Today i am delighted to speak with Bishop Robbie Crossan.

Bishop Robbie Crossan, is a Bishop of the Independent Catholic Ministry and an experienced exorcist with nearly 30 years of ministry.

Robbie discusses his childhood paranormal experiences, his path to becoming an exorcist, and why genuine cases of possession are exceptionally rare.

He explains the rigorous investigative process used before an exorcism is ever considered, including medical and psychological assessments, and reveals why most reported cases have natural explanations.

The conversation also explores the signs of alleged possession, the importance of faith and teamwork during exorcisms, paranormal investigations, spiritual protection, and some of Robbie's most memorable cases.

Along the way, Robbie and I separate fact from fiction, challenge popular misconceptions, and discuss the responsibilities involved when investigating extraordinary claims.

Introduction and Early Experiences

Lee Hatfield
Hello everybody and welcome to the latest episode of SEPA Paranormal Chronicles. Today i have got a guy who's got a bit of a funny accent, even worse than mine. I have with me the Bishop Robbie Crossan.
00:00:26
Lee Hatfield
He is the exorcist for the Independent Catholic Ministry. We're not going to talk about Star Trek, we're not going to talk about Star Wars, we're just going to talk about this Robbie. So welcome my friend, how are you?
00:00:41
Bishop Robbie
upset now you're not talking about Star Trek.
00:00:43
Lee Hatfield
I knew you'd say something like that.
00:00:45
Bishop Robbie
Bye.
00:00:49
Lee Hatfield
yeah so i like We were just talking about Star Trek star trek and and stuff offline. But anyway, if you do go now, I'm not going to get you that autograph that I promised I'd get you.
00:00:58
Bishop Robbie
I'll stay promise I'll stay.
00:01:01
Lee Hatfield
So yeah, see, this is this is what's called blackmail. Okay, so you are a bishop and an exorcist for the independent Catholic ministry.
00:01:14
Bishop Robbie
Yeah.
00:01:15
Lee Hatfield
Let's start right at the very beginning. how did or Why did you decide to go to become a bishop? Let's start right back at the beginning.
00:01:24
Bishop Robbie
Right, well, if you want to go right back at the beginning, it would be long before I decided to be a priest. Ever since I was a child, I've always had imaginary friends. But bear in mind, everybody's born with abilities, so those friends aren't imaginary.
00:01:39
Bishop Robbie
But what happens is you get older, you're told to grow up at your age, peer pressure hits you, so you start going out more and ignoring the voices and the shadows round about you.
00:01:44
Lee Hatfield
Thank you.
00:01:51
Bishop Robbie
But I never had anybody tell me to grow up at my age, and I never really liked going out with big crowds of people anyway. So I got to keep my abilities.
00:02:03
Bishop Robbie
a Then when I was about 13, an event happened, it was witnessed by family members. Then I found out a day later, the sim the same apparition appeared next to a a neighbour's daughter, I should say.
00:02:24
Bishop Robbie
So that's when I realised it wasn't imaginary.

From Theology to Exorcism

00:02:28
Bishop Robbie
So I started being a Scotsman. I don't like spending money. So i went to the library to get the books because back then there was no internet.
00:02:36
Bishop Robbie
There was no TV shows, no social media. So I self-taught myself everything on the paranormal. got every book I could, spent two years studying.
00:02:48
Bishop Robbie
Then when was about 15, and a couple of friends went out. I made a Ouija board using a cereal box. just wrote names on it, letters on it and numbers.
00:03:02
Bishop Robbie
Stole one, stole, borrowed one of my dad's shot glasses without tailing him and used that as a planchette, had a torch, a little really basic voice recorder.
00:03:14
Bishop Robbie
Like back in the 80s, they were like that size and took about 12 batteries. And I made dowsing rods out of just two bits of bent copper pipes.
00:03:27
Bishop Robbie
And we went to the local graveyard and we were starting to get responses and I was like, cool, I want to keep doing this. So I started researching more and the more I was researching, the more I was realising there were certain things I could do that no one else could do.
00:03:42
Bishop Robbie
Then people were asking me, oh can you do past life regressions? And I thought about it. went, actually, let's try to see if it works. And I was getting result after result after result. And to this day, I'm still doing them for people.
00:03:54
Bishop Robbie
And then I was able to transfer abilities on to other people so they could see what I could see. So basically, you could be in a room and I'd do what I do, then all of a sudden, you'd be standing in the same location, but you could see the building the way it was when it was being used and you could see people walking about doing their jobs or doing their daily routines.
00:04:20
Lee Hatfield
Wow. So and what what age were you when you could that that kind of thing?
00:04:24
Bishop Robbie
I was like, kind of stuff started between ages 15 and 18. So by the time I got to 18, I grew up in a a really strict Catholic background. My gran went to church every single day.
00:04:40
Bishop Robbie
twice in holiday's obligation. So soon as I made my first communion, she had me set up to be an Otterboy. So I did that for basically 10, 12 years.
00:04:51
Bishop Robbie
And by the end of that, I knew for word everything a priest would do for every type of service. So I thought, well, it's a job for life. So I entered seminary school, but the more I learned about Roman Catholic theology, doctorate, canon laws, Vatican laws, cardinal laws, the more I realized it was like a secret man society and I wanted nothing to do with that. So I left that after about two years and I joined the independent Catholic church.
00:05:24
Bishop Robbie
Completed my training with him, which only took another two years. Then I was ordained a deacon in 1994. So a day after I was made a deacon, the Archbishop pulled us into the office and went, right, we know what you can do.
00:05:39
Bishop Robbie
I went, what you mean you know what I can do? And went, well, we do background reports on everybody. We don't just let anybody come through the doors. So I was like, right, so what do you want me to do then? Do you want me to leave? And went, no, we want you be an exorcist.
00:05:53
Bishop Robbie
And I blinked him and I went, no thanks, I've seen that film. And he just lost me laughing. And he went, you've not got choice, you've been given a gift, you need to use that gift to protect people.
00:06:05
Bishop Robbie
So after about 10 minutes of thinking about it, I went, right, fair enough, I'll do it. So I shadowed an exorcist while was still trained to be a priest for three years. So I did exorcism study as well as priestly studies for that three years.

