Shedding + Rising | Awakening The New Era of Estheticians and Beauty Pros

Some years tear you open so you can finally see yourself clearly.
This was that year.

The Snake and the 9 Year peeled back layers that were never meant to come with us — the roles we outgrew, the identities we performed, the survival strategies that no longer protected us. Estheticians everywhere felt the shedding: the unraveling of old business models, the collapse of burnout culture, the deep return to truth.

And now… the rising begins.

As we step into the Horse and the 1 Year, a new era of estheticians is awakening.
An era driven by authenticity, instinct, aligned momentum, and embodied leadership.
An era where we stop performing and start becoming.
An era where we rise not from pressure, but from purpose.

In this powerful reflection episode, Jess and Tiffanie explore the collective transformation happening within the beauty industry — and the personal shifts they experienced along the way.

If you’ve felt yourself shedding, awakening, or stepping into a version of yourself you barely recognize… this episode will meet you right where you are.

A new era of estheticians is here.
And you’re part of it.

00:00:43
Speaker
My name is Jessica Peterson and happy anniversary to your anniversary. Happy anniversary Beyond Aesthetics podcast. Who would have thunk?
00:00:55
Speaker
That for one of that, it's been two years that we've been recording podcasts and for also that we're just for what it's grown into and the community that it's, that it's built.
00:01:10
Speaker
I'm just in awe. I am too. No, definitely. And we were together last week and I'm still a little sad. i like have a little grief over it because that trip was so fast. And,

Magic of Physical Presence and Humble Beginnings

00:01:22
Speaker
um one of the first things I said to Tiffany was, I mean, we did our training, we did our eminence training, and then we went into her office and my immediate first thought is I need to come back. You know, I want to come back. I want to spend more time.
00:01:36
Speaker
It is magical being in person, you know, and like you said, it's, we talk every single day. We're in constant communication, but there's just something different about being in person with you. And I would love to just, I don't know, sit in like batch record and create content and,
00:01:53
Speaker
and be together in person is just so wonderful. So hopefully, you know, I can schedule some time to to come back and and spend time. And it was really funny because we were in her office where two years ago, she had kind of just moved into her office. And I literally was only there to record a podcast. I had just decided to take this detour on my way to North Idaho.
00:02:20
Speaker
Tiffany is more like for me from Boise to go to North Idaho. It's just a direct shot North, but i can take a detour, which is really ah six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, like a 12 hour detour. Yeah. It's not a short detour. It's not a short detour and because Idaho is so big, but it's so worth it. And the drive is so beautiful. Like it's just that 12 hours is actually very sacred to me.
00:02:48
Speaker
And I love it. And so I was like, hey, um I'm going to take this detour if you're available and we're going to record our first episode together in her new office. And we literally sat on the floor and we propped the laptop up on boxes. i couldn't find the picture this morning. We're going to have to look. that and post it. And it might even still be on our social media page at the very, very beginning. But I love that that's how we started. And it's so what um us to just go for it and do it and not have anything figured out and just have us sitting on the floor and the laptops on the box. And we just went for it. And then, you know, here we are two years later.

Reflecting on Growth and Holiday Intentions

00:03:32
Speaker
And I just think it's really, um,
00:03:35
Speaker
beautiful what we've built and what we've created and what we are working on building now because of that and how things have transpired in the world and in our industry and our community and our our coaching and our mastermind and everything has just grown probably, i don't even want to say that it's grown beyond what we imagine I actually think it's exactly what we imagined. Yeah, same. i actually think that it's right on fire. Exactly. And um it's funny because it's just like, i don't know. I think that's just the essence of it it. It's grown from what we had in our heart that we didn't really maybe have words for. We didn't really know how to describe what it was that we were doing right in the very beginning. But it's exactly how I envisioned being here two years later from those very primitive moments. humble beginnings. Um, and yeah, I'm just so grateful. And i agree like last week wasn't enough time with you. And, um, it was like a fly by night actually meeting, even though we had like barely even five hours together, but, um, yeah, I'm excited to, I'm excited for our conversation today. I'm excited for, um
00:04:50
Speaker
kind of wrapping this year up and setting some intentions for the year ahead and what's ahead for all of us and just bringing that to bringing that to this platform.
00:05:03
Speaker
You know, we are summer girlies. And at the same time, I think that this is our favorite time of year. Also, it just in such a different way. It's so cozy. And we both go into such a state of reflection and just love and family and peace. and And then thinking about, you know, the year ahead and setting those intentions and and making those plans. And i just love it.
00:05:30
Speaker
I just love it so much. I love it more this year than I ever have. I'm really embracing this this season. Usually i'm ah I'm pretty resistant towards it. I'll, I'll eventually settle into it, but it's usually like at the tail end when I'm like almost through it this year. I, from the, before it even started, I was just like here for it and I'm very present and I'm just really embracing everything about it. I'm just, I love it.
00:05:58
Speaker
What's your favorite Christmas song? Please Come Home for Christmas by the Eagles. What? Yes. I love that song so much. What is yours?
00:06:10
Speaker
You know what my favorite is? So, cause we asked this in our mastermind yesterday. I was like, everybody tell us your favorite Christmas song. And I ask everybody in trainings. I'm like, tell me your favorite song. And then tell me your favorite product. Cause I love Christmas. Like I love movies. I love the the songs and everything. And I love knowing what people's favorite Christmas songs are. And you know, want to know what my favorite is that's actually been stuck in my head is just the Polar Express theme.
00:06:35
Speaker
Oh, yeah. It's so magical to me, but I grew up listening to the Polar Express and reading it my into entire life. So when that was turned into a movie, it was just so magical to me. And I still, I watch it a couple times per year. I usually watch it on Christmas Eve. and um And so, yeah, like that song makes me cry every single time. But like, I love all Christmas music. Like I love Dominic the donkey, for goodness sake. I love, i just love everything holidays. I love everything Christmas. But yeah, that one is like,
00:07:04
Speaker
and Definitely the most moving one to me. And to me, Christmas is just such a ah sacred energy, a sacred energy. And I just love to lean into that and embrace it. And I have recently felt like starting last week when I was with you, I i feel like my heart is just going to explode. I feel so much love.
00:07:27
Speaker
Yes. For like everything and everybody, you know, like everybody that I work with in every capacity and just everything that I'm doing, I just feel so much a love. But I do think that that is just so reminiscent of the season around Christmas too.
00:07:41
Speaker
Absolutely. and it like with the polar express, when you said like, it's so magical, this time of year is so magical. And, and it has me thinking like my kids are, my oldest is 12. Right. And so he's like, we haven't had that conversation, but he just like, looks at me like, i okay, mom, Santa, you know? and but I like, don't feel like I'm actually lying when I say there is magic in Christmas. There's just an, ah deep, powerful, very spiritual magic that comes. And I think that is the essence of Santa and that is the essence of Christ. And that is, you know, just this time of year, it just has us all in our fields. And I am the same way. I just feel so grateful and so full of love and light and,
00:08:29
Speaker
Um, I think as I've been doing my reflection and looking ahead with intention, I'm just like, man, pinch me, freaking pinch me. Am I really here right now? And then

