And sometimes that can be really hard, whether that's on the purpose journey, whether it's on the fitness, weight loss journey, because that's what I'm in right now as well.

and so Yeah. Okay. So you guys remember a couple episodes ago, I told you that, ooh, I wanted to like play around with posting videos on TikTok and see how that goes. And so I kind of have like re like turned on my love for it again this past week. And I've been posting daily. So I'm in this new goal for myself of like posting daily to TikTok. um I really do have a goal of growing my audience there, not for the vanity quote unquote metrics of like likes and comments and saves.

But honestly you guys, it gives me like it has given me a new passion for my purpose. like It has given me a new like fire ignited inside of me because this is why whenever I post to Instagram, I haven't seen any growth on Instagram for the past like year and a half. I've actually been like declining. and like is that like I don't know why this is so funny to me. When I first started my business Instagram, I think it was in 2021, it did grow pretty fast. I mean, this is like not high numbers. We're talking about getting to 800 followers, like which I know is like nothing in comparison to like people who have big followings But I got to like 800 followers and then I pretty much like peaked there. And for the last like year and a half, I have not been able to like move above that.

And so it can feel like, okay, maybe what I have to say is an important, maybe nobody needs my help. And then it makes you question like, Oh, am I supposed to be like pursuing this? Like, am I supposed to be helping people in this way, whatever way that is for you? And my way is like, Oh, through human design, jean keys, Akashic records, um, like guided meditations and hypnosis, you know, like all the things I'm obsessed with. So it's like, oh, does no one want to even learn that from me? Like, am I just like, hello, am I speaking to like a black hole, which kid can feel like a lot.

So, but then it's like, you just keep going, you know, like you just keep going, you just keep going, putting in the work, the gears. But then you guys, um, I like posting a tech talk, just having like people actually like comment on it or ask questions as a generator that has fueled like so much excitement for me because you know, I'm designed to respond to things. Not even just information, but wisdom that I have within inside of me. The shadow is inadequacy. So it's like never feeling like you're good enough. But when when you are in the gift of that, and someone is like and it's resourcefulness is the gift. And so like if someone is asking me questions, and I can tap into my resourcefulness, oh my god. like think That is like what makes me so excited and like so on fire, so passionate, so driven. That is my vocation. And like I'm you know meant to be resourceful. And so it's just been like a fresh of breath air of like having people engage and like ask questions. And so I highly recommend like if you are a creator or someone who is like trying to grow your following or put yourself out there, put your magic out there, um try different platforms. like If you're on one that just is not working, try something new you know just for fun. And also don't have any expectations because it's it's not a promise that like Basically what I'm trying to say is like there's no guarantees that it's going to be super successful right away anywhere. But I really think with like i really do believe all of the like business coaches, marketing coaches who talk about like growth being consistent, it's super hard to be consistent when you feel like

it's for nothing. So having a little more engagement kind of makes you a little more excited to be consistent. And I know that's not like the greatest way to think about it, because I know, quote unquote, we should just be consistent, even when nobody is paying attention. But honestly, you guys, that's so hard to do, like, which is why I think a lot of us struggle with consistency. But also, if we're following our design, there's so many things in our designs that we can think about too, of like what does consistent even mean for us, right? Like, What does that even mean? Consistent just means like consistency has nothing to do with the amount of times you're showing up, but it's like the consistency. So if you're showing up once a week, that's consistent. If you're showing up once a month, every single month on a Tuesday, that's consistent. If you're showing up daily, that's consistent. If you're showing up three times a day, that's consistent. It's like finding out the window that works for you of how consistent you want to be.

finance journey, whether you're like killing your finances, there's so much information out there that it becomes super overwhelming and then we don't take action on anything. So just really finding the people that you really resonate with and just like sticking with those teachers or finding a way for you to tune into your own intuition, into your own design, and then start taking action from that place is going to lead, in my opinion, the best results. So ah One thing that I did is instead of trying to think like, okay, how can I have a through line? Or like, who's my ideal audience? Or like, what are my content pillars? It's like, okay, that will just leave me spinning forever in my mind. Because as a generator, I'm here to really do like a step by step process, right? Like, we're here to take a step, respond, take a next step, respond. We're not here to make a fucking 10 year business plan.

on our Instagram account, right? Like that's just, that doesn't work. It does not work for generators. It does not work for me. So what I've done is just like start posting things that really excite me like on TikTok. So things that I'm like interested to talk about, maybe like a thought that came through um instead of trying to like instead of trying to plan it or be so in my head. I think this also might be working because I have an undefined throat center. And so I'm supposed to just like talk. I'm not supposed to really like plan what I'm going to speak about. Otherwise, it just really does fall flat. I've noticed that any time that I've tried to like plan what I want to talk about, it really falls flat. But when I'm just like talking off the cuff of something I'm excited about, that usually does the best. So really tuning into your design and seeing, OK, what works better for me? is it better if i

