Chris is an internationally recognized paranormal investigator, spiritualist, medium, artist and speaker with over five decades of first-hand encounters with the supernatural and the spiritual realms. 

We started off talking about the right way to get guests on a podcast, and Chris's 18 month battle with Cancer.

We spoke about his early experiences of seeing ghosts and spirits and the precognitive dream that he had about his sister drowning.

This week on Streamin' Demons, Jo and Emile take on Sinners — Ryan Coogler's vampire-blues-period-piece starring Michael B. Jordan as both twins. The performances are genuinely great, the characters feel real, and Jordan pulling off two distinct people in the same frame is a real feat. The setting, costuming, and makeup are all top-tier. The problem is everything around them: the film welds a musician arc to a creature-feature and commits to neither, running 2h17 that feels like a Hobbit movie with two-and-a-half endings. A decent B-movie carried by a great cast — and an Oscar that's at least 40% gimmick.

Key Moments

 * The glazing first – Credit where it's due: Jordan plays both twins in the same frame, nobody acts badly, and you actually care about the brothers.
 * Two movies in a trenchcoat – Emile's main beef: a musician movie with horror bolted on, committing to neither. Jo's verdict — 'Dusk Till Dawn as a musical.'
 * The runtime that lies – Both clock it as way longer than 2h17 — a natural ending, then another, then another. Emile paused halfway and finished the next day.
 * The Klan-fire history – Jo ties the non-vampire plot to real history and It: Welcome to Derry — plus a genuine "how did the fire start?" debate (listeners, 'call in').
 * Racial tension done right – Layered overtones: white landowners, Black characters, and the Irish as a separate rung entirely. The non-horror story could've stood alone.
 * How it should've ended – Both wanted it to close on the first ending; Jo runs through Inception, Shutter Island, and 12 Monkeys as the ambiguous-ending school this one chickened out of.
 * The Oscar gimmick – Emile: the win is maybe 40% the twin trick. Great performance, not a Best Picture.
 * Score vs. the guitar – The background music's so good neither remembers it; the 12-minute guitar solo is the Yngwie Malmsteen problem.
 * Where it lands – Not bad, just too long. A solid B-movie tiered low-B/high-C, and one neither needed to see in a theater.
 * Final verdict – Worth a watch for the cast and craft, but it's two movies fighting over one runtime. No plugs this week — just the usual "good day, y'all."

 * The heart of it: loss – Losing her mother, a young friend, and fellow Vegas artist Masuimi Max within weeks of each other. Grief as waves, the year after as a chrysalis, and the slow rebuild.
 * Advice to her younger self – Ignore everyone who says art isn't a real job. Keep being weird, keep being creative, keep falling in love.

Mad Ange: Sobriety, Grief & the Long Crawl Back | What's Kraken

This week on Streamin' Demons, Jo and Sofia G dig into Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein (2025) — and no, not Benicio. It's del Toro telling the story he's wanted to make since he read the novel at eleven: gorgeous, deeply personal, with costuming and set design doing half the storytelling and a creature that ends up being the most human thing on screen. Both of them cried. More than once. It's a horror movie, but it's really poetry on film.

 * The wedding dress – The centerpiece costume tying Elizabeth to the creature — and Jo pushing Sofia, a real dressmaker, to chase costume design.
 * Immortality – The creature's ask for a companion, and whether either host would actually want to live forever (Jo: hard no).
 * Final verdict – Beautiful, layered, devastating. Watch it, bless your eyeballs, bring tissues.

Frankenstein (2025) Breakdown: del Toro's Masterpiece, Mia Goth & That Wedding Dress | Streamin' Demons

This week i am delighted to have a good friend with me Irene Achelois. Irene is a gifted medium with over 20 years of experience as a scientist, She's also the star of Transcribing on the Spirit Realm Network and co-host of the New Era Paranormal podcast. 

Irene starting realising at an early age that she had mediumistic skills, when she saw a young boy with a head wound in her bedroom

We then discussed how Irene communicates with spirits, and the use of the different 'Clairs' 

Irene then explained about her massive internal debate between her Orthodox beliefs, her spiritual beliefs and her scientific training

We reminisced about our meeting at the L'Original Jail, in Hawksbury Ontario

We then spoke about her ability of Trance Scribing and how individuals can nurture and learn their mediumistic abilities

The final point of the evening was when my deceased Paternal Grandmother came in unexpectedly to say Hi :)

Tonight I am delighted to talk with Maxim W. Furek, he's an Paranormal Author and researcher whose work spans psychology, addictions, music journalism and paranormal culture.

Max's  interest in science fiction and the paranormal started as a child, reading comic books and watching the twilight zone.

Max and i, then went on to talk about the drone hysteria of 2024, Chinese weather balloons, the whistleblower testimonies and the Tic-Tac Video

We then discussed, the exorcism of Annelise Michel, Ed and Lorraine Warren, the Smurl Hauntings and the Annabelle Doll.

We then finished off the episode by talking about Pattie and the Patterson Gimlin film of 1967



S2  E22 Maxim W. Furek - Paranormal Author	

This week i am delighted to be talking to Sasquatch and Bigfoot enthusiast and video documenter Dennis Rickman.

From watching Mysterious Monsters as a kid, Dennis has been hooked on Cryptids from an early age, to the point where he created his Youtube Channel Upper Canada Sasquatch.

Dennis explained the differences of various forest animals, and the one growl he heard, that was not recognisable.

Dennis then tells me about the 10-14 inch footprints, and explains how they are not of any human or animal that he knows.

I then asked Dennis if he thought the bigfoot/Sasquatch was a primitive human, human-guerilla hybrid or something else

Dennis then showed me a cast of a 18 inch bigfoot footprint, that he was gifted

Finally we discussed about what the cryptids thing about humans and what would he do if he found the body of a bigfoot.

This week i am delighted to talk too Curtis Riersgard from Purgatory Adventures, Saskatchewan.

From hearing hissing and growls, Curtis had an interest in the paranormal since he was 12 years old. He also experienced his first attachment.

Purgatory Adventures was created when Curtis was 20, and from having rocks thrown at him to hearing ghostly voices

We then discussed various types of paranormal equipment including the SLS (Structured Light Sensor) Camera.

We finally discussed how difficult or easy it was to investigate buildings in Saskatchewan and Ontario, and there was also a quick mention of the local Saskatchewan cryptid the Rougarou.

This week i am delighted to have the return of Tommy Cullum, host of Let's Get Freaky podcast.

We were going to talk about Flower arranging, but Tommy wasn't keen

From seeing floating buildings in the sky, to the release of UFO Files, UFO Whistleblowers and the stories going around about missing UFO related Scientists.

Tommy then told me about his friend seeing a Reptilian on the London Underground and when with his Mother in law, seeing mutating silvery flying objects.

We then discussed the recent controversy of the Patterson Gimlin film, Is Pattie real or Fake?

We finished off, by me asking Tommy about what he had learnt in the 4 years of the Lets get Freaky Podcast, apparently nothing :)
