Well, I can hear y'all too, but usually I got my, I got my little Bluetooth headsets that I stick on so I can hear real, real good because I guess I used to having that thing on. That's all right, Josh. You don't want to wind up hearing Dave anyways.
00:07:09
Speaker

Absolutely terrible.
00:08:54
Speaker
I'm the worst and somehow I've figured out how to do this in a million years and I do it all off my phone. I don't have, I don't have laptop or nothing like that. So I just pop up my phone and I dropped my phone a couple months ago, dude, don't messed up my screen. So I work around it though, man. We make it work. We make it work. working're fine Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I got the whole crew down there, huh? yeah We don't know what your phone looks like. but It's rough. You lose yours all the time.
00:09:22
Speaker

Yeah, Arliss if you want to take a minute. I know we we got to meet Miss Sandy and Dave last time and I'm sure we got some new new eyeballs on this this time from from the last time y'all were with us. You want to take a minute and introduce the rest of the guys to everybody?
00:09:50
Speaker

Introducing Band Members and Manager

00:09:55
Speaker
Our drummer, Mike Bright. Hello. And of course, for you tuning in, this is our, you know, a little misfit, you know, Mr. David.
00:10:08
Speaker
And and in Sandy, of course, you know, she's the one that, you know, well, we like to say manager, but I would say more babysitter, you know, than anything else. Trainer, maybe. like Well, she has a house. You know, gatekeeper. But other than that,
00:10:28
Speaker
gang
00:10:31
Speaker
she's got, she's got her hands full. That is for sure that. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I learned that last time. You know, I, you know, he always says that he's the good one. I, I, I don't understand. I'm trying to figure that out. We're trying to figure out. Oh, Dave's got a little star power, man. Oh, Dave, he's got, he's got something about that smile, bro. It's contagious. He gets him going.
00:11:01
Speaker
hurry I have no idea what they're talking about. Yeah, it's blind blind over here because nobody knows what's going on. Oh, I'll tell

Fundraising Event for Veterans

00:11:13
Speaker

00:11:25
Speaker
yeah yeah i appreciate the offer i'm i'm just absolutely pumped man because it y'all stay busy i stay busy i don't ever get a chance to just kick back and listen to you guys and hang out with some of my friends so man it's it's really gonna be a good time i'm looking forward to it well you know not to mention that we're actually you know for a good cause too i mean yeah exactly we're raising money for the disabled american veterans oh you know and bringing a big spotlight on them and you know they can really use the money And, uh, but it, as far as, you know, publicizing it, like we were telling Glick earlier, uh, there is four major radio stations, uh, in the Northeast Ohio area. That's going to wind up advertising the show. It's going to be advertised on I heart radio and Sirius XM. Uh, and then.
00:12:17
Speaker
we just found out Monday morning you'll be able to see uh Donnie from the five fours distillery and me and Dave and Sandy on W FMJ channel uh twenty-one oh awesome yeah so yeah that'll be that'll be great man I hope it really gets a good traffic up there like he says for a great cause man I always every year I try to do a little something for them bets and stuff um It's just, it's one of the things I pour into, you know, there's a million places we could be, but we have to kind of pick and choose sometimes where we, uh, where we go. And that's usually one that I definitely try to stop and make time for every year. Yeah, definitely. And it kind of hits home to me. I know it hits home for the Glick because we're both military veterans ourselves. Yeah. yeah um but yeah
00:13:11
Speaker
I'm not, I'm not a veteran. I wanted, I wanted to join the military, but I'm surrounded by vets. i thought you were in um No, I, yeah, unfortunately I was deemed damaged goods. Oh, you tried that stuff. You can't, you can't fix that. You know, that just isn't what it is, but, uh, yeah. but um i probably all the yeah does my Both of my grandfathers were were veterans. My dad was a vet. Most of the guys on the network here, um we have Air Force Navy and and Army because one of the guys on the network, he was did eight or 10 years in the Air Force, retired from the Air Force. And the day he retired, he enlisted into the Army.
00:13:56
Speaker
ah So I was like, clearly you didn't learn your lesson. yeah So I'm surrounded by vets. And and and um you know I think this is going to be great. I'm super excited a to to get to finally come out and see you guys. And you know I've been creeping on Josh, you know checking out your stuff. And I'm excited. I've been creeping on yours too, man. I've been creeping on yours.
00:14:24
Speaker
One nice thing. um is actually a disabled American veteran from the nine tenth air wing um in Vienna, Ohio, and he'll be coming in from Arizona, which will be at the show as well. Bad ass, bad ass.
00:14:41
Speaker
there a next Yeah, we're actually ah just on the side thing. We're going to be celebrating my dad's eighty eighth birthday there. So most of my kids, well, the kids will be coming. Yeah. And wow my brother will be back and he was only going to stay for a couple of days, but, uh, that's pretty much, it's just going to be like, you know, they have a little tent there for him. And so, and his birthday is like, that little stay so it's cool. hell yeah that that point comes out at You see the tent, which Dave's dad, a happy birthday and congratulating on him for putting up for Dave all these years. I was going to say, I'm interested to meet Dave's dad.
00:15:23
Speaker
Yeah. Yeah. I'm already, I'm already taking mental notes. yeah ah motion shit I you know, that says, you know, his mom, I said, it was right after a show. I said, you really claim him and his mom, of course, being a mom. Does anybody really claim Dave?
00:15:41
Speaker
b but i can Skipping a beat. said only at tax time.
00:15:53
Speaker
but That's fun. Nice. Nice. That's bad. Poor Dave. It's all good. It's all good. We're going to talk about it. Yeah. Now, like I said, you know, I'm definitely excited to see you guys meet you guys. You know, obviously, uh,
00:16:16
Speaker
Extremely thankful that you're allowed me to be a part of the show with you guys. you know yeah i watch threwy five think it's a great want i to come in em see the show like really do Yeah kind of threw me for a loop. I was like man. I don't know what I did to be there, but I was definitely honored to be there and very thankful so Looking forward to it. I think it's gonna be a really fun event Yeah, that we're trying to get some some friends to come out ah Trying to you know, my Nikki my fiance being from PA her hometown's only like 45 minutes or so away So we're trying to convince some people don't make the little journey over and come out. and Yeah I'm telling you you're not gonna regret it. I mean No, I think this is gonna be one of the greatest
00:17:02
Speaker
I think it's gonna be one of the one of the greatest nights and Newton falls in a long time You know, I don't I get around I don't go to Newton Falls all the time But I think this is we're definitely gonna make some noise at night It's gonna be a really good time and I'll tell you what anybody who hasn't stopped by that distillery yet The owners of that place are just super awesome people but even even their kids just very respectable family man And what they got going on is a very cool it's just a really good atmosphere out there and not to mention donny and mike both that own the distillery are both veterans themselves exactly yes and our son logan yeah so i mean you know you know like josh said they are great people they really are were we're oh yeah I don't know.

Performance Excitement and Community Spirit

00:17:55
Speaker
Nikki sounds like she's from down south, man. She's hillbilly as hell, man. Maybe I'll talk to her. Nikki, I think, is from Alabama. I think. She's got to be from down south. Alabama. Just wondering how they ended up here in the background at Newton Falls. oh no They have background here in town. Yeah.
00:18:18
Speaker
Well, it brings some good Southern hospitality up there. You know what I mean? I'm telling you, go to this distillery. They make you feel at home. They're very friendly. Uh, they got some good stuff to sip on and some really good stuff in the works right now, as far as whiskeys and bourbons go, you know, that some of it hasn't been released yet. Uh, but they're, they're looking into making some pretty big moves. I can't wait to go there. I've never been in there yet. Oh, dude, it's going to be such a good time to get the smokes old fashioned.
00:18:46
Speaker
Hey man, that's why I'm sipping right now. yeah
00:18:51
Speaker
I'm going to tell you, that is out of this world. no I'm an old fashioned dude. I'm on these things. This is my drink, man. I'm like, I think my fiance's already getting there. What could go wrong if we planned a distillery? Oh, wait.
00:19:10
Speaker
I'll be honest with you. Nikki already last time I was down there, uh, had a couple of days. They got some nice slushies down there that they're doing with bourbon and some tequila and stuff. Well, I drank this slushie and I told her, I said, I like a good old fashioned. He says, you want me to make you old fashioned? I said, I gotta go home right now. But next time I come up here, so I'll probably be sipping on some old fashioned while I listen to the boys. I'll tell you. Yeah. I will be. say Yes. wellll Well, we're all doing you. Oh yeah.
00:19:36
Speaker
ah love the movie See, i'm old i i'm bo oh yeah my my ah my my yeah my my student to be father-in-law I'm old. I was supposed to graduate 85 in Newton falls, but they had this humongous tornado and it just pretty much leveled the town. So we had to borrow Lawrence town gymnasium to graduate in.
00:20:01
Speaker
down over and use their gymnasium because it wiped the whole town out. I'm I'm actually pretty much I pretty much grew up in Newton Falls. That's crazy. Yeah, it was a big tornado. You can Google in 1985. It was an F. It was an F5 when it come through here. It was a mile away. It was a big kind of tornado.
00:20:24
Speaker
There's a different kind of tornado coming through Labor Day weekend, though. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I got the Southern Outlaw tornado coming through. yeah yeah know There's going to be one other. There's going to be another guy playing to anchor. What's that? Isn't there going to be one other person playing that night? No, 100 lot wasn't able to make it because he had a family emergency. OK.
00:20:50
Speaker
and, um big shout out to hunter and we're praying for his dad yeah for sure will not be able to make it for the show ye hey man well butll be there in spirit anyways i'm sure we can make a little bit of noise for he's really cool yeah oh well like we'll do another show he'll be part of some point yeah he was very upset that he had to miss it but <unk>s up two little He understand and sounded pretty bummed that he wasn't going to be able to get up there. Oh yeah. He's really cool. Hunter's a good dude. you know Hell, he introduced Carlos and I. Yeah, hell yeah. And Hunter's parents. Yeah, I hear his parents are amazing. It reminds me of Dave with the supports. Yeah.
00:21:43
Speaker
Yeah, he writes a lot of good Christian songs. He's ah he's a Godfaring, good Christian, good boy. Yeah, I had just enough time to listen to one or two of his songs. I haven't really went through and, you know, sort of find comb and listened to everything yet, but I listened to a couple of jams. and know to go He's got a lot of really good stuff. I was impressed when I went on there. I stayed on there for a long time running down through his songs. He's really good.
00:22:06
Speaker
oh yeah
00:22:09
Speaker
mostly yeah He's from Mississippi, but he lives in Nashville right now. Gotcha. Yeah. Yeah, check him out more. He's great. What's going on, Brad? Yeah, he's we play a lot of his music on the shows, on the different shows. He was one of my first guests on here. Absolutely amazing kid. We stay in contact and still.
00:22:37
Speaker
still kind of uh shoot your **** from time to time. Check in on each other. See how we're doing. the he Yeah. He's like, hey, I got a new song coming up. ah Don't worry. I'm already on it. Trust me. I'm I'm waiting for it to drop so I can so I can upload the video and get it on one of the shows. Hell yeah. Yeah. I even got a couple tracks, man. I'll shoot you. I just have them in my email. You know, I'm a hillbilly. I don't sell much stuff. You can catch me out the bar and stuff like that. Uh I don't do nothing too fancy but uh I got a couple little tracks that I've done over the studios and it's been years now. You know, I was a little younger whenever I've done a couple of them, but they still sound, they sound good enough that if you, you know, need material to put, you know what I mean? I shoot them to you in an email or something like that. Um, I'm so bad with technology and stuff. That's why I don't. Yeah, that absolutely. absolutely i'm sending me Yeah. That'd be cool, man. Some of these small. i hilltra not on music for you
00:23:32
Speaker
Exactly. Small podcast. They need some music and stuff to pump, you know what I mean? That's how it works. um I will say that's the cool thing, you know, and and I know we talked we talked about it last time I had the guys on, you know, the the the music community, you know, when I first started doing this show, um the first couple months trying to ask for interviews. And and and i my my main focus is the local scene, the up and coming artist, you know, and stuff like that.
00:24:03
Speaker
The first few shows I did was just music. It was just music that I like. you know I'm a huge music fan and I listen to every genre. And then all of a sudden the you are the the the emails or messages started coming in and we'd love to do it, we'd love to do it, we'd love to do it. And it's just been, you know one guest after the other and everybody's been so great and and it's like, hey, you know we appreciate what you're doing. I'm like, you guys are doing just as much for me as I'm doing for you at the end of the day.
00:24:32
Speaker
Yeah, everybody's been so cool about player because I always ask, Hey, is it cool? if We play your music across ah because we've got seven different shows here that we do. And they're like, Oh yeah, play the hell out of it. So, you know, we do it. If I, if I get it sent my way, or if it's something I can, I can grab off a YouTube or Spotify or something like that. We play the hell out out of it. Yeah, that's great, man. Cause guys like me don't know how to do that shit. And they need guys like you there.
00:24:59
Speaker
geeking out on the computer doing it you know what mean I don't know what the hell I'm doing either. I was like, I'm going to start a podcast. All I have to do is turn a microphone on and turn a camera on. I'm cold. I didn't realize how much went on behind the scenes and I don't know computers at all. So everything ah in the last couple of years since we started.
00:25:19
Speaker
It's all been self taught. It's all been trial and error for me. So that's what it takes. That's exactly what it takes. All the guys that done it before you grow. That's what they did. They dive in, don't know shit, learn a lot. And then, um, you know, it'll be, it'll be what it'll be. But, um, yeah, I mean, all those guys here are regional and locals, not everybody's a part of them. Big guys. They need a bunch of these little just small town, uh,
00:25:43
Speaker
independent guys that are just trying to try to learn, trying to make a splash with what they can, with what they know. i'll be raised Absolutely.
00:25:56
Speaker
um i I want to ask you guys, obviously coming in new to this this year, the ah for the disabled vets or is this something you guys do once a year for the disabled vets or do you do other charities?
00:26:09
Speaker
actually end up doing it a lot for them. yeah but Every chance we get. or was it um One of the last shows like we ah did, I think what was it about six months ago? Yeah, it was about six. We raffled off a signed Gibson guitar yeah from Guitar Center that we all signed. We had um 5050s. We had a badass whiskey bottle and we raised money ah for him, you know, at that time. Yeah. So we try to do it as much as possible. Anytime, you know, well, that one is kind of close to us because we know the people involved. It does have ah we seen where the money goes to. yeah It's our local chapter up here that we that we ah depending on the outcome of the of this show, they want to start doing it annually.
00:27:03
Speaker
So yeah, yeah it's ah it's a turn out yeah. They want to do it at the distillery annually or distilleries actually thinking about doing this, ah you know, every year. So I think it would be a good thing. I think it could be a a great thing that builds and snowballs, you know. yeah it's it's the way it's set up. It's it's almost it's almost perfect for what we're going to do. I mean, it's just yeah, well absolutely. Yeah. We got out to Mac Trailers. Yeah. They're bringing in two brand new Mac Trailers to build up the stage. They they had a new car like the electricity put in. Yeah. The city of newtonba put in New electricity for the you know the show
00:27:51
Speaker
so hell. Wow. So, so it sounds like the city's getting behind it too, which is always good because Lord knows how difficult they can be sometimes. Yeah. Yeah. That's a rare and special. i guess she's because say one trouble with this yeah yeah I think it'll do good. Like you say, man, it's perfect for it. Uh, the, the history of the owners.
00:28:18
Speaker
it's all there's a lot of hard in it and usually whenever you got hard in something, it you can make it you can make it work and it just works whenever

