00:01:00
Speaker
and kind of just giving you a recap on my year last year and hopefully setting the trajectory for the year ahead 2025.

Reflection & Intentionality in 2024

00:01:13
Speaker
We are mid January right now as I'm recording this and I'm not going to lie, I have had a slow start to getting clear on my goals for the year and really like launching into them, if that makes sense. I know what my goals are and I have a clear vision for them, but I have had this like very slow start. And now that I'm saying this out loud, I think I'm trying to be very, very intentional about it. And so I don't think it's a bad thing, but generally I'm like pretty quick, you know, shoot out of the gun first thing out the year.
00:01:54
Speaker
and just go head first into the new year ahead. And this year has been a little bit of different and I think I've spent extra time with my

Journey as an Esthetician

00:02:07
Speaker
reflections.
00:02:07
Speaker
looking at my wins from the year before and what goals did I achieve? um Did I achieve everything that I really wanted to? um And so I think I've just leaned into the reflection part more than I normally do, which has been really eye-opening and I think really necessary. And so I'm being intentional with my vision and I'm being leaning into the reflection part of 2024. So a little bit about me, if you're new here, or maybe if you don't really know, I am a licensed esthetician. I have a skincare business that I built from the ground up. We are going into our 13th year of business. um So lots of lessons along the way, lots of trial and error, lots of successes, lots of,
00:03:03
Speaker
two steps forward or one step forward, two steps back.

From Solo to Team Growth

00:03:06
Speaker
um Lots, just lots of learning and um it's really fun and it's been really challenging and you know, I've learned a lot and so um we're thriving, we're still growing and I'm excited to see what the future holds for us as a team. I started as a solo esthetician. My first I want to say six years of business and then I added to my team and I've just been growing my team ever since and growing our service menu and really perfecting our policies and our systems, putting systems into place that weren't there, that generally weren't even recognizable as a solo esthetician, definitely needed.
00:03:56
Speaker
but I didn't really see the holes in my business until I started adding to my team. um And so in a way, I've kind of always done things like jump in and I'll figure it out along the way. That's how I kind of roll, kind of what fly by the seat of my pants.

Educating Estheticians: Sweet Cheeks University

00:04:12
Speaker
As we've grown though, um while that has served me in the past and has served me in a lot of areas of my life, the goals that I have for this business to get to where I'm going, I've really had to slow down And um like I said, perfect our practices, put policies and systems into place that were not there, pay attention to my numbers, actually look at my numbers, understand where the money was going, where it was coming from, where it was going, where it needed to go. So lots of lessons throughout all of that has been really great. And then the last couple of years, I really dove into the education side of things. So um along with Jessica, I offer
00:04:57
Speaker
coaching and mentoring to other estheticians and media professionals. And I have grown Sweet Cheeks University, which is a resource of continuing education for eighty professionals and estheticians specifically. And that has been that's like where my passion is right now and where it continues to be. And I'm still growing that side of things. I have a brazil Brazilian wax masterclass online course. Brazilian waxing is my ultimate passion in aesthetics. Um, if you know me at all, or if you follow me on social media, then you know that I have a deep, deep passion for intimate waxing because of the power that being able to offer a really amazing service and being really good at that skill set.
00:05:45
Speaker
And having a really safe environment for women to come get that very vulnerable service is so incredibly powerful and so life changing. I've seen it change the lives of women that I serve. I've seen it change the lives of estheticians when they are really taught how to do that.
00:06:07
Speaker
that level of expertise, that service really well and how it can really elevate their practice. And it's it's something that's special. It's special. It's not something that's taught in school well, if at all. And it leaves a lot of estheticians just trying to navigate in the dark and figure it out along the way. And that was my experience when I went to aesthetic school and came out of esthetician school.
00:06:31
Speaker
And I had to really figure it out along the way and it took me years. And so that's where my passion lies for Brazilian boxing and coaching in general. And so um we'll get into that with my reflections that I'm going to dive into with you guys here now and um how that's kind of

