Why I’ve Always Sat with the Highest Achievers

In this mini bonus episode, Tiff shares a powerful story from her childhood, one that didn’t fully reveal its meaning until years later.

As a young girl competing in a statewide beauty pageant, she found herself forming a fast friendship with another contestant, one who would go on to win the entire competition. Looking back now, Tiff recognizes a familiar pattern that has followed her throughout her life: a natural pull toward the highest achievers, the confident ones, the top performers.

Not from comparison, but from deep alignment.

This episode is a reflection on proximity, frequency, and growth. On how surrounding yourself with people who are already operating at the level you aspire to reach can raise your own vibration, expand your vision, and open doors you didn’t even know existed. It’s about learning through closeness, being inspired by excellence, and allowing yourself to rise to meet the energy of the room you choose to sit in.

This message came through as a spiritual download, one that felt meant to be shared immediately with the Beyond Esthetics community. It’s an invitation to intentionally choose tables filled with the shakers and doers, the seers and believers, the people who challenge you to grow, stretch, and excel at your highest potential.

If you’ve been feeling the pull toward “more,” this episode may help you understand why.

If this story resonated with you, it’s likely because you’re being called to elevate the rooms you place yourself in.

Growth doesn’t always require doing more, it often begins by choosing different proximity. Staying connected to spaces that challenge your thinking, raise your frequency, and normalize big visions is part of the work.

If this episode stirred something within you, trust that it wasn’t accidental. Sometimes the next step isn’t about pushing harder. It can simply be about choosing a table that reflects who you’re becoming. It's already yours babe!

And I am one of your co-hosts, Tiffany or, and I am coming to you today extremely spontaneously to record this very short little episode.
00:00:50
Speaker
Jess doesn't even know i'm recording this right now. And that's how impulsive this, this decision to drive back to my office after I've been done with work for the day and get this, this information that I'm like bursting to share with you recorded and on the podcast.

Belief in Divine Timing

00:01:09
Speaker
So anyways, I'm Tiffany or I'm writing solo today impulsively without my other co-host Jess. And i just have something extremely important to share with you that actually came to me this afternoon while I was at the gym doing my workout. It was a download straight from source straight from God. That was like, oh my gosh, I didn't even realize it. And i have to share it with, I have to share it with you. And so here I am. And you want to know what the timing was absolutely perfect for me to be here today because actually finished up with work early today. And i went in, did my workout, got done a little bit early there. My kids are writing the bus home after school today. So I don't have to pick them up from school. And i magically ended up with an extra 30 minutes.
00:01:59
Speaker
If that's not divine timing, I don't know what is. So back to back to why, why I'm here back to what I

Life-Changing Insight

00:02:08
Speaker
have to share. Um, this, this download that came to me today is, um, it's going to change your life. And again, this is going to be the miniest episode you've ever heard. It's probably going to be 20 minutes or less. We'll actually see where we land when I'm done, but, um, it's going to be life changing.
00:02:28
Speaker
for you if you take action with it. And before I share what that actually is, i am going to share a story with you to kind of segue into, into, into the point. Okay. So, uh,
00:02:43
Speaker
Back up a

Professional Background

00:02:44
Speaker
little bit about me. If you're, if you're new here, um I'm a licensed esthetician. just celebrated my 14th year in aesthetics last month in December, and I own and operate a skincare business in small town, salmon, Idaho. And I'm also Obviously, a you know, co-host on this podcast with Jess and i am a coach, aesthetician coach and mentor and licensed aesthetics instructor.

Childhood Reflections

00:03:13
Speaker
So, um, I've been doing this a long time and I'm a mom to three kids and a wife and, ah
00:03:22
Speaker
If we go way back when I'm also a dancer, I don't dance anymore, but I grew up dancing. And so this is a story i want to share with you. um I danced my whole childhood and started when I was five or six years old and danced all the way through high school And i will preface this though with dancing. the dance scene 30 years ago was definitely not what the dancing is today. Like the dancing today is just like them kids are professionals. so don't get confused about the type of dancer that I was.

