Crossover Introduction with Craig

00:00:11
afcbournement
Hi everyone, welcome back to Daily Bournemouth Podcast with me, one of your hosts, Luke Burrows. And today we have a crossover episode for this weekend's Premier League fixtures, Bournemouth against Villa, or actually Villa at home, so it should maybe be Villa against

Admiration for Bournemouth Fans

00:00:26
afcbournement
Bournemouth. We have Craig joining us from the Daily Villa Podcast. Craig, thank you for joining me. How are you doing today?
00:00:36
Craig Birtwistle
Doing very well. and Very excited to be on this because I'm actually a big fan of Bournemouth in general. Every time like I've had conversations with the with fans of Bournemouth, the one thing I've really loved is how down-to-earth and realistic Bournemouth fans are. They are very good to praise their team i and they aren't over-critical, which I can't always say about our own fan base at some time.
00:01:05
afcbournement
really? Well, yeah, I guess it's a compliment for all of former fans out there. So, yeah, thank you for that. But let's ah ah start this episode talking about both of our teams start to the season.

Villa's Journey under Emery

00:01:20
afcbournement
I guess for like a villa side of the last kind of two you were two wish is it two seasons, maybe 18 months or since Steven Gerrard left. And Emery coming in has kind of been a bit of a whirlwind, you know, like kind of, but but you know, getting up in into the top parts of of the table, you know, and fighting there again this season fourth, I think you are, and lost the one game, Champions League. Yeah, like, but actually, before we start, both our teams start the season later. What's the journey been like and Emery?
00:01:51
Craig Birtwistle
Oh, it's crazy. you You mentioned the name that should not be mentioned in Steven Gerrard, that's for sure. but
00:01:57
afcbournement
i'm sorry i'm sorry to forgive me
00:02:00
Craig Birtwistle
we We have left him far behind in our rearview mirror now, so it's all good. So yeah, you say it's a whirlwind, but like for a whirlwind to happen, I feel like we need to come down first and we still keep going up and up and up to be perfectly honest. It's a very good time to be a Villa fan at the moment and I'm 42 and I haven't said that much in my lifetime, so I'm i'm enjoying it while I can now.
00:02:26
Craig Birtwistle
It's been a amazing journey.
00:02:27
afcbournement
I'm sorry.
00:02:29
Craig Birtwistle
Emory really has embedded success in our club and it's a very hard word to use success because obviously we still haven't won anything. We haven't won anything since 96.
00:02:42
Craig Birtwistle
So, but like the future looks bright as being a Vella fan and we're doing really well. We've started the season while we had a loss to Arsenal, which could have easily been a draw or a win as well.
00:02:53
Craig Birtwistle
And we're doing well in the Champions League. This recording is actually going out before we play Bologna in the Champions League as well. So all the comments I make about the Villa lineup and everything is touch and go based on if we get any injuries. Fingers crossed we don't on Wednesday night.
00:03:10
afcbournement
yeah i guess that's kind of a little bit of maybe not give Bournemouth fans hope or anything, but, you know, like, we have the midweek games and obviously other teams aren't in those competitions. Yours, you know, like, injuries could come up, you know, obviously for you guys. And actually, for my personal level, I don't wish any player to get injured, actually. But, you know, you never know what happens and then how that would affect, like, Yeah, the weekend's games. I guess that's But, yeah, kind of in terms of the start to the season, a little bit I feel like both of teams actually
00:03:40
afcbournement
Bournemouth and Areola, obviously yourselves, and Henry played pretty good football, two to be honest. So, like