Event Preparations and Offerings

00:28:25
Speaker
it's supposed to work. So, oh, absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. I met those guys with ah ah Wednesday and I mean, it was really cool. I mean, we went down, we looked at the bat and you know, actually had a taste of what was coming out of there. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
00:28:45
Speaker
viewers know the show, there will be representatives from the disabled American veteran, um, and one of the representatives for the state of Ohio and the honor guard from the D. A. V. Uh, during our show and the stuff when we come on before we do red, white and blue will be coming and marching in the colors to present the colors of stuff to everybody. We gotta give a big shout out to all them.
00:29:16
Speaker
So yeah, it's going to be a full production show. um Something Newton Falls hasn't seen a long time. particular on food i't sayco I remember you saying something about just plugging in. It's been a while since I just plugged in. I guess I think it's been years since I just plugged in.
00:29:34
Speaker
but sure It makes me a little nervous but I trust you guys. You know what I mean? Well, yeah we got we got a great full sound and lighting crews. Yeah, we're good with that. We got a great all we gotta do is pray for no rain. Pray for no rain. That's right. And listen, man, that cloud follows me. I don't know why. jamo walle No dark clouds. No rain. No no rain. No nothing but sunshine. we' get a crap onre out of the way now
00:30:05
Speaker
so that uh the 31st to be nice yeah matter of fact later on tonight uh dave and mike's gonna do a little no rain thank god we won't be in the same location ah not hands no it's not something we want to wind up showing publicly but sandy will wind up recording this I was gonna say, you know, record that, throw it up on the TikTok page, you know, throw it up on the social medias. Oh, they put it up on TikTok already. Oh my God. I know that. I know people that have fun. Oh man. Are there gonna be like food trucks and stuff set up or anything like that? Yeah, that's what I was gonna ask also. Yeah, has anybody heard food situation?
00:30:54
Speaker
Um, I think I know, uh, right now they have a, uh, barbecue food truck that's going to be there. And I think Nikki's working on a taco truck. I think nice there'll there'll be plenty of different food and, and the most important thing, plenty of beer. There's a distillery there. similar love chris but the The real necessity there. Yeah. you
00:31:25
Speaker
Yeah, we got meatballs, though. We got meatballs. Right now, we got meatballs. Mm-hmm. The old liquid curry. That's what she said. Yeah. yeah Oh, if she yeah that was, yeah. If she said it, something's wrong.
00:31:45
Speaker
um Now, but be careful. You're going to piss the babysitter off.
00:31:53
Speaker
baby senator win the baby but but No, Sandy does y'all good, man. Hell, I see her. She works hard for you guys, man. Always always up sharing some stuff. I'm so terrible at it, but whenever I get on there, I get on there and I notice the people that are putting in the work, you know what I mean? I really do. And another thing that helps a lot, and I'm gonna do this to you guys as well, I'm sure Glick you can probably tell, hey, that whenever you go as networking and stuff, you go to Facebook,
00:32:26
Speaker
you go to invite. If I go to your page, I can go to invite.

Marketing and Distribution Strategies

00:32:29
Speaker
Well, it'll tell me to select a thousand people and I'll select those thousand people and I'll shoot invites out. That is one of the most helpful tools that we can do for each other as far as. He does that daily for us. Yeah, it's great, man. It's great. It's one of the best tools and it actually makes a little difference. And if you can talk to people, take somebody's phone at your shows, take somebody's phone, g click grab their phone, be like, hey, man, and then just do it on their phone and give it back to them, bro. Whatever it takes, you know,
00:32:55
Speaker
Yeah, yeah they working on we're, we're, we're working. so I'm getting a QR code made for the network.
00:33:06

Again, I don't know how to make one, but I'm going to learn. And, uh, you know, I had to, uh, I'm terrible at social media. Now I got a, I got a handful of guys with me and they're worse than I am in social media. So I knew all the social media stuff. So I've had to actually go in and I'm like Facebook and Instagram. They allow you to set goals and achievements for yourself for the week. So every week I'm renewing my achievements and it reminds me, Hey, two more posts on Instagram to get this cold this week. You know,
00:33:35
Speaker
more real this happening they' taste good at that man so i'm looking good at it i'm terrible at it but i've gotten better over the last few months stay in it stay in and because that's what it's like yeah i surrounded by people ah to work social media i know how to work tiktok and dude i don't know how to work nothing but like even whenever i want to accept that that click on the link you know it's telling me to sign into facebook or youtube shit i can't remember my damn facebook and reading youtube username it seewor
00:34:08
Speaker
oh i did thank god i did thank god i did between, between all my personal pages and then all the podcasts, you know, I told the guys, I was like, look, we're not doing social media for each individual show. We're just going to do the network and and everything's going to be on, on the network because I've got my so my personal pages. I've got podcast pages. I don't need seven different sets of social media, you know, to try to remember everything. So we're just.
00:34:36
Speaker
all focused onto the network page and that's that's that's it but whenever you hit record it does it across multiple platforms right yeah so when we come on here on the stream yard um We're able to multicast it. I send it to YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook. And then when the show's over tonight, I can download the audio from StreamYard. And then I take that, I have another platform that I use that it distributes the audio version out to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, all the major platforms.
00:35:10
Speaker
and then a whole bunch of smaller platforms as well. So I mean, we're we literally everywhere. no It's not hard. ah It's not hard to find us. ah and And the great thing about it is like, if you go to Spotify or something, you know, like, I don't remember the name of the network, but they remember like Monday night show, the men caring for men men's mental health show, they can just put men caring for men and it'll bring up that, that, that podcast, but it's under the network. So then they can follow us right from there. Um, so it's, it makes it nice and easy and streamlined. Uh, what are we talking about? We got a show or something y'all having a show. Yes, we all are. Yeah. Yeah. We're kicking in. We're talking about, talking about shows, having shows, you know, he's saying, yeah. dave
00:36:00
Speaker
or but and the money and gave one Yeah, actually, Rebecca, we're doing a little podcast here. We're talking about that Saturday the 31st, Five Horse Distilleries. These gentlemen beside me and this young man down below me, they're going to be performing and they're going to let me loose with a microphone.
00:36:19
Speaker
as well. So I'm excited about that. Hey, ah love that it's a it's a charity event for disabled veterans. So, you know, we're up in Newton Falls, I ain't never been up there. I think I've gone through there, but I've never I've never been up there. Never been to the distillery. Obviously, I'm excited. I'm excited, though, to check it out and get up there. um And I always like finding just the random distilleries to just sometimes, I don't even drink liquor anymore. I just like to wander through them aimlessly because it's really cool. Oh dude, I was just going to say, man, I hope you don't go over there and get all snickered up and then come and try to empty us.
00:37:04
Speaker
Hey, maybe
00:37:08
Speaker
ah Again, if I wind up on a stripper pole, all money made will go to the charity. now yeah like yeah so So tip, tips generously know what knowing that i don't even think we have to perform tip generously. whether you just watch We will have the whole thing. We'll put you in the Olympics next year. Joshua can play his music and he can dance. Oh no. We got a whole thing. No. Y'all gotta play the music. Y'all got the full band so y'all can do the damn thing. What are you talking about? He wind up joining the, you know, on the whole way. That's why he wants you to play. Yeah.
00:37:52
Speaker
yeah David, David and I will handle this. We got, we got to show you guys. take the i ah sorry Hey, Josh, is your son still pulling quarantine? So it's really crazy. You asked that because, um, so my last two gigs this weekend, he actually got up there and sang and started getting back