Understanding Exorcisms

00:06:23
Bishop Robbie
Then I was ordained and let loose to the public. And so I did that for about 20 years. Then I was ordained a bishop and now I'm head of the ministry.
00:06:37
Lee Hatfield
Wow.
00:06:37
Bishop Robbie
because all the other bishops have died also. I'm the youngest one left, kind of thing.
00:06:43
Lee Hatfield
And that is like a fascinating story. Yeah, the fact that, yeah, i've I've seen that movie too. i know exactly which one you you're referring to, but what was going through your mind when he said, I want you to be an exorcist?
00:07:01
Lee Hatfield
Because you said that you spent 10 minutes thinking about it, but
00:07:03
Bishop Robbie
It was the fact, like, just I kept thinking of this pea green soup getting splattered all over me. And I was like, i don't want I don't want to be a part of that.
00:07:15
Bishop Robbie
But thankfully that's never happened.
00:07:19
Lee Hatfield
So before you were told, that's not you you weren't asked, you were told that you were going to be that you were going to be an exorcist.
00:07:24
Bishop Robbie
Yeah, I was told.
00:07:28
Lee Hatfield
And of what you know now, but we're going to go into more detail in a bit. How does your thoughts on how you thought it was going to be to how it is, how how different were they?
00:07:43
Bishop Robbie
Actually not that different, to be honest with you. Apart from the spinning heads, I've never seen anyone levitate.
00:07:48
Lee Hatfield
Thank
00:07:50
Bishop Robbie
Again, I've never seen anybody spew sick over me. But apart from that, by the book, everything's the same. mean, there's roughly, how do you explain it? was about 400 worth of whatha excellent documented case notes.
00:08:10
Bishop Robbie
mean the exorcists we know today first started in the 1600s by Saint Benedict. He wrote the rule book on exorcisms, so every exorcist goes by that standard format and so because of that we've got to keep and exact case notes.
00:08:32
Bishop Robbie
We've got to explain everything that's happened, everything that's going on, everything that was said and done. So you can basically read back in those case notes when you're studying to be an exorcist and it always follows the same type of pattern.
00:08:46
Lee Hatfield
Wow. and it's so when I first started doing this a few years ago, Well, I've had an interest for a long time, but I thought I would kind of go into my go into the background of what it entailed and the fact that yeah if people ask you questions, they expect you to provide an answer.
00:09:11
Lee Hatfield
So i wanted to I wanted to be able to provide these these answers if people ask me these questions.
00:09:11
Bishop Robbie
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
00:09:18
Lee Hatfield
So we have a company over here, one by a friend of mine who does online courses. And it was yeah it's like ghosts and hauntings and poltergeists and cryptids.
00:09:28
Bishop Robbie
yeah
00:09:29
Lee Hatfield
And one of the courses that I did was an introduction to demonology.
00:09:34
Lee Hatfield
But it wasn't like the yeah it wasn't the exorcist kind of demon. It was what is it? what it is really compared to what you see on TV and that kind of stuff.
00:09:45
Bishop Robbie
Yeah.
00:09:47
Lee Hatfield
And there's a a father that came unto thee
00:09:54
Lee Hatfield
onto the course by the name of Bob Bailey. Don't know if you know him, he's in the US and he's a retired catholic Catholic priest as well. And he was telling us what it was like from a yeah a priest's point of view.
00:10:11
Lee Hatfield
So a lot of people, and you've already mentioned, they go in into the, they expect to have green soup all over them. They to they expect to see yeah people levitating off a bed.
00:10:24
Lee Hatfield
They expect to see spinning head. But what does an exorism exorcism actually, what does it mean to start off with?
00:10:35
Lee Hatfield
And how does it, How do you interpret that word compared to what people's opinions are?
00:10:43
Bishop Robbie
Well, the easiest way is to explain from start to finish the the actual process. Not every case needs an exorcism, only maybe about 1%. So for every 100 cases that gets passed through my door,
00:10:59
Bishop Robbie
Only one of those will be an exorcism. So we've got to scrutinize everything. So to start with, safe instance sho contact means say me and say, so-and-so might be possessed.
00:11:08
Lee Hatfield
Thank you.
00:11:11
Bishop Robbie
Like your wife might have, like you think your wife's possessed by a demon. We would ask you her like a standard

