Introduction to Zodiac Signs Episode

00:00:00
Speaker
Welcome back to the Female Dating Strategy, the meanest female-only dating podcast on the internet.
00:00:05
Speaker
I'm your host, Diana.
00:00:06
Speaker
And I am Rose.
00:00:08
Speaker
And today we have Diana introducing us to the second half of our series on the zodiac and our astrological signs.
00:00:17
Speaker
As we wrap up the year, just some reminders to be true to who we are, to embrace the inherent essence of
00:00:24
Speaker
our natures, and to be as strategic as possible when taking them into account as we brave this whole new world of dating.
00:00:34
Speaker
And so last time we covered the signs Pisces to Leo, and this week we're going to cover the signs Virgo to Aquarius.

Exploring Virgo and Gemini Traits

00:00:43
Speaker
And I think that there's no better sign to start with than Virgo, because paying attention to the details is a bit of a Virgo specialty.
00:00:50
Speaker
And yeah, yeah.
00:00:53
Speaker
Virgo is an earth sign.
00:00:55
Speaker
It is ruled by the planet Mercury.
00:00:58
Speaker
And Gemini is also ruled by Mercury.
00:01:00
Speaker
But the expression of Gemini and Virgo are very different.
00:01:03
Speaker
So where Gemini is like a social chatterbox who gathers information through communicating with other people, Virgo does a lot through observation.
00:01:11
Speaker
And so I think us women can learn a lot from Virgo because Virgo is one of those signs that really does pay attention to the details and has a very high standard for themselves in general.
00:01:22
Speaker
Most of the Virgos I know are very meticulous about the things that they want and like in life.
00:01:26
Speaker
They have very, very particular taste.
00:01:29
Speaker
They can be very hypercritical.
00:01:31
Speaker
You know what?
00:01:31
Speaker
Most of the people you know who are spectacular at their craft sometimes are Virgos.
00:01:35
Speaker
Michael Jackson was a Virgo.
00:01:37
Speaker
Beyonce is a Virgo.
00:01:39
Speaker
Zendaya, I believe, is a Virgo.
00:01:40
Speaker
All of these high-achieving people who want their shit done in a specific way, most likely, they're a Virgo.
00:01:47
Speaker
Interesting.
00:01:48
Speaker
I'm just looking at the dates again.
00:01:50
Speaker
So...
00:01:51
Speaker
Virgo is born between... It'll usually be late August to like early September.
00:01:58
Speaker
Okay, okay.
00:01:59
Speaker
So I would say it's probably like August 25th-ish, I'm going to guess.
00:02:02
Speaker
Something like the 20-something sign.
00:02:04
Speaker
So like August 25th, August 24th, probably to September 23rd, I'm guessing.
00:02:09
Speaker
Yeah, it's like August 23rd to September 22nd.
00:02:12
Speaker
You're right on.
00:02:13
Speaker
I'm just wondering, you know, I'm looking through my contacts of like who my friends are because I write down all of their...
00:02:19
Speaker
birthdays because I hate to miss a birthday and nope that's the one who I thought would be a Virgo is actually born January 20th.
00:02:27
Speaker
I have a question for you Diana because you're talking like you have a lot of Virgos in your life like can you give me an example of one or two of them and how you're like this person is clearly a Virgo.
00:02:37
Speaker
Oh, yeah.
00:02:38
Speaker
So, I mean, you know, like all of the constellations in the Zodiac are usually connected to Greek and Roman mythology, mainly Roman, but like their origin is obviously Greek.
00:02:47
Speaker
So in Virgo, it represents the Virgin Maiden.
00:02:50
Speaker
And it represents Astraea, who was the last god to flee Olympus, I think, or she fled the earth for Olympus, I believe.
00:02:58
Speaker
And also sometimes in Roman mythology, she's associated with Demeter, who is the goddess of the harvest and autumn.
00:03:05
Speaker
So, yes, she's represented by Astraea, who was the last immortal to abandon Earth at the end of the Silver Age when the gods fled to Olympus, which is why Virgo is associated with the Earth.
00:03:17
Speaker
And so Virgo people, like I think last time we spoke, I talked about how there are three different energies depending on whatever sign you are.
00:03:24
Speaker
So there's fixed, there's cardinal, and there's mutable.
00:03:27
Speaker
And if you have to think about it in a life cycle, a cardinal sign is a sign that begins everything.
00:03:33
Speaker
The fixed sign is a sign that maintains everything.
00:03:36
Speaker
And the mutable sign is the thing that ends everything and starts a new project.

Virgo's Self-Critique and Relationships

00:03:40
Speaker
So Virgo shares that with three other signs.
00:03:43
Speaker
So Virgo, I believe Sagittarius and Pisces.
00:03:48
Speaker
I think Pisces is also a mutable sign.
00:03:50
Speaker
So they have a certain flexibility to them that is kind of unusual for the Earth.
00:03:55
Speaker
Also, they share a planet with Gemini and the planet is Mercury.
00:03:58
Speaker
So they kind of have the kind of flexibility that Gemini is traditionally associated with, but they use it in a very different way.
00:04:05
Speaker
So where Gemini needs to be around people, most Virgo people I meet are quite comfortable not having to be around them.
00:04:12
Speaker
You know, I know a lot of introverted Virgos, let me put it that way.
00:04:15
Speaker
Even if they're very social people, they tend to recharge their energy by being on their own.
00:04:19
Speaker
They're very focused on, they're the kind of person where like, if you did a class project at school, they'd be so tired of how fucking stupid everyone is and just end up doing it themselves and wind up with the best grades in class because they can trust themselves.
00:04:30
Speaker
Yeah.
00:04:31
Speaker
They can trust themselves and they know that when they do something, they'll get the work done.
00:04:35
Speaker
They are finicky and they're picky.
00:04:36
Speaker
They do not like people who hold them back from achieving their potential.
00:04:40
Speaker
They are concerned with details.
00:04:43
Speaker
They're concerned with the specificity of details.
00:04:46
Speaker
analyze information is very different from the way that Gemini analyzes information because Gemini is all about learning that information through communicating with other people.
00:04:55
Speaker
But Virgos do a lot of things by observation.
00:04:58
Speaker
They catch a lot of stuff about other people just by watching them and observing them.
00:05:02
Speaker
And so most Virgo people I know, I'm not saying that they're all introverted, obviously, but they tend to be people who are very analytical, people who are, they observe the smaller things, they pay attention to the finer details.
00:05:16
Speaker
And they are usually a good person to have on projects because they care about these things.
00:05:20
Speaker
They care about like, if you are the kind of person who takes a macro look at everything, and you're like, okay, this is more or less good.
00:05:25
Speaker
Like this works, you know, a Virgo is going to look at like those tiny things that you overlooked.
00:05:29
Speaker
And that's where they're going to focus on to help improve things.
00:05:32
Speaker
Like even their criticism, they're not concerned with making you feel bad.
00:05:35
Speaker
They're just concerned with doing it right.
00:05:37
Speaker
And I think that's something that people need to remember about them is that whenever they do criticize you, it's usually not coming from a personal space.
00:05:44
Speaker
They just are used to doing that to themselves.
00:05:47
Speaker
I think that Virgos can be very self-critical.
00:05:49
Speaker
I think they can be very hypercritical.
00:05:51
Speaker
And an insecure Virgo is someone who is going to, you know, project that on other people.
00:05:56
Speaker
I was just going to ask, like, let's use this in the context of the dating realm.
00:06:00
Speaker
What are some of the advantages to this sort of personality and what are some areas in which they might need to learn to be more aware or be more adaptable than they might prefer?
00:06:11
Speaker
You know what I will say I have met a lot of Virgos who are very good at pointing out the flaws and other people and other people's dating lives, but have a huge blind spot with their own dating lives.
00:06:20
Speaker
Because I have a friend and she's very good about like, analyzing the men that come into my life and being like, Oh my god, this guy is terrible.
00:06:28
Speaker
For x, y and z reason, like, she won't sugarcoat it.
00:06:31
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:06:31
Speaker
She'll be like, he's terrible.
00:06:32
Speaker
And like, she's also the person who listens to this podcast regularly and gives me genuine feedback.
00:06:37
Speaker
Like she's, you know, dedicated to helping me improve.
00:06:39
Speaker
Thanks, friend.
00:06:40
Speaker
Yeah, yeah, definitely.
00:06:42
Speaker
They are people you can count on to give you honesty when it comes to whether you're underperforming.
00:06:47
Speaker
But they can have a blind spot with their own selves.
00:06:49
Speaker
Because I think that that's like, I don't know whether I mean, I think we all have that blind spot.
00:06:53
Speaker
You could be somebody like we have like a certain sense of clarity with other people that we don't necessarily have with ourselves.
00:06:59
Speaker
Right?
00:07:00
Speaker
I mean, that's, I guess that's kind of human nature is what I'm thinking about.
00:07:03
Speaker
Like, you know, from a distance, we're all able to see a little more clearly.
00:07:06
Speaker
But when it's upright in front of our face, things just tend to be a little blurrier.
00:07:10
Speaker
Yeah, you know what?
00:07:11
Speaker
Most of the times when I have seen an artist that I'm really into, they always manage to be Virgos.
00:07:17
Speaker
They have like a very impeccable sense of style.
00:07:19
Speaker
And I don't just mean that like fashionably.
00:07:21
Speaker
I mean that like they have a distinctiveness to their craft and the way that they approach problems in life that are very them.
00:07:28
Speaker
Like they care a lot about people call them perfectionists a lot of the times.
00:07:33
Speaker
And that's part of the reason why they put a lot of pressure on themselves.
00:07:36
Speaker
But I think that like they could use that perfectionism for good and use it with the men in their lives.
00:07:41
Speaker
I think that Virgos have the capacity to be very discerning when they need to be.
00:07:45
Speaker
But I don't know why, like anytime I've met a Virgo woman, she's always with like such a shitty guy.
00:07:49
Speaker
And I'm like, why don't you use all this hypercritical perfectionism in your favor?
00:07:52
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:07:53
Speaker
Like use it on him.
00:07:55
Speaker
Use your powers for good.
00:07:56
Speaker
Use your powers for good.
00:07:58
Speaker
Like, you know, instead of paying attention to what everybody else is doing, why don't you pay attention to your own damn life and pay attention to the ancient man in your life and throw him out with the perfectionism that you are accustomed to, you know?
00:08:12
Speaker
Do