Achieving 2024 Goals

00:06:49
Speaker
transpired. So if I look at 2024 as a whole, it was a beautiful year. And, you know, I really don't have,
00:06:57
Speaker
anything where it was just like, oh, that was such a hard year. There was definitely hard things within the year. um I wrote down as I was preparing for this Reflections episode, I wrote down all the goals that I had for 2024.
00:07:12
Speaker
And I realized that I actually accomplished every single goal that I had for last year. And so I'm going to list them off for you so that you can kind of see an inside peek because I try my best to be as transparent as possible. So here is like my list of goals that I had for 2024. Um, bring in a nurse injector into my business, uh, prioritize my health, take a vacation with my kids, grow my team,
00:07:39
Speaker
and become a really good and strong leader, minimize my credit card debt, launch a podcast, co-create was a big one, a big goal for me, sell my e-course, and create profit within my business.
00:07:56
Speaker
And on my paper right in front of me, I have a check mark next to each and every one of those. Now, I will say these goals didn't come how I expected them to come. They did not come in this order. They did not come seamlessly and perfectly. um It was a messy, ruddy, muddy road to get to each of them. Some of them were a surprise.
00:08:20
Speaker
um but it's actually like really amazing that I can look back and say, I actually accomplished all of my big goals. Um, and a lot of them were really, really hard. Prioritizing my health was a hard one. Um, that was something that showed up some health stuff showed up for me the end of 2023 that I did not expect. And so going into 2024 early last year, I was really determined to, um, have a better understanding of where I was at health wise and, um,
00:08:51
Speaker
It definitely took me the better part of the year to really get there. And I'm still trying to understand it, but that was a big one for me. And so it's interesting though, some of these goals on here, I did accomplish them. They were definitely a big goal of mine. And some of them, couple of them we'll get into, um didn't go like I expected. And I released that goal right back out into the universe very quickly. So we'll get into that.
00:09:21
Speaker
So some things I would have done

Trusting Intuition & Asking for Help

00:09:24
Speaker
differently though. Now that I have some perspective on the other side of 2024, one thing I would have done differently, I really, really wished I would have trusted my own intuition. So my word of the year, I choose a word at beginning of a year that I hold on to and lean into hard. So for 2024, my word of the year was trust. Trust is a hard thing for me. I think with some how I was raised, definitely some childhood trauma,
00:09:51
Speaker
Trust has just always been a hard, hard thing for me to fully lean into um and just let go of and surrender myself into. And so it's no surprise and that trust being my 2024 word of the year that I had some trust things present themselves for me to really probably test and see if I really was leaning into that word of the year or not. And so some things transpired that I really wished I would have trusted my own intuition from the get-go. I do have a very strong intuition and um
00:10:31
Speaker
I think we can all, when we're all really quiet and we disconnect and we're very centered, we can definitely lean into our own intuition and heed it's, it's calling or warning or however you want to word it. Um, and sometimes we don't and you know, it, however things transpire, it's just like, oh, I really, you know, saw that one coming, should have trusted my gut.

The Role of Communication

00:10:59
Speaker
Um,
00:11:01
Speaker
Another thing I wish I would have spoken out about my struggles and asked for help. That's another hard thing for me is I think being like the oldest of my family and just being very independent all of my life, I have just learned to do things by myself and um lean on myself because you know you are your own trusted person at the end of the day.
00:11:27
Speaker
um I think though it's really hard to get to when you're trying to grow and you're trying to have, you have all these balls in the air and your, this business owner and your say a mom, like I am and a wife and you've got two businesses running now and you've got all of these projects and all of these things you want to accomplish. Like at the end of the day, you're just one person and, um, you know, to really maybe exceed to the next level.
00:11:58
Speaker
You do have to sometimes delegate. You do have to offload some tasks. You do need to ask for help. And so that's one thing that I'm still working on. I've gotten so much better about it, though. The last year or two is just offloading my plate, seeing where my zone of genius is and where my time is better spent to actually move the wheel for my business or to actually create profit for my business instead of doing menial tasks that can be offloaded or delegated to somebody else um and just create that space for myself. um I wish I would have utilized my coach. I have a personal coach that I've been working with for going on two years now. It'll be two years in May.
00:12:45
Speaker
I don't always utilize her like I should, even though I think I like have to get in this crisis mode to feel like I need to reach out to her. And again, it kind of goes back to that beginning part of asking for help when I need it. and So I'm really working on that as well. um I really wish I would have let my husband into my business sooner. So in this again, kind of points back to that doing things my way and leaning on myself and not asking for help.
00:13:15
Speaker
So a couple of things popped up in 2024, financial things in my business. And, um you know, when i when I communicated those things to him, he was like, why haven't you told me sooner? And I didn't really have a great answer to that. I think there's like this level of shame around, you know, when things go wrong.
00:13:37
Speaker
and feeling like I failed and it kind of goes back to those old habits that really were not serving me anymore. Those old habits of just leaning on myself and figuring it out as I go weren't serving me anymore. And I wasn't, I got myself in a predicament where I really did need help. And then just realizing like communication is also a big one for me. That is hard. And so by like communicating my struggles just by letting them out and releasing them from like my chest that I hold on to is so beneficial. And then pretty miraculously, you know, a solution pops up just by communicating, just by sharing, just by letting somebody in, um, especially my husband. And so, um,
00:14:29
Speaker
that was something that was really eyeopening. Even though it's like saying it out loud right now, you would think I would already know that, right? Because there's like other areas in my life, like our marriage where we just communicate and we can tackle the problem together. But when it comes to my business, I've always, I think because I built it from the ground up, because again, I've been so independent on my life. I've just, it's just kind of been my baby and my baby alone. And so as this business has grown and flourished and excelled and kind of gotten out of, not out of hand, but just gotten past my my ability to really understand and um keep the reins going in some areas. and Having those conversations, letting those people in and asking for help,
00:15:21
Speaker
is was huge and that wasn't something I realized until this last year.

