Hello everyone and welcome back to the daily Manchester United podcast. My name is Niall Hannigan and I am joined by Daniel from from my side of the fence. Daniel, how are you? Yeah, I'm good. I'm good yourself.
00:00:22
Speaker
All good, thank you. And yeah, crossover

00:00:25
Speaker
episode today. And we are hosting Bournemouth and delighted to have Victor joining the join the show. How are you? I know. Last time we met was back in Germany in last summer, wasn't it? Well, this summer, yeah. ah Exactly. I never got to ask you how was your experience in the end, right? Watching Serbia playing playing against England, being a fan of Serbia.
00:00:46
Speaker
Yeah, so for a bit of context, i got ah I got a last minute ticket over to the Euros and in the summer. And of course, I wasn't going to say no, even even though even though I'm not an English fan. ah Sorry for all those English fans that wanted a ticket to get over to the match. But ah yeah, I was a massive Serbian fan for the day. So Victor took me under his wing. He he brought me in with all his Serbian pretty scary friends. Victor, I'm not going to lie. but i was I was, I felt very protected, like it was good. i anyway so Exactly. But a brilliant experience. um Got into the Serbian fan zone as well and then ended up in the Serbian end in Gassenkirchen. Bit of a nightmare trying to get home, but no, brilliant experience. How did you find it? How did you enjoy your summer, Victor? Oh my God, it was brilliant. I mean, it was the funny thing. This is the first time I watched my national team playing live.
00:01:39
Speaker
right And obviously the next one will be next year in November because England is hosting Serbia in Wembley, ah you yeah World Cup qualifiers, so I can't wait for that to come. But yeah, it was a great experience, a great atmosphere, you've been there, you've seen everything. ah And I really wanted to stay longer, you know, but then my missus would kill me because I had to come back for my son's first birthday and I couldn't miss that for the world. so Of course.
Bournemouth's Season and Player Changes
00:02:07
Speaker
It was all good, all great, and I'm really looking forward to more games like that. Brilliant, brilliant. Yeah, well, um I had a great time, and and thanks again for the bringing me into the Serbian crew, so now that was brilliant. I'm Italian.
00:02:22
Speaker
But yeah, we're here for Man United Bournemouth. Plenty to discuss. um I suppose we'll kick off with yourself, Victor, um as the guest of the show. Bournemouth flying this year. Brilliant season. How have you found it? Yeah, I i i say in almost every episode this, like whoever's not the fan of Bournemouth yet, now is the best time to become. This is this is the the highest rank that we've achieved so far. um It's just brilliant. It's amazing watching what the boys can do. um People thought that with Solanke leaving, the team will be tough without a striker. We got Evanelson.
00:03:06
Speaker
um who needs time to fit in the team, but you can already see um his work rate on the pitch and and just how much he gives to the team even off the ball.
Game Analysis: Bournemouth vs West Ham
00:03:17
Speaker
um Last game against West Ham, we had finally Unal scored this season for the first time and it was a brilliant, freaky goal. um I was in the north stand behind the the goal where Bowman was attacking in the second half and the chap next to me um I just said to him, when when when the girls are freaky, I said, just give the ball to Nial and that's the goal. I'm not even going to look at it. And I tell i literally turned around, right? And I was like this. And then I just saw everyone jumping around me and I just was brilliant, brilliant. um i think I think we can still achieve what I predicted in one of the episodes where the season started, which is position number eight for Bournemouth when the league ends. yeah
00:04:04
Speaker
Penalty-wise against West Ham, I don't think that should have been a penalty because much rougher situations and handballs weren't given. Bournemouth was much better. We created a lot of chances. We even hit the post. It was unlucky. Again, I'm glad that we got the point out
Upcoming Match against Manchester United
00:04:21
Speaker
of it. And now going away to you guys. It's, I'd love to see the score from the last season, right? When we beat you three nil in Old Trafford, it was supposedly four nil, but VAR again, again against Bournemouth, VAR does what the VAR does. So, um I think this time will be much tougher. ah Your team is quality. You've got a new coach who seems to be fitting in properly.
00:04:47
Speaker
um Hopefully no penalties in the game, that's all I'm going to say.
Manchester United's Recent Form
00:04:52
Speaker
Yeah, fair. Because that's what Bruno likes.