Youth in Music and Personal Journeys

00:38:14
Speaker
in it. So he's going to be 14 in December.
00:38:17
Speaker
I've had him sing it since he was two, but he's been in front of people since he was about eight or 10. But he took a little break because, you know, when you're 14, things change. Well, his voice changed up a little bit. He sat in his bedroom and I listened to him jam out all the time in there. And I keep telling him, Hey man, it's about that time you're starting to learn them chops, the new chops. I can tell you need to get back out there. People ask him for you to come jam for him.
00:38:40
Speaker
and he did come out these last two times so i'm really excited about that actually um i'm i'm hoping we start to see him i ain't even telling him i'm telling him come out man come out the 31st bro these guys are gonna love you bro playing the song or two man um yeah it just warms my heart just listening to him sing he's i'm his biggest fan um but yeah he's just getting back into it yeah that's awesome That's pretty much how all of us, I mean, we started when we were younger. Yeah, yeah exactly. Yes, I ain't here, man. That's the next generation of the music. know I was there when they reviewed the guitar, so I had no idea. Yeah. It was my heart to see a young musician actually playing real music. Yes. and all Speaking of real music, there's this guy. ah I don't know if you've heard of him. He's like 20. He's about 24. He might be 25 now, but his name's Zach Topp. and
00:39:35
Speaker
I don't know if you've heard him in country music. He's very old school, but he's young. And I mean, he does real country. In fact, he is one of the only people right now that I know that's his age doing real country. And my son's going out and covering his songs. And I'm like, whoa. I it. That's a rarity now. yeah old old Old school country is good.
00:40:02
Speaker
i' the rap the rap pop country. That's just not what I like at all. Yeah, I don't it's not my favorite either and I've catered to it a little bit. You know doing what I do over the years. I've i've catered to it a little bit. I I tell people it's the gig. I was out at the campground the other night. I I tell them hey man, I'm going to sing you some cheesy songs and we're che we're going to sing some good country songs too. You know and they kind of laugh and they're like you know cheesy ones occasionally. You gotta do that little cheesy song. Somebody wants to hear it. You happen to know it. You do it.
00:40:32
Speaker
but yeah i like the old school any real country you want to make a yeah you gotta play what they want to hear and get it completely um la caria neither george jones you know i like the old stuff man me too kids willie yeah like hey even most i love the most i'm not even that great like ah I can't play like that. Most of the stuff I really love to hear, I'm not even of that caliber musician, like Zach Topp, dude, he's a whole nother caliber musician to me, but I'm glad that they exist and I'm glad that they bust their ass, because I love hearing them in my ears, you know? There's there there is a new generation of younger guys, and I don't know how old you are, Josh, but younger artists, I should say, that are
00:41:23
Speaker
They're coming up, they're writing their own music, they're making good music again. real kind And they're loving what they're doing. I just said, and I'm going to have him back because we had some technical issues with the interwebs not working properly. A gentleman by the name of James Luker, he was actually just up in Northern Ohio this weekend for the Redneck Olympics or something. I don't know what it was, but it was a big concert up in Wellington.
00:41:51
Speaker
ah Yeah, but he he's up 20 to 23, but he's got this rock country sound to him and he's he's really good and. It's really like I like I told him, it's nice to see young people writing their own stuff and getting back into the old school style of music, whether it be rock or country and not doing this freaking.
00:42:21
Speaker
ah studio produced 20 writers, computer generated music, they're playing instruments, you know, they're having fun. I think Hunter and I talked about that one night when I had him on the show. And then of course, you you know, come across these guys, who was like, man, I haven't heard music like this since I was a kid, you know, i growing up listening to Skinner and whatnot. Now it's like a new band taking over. And it's just like, man, this is my happy place again.
00:42:50
Speaker
I will tell you one thing though, being in the studio to me is one probably one of the best experiences you could ever have. I mean i enjoy it because you can be creative. And I mean, you record and what you record is is forever. I mean, and yeah when you finish that product and it's just, I don't know, it's very nice to do. keep it get it You know, it's Well, you know, the kids these days, if they do something on their video game and they do it and they're like, well, did you clip it? Well, it didn't happen if you didn't clip it. Well, i'm I'm totally guilty. I don't record enough music. I don't write enough music, but you're right, man. Whenever you go record something, it's it's very special because now you clipped it. It's all real.
00:43:42
Speaker
hey It didn't happen if it's not recorded. It is it right? um Yeah, so yeah, you and you're 100% right. There's something super special about yeah you made a portable recorder where you can just if you think of something do it recorded in my phone I have some voice memos and stuff ah ideas. I'm terrible with writer's block too, man.
00:44:05
Speaker
they used to write it down on a piece of paper in the plane as they were going around, just jot a little bit of something down on a piece of paper. I still do. I still do that. I'll still walk through the house. Yeah. Something comes in your head. You write it down. I'm sitting outside. I get something comes in my head. I immediately write it down. Yeah. And if you don't, you forget it. It may not make sense at that point in time but eventually it will. It will. It will. And it'll it'll cut to something else. You know, change the structure of the sentence and make it fit but. Yeah.
00:44:35
Speaker
I've never considered myself gifted in the writing area. you know like i I like to go out and perform. i I didn't even want to play guitar. Whenever I started doing this, whenever I was like 20 years old, I didn't even want to play guitar. I just wanted to sing and have a band and stuff. Well, then I started, I actually fell in love with like... guitars as what they are like a nice guitar. There was just something special. So I started collecting nice special guitars and then I was like, man, you got a lot of nice special guitars. You should probably learn how to play these things. So now I can kind of consider myself a little bit of a guitar player. is is just bit
00:45:10
Speaker
Oh, I like this one. I don't know if you can see it. Yeah. I like that one. It's right right back here, bro. Shit. I can't really see it. dad Hey, this thing right here, man, that's a BC rich 80s. Uh, it's got the snake skin gunslinger, man. USA gunslinger. Oh yeah. It's a screamer, man. It looks like Arliss's hat. It's got that snake on it. Hell yeah.
00:45:39
Speaker
yeah that's Once upon a time, I thought I was going to learn to play guitar and I bought one about, uh, probably Well, probably close to 20 years ago now. It's still sitting here against the wall collecting dust and I couldn't play it. <unk> where money i like my thatt I tried that too. Stuck with the drums. Yeah, that's right. Hard, hard drums are easy. But then all the guitar players, drums are hard are hard and guitar is easy.
00:46:08
Speaker
Yeah. Oh, I can't drum. I can't kick a beat to save my **** life. Yeah. You know, the funny thing is I played drums since I was 12 years old. I'm 57. I played drums that long. I can't dance to save my **** I can't even slow dance. We have but we have a no rhythm drummer over here. Yeah, I can't. All my body parts and arms and legs but the dance is a slow dance with my wife i look like a f freakin robot no made
00:46:40
Speaker
Well, and the sad thing of it is I can contest to this because he's actually my cousin. Yeah, we're cousins. Yeah, we're cousins. just just Just get out there and just bust a move. Whatever happens happens. No, I'll tell you what though. As far as when I grew up, I had my guitar. I've been playing since I was seven.
00:47:06
Speaker
And my dad had a guy that he worked with that gave lessons. So I took lessons. But when I was in junior high, I was in the jazz band. And in order to play in the high school, you had to take orchestra. Well, they don't allow guitar in an orchestra. So I learned all the percussionists. I like i actually played the timpani. I played ah with the state with the timpani, actually. And it was was really cool.
00:47:34
Speaker
I mean, all the percussion parts and then the drums and the snare and that's so that's what I did for four years which strengthened my rhythm even more and yeah you know, that kind of stuff helps. I mean, yeah, I always tell my kid man, don't sleep on rhythm because listen, you can play a good solo. He can play this, ah you know, free bird solo just like the record but don't sleep on rhythm bro because listen, I'll out rhythm you man and he's starting to get, he's starting to learn on it man that you know, my old guitar player used to be like, oh, time for a rhythm solo. Hey, man, there is such thing as playing rhythm a little different than the next guy. You know, it just is. Yeah. Oh, and Josh, you know, it's funny that you mentioned that because I just, you know, I'm always thinking back here. We always end the show with with
00:48:30
Speaker
no shit oh yeah oh no Oh, hell yeah. On August 31st, how about you and your son join us and we finished the night all together doing Freeburg? Amen. Oh, I love the hell out of that actually dude because I really like to put him right in the spot and he he but like he like he goes and sings because you know obviously get some tips whenever he goes out and sings and people enjoy it. I love listening to him sing too but you know the kid actually does have a
00:49:03
Speaker
I love for jamming. Just jamming, bro. Just being buddies, jamming, having a good time. And I always tell him that's what it's about. Last day, it doesn't matter at the end of the day, as long as you had a good time, and it made you feel good. Because music, that's why I pick up my guitar over and over every day whenever I'm here. He's at school, whatever, man. It's my it's my coping skill. it's It's my best friend. I don't know. And I think he's the same way. So yeah, dude, that would be awesome to do that. That would just put him right on there, dude.
00:49:31
Speaker
like I said, music is universal, man. It's everywhere. Everywhere. You could, it doesn't matter where you're at. You could be by yourself sitting in the woods, whatever. There's still music there. Yeah, and it doesn't matter how far back you go in history, dude. Music was talked about. It was talked about in the big book, dude. It was talked about every single place. Those people when the Titanic was sinking? Yeah. Yep. Yeah, it was Harvey. The band was playing. Yeah, that's right.
00:50:02
Speaker
Yeah, it goes way back. I mean, I think that there was actually rhythms and beats before people actually spoke language. oh yeah he know There are still tribes that communicate. There was a tribe that communicated way before there was language. There was rhythms and and sounds.
00:50:20
Speaker
ye Yeah, and I'm guilty, you know, we talk about making music real again, bringing the, you know, you was talking about it a second ago, glire talking about, you know, bring the instruments back and make the music, you know, I'm

Music Technology and Creativity

00:50:31
Speaker
i'm for it. We should come up with some sort of movement like MAGA, and make country music great again. But hey, at the end of the day, I'm guilty of it, man. There's some cool sounds that you can make with a music machine. Like I tell my son sometimes, I'm like, hey, man, don't don't sleep on. I know that DJing ain't playing guitar, but DJs, I know some DJs that make great money, but it goes deeper than just the DJing you do at the bar. Do you get a music machine to start making sounds and stuff? Dude, in it is weird where you're your mind will go with music and sounds, just sounds in general.
00:51:03
Speaker
of friends that do that. They got the machines and they just start banging out beats and they play some guitar and then they'll they'll hit the buttons and record something and get multiple tracks recording and they're playing along with it all. Just one person making music, you know. Yep. Can't help but be interesting. It's interesting. Coming out of their brain, you know. Well, as being a musician, you can't pigeonhole yourself into just one thing. You've got to experiment with everything because that's what it
00:51:35
Speaker
That's if you have the gift to do it, then do it. I mean, if you know another instrument, to much better. Yeah. Being, I, uh, I play drums also, so I can really, I can actually um almost read Mike's mind and we can, they're Yeah, we're good with him being a bass player and me being a drummer being he can do both. Now me play a bass. Oh, hell no. Oh, I know it's got to play the drums and catch fish. We're going fishing, man. Sounds like a date. i can I can bang on things if you need me. I can bang on things and catch fish. Yeah, that's all I do. Hey, John.
00:52:18
Speaker
Josh, when you were doing that beer can, it reminds me of that Monday advertised. Sandy showed me what, yeah, with the reel on the beer can. Did you see that? No, I don't watch too much TV, man. they got it What is it, a reel? Keep smoking, Dave. No. It's a cruise. It's a cruise for the beer. Oh, hell yeah.
00:52:43
Speaker
really does He still wouldn't catch anything.
00:52:48
Speaker
We could drink the beer though. He would definitely. Fix my cozy. He might he might not catch any fish but he might catch a hanger for the next day. Catch a buzz. Catch a buzz. Yeah, man. Like, we're going to be catching a buzz out there the thirty-first. I'll tell you that. Yeah, you, I'll be joining you with that. I don't know what these guys are doing but oh yeah I'm going to be catching the buzz and then I'm with him. i'm I'm with him, man. I think I don't know shit about free bird, but I know somebody who does. Yeah, we'll do that. Make that happen.
00:53:24
Speaker
ah That'd be pretty cool. that is really cool. I didn't that's that's a nice little surprise for me. I didn't know you guys uh ended the shows. It's with it's so clean. Yeah, but we're always different everybody's fake. that's One nice thing is we've actually been endorsed this stuff by Leonard Skinner and Blackberry Smoke. Uh oh yeah. I love some Blackberry man. Blackberry Smoke's coming around here somewhere real soon. Yeah. So, I mean, um it's uh our way of paying respect to the ones that came before us.
00:53:58
Speaker
Yeah, for sure. We're very honored that Leonard Skinner gave us the permission to wind up doing four walls of Rayford.

Southern Rock and Music Scene

00:54:06
Speaker
Red, white, and blue. And red, white, and blue. Yeah. Red, white, and blue was never recorded on a record. The only recordings of it ah was done live. This Ronnie, you actually wrote that um right towards the end before the plane crashed.
00:54:25
Speaker
Okay, I really had a chance to wind up getting us in the studio of doing it. Yeah, there's a couple live ones out there, but So they actually let us record that. Yeah. So it's a big honor for us to wind up doing that. And, you know, even bigger for us to, you know, since they gave us the honor to do it, we're actually repaying that forward as all downloads, any money that comes from that song all goes to our disabled American veterans. Yep. Nice. Now they're also doing the same thing on their end.
00:55:01
Speaker
but it goes to the national one in D.C. Yeah. And like I told Orliss when we were here and I were first chatting, that's, you know, I love Skinner. And I know that's a newer, quote unquote, newer song. It's one of my absolute favorite songs they've ever did. a And you guys did an absolutely amazing job covering it. and and And, you know, we've played it a lot here on the network and I've had You know, they're like, dang, is that one of theirs? I'm like, oh, it's a skinnard song. And yeah, it makes me feel old because then I get the, who's skinnard? And it's like, oh, Jesus Christ. Go, go, go look up litter skinnard on your own time because I can't play it because YouTube will bust my ass with copyright infringements. So you go look up you litter skinnard on your own time.
00:55:53
Speaker
and And there have been a few people that have come back and they're like, oh my God, they they did an amazing job. They almost did a better job than Skinner on that song. you guys have gotten bit yeah You guys have gotten a lot of love from our fans. cause you know Good For Your Soul is one of one of the network fan favorites. We play that a lot. We appreciate that.
00:56:17
Speaker
and and they'll go, hey, man, we we went and look those guys up after we heard that song. Those guys are actually really good. It's not my style of music but I like it. I was like, hey, that's all that matters is you like him. Yeah. Yeah. We're we're Southern Rock, man. We're we're Southern Rock. Good for the soul was actually wrote right here in Newton Ball. Yep. He wrote it on a novel mean the restaurant yeah bad i there's you amount money kick out of that story not much southern rock bands out there I mean, I really don't know any, to be honest with you. You know, got like three was a little bit southern rock for a while until they moved to Nashville and then ah kind of switched it up, you know, you know, you had the the Skinner, the 38 special, the Molly hatchets, the honest, true southern rock and that just ain't out there no more. Well, you had
00:57:12
Speaker
Blackberry smoke, of course. Blackberry smoke. Yeah. And that's what I'm saying with the Zach top. You can't find real country like this man just everywhere on every corner, man. When you listen to the Zach top kid, you'll know exactly what I'm saying. yeah It's crazy, bro. It's crazy. Somebody, somebody was telling me ah about him and said that I should hit him up and try to get him on here. Oh, bro.
00:57:36
Speaker
I've heard the name and and I'm probably one of those artists that came up on my, on like when I'm just randomly listening to music, you know, and I've heard his music before and just didn't realize it was him. So I didn't, I didn't either. I need to get my, you guys talking about just writing stuff down. I have the ramblings of a madman scribble shit down. So I don't forget.
00:58:00
Speaker
bit right here yeah yeah love you yeah this beside beside my laptop and everything. So, I went up to the uh just heard him on the radio here recently. That was that was nice, nice breath of fresh air to hear hear him on the radio. Hey, uh are you playing any Larry Fleet songs by chance? Man, you'll stop me easy. You might not stop my kid. It's easy. My kid's If, if you like real good old school country, check out Larry Flea. He's really, really good. Sounds were great. Great lyrics. He's one of my, uh, more modern ones, but these country, it's great. Yeah. Yeah. My son's been on a big Riley green kick lately, man. He just, and i I'll tell you one thing I do like about Riley is the way that his music is produced. Like you say, it sounds.
00:58:55
Speaker
like he's sitting in the living room playing the guitar, not with all the production and shit. Um, I love that. I love that. You ever heard a course, man? A lot of the new artists, you know, when they wind up doing things in the studio, they can't reproduce that on stage.