Game Strategy: Villa vs Bournemouth

00:03:49
Craig Birtwistle
So, I'm going to do this. I totally agree. I think it's it's an entertaining game. It's both teams that want to go all out and win, I do respect Bournemouth for that. I feel they play a very direct game. And a lot of lot of teams, a lot of fans talk about the word directors being like this ugly word and everything like that. And when I say Bournemouth aren't direct,
00:03:50
afcbournement
yeah, it should make for a good game, I think.
00:04:15
Craig Birtwistle
I don't mean I consider them a long ball team. I mean that the fact is they're not going to play possession for possession sake. They like to get forward. They like to break teams down. And I think that's going to be the main issue of the game. It's going to be Villa's possession versus Bournemouth's counter-attacking.
00:04:34
afcbournement
Interesting, yeah. Yeah, you make a good point there about like when people do think about kind of direct, they think kind of, you know, center forward up front, you know, like long ball kind of, you know, you know, but neither of our teams kind of play like that, out right? So, yeah, it should make for a good game.
00:04:56
afcbournement
So, you yeah, you I mean, you I alluded to it beforehand in terms of the just start to the season. I think if you pick it, well, in the league, is it like five wins, two draws, just just the one defeat against Arsenal? And as you said, that could have been easily been a draw.
00:05:12
afcbournement
or a win. There was the draw against, was it Man United? I did actually watch that game. I think it was that after Champions League night. I felt Villa would just kind of off it probably. The whole game kind of lacked a bit of energy, I guess. What did you make of that game?
00:05:34
Craig Birtwistle
Yeah, it was simple as we just come off a magical night, basically, at Villa Park, where we'd be going.
00:05:39
afcbournement
Yeah, but against Bayern, yeah.
00:05:41
Craig Birtwistle
Yeah, so it's like the continental hangover that happens all the time. And it as you say, we just didn't look sharp that day. We didn't look on our game. We had decent possession and everything, but when it came to the final third, we just seemed off it.
00:05:57
Craig Birtwistle
And I think that's going to happen. And Villa fans need to accept that. like with us being in all these competitions at the moment we are going to have days like that and I think a lot of teams will relish wanting to play us after a Champions League game as opposed to a week when we're fresh. So it's definitely something we've got to manage but we do have one of the best managers that knows how to get the best out of players in European competition.
00:06:24
afcbournement
Interesting. Yeah. And game, the the previous game was a 3-1 win against Fulham. And both teams had a men's man sent off, I believe.
00:06:34
afcbournement
I think that like last weekend in terms of Premier League, there was a lot of red cards. So I don't know if you've kind of seen that. I was like, well, where are all these red cards going from?
00:06:40
Craig Birtwistle
Yeah.
00:06:42
afcbournement
didn't see actually what happened within like the Fulham match from a red card perspective. So yeah, kind of what happened?
00:06:53
Craig Birtwistle
Yes so Philogene got a yellow card as when he came on off the bench and I think it was like the 91st minute or something like that they had a they got in behind us they were dribbling down the left channel just outside the box
00:06:55
afcbournement
Okay. i just
00:07:10
Craig Birtwistle
he's placed his hand on the guy's shoulder and the guy went down and the referee gave him a second yellow which in my opinion should never have been a yellow but the end of the day it was given ah so we'll be without Phila Jean for that game which is which is very disappointing. Phila Jean won't be known to a lot of Premier League players, Premier League fans I should say and but he's done really well for the Villa and his youngster that's coming through the ranks and he He played against Bayern Munich and he did not disappoint. He played up against one of the best teams in in the world, frankly. So see a lot from that boy. So he's a big loss for us to play against Bournemouth. As I say, with Champions League football this week, we hope that there will be no others missing. But the yellow card was soft. It's going to be a big miss for the Bournemouth game and hopefully he'll be the only one missing.
00:08:03
afcbournement
Interesting. Yeah, well, we'll pick out some so more kind of key battles and players after we take a break in