Imposter Syndrome & Adaptability

00:15:26
Speaker
um Another thing I wish I would have done differently, I really wish I would have found the courage to put myself out there and make myself seen. That's something that, again, I struggle with. um I really struggle with imposter syndrome, especially when it comes to Sweet Cheeks University. And I think in some ways, Jessica kind of touched on this with me last week.
00:15:48
Speaker
imposter syndrome isn't always a bad thing and I don't always view it as a bad thing. I think it's a good reminder that it serves me and so I'm trying to look at it as how is this serving me and what is this trying to tell me and I think for me it's trying to remind me to make sure that I'm showing up with a value that I know I have and to make sure that the the education and the offers and the courses and everything that I create inside Sweet Cheeks University has immense value. And so I think it's kind of like this checks and balances system for me that yes, it can kind of I can allow it to take the reins if I choose to. At the same time, I can allow it to serve me too and make sure that I'm showing up um you know authentically, make sure that I am showing up with as much value as possible for this community that I'm building inside the aesthetics industry.
00:16:42
Speaker
And so it so it is serving me, but there's just, you know, I look back and I'm just like, why did I get in my own way? Sometimes I get in my, I think we all do. I think we just overthink things. I think we're afraid to be seen. um And you know, it's so moving forward going into 2025 and just reflecting on this piece of 2024 helps me be really intentional with how I'm going to choose to show up in 2025.
00:17:12
Speaker
Um, some of the biggest and best lessons I learned in 2024. This is the biggest one. When something isn't working, change direction, even if it's new, even if it's something I thought that I wanted, even if it's embarrassing or costs money or XYZ, even if, even if, even if, and I wrote this down, I'm going to share it with you.
00:17:37
Speaker
get out of the sinking ship before you drown. That was one of my biggest lessons of 2024. And I'll highlight on it a little bit. when my Going back to my 2024 goals, um I really had a very specific goal of bringing in a nurse injector, and I did. And it was everything I thought I wanted for my business. It was a big goal of mine. um It was like one of those, like Mount Everest things that I never thought that would be possible. I figured it out. We put in systems and policies. We we did it from the ground up and um I learned so much along the way. And once it got going,
00:18:20
Speaker
I realized a couple months in that it wasn't working for my business. And it was specifically how we had it set up, and the investment that I made to bring it in. So there was some key things that I knew why it wasn't working. I did realize it wasn't working though. And I had to correct course really fast because we were like on the sinking ship and the business was going to tank if I didn't correct course really quickly.
00:18:50
Speaker
And so that was, it was a hard, hard lesson. It was, um you know, it was hard to get the investment that I made back into this new division that I created for Sweet Cheeks. It was hard to let that relationship go with the nurse injector that I brought in. um It was hard to kind of lead my team throughout the changes and navigate that because I'd never done that before. um There was a lot of hard conversations around it. There was, you know, I had to be really honest and vulnerable with um my team, with my husband, with my account, with where money was going and where it was being spent and where it was not going and why our numbers look like they did. um So it really was
00:19:39
Speaker
really, really eye-opening, very vulnerable. It was hard not to fall into that feeling of failure. and And I think I would have if it had not opened my eyes to other areas of my business that needed attention that I didn't even realize. So that was one of the biggest lessons of 2024 and one of my best lessons of 2024 because if I hadn't had that experience,
00:20:05
Speaker
and had gotten myself in that situation, I would not have seen where there were some major holes in my business where we were really funny and where we also needed, of course, correct in a completely different way that had nothing to actually do with um the injection side of the business that I created.
00:20:26
Speaker
and everything to do with where our profits were not being made and where money was bleeding that I actually didn't even recognize. So biggest blessing of the year, it was a really, really hard um chapter of 2024. And it will always be a really hard chapter of our businesses history in general, and such a, such a blessing, such a great lesson.
00:20:51
Speaker
um really positive things came out of it, even though it was really, really hard. um And some of the best, best lessons learned in 2024, some of the most beautiful relationships and opportunities came out of last year. And those really came down to me surrendering and trusting the process and the universe and in God and a lot of prayer and just really leaning into my goal of co-creating something really beautiful and beautiful relationships game. And one of the best ones was with Jessica. I've had this relationship with Jessica for years because she's been my Eminence rep. Um, but her and I launched beyond aesthetics podcast, this podcast and platform together.
00:21:44
Speaker
um we She brought me into her mastermind group and the coaching side of the business that she was doing. And so we've been able to co-create so many beautiful opportunities together. And it's we're like just getting started and it's been so amazing that I'm so thankful for for that every single day because and it really did come down to surrendering.
00:22:11
Speaker
and leaning into wanting to co-create and not knowing exactly what that looked like and being okay without transpiring. I knew, I didn't, I had no idea that I was going to be a podcast host. I had no idea that I was going to be a co-host in a mastermind group for other estheticians. Like ah if you would have asked me a year and a half ago, I would have probably laughed and been like, yeah, you're funny. um And I think just being open to endless possibilities is really what has made this so seamless and come together so easily is because I've just been open to whatever and not not focused on the how and just really focused on my vision. I knew I've always known the last couple years that I wanted to help support other estheticians. I didn't exactly know how. And so through that, not getting too hung up on
00:23:10
Speaker
how it would happen and exactly how I wanted it to go and just being really endlessly open to infinite possibilities. And here we are. So that's been really cool.