Practical Exorcism Insights

00:11:20
Bishop Robbie
block of a hundred questions to get her off idea of what's going on.
00:11:24
Bishop Robbie
Then we would interview any family members or friends. to see if they've witnessed anything. Then we'd ask you to release your medical reports to us to see if you're wee bit loopy.
00:11:37
Bishop Robbie
then Some people have got medical conditions that cause them to hallucinate or people maybe on medication that causes these type of problems as well.
00:11:49
Bishop Robbie
Even recreational drugs. i mean, people and take certain types of happy things or even certain alcohol alcohols can cause the problems. We've got to debunk absolutely everything. We've also got to do background reports on your property, any property you've lived in, the land your properties on. We've got to personal history on you as well to make sure you've not done anything stupid, like played with Ouija board when you were younger.
00:12:21
Bishop Robbie
And because the paranormal world, The other side doesn't have the same timeline as we do. We go by a certain 24 hour clock and it only goes one direction.
00:12:32
Bishop Robbie
mean, in their realm, I call it spaghettified. It's like there's no past, present, future. Everything's rolled into one and mangled up.
00:12:43
Bishop Robbie
So you could speak to a ghost today. And they would remember you speaking to them, but you've no memory. Then in a year's time, you contact them again, and they've got no memory of contacting you, but you've got memory of contacting them because in the timelines are all messed up.
00:13:00
Bishop Robbie
So we've got to work out exactly what's going on. So as I said, about 90% of people The cases get closed straight away because they've got something wrong with them that's mental and not spiritual.
00:13:19
Bishop Robbie
There's roughly about 10% of cases where it's just a basic house cleansing because something's followed them home or something's been in the property when they've bought it. Then, as I said, there's that one case where we can we've got to whittle it down because what we've got to do is look at the person, see how they're acting as well.
00:13:41
Bishop Robbie
Because certain movements and suggestions tell you there's something not quite right with them. Like some cases, people who start twitching really badly and their bodies will start contorting.
00:13:54
Bishop Robbie
their eyes will start even changing colour or changing shape. You'll see like their face changing shape, like something's trying to come out their body. Like for instance, if you stare at mirror, eventually you'll see a different face forming around yours.
00:14:13
Bishop Robbie
So we can physically see that as well coming through the person's physical face.
00:14:19
Lee Hatfield
So I know that yeah obviously you've done this for a little bit longer than my four-week course. So i I'm going to abide by what you say. But how true is it that if it is a genuine possession that the, let's just call it an entity for want of an easy expression.
00:14:36
Bishop Robbie
Yeah.
00:14:43
Lee Hatfield
I don't like using the D word too much.
00:14:45
Bishop Robbie
Yeah, because not all D words can enter a body could be an asty ex human.
00:14:46
Lee Hatfield
And I don't.
00:14:49
Lee Hatfield
Correct. Exactly. So how true is it that the fact that they say that a stereotypical exorcism, the body can contort into ways that it can't normally do it, and then the person has no recollection of that afterwards.
00:15:05
Bishop Robbie
Yep.
00:15:09
Lee Hatfield
They come out with personal information that only you would know. and they speak in a foreign or unrecognized tongue.
00:15:22
Bishop Robbie
Yep, I've had all that.
00:15:23
Lee Hatfield
Let's just say, yeah. So, go on, sorry.
00:15:26
Bishop Robbie
I was just about to say, my last case, I had all those three things in one person.
00:15:34
Lee Hatfield
So all those are, I'm going to use the term gospel. I'm talking to a bishop, I'm going to use the term gospel. So they are the gospel truth of a stereotypical possession.
00:15:45
Bishop Robbie
Yeah, they'll know things they're not supposed to know. They'll spot start speaking the dead languages, like Aramaic, Latin. I mean, I had one guy speaking in a, what was it?
00:16:00
Bishop Robbie
It was Irish, no, sorry, it was Welsh Gaelic, and he'd never been to Wils before in his life. and which was confusing because we didn't find that out until after because we record we record everything we do. We do but video recordings, we do audio recordings to make sure we've got everything logged.
00:16:20
Bishop Robbie
And it wasn't until about a week later somebody went, he's actually speaking in Welsh.
00:16:24
Lee Hatfield
Wow. So the wife just got somebody at the door. That was so what was distracting me.
00:16:30
Bishop Robbie
Yeah.
00:16:30
Lee Hatfield
So, yeah, so when I did my course, they were saying that the Roman Catholic Church, when they introduce priests into to become exorcists, that one of the first courses that they kind of put them on is to recognize mental health.
00:16:54
Bishop Robbie
Yeah, you've got, as I said, 90% of the cases are all mental health. So you've got to know, you've got to know what you're dealing with, because you don't want to go in to do an exorcism if one doesn't need done. last like An exorcism is the last resort.
00:17:09
Bishop Robbie
If nothing else can be done, then it's got to be that. So we're trained on with basic mental health strategy strategies, so we can look for like body language,
00:17:18
Lee Hatfield
Thank
00:17:23
Bishop Robbie
how they present themselves, how they talk to other people around about them. mean, we study them for weeks and sometimes months at time before we even go to their door. And because of video chatting now, like we're doing, it's a lot easier to communicate to people. You don't need to keep travelling every day to go and see them.
00:17:43
Bishop Robbie
So you can speak to them every day through video chat.
00:17:46
Lee Hatfield
And yeah let's just use the movie Exorcist as an example. I know it's it's Hollywood, but
00:17:55
Bishop Robbie
I was loosely based on a true story.
00:17:58
Bishop Robbie
Very loosely.
00:17:58
Lee Hatfield
loosely, yeah.
00:17:59
Lee Hatfield
yeah But during a possession, the individual can be absolutely 100% normal one minute, and then like the flip of a coin they can be evil, yeah vindictive.
00:18:21
Lee Hatfield
And that is that is that how you kind of seen it as well?
00:18:23
Bishop Robbie
yeah Yeah, and it's it's physical things as well. And for instance, I do a couple of little tests on people. I won't say what they are here because then in case somebody watching this can turn around and try and fake what they've been possessed. But there's a a few things I'll do before I'll start the exorcism. Then I'll repeat it after the exorcism to see if I get the same results.
00:18:49
Bishop Robbie
So,
00:18:49
Lee Hatfield
And I can actually relate to that because yeah I spent my time in England as a paramedic and we had people that were faking seizures just to get public attention.
00:19:03
Bishop Robbie
Yeah, so.
00:19:03
Lee Hatfield
And we you we used to kind of do two things. We used to either you sir flick the the the eyelash and if it flickered, the person was not unconscious, they were faking it. But one of the most funny ones was to lift the hand and put it over the face.
00:19:19
Lee Hatfield
And if it dropped to the side, they were they they obviously didn't want to get smacked.
00:19:22
Bishop Robbie
You're conscious?
00:19:23
Lee Hatfield
in yeah So is that is that the kind of similar thing that you're getting at?
00:19:24
Bishop Robbie
Yeah.
00:19:28
Bishop Robbie
Well, we we do physical things, but I've other tests as well using different types of, I can only say objects.
00:19:37
Lee Hatfield
Right. OK.
00:19:38
Bishop Robbie
What they do is they don't know what the objects are, so I'll let them hold them to see what happens. And if i get a reaction, then it's possibly possession. If I don't get reaction, then you know it's no possession.
00:19:54
Lee Hatfield
That makes sense.
00:19:55
Bishop Robbie
So there's like three different things.
00:19:55
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, and i can kind of yeah I can kind of guess what those objects are now that you've said that.
00:20:02
Bishop Robbie
Well, one of them we know, I can guarantee one is a religious object and it's been blessed, but I'm not telling you what the other two are.
00:20:02
Lee Hatfield
So...