Bournemouth's Triumph Over Arsenal

00:08:08
afcbournement
just a moment. But yeah, I think from a Bournemouth perspective, I'll start this season. like I think before the first international break, we started quite well. I don't think we lost a game. And then, yeah, kind of since afterwards, the disappointing thing, OK, we've just come off and got a very good win as well against Arsenal that when no one, like,
00:08:30
afcbournement
No one predicted that. If you go back and listen to the previous pre previous podcast we did and building up to that and with the Arsenal guys and then Vic and Dom did one, and the other guys I do this podcast with.
00:08:46
afcbournement
like the best we hoped for was a draw. you know So to come away with like a 2-0 win was crazy and actually Dom and Vic go to the match because it's a season to get hold of. So yeah, we messaged each other after the game and was just like, what just happened?
00:08:59
afcbournement
you know So a great game and I think deserved as well you know from what I saw of the match and from what Dom and Vic Vic said being in the stands and stuff, but kind of that game aside, yeah, like our problem has been losing to Sri Lankan and obviously scoring scoring goals.
00:09:00
Craig Birtwistle
All right.
00:09:18
afcbournement
But think, you know, being 10th in the table so far, three wins, three defeats, and two draws and is is ah ah is pretty
00:09:28
afcbournement
But yeah, I just kind of want to try and push on up to, you know, 94 or something now. But yeah to like improve on last season because that's kind of we finished I think 11th last season so yeah you yeah really disappointing
00:09:43
Craig Birtwistle
if you look at the yeah five teams that you've just played as well like honestly the only game that I feel you should be disappointed with was Leicester because that's like a very important battle but like you played Chelsea, you played Liverpool, you played Arsenal in those previous five. So I don't think Bournemouth should go to any team with fear, that's for sure. um Like the likes of trying to sneak a draw out of like Arsenal, totally agree with that. Even for Villa, if you would have said we would have got a draw against that Arsenal, the that game we lost with them, I probably would have bit your hand off because those are important points that you're going to get and you just hope you get all those other points of teams that are in and around you because
00:10:23
Craig Birtwistle
We don't expect to be challenging for the league title. That's just not in our wheelhouse yet. We hope to one day aspire to that. But like we don't want to drop points against you likes of Manchester United and Newcastle. All those teams that are edging for potentially that fourth place, fourth, fifth place, place, that curve of efficiency. And I feel the same for Bournemouth, like Bournemouth.
00:10:46
Craig Birtwistle
tell me if I'm wrong, should be aiming for like midtable mid upper table. So losing against teams that they know they should beat against is the is the worry and then trying to pick up points against those teams that understandably you're not expecting to get points again.
00:11:01
Craig Birtwistle
If you can sneak a draw, then all the better.
00:11:03
afcbournement
No, I agree. I think like the upper middle table is like ninth. It's kind of like where we kind of want to be. But then if we're like 12th, 13th as well, you know, it's like, okay, you know, I think because last season we did finish 11th.
00:11:22
afcbournement
I feel like you never kind of won the next season to go like below that, but then again, this is the premier league. So like, yeah, it's, it's obviously really, really tough. yeah, you know, I, I, uh, I agree with that. So, but yeah, obviously good one for you away from home and good one for us coming off of that. And so we'll just kind of see what happens with you guys midweek. But,
00:11:46
afcbournement
Yeah, I'll take a quick break and then we'll pick up some key players and and discuss those.
00:12:04
afcbournement