Libras' Social Nature and Balance

00:08:13
Speaker
that.
00:08:13
Speaker
Oh, it's so hard.
00:08:14
Speaker
It's so hard.
00:08:15
Speaker
And I think we've all been there.
00:08:16
Speaker
And this is something that I have actually, I was just talking about this with one of my oldest friends.
00:08:21
Speaker
Yesterday, she's a high school sweetheart that they married, you know, right after she finished, they finished college.
00:08:27
Speaker
And they've had a very difficult and tumultuous relationship because he's been alcoholic their entire relationship.
00:08:32
Speaker
And recently he got into legal issues with it.
00:08:35
Speaker
And so he's currently at a facility for rehab, which I'm very proud of him for doing this.
00:08:40
Speaker
And I couldn't be happier for their family.
00:08:42
Speaker
But what was interesting was that my bestie was saying like, you know, I went to some of these Al-Anon meetings that I've been encouraging her to go to for a very long time, Alateen as well for her daughter's.
00:08:52
Speaker
But it's really having people deal with, you know, the illness of codependency and how enabling addiction is part of this dysfunctional pattern that happens, this dysfunctional system that props up and supports, you know, the addict.
00:09:07
Speaker
And she was like, I've just been learning so much.
00:09:10
Speaker
And, you know, all this time I've just been blaming him.
00:09:12
Speaker
And...
00:09:13
Speaker
you know, just thinking that if you would just get this problem fixed up, like everything would be fine.
00:09:17
Speaker
And she's like, and I never looked at my own self.
00:09:19
Speaker
And he said to me before, like, well, I'm going to rehab, but like, what are you doing?
00:09:23
Speaker
What are you changing in your life?
00:09:25
Speaker
It can't just be me.
00:09:26
Speaker
And she's like, and you know, I listened to him, but I didn't really hear him.
00:09:29
Speaker
And now from the starting to go to these meetings, I'm starting to understand like, there's so much I need to be changing in my own life.
00:09:34
Speaker
And I was like, I'm
00:09:35
Speaker
Oh my gosh, this is such a huge revelation for you.
00:09:39
Speaker
So many people will go through their whole lives without ever once stopping and asking, like, is the problem me?
00:09:47
Speaker
Am I the problem as well as the solution?
00:09:49
Speaker
You know, it's so easy to point the figure and to look and to analyze and nitpick over every detail.
00:09:54
Speaker
And this is what I was saying to her was like, you know, this is what therapy really...
00:09:58
Speaker
made clear to me was, you know, all this time I was involved with a very abusive and dysfunctional family.
00:10:03
Speaker
And if my sister would just do this, and if my brother would do that, if my mom wouldn't do this, it was all of these ways in which I wanted everybody else to be different and act differently.
00:10:11
Speaker
And it was really only through therapy that I came to realize like the only control I have is over my own actions and my own responses to situations.
00:10:19
Speaker
And that was where they really started to like grow up and take responsibility for my own life instead of just being a victim of circumstances, you know?
00:10:27
Speaker
Yes.
00:10:28
Speaker
Yeah.
00:10:29
Speaker
And I think that, you know, that's where the fine line has to be drawn, because I think that, you know, you mentioned nitpicky.
00:10:35
Speaker
Nitpicky is something I think a lot of Virgo people can be.
00:10:38
Speaker
I think that when it is destructive and when it is not productive is when it's either extremely self-directed.
00:10:45
Speaker
I think Virgo people can be their own harshest critics.
00:10:48
Speaker
They have to sometimes chill it and cool it with the extreme criticism.
00:10:52
Speaker
I think it's very hard for some of them to practice compassion for themselves just because they do have such a high standard for themselves.
00:10:59
Speaker
But I think that's something that Virgo people have to watch out for with their own selves is
00:11:04
Speaker
is the thing that you're being hypercritical about or hyper fixating on, is it something that is actually helping you?
00:11:10
Speaker
Or is it something that's just making you feel like shit about yourself?
00:11:12
Speaker
You know what, Diana, you're actually making me wonder if maybe, you know, you were saying that like Virgos are really good at pointing out to others what's going on and what's wrong with their relationship.
00:11:21
Speaker
But it almost makes me wonder if this is like they're, if they're so hyper,
00:11:27
Speaker
critical of themselves, maybe in their own minds, they're saying, well, I shouldn't be as critical of my partner because, you know, I can't live up to my own standards.
00:11:36
Speaker
So remember, it's the sort of thing where you're like, well, I'm not perfect.
00:11:39
Speaker
So, um, so I can, I should just love whoever loves me.
00:11:43
Speaker
And maybe it's that same attitude.
00:11:46
Speaker
I had a college friend who was a Virgo and she broke up her engagement last year.
00:11:52
Speaker
And so she's like single right now and she's actually going to come to my city and I haven't seen her in years.
00:11:57
Speaker
Okay.
00:11:57
Speaker
So obviously I was just doing like, I haven't spoken to her in a few years.
00:12:00
Speaker
I haven't seen her in a few years.
00:12:01
Speaker
So like we do these like random catch-ups where like, it's just like, you know, messaging on Instagram and stuff, but like, she's going to be in my town for like a wedding.
00:12:08
Speaker
And so she's just going to crash with me for a couple of days.
00:12:11
Speaker
But you know, we got talking about her life and,
00:12:13
Speaker
And she was like, Oh, yeah, you know, I just wasn't in like the space where I'm ready to be in another big relationship with someone just because she had been with that person for a really long time.
00:12:21
Speaker
And she thought that, you know, they were going down this path of marriage and stuff.
00:12:24
Speaker
And obviously, that didn't happen.
00:12:25
Speaker
And then she was like, Well, you know, like, just to be very clear, and like have my cards on the table, I am in like a polyamorous
00:12:32
Speaker
situation and immediately I was like, Oh, no, no.
00:12:37
Speaker
Like, I was like, Oh, thank God I wasn't sitting in front of her.
00:12:40
Speaker
And it was on a phone call because I would not have been able to disguise my disappointment, you know?
00:12:45
Speaker
Yes.
00:12:47
Speaker
And like,
00:12:47
Speaker
her whole excuse for it was like, Oh, I'm not really looking for anything like seriously committed.
00:12:51
Speaker
And I was like, I mean, you know, you can be in a monogamous dating situation with a person and still not be seriously committed.
00:12:57
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:12:58
Speaker
Like the level of commitment should be proportional to the level of effort that like this person is putting in investing in you.
00:13:05
Speaker
And I was I didn't sugarcoat my feelings about that situation because I said, frankly, I think it's a situation where men get women they don't deserve and they have too much access to women that they don't deserve.
00:13:16
Speaker
I've very rarely seen a man who is emotionally mature enough to be able to handle the emotional needs of one woman, let alone two, three, four or five, you know?
00:13:26
Speaker
Very valid.
00:13:28
Speaker
Very valid.
00:13:28
Speaker
Absolutely.
00:13:30
Speaker
So that's just me being straight up plain, right?
00:13:34
Speaker
And this is a person who can be so discerning and so particular about all these other aspects of her life.
00:13:39
Speaker
But in this particular aspect, she's blind.
00:13:41
Speaker
And I do think that, yes, I agree with you.
00:13:43
Speaker
It comes from being like, well, you know, I am so critical.
00:13:46
Speaker
Is it really that fair to be critical of someone else?
00:13:48
Speaker
Because I'm not perfect.
00:13:49
Speaker
But I will tell you, lots of Virgos don't struggle with thinking they're not perfect.
00:13:52
Speaker
Sometimes a lot of them have the impression that they're the only people with the right ideas and they're the only people with the right perspectives.
00:13:57
Speaker
That's got to be a tough row to hoe as a person.
00:14:01
Speaker
Some humility is required as well.
00:14:02
Speaker
And this is coming from Aaliyah, okay?
00:14:03
Speaker
So, you know, take a look at us all.
00:14:07
Speaker
Honestly, I feel like there are many people who would do better to embrace a little more ego death.
00:14:13
Speaker
And I say this right as a Pisces who's like had a million ego deaths because I just, you know, I'm too quick to look to myself as the root of all problems and maybe more than I need to, honestly.
00:14:26
Speaker
It is a balance.
00:14:27
Speaker
It's always a balance, you know?
00:14:29
Speaker
It is a balance, right?
00:14:31
Speaker
It's like the sun and the moon, right?
00:14:34
Speaker
Yep.
00:14:34
Speaker
It's the balance between knowing when to be discerning and knowing when to be proud of yourself.
00:14:38
Speaker
It is the balance between knowing when to be confident and when to be humble, you know?
00:14:44
Speaker
And both of these things are equally, equally important.
00:14:47
Speaker
And the strategy behind using them correctly is really a life skill that will benefit you in life.
00:14:53
Speaker
But it's something that is learned from experience.
00:14:55
Speaker
Life will humble you.
00:14:57
Speaker
If you make terrible choices with men, life will humble you.
00:15:00
Speaker
Sometimes life will fucking kill you because if you spend time with the wrong man, you may not survive it.
00:15:04
Speaker
This is why discernment is very important.
00:15:06
Speaker
I don't think that discernment is something that Virgo people struggle with.
00:15:09
Speaker
I think that they just feel sometimes maybe that they can't apply a lot of their expectations onto other people.