Sensory and Cultural Dimensions of Exorcism

00:20:12
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, no, and that that's what I was getting at. You can probably guess that, yeah.
00:20:15
Bishop Robbie
Yeah.
00:20:16
Lee Hatfield
So let's go back to your very first genuine one. Obviously, yes, you've had the training, but this is your first real confirmed exorcism.
00:20:33
Lee Hatfield
So what was going through your mind and how did you feel going into that location for want of a word? And then how did you feel afterwards?
00:20:44
Bishop Robbie
It's the same reaction for every case I take up. How do to explain this in words that everybody would understand? You're basically baking bricks, but you can't show you're baking bricks, that makes any sense.
00:21:01
Lee Hatfield
i I do have that explicit thing checked. So if you want to, I know you're a bishop, but if you want a curse, feel free.
00:21:06
Bishop Robbie
No, I won't.
00:21:07
Lee Hatfield
but
00:21:10
Bishop Robbie
You're basically filling your tenor ladies in big boy pants, but you can't physically show you're doing that.
00:21:13
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:21:18
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:21:18
Bishop Robbie
So, as I said, the first sign of weakness, they will jump on that. So you need to hold all your emotions back until you basically get out that property.
00:21:29
Bishop Robbie
because any case it can be your last. you can walk in and you're having to be carried out a little black box.
00:21:38
Lee Hatfield
So I am kind of going down the road that, like say, because of the stressful situation, it's probably not unknown for you guys to actually break down afterwards because because of all the stress.
00:21:56
Bishop Robbie
Well, basically, for about two or three days before we go to a case, we go into prayer for that full three days. Some people do longer, some people do it shorter. But once the case is finished with, the first thing I do is head home, go for a shower, then like I have a few shots of whiskey to try and calm my nerves.
00:22:22
Lee Hatfield
And you're Scottish man as well, so that's that's part of the course normally, isn't it?
00:22:26
Bishop Robbie
Yeah.
00:22:27
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:22:28
Bishop Robbie
But again, it's like, I'll be I'll be more than I'm normally taking an average week put it that way.
00:22:35
Bishop Robbie
And but again, it's
00:22:35
Lee Hatfield
So go on.
00:22:37
Lee Hatfield
Carry on, sorry.
00:22:39
Bishop Robbie
It's not, once the case, the case isn't finished once you leave the house, you've got to constantly follow up for maybe three or four weeks, contacting a person on a regular basis just to make sure they're okay as well.
00:22:43
Lee Hatfield
Thank
00:22:51
Bishop Robbie
Because it's not just you and your team. You've got to worry about mental health. It's there the family and the person that needed your help. You've got to make sure that they're mentally fine afterwards as well.
00:23:07
Lee Hatfield
Which makes sense. So you've already mentioned about preparation. So when you decide that you are going to do an exorcism and you're committed to ridding the person of whatever's attached to them, how long does that typically last for the practice of doing the exorcism?
00:23:34
Bishop Robbie
So the final part, which is the exorcism, there's not a set time. You can have it can be have it done an hour. It could take six hours. It could take six days, six weeks, or it can even take years. It just depends how stubborn this thing is that's inside them.
00:23:54
Bishop Robbie
and you've got to keep fighting and fighting and working it down.
00:23:56
Lee Hatfield
Thank
00:23:56
Bishop Robbie
So I normally, I've got now where it has to be done, we'll do it in shifts. So we'll have like four exorcists with four separate teams and each team does like a six hour shift and it will be like that 24 hours a day, seven days a week until it's out the door.
00:24:19
Lee Hatfield
That was basically going to be my next question of like, how do you plan that? But that the way that you've just explained it, that kind of tells me yeah that yeah you're committed to doing it and you're not going until it's it's gone.
00:24:34
Bishop Robbie
It's gone.
00:24:36
Lee Hatfield
So you have to do it constantly.
00:24:36
Bishop Robbie
Yeah.
00:24:38
Lee Hatfield
You can't take a break because then you're going back to square one.
00:24:41
Bishop Robbie
So what we do, as I said, just say, like, after the five and a half hours, I'm, like, constantly praying and trying to get it out. The other team comes in and the bishop, or the exorcist, I should say, sorry, will start reading at the same passage I'm reading and we'll do that for half an hour. Then once he's got his, like,
00:25:04
Bishop Robbie
Mantra going, my team can leave and his team take over. Then when he's at the five and a half hours or she's at the five and a half hours, the next group comes in and just repeats. Then we just keep doing that and doing that and doing that until somebody goes, wahey, it's gone.
00:25:21
Lee Hatfield
I wish you hadn't put it that way. whole Yeah. Woo. Woo. So that's, that's basically what I was going to ask Nick. How do you know when it's gone?
00:25:33
Bishop Robbie
You can see the person changing. the giat To who they bill ti start with, the person basically flops in the the chair or the bed or whatever, and you can physically see a weight lifting from their shoulders.
00:25:48
Bishop Robbie
the the few most You can see them becoming more calm. their colour starts coming back to their cheeks and their face, they start becoming more coherent and they start to speak to you normally.
00:25:58
Lee Hatfield
Thank you.
00:26:01
Bishop Robbie
Then again, as I said, the test I do at the start, we do it again at the end to see if we get the same results. And every time the results are different, which means it's gone.
00:26:14
Lee Hatfield
So the fact that you started at the beginning of the show to say that you had imaginary friends, as you put it, when you've been doing your exorcisms, have you ever seen that presence leave the body, like physically, or is it something that's invisible, so to speak?
00:26:34
Bishop Robbie
I've not physically seen anything, but you can definitely smell it leave, that makes any sense. It's like, when a person's possessed, they've got like a scent.
00:26:50
Bishop Robbie
Even when they breathe, it's like a vile sickly smell. And once it's gone, the room starts becoming scent free again.
00:27:03
Lee Hatfield
Okay. yeah And yeah, obviously, that's that's not just halitosis that yet someone someone has got bad breath. So if if this person is being their normal self, but you still know that they possessed, is that smell still present?
00:27:11
Bishop Robbie
Yeah.
00:27:20
Bishop Robbie
You can physically see in their bodies and the way they talk. They're not 100% themselves. Maybe 90%, 95%. ninety percent That's only because we can't see whatever's there.
00:27:32
Bishop Robbie
Just because the we we can't physically hear it or see its presence doesn't mean it to say it's not there. It just may be too weak and that person's now got back control of their body. But if you want to go, after a few days, that entity or whatever what you want to call it, can recharge itself and re-attack.
00:27:56
Lee Hatfield
Okay, so I just want to go back again to your imaginary friends. So there's obviously that you've got some kind of mediumistic skills. So, and this is going to sound really weird coming out of my mouth.