Letting Go & Financial Restructuring

00:23:22
Speaker
um Some challenges that I overcame in 2024, letting go of my first employee, that was so hard. And I don't think that will ever get easier. I don't think that will ever be an easy thing for a business owner to do and because the It is so hard, especially when you care about that person, especially when there's some emotions wrapped up to into it. Um, it's just really hard to end something that isn't working and you know, it's not working for both of you and you have these expectations of how you wanted it to go and it's not going. So that was really hard. Um,
00:24:05
Speaker
I don't think it'll ever get easier. And at the same time, I'm not so scared of it anymore either because everybody lived. Nobody died. So but it it will be okay. You're ever in and and um you know a situation where you have to let go of somebody. Yes, it's hard. And I promise you will live. Another challenge that I overcame, digging myself out of a huge financial hole that I created. That was so hard.
00:24:32
Speaker
And I've done it before in my personal life. I'm actually pretty good at it. And so I very self-aware that those lessons that I've had in my personal life are definitely have served me in my business um over this last year and, you know, getting myself out of debt, digging myself out, restructuring our whole, um,
00:24:55
Speaker
Our whole financial system on the backend of things so that everybody wins. So that the business wins. So that me as a business owner wins. And so that our clients win and so that my team wins. So really just creating like a win, win, win, win, win situation and not be afraid to change course. It's fine. Having part conversations. Those were some big challenges.
00:25:22
Speaker
And then again, changing direction, getting back on force. That was a big challenge, but I overcame it. And it feels really good to be able to look back and be like, okay, yes, that was hard. And yes, we did it. And we lived and, you know, on and up. Some big wins I had in 2024, bringing our retail sales back up. And I can't even take the credit fully for this. This was a win for our whole entire team.
00:25:51
Speaker
In 2023, we expanded, we doubled the size of our physical space in our business, and we added a treatment room, we doubled our retail space, um and we more than doubled our team, we added on several several services. So in 2023, we took a huge quantum leap. And then in 2024, because we had doubled our space, because we had added all these services,
00:26:20
Speaker
because we had new team members that needed extra training. That's really where um my focus went as the leader, as the owner is really, um I think necessarily i've had to lean into all of those things that we brought on. And because of that, I'm able to like recognize that our retail sales took a dip that certain things within the business took a dip because my attention wasn't there. It was on other things necessarily. Yes.
00:26:49
Speaker
Um, and so once I realized that in 2024, actually I think Jessica helped me point this out cause it was like, I don't understand, you know, and I was like trying to blame it on all these external factors. Like it's the economy. It's this, it's that. And she was like, it's because your focus is here and not here. Where up until leading up until 2023, basically from 2020 to 2023, I had like laser focus on our retail sales. I launched our East store.
00:27:19
Speaker
We were shipping products across the country. We were really, really perfecting our retail sales. And then 2023, our focus changed. We expanded, we added team members, all of those things. And so of course, naturally our retail sales took a dip because our focus wasn't there. And I was able to realize in 2024 that I was not utilizing my team. Um,
00:27:47
Speaker
like I should have been when it came to retail sales. And so what really helped us we took Jessica's retail sales masterclass as a team. And then we restructured our retail sales commission how we how I pay ah my team members their retail sales commission, they've always made commission on retail sales, um but it was just like 10% across the board. And that was just kind of, not to say boring, but there was no incentive there. And so we actually, with Justice Help, we created a pay scale and a tiered pay scale with incentives, with um better payouts, with a minimum due. So you had to like have a minimum
00:28:35
Speaker
Um, uh, X amount of retail sales to even get a commission with some more incentives. So it's actually helped so much and our retail sales are like back and booming. And it feels so good to say that. And it's just because our focus, my focus, like I had to refocus and sometimes that happens in business and that's okay. and it's actually necessary. Like there's never going to be a perfect balance in all the areas of your business because when you're really growing one area and you're really focusing on that area, of course other areas are going to relax a little bit because your focus isn't there. And so just know that it's actually like very natural for a business to take dips in certain areas when your focus is somewhere else. So as long as you're like aware and
00:29:25
Speaker
you have the ability to to even notice those things and then refocus when your attention can, or when you can put the the time and the energy back into those other areas, you'll be just fine. And then sometimes it's just like necessary to do, you know, have more conversation around it, do more trainings, actually take a retail sales course training, Jessica has an amazing one,
00:29:52
Speaker
Um, work with your team, talk with your team, have some incentives. Like it's, it's actually really necessary. Another big win promoting and delegating my team.