00:12:57
afcbournement
Okay, Greg, so pick out like villas danger man, like who are the players, you know, we've alluded to a few times midweek, you know, some things could happen, maybe, maybe not, no one knows at the time of recording this. But let's just say, you know, everyone's, you know, you get through midweek fine, fit, who are some danger men that from a Bournemouth perspective, we need to look out for.
00:13:28
Craig Birtwistle
Yeah, so big one for me at the moment is Morgan Rogers. I think Morgan Rogers is the fact that he is the most surprising package, I think, in the Premier League currently. We signed him from Middlesbrough back last January. And when he came in, I've alluded to this on on the own Daily Villa podcast, that when he came in, I thought, oh, this is a great sign. It's going to be a good squad player.
00:13:53
Craig Birtwistle
But now, essentially, he's our first name on our team sheet. He is so effective.
00:13:56
afcbournement
Really? No.
00:13:58
Craig Birtwistle
Yes, he really is. He does very good at running at defenders, which creates space for Ollie Watkins. I think Watkins is like loving working alongside Morgan Rogers.
00:14:09
Craig Birtwistle
And if Morgan Rogers starts to find that ah killer instinct inside the box, I think he's going to be world class. I really do. think there'll be lots of comparisons with Jude Bellingham as he grows up.
00:14:22
Craig Birtwistle
I speak that high of him. I think he's such a good player and I think with him running and trying to drag players like Sensi out of position and I apologize if I butcher some of these names but Zabriani
00:14:37
afcbournement
as Yeah, yeah, it's a bringy or something. Yeah. Yeah, I know.
00:14:41
Craig Birtwistle
have really yet so if he pulls them out of positions and Ollie Watkins can find the pockets of space in the in the half space in the back four I think that's going to cause a lot of trouble. do think down the wing as well we'll have good options with Jacob Ramsey and if and it's a big if if Leon Bailey can find his form he's extremely dangerous coming in from the outside but he has had a tough start to the season And I think with the likes of obviously suspended for this weekend, but and with Philogene breathing down his neck, he's really got to start picking up that form. And I'm kind of hoping that maybe we'll see it against Bournemouth.
00:15:24
afcbournement
Yeah, I do like Bailey, to be honest, when he used to play for love accusing.
00:15:29
Craig Birtwistle
yeah
00:15:30
afcbournement
and that so yeah I do like him, but yeah, think Would it be right be saying a little bit more end product like goals assist?
00:15:40
Craig Birtwistle
So it's not really about this season, although obviously that would massively help, but it's just been absent in games and like on a team that is thriving at the moment and seeing a lot of the ball in games and stuff like that, it's a worry because he he ended last season as one of our best players.
00:16:00
Craig Birtwistle
and the fact that now it's getting to a point where it's like should he really be starting because he isn't showing that quality that we know he's capable of and I do really think it's It's been because of a bit of complacency, because of a lack of challenge for his right-wing position. If you will, with Wendia being injured, we yeah we sold DRB in the summer, so it's kind of like gone out. But now, as I say, with Phila Jean showing a lot of promise, maybe that will push him on, because we've seen at the Villa competition for places has really helped some players thrive, like Duran, Watkins,
00:16:42
Craig Birtwistle
luca dean who just seems like a new man now ever since Madison joined the club. So it's great. So how how do you guys see planning out with Bournemouth? How do you think you'll be able to nullify those threats?
00:16:57
afcbournement
Yeah. So it's interesting because that means Bailey will come up against our left back, which is Kirk as, which does like to get forward. So, you know, if we, if Kirk is gets forward and then, you know, obviously doesn't get back, you know, that can leave a lot of space for Bailey. And so that's a little bit of of of a concern and Kirk is was amazing in against Arsenal. One of our,
00:17:23
afcbournement
better players on well you know amazing team performance, but he he was a standout player. So that's a little bit of a... <unk> because I think giving Bailey space, although he as you're saying, you he hasn't been informed this season. You don't want to give him too much space either. right you know so And you know it could be one of those games where yeah he's able to find his form. So that's a bit of a red flag, as as I say. Defensively, we've been i mean we've scored 10 and conceded 10. So you know we're on zero goal difference. So think our actually strongest
00:17:57
afcbournement
position the pitches in the center, and in in midfield. So it could be a battle of the center of of of the
00:18:10
afcbournement
But yeah, we we have the village strikers. I'm a bit in attacking kind of force. I'm a bit kind of concerned there. So I don't know, you know, we don't normally like change formation kind of that much like go to a back, you know, five or whatever.
00:18:23
afcbournement
So I'm not sure how we nullify it.
00:18:24
Craig Birtwistle
Okay.
00:18:28
afcbournement
Maybe it's just about kind of like trying to play our own game.
00:18:31
Craig Birtwistle
All right.
00:18:33
afcbournement
yeah But yeah, when I was kind of looking at the team sheets, et cetera, on that, but you know, your right, our left, you know, could be interesting because, you know, Kirk is going forward, helps down that side, create chances and and build it, play down that side. But then it's the counter attack on that side, you know, Craig, if that makes sense. So it should be an interesting interesting one. I did want to ask actually about Diabe, because at the time, again, I'm from afar,
00:19:01
afcbournement
kind of what happened there because I thought he was doing quite well and then he like sold him so do you have any insights there or or maybe I just seen you know like two or three games where he done well and then the rest of the time he didn't
00:19:16
Craig Birtwistle
yeah I was disappointed when D'Arby left, I'll be perfectly honest, because we only had him for a year. brought him in, he helped us get Champions League football and then he left.