Influence of Grandmother

00:04:02
Speaker
Definitely not. I was a great dancer though. And I'll tell you why, because
00:04:07
Speaker
I have always loved the spotlight. I just have, I've always loved attention. I've always loved being in front of a big audience and I can hold the beat in a rhythm and I can follow direction. Right. So, and I love music. And so that those combinations dance. Yes.
00:04:27
Speaker
And so when I was six or seven, um, my grandma, Jerry rest in peace. She, um, you know, my grandma, Jerry, she, she was so fabulous and she wanted big things for me from the get go. And i didn't really understand and see that when I was a kid.
00:04:46
Speaker
But I definitely do now looking back on my childhood and looking back on all of the opportunities that she definitely made sure me and my sisters um had happen. And I was the oldest grandchild, so I got a little bit extra, ah you know, a little bit extra of that grandparent.
00:05:04
Speaker
essence because I was the oldest. And so my grandma, Jerry wanted big things for me and she wanted, i think really, really wanted me to be famous. And that's probably what started what instilled in me, this need and want to be famous.
00:05:18
Speaker
It's true by the way, i do. And so when I was six or seven, um I had started my first or second year in dance and, um, she enrolled me in this beauty pageant in Boise, Idaho. And so Boise from where, where I live now. And, and I mean, it's salmon, Idaho. So obviously i grew up here, uh, it's about five hours away um,
00:05:45
Speaker
This was the nineties. Okay. The nineties. And so she enrolled me in this beauty pageant in Boise, Idaho, and it was this whole thing. And she took me, she paid for it. She paid for my dance lessons. She bought my outfits for it. It was

Friendship and High Achievers

00:05:59
Speaker
this whole thing. And it was actually really special because her and I got to spend this time together and go away for the, you know, the duration of four or five days together and attend this beauty pageant. and it was this whole experience.
00:06:10
Speaker
And so, um, at this beauty pageant, you know, it's just, I'm, I'm so little, but I remember it so vividly and I'd never been to Boise before. And, ah I think it was hosted at the red lion inn and, or that's where we stayed and I was hosted close by anyways. it's probably at a convention center. I don't know. I don't remember those details because I was a child.
00:06:33
Speaker
Um, but I just remember there being, it was just so jam packed of girls of all ages and different divisions and talent and dresses and you know, the moms. And it was just this whole thing in this whole vibe. i remember it so vividly. And i remember, i in let me tell you guys this too, I had a really hard time making friends as a kid. I was really shy and really reserved and really held back and really afraid of putting myself out there as a kid.
00:07:07
Speaker
And so, you know, of course, like I didn't, we didn't know anybody. I had no idea who these people, any of these girls were. Um, so we get there, we get settled. And then I remember like spotting this girl, super cute little girl and, um same age as me.
00:07:27
Speaker
And I just remember like, feeling this energy from her and she was nice. And you know, we kind of like, I think our, our hotel rooms were close by. And so we passed each other in the hall anyways, her and I became like fast friends.
00:07:41
Speaker
I'm sad to say, don't remember what her name is. I can very vividly remember what she looks like though. We came really fast friends and it was actually really, even looking back on this now, I'm like, that was weird because I didn't make fast friends. Then we came fast friends and we hung out in between our having to do our, whatever it was, you know, going up on stage, um, being in certain places at certain times, we just like gravitated towards each other and we hung out and we hung out in the hotel room together. I would go to her hotel room after, you know, our obligations and she would come to mine and, It was so fun.
00:08:18
Speaker
And let me tell you what, this is what came to me in the gym today. She won the competition or won the beauty pageant for the, and you know, she won the big grand prize. I don't even, I can't even tell you what that was. I can't even tell you. I think she got a trip to Disneyland.
00:08:35
Speaker
I'm sure there was money involved out of like hundreds of girls. She won. And I'm not even all surprised because she just had this air about her. She had this confidence. I mean, we were like six or seven. How did I know that? I don't know, but I can look back and be like, holy cow.
00:08:53
Speaker
I spotted it in her and i glommed onto that and i connected with her and I sought her out and i can still remember just watching her win and being so proud because I was like, that is my friend. And she won and having like this connection and being like almost a secondary success because this girl that I had become such close friends with in such a short amount of time, one, this big competition out of these hundreds and hundreds of girls and all of this talent and all these things. And I just remember being so proud.
00:09:31
Speaker
I was a little bit bummed that I didn't win, but I did win the talent division. And I'm still so proud of that. And I got like a trophy that was like, Three feet high. It's probably still somewhere in my parents storage somewhere, my mom's storage. Um, and my talent was tap dancing and I tapped hands to achy, breaky heart in my little black Wrangler jeans and red, white, and blue tassel vest and a white cowgirl hat. And my hair was down to my butt and it was just, I still remember it so much. So I did win the talent division. I did win something and I'm still proud of that.
00:10:04
Speaker
And so moral of the story, why am I sharing this with you guys? Why was this so important for me to stop what I was doing? Get back to my office, get on this podcast or get on my computer and record this podcast because this is what's