00:28:12
Lee Hatfield
Do you ever get any help from your imaginary friends? Like if you've got spirits there, do they kind of support you?
00:28:22
Bishop Robbie
I believe, well, through prayer, we do have, like, the Almighty Father God will send people, well, people send his team to come and assist us.
00:28:36
Lee Hatfield
Thank you.
00:28:37
Bishop Robbie
That I do believe. Whether it's true or not, I don't know. But you can feel a presence around you, like a veil, a protection.
00:28:49
Bishop Robbie
But again, it depends how strong you are and how strong compared to how strong this entity is. Basically, it's a mental battle of wills and that it's not like a physical battle. It's a battle of spiritual beliefs.
00:29:06
Bishop Robbie
Your faith has to be undoubtedly strong to be what you beat it.
00:29:10
Lee Hatfield
It's because, you know, obviously it's the Catholic church and connections that, you know, do the the exorcism. But have you ever been involved with any other faiths like the djinn for yeah that kind of stuff?
00:29:27
Bishop Robbie
No.
00:29:28
Lee Hatfield
Or it's just the normal Catholic?
00:29:30
Bishop Robbie
i For me, I've only ever been trained in the Catholic Rites of Exorcism, but i know people of other faiths.
00:29:37
Lee Hatfield
Okay.
00:29:40
Bishop Robbie
So if someone from a faith was to contact me from a different faith, it wasn't Christian, and says, oh, I need help. help Unless that person believes Christ is their saviour,
00:29:54
Bishop Robbie
and Lord and Master, I can't help them. If they don't believe in Christ, then I can't help them. So I've got to basically contact someone who's close to their faith to assist them, because I don't know to deal with that.
00:30:09
Lee Hatfield
But it kind of makes sense because, yeah it's yeah, it kind of comes across as different training. It's like, yeah, you can speak one language and you speak to people.
00:30:16
Bishop Robbie
Yeah.
00:30:19
Lee Hatfield
But but if you're bilingual, you can speak to a different language. You're speaking to other people. It's the same kind of thing.
00:30:24
Bishop Robbie
Yeah, it's just with different faiths, I've got different ways of dealing with it.
00:30:29
Lee Hatfield
Yeah. So, go on.
00:30:30
Bishop Robbie
And as the reason the reason we use the faith part of it is because the person's got to have the same faith as you, because you've got to convince them that their faith is going to beat what's inside them.
00:30:46
Bishop Robbie
And if you don't know how to deal with their faith, then you you don't know how to get their mind into that mindset.
00:30:54
Lee Hatfield
Okay, so for somebody like myself, and please don't frown when I say this, that doesn't go to church on a regular basis, I would not have a Catholic priest.
00:31:03
Bishop Robbie
Right.
00:31:08
Lee Hatfield
I would have somebody of a non-Catholic...
00:31:12
Bishop Robbie
It depends what religion you regard you do you regard yourself as.
00:31:17
Lee Hatfield
Well, it's just Church of England, yeah, all the normal... yeah and
00:31:20
Bishop Robbie
Church of England technically has apostolic succession and word Catholic just means universal. So at one putly that one point, the Church of England were under the like Roman Catholic jurisdiction, so they still celebrate some of the Roman Catholic traditions, the same as my church does. i mean, your church left Rome in the 1500s, mine's left Rome in the
00:31:49
Lee Hatfield
Okay, gotcha. So during these exorcisms that you've encountered, Have you ever felt that your life was in danger?
00:32:02
Bishop Robbie
Only once, and that was about 13, 14 years ago, I thought to myself, I'm not getting out of here. But I still, because I had a duty, I swore an oath to protect people.
00:32:16
Lee Hatfield
you
00:32:18
Bishop Robbie
I swore an oath to serve people. when When you're ordained, you've got to basically do this whole prayer speech about how you're going to serve God, you're going to shepherd his flock, you're going to look after his flock.
00:32:34
Bishop Robbie
And a shepherd would basically die to protect his sheep.
00:32:38
Lee Hatfield
So what kind of situation was it that made you think that you weren't getting out of there alive?
00:32:46
Bishop Robbie
Well, the person, they started shaking violently to the point where their physical strength became wrote really, really bad.
00:32:57
Bishop Robbie
And a couple of people I was with started getting scratch marks. Like a couple of team members were getting scratch marks. One had scratch marks on their legs, one had scratch marks on their back, one was on their neck.
00:33:12
Bishop Robbie
it was like three big claw marks going all the way down. And again, the same happened with a different team. and Was it three years ago, four years ago, something like
00:33:25
Bishop Robbie
that? And close to Doncaster when it was that case there.
00:33:30
Lee Hatfield
OK.
00:33:32
Bishop Robbie
and But the scratch marks weren't as bad. But again, we managed to weaken it to the point that just gave up and left.
00:33:42
Lee Hatfield
Yes, I'm not dealing with a Scottish dude anymore. I'm out of here. So it's it's interesting, and i I tell people a lot, that when you see some of these TV shows, that when somebody gets scratched,
00:33:58
Lee Hatfield
they automatically think that it's an evil entity, a malevolent force. But my theory is that if a spirit is trying to get your attention and it can't get your attention, if it kind of like, if I if i see you in the street and you don't hear me, I'm going to tap you on the shoulder. Yo, Robbie.
00:34:19
Lee Hatfield
But... obviously a spirit can't do that so the connection that the spirit has with a human could be that spiritual energy that's causing the marks and the scratches
00:34:31
Bishop Robbie
well it could be any type of map but if it's three scratches that's normally associated with demonic it's an insult to the wall trinity the father son the spirit so that's where the three comes in
00:34:45
Lee Hatfield
Okay, so this is going to sound really stupid, but I'm allowed to say stupid things. So if it's one scratch or two, you wouldn't necessarily say it was demonic.
00:34:57
Lee Hatfield
it it's it's It's the three definitive ones.
00:34:57
Bishop Robbie
No.
00:34:59
Bishop Robbie
If it's like one or two, four five or six, then you don't bother. But when it's three, that's when you you think to yourself, that could be, there's a high chance it is.
00:35:12
Bishop Robbie
But no, every time you get scratched, for instance, I was at a
00:35:12
Lee Hatfield
Thought
00:35:14
Bishop Robbie
a normal investigation.
00:35:15
Lee Hatfield
Thank
00:35:16
Bishop Robbie
i mean, at end of the day, still human. I still like going out and doing things. So a group of us went to a castle about two hours from here. And we were in like a medieval type of kitchen.
00:35:31
Bishop Robbie
And one of the ladies was sitting in a chair and she could feel like a warm sensation in her arm. I don't know if i showed you the photo. She was feeling a warm sensation in her arm.
00:35:42
Bishop Robbie
So I did what I did to get rid it. Then as soon as it left on she felt okay, like my sister-in-law started feeling like she was getting choked, like throttled. So I dealt with that.
00:35:53
Bishop Robbie
I got rid of that. Then as soon as I got rid of that, I started feeling burning in my arm. lifted up my shirt and I had burn marks right up my forearm, just to my shoulder.