00:15:16
Speaker
I will say, Virgo, you can expect whatever you want from men.
00:15:19
Speaker
I honestly think you need to pull in that Beyonce energy, not with a relationship front because God knows.
00:15:24
Speaker
See, look, Beyonce is a great example of this because she's so perfect about her career, but look at what she is with her man.
00:15:29
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:15:30
Speaker
Mm-hmm.
00:15:31
Speaker
So I do think that there is some benefit in like learning to use that energy in not just your career, but also use it for the men in your life.
00:15:39
Speaker
Because you know what, that's the time where you should be a bit of a perfectionist.
00:15:43
Speaker
I will say Leo people, I think sometimes having a big ego helps us because like the second a man loses interest in me and he's not willing to treat me the way he was in the beginning, I get bored.
00:15:52
Speaker
I get hella bored and I throw him away back with the other presents.
00:15:55
Speaker
Out you go.
00:15:56
Speaker
Yeah.
00:15:59
Speaker
And you know, I'm always listening avidly to every little morsel from your Leo lips, Diana.
00:16:04
Speaker
So that's Virgo.
00:16:05
Speaker
And then who do we move on to next?
00:16:07
Speaker
Then we move on to the Venusians who are Libra.
00:16:10
Speaker
Oh my gosh.
00:16:11
Speaker
Yay.
00:16:12
Speaker
Almost all my best friends have ended up being Libras somehow.
00:16:15
Speaker
I don't like on every continent when I hit it off with somebody, they inevitably end up being a Libra.
00:16:20
Speaker
Why is that?
00:16:21
Speaker
Well, you know what?
00:16:21
Speaker
I'm a Libra moon, so I can explain.
00:16:24
Speaker
Libras are the Minnesotans of the Zodiac.
00:16:27
Speaker
They are everybody's best friends.
00:16:29
Speaker
No wonder that makes so much sense.
00:16:32
Speaker
They are best friends with everyone.
00:16:34
Speaker
They're the Minnesotans of the Zodiac.
00:16:38
Speaker
So Libra is ruled by the planet Venus and it shares that planet with the sign Taurus.
00:16:44
Speaker
But where Taurus has to do with material pleasure and sensual pleasure, Libra has to do with like charisma and communication and harmony.
00:16:53
Speaker
And just Libras are people who maintain the peace.
00:16:56
Speaker
And that is why they are represented by the scale, because they're all about balance.
00:17:00
Speaker
They're all about moderation.
00:17:02
Speaker
Right.
00:17:02
Speaker
They're all about not having that extreme of an opinion and being very fair minded.
00:17:08
Speaker
The downside of this sometimes is that they can come across as people pleasers.
00:17:11
Speaker
They may fight too hard to maintain the peace at a time when they might need to have a solid stance on something.
00:17:18
Speaker
But in general, you can count on them to be people who are not going to turn up a lot of conflict.
00:17:24
Speaker
They have a preference for harmony.
00:17:27
Speaker
Libras, I will say, Libra girls are a bit like Leos.
00:17:29
Speaker
We care about looks.
00:17:30
Speaker
We're not shallow.
00:17:31
Speaker
I mean, we're super shallow.
00:17:32
Speaker
We're super shallow.
00:17:34
Speaker
Libra girls will look at the face and then they will forget everything else.
00:17:37
Speaker
So if I had to give Libra girls advice, I'm like, you know, he can't just be pretty.
00:17:41
Speaker
He has to do something else.
00:17:42
Speaker
Being pretty is not a personality trait.
00:17:48
Speaker
Yeah, it's not, it's no indication of character.
00:17:51
Speaker
I think that's our weakness.
00:17:54
Speaker
Who doesn't appreciate a beautiful man, right?
00:17:56
Speaker
I mean, it's so rare that you find one, honestly.
00:17:58
Speaker
Yeah, Libra.
00:17:59
Speaker
Libra definitely appreciates a beautiful man because they're ruled by Venus.
00:18:02
Speaker
They're ruled by the planet of beauty.
00:18:04
Speaker
So, you know, they care about aesthetics.
00:18:07
Speaker
They care about the guy and the way he looks.
00:18:09
Speaker
They are not going to be with a sloppy man.
00:18:11
Speaker
They're not going to be with someone who looks hideous.
00:18:13
Speaker
You know, that flannel and the turn back baseball cap, that is not a vibe for them.
00:18:18
Speaker
FDS girlies, let us learn from our Lieberg friends, okay?
00:18:21
Speaker
Because this whole, like, cargo shorts, backward cap wearing, you know, ill-fitted t-shirt that has stains on it.
00:18:28
Speaker
Like, are these men toddlers?
00:18:31
Speaker
Why are they dressing like toddlers?
00:18:33
Speaker
I would actually, I would be dressing my toddler better than these men dress, honestly.
00:18:38
Speaker
I know.
00:18:39
Speaker
There are some well-dressed toddlers out there.
00:18:41
Speaker
But, like, you know, it's giving very Luke from Gilmore Girls energy that kind of, like, I don't care about my looks.
00:18:46
Speaker
I'm ruggedly handsome.
00:18:47
Speaker
No, sir.
00:18:47
Speaker
You're just lazy.
00:18:48
Speaker
That has nothing to do with ruggedness.
00:18:50
Speaker
If anything, it's proving the opposite.
00:18:52
Speaker
It's convincing me there's nothing rugged about you because you can't even think about what you want to put on your own body that day.
00:18:57
Speaker
Like, you're that lazy.
00:18:58
Speaker
I don't think you're off chopping lumber.
00:19:00
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:19:00
Speaker
I just think you haven't had to make these decisions for yourself since the last woman, i.e.
00:19:05
Speaker
your mother, had to do it for you.
00:19:06
Speaker
Okay.
00:19:07
Speaker
So no, it's not that sexy to me.
00:19:08
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:19:09
Speaker
Oh my gosh.
00:19:10
Speaker
Actually, the most rugged man I ever knew was my grandfather, my mom's father.
00:19:13
Speaker
He was a farmer, German descendant.
00:19:15
Speaker
Again, this is Minnesota, right?
00:19:17
Speaker
And he and my grandmother had a very successful, loving marriage.
00:19:22
Speaker
And one thing I noticed was like whenever he would come home from working the land, he would go and take a shower and like shave again and put on his cologne and brush his hair and put on nicely...
00:19:33
Speaker
Nice clothes that he would like, he would put on his Sunday clothes to have dinner at home with his wife and children.
00:19:39
Speaker
And I was always really impressed by that.
00:19:40
Speaker
Like he had his farm clothes and those were only out when he was outdoors.
00:19:44
Speaker
And when he was indoors, he was nicely dressed and nicely groomed because that's how he wanted to present himself to his wife and his family.
00:19:52
Speaker
Wow.
00:19:52
Speaker
Yeah, it's nice when they care.
00:19:54
Speaker
It's really nice.
00:19:55
Speaker
I mean, speaking as a person who's a Leo and a Libra, because I have a Libra moon and I have a Leo sun, so I have a bit of both of these placements, you know, and like we both of these placements care a lot about appearances.
00:20:07
Speaker
You know, they care about like Leo's will want the power couple, but Libra's will not want to go for somebody who does not represent their aesthetic taste.
00:20:14
Speaker
You know, they are not people.
00:20:15
Speaker
They're meticulous.
00:20:16
Speaker
They care about their grooming.
00:20:17
Speaker
They care about maintaining a certain sense of harmony, even in their appearance.
00:20:21
Speaker
Like they are not the people who show up in sweatpants.
00:20:23
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:20:25
Speaker
They care a lot about making sure that they are put together.
00:20:27
Speaker
So but I also think that they're very efficient at mediating.
00:20:31
Speaker
And that's where I think that that might be a flaw, like not a flaw, but like necessarily a downside of being a Libra.
00:20:38
Speaker
I think that in situations of conflict with their partners, they are more likely to just mediate and less likely to stand up for what they want.
00:20:44
Speaker
You have to really beware as a Libra to not be a people pleaser.
00:20:47
Speaker
I have it as a moon placement.
00:20:48
Speaker
And for a very long time, my childhood has really struggled with that.
00:20:51
Speaker
And most of the time it had to do with like just wanting to maintain the peace in my house because I just did not want to be in a loud, chaotic house.
00:20:58
Speaker
And so I just like would give in to what other people wanted, just not like not just to maintain the peace, but just to avoid conflict, you know.
00:21:06
Speaker
And so you have to be careful with people.
00:21:08
Speaker
And like sometimes the conflict is not avoidable.
00:21:11
Speaker
Sometimes you need to actually advocate for what you want.
00:21:14
Speaker
And some Libras can do this and some Libras can't.
00:21:16
Speaker
Again, it's like their sign is one of the only signs that is not represented by a creature.
00:21:20
Speaker
It's represented by a fixed object.
00:21:24
Speaker
They're represented by the scales, which is not a real thing.
00:21:27
Speaker
They're the symbol of balance.
00:21:31
Speaker
And so they always, when they can sense that something is like,
00:21:34
Speaker
going in a direction that is taking them off balance, they're very likely to rectify that situation by giving into what other people want.
00:21:40
Speaker
And I think Libras need to learn to stand their ground.
00:21:43
Speaker
And they need to learn.
00:21:44
Speaker
And that's a very hard thing because in FDS, like we say, you have to stand your ground.
00:21:47
Speaker
And if somebody can't meet it, you must walk away.
00:21:49
Speaker
So if I had to give an advice to Libra, that's what I'd say.
00:21:51
Speaker
I'm like, sometimes you cannot be the bigger person.
00:21:55
Speaker
Sometimes you can't be the peacemaker, you know?
00:21:58
Speaker
Yeah, you can't make peace with Nazis, okay?
00:22:00
Speaker
You can't make peace with Nazis.
00:22:02
Speaker
And that's like something we