Community, Rest, and Personal Connections

00:08:39
Speaker
like, it's been two years doing this podcast, like, holy cow, we've built this amazing community and we have people and listeners that still choose to show up for what we have to say. And that's just so freaking cool. And I'm just so grateful yeah for all of it.
00:08:55
Speaker
Me too. Me too. just kind of sappy right now. We are, but I'm so like, I'm so here for it. I'm wearing my favorite cozy Christmas sweater and everything. It's just like so leaning into it and loving it so much. um I do also want to recognize that the holidays can be difficult for a lot of people. Absolutely. you know And so I just want everybody who, and myself included, I actually am going through a lot of grief right now. So I just want everybody listening to know that we also recognize that the holidays can bring a sense of grief for many different reasons. Yes. Many, many different reasons. And so that that definitely doesn't go unnoticed or like, you know, unhonored instead, ah ah unhonored basically. um
00:09:40
Speaker
You know, so I just feel like I want to throw that in here too. As magical and beautiful and as much love as there is, there's a lot of, ah you know, hard times around the holidays too. And that is okay as well. Absolutely. And you're definitely not.
00:09:54
Speaker
alone in that either. So it's a beautiful time. It can be a hard time, you know, but, but I do like to just lean into and embrace all the beauty and the love and the magic of Christmas. And while still honoring that there are some, some difficulties in that too.
00:10:08
Speaker
Absolutely. I'm so glad that you brought that up. And I think too, like if when we are in a hard time or if you are going through a hard time, um this time of year, yes, can bring all of that to the surface. and there can be such little slivers of hope and love and light and like actually carry you through that hard time, you know know? And so I'm really glad that you brought that up. So, because it's, it's that valid.
00:10:36
Speaker
Yeah, definitely. um is there anything else going on with you that we want to talk about that you want to share? Anything in business? Like how's the team? How's anything? The team is great. We had our first girls night on Sunday, which was so fun. um It was...
00:10:56
Speaker
Like, I think it was Delaney's idea. And she was like, we should just get together because we had our team meeting on Friday. We meet as a team every month and we just check, do our check-in, go over, you know, our planning and everything, everything a team meeting is. And then she's like, we should really get together and actually talk about like end of year stuff and our intentions and just...
00:11:16
Speaker
I'll make some food and you guys can come over to my house. And I was like, that sounds fun. Yes, let's do that. And so it worked out perfectly. We went over to her house on Sunday and it was so fun. And she made it amazing food and Paisley brought some food and Meg brought her little boy Vinny. And we just hung out. I brought my tarot cards and some intention cards. And so I pulled cards for everybody, which I'm not like, that's actually the first time I've ever pulled cards for somebody else.
00:11:43
Speaker
So that was really fun. And um it was really nice to get together outside of work, even though our team meetings are pretty, um non-formal anyways, and just be on like a very more personal level, you know? So, um, that was just really fun. And I've just been kind of writing that high the last couple of days and, um, yeah. And then also our, um, we, you know, that I'm doing the esthetician apprenticeship program and I've got, um, my apprentice we're starting in towards the end of January, And, um, so I'm really excited for that. So I've been pouring a lot of time and energy into all of that coursework and getting and approved through the state and it was approved through the state. And so that was really exciting. And, um, so yeah, that's just kind of where I'm at. lots Lots going on, lots of irons in the fire, all wonderful things. Um, but like kind of a lot of moving parts. Yeah.
00:12:47
Speaker
You know? Yeah. You wear a lot of, a lot of hats and I really admire how well you handle it. Yeah. I'm also really looking forward though, to having time off with my family. That's actually where my, my heart is at right now. I'm like, okay, I have all these things going and I'm prioritizing what needs to be done before I step out for the holidays. Cause I'm taking the last two weeks of December off or actually the last week I'm taking the week of Christmas off and then through the new year. And then, um, just also being okay with,
00:13:18
Speaker
where I end things. And that again, like we talked about in the mastermind yesterday, that nothing is an emergency and that it will be there. And, um, it'll be there when I get back. And so I'm really looking forward to just being very intentionally having some time with myself and my family and pouring into us and knowing that my businesses are, will be just fine without me as I step away.
00:13:43
Speaker
One thing that you said in the mastermind as well, and we've really been talking about this for the last few weeks of as people are gearing up for the holidays, is that your business, I mean, we both believe that your business has a heartbeat. It has a soul. It's its own energy. And it is an extension of you. And it needs to rest sometimes just as much as you need to rest. And so, you know, if you can go into it with that sort of an energy of like, I'm just going to talk this in bed and like cozy it up and let it just take a little snooze and rest and regenerate as I rest and regenerate. That's such a beautiful way to think about that.
00:14:23
Speaker
Yeah. And I wholeheartedly believe that. And, you know, it's, and it actually, this came up with one of our mastermind group members yeah yesterday where she was like, you know, considering doing the 12 days of Christmas and kind of like, um, staying in that end of your race, because we have all of this noise out there from all of these companies, you know, not just the aesthetics industry or but business or beauty industry and feeling like you're like, kind of have to keep up and be part of this race. And we were like, actually no And I just feel the same way. Cause we've, cause that sweet cheeks, we've been doing a lot. We had an event in October. We had two events in November.
00:15:02
Speaker
or yeah, in November one in December, anyways, we've been doing a lot and it is easy to really look at everybody else and think like, oh, if I do take a break or if I do just let this rest, then, you know, what if, and kind of go into that scarcity fear mindset, but it actually couldn't be further from the truth. Like, like you just said, your business does need to rest. And when you can let it rest with a deep knowing that,
00:15:31
Speaker
It will actually serve you and the business and your clients so much deeper and that there's like, there's nothing to lose, right? You're actually, it's like the tortoise and the hare, you know, slow and steady wins the race. And that is part of rest.
00:15:49
Speaker
Yeah. Yeah, but it's so true. It's so true. I love that. And I love giving people that permission slip to just set it aside sometimes. And there's nothing wrong with that. It's it's it's for it's good. you know like it it will definitely serve you to just set it aside.
00:16:03
Speaker
What about you? Where are you at? Oh, man, my month is busier than I would like it to be as far as travel goes. And you know it's work travel. It's family travel. Yeah.
00:16:15
Speaker
Um, so I'm traveling every week this month for little sports of time. And at the same time, I'm really leaning into that, you know, even if it is for work, I'm just feeling so much love and appreciation for my spa partners that I'm like, it's okay to be, you know, away for a few nights because I, I'm just literally dying to spend time with them. Like, I'm just so excited, ah to, to be with them. And so it's like this mix of, um,
00:16:44
Speaker
I would like to be home cozy with my kitties and with my Christmas decor and like watching movies and all of that. But on the flip side of that, I'm feeling so much love for, you know, what I'm doing right now and where I'm at in my work life. And I do want to go experience that and share that. And so it's just, um, I feel like I'm just balancing between those two energies. And then when I am at home, just making sure that I am very present, you know, and,
00:17:13
Speaker
And taking time to like have a longer morning routine or just making sure the kitties are taken care of and that my home is feeling really good. and Like, you know, I've been working on house projects and um and stuff like that. And so i I'm in such a good place. I think even with the travel, I'm just feeling like I'm in the best place that I've been in in so long. And so I'm like, it's all it's all good. Even with the travel, it isn't it just hasn't felt like super chaotic. But you know I've been practicing presence.
00:17:49
Speaker
okay And well I don't even know if I've had to practice it. I mean, every once a while, I'll have to check myself But I think I'm just in a place of presence and really soaking everything in and slowing down. And that's

Slowing Down and Embracing Flow

00:18:01
Speaker
something that we've been talking about. And I'm sure it will come up as we record this episode. But like I cannot tell people enough how important it is to just chill the f out.
00:18:14
Speaker
You know, and this has been coming up for both of us over the last couple of months. And we're like, you really can bend time. ah you can just slow the heck down, mike pay attention and take some deep breaths and just be really, really present. And I think that that just changes everything. Like you saw, I left Coeur d'Alene early.
00:18:38
Speaker
Yeah. Which was in, that's insane for me to do. The only other time I've done that was when my brother was having um brain surgery, right? Yes. Other than that, like you will never see me leave Coeur d'Alene early. That's not a thing. It's my favorite place in the world. I had the best hotel room. It was like so cozy. And my holiday trip up north is one of my favorite trips of the year. But I just was like, man,
00:19:06
Speaker
This trip has been awesome. I've done everything. I've soaked everything up. And now I feel like I want to go home.
00:19:16
Speaker
And I just had like so much peace in that, that I was like, you know what? I'm traveling all month. This trip has been amazing. And I did everything that I wanted to do. And I can't wait to just enjoy this drive home and listen to a really good Christmas book and then yeah be home. And that's going to be wonderful. And so i was thinking about it and I was like, you know what? I think it is just that I've slowed down and I'm so present and everything to me lately is feeling so juicy and delicious. Not everything. There's certainly, but for the most part, everything in life when you're present, it feels so much more delicious and so much more juicy because you're just noticing the the true beauty in everything because you are being so present. And so you don't feel like you're missing out on anything or you're rushing or you're not doing the things that you wanted to do or you're feeling disappointed about certain things. It's just, it's really hard to put it into words, but slow the heck down and chill the F out right in your daily everything, right? So like basically...
00:20:23
Speaker
What I was trying to explain in words without talking on my story, but I had made a post, I'm really talking about filling up your water at the fridge.
00:20:37
Speaker
I'm talking about like getting ready in the morning and just lighting a candle while you are doing it. Or when you're laying in bed at night, but can pay attention to is your breathing really shallow?
00:20:48
Speaker
Or do we need to like take some deep breaths right now? When we're in traffic, are you rushing for some reason? or can you just like enjoy being in the car? Enjoy the weather for whatever it is. Are you enjoying what you're listening to?
00:21:05
Speaker
Are you paying attention to how your car is like smelling? Like I have Pura fragrances in my car. Like I've, I just think that slowing down and being present and paying attention, like stop rushing, take a deep breath and, and notice your movements and notice your presence. Yeah.
00:21:24
Speaker
is going to make your life feel so much juicier and like you can just spend time. In fact, last night I was, i waited until the very last minute to pack for my trip. I'm leaving today. There's so much that goes into me getting ready for a trip and it can be very stressful, but I had to keep just coming back to the present and saying, tell hell out.
00:21:45
Speaker
Yeah. Slow down. You're actually not going to be done any faster because you're rushing through it. And if you're rushing through it, you're just feeling chaotic and you are going to miss something. Yeah. And if you can just slow down and be present and enjoy it, you'll probably still end at the same time that you would have if you are rushing and you can be more confident that everything was done correctly.
00:22:08
Speaker
True. you know? And so I just really encourage people to slow down and just be more present and your life is going to feel so much more juicy and delicious and your anxiousness and your nervous system. Like just let that come down.
00:22:26
Speaker
It's really beautiful. it actually like stimulates your appetite for life, i think. yeah And when you, we can take our, when we can consciously take ourselves off of autopilot, cause we've all been there. We're, we're just like, we do our morning routine. We get to work because we have to like get there. We got to get to, to what the task is. That's like maybe weighing on us. Right. And then we're like, man,
00:22:49
Speaker
I don't know. Did I, did I turn off the coffee pot? Did I unplug my straightener? Did i did I even have like, look my kids in the eye this morning or was I just doing the motions, you know? And then you're just like, man months can go by and you're like, I'm going to be,
00:23:07
Speaker
40 this year. Did I enjoy 39? I don't know. Where did this last year go? And it really is. And it comes back to that timeline and how we can bend time and really shift time. And the point is, is really to enjoy the experience of this life. And just like you're talking about, even the mundane things like filling up your water at the, at the fridge and like letting your cup fill up with ice. And we can all get a little bit impatient about how long it takes, but really like, are we enjoying being in our body? Are we enjoying being home? Are we enjoying spending time with our family? Are we enjoying the things that really make us who we are are. we looking up at the skyline? That's something I remind myself to do a lot. Like look up. I'm ah so like hyper-focused when I'm out on a walk or when I'm driving, I'm like, look up, look at these beautiful mountains that you live around, look at the sunrise. And it really is. I think going back to that gratitude part, that really does stimulate everything when we can be really grateful and thankful and
00:24:06
Speaker
and intentionally give thanks consistently, that really opens our eyes and our senses to our surroundings and helps us slow down and helps us be in it.
00:24:17
Speaker
No, I could not agree more with that. I love that. Thank you. Yeah. Thank you. Yeah. That's so beautiful So that's where I'm at. I mean, even though I feel like I'm busier, you know, than I have been in a really long time, it feels like flow. And it was really our friend, Stacy, that opened my eyes to that. We had a meeting with our friend, Stacy recently. It's been a couple of months, but I know she won't mind us saying this, but we were having the discussion of like what success means to her. And she actually used the word flow. And I was like, yeah.
00:24:52
Speaker
okay, wait a second. I love that. And ever since she said that, I was like, you know what? That's what I want, you know, because I am such a chronically overwhelmed person that I had to shift my identity and shift a lot of things about myself to get into a place where when I'm sitting down and you know this, cause I've talked to you about this recently, I can sit down and do tasks with flow and love. Mm-hmm. Just by shifting my energy and slowing down and being present and just letting things happen without force.
00:25:29
Speaker
Yes. There's such a...
00:25:35
Speaker
It's, and it really does come back to, I think our mindset around it, because there's such a difference when we're trying to force something to work. We're trying to force through ourselves, through the task we're trying to make ends meet essentially versus just allowing the surrender and having the faith And the discipline or devotion to do the things, but with ease, there's just such a difference. I think flow is like a is a self-chosen virtue and just, yeah, I've been into like thinking about virtues. a lot lately. I'm sorry. What? Yeah. way more
00:26:15
Speaker
Well, I've always said, and I don't even know where this came from. Cause I know it wasn't my parents. I don't know. I don't know. I've always said like patience is a virtue. And then Ryan would always say, explain a virtue. And for the longest time, I'm like, I don't know.
00:26:28
Speaker
she Something you're you're blessed with. And, but I, but I believe that it's just like a um, like a self-chosen,
00:26:40
Speaker
maybe a calling or a blessing or however you want to describe a virtue. I'm sure there's a very more descriptive, um, description that we can find, but I do feel like it's self-chosen just like peace is self-chosen and patience is self-chosen, but they can be virtuous. We can, and I think it's just like this higher, higher calling to be virtuous.
00:27:04
Speaker
Are you looking it up? I hope you are. Well, I am. And of course, I want to put our own spin on this. um
00:27:13
Speaker
Virtue. Virtue is the quiet, powerful force within a beauty professional who leads with integrity, intention, and love. It's the energy that shapes how we show up for... Well, this is talking about aesthetics, of course, but it's it's how we show up for life. So virtue is aligning who we are with how we function.
00:27:36
Speaker
Oh.
00:27:39
Speaker
Okay. Yeah. That tracks. And there's probably so many different ways that you could describe a virtue, but it's things like courage, excellence rooted in love, devotion, heart-centered service, energetic cleanliness, integrity.
00:27:57
Speaker
Those are virtues.
00:28:01
Speaker
I love it. i think we're all, i think it's everyone ah is virtuous and can be. i think it is chosen and it, and just like that says it's our own, um, how we choose to show up who we choose to be when we, um, really rise to,
00:28:25
Speaker
but with our actions, with who we say we are, you know? Well, here's the basic definition. Virtue is a behavior showing high moral standard, quality considered morally good or desirable. In simpler terms, virtue is choosing to do what is right, good, and ethical consistently and acting with integrity. Yeah. Yeah.
00:28:47
Speaker
I think we're missing virtue in our world. We do too. Okay. We're going to start ushering in more virtue. Which I think we have been. We maybe just haven't put a name to it. Yeah. That feels so good to me. And I really want to like sit in that.
00:29:05
Speaker
I need to think about that on a walk. Yeah. it's Let that