Complexities and Reflections on Exorcism

00:36:04
Lee Hatfield
uh,
00:36:05
Bishop Robbie
And it wasn't until after, we I got rid of that obviously, but after we, about halfway through the night after that, we found out by just looking at different things around where the castle was used as a prison at one point and like a different where the dungeons or where the foundations are, there's little caverns.
00:36:27
Bishop Robbie
And apparently before the 1500s, if you were a Protestant, you were basically thrown in there. Then after the if you were Catholic, you were thrown in there.
00:36:40
Bishop Robbie
And punishment was either hanging or burnt at the stake if you didn't convert. So then I'm thinking to myself, hold on, one person gets strangled the other two get burnt.
00:36:52
Lee Hatfield
So it wasn't necessarily a negative energy per se. It could have been.
00:36:58
Bishop Robbie
It could have been somebody telling us I'm here, I need help.
00:37:00
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:37:02
Lee Hatfield
Interesting.
00:37:03
Bishop Robbie
So once I got that burn mark, I thought to myself, well, you know, if you leave and invest if you leave an investigation with a trophy, you need to get back.
00:37:04
Lee Hatfield
So.
00:37:14
Bishop Robbie
So I'm booking myself back to go to it again.
00:37:17
Lee Hatfield
just to see what happens.
00:37:19
Bishop Robbie
Yeah.
00:37:20
Lee Hatfield
that' That's called being a glutton for punishment, I believe.
00:37:23
Bishop Robbie
It's not, it's just making sure it wasn't a one-off.
00:37:27
Lee Hatfield
Well, that's it. And that's part part and parcel of your job. yeah If somebody gets evidence at one location, you go back to try to replicate that evidence to see if you can get the same thing again.
00:37:30
Bishop Robbie
Yeah.
00:37:35
Bishop Robbie
Yeah. And that's that lot what you do about you try and replicate it.
00:37:38
Lee Hatfield
So I'm going to put you on the spot now. If you thought that you had an attachment or you were experiencing the start of what you thought was a possession, how would you deal with it?
00:37:55
Bishop Robbie
I would contact one of the people I know at the Rex is and they'll go, come and deal with me. You never fight your own battles, you get other people to do it for you.
00:38:02
Lee Hatfield
sim
00:38:06
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, so it, and that kind of brings me along, it it wouldn't be possible for you to fight your own battle per se.
00:38:15
Bishop Robbie
I don't know, I've never tried, but you're always wanting backup.
00:38:19
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:38:20
Bishop Robbie
you You don't go out to a battle with people with knives and you take flowers with you. You want to be kitted up as much as possible will as well.
00:38:29
Lee Hatfield
Yeah. So one of the things that I spoke at, well, I didn't speak about at all. They spoke about on the course and you're going to know exactly who I'm talking about. And if you don't, you're fired.
00:38:44
Bishop Robbie
LAUGHTER
00:38:46
Lee Hatfield
Annalise Michelle, are you familiar with this name?
00:38:50
Bishop Robbie
she was one of the main people who was needed an exorcism and it almost went dodgily wrong.
00:38:59
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, she was German from Bavaria and her she actually died of malnutrition.
00:39:07
Bishop Robbie
Yeah, while doing it.
00:39:08
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:39:09
Bishop Robbie
But the case, how do you explain it?
00:39:09
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:39:15
Bishop Robbie
The Vatican
00:39:18
Bishop Robbie
they didn't do the case properly. And what they were doing is they were, how do explain it?
00:39:27
Bishop Robbie
they were They were praying that much. They didn't think about looking after her physical wellbeing.
00:39:33
Lee Hatfield
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
00:39:35
Bishop Robbie
They were just thinking about saving her soul and not her body. So basically, Normally what happens if somebody's in that kind of state, we'll try and give them little bits of food.
00:39:48
Bishop Robbie
We'll dampen their mouths with soaked pieces of cotton wool to try and get them to drink.
00:39:57
Lee Hatfield
yeah
00:39:58
Bishop Robbie
But the Vatican didn't do anything like that.
00:40:00
Lee Hatfield
and And that kind of puts forward the fact that this is why you work in teams, because you can be so engrossed in what you're doing, then one of your other team members can go, okay yeah yeah this is what we need to do.
00:40:18
Bishop Robbie
Yeah.
00:40:19
Lee Hatfield
And they can kind of yeah intervene while you're doing one thing. They can moisture in the mouth and stuff like that.
00:40:24
Bishop Robbie
Yeah. So when I go into a case, there's myself who's the lead exorcist.
00:40:30
Lee Hatfield
Thank
00:40:31
Bishop Robbie
I'll always have another exorcist with us and he'll be the assistant exorcist. So if anything goes wrong, they can jump in and take over from me. Then I've got three investigators as well.
00:40:42
Bishop Robbie
So their job is just to watch the person to make sure, like, in case we miss anything. So as you said, if something happens to them, they can like hold them down or they can give them assistance. And one of the people who's also got to have basic first aid training.
00:41:03
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, because if the body's going to contort into yeah ways and means that it's not designed to do, then yeah once it's all over, you need to make sure that that person's yeah fit fit and healthy to the best of their ability.
00:41:18
Bishop Robbie
Yeah.
00:41:22
Bishop Robbie
So like we've like my team, we've got mental health professionals or people that know about mental health. We've got people that know about first aid.
00:41:35
Bishop Robbie
Then you've got the exorcists, then everybody else chips in to do the the basic and background investigation.
00:41:46
Lee Hatfield
I just had a thought come into my head because I've got the medical background. you Imagine a paramedic crew, turned an ambulance turning up and you go, yeah, this person's got a broken arm because they've just been possessed.
00:41:57
Lee Hatfield
And you can imagine the crew going, I'm so i'm sorry, what?
00:42:00
Bishop Robbie
Yeah, but what happens then is the police, the normally you get the little knee nods and police show up.
00:42:01
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:42:05
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:42:08
Bishop Robbie
But normally in that case, we've got team we've got to involve authorities anyway.
00:42:13
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, for sure.
00:42:14
Bishop Robbie
That's part of the documents we we get people to sign stating, well, basically, if anything does hit the fan, then we've got to get the authorities involved just for legal purposes.
00:42:28
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, which makes perfect sense. so the fact that you're a believer of the paranormal because you've had experiences when you were young and the fact that you've experienced things as an exorcist are you believer not just goats and goats but just not just ghosts ghosts and spirits, but are you a believer in the different entities like yeah fairies and elementals and that kind of thing?