00:04:58
Speaker
Yeah, we're happy to see you one going there at the weekend. And and yeah, eighth place, I mean, I think Ian Aydofan would probably take eighth place at this stage, Dan. I mean, some of the last the last week, I suppose, it's been so up and down since Amroom come in, but I mean, what a way to finish the weekend.
00:05:13
Speaker
yeah yes I went to my friend's house on on the game on Sunday, so two of my mates, they're city fans and and obviously me and my other mate are United fans. So obviously when they went 1-0, now everyone's shouting in the house and me and my other friend were just a bit tentative and we we we know how it gets for United when we go 1-0 down, it's kind of like, are we going to crack? And I think we kind of stay strong throughout the game and then obviously eight around the eighth, fifth minute, Emma just was just doing what Amad has been doing all season and you just see it was brilliant and then the the not the last minute goal the the house was rocking that's all I can say. Well I don't want to spoil your your your mood guys but you do know that Bournemouth is ah the team that scores most often in the last 10 minutes. so Oh we got some competition. yeah You got some competition right. Even even we've we've proven it even against West Ham.
Old Trafford Memories and Atmosphere
00:06:06
Speaker
The game before that gets tips which 85th and 95th minutes so
00:06:10
Speaker
some Yeah, but I hope the game will be solved way before that. for but hope so do I hope so I hope so too. For a moment, obviously. i yeah I've been to Old Trafford once, but um this time I can't go. um Family commitments. But I've been one and once and I haven't been towards the cherries. I've actually been in 2018 or 2019.
00:06:33
Speaker
When Man United was playing Europa League against Partizan Belgrade, that was Europa League all right yeah fixture. Partizan lost 3-0. We had great
Bournemouth's Rise and Stadium Challenges
00:06:43
Speaker
atmosphere. We had great support from the North County fans who came to support Partizan. The same way that you know how it came to support Serbia. And yeah, and it was brilliant. Old Trafford is really the theatre of dreams. And yeah, I'd love to have a stadium like that in Bournemouth, then everybody will be able to get the tickets, not struggle with 11,307 seats. But yeah.
00:07:09
Speaker
Yeah, brilliant, brilliant. Well, I was actually at that Bournemouth Stadium all the way back when they were in League Two, I think, with the only player I can remember, actually two players I can remember, Darren Anderton at about 42 years old, playing centre midfield, and Maxi Gretel was playing from Bournemouth. Max Gretel, yeah. that great Yeah but it was ah I think it was a pre-season friendly in the summer and and we were down in Bournemouth for a few days and thought we'd call in and yeah to see their meteoric rise under Eddie Howe up to the Premier League and now pretty consistent team in the Premier League gets' um it's it's great to see so yeah hopefully we can get ah a bit of a better stadium down there or a bigger stadium for yourselves so you can bring in all the the new Bournemouth fans but
00:07:58
Speaker
Great stuff, lads.

Manchester United's Upcoming Challenges
00:08:47
Speaker
So, Dan, I'll come to you first. Obviously, you know, you did have ah have a busy schedule. We have Spurs coming up on on the day of the recording. We have it um on Thursday, the next day tomorrow. And then we have Bournemouth, this whole Garnaccio, Rashford situation. Are they going to be in the squad? Are they going to be playing? What do you think? And then how do we kind of fix that team and and get ready for Bournemouth at the weekend?
00:09:10
Speaker
um Obviously, I think just before I came on the pod, I've seen on Twitter that Gynatcho travelled with the squad for the game against Tottenham for tomorrow, so I think there's positives on Gynatcho obviously going back in the team. I'm not too sure what's going on with Gynatcho. There's been quotes obviously saying that he wants to find the new challenge.