Evolution of the Aesthetic Industry

00:29:09
Speaker
process. Let that process. It's just a word I haven't heard for so long. I love it. I love it so much. Thank you. Yeah. Okay. I am literally beyond excited to record this episode today. um I'm gonna give you guys the background of today's episode. We were supposed to record with someone we are overjoyed and honored to host on our podcast soon.
00:29:36
Speaker
And um so we were supposed to be recording with her this morning and then the the week kept going by and she hadn't gotten back to us as we were working on our outline together.
00:29:48
Speaker
And Sunday rolled around and I was like, oh, I haven't heard from her. I'm feeling a little bit concerned. Let me reach out. You know, at the same time I had been working on and I think I had mentioned this previously that we were going to be recording our end of year episodes just as individuals. And that's what we were planning. I was going to do mine over the weekend.
00:30:07
Speaker
And then I sat down to work on just the outline for that episode last week and what I came up with, I couldn't do without Tiffany. And so I was also just at a crossroads thinking like, this is going to be such a powerful episode and I could do it by myself, but I don't want to with the structure that we were looking for. And then the way that, um, it all came together. I was like, man, no,
00:30:30
Speaker
this This doesn't feel right for me to do it by myself, but with our scheduling, because Tiffany's taking time off, I was like, I don't know. i don't really know what to do at this point. And so then I reached out to our guest on Sunday and she told me she was sick and she needed to reschedule. And so of course I sent her healing vibes and and so much love. And we truly like, I am so excited to help. We've got some awesome episodes and guests coming up. We're so excited about it. But I was like, oh, this worked out perfectly because you know now Tiffany and I can record this together. We'll be obviously publishing this episode today. So it is later. It is a little bit off schedule, but it is so worth it. And I worked really hard yesterday to get this outline exactly right to truly convey what we want to convey and what we want to bring forward. and
00:31:19
Speaker
And so that's how it all worked out. And so, of course, I think our higher selves have this all just completely worked out for us. Now, this is a theme that Tiffany and I have been obsessing over. So when we started thinking about end of year, how do we wrap up this year? Well, I was like, well, we've got to wrap it up this way. We've got to wrap it up with these themes because i sent her minimum three memes per day. Minimum. that's Just minimum. When we first started diving into this and...
00:31:53
Speaker
learning about this, it was all day long, but I'm like, read this, read this, read this. And, um, and so that this theme couldn't be more perfect. So we couldn't be more excited to bring this theme to you and tie it to yes, us personally and humanity personally, but the industry. Yeah. And and just talking about this theme with our industry, because,
00:32:18
Speaker
I've been talking about this for a while. And then her and I have been talking about this for at least a couple of weeks, kind of going back and forth about where our industry is at. And I've been having this conversation with a lot of leaders in the industry too. In fact, I've been hired to help a very prominent school bring this theme into their education. Like she wants me to head this up. And I was like, absolutely. Because I feel so passionate about this.
00:32:46
Speaker
And, um, that is that our industry is evolving and changing. And I think that what's going to happen and we'll talk about this more as we go, but I think our industry is splitting a little bit and you're either going to go one direction or you're going to kind of stay, where we're at and where we've been. and I feel called and Tiffany feels called and beyond aesthetics and sweet cheeks university. And I'm actually going to rebrand and probably even change the name of my personal coaching business because we're going in a different direction. And I've been seeing this for a while, but over the last three months, it has hit me like a brick house. I'm like, wow.
00:33:28
Speaker
Things are different. There's an old way, there's a new way. And, and then as soon as I realized that, I mean, i have just started watching the industry change. And so ah we're so excited to introduce this theme and to have this conversation with you guys today. And then of course it keeps coming up in all of our coaching too. And we're like, Oh yeah, we're, we're here for this. Like spill it. Tell us what you think, because we're so on board with this idea.
00:33:53
Speaker
Oh yeah. So on board. Okay. So we're going to go ahead and dive. This is going to a two part episode and there might be tears. Even when I was just putting this together last night, I kind of started to get a little bit emotional over it and it's going to be so powerful. So we're going to start diving into it. I highly suggest that you guys be present and that you tune in to yourself and kind of quiet your and If you're at home, grab your favorite drink and maybe sit on the couch and cozy up to this conversation. Cause it's going to be a powerful one. And it might even be one that you'll want to listen to a couple of times.
00:34:35
Speaker
Okay. So let's go ahead and dive into it. Part one, the nine year and the year of the snake.
00:34:47
Speaker
This year asked us to release more than we expected, more than we felt ready for, more than we thought we could survive.
00:34:56
Speaker
A nine year closes cycles that were never ours to carry forward. It brings truth to the surface, quietly, consistently, and with a wisdom that doesn't apologize.
00:35:08
Speaker
And then the snake arrived. The snake didn't ask us to tidy up our lives. It didn't ask us to stay pretty while we evolved. It brought us to places inside ourselves that we forgot to tend.
00:35:19
Speaker
The snake sheds without emotion, without hesitation, without second guessing the necessity of its transformation. And so did you. Maybe without realizing it, maybe without celebrating it, maybe without even meaning to.
00:35:35
Speaker
This was the year of deep internal exfoliation, the kind that removes the layers you once believed were you, the patterns, the personas, the survival strategies, the identities you built out of protection rather than truth.
00:35:51
Speaker
The nine year and the snake did not come to disrupt your life. They came to return you to yourself.
00:36:00
Speaker
And I would add that nobody got away from that. No. Actually, no. Do you know what's funny? What comes to mind though, is cause I didn't know it was the year of the snake until maybe a month ago.
00:36:16
Speaker
This, ah and I think if I had known at the beginning of the year, i would have been so resistant to it.
00:36:26
Speaker
Do you remember? Yeah.
00:36:29
Speaker
January 1st. Well, I guess I would have had this conversation with you and on the podcast when we did like our New Year's episodes. I don't even remember if we did it individually or together, but part of my New Year's ritual I go away, I go to the mountains and I do a letter to my future self. So I tune into, i kind of do like a meditation and a channeling, and then I do some automatic writing, which we can talk about in another episode, but it's basically me channeling, you know, my higher self or my, you know, my father in heaven or my guides or whoever wants to come through to guide me in that process to basically prepare me for the year ahead. Mm-hmm.
00:37:12
Speaker
I've been thinking about this a lot, but I was asked to heal and not ignore what was happening. And it was just a very, very like, you literally came here for this and you taking the time to heal is what is going to project you on your path forward and you cannot escape it. So all that, you know, you're being asked to do this year is to heal.
00:37:39
Speaker
And that is really powerful, you know? And so like... I did go into the year knowing that this is what it was going to be for me. But I think that I didn't know on the other side what was going to transpire because of it, because I just knew I was being asked not to run away from what was happening or, you know, what needed to heal. And I didn't even know what that looked like at the time. And so it is interesting once we both learned, you know, which was about the same time, we're like, oh, the year of the snake. And I just instantly remembered that experience that I had. And I was like, Yeah.
00:38:14
Speaker
I get it. Yes, this was meant to be. This was written in the stars for me this year. um But I think for a lot of people, they're probably grateful going into the year not knowing that you know what this year was going to be. It's always like you don't really want to go into a night because closing cycles and shutting and everything it is the hardest thing that you'll do in life. It's a painful process. And I, for whatever reason, which is probably just because of where we're at as, you know, humanity, um man, we just scrubbed the crap out of our insides, you know, and yeah and you couldn't escape it. And like we said, I think everybody has definitely gone through that in some forms or another this year. And it just became ah probably just a stronger experience than it's ever been before.
00:39:07
Speaker
Absolutely. And I can confidently say I'm grateful for it. Oh yeah. I had no idea what this year had in store for me. I i genuinely didn't. And i had no idea that the things that were going to transpire would and like rock me to my core and strip me away from everything that, you know, I had built around me and i so am still grateful. So grateful.
00:39:33
Speaker
Yeah, I think once you work through it and you get to the other side of it, you're like, well, I wouldn't be where I am now. And we can say that about so many things, but I think because this one was so deep, okay you know, and so transformative, and then it just kind of spit you out on the other side in a place that you've never been before where you are so much more trusting. You have so much more peace. You, you are internally transformed forever in the best way possible.
00:40:05
Speaker
So it just kind of chewed you up and spit you out. Cause that snake was like, here I come. You are not escaping me this time. So let's talk about that as far as what's going on in the industry. So where did we see estheticians, you know, our beauty professionals really shedding this year?
00:40:22
Speaker
I'll tell

