Today we are beginning 1Kings chapter 1. We will read about Adonijah trying to make himself king, instead of Solomon. We will see Solomon be annointed as the new king and immediately start making Godly, wise decisions. In our discussion today we will talk about giving people the opportunity to show themselves as being good, rather than acting hastily and trying to judge them, even when they do something wrong to us, the way Solomon did with his brother, checking to see if his brother was going to be good or bad, and releasing him to go home when Adonijah submitted to Solomon's authority and position as the King of Israel.