Scorpio's Depth and Vulnerability

00:22:03
Speaker
cannot tolerate the intolerable.
00:22:05
Speaker
And that's a lesson.
00:22:06
Speaker
Yeah, you cannot split the difference of the terrorist.
00:22:09
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:22:09
Speaker
An emotional terrorist in this situation.
00:22:11
Speaker
Right, exactly.
00:22:13
Speaker
And they tend to dot the landscape around here.
00:22:15
Speaker
Okay, so that's our dear Libra friend.
00:22:17
Speaker
Who do we move on to after our Libras?
00:22:20
Speaker
Well, you know what?
00:22:21
Speaker
Libras, they bring this very chill and charismatic energy.
00:22:24
Speaker
They're usually very good with people and very social.
00:22:27
Speaker
And the next sign that we have is Scorpio.
00:22:30
Speaker
And Scorpio as a sign is a lot more intense.
00:22:33
Speaker
You know, it's like such a big jump to go from Libra, Venusian, I'm sitting in my feminine energy kind of...
00:22:41
Speaker
kind of sign to Scorpio, which is, you know, Scorpios have the reputation for being very mysterious and very misunderstood.
00:22:48
Speaker
But also, Scorpio is in the sign of, I believe, Neptune?
00:22:53
Speaker
And so they're ruled by Poseidon, but
00:22:55
Speaker
Okay, is that war or Poseidon?
00:22:59
Speaker
No, I think Neptune is Poseidon.
00:23:02
Speaker
But also in Greek mythology, they're associated with Hades and the underworld because the Scorpio house that it rules has to do with the occult and has to do with death and transformation.
00:23:12
Speaker
And so, you know, that's why Scorpios a lot of the time are represented by the symbol of death, essentially, because it doesn't have to, in this situation, it is ego death.
00:23:21
Speaker
In this situation, it is renewal.
00:23:22
Speaker
It's not a bad thing.
00:23:24
Speaker
Scorpio is all about getting to the bottom of things.
00:23:26
Speaker
They're kind of the investigator of the Zodiac.
00:23:28
Speaker
They are people who cannot stand inauthenticity.
00:23:32
Speaker
They are not fake people.
00:23:34
Speaker
They want to know everybody deeply.
00:23:36
Speaker
They want to know what makes people tick.
00:23:39
Speaker
And to some people that can come off as really creepy and intense.
00:23:42
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:23:43
Speaker
Because they don't have time for people who are faking it.
00:23:46
Speaker
They don't have time for people who are projecting images.
00:23:48
Speaker
And these are social mores that, you know, govern the landscape.
00:23:52
Speaker
And there is a certain amount of poly tests that people expect.
00:23:55
Speaker
And I think when you are somebody who comes in with that sort of energy, like, take no, take no bullshit, you know, none of this like small talk.
00:24:04
Speaker
A lot of people, that's how they're able to like dip their toes into getting to know you.
00:24:07
Speaker
If you just want to circumvent that, that often tends to trip off a warning for them, right?
00:24:13
Speaker
Yes.
00:24:14
Speaker
I will say Scorpio has a very good intuitive energy.
00:24:17
Speaker
They're very good at sussing people out when they're in a room.
00:24:20
Speaker
They may be quiet and they may keep to themselves, but they are people who are always paying attention.
00:24:25
Speaker
And that's something they share with Virgo.
00:24:26
Speaker
They are people who are always paying attention to other people.
00:24:29
Speaker
So they don't like lack in the I've observed this thing.
00:24:32
Speaker
Like a Scorpio is the kind of person who will clock a bad person way before anybody else has just because of something minute they did.
00:24:38
Speaker
And they will keep that shit to themselves until the time is right to share that information with other people.
00:24:43
Speaker
Like they have a very good bullshit meter.
00:24:46
Speaker
And for that reason, they're much more quick on the picking up of red flags, you know, but at the same time.
00:24:53
Speaker
Yeah, I was gonna say, but what else should we be on the lookout for then for our dear Scorpios as far as their dating lives?
00:25:02
Speaker
Scorpios love deeply, okay?
00:25:05
Speaker
That super intense shit that they have for other people when they love you, oh my God, you could murder people.
00:25:10
Speaker
And they're like, well, he was just having an off day at work, okay?
00:25:12
Speaker
Yeah.
00:25:15
Speaker
So almost to a point of obsessiveness and unhealthy fixation.
00:25:19
Speaker
Codependence is Scorpio's issue, I would say.
00:25:25
Speaker
Scorpio is a sign that when they're outside of that codependency and they're just meeting you, they can probably suss you out really quick because if they know that you're insincere about your affections for them, they lose interest very fast.
00:25:35
Speaker
They want somebody who's all in deeply.
00:25:38
Speaker
And so you have to be very careful to not attract love bombers or people who are trying to, you know,
00:25:44
Speaker
take advantage of the fact, yeah, hoodwink you into thinking that they are more committed than they actually are.
00:25:50
Speaker
So Scorpios are very vulnerable to like con artists and scam.
00:25:54
Speaker
Okay.
00:25:54
Speaker
Well, not necessarily con artists, but... Love con artists.
00:25:58
Speaker
The thing is, once they're attached, it's very hard for them to let go.
00:26:01
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:26:02
Speaker
Like they are people who love very deeply and want to be in a very, very intense...
00:26:08
Speaker
love relationship with other people.
00:26:10
Speaker
They want like soul ties.
00:26:11
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:26:12
Speaker
They don't like they're not necessarily people who are like, I enjoy being in a casual situation.
00:26:17
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:26:18
Speaker
Like to them, even the casual situations are full of intensity.
00:26:21
Speaker
So you have to you have to be careful not to run the risk of attracting men who are very devious and dubious and know how to manipulate the fact that you want something like this because they can tell you the right things.
00:26:31
Speaker
And then once you're in it, it's very hard for you to let go.
00:26:34
Speaker
I'm not saying that they're forgiving people necessarily because Scorpios also have a reputation for holding a grudge.
00:26:39
Speaker
In my experience, because I have a lot of key friends who are Scorpios, and I think they're very powerful people.
00:26:44
Speaker
I get the sense of them that they have a very powerful sign.
00:26:48
Speaker
Being able to see this aspect of human life and being able to see what people really want, what people are actually all about, that is a gift.
00:26:55
Speaker
But I think that when you're inside of that bubble, you're blind.
00:26:58
Speaker
Like, you know, like that's the thing with every single zodiac sign is they obviously all have blind spots and their blind spot is once they're in it, it's very hard for them to let go.
00:27:06
Speaker
They're very loyal, very, very loyal to the people that they love.
00:27:09
Speaker
And so even if they're being hurt, they like the they might start making excuses for them and shit.
00:27:14
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:27:15
Speaker
So you have to be very careful that like you really, really vet before you give that kind of energy to anyone, because once they're in it, it's very hard for them to extricate themselves out.
00:27:25
Speaker
So that's the thing.
00:27:26
Speaker
That's the thing about being associated with any level of intensity.
00:27:28
Speaker
Intensity requires a level of vulnerability that is not, you know, most men don't have that.
00:27:33
Speaker
Let's just start there.
00:27:34
Speaker
Most men don't have the kind of vulnerability that this sign is usually accustomed to and enjoys.
00:27:39
Speaker
You know, I remember like my Scorpio friend, like the first time I knew we were becoming really close friends was she's the only person in my life who's ever sat me down being like, I want to know everything that's happened in your life that is important to you that I should know.
00:27:50
Speaker
And I was like, that is the strangest, interesting, like most interesting question anybody's asked me because nobody's ever asked me to sit them down and tell them what's happened.
00:27:57
Speaker
And I was like, well, now that you're asking me in this manner, I'm like, I have to actually think about what do I want to tell you?
00:28:02
Speaker
And she was like, well, you tell me what you think is important for me to know.
00:28:06
Speaker
You know?
00:28:06
Speaker
And I was like, oh, this is such a Scorpio thing because she's like, I want to know you so deeply.
00:28:11
Speaker
And I'm like, I have to sit there being like, huh, what is, you know, when I was in the fourth grade, I had a toothache.
00:28:15
Speaker
No, that's not what she wants to know.
00:28:17
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:28:19
Speaker
She wants the heart of things.
00:28:21
Speaker
Yeah, and she's very successful and she's, you know, a very successful performer.
00:28:26
Speaker
And she brings that vulnerability and emotion into her work effortlessly, you know?
00:28:32
Speaker
But she, I mean, thankfully, I think she's embraced the I can't stand thing
00:28:37
Speaker
fake people bullshit of Scorpio and like she does not invite men into her circle at all she hasn't dated in years because she doesn't like most of them because she's like I can tell when a man is being fake and so I can tell when he's not being sincere I have very strong instincts to know he's just putting on an act and so she just doesn't get involved so I think in the highest capacity where they're working
00:28:57
Speaker
When they use that power for their, when they're really, really tap into their intuition and they're like, okay, you know what?
00:29:03
Speaker
Nope.
00:29:04
Speaker
I'm not even going to entertain this.
00:29:06
Speaker
They prevent a lot of situations from arising.
00:29:07
Speaker
It's