Live Performances and Audience Interaction

00:59:13
Speaker
Exactly. You can't. Yeah, exactly. That ruins everything.
00:59:18
Speaker
Yeah, I agree, man. I agree. And you know, I'll be honest. Y'all was just talking about Skinner's and man. Great music. I love Skinner, but we'll say that that last album, the whenever I turned it on, it's produced so different from Skinner's sound. It's weird hearing Skinner produced like that, man. yeah ah To me, so many yeah that music, it's the production. Yep. Yeah. Yeah.
00:59:43
Speaker
They overdone in the studio. we producing it Yeah, because then when people hear it on the radios, then they go to hear it in concert and it's like, whoa, that ain't even close. There's a lot of lot of bands have done that over the years. yeah keep it simple i mean Keep it simple. The 80s in the early 90s was notorious for that. I mean, they just that We're the opposite. We're actually better live than we are with the recording studio stuff. likely yeah yeah we're We're better live than the written than the recording stuff. yeah I kind of feel that way too because honestly I've just played a lot more in the smoky bars than I have in the studio. I haven't spent a lot of time in the studio but I've spent a lot of time at the bars and just hanging out with the people you know in live environment.
01:00:36
Speaker
i don't know i don't have a sound guy so that's kind of sometimes a battle because i don't know nothing about sound but everybody says it's good so we just roll with it and keep keep rolling with it man try to keep a sample man i've always been by that more of um old ah drill instructor i had he said you can always live by kiss keep it simple stupid so i was like all kids keep it simple stupid in my field that number one you're playing solo. so yeah you don't need you don't need maximum yeah you're playing soul Sometimes less is better. Yeah. You could actually get up to acoustic with with nothing and ah Josh, bring the house down. That's that's him. No mics. No, I mean, just you and the guitar and that's work. And that's the thing, you know, even even whenever I sing without a microphone, I've spent more time singing behind a microphone than I have here in my living room without one. So it just it's like sometimes I sing. I'll sing just hanging out at my mom's house or something. And I'm like,
01:01:35
Speaker
wow i forgot how small i am yeah right
01:01:47
Speaker
the the the the the the so yeah they were just in town man i totally agree with that yeah to come out to something first i'lling it hey tell that guy to show up the thirty first i'll sing him some whiskeky myers so okay
01:02:18
Speaker
ah go brown i heard him yeah we'll be there Yeah, we'll be there. Yeah, just come up with that nature you come up and say say I'm Brian and come up and shake my hand and tell me your Brian and I'll sing you some whiskey. I know I probably know Brian. It's probably my friend. I know. I know like three brands right now that are my Brian's and it's probably one of them. Maybe one of them is a big whiskey. I've heard of what's going on around here because I've heard of.
01:02:50

I'm supposed to be in Michigan running charters already for sam i and
01:06:02
Speaker

01:06:29
Speaker
Yeah. They even fish too they got cabin in Pennsylvania. They trout fish. It's it seems to me pretty much oh ah almost 80% of musicians and people are playing bands i like to catch fish or shoot deer. Oh, I shoot deer too. Oh yeah. yeah shoot gear Okay, guys.
01:06:46
Speaker
Yep. And yes, answer the question that just popped up. Yes, we will have a second at the show. Uh, thanks to Mimi's creations that will be set up inside a distillery. There will be tumblers and different things and t-shirts that she's going to wind up selling at the show that will have the Southern outlaws logo and a few other surprises that she's got. So, uh, yeah, you can dice at the show.
01:07:11
Speaker
sounds like I should probably be introduced to me meeting because guess what? I ain't gonna have shit at the show, but I bring some country music. Bring you a website where you can get some podcast merch. Yeah, that's what I want to get into, man. It's the online. ive I've had merch a couple times. I'm due to grab some merch right now for my own person stuff, but I'd like to get on the online. I just I'm so bad at technology. I think it would be a great thing because then you don't have to carry it all on your person that's make the order. So that'd be super sweet, but yeah. Well, we just sell Dave, but we haven't, you know, gotten eight takers yet. I'm the only person I know they put on the street corner and to call the sack. I mean, so how are you supposed to make any money over there between customers? yeah That's only because I just figured out how to send an email.
01:08:08
Speaker
I'm terrible at this stuff too. i I can relate to you. I am technology stupid. But I can catch a fish. Sometimes sometimes it's easy sometimes life is easier that way. you know if If you can yeah avoid technology. I just make my wife do it all.
01:08:28
Speaker
yeah no we we yeah just We just opened our merch shop, uh, Sunday. It's all, it's all online. Uh, but, uh, that's my, my son's a white shirt got any black shirts. We have, stuff like um, no, no, we got, uh, if you, if you go on, if you go onto the merch store, actually why we're talking about it, why not? I'll do.
01:08:51
Speaker
Shameless plug. Yeah. Yeah. That's all I can say. Yeah. Shameless plug that thing, bro. Anybody, anybody who's watching nonsensical ah dash nonsense, stop my spread shop.com. We have, we have a couple of designs that are still in review, but so we have a nonsensical network is like the show that started the or nonsensical nonsense is the show that started this whole ball rolling. So we have, uh, we have a logo that my fiance created and we have it in white and black so we could do light colored shirts and dark colored shirts as well as hoodies and stuff like that and then we have a network shirt that she did we have women's shirts we got curvy shirts we got hoodies and they're in all different colors we had to give a variety of colors and stuff like this is just kind of a
01:09:43
Speaker
this is kind of a trial run right now we just wanted to do nonsensical nonsense and and and the network and kind of see if there's a demand for the merch and then if there is we'll start doing things for each individual show and hats and because of the the site that we use they've actually i want to order a couple hats because they've got the flex fit hats and the trucker style hats and i want to get a couple hats and Uh, I actually, I think my fiance is putting an order in this weekend because her dad's like, I want a hoodie.

Merchandise and Family Support

01:10:13
Speaker
And then he was out in the garage with a couple of his buddies drinking and they're like, he was like, how about I have to send you a list? Cause we're looking and the guys want some stuff too. So it was like really cool. The father-in-law and, and, and, uh, his friends are chiming in to support the the podcast and stuff. Um, on that end, ultimately, I think the goal is.
01:10:31
Speaker
we would love to be able to have everything in the house, the cricket and the and the heat press. And that way when somebody drops an order, we can send it right out because right now it's, you know, pulling that route, you got to wait two to three weeks before you get your stuff. So well, you got to order like a person online or something right now, somebody who's making it to order or right now. It's a, yeah, yeah. It's a, it's a, it's a, it's like a, it's like an online shop. Um,
01:11:01
Speaker
that's okay. So, they you you design you design all your own stuff and then people people go to the site and you set your prices and they keep a little bit and you make a little bit. Right. They do the footwork. So, they get some of it, right? Mm hmm. Well, that's that's what everything has become now. The only thing we have it's that's cool. Yeah. old trumps nice our logo on stuff yeah What Hey, it's funny. I was at a, that's weird man. Just this last time I was at five force distillery. I looked down while I was playing, and playing some music and I looked down and I see a ah Southern outlaws guitar pick sitting there and I picked it up and I gave it to my buddy. It was probably Roger or Brian. One of those two, I gave him the guitar pick that I found. It was a Southern outlaws guitar pick. I said, you heard these guys? They were like, yeah, I've heard of them. I said, here, here's a guitar pick from him. Who's setting up there? Well, we'll have more of the show. We're trying.
01:12:09
Speaker
And that, you know, I'll never make sweatpants. very this yeahp one of my he Yeah. Is there, is there anything, um, that you can share any, anything that's going to be going on, any surprises or anything like that that you can share, uh, now, or you want to hold off until the 30. I see it. I like to put people on the spot.
01:12:37
Speaker
I don't know if we can share anything else. No, no, we can't share anything else. I'm going fishing. I'm going fishing before and after the show. Well, we may be going fishing Saturday. Yeah, we can. go i shoot But no, at the show, we're going to wind up leaving a lot of surprises. Yeah. Yeah, they're going to be surprised because I don't know about.
01:13:05
Speaker
Yeah, there's one that I haven't even told Sandy about. Josh, have you been out riding the motorcycle? Uh-oh. Oh, no, that thing's still sitting in the same corner that Barney was shutting in two years ago, man. If anybody wants to buy it, I got a motorcycle for sale. I'd like to buy a sale boat, so. What? Yeah, I cut it, man. I don't know. I just don't ride it much. I want to get a sailboat, man. Start sailing. I don't know, man. I got it like a hankering for a sailboat.
01:13:35
Speaker
Oh, really? the sal yeah Yeah, yeah. Sailing takes me away. Exactly, man. is Exactly. I'm just gonna give it a go. Go, Captain Josh and try it out, you know? You know what? Do it. That's what you want to do. Absolutely. Just don't let that sail knock you off the boat. Yeah. Yeah. yeah Well, I don't know, man. You got a 10 horse kicker motor on here.
01:14:02
Speaker
in a perfect world in the perfect world. I'd be uh kicking in on a boat and I go find the yacht clubs in the event centers and we'd be having an old party. You know what I mean? Yeah, that's right. I'm all about that. Hey, pull up docket and play for the home. I'll go up to I'll go up to Puttin Bay man with my sailboat and just party down for a week straight. That's a great place. That's cool. Yeah. But back when you say I will give a little bit of a hint Um, I have an email from a very special person. They gave me a special message for our veterans and everybody that will need an attendance. So nice.
01:14:45
Speaker
Yeah, man. We'll really be thinking about the vets that day. I got a lot of buddies that are best. One of my best friends that I talked to every day, man, he's a, he's a retired vet and stuff. and Just they're everywhere, man. And they, they go unnoticed more than they should. Yeah.
01:14:59
Speaker
No, I mean, its that's yeah, that's that's that's the and that's the unfortunate. That's that's the unfortunate thing. And, yeah you know, the more we grow, I would love to do more and more things in my area for the vets or with the vets I've talked about down the road, maybe in the next year or so, especially with this show, trying to put together some kind of music fest like a weekend of event.
01:15:25
Speaker
And some artists that I've mentioned it to, they're like, Hell yeah, we're in. You just let us know when and where. but Sounds like fun. by have been Yeah. Oh, trust me. You guys are at the top of the list.
01:15:38
Speaker
ah You know, finding a venue, finding a spot, seeing how much it's going to cost, what it's going to run, how it's going to work. I've never done that before. I don't know what I'm doing. I'll be ventured into different territory, but I love music and and I love doing these shows. And, you know, I, like I said, I listen to a little bit of everything, so I get all kinds of different artists on here, different genres of music. So it'd be a cool thing to do like a weekend event.
01:16:04
Speaker
I had to try to get my girls from LA to fly out and and take part in it. that will I'm sure that'll cost me a penny here too. yeah um Yeah, I'm sure I still got a stack of vinyl records, man. About five foot stacked tall records. Hell, that's taller than you. Yeah. so this i feel I still listen to records. It's awesome. That's why nobody's using the drum set. The drum set's bigger than he is. Yeah, I'm about five foot tall, so yeah.
01:16:38
Speaker
Those records and tomb home tube home stereo systems, they just shit all over.