Or maybe you're someone who's just meant to like pick up the mic and just start talking. you know It's like we all have different ways of how our energy wants to express itself. um Another thing that I'm super excited about is, so I have been falling asleep every night listening to my hypnosis meditation that I made for myself for my fitness journey that I've been talking to you guys about the past couple of episodes. And you guys, I have been seeing like results on my fitness journey. Like I have literally been losing fat, like I've been losing weight

And also I don't want this to trigger anybody if you are sensitive to the scale or if there's things that just like, or if you have any like eating disorders or anything that is like triggering in terms of like weight loss or anything like that. Um, but I really have noticed that listening to that every time I go to sleep and rewiring those neural pathways, has helped me stay so consistent and like really excited to do my workout, right? Because I installed the programs of like, okay, Alyssa, you're going to wake up super excited to do your workout. It's like your favorite part of the day. That's where it like makes your mental health feel so good. You feel so strong. You feel like a badass. You feel so accomplished. Um, every time you do your workout, like you're just building more muscle, melting a fat off of you. Um, it just feels so good. And then, um,

I've installed the programs of like the foods that I want to eat and be attracted to. So I am so happy to report you guys. Okay. I have not eaten any fried foods. So like anytime that if I have eaten out and not made my own food, it's literally been like, Oh, the grilled chicken salad at Chick-fil-A because I know that I know Chick-fil-A is very processed. Um, especially like, I know the chicken has a lot of preservatives in it, but the grilled chicken does have the least amount. So say if I'm at lunch and I just like didn't prepare myself for that day, I have been eating like the spicy grilled chicken salads at Chick-fil-A that are just so good. um But in general, I've been cooking my own food and just like really learning how to just be like satisfied and happy with what I'm eating and not necessarily needing to go for those foods that are like super

I don't even know if that's the word pesticides, but you know, like highly processed foods, cancer-causing foods. I've really been trying to stay away from those foods that are just taste so good, but we know they're not good for us. And I have been seeing a dramatic shift in my journey and in my fitness journey. So it's so exciting. um So yeah, it just really proves it really does prove because I'm experimenting this on myself. It really does prove that we can try to set the behaviors for ourselves like Like, okay, um I'm going to put my shoes by the front door and create the behavior of waking up at 5am to go to the gym every single morning. Like that might work for a day or two or a week or two, but then we fall off because we're only changing the behavior. We aren't changing ourselves at the identity level, right? At the subconscious level. We aren't shifting.

into the new version of the person we actually want to be. And so it's going to be so easy to fall back into our old habits. And that is of no one's fault, you guys. Like it is so hard to change. Like, honestly, it is so hard to change. Okay. That is why most people don't change. And it's so sad because we really beat ourselves up about it. But it has it's it's if like if we all just realize that it's not our fault, like literally everything is going against us to change. If we just knew that, then it would take a lot of pressure off of ourselves and we can actually just implement the tools and the things that actually help us change at every single level, mental, emotionally, physically, spiritually.

like We have to have but all of it on board in order for it to actually change and like not be hard. This has been the easiest, honestly, like that I've been on my fitness journey. It hasn't been stressful. I haven't been beating myself up about things. It's like if I don't accomplish a certain goal in one day, like 10K steps in a day, I do not beat myself up about it. It's just like, okay, the next day is a fresh start. Oh, the next day is a fresh start. It's like, how can we go about change in the most loving, easeful, peaceful, chill, yet structured, dedicated, disciplined way. And there really is finding that happy medium because I've noticed for myself, like when I try to be too disciplined or hard on myself, I honestly will just give up on the times where like I'm not sticking to it.

But when I allow myself to just be like, okay, this is like the Capricorn long haul, a fitness journey ah is a huge lifestyle change is literally for our whole lives. It's a lifelong change. And so how can I just like start making choices every day being the person that I want to be getting my subconscious mind on board and like doing those changes like that has been just like, I don't know, instrumental for me. So Yeah. And then, um, okay. So also a lot of you guys know that I, my mom hired me as her coach to also work on her fitness journey. And so one new thing that we incorporated last week, which I want to report to you guys is so badass because it's just so fun getting these like real life, like examples of how this works. So I created a new hypnosis meditation for her to crave certain foods and to like basically stop wanting other foods. So.