00:42:53
Bishop Robbie
by
00:43:04
Lee Hatfield
or yeah What's your kind of thoughts on those?
00:43:07
Bishop Robbie
Well, being Scottish, with all that kind of thing is bred into us from an early age, like stories, mythology and all that kind of thing.
00:43:16
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:43:18
Bishop Robbie
So there's like fairy ponds scattered throughout Scotland. And we've got elementals like fire, wind, water and earth.
00:43:31
Bishop Robbie
There is a kind of truth to that as well, because they're all interconnected with one another.
00:43:37
Bishop Robbie
And through the different, like some different religions call them different names. But the end the day, they all they're all interconnected with each other.
00:43:50
Lee Hatfield
But you've just mentioned the the thing that I can now get my own back. The fact that that you've mentioned that you're Scottish and you're brought up. which Which county are you now living in?
00:44:01
Bishop Robbie
You have to because my wife's from this area and she wants to be close to her family.
00:44:05
Lee Hatfield
but My home county.
00:44:14
Lee Hatfield
So even though you're an exorcist, you are still under the thump.
00:44:19
Bishop Robbie
a different thumb though.
00:44:22
Lee Hatfield
like Yeah, I'm not even going to get involved in that argument.
00:44:25
Bishop Robbie
Bear in you end up with the same problem. You met somebody in most countries as well.
00:44:33
Lee Hatfield
Okay, fair point.
00:44:34
Bishop Robbie
it
00:44:35
Lee Hatfield
I don't...
00:44:36
Bishop Robbie
But can you stop countries?
00:44:38
Lee Hatfield
I don't like you anymore, I've decided. so I was going ask a really good question then, but I completely forgot it So if if somebody of us remember if somebody thinks that they've got an individual who they've already experience experienced the contortion of the body or they've heard them speaking in in a foreign tongue,
00:45:07
Lee Hatfield
You've already mentioned about the questionnaire. What would be that individual's next course of action? Because are they going to go to their local priest or yeah are they going to reach out to you as individuals?
00:45:21
Bishop Robbie
no What happens is a of what I'll do is I'll do the initial investigation. If I can get to the client's house, I'll go to the client's house. If not, I'll reach out to other people I know who live close enough to them and I'll give them, I'll pass the case over to them, but I'll ask them to keep me in the loop so I know what's happening with it.
00:45:44
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, because being, like I say, with a medical background, the medical profession, yeah, they they I won't say that they disbelieve, but they that they think it's going to have a rational explanation.
00:46:01
Bishop Robbie
Well, we've got to debunk everything, so it's only when it doesn't become rational that's when it becomes paranormal.
00:46:01
Lee Hatfield
brief
00:46:07
Lee Hatfield
Yeah. But yeah, i could i can I can see it from a doctor's point of view. oh yeah, this person's schizophrenic or yeah this person's this or the other.
00:46:15
Bishop Robbie
Yeah. Yeah, again, that's why it's like 99% of the cases don't end up as being investigated till the very end, because we also ask for people's medical histories.
00:46:30
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:46:30
Bishop Robbie
And we don't just ask them, we'll say, we need you to contact your doctors and release your full medical history to us and a full psychological report as well.
00:46:42
Lee Hatfield
so So how many positive, if you can use that word, exorcisms have you actually carried out?
00:46:51
Bishop Robbie
Thankfully, I've only did eight in the last 29 years, 29 years. twenty nine years Yeah.
00:47:01
Bishop Robbie
Since 1997, so 29 years.
00:47:06
Lee Hatfield
But how many have the independent Catholic ministry done in that time?
00:47:13
Bishop Robbie
Again, we'll take, as I said, we we get roughly about 100 cases passed through our door every single year, and only eight of them have been confirmed to exorcisms.
00:47:14
Lee Hatfield
so
00:47:25
Lee Hatfield
So I'm going to ask you the question that you probably get asked the most. Out of those eight, without giving away any details, which one of those stands out to you the most?
00:47:42
Bishop Robbie
It's always your first one. It's like your first kiss. You always remember it. Or your first car. It's the very first kiss I was let loose on myself.
00:47:56
Lee Hatfield
and you were baking bricks as you put it.
00:47:58
Bishop Robbie
Yep, and I beat bricks every one I go to.
00:48:01
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:48:02
Bishop Robbie
I don't care about anybody that says they're not scared when they walk through that door is lying. And if they're not lying, then they shouldn't be doing that job at all.
00:48:12
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, and it's it's the same because I say, yeah, I've spent time in the emergency services and for people that are not nervous or apprehensive when they're going to a serious incident they they shouldn't be there
00:48:28
Bishop Robbie
Yeah, because it's you've got a you've got to have that fear factor to keep your senses awake.
00:48:35
Lee Hatfield
yeah and
00:48:35
Bishop Robbie
Because without that, you can make a mistake.
00:48:38
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, and it's really weird how, because of my magic mind emergency service background, when I go on an investigation, I always make sure I've got a door or a window.
00:48:50
Lee Hatfield
Well, especially a door, not a window. But if i'm do if I'm inside a building, I'll add my back to a solid wall. But I'll i'll always be close to a door or window, so I've always got a direct exit.
00:49:04
Bishop Robbie
It's the same. Any investigator should do the same. When you walk into a property, always know your surroundings and know where the nearest exit is. Ghostbusters?
00:49:14
Lee Hatfield
Yeah. So let's go back to the to the to your favourite movie just for a second.
00:49:23
Bishop Robbie
Ghostbusters?
00:49:23
Lee Hatfield
the Yes, that one. The Wrath of Khan.
00:49:30
Lee Hatfield
The girl in question was not very old. Is there age limit of you or the ministry will not go below for
00:49:43
Bishop Robbie
No, if somebody needs help, we are obligated to help. Thankfully, it's only been adults I've dealt with. I don't know how I would react if it was a child.
00:49:55
Bishop Robbie
I would probably, like the baking of the bricks would probably double or triple. Because you don't want that child to be in any type trauma whatsoever.
00:50:01
Lee Hatfield
sure
00:50:09
Lee Hatfield
Which makes sense. So we are coming close to the end, but I love hearing your stories. But one thing that's quite popular, not in this side of the border, but definitely the other side of this border, is these people that go on roadshows and do exorcisms live on stage.
00:50:33
Bishop Robbie
They're not jobs.
00:50:35
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:50:36
Bishop Robbie
Attention seekers. Yeah. i'm There's a reason America's got the most asylums in the world. And it's for people like them.
00:50:47
