
00:59:08
Speaker
Absolutely. And then starting and ending your day with these grounding rituals. So there's many things that we have mentioned. There's so many different ideas and it's going to take you some time to figure out which ones work best for you. a lot of you probably already have some of these, but we do want to be really intentional ah with the discipline with this is really where my mind is going with this point is making sure that we're actually doing it and following through on that is what makes the biggest difference ever. And it should really be one of the most important parts of your day.
00:59:44
Speaker
Do you recommend doing this before you leave your treatment room space for the day on your drive home? and I mean, I definitely think it's important to do it before you like walk in your door at home, right? Or before you pick your kids up from school or before you go on to your next personal, whatever that is.
01:00:05
Speaker
I would say probably whatever works best for you. If you have a long commute, it might be nice to do it like as you get in your car or it might be nice to do it after you leave your treatment room. So I think, yeah, it's probably individual for everybody what feels and works best for them.
01:00:24
Speaker
Yeah. Use salt baths, walks in nature or breath work to reset. Um, However, you have to do that a lot of times too. So while I do think that salt baths are amazing, i and i don't take baths very often. Sometimes when I'm taking a shower, either in the morning or if I'm showering at night, I actually visualize that water cleaning energy yeah and ah like cleaning that off of me. And again, it's your intention that matters. And so if that's what you're visualizing, you're going to really feel that happening. And then I'm a big tree person.
01:01:06
Speaker
There's just something to be said about touching and breathing with trees, or i actually am a huge tree hugger. I hug so many trees. I purposely go on hikes at dusk so that nobody's around so that I can just freely hug my trees and take so many deep breaths and imagine, you know, myself being very rooted with that tree. And that's what resets me every single week or if midweek,
01:01:37
Speaker
I'm feeling really frantic, then i will go to the trees if I need to, or i will just go into my yard and take my shoes off and do a grounding technique. Then like, I remember when I came home from that busy trip in Utah the week before last week,
01:01:54
Speaker
i I had just gotten out of my car and I had Amazon packages to go pick up from my front door. And so I pulled into the garage and then i was like, well, before I, you know, walk into the house and then I've got the kittens and then I start to unpack and do that whole thing.
01:02:11
Speaker
I walked to, and my feet were hurting. So I had taken off my shoes and I intentionally stepped onto the grass and And just sat there and took some deep breaths.
01:02:23
Speaker
And it I was like, yes, this feels incredible after being on the go and crazy and, you know, working with hundreds of people and then my long drives and like, you know, all that stuff that we pick up. And then as soon as you can put your feet in the grass or put your feet in the dirt and take some deep breaths, it just...
01:02:43
Speaker
Oh my gosh, everything shifts and it is one of the best feelings and ever. So anything like that, that you can do that you need to do that you know, helps clear that energy. we want to make that a part of your life really as often as possible.
01:02:59
Speaker
I think you can also use your animals if you have animals yeah to help clear energy as well. I think animals were designed to absorb our energy. I think they can, that's like one of their special gifts. And so if that is something that, um you know, I use Ruby, we have a white lab and I use her all the time and she just like soaks it all up and I'm able to transfer that and it just shifts the mood.
01:03:22
Speaker
who So however that looks for you, you can find different ways. you can even use several different practices, depending on what your day like. I think so too. You should have many tools in your tool belt, right? Because you're not always going to be able to run away to the trees or maybe, you know, you don't, your animal's not around or you know, whatever that looks like. We want to have many different ways that we know clears our energy when we need it.
01:03:49
Speaker
Absolutely. Yeah. I'm wearing protective stones. I kind of mentioned that earlier. So if you have bracelets, if you, you know, I used to wear them in my bra during training. like i yeah Yeah. Just, I had very intentional ones that I needed, and before I was where, before I got bracelets, but you know, whatever you have to do to have those stones on you, to be honest, it makes massive difference. I remember When I was better at wearing mine, Obsidian has made the biggest difference for me.
01:04:24
Speaker
It basically just absorbs the energy so that I don't, you know, when I'm working with... Anyone, one yeah one person to a hundred people. As long as I have obsidian on me, I'm not walking away from those meetings, that that training with a whole bunch of energy that I've latched onto or that's just latched onto me. So it's crazy how big of a difference it actually does make.
01:04:51
Speaker
Yes. And I want to add, if you are a big stones girl or a big crystal girl, ah making sure that you're cleansing your stones as well. You want to use a light to cleanse your stones so you can put them in the window seal so they can absorb the sunlight or the moonlight, something like that.
01:05:09
Speaker
um de Because again, the stones are energy and they're absorbing the energy. So we want to cleanse the stones. I sage stones. yeah Okay. That's a great idea too. Yeah. So you can sage them.
01:05:22
Speaker
You can put them in the grass if you need to I used to even, when I just lived in an apartment, not just, I loved my apartments actually more than my houses, but I used to put my stones in rice and put them in a dark cabinet and then throw the rice out.
01:05:38
Speaker
That was actually one of the more powerful things that I used to do. And then I would, during a full moon, just make sure that I put that out, put out some like moon water. Yeah.
01:05:50
Speaker
Oh