Value of High Achievers

00:10:19
Speaker
going to change your life. This is what's juicy. This is what I want you to really hear and absorb and think about is being six, seven years old. Even then, before I even knew what I knew,
00:10:34
Speaker
I knew my soul knew to seek out the, the high achievers. My soul has always known to seek out and connect and sit at tables with the people that are doing more than me, that people that are, are achieving higher things than me, the people that are are out there doing really big things. My soul has always known and I, and then I am like, after this download came to me and then I started like cataloging all of the things and I'm like, Holy shit. I've always been this way. I have always sought out high achievers. I've always sought out the talented people. I've always sought out the people who I think are successful and who are doing the things that i really, really want to achieve or want to do or want to attain.
00:11:27
Speaker
And the people that actually inspire me all throughout my childhood, all throughout junior high and high school, my friends were all high achievers, high performing athletes. Um, you know, early adulthood, my, my very best friend, my sister-in-law is the highest achiever I know. And she inspires me every day. Jessica, she is. the highest highest achiever. I know she is my soulmate. It's just like, I have always sought to sit at tables of the people that are farther ahead than me. and it doesn't take anything from me and it doesn't detour me at all.
00:12:06
Speaker
thinking that they have something that I want and I don't have that. That's not the mindset that I have. I'm like, man, if you can do that, so can i and I want to come learn from you. I want to come here, how you got to where you are. I want to hear your story. I want to, I want to absorb your energy and your essence and everything that you are I want to take that in. i mean, it's an energetic connection and I am I'm freaking here for it. Please tell me, please share with me, please let me just listen. Let me just watch you and observe you.
00:12:41
Speaker
That is what I came here to tell you today. That is what is going to change your

Learning from Inspiration

00:12:45
Speaker
life. That is what is going to progress your goals and your aspirations and the things that you want. is by finding people to that are farther ahead than you, finding people that inspire you, finding those high achievers, finding those people that have the things that you want and desire and aspire to be go Find them and ask to sit with them, ask to hear their story, ask to just, you know, learn from them. And I promise you it will change your life. It will change the trajectory of everything you're trying to do. it will elevate your goals. It will help you rise. It will, um, it will raise your vibe, which is
00:13:34
Speaker
life-changing in and of itself is when we are around people that have that live at a high vibration and we are elevated instantly around their own energy, go find them, go sit at them, go sit with them, go, you know, follow them. It can be, and this can be anyone. It can be anybody. It can be, and and there's like a million different ways that you can connect with these people.
00:13:57
Speaker
Don't get stagnant in where you're at and don't, Just be content with where you're at. Go find the people out there that are doing the things you want. We all have dreams. We all have goals. We all have vision. We all have these things that we, you know, I, I can confidently say that we all want to be better than we are right now.

Go find the people that are doing it And I promise you, I promise you that true leaders, true guides will always make room for more people at their table. Always. They're not stingy with their information. They're actually so generous with, um,
00:14:37
Speaker
with what they've learned because that's true leadership is when we, when, you know, they can be like, yeah, this is how I got from point A to point B and this is how I did it. And these were the challenges that arose and, you know, happy to share true leaders truly will. And so,
00:14:56
Speaker

00:16:36
Speaker
Create one. I have said this and just says this for have said it for a long time. If you want to connect, if you're feeling called to connect in person with beauty professionals in your area, and there's not something like that, create one. It is so powerful and it is needed. And that in-person connection and that collaboration and that.
00:16:57
Speaker