Vintage Music Experiences

01:16:42
Speaker
you gotta hold there it's You can feel the music coming out of the speaker. That's right. Yeah, that's what I try to tell people, man. You don't know music till you heard it on a record, a vinyl record with a good tube home stereo system. It'll reach out and give you a hug. My floor vibrates. It pulls off the walls. Things vibrate off the walls. The floor vibrates. You can feel the music hitting you. Oh, yeah. It's cool. I have. abers I have one of those giant old ah console record players from the 70s. I actually bought it for my ex-wife for a birthday present.
01:17:22
Speaker
and when when we When we split up, she didn't want to move it because that thing takes three men, three men and a boy to move it. It's it's it's monstrous. Well, it's just got a little bit of a historical significance to it. The mayor of Charleston, South Carolina, who was the mayor for like 50 years, he bought it brand new.
01:17:43
Speaker
wow And then when he retired, um he just he just donated it to the record shop. And I was like, well, this is kind of a piece of Charleston history right here. And they couldn't sell it for the life of them. And I was being a smart ass. I was like, hell, I'll give you 25 bucks. They're like, you give us 25 bucks, we'll help you load it in your car, and we'll give you 10 free records. And I was like, you gotta fucking deal. Let's go. Bring it up before you change your mind. Because I looked up the value of it.
01:18:12
Speaker
The value I could easily get six, seven, $800 out of it, if not more. And it's still it's in perfect condition. Now, is that one of those ones where the top on it that folds down is the speaker. So when you stand up the top, it's the speaker. Oh, no. Oh, no. This is the top slides open. The speakers are built into it. This thing is like...
01:18:31
Speaker
This thing's like six foot long and stands about three foot tall and the speakers are all built into the slide. Yeah. It's got that AM FM on it. It's got the record and then it's got a big old cubby. Yeah. What's that table TV? You can turn it into one. It's got a little cubby. That's where I keep all my records. Yeah. Record player.
01:18:58
Speaker
but uh yeah I mean it it it it still has all the original uh paperwork and the original warranty and everything like that with it so I love the thing my ex-wife's trying to get it back and I'm like we've been we've been split up for like seven years and I've moved this son of a bitch four times you ain't getting it but whatever this was not this I was growing up my mom and dad had my so My aunt would bring over Black Sabbath, Grand Funk and stuff like that to play

Christmas Music Discussions

01:19:32
Speaker
on there. And Jimi Hendrix, my mom and dad listened to her, but I wasn't listening to Tijuana Brass. And I mean, they had all these Frank Sinatra albums and all that stuff. I was jamming on those things. that looks chair like but This is some cool shit. But yeah.
01:19:52
Speaker
Yeah. Hell yeah, man. Yes. Yes, Nikki. It is the reason why we can't have a big Christmas tree and I'm not getting rid of it anytime soon. So, that well sick we got to upgrade to a bigger place and it's something about a Christmas tree. in here We are actually going to be in November releasing right now. We have three new Christmas songs that's going to be released in November. Yeah. Oh, nice.
01:20:21
Speaker
I'll be able to play those on our Christmas show we do every year. Yeah, we we did it last year and then we we want to put more so we can get a we want to actually put enough to have a whole album. Are these original Christmas songs or some of the like popular Christmas songs that everybody's here? You know, the classics. Yeah. Classics. Okay. Cool. And right now, as of right now, but there there will be some originals I would think at some point. Yes. Yes. There's definitely. some I hate to say something about Zach top but he does have a Christmas song or two that's pretty damn good. You gotta to get check out around Christmas time. He does. He does. Uh we need some more good Christmas music. I'm a sucker. I'm a sucker for Christmas music over and over and over again. You know, we need some new stuff. Yeah. I agree. You know, something
01:21:18
Speaker
you know, we, and like I said, that'd be cool because we, we, we should generally do not like super Christmas theme, but it's Christmas. Right. I'll play the hell out of the, out of the Christmas. You'll be like, Hey guys, Southern outlaws Christmas enjoy. fuckers Hell yeah. Hell yeah. When Arliss had the radio. When Arliss did the radio.

But we do have one. It's called saying I'm messing with the kid. Yeah. Yeah. I'm messing with the kid. I'm surprised with that one. Yeah. And then Dave did one. Yeah. Yeah.
01:23:06
Speaker
It's got a wedding song too. Yeah. Really good. Popular wedding song. Yeah. Very good. Popular. Very good song. That damn video gentlemen. That damn video gentlemen. I had to go get some tissues. It's really good. It's an original song. Yeah. Yeah.
01:23:28
Speaker
Hey, there you go, man. You land that sucker. I'll tell you what, those wedding songs, that's where it's at. You land you a good wedding song. I get Sharon's damn, uh, you know what I'm talking about. That song that you can't get out of a wedding without hearing. Well, dude I started writing it when they got engaged and that was a year and a half ago and I, I thought, okay, I got to do something. I didn't say not, not a word to anybody for months. So I started writing this whole thing come down to about two months before the wedding. I changed everything up. I just threw everything away and I sat down. I went outside my parents garage and it was like what maybe 40 degrees or something like that and I started sitting there and started writing. It's good. I recorded what I did. I think let me just this and then play it and then anyways, I finished it all up. We went to the studio. We recorded it. I released it and it was just like she had no she had no idea that I did this for her. She cried
01:24:27
Speaker
prior time the rest of the night, you can look at me. Yeah, she couldn't even look at me the rest of the night. She just kind of like start crying and I had the honor of marrying them. Yep. he Yeah. oh know Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And uh it was one of the coolest days because it's very special. Very special day for everybody. It was it was it's it's an absolutely beautiful song and the video is it is you have to check it out. I guess I haven't heard this one yet it's on youtube
01:24:57
Speaker

I'm going to check that out, man. I am one of my best friends. Well, he's he's my brother, Waylon Collins. He also makes some music and stuff, man. He's a writer. I'm not really much of a writer. Now I call him anytime of the day and he's, it's all he does is write songs. why he's driving now right He's making them up. He makes up so many songs in a day. He forgets the first 10 of the day. You know, it's just how he rolls. That's just the song. Um, yeah, he's really good, man. You know, he's just like us. He's not a super.
01:25:44
Speaker
super big or anything like that. Just small town dude who can write a really good song, man. I'll tell you what, you ought to really, ya you writing songs, man. I bet you can write a good song. He's a really good songwriter, strong at throwing ideas off of man. Really good. That's a major talent to be able to do that.
01:26:04
Speaker
He can write those tearjerker songs. He can, he can write, sing me a song about this whole scenario. It could be something just bizarre. Like somebody maybe going through a, you know, real life shit where maybe they got cancer, they go to the hospital, whatever the case may be, dude, he'll write a tearjerker. And I'll be like, man, what made you think of that? and' like I don't know. It's just a scenario in my head. I'm like, what? thats deathly yeah likey It seems like a real story.
01:26:30
Speaker
This is the secret to writing sometimes. It's just about listening to what's going on around you. And you can pick up any kind of topic, anything, you know, I mean, and that's what I do. I listen and maybe I'll write it. Well, plus experiences that we've been through. right Yeah. and through just But you just got to know how to format it. i mean and I've told my son that before. I said, Jason, I'm not a songwriter, but I'll tell you this. Every damn country song starts out I this or I that or me this or me that. Maybe they like you say, listen to other people's stories and write songs about their stories. Quit making it about you and I this. We know you're an outlaw. I'm guilty of it. Okay. You wrote a song about getting in trouble in a small town. It's all about you. It's all about you.
01:27:16
Speaker
but no, whenever you listen to the stories around you that are real heart, uh, you know, heartfelt tearjerker stories that you're like, man, I really feel bad for that person. And that's how he is. I feel like my brother Waylon, man, he's really good at remembering things or events, and then he can put them into words. I don't, I don't know how he does it. It's just a gift, man. It's a gift. yeah That's the nice thing that I could wind up saying

Independent Music Success

Speaker
for the song. Yeah. tell you Yeah. Yeah. They got some good lyrics. Yeah. Yeah. I don't I don't contribute to that at all. I just sit back there and beat the drums. I i couldn't I couldn't write a song with my life dependent on it. Oh yeah. The four or five songs that I've heard y'all cut, man. Even y'all's couple of those. Like you said, those covers that y'all wrote four walls away from. Dude, I grew up on that song. So, to hear y'all version of it was badass. You know what I mean? Hell yeah. The same cool song that I've been listening to since i was piece right and it's in a different a different sound the different from a different perspective I love I love hearing that man and even though there's originals I've only thought I didn't listen to every single one of them, I'm gonna go check out that daughter's day one that that sounds goodier man good good
01:28:31
Speaker
that we wind up doing the southern outlaws right now is on yeah it's hard but guitars is number fifty one on the pop rock chart good and now are you guys technically on a label or no oh wow we actually on our own label we have our own label okay so y'all got publish and y'all got your own publishing l lc and shit yes yeah okay cool cool yeah that's the way to do it man i feel like you're doing it right i don't know nothing about it but for what i do understand of it i think that that's the route to go um yeah your the s sob records yeah is what it's ah put under very good
01:29:11
Speaker

01:33:40
Speaker

01:35:02
Speaker
i stay guys dog and how
01:35:09
Speaker
Yeah, man, I got I just i got a thing for the hard working, uh, the independent guys, man, even like you're like starting out while I was man going doing their own thing, getting their own publishing LLC and stuff. Even guys like up church. I've been following up church for many, many years, man. And these these guys who just decide to maybe it's not the path of least resistance, but it's the path that makes you happy.
01:35:31
Speaker
that's, that's the one to take, man. So I always follow, I always follow that. And I like that, man. Good. Just hustle hard and whatever happens, that's what's what supposed to happen. like at all selfade Yeah. Well, the big thing of it is the the days of the big named record labels are a thing of the past. Yeah, that's all done. Yeah. I mean, dude, listen, nobody's stopping you from going and shaking somebody's hand and saying, this is who I am. I am this person and this is what I do. Uh, you can find me on Facebook or YouTube or whatever, which I suck at all that stuff. But yeah, you're right, man. Nobody needs those guys. Nobody needs them guys. You know, the one thing I would, you know,
01:36:15
Speaker
digital streaming.