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, because I don't class myself as being an expert, but yeah if you're walking down aisle of a theatre or a hall or whatever, and then you just pick on so random some random dude and go, you're possessed. is like And it's not into it's not until then that they then start acting up, which I find highly amusing.
00:51:05
Bishop Robbie
this these These people are a danger to society and they're attention seekers and they'll kind of prey in the weak-minded and vulnerable just for sheer profit.
00:51:18
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:51:22
Bishop Robbie
It should be totally banned. i mean, there was one guy here, I'm not naming names, but he... He would sell tickets for like a roadshow. So say he was in Hull or he was in Grimsby Auditorium, he would have a list the names and addresses everybody bought tickets because you've got to give your name and address to the, what do you call it, the auditorium company.
00:51:48
Bishop Robbie
So he would get a list of names and addresses, randomly pick out seat numbers, find out where that person stayed, He send his team to do an undercover survey.
00:52:02
Bishop Robbie
a So they would ask like really silly questions. But the questions would give this person an insight to the the family kind of He hear number six so-and-so, his name, so-and-so, they know this person, they know that person, done this, and he would get their right to pick them up.
00:52:13
Lee Hatfield
Yeah.
00:52:27
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, because I was talking to a girl a few months ago who was planning to go to a high profile-ish medium.
00:52:38
Bishop Robbie
I don't agree with state the DMZ.
00:52:38
Lee Hatfield
so Yeah. So what she did, she created a dog from AI, posted on her Facebook page as her pet dog.
00:52:54
Lee Hatfield
And then when she went to the location for the evening, they were like, oh, yeah, yeah, Robbie Crossan, welcome. Please come into that kind of thing. And the medium actually stopped and asked her,
00:53:09
Lee Hatfield
if she had a pet dog as a child and she literally created it out of AI.
00:53:15
Bishop Robbie
Yeah, it's because they're doing research. See, it's like you go to these places, mean, in the olden days before computers, they they would say, oh, is there anybody in here knows somebody called John?
00:53:27
Bishop Robbie
Everybody knows a John.
00:53:29
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, exactly. Yeah.
00:53:30
Bishop Robbie
So what I did is years ago, i changed the way I did mediumships. I don't do any that kind of stuff. I won't do one-on-ones. But what I do is to stop...
00:53:42
Bishop Robbie
me just giving basic random things, I can have you sitting in your chair. You would be able to see your loved one walking through a doorway towards you.
00:53:54
Bishop Robbie
They would sit beside you, stand beside you. You would smell their favourite aftershave or perfume. You would see them physically. You'd be able to feel their touch in your hand and you can talk to them directly and you can hear them answering you.
00:54:09
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, because I've got a few...
00:54:09
Bishop Robbie
Rather than me giving messages, I'm just sitting there with my mouth shut, keeping the door open while you're used to a talk to each other in the same room.
00:54:19
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, I've got a friend who's a medium, she lives in the US and she wanted to do to do a reading with me. So I said, yeah, sure.
00:54:31
Lee Hatfield
But I'm one of these people where I will not provide any information. Yeah, yeah.
00:54:37
Bishop Robbie
Precisely, and I don't ask any information, basically what I say to you, right, invite the person in. I don't give any details to start with, so I'll say invite the person You'll so-and-so, please come in.
00:54:51
Bishop Robbie
And after a couple of seconds, you'll say, oh, I can smell such and such. And I'll go, what's that? And I'll go, that's their aftershave. Then you would see a shadow coming towards you. That shadow would take human form. Then you would see their physical features.
00:55:05
Bishop Robbie
Then I would say to you, right, start talking to them. So you would talk to them with your talk to me. Then when they respond, you would hear them through your mind's ear.
00:55:16
Lee Hatfield
Wow, that's pretty cool. So, oh, go on.
00:55:18
Bishop Robbie
And I'll ask I'm going to ask them something, but going to think about the answer or think about the question. And I'll just say, right, can you just prove you're there by touching them on their right shoulder?
00:55:33
Bishop Robbie
but I won't say it out loud, I'll just think it. Then all of a sudden you'll go on your right shoulder, look straight after it.
00:55:43
Lee Hatfield
and And that's the kind of evidence that people want. like Yeah.
00:55:47
Bishop Robbie
Yeah, so I do it that way. To me, that way is more personal. It's not me giving messages, it's you physically having another conversation with your loved one.
00:55:55
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, which makes perfect sense. OK, my friend, we are coming to an end. So what's next on the agenda for Robbie Clawson?
00:56:01
Bishop Robbie
Okay.
00:56:04
Bishop Robbie
And well, once finish here, I've got, I'm kind of binge watching Strange New Worlds before the new season starts. So I'm up to, I'm about halfway through season four.
00:56:18
Lee Hatfield
and I did mean professionally, but okay.
00:56:21
Bishop Robbie
Professionally, right. Professionally, I've got an ordination coming up in three weeks when I'm ordaining a new deacon who's also going to be an exorcist. So they've completed their training.
00:56:33
Bishop Robbie
So I'm just finishing half of the touches for that. I've got all the paperwork ready. I've dug out all my investments needed. So just keep looking in my bag to make sure I've not forgotten anything.
00:56:47
Lee Hatfield
do You need a checklist. did
00:56:50
Bishop Robbie
I've got a checklist, but I still think to myself, have I missed something after a checklist? So keep going back to check.
00:56:56
Lee Hatfield
Are you one of these people that would would actually forget the checklist?
00:57:00
Bishop Robbie
Yeah. books I write down a list for Asda. Go to Asda and I've knocked the list, Wes.
00:57:08
Lee Hatfield
i've told up I've done that before. It's so annoying.
00:57:11
Bishop Robbie
So now what I do is I've got i put the list on my phone on the notepad.
00:57:16
Lee Hatfield
And then you forget your phone.
00:57:18
Bishop Robbie
Now, I don't forget the phone, but normally what happens is I delete the notepad before by hitting the wrong button.
00:57:25
Lee Hatfield
Yeah, that's just that's just like part and parcel of like everyday life now. Okay, my friend, it's been an absolute pleasure talking to you. I'm really glad that I reached out. I definitely learned a lot tonight.
00:57:38
Lee Hatfield
All I can say is thank you, and I know it's getting pretty late there, so you have a great rest of the evening, and enjoy Strange strange New Worlds.
00:57:46
Bishop Robbie
Yep.
00:57:50
Bishop Robbie
Good night.
00:57:50
Lee Hatfield
Oh, my God.
00:57:52
Lee Hatfield
You're happy.
00:57:53
Bishop Robbie
Live long and keep it creepy.
00:57:56
Lee Hatfield
you you You just had to do it, didn't you? Take care, Bobby. Thanks a lot.
00:58:01
Bishop Robbie
Good night.
00:58:01
Lee Hatfield

00:58:01
Bishop Robbie