Energy and Brand Experience

01:05:51
Speaker
man. Energy so fun. I love the energy is fun. So yeah, I'm with your crystals. I do think that that's really important, especially if they are the ones that you are wearing for sure. It's even more important to keep those clean and charged.
01:06:06
Speaker
So ah why does this matter? especially in our industry. or Yeah. Especially in our industry, clients will forget the things that you said very often. i promise they do. Um, unfortunately, but they will always remember how you made them feel always. Yeah. They're going to remember the energetic experience, sometimes even more than the, you know, physical and logical experience that they had.
01:06:35
Speaker
They're going to remember if you were present or not, and they're going to feel if you're present or not. And like you said, it's so much more than just applying products to the base and taking them off. It's an energetic transfer.
01:06:47
Speaker
And that's really, I think what can set you apart as a professional is if you can elevate how you make your clients feel in every aspect. It's not just the touch aspect. It's about how you're communicating before the appointment, as they walk in the door during the treatment itself, after the treatment, checking them out, you know,
01:07:09
Speaker
going through the financial transaction of the the treatment, your follow-ups, really everything, how you show up on social media and what they're absorbing from you there. It really is how you make them feel. And it's everything. It's not just the treatment itself because you can give them a really amazing treatment.
01:07:28
Speaker
But if everything else is lacking or you're not showing up, in this day at the same vibe at that same energy level that you do in the treatment itself and everything else that you do, then that's going to matter too. So it really is what sets you apart and what keeps them coming back.
01:07:45
Speaker
Mm Yeah, definitely. Your energy becomes part of your brand experience, right? they You really do become the person that they look forward to seeing for multiple reasons, not just, you know, because they're struggling with their skin, but because they're ready to feel your presence. They're ready to be in a space that makes them feel very, very good, including your social media. I'm really glad that you brought that up. So it's, it's all of it. It's all of your communication. It's all of your treatment. It's, it really is the whole thing and your energy is a part of your brand.
01:08:19
Speaker
So make sure you're a high vibe. Okay. Yeah. And be intentional about it. And we have to, i think, but reel ourselves in every you now and then and stay really aware of it. And i think that's a big part of the intention is just kind of, I don't know how else to say it, but reel yourself back in every now and then.
01:08:41
Speaker
Yep. Check yourself. Yeah, there you go. Oh, being energetically intentional builds client loyalty and longevity. Okay. All that goes hand in hand. And when you care for your own energy, you're able to give from overflow, not from depletion. That's an important factor.
01:09:01
Speaker
Yeah. It's it's everything extra that we build in our reserves that we're able to really give freely without attachment. if that makes sense. And, um, and then our clients can, and really, if you think about it, it's kind of like a ah domino effect. It's how not only we're making our clients feel, but then they can go home and give to their family and, or give to their coworkers or give to their business or, and then it's just like a domino, domino trickle effect that is truly like felt around the world because that just, it's like a butterfly effect maybe. Yeah.
01:09:38
Speaker
Maybe that's a better way of saying it. So it really does start with you and it starts with everything you do. And then if you can think about it as being so much bigger than you and really like truly you're raising the vibration of the planet by the facial that you get or by the wax that you get or by the consultation or whatever it is. Right.
01:10:00
Speaker
that you're really like affecting everything around the planet. And it's just so very cool and so very powerful and so really, really special that you have the power to do that. Yes.
01:10:11
Speaker
I love that. That was so, so, so powerful. I couldn't agree more. I'm reading a book about that right now. And you're really, really spot on. Everything that we do matters. All the energy that we put out, it adds up in a huge way. And so we really do want to be the change.
01:10:31
Speaker
That we wish to see. We're leaders. um And I think when we own that energy and you say it out loud, and then you accept that colleague, everything changes in how you run your business or how you run your practice, because it does become so much bigger

01:16:01
Speaker
And I do it on those podcasts too. It's conversations that we have. i'm ah But I do have a retail sales masterclass that's quite all encompassing though. It is so much more than just retail sales.
01:16:13
Speaker
and it's kind of blown up recently. I'm not exactly sure why, but I'm very grateful. I don't charge that much for it though. It's only $150. It's about three, sometimes even three and a half hours, especially if I'm doing it one-on-one.
01:16:26
Speaker
And um I feel like I could charge three times that price. that is The value is definitely there, but kind of like Tiffany, I just want this information to be out there, but I do also want to get paid for my time too. yeah.
01:16:40
Speaker
but You know, so we both do have those. and And then, of course, we do love our our coaching program and our mastermind. And we're just really, honestly, every single day, i give gratitude for being in a position of influence, especially in our industry right now.
01:16:57
Speaker