Audience Connection and Recognition

01:36:17
Speaker
Um, and the biggest thing of it is, is, um, it's all about, you know, the performance aspect of it. And one thing we made a rule from the very beginning, we will not wind up charging anybody for an OVIP experience. nope You want to come hang out and party with us. All is welcome. We will charge for an autograph.
01:36:42
Speaker
the the That's it. You take that little bit of time to wind up signing an autograph or take a picture with somebody. Be nice. To us. That's us paying them back for coming out to a show. Hell yeah. Hell yeah. Take a drink. Yeah. Already. I will not wind up charging them to wind up having to take a picture with us. No. Yeah. Yeah. that's
01:37:36
Speaker
That's the way it should be, man. i Like my buddy Roger Smithburger just popped in here a little bit ago, man. I can go back like, this is probably seven, eight years ago. He walked into a yarnal and he's seen a flyer with my picture on it and shit for that night. And he ripped it off and he came up to me. and He said, Hey man, will you sign this? And I was like, yeah, of course I'll sign it, bro. And he's been around since the very beginning. So I signed this, uh, signed the flyer. Now, every time I go to his house and we're hanging out drinking a couple of beers,
01:38:02
Speaker
He's got that flyer in a damn picture frame up there with other people's flyers and shit. And I'm just a nobody, dude. I'm just Josh. And he's got me up there with all these badass dudes. I'm like, man, you're making me feel special right now, too. Well, you know what? That's pretty much how we are. That's cool, I mean, to have that. i mean Yeah, because we owe it to them. They come out, man. that it Without them, it would be so boring.
01:38:31
Speaker
That's right. 100% where you come from and forget about the people that supported you along the way. That's when you start, you know, losing touch with reality yeah but from the very beginning. Do we want to be playing call of seal? Yes. Yeah. Well, the thing of it is people have to realize you're Taylor Swift's of the world. You're Leonard skinners, all of them. They were all local musicians at one time. I ain't selling my soul be no famous person. no now i heard that that's That's one of the things I'm excited you know to be able to come out and be a part of what you guys are doing and and put our name out there some more. yeah The following weekend there's a
01:39:25
Speaker
There's an axe throwing place here in town, and they're doing their big one year anniversary. and they're It's National Beer Day, and they're having all kinds of beer specials. And we're there. We're there. Yeah. Beer. Beer Day. Yeah. We'll stop there. We're good. Show me how to get there. Yeah. is it And then ah then they're doing, um it's it's beard lovers days or something like that. So they're doing a big beard competition.
01:39:51
Speaker
And they invited me to come out. I'm going to do the show live from there. let's thing gonna get yeah comedy there and here you go all Unfortunately, I'm not allowed, but I wanted to. ah
01:40:05
Speaker
yeah She told me I could, but first she said I'm not allowed. No, I'll be busy. I'll be busy doing other things hosting the show. And I'm excited to get out there because let people know, hey, there's a guy in the community that's doing something that other you know you guys might enjoy that. I want to be able to stick my foot in the door. And I want to do more things. I live down in Central Ohio.
01:40:27
Speaker
but I want to do more things in my area. I want to be able to go out to Christmas tree, you know, the square lighting and do the show from it or different venues, whatever, when things are going on and be able to just do a live show there and be able to talk to people. You know, I want to interview the owners of the acts in some place and obviously the competitors and the beard competition and stuff like that while we're live on the show. But I'm excited to get out there, you know, get our name out there, get out there and be a, you know, more of a,
01:40:57
Speaker
Cause I'm always shocked when I run into somebody in town, I'll like run into sheets or something and it'll be like, man, you sound just like this guy on a podcast. Yeah. I'm like, but oh yeah what's the name of the podcast? And then they'll be like, Oh, it's a nonsense or whatever. And I'll be like, Like that good guy. And I'm like, yeah, I'm that good guy. Or.
01:41:23
Speaker
you know, I couple years back, when we were first starting, I was, I was door dashing to make a little extra money. And I delivered to the local campus, a bunch of frat bros, drunken, drunk as hell. And I knocked on the door, the guy answered the door, he's like, Holy shit, are you Glick? And I'm like, Yeah, do I know you? They're like, we fucking love your podcast, dude. We listen all the time. and They were super cool. Bullshit with them for like 1520 minutes. They were super cool.
01:41:53
Speaker
Yeah, you got that's cool stuff. Whatever you drive, you got on your car, truck, you get advertisements. Not yet. Not yet. But I want to. We were talking about that the other day. Like I said, I'd like to make a QR code and stuff like that. So I haven't done it yet.
01:42:15
Speaker
ah yeah We're in the process. i want I want to get some stuff out. I'd like to get my get me some shirts and stuff like that that I can wear around town and all that stuff. so yeah you yeah Decorate your car or truck or whatever you drive with it. That's a major huge advertisement. You're a rolling billboard, man. Do that. Yeah, yeah exactly. like Yeah, there's a couple local shops here in town that I want to reach out to so they can make me some make me some vinyls for, you know, once we get the QR code and, and then do some vinyls that I can put on my car. It's just a matter of getting it done and doing it and finding the time i service. It took off like crazy. its It's a rolling billboard. Yeah. Yeah. That's a great way to do it, man. Especially being an MC man. It's going to be, it's gonna it's always nice to have somebody that knows how to talk. I'm, I'm never been a real great MC to be honest with you.
01:43:12
Speaker
That's why I just pack more material into my head. And so, because whenever I'm in a, it depends on my mood, man. I, there's nothing I can do about the way I'm made, but if I'm in not a very talkative mood, I'll just sing you a song because I'm not a good talker.
01:43:26
Speaker
oh Yeah. But it's nice to have an MC at these. I'll be honest. I have no idea what I'm doing. ye Well, just being a talker, man. That's that's all you gotta to do. Just be good at talking to the people, man. You'll do fine. be great We'll give you a couple. We are looking really so forward to this. Yeah, we're very excited. Excited. Yeah. I'm super excited. I'm still ah ah ah nervous, a little bit nervous, but like the guys on the show tell me, they're like,
01:43:54
Speaker
Click, you know, as soon as you have a beer in your hand and a microphone in your hand, they're going to have to drag you on that stage. more ohio yeah I'm like, I'm like, yeah, yeah. I'm down in, uh, I'm down in central Ohio. I'm down by Columbus. You're hawking hills. I wish. No, I'm, uh, I'm in, uh, I'm in, uh, uh, Newark or Newark, Ohio. Oh hi yeah. Yeah. No, we're new. cause Yeah. Cool. But uh, no, I wish I lived in Hocking Hills, man.

Local Culture and Podcast Expansion

01:44:28
Speaker
That's beautiful country. down it is a beautiful place Yeah. That's a cool ass place. You don't got a hunt. You just got to drive around until you hit one. no shit Yeah. Yeah. That's how it is in Arkansas, where I'm from, man. Holy shit in Arkansas. Yeah. You just better drive slow because you're going to be getting some beer. That's for sure. and and back Back home. I grew up up by Mount Vernon. i They're in Knox County and man.
01:44:53
Speaker
my sister, I fortunately never hit a deer accidentally. Uh, but my sister, when we were in high school and stuff, it was like every other day she would, I hit a deer on the way home. You hit one on purpose though. Thank God you drive accidentally hit one, but you know, I've heard plenty on purpose. me the they didn't call They didn't call my truck a deer slayer for no reason. Yeah. he Yeah. Same here, man. My first couple of cars, poor cars, bro, poor cars.
01:45:23
Speaker
you know, you didn't need a tag to and to run one. earth like That's right. You know, we gotta go. We're going to have to say good tonight. See you guys. I appreciate you guys coming through. Oh, yeah. Yes. We can't wait. We can't wait. We can't wait. Looking forward. Yeah. Yeah. I'm looking forward to it guys. I'll see y'all the thirty-first. Yeah. Yeah. See y'all in a couple of weeks. Well, definitely. He'll help right at night on talking ****
01:45:51
Speaker
all in well All right. See you guys later, man. Appreciate y'all. Bye, boys. Take it easy. All right. Take care. See you in the next chat. I love those guys. They were so much fun. we I had them on and interviewed them.
01:46:13
Speaker
and
01:46:16
Speaker
Typically, the show's like two hours. We went five hours. oh okay we were we I used to do the show on Friday nights, so we were all feeling real good at the end of the show. Yeah, yeah Friday night. You run late on a Friday. night Yeah, they were a great group of guys. I'm i'm very thankful that hunt that Hunter introduced me to them. Sounds like you've had some interaction with them.
01:46:44
Speaker
Yeah. that's I was going to say you ever met Dave or any of them got not yet. yeah Not in person. Oh man. They're they're all ho man. They all got they all got personality but Dave specifically man for some reason he cracks me up. dude He's just he's got a very contagious smile and personality that you just can't help but be infatuated by you know.
01:47:07
Speaker
um Yeah, they're they're a good group of dudes, man. Arliss, he busts his ass, dude. He's always, yeah I don't think he says no to anything. You know, he's not saying yes to every opportunity.
01:47:22
Speaker
and You know, he comes up, he comes up in the, we call it the chatter's box, where we're when we're live, that we're always live doing the shows. ah and And the chat, he'll come up in the chat and, you know, like,
01:47:35
Speaker
When I do this show, he'll he'll come in and offer advice to the artist. And I had three kick-ass young ladies on a couple months, about a month or so back. They did a they did a show out in LA, which was a huge success for them. And I was super happy and proud of them. But it was Women Rock LA. And it was an all-fema cast all all singers and music artists. They had a comedian. She was doing the MCN. They had a female DJ.
01:48:05
Speaker
And, uh, our list was in the chat, pretty much the whole show, chatting, not giving the girls advice, offering them tips and everything else legit. Good guys. Um, I think that's really good for the industry, the entertainment industry. You need people like that, that, that.
01:48:24
Speaker
are a little bit older and and and have been around for a while that are willing to sit down and be like, you know, hey, let me, let me offer you somehow, uh, you know, and, and not want anything for it just to do it. Yeah. the kind yeah For sure. he said oh I made a joke in passing one night about this show coming up. And then like a week later, Arliss was like, so, uh, Sandy and I were talking and, uh, the job's yours if you want it. I was like,
01:48:49
Speaker
Oh, correct yeah oh yeah um but over I'm sorry you not yeah no i'm excited you' been really excited. I'm super excited. You got the personality board man and I'm a true believer that all it takes dude and whether it be MC and whether it be singing playing guitar like my son does any of these people that are just local guys a lot of times all it takes is somebody that they don't know from Adam saying You got it. That's all it takes is just stop for two seconds and say, you know what, man, you got something. I don't know what it is, but you got something. And then they'll either pursue it or they won't. That's what happened to me 10 years ago. yeah Hell yeah. That's why I tell people all the time. I said, you never know whose ears or whose eyes are going to see what you're doing.