Authenticity and Social Media Pressures

00:40:23
Speaker
you what I have noticed, and then I just want to hear your thoughts on this. And it's something that we started talking about last week together. But i mean, the way that we sell, and the way that we do our consultations, the way that we approach skin analysis, the way that we share on social media, we've really watched all of that shift this year into a better place than it's ever been. And what I mean by that is getting away from fear-based strategies. Yes.
00:40:49
Speaker
And you know what? I think that's something that you just have to pay attention to and understanding that there is fear and there is love. And and the way that we are approaching the way that we do things has been coming from a place of fear and control and um scarcity, scarcity and almost like encouraging people to not like themselves. Yeah.
00:41:15
Speaker
If you really think about it, you know, that is sort of what we were taught to do is like, tell me what you want to change about yourself because you're not good enough at the way that you are. and a lot of the the things in the industry and the way that we have done everything, the consults, the analysis, the way that we sell, the verbiage that we use, the the things that we post on social media has made people feel like you're not enough. And so we need to put you on this plan or, or you need to use these products or you need to do this.
00:41:41
Speaker
And, you know, I didn't ever, uh, put this together until lately, but, and I actually think it was you that told me about my retail master course, I think is everybody's first taste into yes love.
00:41:57
Speaker
I'm telling from a place of encouraging people to actually love themselves more. And you're going to have more success that way anyways. And it's going to feel really good for both of you.
00:42:08
Speaker
And, you know, now I'm starting to see the same thing about consultations, the same thing about how we're doing skin analysis, the same thing about what we're posting on social media. And so I think that we're shedding lot of that fear a lot of that. Tell me what you don't like about yourself and and demeaning yourself and thinking that you need to change. I'm watching so much of that go away. And um
00:42:36
Speaker
it's so exciting to me. And i I can watch the difference in people's demeanors too when they're having conversations certain ways. And there's a very, very stark difference between doing consults and selling from your heart, you know, versus where we're selling from, i don't know what it is, like your your head and your ego.
00:42:58
Speaker
Yeah. know There's such a different energy shift there. So how have you experienced that or noticed that? Well, I would agree. And I think it it comes from from a place of um as estheticians or beauty professionals, instead of coming from a place that I think we were all taught, like like you said, maybe pointing out their flaws or asking them what they don't like about themselves and then being that person to fix them, quote unquote. Instead, we're actually like coming in as healers,
00:43:30
Speaker
and raising the vibration, especially for women around the world. And then coming in with love and with kindness and light, and just being that source of healing for the woman themselves. We're actually just like, um, positioning ourselves as beauty professionals, as,
00:43:52
Speaker
um an accessory to their own self-worth and their own self-love and their own self-confidence. You know, we get to co-create with them and co-collaborate with them instead of just being in well. on it And it is like that difference between, like we've talked about between the masculine energy and the feminine energy and that feminine rising. I think that's part of this. And so that's really what I have seen as well.
00:44:20
Speaker
And i think it just takes everything we do as estheticians so much deeper because again, it goes back to, it's like so much more than skincare. It's so much more than just facials and waxing and brows and whatever else we're doing lashes. It's actually like we are, we are actually enhancing our clients lives on such a deep level. And then that, that co-collaboration between us and our clients,
00:44:48
Speaker
Um, is like this forever bond and the sacred bond that we get to, i don't know, i just be here for, it's just really cool. Yeah, I agree. And that was really, really perfectly, beautifully worded. That was yeah poet poetic.
00:45:05
Speaker
And the other thing is just sorry, the other thing is like burnout. We're done. So I think that a lot of us are slowing down a little bit and wanting just a high quality life overall and getting away from the burnout and practicing more presence and slowing down and taking care of our inner selves too. And also understanding.
00:45:27
Speaker
But the more that we do that, the better we can serve our clients. And so that's been a really great experience too, especially in our coaching and just being the guide and permission slip and then watching how beautifully things unfold in estheticians careers, because we are encouraging a high quality life. Again, just more of that, like feminine rising, that feminine energy, let's take care of you. Let's be present. Let's slow down. Let's look at our schedule. Let's have more harmony. And, and that's been a really good experience too.
00:46:00
Speaker
Yeah. And I think the year of the snake and the end of this nine year cycle, especially for those of us who've been in this industry for a while now, for the majority of those nine years can really attest to like, we're not moving forward with this type of lifestyle anymore. Like it's not so that we know it's not sustainable. We know in our core that,
00:46:22
Speaker
We want our, our business to fit inside of a beautiful life and not the other way around. We're done sitting on the back burner. We're going to put ourselves first. And so I've really, we've both seen that rising with everyone that we've been working with, with ourselves included. And it's been really beautiful.
00:46:41
Speaker
Yep. Absolutely. I want you to say the next one that we have been, that we kind of identified. You know, this is a big one. The year of the snake has prompted so many to shed social media pressure and to just quit worrying about all of the pressures that social media, I think has shaped us into as beauty professionals over the last several years, thinking that this is where like in this race. And then if we have to stay on this ever moving treadmill, and then if we step off for a day or a week or a month or however long we need to, that we're going to lose the race or that we're going to be left behind, or we're going to lose everything we've built. And we're going to lose our followers and our clients. and it's just so far from the truth. And we are seeing that more and more and more that I think,
00:47:30
Speaker
but There's just an awakening here that actually social media is a life suck force and energy suck. It can be if we allow it to be, and it can rule your life if you allow it to be. And I, we've just handed out so many permission slips to so many women that you don't have to run this race. You don't have to abide by the social media algorithm and the guidelines and the things that are like taught.
00:47:57
Speaker
It's actually not true. Yeah. Yep. It's been so wonderful watching the people that we work with set it down.
00:48:10
Speaker
Set it down. It's heavy. It's so set it down and even let go of their social media manager or somebody who's true. We've seen a lot of that a lot where they've been working with somebody to help them manage their social media and it's been out of alignment for them and it's actually not served them well. And it's been a financial burden. So we've seen a lot of that. And I love that because social media is yours. And, you know, if you don't have a voice in it, then what is the point? And so setting it down, actually, that's such a great way to put it, set it down.
00:48:47
Speaker
Yeah, it'll be there if and when you want to pick it up. Mm-hmm. It is not going anywhere. no What versions of professionalism were people done pretending to be? Let me word that again because it's it's stated a weird way. What versions of professionalism are estheticians done pretending to be?
00:49:11
Speaker
Non-spiritual and mechanical. yeah Oh, God. We've had this block. this this block of, um I think, especially on social media, but definitely in person as well, of feeling like um we have to dampen our spirituality or dampen our, essentially our light, you know, be in fear of maybe being judged or not aligning with our clients or it being a little bit
00:49:44
Speaker
I don't even want to say taboo, but what's the word I'm looking for? Like, Oh, I think taboo is actually, okay Yeah. In fact, we have a client right now who were, we just started working with last week, but I've been working with her, you know, for, for years in different capacities. And we're working through this with her right now too, where it's just this little bit of fear of like, Oh, I don't think everybody understands or,
00:50:07
Speaker
you know, this fear of judgment, because these are the things that I am talking about. And we've kind of gone through that transition in our podcast too. And I think finally being open about our spiritual awakenings and our spirituality has just, um, it's been very freeing, you know, but you know, like you, so going back to what you were just saying in the previous section about being healers,
00:50:32
Speaker
Well, you're going to have to embrace and talk about your spirituality then. You know what I mean? Yeah. But you really go hand in hand. So you can be in the room and be quiet about what you're doing, you know, or you can just embrace it and and really lean into that energy and not be afraid to talk about it either. And hopefully us having our conversation about spiritual awakenings and just pointing out the fact that most of us are having spiritual awakenings. If you haven't had one yet, you're probably going to hear pretty soon. ah Because it's just happening to humanity. More and more people are just waking up to the illusions and leaning into, well, if this is an illusion, then what is the truth? And you can bring that into your business. And it's actually really beautiful. And I think that a lot of people are really looking for that. And so, yeah, I think that pretending also, I think in our industry as well. And again, like what we, another thing that we're shedding is the persona of an esthetician and needing to be perfect and like fitting into a box yeah and just realizing that that's not the case. And I think a lot of guests that we've had recently, especially Nicole yeah has kind of given people permission um,
00:51:47
Speaker
it's really shown us that there isn't one way to be as an esthetician. And we've known that for a really long time. But I think that we're just seeing that on a huge scale of estheticians letting go of, you know, thinking that there is some sort of a box to fit in, and then dampening their light and dampening their spirituality. So I think that that level of professionalism, like, We're not talking about show professionalism, like showing up on time and whatever. No, we're going to do that. We're going to stay in that energy for sure. But the professionalism of like, there's a way for an esthetician to be, that doesn't actually exist. No. Because more and more people are getting into skincare, right? And so we'll talk about this moving forward, but in fact, um,
00:52:37
Speaker
That's going to be, let's, let's skip the next point and just go down to authenticity. So how did authenticity rise as the only sustainable business model? Like literally that's what I'm trying to say right now is that the more authentic you are, the more that you are.
00:52:56
Speaker
uh, leaning into yourself and your traits and your gifts and your quirks. And, you know, whether that's spirituality or like Nicole is drinking Lonnie and taking Prozac and listening to like chill, you know, music in her spa room. And that is how we're attracting the right people to us. And also how we have such good retention, you know? And so what I'm trying to say is that as more and more people get into skincare,
00:53:23
Speaker
then they're going to align with the right person for them. And so a lot of success in skincare, no matter if you have your own business and you're solo or you are working for somebody else, what draws people to you is you. And so you want to be authentic. You don't want to dampen anything about yourself. So whatever those weird quirks, you know, quote unquote so quirks that make you, you, that is where your success is going to come from. And what a beautiful place to be in our industry that is like, you be you you shine in your perfection. And that's where your success is going to come from. Are you freaking kidding me? That's awesome.
00:54:06
Speaker
Takes all the pressure for off. You just get to be you truly wholeheartedly you. And it is again, coming back to the ear of the snake. It's about shedding a lot of layers of self-protection that we've built on ourself or that's been placed upon us as children and just continuing to shed those away as we grow and as we grow older. And, um but it just takes this pressure off and it makes it so easy. It's like, oh okay. I just have to be my true authentic self and everything's going to work out for me.
00:54:36
Speaker
okay, I can do that, you know? yeah Yeah. And it is the only sustainable business model. It is the only sustainable career model moving forward. yeah You can't continue to pretend to be somebody that you're not because you're not going to be attracting the right clients and you're to a much harder time retaining them or finding the right fit for your employment, right? It is truly the only sustainable business model in skincare moving forward. stop Stop trying to pretend to not be who you are and just really embrace everything about you.
00:55:10
Speaker
i love the quirks. Yes. It's, it's your essence. It's your secret sauce. It's in, and it's truly, um, original to you. There's like no replica of you. And that's really beautiful too. And the people who are meant for you will come and it's none of our business. How, as long as we, as long as we continue to put in the work and show up authentically. And, um, I just think it's a really beautiful thing and it's,
00:55:40
Speaker
ah It's once you know that it's gets harder and harder to resist it. It might take you a while to shed those layers and to do some healing and to do the personal development and the spiritual development. Um, but once you're, once you're awake to it and aware of it, it's really, really hard to ignore it. And it will just continue to become like blaringly show up in your life until you surrender to it.
00:56:06
Speaker
What did burnout expose in our industry?

