Sometimes in the midst of our daily routines and our very full to-do lists, we forget the immense potential that lies within us. We forget that we are not bound by our current circumstances. We forget that we are not confined to our past or limited by our present. We forget that we are destined for greatness. We forget that it gets to be easy. Something really magical happens when you're forced to write pen to paper down your thoughts and your dreams. So if you're not driving, go ahead and grab that piece of paper and a pen.

If you are driving, let's try to come back to this when you can write it down, OK? But we're going to start with a couple of questions, three to be more precise. Three questions to kick us off. So grab your paper and pen. Here we go. Question number one.

What is one very tangible, numerical thing that's going well in your business today? Now I'm gonna give you some examples, okay? Maybe it's the fact that you have three incredible clients. Write that down. One tangible, numerical thing that's going well in your business today, you would write down, I have three amazing clients, okay? Or maybe it's the fact that you have 300 email subscribers. Write that down.

Maybe it's the amount of money you brought in so far this year. Maybe you've brought in $50,000 this year. Write that down. But it needs to be a numerical, tangible thing that we write down. So one thing that's going really, really well in your business today, write it down. It's important that it's a number. That's question number one. Now that you've identified that, question number two, I want you to write this down. Well, this really isn't a question. Just write this down. Next week,

I have, and then you're gonna fill in the blank here, and you're going to double that number. So going back to my examples, it would be next week I have six amazing clients, or next week I have 600 email subscribers, or next week my business brings in $100,000. You're gonna double the number, and you're gonna say next week, that part's important, okay?

So that's number two of this exercise. Now number three, this is a question. How do you feel when you say that?

When you say, or you write, next week I have $100,000, next week I have six amazing clients, whatever that double number was, when you write it down, how do you feel? Brain dump all of the emotions that are triggered.

Recognizing & Overcoming Limitations

Good, bad, ugly, everything in between. Be honest, because it doesn't do you any good to lie about it. This is a moment for you to get really honest with yourself and recognize some subconscious beliefs

some potentially limiting beliefs. I call these toxic dragons. Perhaps you've heard me say that before, but our toxic dragons are just those things like perfectionism, imposter syndrome, self-doubt, right? So just whatever came up. Now, did you find yourself thinking you'd have to work really hard to make that happen?

Did it feel hard? Is that the emotion that felt triggered? It felt a little bit like, oh, I don't know. Then practice telling yourself you received that number, not because you worked really, really hard, but because you're inherently worthy. Did you find yourself doubting it could be true? Maybe you're like, there's no way that could happen. It feels unbelievable to me. Practice telling yourself you secured that number with ease because all of your work to date paid off. It's a compound effect. It was inevitable. Practice that.

Did you find yourself smiling at the thought of it? Six amazing clients that feel so amazing. Great. We're on to something. You have a purpose to fulfill. Let's freaking go. But be honest. What are the emotions that are triggered? Because within those emotions lies our answers. That's going to tell us what we need to work on and where we need to pour some more energy into.

If it felt really good, great, let's lean into that. If it felt a little unbelievable, great, let's lean into that because we need to pour some work there. We need to do some work there so that it starts to feel believable to you. Here's a really hard truth. If you don't believe you're capable of this or more, your efforts are always going to be a little dull. Your actions are always going to be a little safe.

Your offers are always gonna feel a little meh. Your Instagram captions are always going to be a little lackluster. Your emails are not going to convert. Ouch, I know, I know. But it has to be said because I need you to understand, I need you to understand what's on the line here. If we don't get your beliefs behind your abilities.

Belief in Success & Potential

In order for you to make the impact you're here to make, you need to feel into it and fully believe that this or more is your destiny. You need to fully believe that whatever is going on in your life right now, it's not the final destination.

Well, we've already started. We're getting really, really honest with ourselves through a handful of questions, right? And we're not done yet. So don't get rid of that piece of paper just yet. Do you know Oprah? You know that incredible powerhouse of a woman that we know of as Oprah? Well, Oprah didn't become Oprah because she thought, oh, well, maybe one day I'll be successful. Oprah didn't become Oprah because she just half-assed her way through things.

There's a really famous clip circulating on the internet from 1986 where she very clearly and boldly articulates in an interview on 60 Minutes that even if her brand new talk show fails, she will be successful.