01:49:42
Speaker
and all it takes is that one person and then next thing you know, it's it's so it's a whirlwind and you're just hanging on trying to survive. survive yeah yeah It's true. It's just a matter of staying staying with it and staying persistent. I think we do a good job here um you know with our... Hell, i we have seven shows and I'm doing... That's what I was saying. You do shit every day of the week almost, huh?
01:50:09
Speaker
Yeah. So we have Monday night is men caring for men, which is currently hosted by me. And then we, my main co-host, he had back surgery. He tore up his back when he was in the army and he had a first surgery. Connor i had his first surgery and the surgeon fucked him all up. So he had to have another surgery. Now he's good. We're just waiting on him to recover and come back and he'll, he'll actually be taken over that show.
01:50:32
Speaker
So I'll be stepping down because my plate is pretty full. I do five of the seven shows. Then I do this show on Tuesday night. And then I host Wednesday nights with a couple of the guys, which is our what the fuck news. Thursday night, well, every other Thursday, we just started but with my son. it's He's a big wrestling fan. I'm a big wrestling fan. So he was like, we were sitting here talking one night and I was like, dude, would you be interested in having your own show? And he was like, a wrestling show? And I was like, yeah.
01:51:02
Speaker
He was like, Oh yeah. So, you know, he's, he's working through his nerves and finding his voice, but you know, like that's his show. I co-host it with him. Uh, then Fridays, one of the guys does, uh, whose argument is that anyways, it's like, uh, it's a comedy based. Yeah. Blaze. Yeah.
01:51:23
Speaker
I fucking love Blake. He's such a good dude. And he's been he's been really stepping up to help fill out or fill in for Connor, with Connor being out. And I just love sitting down and conversating with him. One day he's been filling in. And it's so fun to conversate with and just talk with. And we got a nice little connection.
01:51:47
Speaker
but he does his show on Fridays and then Saturdays is the big show. And that's actually a six hour show. We do six hours every Saturday night and we drop a link in the chat, right? Anybody anybody and and anybody and everybody that's watching, we're like, if you guys want to come up and hang out with us, just hit the link. It's in the chat. And you know, we have, unfortunately we have to have the rule of please keep your penis off camera because Unfortunately, we've seen more pictures than we've ever wanted to see in our lives. Like, oh, me go all over again. Yeah. And then Jeff does, uh, Jeff's garage on, on Saturday, which is like a car motorcycle, man cave type type of show. but They say if it fits in the garage or in this kind of motor, they're going to talk about it. Yeah. Like lady said, blazes.
01:52:35
Speaker
please is good peach He's a good dude. So are you and Blaze like buddies from back when or y'all just kind of get through on this network here and meet each other? he we We kind of sort of knew each other on a previous platform that we were on.
01:52:52
Speaker
but we were kind of in two different worlds, two different circles, so to say. And he actually stepped away from social media for his own mental health for a little while. Then he came back and he started watching our show and he was kind of like a troll, but not like a dickhead troll. And he would just be dropping one-liners and shit. And then one night he came in as himself in the chat and I was like, yo man, if you're you're feeling frisky, why don't you jump up on? And he came on on that Saturday night He hasn't left since. So that connection, like, like we've known each other for forever. And and we like I said, I look forward to being able to get on and chitchat with him and talk to him. And, you know, the men's mental health show is great because we don't come on there as experts. We come on there as just guys who have been through
01:53:43
Speaker
life. and we've yeah You know, I've got anxiety and yeah, I've dealt with anxiety and depression pretty much most of my life. So just talking about experiences and stuff like that, just talking about real life shit, hopefully, you know, being able to help somebody else, but also, you know, trying to do our small part in erasing that stigmatism that's and's mental health and being like, it's all right to not be all right, so to say at the end of the day. Yeah, yeah.
01:54:13
Speaker
Yeah, like like he's another friend of ours that we we knew from one one of the other platforms. Yeah, you definitely knew him better than I did. I had only come across him a a couple of times and had like one interaction with him on the previous platform. Cheers to you, Roger. Yeah, please is one of those good solid dudes. that you know if you're his friends If you're his friend, have your back, so.
01:54:39
Speaker
Yeah. Yeah. I think that's, that's important with these podcasts, man. Find somebody like you say that you're on the, you know, tenacious with on the same brain with the brain wave with the juke and bounce ideas. And, uh, yeah, there, it'll be for the people that it's supposed to be for. It's just like playing music. Don't play a bunch of music that necessarily I do play some of the music that I don't care for just here and there. But mostly if you come out, you can request all night, but I'm going to play stuff that I enjoy and,
01:55:08
Speaker
ah that way. I attract the people that want to hear that so I don't have to do what I don't want to do. You always just want to be be you hit the topics you like hang out and talk with the boys you like with and you'll find the audience will find you. You'll find the audience and that's longevity. You know, because now now those people are we we say, you know, they got to report with you. They start to learn you. They like you. They know you. Oh, yeah. Yeah, we we've we've ah but you know We've been doing it for three years, but I you know i like to tell people, we go back and listen to some of our older stuff. And and it was not it was not good. In the last year or so, we've really started to find our rhythm. and And we were doing the same show three nights a week. We were doing nonsenseful nonsense, well, nonsense, three nights a week. It was the same thing just coming on here and just being absolute lunatics. And it was like,
01:56:00
Speaker
ah told I told my my main co-host, Jeff, who i him and I have known each other since we were like 15. I was like, dude, we got we got to start evolving and changing the game up a little bit. We started changing some of the shows around and keeping nonsensical nonsense on Saturday. And then it was like this network thing came about and it was like, it's not really a quote unquote real network but it's our network and we're we're we're doing things where something different every night of the week also shows a little bit different side of me hosting so many different shows people can see crazy ass Chris on Saturday and the more serious on on Mondays and Tuesdays and then
01:56:40
Speaker
you know, get to see us be a little, little fun and laid back on Wednesdays and whatnot. And then me and my son, it's literally just him and I hanging out, having the normal wrestling conversations that we would have out on the couch when we're watching. Exactly. Be trans, be yourself and be transparent and don't change at all. And that, you know, you can never go wrong with that, man. Uh, I think that's exactly, I've always said that. I've always said that as well, man, with music and stuff I do is exactly what I do on my couch or in my living room.
01:57:09
Speaker
I just take it wherever the hell they're wanting it at, you know what I mean? And that odd has always made me feel like I'm just being mean dude. I'm just doing whatever I would do in my natural normal life. And if you enjoy it, hell yeah. That's that's what I tell everybody. The guy you see on screen is the same exact guy you're going to get in real life. And I always want to be like that, bro. Yeah, I'm a goofball. I try to love, ah you know, I didn't enjoy life. I mean, hell, I mean, even yeah i I don't know why she puts up with me, but like we'll be out at the will we'll be out dinner or in a store or something. I'll say some of the most random off-the-wall shit. And I don't have a quiet voice, you know but I'm also not like yelling to make sure everybody hears me. I'm just saying random shit. A couple of hours over, you'll feel somebody laugh or I'll say something.
01:58:02
Speaker
that a guy would find amusing, immature. You'll hear somebody's husband would start to chuckle. Oh, I don't get them started. Yeah. Yeah. hell yeah Yeah. You got to keep it light, man. Life's too short. You got to keep it light and just have fun. Uh, I do believe I'm sure with your thing, it's exactly like ours, man. Whenever, whenever it comes to music, do that. I find,
01:58:26
Speaker
what I like and I try to follow that and I try to do that the best I can. Probably same with you guys. You know, you probably got other podcasts you watch and you gotta come up with a plan that's like, okay, well, this has gotta be me, but I'm gonna, you know, start planning better. Whatever the case may be as a podcaster, you know what I mean? You might have a bullet you wanna hit on just to kind of keep it rolling. I don't know what it takes to be an MC podcaster, but I'm sure that you can gain a lot of inspiration from other other podcasts.
01:58:54
Speaker
I'll tell you, for the most part, most of the shows, and I think this is where you get another level of authenticity, is right off the top of our our Saturday nights is just right off the top of our head. It's 100% freestyle right off the top of our heads. That's the one thing about Jeff and I is that there's never a moment where the conversation stops. And if we reach a point on a topic, one of us will roll it into something else right now on the fly. yeah but Wednesday nights is a little bit more planned because we come with news stories. We we come with actual news stories. yeah i like whatever spot hopping the buck of wait one
01:59:34
Speaker
Yeah. You know, Monday nights for the, for the mental health show, either myself or one of the other guys would be like, Hey, I'd kind of like to talk about this this week. All right. Well, that's what we're going to talk about. I'll look up a couple things or whatever, but again, mainly at this, and then this show, I, like I tell everybody, it's not your typical interview show because I've had people who are like, I've never done interviews. I don't know what to do. I'm like.
01:59:56
Speaker
just come on the show. Am I asking a couple, obviously the obvious questions, but it's just a hangout. We're just going to get see a different side of you there. I'll have some of your music. I'll play, you know, we'll take a little breaks. I didn't take any breaks tonight on purpose. I didn't want to interrupt the flow of the conversation on purpose tonight. Sure. Um, but, uh, which by the way, I would love to have you up again, just one-on-one you and I down there. Um, but, uh,
02:00:28
Speaker
It's just come in and hang out, let people get to know you, kind of know what you're about. I'll handle the music side of it. I never ask anybody to perform on the show. I've had one guy do it. And that was his choice. He was like, I got my guitar, but we were talking about one of his songs. He's like, I got my guitar back here. If you want me to play, I was like, shit. All right. But that also made the show better for him because he's not comfortable talking. He's more in his element.
02:00:54