D'Arby's Transfer to Saudi Arabia

00:19:26
Craig Birtwistle
So, one, I was disappointed by the individual, the fact that he would take that money and just basically end his career as far as I'm concerned.
00:19:34
Craig Birtwistle
Because which player doesn't want to play in the Champions League?
00:19:36
afcbournement
yes I guess Saudi, isn't it? Yeah, yeah.
00:19:38
Craig Birtwistle
It was, yeah, he's gone to Saudi Arabia and instead of playing for a team in the Champions League. So from a personal point of view, as someone that like was never good enough to play professional football, as simple as that, like but I would have given my arm and leg to have been able to play, let alone play in a team representing the Champions League. So it was definitely power player power that caused the transfer.
00:20:02
Craig Birtwistle
that he pushed for it because he wanted the financial benefits. And here's the thing, if that if that's your end goal, then fair enough, go for it. you know I mean, if that's what matters to him, but I was disappointed from that.
00:20:13
Craig Birtwistle
So it was a case of the player wanted to go, the money was there. We had FFP issues going into the season. That's another reason why we lost Dougie Louise as well, for example, which was another player that I was disappointed to see go.
00:20:27
afcbournement
Mhm.
00:20:27
Craig Birtwistle
But Dougie Louise,
00:20:31
Craig Birtwistle
and speaking about duran in in general and sorry dbi sorry and speaking back to two of them The biggest issues for me was when they were on fire they were fantastic players.
00:20:43
Craig Birtwistle
But when they weren't, they were passengers. And they weren't always as consistent as can be, especially D'Arby. And D'Arby was a case of when we played against teams that pushed against us, that really went for it and left space in behind, D'Arby was a threat. But whenever we played against teams that sat in and defended against us, he was a passenger.
00:21:08
Craig Birtwistle
because he just couldn't break down teams. If he couldn't get in behind them with his speed and his power and his pace, it just didn't happen for him. So looking back now, as those two players that have moved on, I don't see that much of a loss anymore.
00:21:23
Craig Birtwistle
At the time I did, but and that's exactly why Emery gets paid the big bucks, to be perfectly honest.
00:21:23
afcbournement
Mm.
00:21:28
Craig Birtwistle
i I didn't see the full method behind it. and now I do and I see a team that's at Villa that's got good competition for places nearly all the way through it and in terms of actual just finding a weakness which I'm sure your Bournemouth fans will will like to hear at everything like that is the only thing that I see as a concern for this weekend is our right-hand side and especially if Kanza still isn't given a first-time position which I'm hoping and he will be
00:22:02
Craig Birtwistle
with Diego Carlos, who's a left footed centre back, playing on the right. And Malekash. I think Malekash is a good player and I know a lot of people are possibly sick of me criticising him and it's not necessarily a criticise of the player.
00:22:16
Craig Birtwistle
I just think it's how weak his position in the team. I think our right back position is a weakness. And I do think your left wing is one of the strongest in yours. Semenya. Is that how you pronounce his name?
00:22:27
afcbournement
Yes, menu. Yeah, yeah, it's just a menu in Kirk.
00:22:29
Craig Birtwistle
Yeah.
00:22:29
afcbournement
So Kirk is obviously like, would be the left back.
00:22:31
Craig Birtwistle
Yeah.
00:22:33
afcbournement
So yeah, going forward down that side, as I said, like the build up play and kind of overlapped, et cetera, could be interesting. But then if you break on that side with Bailey, you know, you and like that pace, it's like, how's that going to play out, you know?
00:22:46
Craig Birtwistle
Exactly, but just to keep it on the side of the the weakness for a Villa and the strength, for for a if can play in the half space with Semenya against Cash, I think that's going to be a real tough battle for us.
00:22:51
afcbournement
Hmm.
00:23:02
Craig Birtwistle
And I think we've just got to be prepared for that. Obviously, Emory is, all according to all the player interviews that I hear recently, that he drills into them all the strengths and all the weaknesses of every team. And they say, like Onana mentioned the other day, that when they go on the field, they feel they know the team as well as they know each other.
00:23:22
Craig Birtwistle
So I expect these sort of things to be addressed but for a Bournemouth fan that channel in that left hand side in between the centre back and the right back for Villa I think could be our weakness and the ability for a Bournemouth to unlock us.
00:23:40
afcbournement
Interesting, fascinating how that how that side's gonna play out. So who's like your backup right back? it Would it be Konza? I mean, Konza can play right back as well. he He's usually the right sensor back, isn't he? Do you have a backup right back or not? Or no, not really. Just the only options cash.
00:23:59
Craig Birtwistle
We have two young players that have played there this season. But once both players were used, it's Nedlakovic, my son, or correct me if I've said that name wrong. And Bogard, as both played in that position, but have both disappeared from the starting lineup, and Kansa was shifted right when Cash was injured. And we saw against Ipswich, so Kunzel was exposed as not being a right back. He is to me one of the best centre backs in the Premier League. I think when he plays there, he makes our team whole stronger and when he was shifted out right, I think it weakened two of our positions as opposed to strengthening one.
00:24:40
Craig Birtwistle
So we don't really have, in my terms, a quote unquote replacement right back. That's why I think there is no alternative to Matty Cash at the moment. and And that's another good reason I feel like if we bring someone in, we have that same battle on the right hand side that we have for the left with Luca Dean and Ian Madison challenging out for the left back position, which is really for Luca Dean to become a absolute massive improvement of him from last season. So that's why I think the right side is a weakness for us because if cash goes injured, I think your shift comes back out wide and we're back to square one.