Sagittarius' Adventurous Spirit

00:29:08
Speaker
once they're in the situation, you have to learn to walk away.
00:29:11
Speaker
So codependency can be an issue with Scorpio.
00:29:14
Speaker
It sounds like, it sounds like we all need a Scorpio friend in our lives.
00:29:17
Speaker
Oh, yeah.
00:29:17
Speaker
Like my uncle, for example, is a Scorpio.
00:29:19
Speaker
And he's like, you know, he's very observant.
00:29:23
Speaker
He's very honest about what other men are like.
00:29:25
Speaker
And he's just like tells me straight up.
00:29:26
Speaker
He's like, none of them are good enough for you.
00:29:28
Speaker
So don't even bother.
00:29:28
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:29:30
Speaker
Like, I'm not even joking.
00:29:30
Speaker
He knows exactly what men are.
00:29:32
Speaker
He's like, none of them are good enough.
00:29:33
Speaker
Don't even bother.
00:29:34
Speaker
But he's very loyal to a fault.
00:29:35
Speaker
Like, he's very loyal to me.
00:29:36
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:29:37
Speaker
Like, I could do a lot of terrible things.
00:29:39
Speaker
And if somebody went and told him that he just like get angry at them.
00:29:42
Speaker
You know, even if it's true, even if I've actually done those things, he'd be mad at them for pointing it out, you know, the fact that he's so super loyal, but he's also codependent.
00:29:50
Speaker
Me like when I was coming on this trip that I'm in right now, he was like, Oh my God, what am I going to do without you?
00:29:54
Speaker
And I was like, you figure it out.
00:29:58
Speaker
What do you mean?
00:30:02
Speaker
Okay, so that's our Scorpio, brethren.
00:30:04
Speaker
After Scorpio, do we come to?
00:30:07
Speaker
Sagittarius.
00:30:08
Speaker
I feel like I don't know anything about Sagittarius.
00:30:10
Speaker
What's their deal?
00:30:12
Speaker
Oh my god, Sagittarius is my favorite sign.
00:30:15
Speaker
If I was not a Leo, I would love to be a Sagittarius.
00:30:18
Speaker
Because, okay, so Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter.
00:30:21
Speaker
And Jupiter is basically the planet of Zeus.
00:30:23
Speaker
And if you know anything about Zeus in Greek mythology, that guy is like a fuckboy.
00:30:27
Speaker
Like, he's the king of the fuckboys, okay?
00:30:29
Speaker
He is the god of fuckboys.
00:30:31
Speaker
But,
00:30:31
Speaker
he is associated, like Jupiter is the planet of luck.
00:30:34
Speaker
And so with every person, you know, you have a Jupiter placement and that placement is you, depending on which house it is in, usually tells you about where your luck is going to be in your life.
00:30:43
Speaker
So for example, I have Jupiter in my first house and the first house has to do with the self.
00:30:48
Speaker
And so in general, Jupiter first house people tend to be very, very lucky.
00:30:51
Speaker
They tend to be, in general, because they embody a spirit of luck.
00:30:56
Speaker
They intend to have an energy where they think that they're lucky.
00:30:58
Speaker
And a lot of luck is thinking that you're lucky.
00:31:00
Speaker
I think a lot of people don't understand that.
00:31:02
Speaker
So in general, I always tell people I'm a very lucky person.
00:31:04
Speaker
And it's very true for me.
00:31:06
Speaker
I've experienced a lot of amazing luck in my life.
00:31:08
Speaker
And so Joup, what do you call it?
00:31:10
Speaker
Sagittarius, if you know, it's also a creature that's not a real creature, right?
00:31:16
Speaker
It's a centaur.
00:31:17
Speaker
It's essentially a half man, half horse.
00:31:20
Speaker
Oh, no.
00:31:20
Speaker
So they're represented by the archer.
00:31:23
Speaker
And the Sagittarius sign is known for like basically the lore behind the centaurs was that was that they were exceptional warriors and exceptional archers, but they were also really big on partying.
00:31:35
Speaker
So they would party all night and we have no hangover and then go straight to the battlefields.
00:31:39
Speaker
And that is a very Sagittarian energy.
00:31:41
Speaker
Sagittarius's have boundless energy.
00:31:44
Speaker
They are ruled by high learning.
00:31:46
Speaker
They are ruled by adventure.
00:31:47
Speaker
They rule travel.
00:31:49
Speaker
There are people who are basically doing a lot of shit for the plot.
00:31:52
Speaker
And they have a lot of luck.
00:31:53
Speaker
My Sagittarian friends, oh my God.
00:31:55
Speaker
Like, I don't know where my Sagittarian friend is at any given point.
00:31:59
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:32:00
Speaker
He's never in the same country ever.
00:32:02
Speaker
Like, I'm like, oh, yeah, what are you doing?
00:32:03
Speaker
And he's like, oh, today I'm in Portugal.
00:32:05
Speaker
And I'm like, what?
00:32:06
Speaker
I thought you were in England last week.
00:32:07
Speaker
He's like, yep, I'm in Portugal now.
00:32:09
Speaker
And then the next week he's like in Greece.
00:32:10
Speaker
He's like, never, you can never catch them in the same place.
00:32:12
Speaker
They're like lightning.
00:32:13
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:32:14
Speaker
You will never catch them in the same place twice.
00:32:18
Speaker
they're also associated with bachelorhood.
00:32:20
Speaker
I will say, as much as I get along with my gay Sagittarian male friend, I'm sort of terrified of Sagittarian men because they have a reputation for being very noncommittal.
00:32:31
Speaker
But the free spirit and energy they embody really does come out in their relationships as well because you're like, oh yes, I'm dating this man and the next thing you know, he has picked up and moved to Prague and you have no idea that that happened because he didn't tell you.
00:32:43
Speaker
Right?
00:32:44
Speaker
So they are very, you know, they are very ruled by their sense of adventure and their heart.
00:32:50
Speaker
They're really good risk takers.
00:32:52
Speaker
Like they they don't they're not really they're very fearless, you know, much like the centaurs and like the and the the creatures that represent them.
00:32:58
Speaker
They're very fearless people.
00:33:00
Speaker
And being ruled by Jupiter is, you know, super, super helpful because they're basically ruled by the planet of luck.
00:33:07
Speaker
So most Sagittarian people I meet have a good degree of luck in their life in general.
00:33:11
Speaker
They are the people who can pick up and just move somewhere else and it just somehow works for them.
00:33:16
Speaker
They didn't have to think that much about it.
00:33:17
Speaker
They didn't have to plan too much about it.
00:33:19
Speaker
They didn't have to struggle for nothing.
00:33:21
Speaker
They just moved and they had a great time.
00:33:24
Speaker
Well, I think this is a really good point as far as understanding the nature of luck itself.
00:33:28
Speaker
I mean, because it's a self-fulfilling prophecy, right?
00:33:32
Speaker
And this is something where it's a lot easier to be fearless
00:33:35
Speaker
when you are always so assured that like luck is on your side because you all right the expectation that assumption is that somehow magically things will work out and luckily they do because of that sort of this intangible element that you still are able to to discern is actually applicable in your life i've been extremely lucky in my life in fact i wanted to ask you diana do i have any jupiter
00:34:01
Speaker
We all have Jupiter placements, but it depends where it is in your chart.
00:34:05
Speaker
You know, at the end, I'll tell you where your Jupiter placement is because I don't remember off the top of my head.
00:34:10
Speaker
But every single person has a Jupiter placement.
00:34:13
Speaker
It might not necessarily be in Sagittarius.
00:34:15
Speaker
If it is, it's usually a good thing because that means Sagittarius is in its own house, its own planet.
00:34:20
Speaker
But usually, like my Jupiter is in Libra.
00:34:23
Speaker
Yeah.
00:34:24
Speaker
but it's in the first house.
00:34:25
Speaker
And so it's very prominent in my personality as well.
00:34:27
Speaker
Like Libra is very prominent in my personality.
00:34:29
Speaker
And also I just tend to be a very lucky person because again, it has to do with selfhood.
00:34:33
Speaker
So this is a person who traditionally, if it's in your first house, it affects all the other houses because what really affects your luck more than anything is your belief in your ability to attract good things.
00:34:42
Speaker
And I think it's something that like we should take from the Sagittarian spirit is part of the reason why they're so successful is they take a lot of risks and they genuinely do believe that it works out because they're
00:34:52
Speaker
they never cling on and ruminate too much about when things don't go their way because they probably have just as many losses as the rest of us, but they're not usually people who are fixated on their losses.
00:35:03
Speaker
They're a mutable sign, just like Pisces, just like Gemini, just like Virgo.
00:35:07
Speaker
And so they have this flexibility and this like...
00:35:11
Speaker
flow to them.
00:35:12
Speaker
That's just like, I don't, I don't linger on the negativity, you know, much like Zeus, Zeus is like the king of the gods, right?
00:35:18
Speaker
He's a person who can take any kind of executive action because everybody just has to follow him.
00:35:23
Speaker
Right?
00:35:24
Speaker
He is the ultimate leader and he gets to do whatever the fuck he wants.
00:35:27
Speaker
Now, obviously in Greek mythology, he uses it for evil.
00:35:30
Speaker
But part of the reason why he, you know, he rules this particular sign and Jupiter is basically Zeus is because this is a person who just does things.
00:35:39
Speaker
He just takes those risks like he doesn't.
00:35:41
Speaker
Like that's one of the downsides of Sagittarius as well as sometimes they may not think through the consequences of doing things like doing things for the plot.
00:35:47
Speaker
You can only get you so far in life in terms of luck, but it can also backfire immensely in that you must plan out things, too.
00:35:55
Speaker
You do have to take pause every now and then and take stock and be like, is this a wise decision?
00:36:01
Speaker
But the good thing is Sagittarius is a sign that learns through experience.
00:36:05
Speaker
They're experiential learners.
00:36:06
Speaker
They are not people who you will see glued to a book.
00:36:09
Speaker
Even though they do rule higher learning and wisdom and travel, they tend to be people who learn through their experiences with other people.
00:36:16
Speaker
So in my experience with other Sagittarians, they tend to be very quick studies.
00:36:21
Speaker
The other really good thing I like about them is they're very generous people.
00:36:24
Speaker
I've never met an un- like a stingy Sagittarius.
00:36:29
Speaker
They're very, very loose with their first strings.
00:36:33
Speaker
But I will say that they need like, you know, women, Sagittarius women, that money is yours.
00:36:38
Speaker
Okay.
00:36:39
Speaker
Don't be buying men all this shit.
00:36:41
Speaker
So spend that shit on your female friends instead.
00:36:43
Speaker
Spend it on your Leo friends.
00:36:44
Speaker
They appreciate it.
00:36:45
Speaker
That's what I'd say.
00:36:50
Speaker
So