Promotions & Delegation in Business

00:30:03
Speaker
That was a, that was a great win for 2024. Um, way promoted. Um, Adrienne, she's been with me for the last three something years, promoted her to lead as a petition, delegated some things off of my plate.
00:30:18
Speaker
to her that gave her some more responsibility, gave her some more, or more opportunity to step into a leadership role. And so it was a win-win situation for both of us. And then also just like delegating to the rest of my team, um stuff that I've always done that, um you know, for them to be able to like reach their personal goals and for us to reach our shared vision for Sweet Cheeks as a company.
00:30:47
Speaker
Um, how bringing them into the process, helping them understand processes is really important. So that was a big win. Um, another big win came up over $20,000 in debt. Such a big win for me. Um, again, digging myself out of that financial hole. And that is a big number and holy cow. It just like helps me sleep better at night. Um, it was hard though. Um,
00:31:15
Speaker
Yeah, learning how to self-regulate and return to source. That's always a big win for me. Bringing my kids and my husband more into my business, teaching my Brazilian wax course at local aesthetic schools and beauty colleges in Idaho. um And then really leaning into trust, my word of the year. I really do feel like that was such a big win and I will continue to lean into trust.
00:31:42
Speaker
And I have a new word of the year for 2025 anything I'm going to share that I think I'm going to split this into like a two part series and do another episode on my intentions and my goals for 2025 and just really make this more about a reflections episode for 2024.
00:32:00
Speaker
um And then it's just, I really looked at the limits that I placed on myself for 2024. And I think just recognizing them is so powerful. And so if fear of failure, care to be seen, um the feeling I'm not good enough in posture syndrome, staying quiet and small, feeling some inadequacy and inconsistency um were definitely limits that I put on myself and It's easy to like look back in hindsight and see that. I think the challenge for me, though, is to to really be intentional moving forward and recognize when I am leaning into those limits, when I'm using those limits and this as an excuse, and um and like just shedding those layers, those limitations as I move forward. I have so much gratitude.

ah just looking back on the year as a whole, looking back on my lifespan of my businesses is as a whole.