Awesome, Craig. So always like to finish these episodes with some predictions. So let's start with... Actually, let's start with a rough kind of lineup prediction from like a villa side.
00:26:39
afcbournement
So obviously, we've eluded a few times, Bologna and depend even like if you all your players get through that game. Fatigue, you know, are you at home for that game or away?
00:26:50
Craig Birtwistle
Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.
00:26:53
Craig Birtwistle
We're out.
00:26:53
afcbournement
You're home. Okay. Okay. So that kind of makes it. So yes, that means you would have two two home games.
00:27:00
Craig Birtwistle
Yeah.
00:27:00
afcbournement
Yeah, two home games. Okay.
00:27:02
Craig Birtwistle
right
00:27:02
afcbournement
That's very helpful for you guys. So yeah, if if you were no more injuries, you know, what would be like your strongest team, do you think, to put out?
00:27:13
Craig Birtwistle
It's funny because like we mentioned earlier about the potential for Leon Bailey being left out and I'm probably going to go along those sides because I do think we need a bit more coverage on that right hand side. So I'm actually going to go with Martinez and Gull. Cash right back, hopefully Kanza back to partner Torres's centre back.
00:27:35
Craig Birtwistle
Luca Dean on the left and then in midfield I'm actually going to drop Bailey and put McGinn back in who seems like he should be back to full fitness. I think he'll potentially not start against Bologna but I think he'll start in the Premier League so McGinn will play out on the right which will give a little bit more coverage for cash on that your left hand side to defend against the players like Kakes and Semenyo and Tavernier that we mentioned earlier.
00:28:02
Craig Birtwistle
Midfield with Tealamans and Ohnana. On the left, Jacob Ramsey, and then up top, it would be Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins.
00:28:14
afcbournement
Pretty strong, pretty strong. From our side, I mean, as soon as we've got that and amazing him win against Arsenal, I'm like, no changes, you you know? Like, new you know, so, yeah, like, Keppering-Gull, Arejo, right back, Zabani, Sinensei, Toussaint about, it's Kukez, midfield was, I think it's Scott and Cook, and then Otara, Tavernier, Semenyo, Bangleson.
00:28:23
Craig Birtwistle
I totally agree.
00:28:43
afcbournement
maybe Christie could come in for Scott, but like why change a team just beat Arsenal?
00:28:50
Craig Birtwistle
Yeah.
00:28:50
afcbournement
It was good to see Tyler Adams actually back on the bench in in the Arsenal game because he's been out for a long time with an injury and yeah, I do like him. But yeah, I don't think much you know many changes from our side personally seen as we got a good win.
00:29:04
afcbournement
So, school prediction, what do you think school will be?
00:29:09
Craig Birtwistle
It's a tough one because I do think this is a game that could it easily be a banana skin for us, especially with, as I say, continental hangover and everything like that. But I am confident I'm going to go for a two nil win. I'm going to go with Watkins and Morgan Rogers to get our two goals.
00:29:29
afcbournement
interesting. So I don't think we can go to Villa Park and win, to be honest. I think our away record at the season hasn't been good, but you know that's where we got the disappointment result against Leicester. you know We were away in that game. So I think If we were at home, and I mean, after we got Man City, right? So it's like free Arsenal, Arsenal, Villa Man City, it's crazy free games, which is why the Leicester result was so disappointing. Anyway, I think if we were at home, I would give us more of a chance of winning the game, you know, at the in court. But I think away from him, the best, and this is my optimistic self, the best I could probably hope for is to get a draw. So I'm going to say,
00:30:10
afcbournement
a 2-2 draw because, as you know, yeah, that's the best I can hope for.
00:30:12
Craig Birtwistle
Oh.
00:30:16
afcbournement
And from our side, although I don't want to see any player injured or anything, maybe a continental hangover again from from your side. So, yeah, I'm going to say 2-2.
00:30:28
afcbournement
I'm going to say, yeah, I think Watkins and Rogers will get on the score sheet. I like their kind of
00:30:39
afcbournement
Yeah, relationship kind of on ah on the pitch and stuff. And then from our side, hmm, I'm going to say hopefully Evangelson scores again. Obviously he was our replacement for Sarankees and he's got one goal so far. So I'm wanting him to get on the score. She ends the menu because he is our top score at the season. I think his form will continue.
00:30:59
afcbournement
So there we go. 2-2. Awesome, Craig. Thanks so much. This was a pleasure learning a bit more about kind of Villa.
00:31:06
Craig Birtwistle
You're welcome.
00:31:08
afcbournement
And and you know similarly to you, you know I do like Villa as well as as as the team. so yeah we will see what happens but by the way good luck for the midweek game and the rest of the season whatever whatever happens and uh yeah we will talk again in the reverse fiction which i'm not sure when that is but it's probably the second half of the season some some some point so
00:31:21
Craig Birtwistle
Reach out, thanks.