Capricorn's Discipline and Patience

00:36:51
Speaker
that's our Sagittarius.
00:36:52
Speaker
Who do we have left that we're going over today?
00:36:54
Speaker
We have two more.
00:36:55
Speaker
We have the next sign, which is a little bit more serious, but also a sign I really like.
00:36:59
Speaker
It's Capricorn.
00:37:01
Speaker
So Capricorn is ruled by the planet of Saturn.
00:37:04
Speaker
And Saturn is a bit of an obstacle giver.
00:37:07
Speaker
Okay.
00:37:07
Speaker
Saturn is Capricorn similar to Sagittarius is also an experiential learner.
00:37:12
Speaker
But I will say that where Sagittarius has an abundance of luck being ruled by Jupiter, Capricorn learns the hard way.
00:37:19
Speaker
And so Capricorn is a sign that can't really fuck around.
00:37:22
Speaker
And so it's one of the hardest signs to be besides Pisces.
00:37:25
Speaker
Pisces because they have a little bit of everyone.
00:37:27
Speaker
And so they have an endless capacity to empathize.
00:37:32
Speaker
But Saturn ruling your planet is kind of a hard sign, like a hard situation sometimes because they cannot mess around.
00:37:40
Speaker
Things come back to bite them.
00:37:41
Speaker
Saturn is the most strict with his own children.
00:37:45
Speaker
Because Saturn in Greek mythology is basically represented by Kronos, who is Zeus's father.
00:37:51
Speaker
And so Capricorn is like the daddy of the Zodiac.
00:37:54
Speaker
And the opposite of Capricorn in the Zodiac wheel is Cancer, which is the mother of the Zodiac.
00:37:59
Speaker
So different energies.
00:38:00
Speaker
Cancer is nurturing, maternal, giving, loving, very associated with the home.
00:38:05
Speaker
And Capricorn is the father, the strict disciplinarian who is associated with career.
00:38:10
Speaker
So a lot of Capricorn people are very obsessed with their career.
00:38:12
Speaker
And I mean, again, they're like, they are, their house is ruled by the house of careers.
00:38:17
Speaker
It makes total sense.
00:38:18
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:38:18
Speaker
Like they're, they're very fixated on,
00:38:21
Speaker
material prosperity as well because they're also in earth science.
00:38:24
Speaker
So most earth science have a groundedness to them.
00:38:26
Speaker
They care about security and stability.
00:38:28
Speaker
So Capricorns tend to be very successful people, but I think that they can be very punishing to themselves because they already have an aspect that can be quite punishing.
00:38:37
Speaker
And so they have to be careful not to be...
00:38:40
Speaker
overtly hurtful with themselves in there because they will learn those lessons anyway.
00:38:45
Speaker
Any person that has like a Saturn placement somewhere in their big three, life has given them like they have gone through the school of hard knocks.
00:38:52
Speaker
Okay.
00:38:53
Speaker
So with Capricorns, like the decisions they make,
00:38:57
Speaker
hit them much, much harder.
00:38:59
Speaker
And so a lot of Capricorns have a very serious demeanor because they've had to go through some things in life that have forced them to grow up in ways that other signs have not had to deal.
00:39:07
Speaker
Like it's a very opposite energy to Sagittarius where Sagittarius is like just crazily doing things that like Sagittarius moves like a child that is in a candy store for the first time.
00:39:16
Speaker
Capricorn moves like the child that is after, you know, has come back there after their 20th cavity and their root canal and is now like, OK, I can't afford to do this shit anymore.
00:39:26
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:39:28
Speaker
So the energy is very different because Saturn as a planet is very strict with his own house.
00:39:32
Speaker
But Saturn rules is basically the planet of karma.
00:39:36
Speaker
And so if you fuck around with a Saturnian rule person, it will come back to bite you as well, because Saturn may be strict with his own kids, but he also is fiercely protective of them.
00:39:44
Speaker
So, you know, they're not like if they're the kind of person who does like terrible things like they steal or they treat people poorly, it comes back to hurt them and how.
00:39:53
Speaker
So most Saturn people have like a very tumultuous relationship to risk.
00:40:00
Speaker
They're very risk averse because they have seen the consequences of taking risky decisions in a bad way.
00:40:08
Speaker
And so that kind of manifests in their relationships as well.
00:40:12
Speaker
Sometimes I know a few Capricornian women and some of them have done really well for themselves in that they've learned from their lessons and they're like, okay, my father was this fucked up asshole and I'm not going to do this.
00:40:20
Speaker
And so they wound up with someone who really treats them well.
00:40:23
Speaker
which is hard for them.
00:40:24
Speaker
I think that they need to tell themselves that they deserve it because I think that for them, it doesn't come as naturally as it does to the other signs because they are just ruled by so much discipline and responsibility.
00:40:32
Speaker
And so it's a heavy sign.
00:40:33
Speaker
Like it's strict dad energy.
00:40:35
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:40:36
Speaker
And strict dad does not get to sit down and just enjoy his time with his family sometimes.
00:40:39
Speaker
Like sometimes strict dad will stay in strict dad mode, always worrying about family finances, always worrying about what other people are doing.
00:40:46
Speaker
Like they care a lot about public perception as well.
00:40:48
Speaker
So if they don't feel successful in their life, it can hurt even harder.
00:40:52
Speaker
So it's very important that they have a partner that is nurturing and supportive of them and allows them to relax because they are less likely to do that.
00:41:00
Speaker
They're less likely to tell themselves that they deserve that, you know?
00:41:03
Speaker
So I would say that my Capricorn sister, it's a heavy load to have the sign that you have for sure.
00:41:08
Speaker
It's very responsible.
00:41:10
Speaker
And like the other Capricorn woman I know, like she's such a boss about her career, but she's with a guy, she's with a Libra man, which I never advocate, but yeah.
00:41:17
Speaker
Which is very frivolous compared to her sign because, again, Libra is ruled by Venus and she's ruled by a much more serious planet.
00:41:24
Speaker
So it would have probably done her well to be with a partner that was going to be a much more supportive, nurturing partner because Libras can be a bit flaky as well.
00:41:32
Speaker
That solidness and that consistency is something Capricorns really need in order to feel safe in their lives.
00:41:37
Speaker
Otherwise, they can't express that softer side of themselves.
00:41:40
Speaker
It's very hard to be a strict mom.
00:41:41
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:41:44
Speaker
it's very important that they find people who can nurture and tease out a softness to them and who can actually allow them to relax.
00:41:50
Speaker
That's very important.
00:41:52
Speaker
And it's also very important that they don't punish themselves through their relationships.
00:41:57
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:41:58
Speaker
Because I think a lot of them buy into this like,
00:42:00
Speaker
Well, it's not possible.
00:42:01
Speaker
That doesn't exist.
00:42:02
Speaker
Like people, men like this who will treat you well don't exist.
00:42:04
Speaker
So yes, this is part of my discipline.
00:42:06
Speaker
I just have to put up with this because this is the world we live in and I need a two person income.
00:42:09
Speaker
They can be overtly pragmatic about things that they don't need to be pragmatic about.
00:42:13
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:42:14
Speaker
Like you cannot be like, okay, well, we need a two person income and this person will do.
00:42:18
Speaker
And so I will take this person and do it because that is how you get a liability.
00:42:21
Speaker
And again, Saturn is all about teaching you consequences.
00:42:23
Speaker
It is the planet of karma.
00:42:25
Speaker
Your bad decisions will come back and catch up with you.
00:42:27
Speaker
And
00:42:27
Speaker
And so I think that's something that we should learn from Capricorn's burden, that all of us should feel the weight of our bad decision making, because that is the only way you will learn sometimes is through strict fatherhood energy.
00:42:39
Speaker
You know, the disciplinarian will come back to get you.
00:42:42
Speaker
Well, nobody appreciates it.
00:42:44
Speaker
But at the same time, it's like sometimes that's the only way lessons get through.
00:42:48
Speaker
Yes, exactly.
00:42:49
Speaker
We are very strict here.
00:42:50
Speaker
We have a Saturnian influence with women, I think.
00:42:53
Speaker
I think we're very, you know.
00:42:54
Speaker
We have a Saturnian bench.
00:42:55
Speaker
Yes, we are not.
00:42:56
Speaker
We are not very Jupiterian in this regard.
00:42:59
Speaker
Like, we're not just telling you to do shit for the plot and rely on luck.
00:43:02
Speaker
We are telling you to have strategy.
00:43:04
Speaker
And Capricorn is also very good at strategy.
00:43:06
Speaker
They're very good at these kinds of extremely pragmatic ways about navigating their life.
00:43:11
Speaker
That's usually not a thing that they struggle with.
00:43:13
Speaker
They're usually quite on top of their careers.
00:43:15
Speaker
I've never met... I know a Capricorn who's a big person in the UN now.
00:43:21
Speaker
I know another woman who runs a skincare company.
00:43:24
Speaker
I know another woman who's a writer just like me.
00:43:26
Speaker
And the key difference between all of them is I can tell such a difference between the ones who allowed themselves to be nurtured and doted on.
00:43:34
Speaker
Because those people have the softness that is very hard for Capricorn to come across.
00:43:39
Speaker
But the one that is, you know, did not pick well, she's still struggling.
00:43:43
Speaker
Because now she has to deal with an extra load of having to... So you know what I mean?
00:43:46
Speaker
Like her consequences came back to bite her and how?
00:43:48
Speaker
Because now she has a son and for her, it's not that easy to leave.
00:43:52
Speaker
Because now she has to do all the work of raising her child on her own and maintaining a really high intensity career.
00:43:59
Speaker
Yeah.
00:44:00
Speaker
But at the same time, she does not have a power.
00:44:01
Speaker
She has a Libran guy who just doesn't do very much.
00:44:05
Speaker
I mean, he earns money too, but you know what I mean?
00:44:07
Speaker
Like it has to be beyond earning money.
00:44:08
Speaker
That's what I mean about Capricorn is they can be overtly pragmatic and be like, well, he makes money and like he does the bare minimum for the child.
00:44:13
Speaker
That does not make him a good partner.
00:44:14
Speaker
That just makes him sufficient.
00:44:17
Speaker
You know, we don't want sufficient partners.
00:44:19
Speaker
We have to go beyond he doesn't beat me.
00:44:21
Speaker
Okay.
00:44:21
Speaker
Yes.
00:44:22
Speaker
Yeah.
00:44:22
Speaker
We have to go beyond sufficiency and go into actual enjoyment.
00:44:27
Speaker
Surplus.
00:44:28
Speaker
Yeah.
00:44:28
Speaker
Surplus.
00:44:29
Speaker
Surplus is important.
00:44:30
Speaker
I like this.
00:44:31
Speaker
So we can all learn that lesson from the Capricorns.
00:44:34
Speaker
After the Capricorns, wait, is the next one...
00:44:37
Speaker
We have our last one.
00:44:38
Speaker
And also, by the way, just to end on this note.
00:44:40
Speaker
So probably some of you know about like the Grim Reaper and stuff, right?
00:44:43
Speaker
He's represented by like the sickle and he represents the harvest.
00:44:47
Speaker
And again, that's the association with Saturn as well.
00:44:50
Speaker
Saturn in tarot is actually represented by the devil.
00:44:52
Speaker
So the, you know, you got the devil is in the details, as they say.
00:44:58
Speaker
But part of the harvest thing is because it's when the souls are at their peak, when they've experienced it.
00:45:04
Speaker
When do we harvest something is when it's ready to be harvested, when it has gone through everything in life.
00:45:09
Speaker
Kronos is associated with death because of that, because his weapon of choice is the sickle.
00:45:14
Speaker
And Kronos was put into an eternal slumber by Zeus, because Zeus is his son.
00:45:18
Speaker
So it's really sins of the father in Greek mythology, because Kronos is the one who starts the cycle by castrating his father, Uranos,
00:45:25
Speaker
And then he has a terrible relationship with his wife because he ends up eating all of her children, Rhea's children.
00:45:33
Speaker
And so she ends up conspiring with Zeus because she basically raises him away from the rest of them.
00:45:40
Speaker
And they plot to essentially kill Kronos, but they can't kill him.
00:45:44
Speaker
So they end up putting him to sleep.
00:45:45
Speaker
And that's why Kronos represents death and it represents time.
00:45:48
Speaker
And that's why it's about the harvest, because at the right time, you will be harvested.
00:45:52
Speaker
So that's why it rules karma and stuff, because for Capricorn, everything is about timing.
00:45:57
Speaker
So please just believe in divine timing and know that if you are dealing with an ancient man, it's not some lesson for you to learn about about consequences.
00:46:06
Speaker
You throw him away and the lesson you learn and that's a turnian thing is there will be better.
00:46:10
Speaker
And the time for that will come.
00:46:12
Speaker
You know, you don't have to settle for the first thing that comes your way.
00:46:16
Speaker
That's such a hopeful, that's such a hopeful note to end on for the Capricorn.
00:46:21
Speaker
Yeah, yeah, it's a hard sign to be.
00:46:23
Speaker
Like, Pisces and Capricorn, really, they, like, it's just so much responsibility associated with those two signs.
00:46:28
Speaker
It's very unfortunate because they do not get to be light the way some of the other signs do.
00:46:31
Speaker
You

