In this episode of The Paranormal Prism, I am joined by paranormal investigator and psychic medium Amanda Quill to discuss her lifelong fascination with ghosts and her exciting new television series, Unsettled Spirits.

Raised in Scotland, Amanda grew up surrounded by ghost stories, folklore and historic locations. She went on her first ghost hunt at just 12 years old and later began investigating private homes across North America. Amanda discusses her Cree heritage, her experience as part of the Sixties Scoop and how reconnecting with her culture helped her understand her spiritual abilities and ancestral connection to the spirit world.

Amanda also shares stories from her decades of paranormal work, including unexplained objects flying across rooms, emotionally charged hauntings and encounters so disturbing that they nearly caused her to stop investigating altogether. She explains why proper research, environmental checks and respect for the people affected are essential parts of any responsible investigation.

The conversation also explores Cold Spotters Paranormal Investigations and Events and Amanda’s new 13-episode series, Unsettled Spirits. Premiering September 2 on APTN, the program combines paranormal investigation with Indigenous perspectives, personal journeys and the histories of the land and communities behind each haunting.

Join us for a fascinating, honest and frequently humorous conversation about ghosts, psychic abilities, Indigenous spirituality, responsible investigation and what can happen when you ask the unknown to reveal itself.

In this episode of The Paranormal Prism, I am joined by Ottawa-based horror author and self-confessed oddball Stephanie Anne to explore the darker side of storytelling.

Stephanie shares her unsettling paranormal experience inside the historic Ottawa Jail, where she felt an intense presence hovering over her and watching her from within the cells. She also discusses her journey from a nervous horror fan to a published author fascinated by ghosts, haunted locations and disturbing tales.

The conversation explores the inspiration and research behind several of her books, including Modern Hauntings, The Tunnel, Skull Daddy, Falling Apart and They See Me. Stephanie reveals how nightmares, family trauma, paranormal television, abandoned subway tunnels and real-life experiences have influenced her writing.

From haunted institutions and ghost-hunting equipment to zombie funerals, exorcisms and a mysterious cat with Grim Reaper-like abilities, this episode offers a fascinating—and frequently humorous—look inside the imagination of a horror writer.

Join our lively conversation about paranormal encounters, horror movies, writing genuinely frightening scenes and finding inspiration in some of life’s darkest moments.

In Today's episode of The Paranormal Prism, I have the pleasure of welcoming Jay, Rebecca and Vanessa from Maritime Ghost Investigations for a fascinating conversation about their experiences investigating the unexplained.

The team shares how personal encounters, spiritualism and psychic mediumship brought them together, combining intuitive abilities with technical analysis and historical research. They discuss unexplained voices, shadow figures, physical contact from unseen forces and remarkable evidence captured at locations across Nova Scotia and the United States—including the Jerome Grand Hotel, the USS Hornet and Hot Lake Springs.

With their philosophy of “evidence over entertainment,” Maritime Ghost Investigations explains how they validate mediumistic impressions, examine EVPs and try to eliminate natural explanations. They also reflect on spiritual protection, respecting the personalities behind reported hauntings and the strange experiences that continue to challenge their understanding of the paranormal.

This week on The Paranormal Prism, I have the pleasure of talking with Self-published Author and Editor Cyn Schrader-Hill and Psychic Medium, Channeler, Artist and Author Marc Elliott Feltz for a lively conversation filled with paranormal stories, creativity and plenty of humour.

Cyn and Marc discuss their long-standing friendship and creative partnership, including their latest book, Chilled to the Bone, a collection of unsettling paranormal encounters designed to leave readers feeling its title. They also explore Marc’s upcoming Psychic Worm Stitch, his personal theory about psychic abilities, consciousness, DNA memory, reincarnation and how the spirit enters and leaves the body.

The conversation also examines near-death experiences, mediumship, communicating with departed loved ones and whether death is truly the end.

Packed with fascinating ideas, personal experiences and good-natured chaos, this is an entertaining journey through paranormal literature, psychic phenomena, life after death, music and the mysteries of human consciousness.

In this episode of The Paranormal Prism, I am joined by my good friend Elliot Luijkenaar, co-founder of Phantoms of Yore, for a fascinating conversation about paranormal experiences, historic locations, and the search for the unexplained.

Elliot shares how childhood encounters—including seeing a mysterious white apparition above his bed—helped shape a lifelong fascination with the paranormal. He explains why he prefers the term “experiencer” rather than investigator, believing that the goal shouldn't necessarily be to prove ghosts exist, but to document experiences that currently have no clear explanation.

The conversation explores how Phantoms of Yore began and how a passion for history developed into public paranormal events designed to help support and preserve historic locations. Elliot shares experiences from locations including the Historic SDG Jail, L'Orignal Jail, Mill of Kintail, Pennhurst State School, Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, and the Conjuring House.

Among the strangest stories is an unexplained voice captured during an Estes Method session at Trans-Allegheny, along with mysterious photographs, unexplained footsteps, voices, equipment activations, physical encounters, and possible poltergeist activity.

Lee and Elliot also discuss the importance of skepticism, historical research, respecting the people connected to these locations, and never automatically labelling unexplained evidence as paranormal.

This episode asks an important question: Do we really need to prove the paranormal exists—or is experiencing something we cannot explain enough?

This week on The Paranormal Prism, I am joined by Ricky, host of Anything Is Possible, for a fascinating conversation about paranormal experiences, unexplained encounters, and why keeping an open—but critical—mind is so important.

Ricky shares how his fascination with the unexplained began in childhood and recounts some of the strange experiences that have followed him throughout his life. These include witnessing what appeared to be violent poltergeist activity at a neighbour’s home, a possible UFO encounter, and a mysterious figure he once believed could have been an angel.

We also explores Ricky’s more recent experiences, including a GoPro mysteriously losing its battery while recording in his family’s historic burial ground, an unsettling experience inside caves in the Ozarks, and hearing unexplained music and distant cannon or musket fire while visiting the Shiloh battlefield.

Ricky and I,  also discuss the importance of debunking paranormal evidence, understanding how equipment works, recognising visual and audio pareidolia, and resisting the temptation to label every unexplained photograph, sound, or experience as paranormal.

From childhood encounters and haunted battlefields to UFOs, spirit communication, podcasting, and the question of what might exist beyond our current understanding, this episode reminds us that when exploring the unexplained… anything really is possible.

This week on The Paranormal Prism, I am delighted to welcome Paranormal Paul, host of the Paranormal Among Us podcast, for a fascinating discussion about investigating the unexplained.

Paul shares how a knee replacement recovery unexpectedly led him into paranormal podcasting, before discussing chilling EVPs, mysterious scratches during investigations, respecting reportedly haunted locations, and why evidence should always be approached with an open mind and healthy skepticism.

The conversation also explores Bigfoot after Paul discovered an enormous 18-inch footprint near Missouri's infamous Mayas Asylum, along with ghost hunting, paranormal investigation, interviewing eyewitnesses, and the importance of curiosity over sensationalism.

Packed with humour, personal experiences, cryptids, ghosts, and thought-provoking discussion, this is an episode paranormal enthusiasts won't want to miss.