Integrating Family & Business

00:33:04
Speaker
Um, my family will always be like my source of love and gratitude. And they are the reason that I do this. I i have three kiddos. They're like medium sized kiddos. They're not babies anymore, but they're not like necessarily big, big kiddos. Um, so I'm painfully aware of how fast time is going and how quickly they're growing and it's been really amazing because they've really grown up with me and they've really um like been here from the start of this business. And so they, by bringing them in over this last year and like just sharing more about my business, sharing why I do the things that I do more about my schedule and they're really curious and they want to know
00:33:51
Speaker
And it always surprises me when they ask a very intelligent questions about my business because they are paying attention, even when I don't think they are. And they actually know more than I've like given them credit for it. And I definitely think that's because they've just been a part of it from the beginning. Like I had sweet cheeks before I had kids. And so they've been an integral part of it. I think my My intention is to be a little bit more intentional with bringing them in, sharing a little bit more, um sharing my passion and my why behind my businesses and why I'm doing what I'm

Aligning Actions with True Self

00:34:29
Speaker
doing. I think it's so important to help them understand that it's more than just a job. It's more than just running a business. It's more than just being a boss and doing the tasks that need to be done. Like there is passion behind that. And so,
00:34:44
Speaker
and That's in my intention moving forward. um And then, yeah, I have so much gratitude just for my clients and my team and um being able to understand my health a little bit better and knowing that it's within my control. And um yeah, ah my best investment of 2024, I took a trip to Maui with my kids.
00:35:13
Speaker
And, um, my father-in-law actually, he, um, his heart lives in Maui. And so he was going with or without any of us as a family and me and the kids were the only ones that were able to go. And so it was a very whim on a whim last minute trip. And it like the stars aligned for us to go financially, for us to go like schedule wise.
00:35:36
Speaker
Um, everything worked out perfectly and it was so, so needed. And that's something that is, I'm setting my intentions for 2025 is to just take more time away with my family, um, and to go explore new places and new cultures and new food. And I love traveling and I haven't prioritized it very much in the last decade of my life. And so moving forward, we're definitely going to prioritize that. Um,
00:36:05
Speaker
Yeah, and i I mean, to wrap things up, that's really my reflections for 2024. And if I can leave you guys with anything, I think, again, it goes back to my biggest lesson, like it's okay to change course. It's okay to recognize when something isn't working.
00:36:28
Speaker
Even if it's been like so a dream of yours, even if it's what you thought you wanted, that's totally okay and it's actually necessary um to realign, to recenter, to make sure that you're doing things that are authentic to you and um true to you and that you're showing up as your truest self in that process.

Setting Intentions for the New Year

00:36:51
Speaker
And when it doesn't feel right, when it feels like you're out of alignment, um listen to that. Listen to your gut and really lean into your that. Ask yourself, like, why isn't this working? And really be honest with yourself. The answer will come. And you probably already know it, even if it's a hard realization. um And then change course accordingly.
00:37:16
Speaker
and I think it's so important. Life is too short to do things that are not true to you, to do things that are that like suck the life out of your soul and that you you know hate and you dread doing. and and So if I can leave it with anything, as you're preparing to set your intentions and goals and lean into those for the year ahead, really, really just lean into the feeling of
00:37:48
Speaker
how how that feels when it comes together for you. um you know Is it life sucking? Is it life giving? Is it feel peaceful? Do you feel freedom within it? Or do you feel like a prisoner? And do you feel like you like the walls are closing in on you? Or do you just absolutely dread doing those things? um Or you know living the life that you've created for yourself. And so I'm gonna leave you with that.
00:38:17
Speaker
and I don't know if this episode will be helpful at all. I hope in some aspect

Support System in Esthetics

00:38:23
Speaker
it will. I have um just such a passion for the aesthetics industry as a whole, especially for estheticians, any type of estheticians, solo estheticians, business owners, um anywhere in between, if you're a student,
00:38:41
Speaker
um there's, you know, for the longest time, I felt so lonely in this industry. And I felt like I didn't have anybody to talk to about the real, real life struggles I was going through. And over the last couple years, that's changed so much. I feel like we have the support system. I feel like the, the idea behind um true support and kinship and sisterhood and friendship within the aesthetics industry has leveled up and is changing. And I'm so grateful to be just a very small part of that um because it's like life is hard enough and business is hard enough to feel like you have to go through it alone and to feel like you don't have anybody to lean on or you don't have any resources to learn from. And so, um
00:39:36
Speaker
Yeah, it's just, that's where my heart lies. um I'm really grateful to be here. I'm really grateful for everybody who tunes in and listens to this podcast, who puts their trust in Jessica and I to be your trusted leaders and to just lend our hand in