She knew that. She knew she was bigger than one show. She knew she was destined to make an impact. And it was with that steadfast belief that she was able to quantum leap. She went forward not wondering if she'd find success with her new talk show, but knowing that this or more was in her future. So I'll quote, she says to him when he questions her and says, what if it's not successful? She says, and if it's not,

I will still do well. I will do well because I am not defined by a show." End quote. Now, I don't know about you, but if I'm going to borrow a play from anyone's playbook, it's going to be Oprah Winfrey's, okay? So first, I need you to tune into your deepest desires. I need you to be aware of what's possible for you.

And then we're going to quantum leap. We're going to bridge the gap between our present and our future by declaring it as inevitable, by declaring it as so. So grab your notebook and your pen again. I've got three more questions for you. Question number one. In what area of your business are you doubting yourself? What have you told yourself will be challenging? Where has your inner critic been loud?

Where have you been playing small? Ooh, ooh, that one gets me every time. It gets me every time. And what area of your business are you doubting yourself? Jot that down. Hit pause if you need to, if you've got a couple things that come up, okay? Question number two. What does it look like to believe the opposite is true?

So if you said to yourself, well, I'm doubting, I'm actually doubting that I'm going to be able to launch this thing and make another 50,000 or I'm doubting that I'm going to be able to do whatever I've got to do to grow that list by another 300 people or 600 people or whatever it is.

I'm doubting that my next workshop is going to convert. I'm doubting that my next offer is going to sell with ease. I'm doubting that I have what it takes to show up on Instagram. I'm doubting that I have what it takes to close my next sale. Whatever you wrote down, okay, now I want you to say, what would it look like to believe the opposite? What would it look like to believe I'm going to smash it on my next sales call?

What would it look like to believe I'm going to show up on Instagram tomorrow with so much energy people are going to feel like they got whiplash. They're not going to know who the heck I am, but they're going to like it. What would it look like to believe? Oh my God, tomorrow I announce this new thing and I get 600 people who sign up for my email list. What would it look like to believe that? What would it feel like to believe that? Question number three.

How will you practice believing in yourself today? Is there something you can do or say to yourself to believe more fully when the self-doubt arises? This could be your new mantra, and that could look like, I am an excellent sales closer, or I am so confident on Instagram, or my brilliant ideas are received by the masses with ease.

Transforming Mindset & Achieving Success

How are you gonna practice believing in yourself today? Put it on a sticky note, put it on your mirror, put it in your car, put it by your laptop. I need you to start practicing believing in yourself each and every day. I want you to pretend like you're on 60 Minutes and the host says to you, what if it doesn't work and you say with a lot of sass and attitude, even if that doesn't work, I will still be successful because this or more is in my future.

Now repeat after me. This is how it feels when I believe in myself and my inherent greatness. Feels good, right? Feels really, really good. A little exciting, maybe a little nerve wracking, but mostly it feels good. Okay, we're getting towards the end of this coaching session. I've got three more questions for you. Get ready because your most powerful question is coming up and I cannot wait to hear what comes up for you.

We're gonna go back to that thing you wrote down, and the very first question I asked you, the tangible numerical thing you said was going well in your business? To refresh your memory, examples were, you have three amazing clients, or you have 300 people on your list, or you made $50,000, okay? Now I want you to take that thing you wrote down that you said was going well, and triple it.

What is inevitable in your future? Triple what you wrote down in that first response. Nine incredible clients are on your roster next week. $30,000 a month is your new reality, not 10,000. 900 people are on your email list next week. Triple it.

Remember we tripled it I'm gonna give you three weeks to make this a reality What are you going to do within the next three weeks? What you've been doing to date and what you're going to do now that you know this is your reality, they're not the same. Who are you going to ask to help you grow that list? What leads are you going to follow up with to ask to hire you? What thing are you going to do now because you know it's not just you. You're no longer settling for growing the list five at a time. You've got an army of people to impact.

How are you gonna show up? What are you going to do? How are you gonna get those 600 more people on your list? Because if you've only been growing five at a time, that ain't gonna cut it. We got three weeks to get to 600 more. What are you going to do? Who are you gonna ask to collaborate? Who are you gonna ask to share your lead magnet with? What new lead magnet are you gonna put out into the world? An easy one. One that you know everyone will snatch up like hotcakes. This is where I'm encouraging you

Get it off your list while you're fired up, while you're motivated, while this exercise is fresh on your mind. What next bold step are you going to take immediately to move yourself in that direction of that triple number being your reality? Because guess what? It is your reality. You just have to make it so.