Aquarius' Individuality and Rebellion

00:46:32
Speaker
know, Sagittarians, it's a very different energy to go from Scorpio to Sag to Cap.
00:46:37
Speaker
Because it's like Scorpio is so serious.
00:46:38
Speaker
And then Sag is like, yay, Libra is so fun.
00:46:41
Speaker
And Scorpio is like, ooh.
00:46:43
Speaker
It's like every one sign you get, you get another sign that's like super intense that can't enjoy anything.
00:46:48
Speaker
Yeah, that is so interesting.
00:46:50
Speaker
Because I always thought that Pisces was like, I don't know where I got the impression was that we were flighty and just like this and that and the other.
00:46:58
Speaker
But I've always felt like a real sort of profound sense of,
00:47:03
Speaker
Not responsibility, but I've always felt sort of a profoundness of self with being who I am.
00:47:11
Speaker
No, they're very introspective.
00:47:12
Speaker
They're dreamers.
00:47:13
Speaker
It's not I don't I wouldn't call them flighty.
00:47:15
Speaker
I would call them idealistic.
00:47:17
Speaker
I would call them dreamers.
00:47:18
Speaker
They are dreamy people.
00:47:19
Speaker
They they think a lot, you know, they're in their head a lot.
00:47:22
Speaker
So, yeah, of course, you have a strong sense of self because you have given it a careful consideration.
00:47:27
Speaker
Yes.
00:47:27
Speaker
So that's our Capricorn.
00:47:28
Speaker
The last one of today is?
00:47:32
Speaker
Is Aquarius.
00:47:33
Speaker
And I believe Aquarius is also ruled by Saturn, but it's co-ruled another planet.
00:47:38
Speaker
Let me check what the other planet is just to confirm.
00:47:40
Speaker
Co-ruled?
00:47:41
Speaker
I didn't even know that could be a real thing.
00:47:43
Speaker
Yeah.
00:47:43
Speaker
I mean, in ancient astrology, it was ruled by Saturn and Uranus.
00:47:50
Speaker
So, but if you think about it in the Greek way, it is essentially ruled by both the big daddies.
00:47:54
Speaker
Okay, it's ruled by Uranus and Kronos.
00:47:57
Speaker
And so the generations are Uranus, Kronos, Zeus, and then his kids, you know, which is like, it's easier to count how many children Zeus does not have at this point.
00:48:07
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:48:09
Speaker
I know.
00:48:10
Speaker
But Aquarius is a very interesting, there's an interesting lore behind Aquarius as well, because it represents Ganymede, the cup bearer.
00:48:16
Speaker
And Ganymede is essentially this very pretty boy that Zeus took a liking to.
00:48:19
Speaker
And like all the girls and boys were into him.
00:48:22
Speaker
And Zeus is like, nah, I want him for myself.
00:48:24
Speaker
And so Zeus loved him so much that he became the cup bearer and he made a constellation for him, just Ganymede.
00:48:30
Speaker
And that's why Jupiter also, one of the planets of Jupiter is Ganymede, by the way.
00:48:34
Speaker
But basically, he never wanted to be too far from his little cupbearer.
00:48:37
Speaker
And so Aquarius is the sign of Ganymede.
00:48:39
Speaker
And that's why it has such a big constellation, because Zeus gave that constellation to his favorite gay toy.
00:48:47
Speaker
Zeus is very bisexual.
00:48:48
Speaker
Let's just start there.
00:48:49
Speaker
But yes, that's why Jupiter... Yeah, that's why he's pansexual.
00:48:53
Speaker
He really is.
00:48:54
Speaker
But that's why the OG pansexual.
00:48:57
Speaker
I was going to say, you know, it's like he was fucking swans.
00:48:59
Speaker
He was fucking deer.
00:49:00
Speaker
Yeah.
00:49:01
Speaker
He became a bee and then had sex with another bee.
00:49:03
Speaker
Like, you know, his sex life was all over the place.
00:49:05
Speaker
But yeah, that's why Ganymede is also one of the planets of Jupiter.
00:49:10
Speaker
So that's the lore behind that.
00:49:11
Speaker
And Aquarius is represented by Ganymede as well.
00:49:14
Speaker
So Aquarians, it's a very interesting sign to end it on because again, they're also kind of ruled by Saturn.
00:49:21
Speaker
So they also have that similar sense of responsibility, but because they're co-rules, they're also ruled by change.
00:49:28
Speaker
So they're not just ruled by discipline.
00:49:29
Speaker
They're also ruled by the passage of time.
00:49:31
Speaker
change.
00:49:32
Speaker
Aquarians are people who are very contrarian.
00:49:35
Speaker
They are people who are rebels by nature.
00:49:39
Speaker
They are very likely to be people who just don't like to conform.
00:49:43
Speaker
They like to see beyond what people want from them.
00:49:47
Speaker
And they don't buy into convention.
00:49:50
Speaker
They don't buy into like, I must do something because it's a system that works for everyone.
00:49:54
Speaker
Like they are people that will march their own drummer.
00:49:58
Speaker
They are people who also are, again, they're ruled by the planner of karma as well.
00:50:03
Speaker
So they are like rebels there.
00:50:05
Speaker
I mean, they have a reputation in the Zodiac for being rebellious.
00:50:08
Speaker
Okay.
00:50:08
Speaker
They're like the rebels of the Zodiac, but again, it does affect them because, because they're co-ruled by Saturn, they have that sense of consequence.
00:50:15
Speaker
Karma affects them as well.
00:50:17
Speaker
They're also free spirited, just like Sagittarius.
00:50:19
Speaker
They're very opinionated.
00:50:21
Speaker
Um, um,
00:50:22
Speaker
And also they're the opposite of Leo on the wheel.
00:50:24
Speaker
You know, it's like, for example, I believe the opposite of Pisces is what is the opposite of Pisces?
00:50:29
Speaker
I'm curious to know.
00:50:29
Speaker
What is your opposite sign?
00:50:30
Speaker
Should be an earth sign.
00:50:31
Speaker
I think, I think it's probably Virgo.
00:50:33
Speaker
Yeah.
00:50:33
Speaker
So your opposite is Virgo, you know?
00:50:36
Speaker
Yeah.
00:50:37
Speaker
So Pisces is like the water sign is associated with the broader spiritual picture, but like Virgo is a very practical and grounded sign.
00:50:44
Speaker
So in a similar way, Leo is about like, it's a regal sign.
00:50:48
Speaker
It's a sign that loves to hear from people and loves to be in community with other people.
00:50:53
Speaker
But Aquarians are people who want to stand on their own.
00:50:56
Speaker
Aquarians are people who want to be noticed for how visionary they are.
00:51:00
Speaker
They're free spirited.
00:51:01
Speaker
They're eclectic.
00:51:02
Speaker
They're bold.
00:51:03
Speaker
They want to be noticed for how unique they are.
00:51:06
Speaker
Leos just want to be noticed.
00:51:07
Speaker
We don't care if you think we're unique.
00:51:10
Speaker
very different.
00:51:11
Speaker
So we're more connected to people in the sense that like, we want to be acknowledged by people.
00:51:15
Speaker
Aquarians are okay to be acknowledged by people, even if it's for something negative, you know what I mean?
00:51:19
Speaker
Because they're like, I want to be known for not conforming to what other people want of me.
00:51:24
Speaker
They are not people like if you tell them, oh, you just do things just like so well, the way everyone else does, they will be offended.
00:51:30
Speaker
Because they were not trying to do that.
00:51:32
Speaker
But I also think that they are the true humanitarians of the Zodiac because they a lot of them tend to have an activist streak.
00:51:39
Speaker
A lot of them tend, I know a lot of Aquarian friends of mine who are very into the environment and very into like they have a social issue or a cause that they care about and they devote a lot of their time to it.
00:51:47
Speaker
You know, there are people you notice immediately because they just have a very unique way of expressing themselves.
00:51:52
Speaker
But again, there is a certain detachment and aloofness that comes from being an air sign because they're a fixed air sign and by nature, air is not a very fixed element.
00:52:01
Speaker
You know, so they can be kind of stubborn and rigid in the expression of their uniqueness.
00:52:08
Speaker
Let me put it that way, because that's the that's the downside of being a rebel.
00:52:12
Speaker
Sometimes when you stand outside of the lines and you don't want to be in community with other people, other people just think of you as a eccentric weirdo.
00:52:18
Speaker
And sometimes it works for you if you're an old granny who just chooses to wear all green and really funky New Yorker style granny that's like, oh, yes, what a cute old lady.
00:52:28
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:52:29
Speaker
But if you're doing it just because you have to be separate from other people, it can also isolate you.
00:52:35
Speaker
So you have to be careful because that's the downside of Leo from the other end and that Leos tend to want public approval.
00:52:42
Speaker
And so we have to be careful not to constantly seek it.
00:52:44
Speaker
It's like a double whammy when you're like a Leo and a Libra, because again, comes back to people pleasing.
00:52:49
Speaker
You have to not compromise your sense of self or other people.
00:52:52
Speaker
But Aquarians don't do that.
00:52:53
Speaker
They don't tend to compromise themselves or other people.
00:52:56
Speaker
But the detachment that comes from being an air sign,
00:52:59
Speaker
can also make them lack empathy for other people.
00:53:01
Speaker
So you have to be careful.
00:53:02
Speaker
Like some of the Aquarian women I know, they're really badass, but also there have been a lot of times where I've had to point out to them, I'm like, yeah, that was not the most empathetic way you could go about doing that.
00:53:10
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:53:11
Speaker
They can be very detached.
00:53:12
Speaker
They don't think, they think macro level.
00:53:14
Speaker
So they're not thinking about individual action and like every single thing is going to affect someone.
00:53:18
Speaker
They're just thinking about like, well, this is not the most efficient way to do this.
00:53:21
Speaker
How can we do this on a macro level?
00:53:22
Speaker
So you have to be careful not like Pisces never struggles with this, right?
00:53:26
Speaker
Because Pisces having a little bit of everyone makes them so in tune to what other people need.
00:53:31
Speaker
They're so empathetic.
00:53:33
Speaker
They're overtly empathetic.
00:53:35
Speaker
It will be I think for a Pisces, it would be very hard to understand Aquarian because an Aquarian does not have that kind of thought process.
00:53:41
Speaker
They're very detached.
00:53:42
Speaker
What you're describing to me is like, it's totally alien.
00:53:45
Speaker
I have no idea what that would be like.
00:53:47
Speaker
Yes, an Aquarian is a person who is not afraid to stand alone.
00:53:50
Speaker
And sometimes that is a good thing.
00:53:51
Speaker
And sometimes that results in I am going to be polyamorous because people are like, you know, I'm trying to stand away from other people.
00:53:58
Speaker
I don't want to conform to society's expectations of monogamy.
00:54:01
Speaker
And I don't want to do what everyone else is doing.
00:54:03
Speaker
I just want to be my own person.
00:54:05
Speaker
And it's like, yes, being your own person sometimes is still conforming to what other people expect.
00:54:08
Speaker
Well, I was gonna say, you know, conforming, like, you know, if you if you don't want to, you're still conforming to certain expectations.
00:54:16
Speaker
Yeah.
00:54:16
Speaker
Yes.
00:54:17
Speaker
I mean, you're still conforming to catering to a man first, because I've never seen a polyamorous situation in which all the women are not catering to one man, you know?
00:54:24
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:54:25
Speaker
In fact, you're submitting to the most traditional patriarchal structure by that metric, because polygamy is something that exists in a lot of societies, and that basically meant that there was a bunch of emotional labor being done by four or five different women for one man.
00:54:38
Speaker
So if anything, you're way more traditional than a person who's doing monogamy.
00:54:41
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:54:42
Speaker
Hear that, Aquarius?
00:54:44
Speaker
Who are you trying to kid?
00:54:46
Speaker
Yeah, you're you're being traditional by conforming to these.
00:54:50
Speaker
Like, that's the thing, right?
00:54:51
Speaker
It's so funny.
00:54:52
Speaker
My cousin has this expression.
00:54:53
Speaker
She's like, you can't be so open minded that your brains fall out.
00:55:00
Speaker
And it's so true, because it's like, you can be open minded, the point of being foolish.
00:55:04
Speaker
Right.
00:55:05
Speaker
Because you it's like you it's like that.
00:55:07
Speaker
What is it?
00:55:07
Speaker
The bell curve of the politics or whatever.
00:55:10
Speaker
It's like the circle.
00:55:11
Speaker
What is it?
00:55:11
Speaker
The shoehorn theory or whatever, where it's like you turn so far left, you wind up back.
00:55:16
Speaker
Right.
00:55:17
Speaker
Yes.
00:55:18
Speaker
That's that's what this is.
00:55:19
Speaker
It's like I'm trying to not conform and be so modern.
00:55:22
Speaker
I wind up with something even more traditional than the thing that I should have just seen.
00:55:27
Speaker
Yeah, that's a very dangerous reality of what can happen.
00:55:31
Speaker
But you know what?
00:55:32
Speaker
They're great.
00:55:32
Speaker
They're great conversationalists.
00:55:34
Speaker
They're not repetitive.
00:55:35
Speaker
They're very easygoing.
00:55:36
Speaker
They're very unfussy.
00:55:37
Speaker
There's like a lot of good things about them.
00:55:39
Speaker
But I think that, again, they should be careful with like not being... Sometimes they should... Sometimes it's okay to just be a bitch, okay?
00:55:45
Speaker
I want to say this to everyone, not just Aquarius.
00:55:47
Speaker
But sometimes it's okay to be like, I