Shedding and Personal Growth

00:56:11
Speaker
The need for personal tending to. And again, that's like. It exposes that where we put ourselves here on the back burner and put everything else before us. our Usually this is what we see is when somebody is in burnout or nearing burnout, their business is first because they think, well, I have to, I become a slave to this business because I have these this family that I care for and I have to make the money to care for the family. So it's actually business family self-serve.
00:56:42
Speaker
And what you and I coach and how we lead is actually self comes first before your kids, before your spouse, definitely before your business. And so it should really be self family business last.
00:56:57
Speaker
And that's really what it burnout exposes and has been exposing. And, um, yeah, you can't pour from an empty cup. Mm.
00:57:09
Speaker
And as women, I think we have to continue to check in on ourselves about that too, because it is such a female thing. you know, religion has really nailed that into our brains too. But um I love that we are coming more to that realization. Like, hey, I can't pour from an empty cup. And so what does that need to look like for me? And I love walking people through that process of making that shift too is very, very rewarding for us.
00:57:36
Speaker
And what's really cool is we actually get to kind of hit it head on and our mastermind and our one-on-one coaching and like on the, with these newer beauty professionals. And if you're listening and you're a new, newer beauty professional, it is so important to put yourself first. And so we kind of can hit it head on before. So you don't reach burnout. If you've been through burnout, you, know or if you're in burnout, it is exhausting and it's not sustainable. And you'll you'll get to a place where you'll have to pivot somehow to get yourself out of survival mode. And we don't want to see that for anyone. And so we want to avoid burnout as much as possible. And it really does start with choosing yourself.
00:58:16
Speaker
o Yes, it definitely does. Consistently. Yeah. So the anchor message here is authenticity really became a non-negotiable because the snake made pretending impossible.
00:58:31
Speaker
Which is so true. And again, i don't know anybody who's avoided this this year. no Not at all. Not a thing. oh Not a thing. So let's just go through a couple of personal prompts, like in our personal life. What did you personally shed this year that might have been surprising to you since you were quite unsuspecting about this year was going to pat itself out?
00:58:56
Speaker
My entire team. Yeah. My entire team. They, it in one way or another, um you know, whether it was chosen or I chose it, they all left. And I was stripped back down to just me and Sweet Cheeks and had to rebuild.
00:59:14
Speaker
And it was very raw and very, um really hard. Lots of grief, um lots of questioning, you know, i think everything that I built and questioned myself and questioned where I was going.
00:59:31
Speaker
And like, and when you said this, that you said this a while back, but like, you know, when you accidentally pray for something, it had been something I'd been praying for, for a long time. I didn't foresee it happening like it did. You know, I didn't pray for my team to leave me, but the things that I've been praying for, for my business to achieve and for myself to really level up and transpire into, um a higher version of really what I wanted for my life.
01:00:00
Speaker
It's exactly what needed to happen.
01:00:05
Speaker
So I didn't see that one coming. no And it really has worked out beautifully for everybody involved. Yeah. I mean, I'm just so grateful on it for so many reasons, but if that hadn't have happened, i for not just Sweet Cheeks, but for Sweet Cheeks University, I wouldn't have pivoted into launching this apprenticeship program and really getting serious about beyond aesthetics our coaching. And i mean, not that I had one foot in one foot out, it was just always like, I'm going to get to that, but it really did push me into not even push i
01:00:43
Speaker
yeah Yeah. It kind of just pushed me off the cliff without some wings to fly. And, um, and I'd been wanting that and I'd been asking for that and really, really desiring that.
01:00:54
Speaker
So, yeah, I'm so grateful. Yeah. Yeah. What about you? What did you personally shed this year that surprised you? oh my need to peas and a please and fawn. And oh, my gosh. And it started happening very, very early on before I had even gone through my therapy experiences. I started catching myself doing it.
01:01:16
Speaker
Um, like becoming aware. my gosh. So much awareness. And now that I'm at the end of the year and i have gone through extensive therapy for anyone who doesn't know this, I went through ketamine this year.
01:01:33
Speaker
Um, I can talk about that in another episode. It's the best thing I've ever done for myself. And then my therapist who did that with me, he's ended up being my therapist. And so we caught onto this very fast and I had already had an awareness of it, but it is so interesting now that I'm at the end of the year,
01:01:52
Speaker
it's mind blowing how healing that part of me has changed. everything. I've lost and walked away from so many relationships, intimate relationships, friendships that I've been in for years, like important people in my life. um And then like, you know, shifting energy in some of my professional relationships too, where I'm like, Oh no, wait a second. That's not, that's not me anymore. I'm it's so once you recognize that you do that and you recognize the pattern, and you know, where it's coming from and you've healed it.
01:02:23
Speaker
I actually cannot step back into it. Like my boundaries now and my self-worth and my love for myself are way, they're just so much better that I won't peace and a please and fawn from that desperate energy of trying to like get back into your good graces.
01:02:44
Speaker
But it's not going to work for me. i will silently walk away from this relationship completely. Which is so, um, Empowering for you and your your higher self, right? Like you've you've needed to to get to this place.
01:03:02
Speaker
Oh, yeah. but Like my whole life. My whole life. And so this year, that's been a really, really big one for me. I just i i choose myself and I'm not going to continue to...
01:03:13
Speaker
convince anybody else to choose me or to treat me right, or I'm not going to stay in these patterns that aren't serving me anymore. i have no use for that whatsoever. And it's been, I mean, you guys, I've been like that since I was 12 because of things that transpired in my childhood. And so now I'm turning 40 this year and I, I'm like, I don't even recognize that person.
01:03:38
Speaker
Don't even recognize it.
01:03:42
Speaker
It's really incredible. I'm very proud of you. Really cool. It's really cool. And it takes a lot of work. Yeah. Cause it's been a lot of work i play and it's been a road for you to travel. yeah ah And I'm still on it. I mean, I'm still like in so much therapy and and figuring everything out, but. But yeah, that's what definitely surprised me because i'm i'm not even sure that I fully noticed that I was doing that. Like you've asked me before what my trauma response is and it was actually to flee. And then once i saw what was happening at the beginning of this year and my response to certain situations and then once I got into therapy, I was like, yes, there's avoidant parts of me for sure But for the most part, I instantly go into this insane, desperate, fawning,
01:04:28
Speaker
energy. And now I can't even imagine doing that. Like there's just no, I don't have that reaction to me at all. No.
01:04:37
Speaker
Choose me and treat me right. Rise to my level or word. There's nothing left here for me. Yeah. So, so I love it. It's a really, really powerful. Um, so how did this year bring you back to yourself as a leader, coach, esthetician, or even woman?
01:04:58
Speaker
You know, this year, especially these last five months has really um helped me. i think shed, like I said, shed away a lot of self-protective layers that I placed upon myself in the last four or five years of my business needing seeking validation from others.
01:05:21
Speaker
and these last five months, I've just, you know what, we're not doing that anymore. I've always done the thing without permission, right? You know, i built these, this business, I've launched another business. I've done what I wanted to in my life without permission, but then I do the thing. And then I immediately need validation from others that I'm on the right path or that, you know, what I, what I've chosen is is accepted by others or right by others. And these last several months, I'm just, and I, at i didn't even consciously start doing it. It just started happening where I'm just like, we're not going to do that anymore because it actually steals the piece that I have when, and my confidence, obviously when I do these things and I know I'm, I know within myself, I'm going to do them anyways, because that's how I've always been.
01:06:12
Speaker
At the same time, it's, um, been this self-imposed roadblock that I've placed upon myself where I'm just like, I'm not doing that anymore. And I, and I really do attribute it to everything that's transpired over this last year and, um, kind of coming back to myself and really confidently stepping into this leadership role because something that I've noticed trending in,
01:06:38
Speaker
These like resources I come across are these outside forces, whether it be a podcast or something I'm reading, or like the other night we pulled intention cards and it is a, it is a reoccurring message. that says you have everything within you that you need to move forward. And it's just that constant. And I've heard it so many times, Jess, you have everything you need within you. And i've just been, and it really didn't click into place until Sunday night when we pulled those intention cards. And that's what my intention card said. Well, but it was part of it. Like you have everything within you that you need. And so that's really, um,
01:07:13
Speaker
that's really um I think what this year has brought forward in me and really helping me just step forward with confidence. Even, even if I don't know exactly what the next move is or exactly how I'm going to do it, I'm still going to do it with my head held high and not immediately turn around and be like, is that okay? Yeah.
01:07:36
Speaker
What do you think of that? Or, you know, does that make sense? Absolutely. Validation has been a theme for me for the last few years, too. And it is really empowering when you can step outside of that and understand that there's, you know, it's one thing to I think validation is a wonderful i think when you get validation.