She's had an addiction to those, um, like, you know, those like chips, they're not chips, but they're kind of chips. They're like vegetable crisps, kind of like, it looks like the shape of like veggies and they're like little chips. I don't know what they're called. I forgot they're called, but they're like crunchy. They're like peas and carrots, like as if they're chips. Right. So anyways, those, those are pretty high carb. And she was eating like way too many of them to fit in her macros that she wanted to, you know, be working with in. And she had a really hard time giving those up. So we added that, incorporated that into her hypnosis. She's been listening to it every night before she goes to sleep. She listens to it sometimes when she's like laying out in the yard, like on the weekend or something. She's fallen asleep listening to it. So it's like super easy. Like there's nothing, there's nothing you have to do. We're just, you're literally sleeping or like resting, listening to it. She has not touched that bag the whole week.

And she didn't even realize that she hasn't touched it. And she's like, Oh my God, Alyssa, do I have like an aversion to them now? Because she's like, I just like don't want them. She's like, I literally don't think about them. I don't want them. Um, she's like, yeah. And she's been eating so good. She's been eating what she wants to eat. She's been eating her protein. She's been eating her eggs with her veggies and getting a lot of fiber and just like eating all the things she's supposed to eat and cooking for herself and just feeling like so good from it. And it's like, Oh my God, it's because the subconscious mind is on board. It's no longer fighting her. It's not like she's like, Oh, I have to eat this, but really I want that. It completely removes that. Like, Oh really? I want that. It's like not even there anymore. Literally it's gone. And so she hasn't even thought about it, you guys. I'm like, Oh my God, holy shit. This is so cool.

So it's just been super fun. And then another really cool thing that I'm learning in my business is like, okay, as a two, four, right? A two, four, um, profile. The four is all about networking, right? Like the four is the person who is like, who really likes like deep connections. And it's all about like being with the people and networking. And so really we do get a lot of opportunities from within our network because Unlike the five, okay, like line fives are really here to impact strangers. Like they're really, really good at like impacting strangers and being able to have, um, yeah, just like high impact and, and clients that are strangers and, and, and really be able to change and transform strangers' lives. For a four, it really is like.

from the people that we know. like It really is this like trust within people that we know, people that are in our network, people that are in our communities. and so I've been getting um business and referrals from people that I know. so For example, my mom referred me to someone like to her beautiful friend And so I just reached out to her today and I'm creating a hypnosis for her. And then I also have Jean Keys reading this week that came from a peer of mine that I'm so excited to do it for, from a peer of mine that I was in, like, kind of like a healing program that we did together like two or three years ago, and we've just always still been connected. As a for you guys, if you have a for in your profile, just know that like keep shining your light, keep expressing yourself. and like people are going to When they're ready and when they're excited to get whatever magic or medicine you have for them, like you are going to get a lot of business from your network, okay from people that you know. and so It's really fun and like really cool to just keep like deepening those relationships and just let your work speak for itself. It's ah it's almost like taking a pressure off of yourself. You don't have to go and like market a crazy amount or like try to go viral on TikTok or try to go viral on Instagram. it's like That probably won't even benefit you anyways because like we really get our business and our clients and our connections through networking, through people that we know, through people who can like

was to just remember, you guys, like what is the point of all of this? right like what is the point what is the What is the underlying root point of you wanting to live your purpose? Of you wanting to be successful in your business? Of you wanting to impact other people's lives? Of you wanting to live a healthy lifestyle? like What is the ultimate reason why we want to do this. And I was really reflecting on that because it can be so easy to get lost in, oh, I need to like show up. I need to show up on social media. I need to create TikToks. I need to create Instagrams. And like you are kind of pushing. It's easy to like push away your family and to be so focused on your purpose, so focused on creating your business.

like Because you just want it to take off so bad and especially right now when it's like the very beginning stages and maybe you're not able to financially support yourself fully on your business or you're still working a nine to five job, you have a family, you have a partner, maybe you have kids and then like you have this purpose and like you have this business you're own trying to run and like your energy feels so scattered because like you're trying to pour so much into the business because you want it so bad but like nothing's really happening. And I like really had to think about that for myself and think about like why is that and think about what is the ultimate goal. I definitely feel my my um my nervous system like all out of whack when I get like stuck in those rabbit holes. It's like, oh my god, why am I in this frickin' rabbit hole? So I'm just super excited. I've been doing a lot of like um subconscious work as well around like me stepping into my like leadership and like going live because I've never really, I think I've gone, I've never gone live on Instagram. I think I only did it for like an assignment that I had and it was like so awkward and like it was just such a weird energy because I had to do it for like a coaching program I was in. They're so transformative and the subconscious mind is all about repetition. So the more that you can like listen to a very specific meditation or hypnosis meditation over and over and over again, it is going to change the neural pathways so that literally you start acting in that behavior like you become the new person. It's really cool and it's so cool because it's like It's so easy. There's nothing you have to do. It's just like effortless. Um, it's like my new favorite healing modality.