with the guitar in his hand. So once he did that, once he did that live, he kind of came out of his shell, which was awesome. Yeah, I'm kind of like that too. I know where he comes from, man. Sometimes it's, it's hard to know, you know, you don't know people. It's, it's just easier to sing a damn song because we can relate to that. You know what I mean? um and And I'm a lot like that too.
02:01:16
Speaker
But no, I actually I'll be honest with you, dude. So tonight I forgot completely about my kids open house, but I had planned on going to five fours distillery because she had offered me come down there tonight at like six thirty or something. and She was just wanting to talk and bullshit and talk about some of the stuff on thirty first. Well, I was going to go down there and I expected to get this phone call down there and I was going to play a song on here live if you wanted to for fun from down there.
02:01:40
Speaker
but now my son and my girl is going to school for school tomorrow. So I'm like, I don't want to start jamming and you know, making a bunch of ruckus but I'll definitely play a song on here. Jamming. Oh, yeah.
02:01:56
Speaker
freebir Free bird. bird. Hell he no b Brian. Hell no, Brian.
02:02:07
Speaker
Yeah, like you said I said, I would love to have you a heavy come back on and and and do a one-on-one thing. And I'll hold you to it and be like, hey, get that guitar down and let's ah let's let's yes hear something. Yeah, I'm down, bro.
02:02:19
Speaker
I'll have to look at my calendar to see what, uh, where I'm sitting at. you Like I said, this, this is kinda taken off and become its own little monster. And I'm, I'm loving it, man. I'm having so much fun hanging out with the musicians and and then being able to share their music across, across the network. it Blaze hit me up today for his show Friday. He was like, Hey.
02:02:41
Speaker
Am I going to get a copyright strike if I play one of the bands that and we started with? Blacktop Mojo. They're one of my favorite. Oh, nice to oh yeah. I love those guys. ah we've We've had Matt on the show. I'm trying to get Matt on this show, but they're so busy. But when we first started the podcast, before we ever did an episode, I knew I wanted to take breaks. And I just, I don't know when, I said, send them a message on Instagram, said, hey, huge fan. I stumbled across you guys on YouTube. It was a cover of Phil Collins that they did. And I've been a fan ever since.
02:03:16
Speaker
Yes, me too, bro. I've been a fan ever since, you know, but I'm just starting a podcast. Would it be cool if we use your music for break? I didn't think I was going to hear back from him.
02:03:28
Speaker
less than five minutes. Boom. Matt, the lead singer, messaged me back. Hey man, absolutely. Play the hell out of our music. Give us shout outs. You know, I was like, yeah, I got you covered on the shout outs and all that. ah He's like, play the hell out of it. We appreciate you guys. And we played them for like two years. We didn't play anybody else, but then we were just playing their music. And, um, and, and I thought that was so we've had Matt on the show and I'm working on getting the guys on the Uh, working on getting the guys on the show again, but like I said, they come off tour and they're home for like a week and then they're right back on tour. It's like, I just got a lot of momentum bro. i top mojo dude They got, they got a lot of momentum. And like you said, did that same video.
02:04:10
Speaker
yeah Wow that wow out a lot of people that thing went viral as hell man of them in that warehouse doing that acoustic shit And that's what people like there was no production. It was very raw. It was very real I'm even considering doing some songs like that. There's so much shit down here and Warren broke down all warehouses and shit I'm all I'm all into like old abandoned cool shit ah I got a little YouTube man and sometimes I go on YouTube. I do like camping cooks and stuff I like going camping and stuff like that, but I also like uh, I history, dude. to It's weird how much infrastructure is out there that, uh, it's just, it's just there. Nobody's using it. It's just, it's just there. It's run itself in the ground. Yeah, it's, it's, it's, yeah, no, and you know, there's a lot of, there's a lot of history in Ohio, you know? Oh yeah. probably There's a lot of, I mean, hell, just in my little town where I am, there's ton of freaking history here. Um,
02:05:11
Speaker
But yeah, that that would be that would be really cool. One of the guys I had on here, Josh Merritt, used to do, he he would do like these weekly videos where he would just be at a campfire or in an old abandoned building. And it would just be for TikTok or whatever, like a minute long video, two minute long video.
02:05:33
Speaker
it's just him doing either one of his songs or a cover around by a fire or in a random ass building. Now, he's doing stuff just randomly on the sidewalk. He'll be like, oh, this is like a cool building. I'll I'm going to do a little TikTok video here of me singing, you know, yeah, which is really cool. I like I like that kind of stuff. I like like you said the wall stuff. Yeah, just go in and fucking say, hey, hey, hey, and listen to that. Listen, listen. Does it sound like a place you want to fucking sing a song?
02:06:03
Speaker
and Well, if it sounds kind of cool, then bust out an acoustic guitar and sing one and record it, man. That's what I feel like those guys in Blacktop Mojo did that day. They just found this random big place. They went in, they listened to the ah natural reverb and they say, yep, this is it. And yeah it was a hit.
02:06:21
Speaker
and i They do that with a lot of their, they'll do that with a lot of stuff. I mean, they've gotten, they've got some covers that they've done where it's like, I just walk in the studio and I don't even know if half that stuff's even on in the studio. They just get in there and they just start playing anding and singing. Um, they did, um, they did their own cover slash rendition of my girl. And when they were released the big, they did an acoustic video and they were in this old big church and it was just.
02:06:53
Speaker
Matt on Matt singing and Kat on a acoustic guitar and it sounded fucking amazing. Yeah.
02:07:05
Speaker
You know, you you can't you can't beat that kind of stuff. but yeah um yeah usually that gots work with that guy here ashley Yeah, that's That's a cool, cool little merit. That's the anger, bro.
02:07:20
Speaker
They're super cool guys. They were in Columbus a couple years back. And they were just at this small hole-in-the-wall bar. And I was debating if I was going to go or not. And the guys around the show, they're like, dude, this is one of your favorite bands. It's like 20 bucks to get in. You know if you don't go, you're going to be mad. And I'm like, all right, all right, all right, all right. And even up until the day of the show, I'm standing beside my car still debating it. But I went, and I'm glad that I did because Small little hole in the wall bar, downtown Columbus, and I was two feet away from from from the guys the whole time. So that was super cool. Yeah, there's a lot too, live shows, man, the way that they make you feel. And you go home with your wheels spinning, bro, after live shows. Dude, something about it just inspires your inside now. Yep, absolutely.
02:08:16
Speaker
um I do want to get ready and and and wrap this up. But like I said, I'll get with you. I'll hit you up. I'll look at my calendar and see. Yeah, let me know, man. I think um'm i think i've got think I've got interviews scheduled.
02:08:30
Speaker
from the, into the first couple of weeks of September, but I'll, I'll hit you up and let you know. I'd love to have you come on and, and have a one-on-one and, uh, maybe we'll get you, we'll get you to get the old. man Yeah. I'd love to, man. I'll play you some songs. Yeah. Hell yeah. Yeah. I gotta, I gotta get on call of duty and beat some ass right now. So, uh,
02:08:51
Speaker
I actually took over my son's PS4 whenever he got the PS5. I don't really play games much, but. I say I'm not a gamer, but everybody says no, I'm probably your game is my. ah
02:09:04
Speaker
Yeah, yeah, you play on a PC I. No, no, no, no, no, no, I play on my Xbox. Okay, I have the.
02:09:15
Speaker
but Call of Duty is one of those cross chin. Oh, yeah. just back So I'll have to I'll send you my like call of duty gamer tag. Oh, yeah. If you want to get some dubs, man, you just come around with me and the crew. We'll get them dubs, baby. i I have the new Xbox and when I bought that one, I put my old one in my son's room, the Xbox one or whatever. So now he's he's getting into playing Call of Duty.
02:09:44
Speaker
And every time they call duty out there, like, yeah, he's like, I'm joining you. All right, let's go. Me and my son, man, he's 14. We're just getting to where we game together and stuff. And I'm not gonna say I'm not much of a gamer, but we had this extra console. So I started playing with it and we play together. It's fun as hell, man. Let's get it, Randy. Yeah, hell yeah.
02:10:04
Speaker
Uh, yeah, no, we, yeah, we, my son, uh, just turned 11, but he's, he's, he's always been a little gamer. He used to play Fortnite and again, he big wrestling fans. So he enjoys playing, uh,
02:10:18
Speaker
playing the wrestling video games and stuff like that. And every once in a while I'll pop in his bedroom and he beats the hell out. I used to play wrestling games all the time and I was good. He beats the hell out of me. He literally just beats the absolute. And then he talks shit to me. I'm like, really, dude? Okay. I see how it is.
02:10:38
Speaker
Yeah, whatever we get off here, man. I'll shoot you off want a message of my uh my PlayStation name or whatever. So, maybe we can somehow link up. I'm not breaking the technology but we can figure it out. We'll link up and get some dubs, bro.
02:10:53
Speaker
Yeah, I think I'll have to. I think I'll have to uh get your uh oh Jesus. What is the damn Activision account number or some **** yeah Yeah. It's like your activation gamer tag is what I'll have to get since you're on PlayStation. Yeah. But yeah, no, we'll have to, we'll have to, had a, but and and and I know he's been busy and just moved, but I see he's been on more. One of the, one of my previous guests, Derek Wayne Douglas, he's down there out of Nashville. hes He's a big, he's a big Call of Duty guy.
02:11:27
Speaker
but he was right in the middle of moving, but I've been seeing him on more often. I got to hit him up sometime to be like, yeah, let's run this shit. Watching your show, man, and kind of keeping up with some of the shit you got going on. I'm pretty new to the, the Glick fan club, man. But whenever I see you on there live and I'm not doing shit, I'll hop in and kind of see what y'all are bullshitting about.
02:11:46
Speaker
keep goinging ah Yeah, I absolutely i appreciate it, man. you know yeah If we're ever live, don't be shy in the chatters box. That's why we do the live shows. We do them live because we we try to stay we and interact as much as we can with the with the chat and put the chats up on the screen and and talk to them and engage with them. um That's one of the reasons that we We love doing the live shows sure and then Saturday nights are so fun because we never know who, if anybody's going to actually hit that link and come up on the show and hang out with us. We had another podcaster pop in a Saturday night. He was super cool. And you know, while we're live, we're following each other back and making sure that we're following it, you know, all the the accounts and everything like that. So what you share some sort of link to the, to the chat and people can just join it.
02:12:41
Speaker
Yeah. So I can actually, when we're getting ready to end it. So it's not that big of a deal, but I can actually figure out how to copy that. And then I don't know if you can see, if if you can see the chat screen on your side, but I can just.
02:13:01
Speaker
you might have to hit that but I can drop it in the chat and it actually comes up on and it automatically goes to Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch but it'll come up on the screen like that or it'll come up in the chat box. Oh, I see it. That's the stream yard. Yeah, same link. All you have to do is just click on it and you pop right up into the studio automatically. That's pretty cool, man. Pretty cool. Hey, listen, you're speaking another language to me.
02:13:29
Speaker
Yeah, right. Hey, I'm still learning this shit too. yeah I'm just, I'm just, uh, I'm just a big dumb animal. Just pushing buttons over here at the end of the day and whatever works, works. I'm like, Hey, okay. Stop the buttons. We're good. I'll keep doing it, bro. Keep doing it. Cause you'll, you'll learn something from it. The temptation to, click we're getting ready to leave anyways. that's all Oh yeah. We've got to get out of here, lady.
02:13:58
Speaker
We're about to, we're about to end it up anyway. So I did, I did, I had to, dude, I had to scour. We gotta get you, we gotta get you more active on the social medias. We gotta get you to drop in videos and yeah stuff like that. Yeah, for sure, bro. Yeah. It would be, it'd be pretty interesting. I just.
02:14:16
Speaker
I don't know, bro. I'm too worried about fishing and shit. But if you show me the way, bro, I mean, we'll run down the road. We'll do it. We're like, all right. got I got a few hours free on ah on a Friday. yeah We're making a road trip. Where are you at in Ohio? where Where are you at in Ohio? So I'm in Cortland, Ohio, not very far from Newton falls. Why? How far are you from Newton falls from the show place?
02:14:41
Speaker
Uh, I think we're just under two hours. Wow. Yeah. So you're traveling a minute for that. Yeah. Well, it's, it's nice because it's, so we're, we're actually coming up Thursday night. Uh, my fiance is a doctor's appointment at Erie Friday morning.
02:15:02
Speaker
And then Friday we're dipping over, cause she's actually from PA. Um, where she's from is only, ah it's right across the border. So it's only like 45 minutes or so from where, where we're going to be at. So we're actually going to come up to Erie on Thursday. When I get off work, spend the night there. She's going to do her doctor's appointment and then we're going to shoot over to, uh, Grove city PA where she's from spend, spend Friday night so we can see her family and see your friends and stuff like that.
02:15:32
Speaker
And then come over Saturday afternoon and I got to get with Arliss and see what time he wants me to be there and everything. Uh, spend the night Saturday because Arliss had mentioned something about potentially MC and Sunday show as well. But I thought if I said, even if I don't want to MC more than likely, I'll, uh, we'll, we'll at least be there. And then maybe Sunday after the show, um, shoot back to PA and then spend the day Monday there. So it be would be a lot of driving and traveling and and all that stuff, but shit.
02:16:02
Speaker
And we, if we can make have an excuse and the kids are, the kids are with their mom, if we can have an excuse to go on a little road trip for a day or so, we'll, we're generally game to do it. Hell yeah. Yeah. I heard that bro. Yeah. Well, safe travels on that day up to Erie and all that good shit, man. I'm definitely looking forward to it. And yeah, I'm a text away, dude. Anytime you want to get on, do a little something, something I'll I'm down. I mean,
02:16:30
Speaker
I don't know. I don't say, I say no more than I used to, but I don't know. I'll say yes sometimes. Yeah. Yeah. I know. I know how it is. I'm at that point where it's like, that's what I said. I got to step away from Monday's shows cause I'm doing five shows and they're like, click. We get a sports show on the network and I'm like, well, who's going to host it? Nobody watched sports except for me. Yeah. My son, I'll turn him on to you, bro. My son will watch.
02:16:57
Speaker
Yeah. And we're like, it's like, I mean, yeah, I could, I could do a sports show, but you know, I'm already pushing, I'm already pushing my boundaries on yeah podcasting limits with, with, ah with mom or she'd go eventually come in here and stab me one night when I'm on. Yeah. Right. Yeah. You got to get off the dam. You got to get off a damn a video, man. Golly, come here. Yeah. yeah Get your answer over here. Um, but I, I, uh,
02:17:23
Speaker
I did, uh, real quick. I'm going to have you, if you don't mind, heavy hang tight for just a few more minutes, because I did scour the YouTubes and I did find a video, a song. Uh, and I don't know if this is one of the, I don't, I don't know if this is a, uh, uh, cover or if it's one of yours, it's called another ride. It's older. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's one of my songs, bro. I wrote that song when I was 17 years old. Nice.
02:17:50
Speaker
Well, I want to, I want to play this real quick and then I want to give you the opportunity to shout out to your socials and, and, and, what i didn't and again, you educated me. I didn't know that you could go on there and invite X amount of people to follow. So I'm going to have to get on that as well. Yeah. Oh yeah. Whenever I look up with somebody like you, man, I'll look at their numbers and then I go straight over to the invite friends. And then it gives me, it lets me invite a thousand people.
02:18:14
Speaker
I'll bug them for a couple days, shoot those invites out. And I'll tell you what, it helps when you do it to your own page, but it does even better when you do it to somebody else's. I don't know why. I don't know, but I'm going to have to, I'm going to have to, I'm going to have to do that for, uh, for several people, you know, my game. I need to get out and make some fresh videos sometime soon. Cause everything that's on there is pretty old man, but yeah, that is a song I wrote when I was 17, bro.
02:18:41
Speaker
Shoot this one of those things. It's so easy. You just grab your freaking cell phone and hit record when you're sitting in the living room or you're sitting there on the couch, jamming out, man. And it'd be like, so you could probably dump out six videos in a half hour. And then just, I think you can get the recorded version of that. Uh, another ride song on sound cloud. I don't think I have a recorded version of actual studio version of that song. I don't know if you can rip it from there or not, or if I need to email it to you, but I'll email it to you if I need to.
02:19:07
Speaker
I got, I got, yeah, I got a, I got a video here. I don't know if it's, I'm assuming it, I think it's like a video of some sort. Oh yeah. I'm sure it'll work. I probably was a baby, but it'll work. i knowt i heard that At first I was like, is this the right, gosh, I gotta make sure it's the right tattoo on it. Okay. that's job me Yeah. Like that, that's, that's him. I got him. But yeah, if you hang out just for a few more minutes, I want to give you an opportunity to so throughou socials but i want I do want to play this song for for everybody who's still watching and listening and and all the replay viewers so they can they can get a little taste of what they will get to hear on the 31st. Yeah, it's like 10 years better than it was back then, but hell yeah. Yeah. We're right back here in just a couple of minutes.
02:20:06
Speaker
Even my girl, she's kinda crazy.
02:23:03
Speaker
yeah Wow, that was a blast from the past.
02:23:09
Speaker
there I'll never forget that day whenever I went to record that I was an Akron and we went in this big warehouse and it was like in the basement the where the we shot this at and it was freezing cold and dude the first time I ever hit a wide out actual wide out snow storm dude where I couldn't see. sail dude it just i just went through like a straight up blast from the past but hell yeah man that's a jam dude yeah ain't anybody on here ever check me out and you can check me out on the facebook give me a like give it a share help you know where i'll be at and when i'll be there come out to the barrows have a good beer with us and enjoy some live country music it's always a good time and i'm sure you uh
02:23:52
Speaker
We'll probably find some people that you can get down with out of my friends group. I got a lot of good friends and they all follow me around. I think you'd enjoy yourself. Do you, do you mainly, uh, and I'm going to ask this question again when, when, when I have you back, but do you mainly stay up around your neck of the woods or do you venture? Do you venture out? got you out space I give you some sweet spots around my area. That'll, that'll give you a nice crowd.
02:24:19
Speaker
Yeah. Um, so as far as local goes, I did try to keep it pretty local just because it's a little more cost friendly when I keep it local. But if i mean if somebody's willing to fork out a little bit of extra for the time and the drive, I'll go pretty much anywhere. I've stretched out to Cleveland and Akron and now towards Pittsburgh, you know, it's nice. I'm at a spot being near Youngstown that, you know,
02:24:41
Speaker
Pittsburgh's an hour, Cleveland's an hour, Akron's an hour, all these places. So, but I consider that long distance gig. If I go over an hour, it's a long distance gig. Yeah. Yeah. A little extra charge, but I'll go anywhere, bro. I'll go anywhere, man. I just like to throw down. I like to see people have a good time and just have fun. Like literally that's all I care about is everybody having fun, having a good time. Hell yeah. That's what I'm talking about. That's the kind of shows that I that i ah really enjoy. but Uh, you know, dude dude, I appreciate you popping up here tonight. I know it was kind of a spur of the moment thing. I hit up our list and I was like, Hey man, would it be cool if I hit Josh up and and have him join us, uh, on the show? He was like, Oh yeah. He was like, do you need his number? I said, I think this is his number on his Facebook page. I guess we'll find out. um Yeah. Hell yeah. I appreciate the invite, man. It was a good time. I like bullshitting with the boys and just, uh, yeah, it's a good time, man. Nice meeting you too.
02:25:44
Speaker
Yeah, no, exactly. This is why I love doing this. It makes so many people too. But I'll hit you up, man. We'll definitely get some Call of Duty on. We'll get well get you on here down the road.