01:07:57
Speaker
when when it's coming from a place of like gratitude, like that feels great. Needing validation, that's a whole different energy. If if you're being held back or you're you're outsourcing so much of your power when you have that need for validation,
01:08:16
Speaker
And it's so empowering. I think you really did put that right. And the word is empowering, you know, and it's so much self-trust and self-confidence and so much self-empowerment to understand that the only person but that you need validation from is yourself. And then, you know, i like to think that when I...
01:08:36
Speaker
then get validation from an outside source that that is just a God. That's a God thing saying like, yes, you know, it's not coming from that person. Like we appreciate that that person sees that in us and that they said that and whatever, but I feel like that's a God wink. I feel like that's a glimmer of just the universe giving us the validation. And it wasn't because we needed it It's just like, yeah you're on the right path.
01:09:01
Speaker
It's that confirmation that you are on the right path. And I agree. i think it is that God wink in there, you know, God and spirit and our source uses. different vessels to send us though, that confirmation, whether it be a person and they're the one who's complimenting you or validating you or it be by this beautiful sunrise in the sky, or, you know, a song on the radio, like whatever that is. And I think when we're aware of that and in deep full gratitude, then we do recognize them. I think they're always there. We may not always recognize them.
01:09:36
Speaker
Um, Yeah. Yeah. So needing validation is the issue. Yeah. Yes. out that saying That is the issue. And I think i would encourage you, whoever is listening to ask yourself where you are outsourcing your, your validation and then coming back home to yourself and understanding that You don't, you don't need that when we get it, we're grateful for it, but it's not something that we need from other people.
01:10:10
Speaker
Don't we don't, this is our own life path. Yeah. And it is different than everybody else's. Is there any other personal reflections that you want to share before we wrap up this theme of the snake in the nine year?
01:10:26
Speaker
i don't think so. What about you? Hmm. You know what? I will say that I am shedding, and I've definitely shared this on the podcast, but the masculine energy you know has been so abundant in my life for so long because I've been in such emotional survival since my childhood. And um yeah, for the last couple of months, I've just been really leaning into more feminine than masculine. There should be a balance, right? But for me...
01:10:58
Speaker
I'm really looking around in my life and in my environment and recognizing where there is more too much masculine. And I'm trying to feminize myself and my life and my environment as much as possible because it feels so much better to me.
01:11:15
Speaker
So for me, releasing a lot of the masculine energy that's coming from survival and fear and control and validation and all of those things. And shutting that has been one of the best things that's ever happened to me and definitely written in the stars. No questions asked that that was definitely something I was going to be called to do this year. And it feels amazing. I feel more like myself than i have and as long as I can remember and just so...
01:11:48
Speaker
happy and at peace and walking through life with a different energy. So shedding a lot of that masculinity and fear and survival and trauma cycles and and stuff like that has been
01:12:05
Speaker
Yeah, indescribable. Even my office, if you guys are, if you watch this, I just feminized my office. I just redid my entire office. I got to a point where I couldn't even be in here anymore because it was like hyper masculine hodgepodge of things just kind of thrown together to make my work life possible. And so i recently sold almost all of that and then just redid all of that pretty quickly. And from the moment that I cleared my office out, I felt like a completely different person. i feel like...
01:12:39
Speaker
I love to be in here. i feel more creative. I can work in flow. I've like reconnected with this, even just spatial energy. i think your spatial energy really matters. yeah mean, that's a huge thing. And ever since I moved into this house three years ago now, I haven't, I've really struggled to work.
01:13:00
Speaker
You know, which is crazy because this office is huge and it's beautiful. It's in a whole different part of my house. And that was one thing that I loved about it. But the energy in here just was not conducive for what I needed. And so I felt really called very recently. i literally... I think I told Tiffany, I mean, it's only been what, like four weeks since I even said that to you that I like, I have to do something about my office. And so literally within a couple of days, I cleared the whole thing out and then just slowly started piecing everything back together. And it just feels incredible. So yeah, I'm just releasing all of that masculine energy that's wrapped up in trauma, you know, and yeah away from that and moving into my new feminine era. Yeah.
01:13:46
Speaker
which is another layer of healing yeah for sure. And your office the from what I've seen, from what you sent me is so beautiful. yeah And um yeah, I, it definitely needed that upgrade for you.
01:13:58
Speaker
I love it. Yep. It did. Okay. Now.
01:14:07
Speaker
Okay. Now that we've honored what was shed, let's talk about what we are stepping into part two The year, the one year and the year of the horse.
01:14:20
Speaker
Once the shedding is complete, the horizon changes. You feel it you sense it you know something new is forming, not because you're forcing it, but because there is finally room for it.
01:14:33
Speaker
Where the snake descends inward, the horse explodes outward. The one year is the first breath after rebirth. It doesn't ask who you are, who you were. it asks who you're now ready to become.
01:14:49
Speaker
And the horse arrives like a third of momentum, unapologetic, wild, and instinctive. It asks you to move, to trust your footing, to run toward the version of yourself that the shedding prepared you for.
01:15:02
Speaker
the horse doesn't tolerate hesitation. It doesn't entertain self-doubt. It moves with truth, not performance, with instinct, not insecurity, with confidence, not comparison.
01:15:14
Speaker
This is the energy beauty pros are stepping into now. Movement, momentum, authenticity that is no longer fragile, but embodied. a business that reflects who you truly are, not who you were conditioned to be.
01:15:29
Speaker
The horse year is not about speed for speed's sake. It's about aligned acceleration. It's about saying, i know who I am now and I'm ready to live like it.
01:15:43
Speaker
That just gave me so many chills and, you know, it's definitely a little bit emotional. It's just after the shutting and now all of a sudden, I think life is going to start moving on this trajectory. um but you are ready for it. And I think that's the thing is it's, I think after you shed that much and you complete all of those cycles, and if you really showed up for it and leaned into it and did the work, then the momentum moving forward is it's not like, oh ready or not. No, i actually feel ready. You know, i feel ready. I'm like, use me Let's ah go. I know where I'm going. You know, we know who we are. We know what our purpose is
01:16:26
Speaker
And we're ready to just explode and and run full force with that. So what does momentum feel like for beauty pros Right now, i think it's realization of purpose and an ease and following the calling and watching everything align because of it.
01:16:46
Speaker
Well, it's that chosen virtue of flow. Yes. A chosen virtue flow is actually been perfect the perfect way to describe that. Yeah, there's, I just, I, I think it's actually when you when you said it, it came to me of like closing the cycle, doing the work, shedding all the layers. And now we get to reap the benefits of all the work that we've been doing on probably just so much quicker and better than we even can probably imagine. That's really where my mind is going. And that's where my heart is leading me to have like,
01:17:25
Speaker
We're going to reap the benefits, like get on, hold on tight, you know, kind of like c crawl on that horse bear back. And I just envisioned this like wild stallion yeah and we're going to know how to ride, you know, and we're going to know, um I think how to navigate the terrain that's ahead of us. And, um, and just,
01:17:47
Speaker
I don't know. I don't know really how to explain it, but that's where like my, my heart and my feeling is up with it right now. Yeah. It really does feel like jumping on the horse's back and you are running at full force down the coast and you might not know where you're going, but you completely trust it because you're so aligned and so in your purpose and you're so ready for it. you know?
01:18:11
Speaker
And so it's just this energy of like ah grabbing those reins and going crazy with it and heading full force into it with that trust and that surrender that you're going to know exactly how to navigate things as they come up.
01:18:26
Speaker
Yeah. And I think Jess and I, because we're both going to be 40 this year in 2026, I think we both can, um, attest that it always works out.
01:18:39
Speaker
You guys, I like really always worked out chill out, chill out. I've been thinking about this nine year cycle and, and like, kind of like the next, you know, the one year going ahead. And I'm just like, I have zero fear because i know it's going to work out for my highest good. And everything that, you know, happens, it happens for me, not to me. And so there's just so much ease and trust and surrender when you can surrender to that. There's so much ease that comes with just whatever happens. Yeah. Yeah.
01:19:10
Speaker
Yeah. And that's why it's exciting. It is exciting. And there's just evidence of it throughout your life. I think it's really important that we're always looking for the evidence of how things have worked out in the past. And that's where a lot of your trust and surrender can come from is like, things really do always work out in one way orina or another. And so there's really no need to be anxious or to stress about but anything because things, things do work out and the universe really does have your back.
01:19:39
Speaker
So in this case, how does authenticity become a strategy rather than a buzzword? Because