Astrology's Role in Self-Understanding

00:55:49
Speaker
just want things done a specific way.
00:55:50
Speaker
Learn from Virgo.
00:55:51
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:55:52
Speaker
It's okay to say, I just want to do things a specific way and men just have to put up with it.
00:55:56
Speaker
That's right.
00:55:57
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:55:58
Speaker
They just have to put up with it.
00:55:59
Speaker
And I don't know too many Aquarian women, but like the two Aquarian women I know, one of them married really well.
00:56:05
Speaker
She walked out of her marriage the second that he started switching up on her.
00:56:08
Speaker
And this is an aunt of mine, but basically she was in an abusive relationship.
00:56:12
Speaker
And like the first time he hit her, she walked away from that relationship.
00:56:14
Speaker
And she had kids.
00:56:15
Speaker
So it was really hard.
00:56:16
Speaker
And she had to give up the kids too, because her husband was way richer than she was.
00:56:20
Speaker
And she didn't have money at that time.
00:56:21
Speaker
So again, be practical, Aquarius.
00:56:23
Speaker
Again, a lot of air signs struggle with practicality the way that the earth signs don't.
00:56:28
Speaker
And so, yeah, practicality is important.
00:56:30
Speaker
She left.
00:56:30
Speaker
She wound up with a much better partner.
00:56:32
Speaker
She's an Aquarius.
00:56:32
Speaker
I don't know what her old partner was, but her new one is Aries, and they're a very good match.
00:56:37
Speaker
um because he's got the same sense of adventure as her and he also like aries are also like very non-conformist kind of signs like they also want to do things in a new way they're very spontaneous and i think that aquarians really like that spontaneity you know like aries is not who i would recommend for somebody like a capricorn who wants somebody serious you know what i mean somebody like who's going to be practical and and like nurturing like
00:56:57
Speaker
Aries is like, let's go do things.
00:56:59
Speaker
Let's see the world, you know?
00:57:00
Speaker
And like the two of them, they've traveled everywhere and done everything.
00:57:03
Speaker
Like they're much older, like in their sixties or something now.
00:57:06
Speaker
So very, very good match.
00:57:07
Speaker
And I think that again, she had a strong, like I said, Aquarians don't struggle with having a sense of self.
00:57:13
Speaker
You know, it's just, it is very, like, they will never stray from their convictions and their values.
00:57:18
Speaker
They are passionate about being around people that think like them.
00:57:21
Speaker
It's just that there's not that many people that think like them.
00:57:23
Speaker
So they have to be careful not to affiliate themselves with people who will bring them down.
00:57:28
Speaker
You know, I think in her situation, she did the right FDS move.
00:57:31
Speaker
She picked up and she left and she found a partner that will treat her a lot better.
00:57:35
Speaker
I've also seen a situation with an Aquarius old friend of mine who I'm not friends with anymore, but where she basically...
00:57:42
Speaker
even in college, shared her bank account with her boyfriend.
00:57:47
Speaker
Never do that, ladies.
00:57:48
Speaker
And he used to file all of her taxes for her.
00:57:50
Speaker
And like, then when they broke up, it was very messy.
00:57:52
Speaker
Oh, shit.
00:57:53
Speaker
And I was like, you're not a couple.
00:57:54
Speaker
So this you're not like a married couple.
00:57:56
Speaker
So this was very impractical, you know, but again, it was like, oh, I don't want to conform.
00:58:00
Speaker
It's like totally fine.
00:58:01
Speaker
It's like, yes, conventional wisdom exists for a reason.
00:58:04
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:58:05
Speaker
It's not, you know, you don't have to do things just to be a rebel.
00:58:09
Speaker
You know, sometimes, you know, sometimes there is a time when being a rebel will work against you.
00:58:14
Speaker
Don't be a rebel without a cause.
00:58:17
Speaker
That's right.
00:58:18
Speaker
Right.
00:58:18
Speaker
Be a rebel for a rightful cause.
00:58:20
Speaker
Don't be a rebel just for the sake of being a rebel.
00:58:22
Speaker
That's how you get stuck in a situation where you share a Bank of America account with a guy who is definitely not doing your taxes for you.
00:58:28
Speaker
So don't do that.
00:58:30
Speaker
Don't do that.
00:58:31
Speaker
And then you leave college and you move to New York and he stays in Iowa and you're screwed.
00:58:37
Speaker
Oh, my gosh, Diana, what a nightmare scenario.
00:58:40
Speaker
OK, so that that is our Aquarius.
00:58:42
Speaker
At this point, we're going to be having to wrap it up shortly.
00:58:45
Speaker
What else do we have to discuss or go over?
00:58:48
Speaker
That's it.
00:58:48
Speaker
Those are the six signs.
00:58:49
Speaker
This is part two.
00:58:51
Speaker
Definitely very different energy from the first half of the Zodiac.
00:58:54
Speaker
But like every sign, as you've noticed, has an upside and a downside.
00:58:57
Speaker
And very often the thing that is the upside is the downside.

Like too much freedom can be very flaky.
00:59:04
Speaker
Too much rigidity can be very stubborn.
00:59:07
Speaker
You know what I mean?
00:59:07
Speaker
So learning about too much ego can be blind.
00:59:11
Speaker
Like, I mean, you know what?
00:59:12
Speaker
For a very long time, I always thought I'd be very susceptible to love bombing because I was like, who wouldn't fall in love with me right away?
00:59:17
Speaker
You know, so very Leo energy in that regard.
00:59:20
Speaker
I was like, that makes total sense.
00:59:22
Speaker
I understand why you're so obsessed with me right away.
00:59:25
Speaker
And so I was like, oh, I'm going to be very susceptible to love bombing because it's just so believable to me that somebody would be so madly in love with me immediately.
00:59:31
Speaker
I love this energy.
00:59:32
Speaker
This is such great energy.
00:59:34
Speaker
Again, good to have a good sense of self-love.
00:59:36
Speaker
Bad to be DeLulu about other people's attention.
00:59:39
Speaker
Yeah.
00:59:41
Speaker
balanced, dear listeners.
00:59:43
Speaker
That's what we have to learn from all of these signs of the Aquarius.
00:59:47
Speaker
You must embrace your good qualities, but also understand when they become liabilities.
00:59:51
Speaker
That is the overall overarching message for every single one of these signs is just, you know, you have amazing strengths, and your planets will help you in different ways.
01:00:02
Speaker
But at the end of the day, what really matters is using your gifts for ways that benefit you.
01:00:07
Speaker
And I think with every sign, they have a blind spot that can allow shit-scrope men to enter their lives.
01:00:13
Speaker
And just know that there is no zodiac sign for men that makes them a good person, okay?
01:00:17
Speaker
Every single zodiac man I've met is shit.
01:00:19
Speaker
So, you know, Sagittarius women, great.
01:00:22
Speaker
Sagittarius men, nightmares.
01:00:24
Speaker
Leo men, oh my God.
01:00:25
Speaker
Power struggle through and through.
01:00:27
Speaker
Pisces men, very likely to marry you within two months of knowing you and then leaving you with debt.
01:00:31
Speaker
Be careful with every single zodiac sign.
01:00:33
Speaker
It does not matter if he's a Taurus or he's a Gemini.
01:00:37
Speaker
I don't care.
01:00:38
Speaker
You know what I mean?
01:00:39
Speaker
They've all been cultured, you know, in the culture of patriarchy.
01:00:43
Speaker
So we're always going to be dealing with sort of the extremes of those ends, right?
01:00:46
Speaker
Because when are they ever... They're all ruled by planet Skrote.
01:00:50
Speaker
And planet Skrote does not discriminate.
01:00:51
Speaker
Yeah.
01:00:53
Speaker
We don't truck with planets.
01:00:55
Speaker
Amazing, Diana.
01:00:56
Speaker
I can't believe what a font of knowledge and wisdom you are when it comes to this.
01:00:59
Speaker
It's so fascinating to hear somebody who has just clearly been immersed in this for so many years and just has really sort of had almost like an encyclopedic memory of all of the friends and people you've met and their characters based off of their science.
01:01:14
Speaker
I think that's just so interesting to listen to.
01:01:16
Speaker
Oh, yeah.
01:01:16
Speaker
It's always fun in retrospect and in hindsight, because I definitely feel like my interest in astrology in general came more from my interest in Greek mythology.
01:01:28
Speaker
And I think that it helps explain why human beings have looked at this as a sign of guiding them for so many centuries.
01:01:34
Speaker
You know what I mean?

Conclusion and Reflections on Zodiac Signs

01:01:35
Speaker
millennia.
01:01:36
Speaker
Yeah, millennia.
01:01:37
Speaker
It's one of the oldest professions really to like look at astrology.
01:01:40
Speaker
But again, I'm not saying this, that you must do this and like you must wake up every morning and check your horoscope before you do things.
01:01:46
Speaker
I'm saying it more as a look at this and think about your own gifts and think about what you succeed in and what take what resonates with you.
01:01:53
Speaker
Because again, your sun sign is not all that makes up your personality.
01:01:56
Speaker
You got all these other placements at other houses.
01:01:58
Speaker
Like I'm a Libra too.
01:01:59
Speaker
I'm a Virgo too.
01:02:00
Speaker
I have a Virgo rising.
01:02:01
Speaker
You know what I mean?
01:02:01
Speaker
Like I have a bit of everything.
01:02:03
Speaker
So do you, you know, so I believe you have a Gemini moon or something.
01:02:07
Speaker
You have Gemini rising.
01:02:08
Speaker
I remember you have a Gemini placement.
01:02:09
Speaker
So yeah, you're you are very good at communicating because obviously you have that in your chart as well.
01:02:14
Speaker
And I mean, you're pricies too.
01:02:15
Speaker
You have all the planets of good communication.
01:02:17
Speaker
So you know, it's not like it's not a surprise to me at all.
01:02:20
Speaker
Not a surprise to me at all that you're good
01:02:21
Speaker
at this.
01:02:22
Speaker
But like, look at everything that embraces you and then be like, what are your strengths?
01:02:25
Speaker
And like, really be honest.
01:02:27
Speaker
I think people lack honesty with their flaws.
01:02:30
Speaker
You must be ruthless with your flaws as well so that you can minimize for error and so that you don't end up in situations with terrible people.
01:02:38
Speaker
And that's our show for today.
01:02:40
Speaker
Diana, I'm so pleased and so proud of you.
01:02:44
Speaker
What a masterclass you've given us all.
01:02:46
Speaker
Ah, thank you.
01:02:47
Speaker
I think it was fun.
01:02:48
Speaker
It was so fun.
01:02:49
Speaker
I really enjoyed it.
01:02:51
Speaker
Yeah, but I hope that everybody has a really good holiday season.
01:02:55
Speaker
As I said, we wanted to keep it super light.
01:02:57
Speaker
And yes, and as usual, Scroats, this was not for you.
01:03:01
Speaker
I don't care what placement you are.
01:03:02
Speaker
I don't care what sign you are.
01:03:03
Speaker
You're Scroats.
01:03:03
Speaker
It doesn't matter.
01:03:04
Speaker
Die mad.
01:03:05
Speaker
Planet's Grow tells you to die mad.
01:03:07
Speaker
The end.
01:03:09
Speaker
Thanks, everybody.