Strategic Authenticity for Success

01:19:45
Speaker
i think it has been for a long time. I think that before this you know this current nine year that we're in, in the year of the snake, authenticity has sort of been thrown around.
01:19:54
Speaker
But I think once you truly shed and you have done the work and you lean more into your authenticity, It's not really a buzzword anymore. This is actually something that becomes completely embodied, you know, and um to me, that's where attraction and and magnetism and momentum come from.
01:20:14
Speaker
And that's how that becomes more of a business strategy is that we realize that the more that we are, You know, then we tie our marketing to that and we tie our energy to that. And we we really put that out there and lean into our authenticity and who we truly are and what we're passionate about and how we're showing up to serve. And that's going to attract the right people. Like we were saying before, it's going to help you with your retention and it just becomes very magnetic for your business.
01:20:43
Speaker
I unfortunately am thinking about the secret lives of Mormon wives. I'm not watching with any of the other seasons. I watched the first seasons, but of course I see that kind of sprinkled around on social media and stuff. And I just think...
01:20:54
Speaker
You know, there is so much power in just showing up and not really caring what other people think about that and leaning into that and how much that just propels you forward in life and the opportunities that it opens up for you. And that's probably my least favorite example. Like wow no judgment, get your back, but they're, they're showing up for it. And so do, I mean, there's, there's examples of it everywhere, but like could the Kardashians come to mind for me, you know, love them or hate them. they're, they're true to who they are. They own it. at the end of the day, they fiercely are protective of everything that they are and their family is. And you know what? They're reaping some big benefits because of it exactly
01:21:37
Speaker
They give no Fs. Exactly. So that is kind of the authenticity that we're talking about. Show up as you are, give no Fs and watch those opportunities just unfold for you because they will, and you're going to attract the right people for you.
01:21:52
Speaker
Absolutely. And if you're, if you are in a space, if you're listening to this and you're like, man, how do I, how do I allow my authenticity to shine? How do I get really clear on that? It really circles back to that personal, professional, spiritual, and physical development. There's like, it's a four part thing that make you whole. And it's really comes back to that.
01:22:13
Speaker
Yep. I definitely agree. Yeah. I definitely agree. And showing a little bit of yourself. You know what I mean? On social media, I don't think that we need to get overly personal on social media, but like if you love animals, show up for that. Like, don't be afraid to talk about your animals. Don't be afraid to show people how much you love coffee. Don't be afraid to show people your health practices. There's just this like relatability that I think comes with that authenticity. And that is where a lot of the magnetism comes from of being able to attract people who relate to you is that you're just sprinkling in these little things about yourself. Like I think a lot of people are attracted to you because you're a mom. And so they relate so much to that. And they really look up to like, this is a mom, she's owning multiple businesses, you know, and she's still showing up on social media, like perfection or not. Like your authenticity has always been very, very magnetic ever since I've known you. Yeah. Yeah. And you know, think that I can attribute that because i I do agree. I've always shown up on social media just like this is who I am and not perfection or not, but is following my own intuition. Our intuition is our inner guidance system in so many ways. But when I get a prompt to be like,
01:23:26
Speaker
have this prompt to share something that my kids have done or share about something I bought online. I don't know, whatever it is. I trust it, that that's been placed on my heart and in my head for a reason that somebody needs to hear it or see it or whatever. And so I've just been very in tune with my own intuition my whole life. And i've trusted it and taken an action when it has come for the most part, not always, but, and, and I think that leads back to, um practicing your own authenticity and showing up in certain ways. Or like when you're having a conversation, say with like a client in person and you have like this thought drop drops into your head and you're like, you second guess yourself like, Oh, I don't know if I should share that. Or I don't know, just freaking trust it. It's there for a reason. You know what i mean? And I think that we all have to just like, cause I, our, our mind can be so great and it can be like our,
01:24:23
Speaker
get in the way sometimes, you know? And so that's what, that's my best advice. Trust your intuition. yes Yes. Yeah, absolutely. What do beauty pros finally feel free to step into?
01:24:37
Speaker
A lot of ease and a lot of trust without the pressure. Yeah. The year of the horse is just going to be explosive for so many beauty professionals.
01:24:51
Speaker
Ourselves included. Yeah. I, I just, the, the pressures that we feel are self-imposed. Oh, totally. we are putting them on ourselves, right. For whatever reasons, there's a million. Um, but really leaning into that ease, having a lot of trust.
01:25:09
Speaker
It just, it does. It takes the pressure off our shoulders. Absolutely. Where do we see confidence and clarity returning to the industry? When you aren't being pressured to be perfect or show up in a way that doesn't feel authentic to you, you finally have permission to be confident in exactly who you are and what your superpowers are because they are coming from within the real you.
01:25:35
Speaker
And it does, it just circles back to that drop into city it, and that attraction and magnetism for the people and places and opportunities really being drawn to you when When we, when we allow those layers to be shed and we ah allow our real selves to be seen and heard and valued, um, amazing, amazing things really do come from it.
01:26:00
Speaker
You know? Yes, they really do. What does running toward alignment look like versus running on empty?
01:26:10
Speaker
Whoa. The chosen virtue of flow. chosen virtue of flow. Flow is a reoccurring theme in this conversation. yes it really It's true though. Actually, I didn't anticipate that. So, but it is absolutely true. Running towards alignment. What does that look like versus running on empty? That is so beautiful. It does feel like flow. There's definitely an ease when you're in a alignment. I want to refer back to Sierra's episode actually where- And she is one of my best examples of alignment and living in purpose and how everything just lined up for her more beautifully. And it continues. It's like a yeah daily, I get messages every single day from that girl that she's like, oh my gosh, and we're buying a house and, you know, and I sold this much in product yesterday and I didn't actually need to do any sales. And it was like,
01:27:02
Speaker
You know, so if you haven't listened to that episode or like listened to it multiple times, when you're in alignment with your purpose and just leaning into your intuition and taking action, there is this really beautiful ease and flow and trust. And that is really one cool thing and experience about who we work with. And as we get them into authenticity and alignment and take the pressure off and get them pouring back into their selves, how these synchronicities start to happen and the flow that starts coming back into their life. And that just to me has everything to do with being in alignment with who you are and with what your purpose is, or, where you could just say like how you're being called to show up and serve people as a beauty professional.
01:27:52
Speaker
Yeah, absolutely. And it's just, it's, It's emotional to witness and, um, and just like Sierra yesterday and on our call, she did get emotional because she's so proud of herself. And then that made me emotional seeing how proud of herself she is of her. And it's just, it's so beautiful. And, um, man lives like it changes lives. Mm-hmm.
01:28:20
Speaker
It's life-changing. It is life-changing. It is life-changing.

Year of the Horse and Embracing Change

01:28:24
Speaker
So the horse here is where authenticity becomes visible. The real you becomes your brand. Which is what we've been like saying forever since we've started this podcast is like, you are your brand. And, um you know, I think the 2026, the horse year is just really going to, bring that to the surface.
01:28:48
Speaker
Yeah. I don't think anyone's going to be able to escape that. Like the more you are yourself, um, the more of your brand you're going to build or the stronger brand you're going to have, which reminds me of the guest that we wanted to have on today and she'll be on soon.
01:29:04
Speaker
um Her follower count is crazy. And I guarantee without even like, I've never actually talked to to this person, but it only took a couple of posts and then...
01:29:15
Speaker
watching what she was talking about and watching her follower count. And I was like, I guarantee that the moment that you started being really open about this part of yourself, that is where your six your real success started to come from in every way. Like i guarantee that she's going to say that that's how it happened. Oh yeah. And I, and I guarantee she's got a very strong community and, um, and that's the foundation of her community is, is truly her and being truly authentic and not being afraid to, to show up as she is, you know, and it's a little unconventional for sure. We can't wait to have her on and we can't wait for, yeah for you to listen. So, um, yeah.
01:29:57
Speaker
Yes. Yep. Definitely. okay So for just some personal reflection, let's see, what energy do we feel called into next year? What, what part of us feels really ready to run?
01:30:14
Speaker
I mean, collectively or personally,
01:30:26
Speaker
you know, I'm really, as I've been like truly thinking about my intentions for the beginning of the year, I've truly just been on this energy of
01:30:41
Speaker
actually authenticity. And I didn't even make that connection until just this very moment of, um, you know, just again, going back to that conversation of earlier of just leading with my whole heart and doing so without permission.
01:31:04
Speaker
Well, I think that's the most powerful part, again, is like not eating that validation. You're just like, you don't need permission to just step into that. You're going to give yourself that permission step into your full authenticity and lead with your heart, wherever you feel called to to do that. We have a lot that we're working on creating in the new year, and we've made a lot of changes to a lot of things that we're doing. Mm-hmm.
01:31:27
Speaker
And opened up the space to be able to do that. um And I guess I'm actually very much on the same page as that as well. And just giving myself permission to ah fully, fully accept what I'm being called to do. And knowing that all of the healing work and everything that was stripped away from me this past year is so that I can do that.
01:31:50
Speaker
Yes. And really, you know, so that we can help lead the industry in this evolution, which takes a lot of authenticity. It takes a lot of confidence and authenticity to step into that and um
01:32:05
Speaker
embrace it. he Yeah. Embrace it is a is a good way to put it um And i also believe just trusting that we have the wisdom to yeah carry out um what's on our heart. Yeah, know absolutely. Yeah. I think a lot of work that is going to be done in, in beyond aesthetics and in my personal brand and, and in Sweet Cheeks University, like a lot of that is going to have to flow from like spirit for what we're being called to do. you know what I you mean? If we're going to be working deeper with people and creating more containers and, you know, you're going to be doing your apprenticeship. I think that a lot of, and that's really what I have had to accept and embrace and understand is that most of the work that I'll be doing is going to have to be like, quote unquote, channeled.
01:32:58
Speaker
You know, there, there's just things that we're being called to do that. I'm like, I think that it's such on a spiritual level. And when we're the ones that and being called to bring that into the industry. It's like coming from spirit and flowing through us and then flowing into our industry and embracing that and learning how to show up for that is, it does take some work, you know, like that does take a lot of, um, like I'm thinking about even just, um,
01:33:29
Speaker
your physical vessel, you know, and your, your mental and emotional energy and setting aside the quiet time to make sure that you are the best vessel possible to bring these things to fruition. That's kind of been on my mind a lot too.
01:33:45
Speaker
Yeah, absolutely. was kind of a word salad. Cause I think we're both thinking out loud. Agreed.
01:33:57
Speaker
and But yeah, I think it's um an energy of leadership and authenticity and spirituality and being guides in where the industry is going. Yes, 1000%.
01:34:12
Speaker
What part, so then this is the great part of that question is what part of us feels ready to run?
01:34:19
Speaker
All of it. I don't know if there's a single part of me that feels like hesitant know me either. To be honest. Yeah. There's so much. Yeah. Yeah. There's no doubt in my mind. Yeah. That's not like a very fun answer at the same time. i and at the same time, I've never felt that way wholeheartedly before. There's always been some hesitation. There's always been some self doubt. Um, there's always been some imposter syndrome that wants to rear its head when we embark on,
01:34:51
Speaker
or when I've embarked on anything new, whether it be solo or collectively with you. And I'm not feeling it. i am just in full trust that we are truly, this is a calling and that it's deep, deep spiritual work. And again, like you said, we are just channeled guides and, um, yeah.
01:35:13
Speaker
Is there any part of you though? but what That well, which part of you feels ready to run? Is there specific part? I think the the trust factor. I think I trust so much at this point.
01:35:27
Speaker
ah There's just been so much evidence. There's been you know so many conversations and so many experiences that i I really have a full trust in whatever happens and whatever unfolds. And so I feel like super ready to just run with that because I think there are variables for what could happen potentially.
01:35:47
Speaker
True.
01:36:01
Speaker
kind of where i land and that goes for my personal life you know there are things i want in my personal life that i've never asked for before or wanted before. like Actually same.
01:36:13
Speaker
Yeah. And so that's been really interesting. And I have so much confidence in just asking for it and saying like, this is what I deserve and this is what I want. And so you're either going to like rise to meet me or you aren't. And I'm saying that's like relationships and life and like everything, like you're going to rise to meet where i am and where I'm going or, you know, you aren't. And I've never had that confidence before.
01:36:38
Speaker
Or being like, well, you know what? You're really not in alignment with me anymore. You're kind of like part of this past, you know, weird cycle of energy. And so if you trickle out, I trust that. i'm like, I'm cool with that. It's happened in so many areas of my life lately, like so many areas of my life, even competing. I'm like, yeah wow, I suddenly don't want that anymore. That's interesting. You know, like I want this whole different version of that. And i mean, every part of my life is just so, yeah like I have full trust. I have full trust and it's just insane to me.
01:37:15
Speaker
the i It's like hard to even put this into words because you guys are not on the end in my personal life the way that Tiffany is. But I mean, really relate what I've walked away from this year, i just never thought that I would.
01:37:28
Speaker
Yeah. know And do it with complete confidence. Yeah. Doesn't it make you so proud of yourself? I'm so proud of you. Yeah. It makes me really proud of myself and it it gives me so much more confidence and trust in myself and in, you know, my higher power to just like keep moving forward. um Yeah. It's, it's really beautiful. So, but, but yeah, so I would just say trust, right? Just let that trust like, all right, show me how good I can get.
01:37:57
Speaker
Yeah. Yes. I love that. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. What version of leadership or creativity is emerging for you?
01:38:09
Speaker
I would say that the feminine and the spiritual. yeah Yeah. Just like I was saying, like really diving into that feminine rising and then leading other people through that too. Yeah. Yeah.
01:38:21
Speaker
That's mine too. Like, I think mine is confidence, but at the same time, bringing more leaders along with us. Yeah. And, um, and providing the opportunity in the space for more leaders to rise. Yeah.
01:38:39
Speaker
yeah Yeah, absolutely. Okay. Okay.
01:38:46
Speaker
Okay. You shed what wasn't yours. You reclaimed what was. And now you get to run as the woman you were always meant to be. Beautiful. Thank you so much for for having that conversation. So powerful and a lot of reflection. And I hope that
01:39:09
Speaker
i just... touches you. Yeah. Everybody. I know it's going to resonate really well with our community because our community is on the same timeline that we've been on. And, um you know, if you're listening to this, you're not new to this, this mindset and framework, um, and this energy. And so, yeah, we're just so grateful that you're here and tuning in with us and yeah.
01:39:39
Speaker
Yeah. And absolutely wishing you, the happiest holiday season and honor and what you've shed and let go of this year and what that process has looked like for you and just praying for that energy of the horse and the one year um,
01:39:57
Speaker
show up for you in the most beautiful aligned momentous way possible. It feels huge. It feels like such a huge, beautiful energy. And so we really want to just honor that and everybody and, and send you our prayer in that.

Upcoming Programs and Community Building

01:40:15
Speaker
And we have some things happening with beyond aesthetics that we'll give you guys just a little sneak peek for what Tiff and i are working on. We've, restructured a lot of things. We are changing the way that our mastermind is working. We are scaling back and just going back to one group of six people with longer calls actually. And so, um,
01:40:40
Speaker
Right now, we currently have the the details and the offer out to everybody who is on the waiting list, and they get about a week and a half to decide if they want to claim that spot for good. And so on the 18th, if all of those spots are not claimed, we will open it up to our community so that you can claim your spot in the new and improved deeper, deeper, expansive mastermind and coaching group.
01:41:09
Speaker
And in addition to that, we are going to be starting a membership at early 2026. And we are very overjoyed and very excited about creating that too together. And we are still working on those details and what that is going to look like.
01:41:27
Speaker
It is going to build a larger community. You will get the opportunity to just be a consistent part of this collaborative and evolving community in our industry. If you're craving that community and then that support and that tribe just all the time, then we are going to have that membership for you at a very affordable price. And it is going to be even deeper work and access to, you know, an extra podcast episode every month and, and a live session with us every month. Um,
01:42:05
Speaker
Yeah.
01:42:09
Speaker
and we're just feeling like it is time and so we have basically cleared our schedule to allow us to now step into that energy and create that beautiful container of growth and community for you in our industry i think especially as the industry evolves We'll need more support in that because like we were saying and earlier, I do see that the the industry is splitting into two. And what I was saying is that we're either going to go the ah direction of ah love and authenticity and doing the foundational work with love and with a deeper intention. Or people who are going to stay in the old ways of doing things through fear. And a lot of us are feeling that pull into this new direction. And so I feel like having that community and that container and that space and that support is what we're going to be offering people and helping you evolve with the industry in a community to fully support that.
01:43:11
Speaker
I'm so excited for it. Yeah. i already know how powerful it it is with what we already have planned, you know, and, um, and I do know that it's just going to provide just like this, this cushion of love and light that so many beauty professionals are searching for and praying for and desperately need. And so, um,
01:43:40
Speaker
Yeah. Well, you know, a lot of people that I work with, like when I teach my retail masterclass, they just come right out and say it. They're like, this way doesn't feel good for me. You know, this way that I was taught or the way that I'm being, you know, shown how to do these things, they don't feel good. And I'm like, that's because we're moving into a different way of doing things. And so if you are that person and you're feeling like, wow, a lot of these things, they, they don't feel good to me anymore. That's a lot of what we're talking about. It's just that shift in that energetic shift in the industry. so you are right to feel that there is a reason why you feel that. And we are here to guide you through that process. And then I also want to let everybody know that on January 19th, let me just double check that date just to be sure I am going to be teaching a masterclass. It's going to be a combination.
01:44:32
Speaker
It's going to be a lot of pieces of my retail masterclass, but I do want to talk in there. I already do this, but I want to do just a little bit more of it, consultations and so retail sales consultations, even touching on skin analysis and, um,
01:44:52
Speaker
Pre booking and follow up messages, those fundamental things that Tiffany and I talk so much about. Those are kind of those fundamental things that I think are changing that we want to be sure that we are aligning with a new evolved way of doing things. So that class is going to be from nine until noon. And the first three people to register can take this class for $77. And then after those three people, the class is going to go up to $117. Nine to noon, it is a very long class. And it's just going to be an intro to a lot of things that Tiffany and I are going to be guiding you through for the coming year
01:45:34
Speaker
and so i'm excited to do that even if you have taken my retail class in the past it actually has evolved um even just over the last like four to five months i continue to get in there and evolve the course as things continue to evolve in the industry and as i'm able to continue um putting in that feminine energy and that magnetic energy and kind of going more that direction so i'm really excited to bring that all together and have that more evolved version of my retail class and just touch a little bit deeper on like the follow up messages and the pre-booking and stuff like that. So if you're interested in that DM me, I'll start posting about it more probably next week. But if you're listening to this and you feel like you'd be interested in that, the first three people are 77. And then after that, it's going to go up to 117 per person. It's going to be live on Zoom, but if you can't make it live, you will receive the recording for that class. And again, the time is in ah mountain standard time. So nine to noon MST.
01:46:37
Speaker
What's the date again? January 19th. Okay. January 19th. Okay. Okay. So much value. Yeah. I'm really excited. I've been called to do that again this year. I like to do something every new year's for people like every January, I love to do some sort of a group class. So this is just going to be a much more evolved version of that, that retail class.
01:46:59
Speaker
Nice. I love it Excited. Do you want to share anything, anything more? yeah Um, you know, my apprenticeship program, I still have one spot available for our classes that start, um, towards the end of January, 2026. And, um you know, this is an in-person apprenticeship and it you know, and this is for non-licensed beauty professionals who want to get your aesthetics license. And I'm really, really excited for it. So if you are somebody, you know, who has always wanted to become an esthetician and just never, um, has taken that leap of faith, shoot me a DM and we'll talk. And, um, you know, you can relocate to salmon Idaho in the middle of nowhere for nine months. And, work right alongside me. I'm really, really excited. And then I, of course, I still have my Brazilian wax masterclass online course still available. It's completely free and you can access it at sweet cheeks. You just go to my Instagram and my, I, my, um, what's it called? My,
01:48:12
Speaker
I, my, what is it called? My handle to my website expired. And anyways, I'm still trying to figure that out So you can get to my website through the links on my Instagram at sweet cheeks university for now until I figure out my domain issues, um, or just send me a DM and I'll send you the link.
01:48:28
Speaker
Um, but yeah, you can find me on all socials at sweet cheeks university. Again, my name is Tiffany or, or if you want to check out my skincare business page, it's at sweet cheeks, waxing skincare on all the places as well.
01:48:40
Speaker

So you can anticipate a little bit more of that action over there within the coming month. And just stay tuned for all of the happenings for beyond aesthetics. We'll keep you guys updated with that membership so that you can be one of the first ones to join in on that early 2026. So that's all that we have for you today. Not all that was absolutely amazing and in depth. And I can't even wait to like listen to this back. So give us your feedback. Let us you know, let us know how you liked the episode, leave us a rating and review so that we can reach more people. And we will see you in the next episode. Have pretty dreams. Happy holidays.