00:09:31
Speaker
had to belittle the quotes and in his interview today and say that, well you know, there's a new challenge here at United. However, I'm not too sure what's really going on behind the behind closed doors with, you know, Rashford and Manchester United. And I hope it doesn't end up being anything too ugly. And Rashford himself has said that he doesn't want it to be anything too ugly. So I think in that regard, I think it may be time has ran its time for Rashford at Manchester United. I think it could be a thing where he could be exiled from the sport. I don't want to say exiled because it sounds a bit and extreme, but I feel after that yeah that is kind of the current situation is where I feel like he might not be playing in
Bournemouth's Adaptability and Player Highlights
00:10:13
Speaker
certain games. and
00:10:15
Speaker
up until January, we might not see him and he could be sold in January, but we will have to just wait and see. ah We've gone actually, I think there was probably just, you know, something that had happened behind closed doors and he's all back in the squad because from what I can see, he's back with a squad for ah for this for the Spurs game. But yeah, on on the regard of Bournemouth, I think Bournemouth have been great this season. so They've surprised me a lot. I was i was one of the people that was saying, ah you know, how are they going to, how are they going to fail about, um what's it called, without Salanque. And it was just like,
00:10:44
Speaker
It looks like, even without him, they've improved even more. I used to go to school with Anton Semenya, so I don't know what how quality Semenya is as a player. From season, and me and my friends, we all used to say, ah he just needs time. just needs time He's going to get bam, bam, bam. This season, he's showing it. that the guy he is class every time i watch the menu play he just he's just class evanilson i'm a big fm player so evanilson on fm music he's he's very good so i always thought okay maybe when he came to the premiere league but ah he kind of just struggled to start but he has looked like he's you know he started to fit in and like um vick said
00:11:17
Speaker
he works the stocks off every single game. And there's just there's just a lot of quality you players in that bonus teams. Zabani, their defense, Zabani, they got that young kid that just came in as well. And and the left back, yeah, Hyacinth. And then left back, Kirk. It's just quality players all around the team. So it is going to be a struggle one on ah on the weekend. However, I think like like like you said, with the new manager and the new system we've got playing, I think it's going to be a very good game to watch.
00:11:44
Speaker
Absolutely. And yeah, so interesting about Semeniu. I mean, that was obviously one of the players we were going to bring up. But yeah, Semeniu, Vanilsson, like you were mentioning, and then the left-back, Carques has been unbelievable. And like, classic, you know, Man United are linked with everyone. But like, where we are crying out for a left-back of decent quality that can stay on the pitch and not get injured. You're not going to get him.
00:12:09
Speaker
I'll call him up now and I'll say, or if you want to go, just know mine united me. Don't do it. But then you can come back to Old Trafford. It's a perfect deal. We'll throw in a few tickets for you as well in the deal. Doesn't work like that, my friend. Doesn't work like that.
00:12:27
Speaker
Good stuff. But yeah, I suppose Victor, you mentioned um you know quality ah quality opposition or you know potential quality opposition of United and the talent that they have in the team. What's your thoughts going into the game? like Obviously, you must be full of confidence, but you United have somehow pulled a bit of a result out at the weekend. I'll give you and my opinion, but obviously with a lot of positivity, right? Because I've got to be positive. I'm um'm a cherry, of course. I always think in a positive way.
00:13:00
Speaker
it's not going to be It's not going to be an easy game as it was last season, definitely. Things seem to be fitting, things seem to be getting in place for you guys. um We, with our away form, not that great. We
Bournemouth's Playing Style and Future Aspirations
00:13:17
Speaker
did beat Ipswich last week, but it was also close finish and last 10 minutes we scored two goals.
00:13:25
Speaker
ah As I said, I'll try to stay positive, so I'll see this game as a draw. Looking at the last five games that these teams played, United won three, Bournemouth won one, and there was one draw. And looking at the recent form now that we've got with three wins, a draw and a loss, and United threw three wins and three losses, I think this game could potentially end in a draw. Now, it all depends on the day, the starting 11,
00:13:56
Speaker
um how players feel, as Daniel said, Gannacho might be back on the pitch. For me, he's one of the biggest threat and player players to watch, apart from Rashford, who, when he plays in the right position, he's doing what Rashford does. I'd like to say one-one, would be even happier with Neil-Neil, if Kepa could keep the clean sheet now.
00:14:27
Speaker
Regarding Kirk is right, you're not getting it.
00:14:32
Speaker
The guy will go to Liverpool, hopefully not in the winter. we We're going to try to keep all the players this winter, right? yeah Try to achieve that top half of the table. When you look at the table now and these two teams meeting, you would expect that Man United would be in the sixth and Bournemouth in the 13th position, right?
00:14:50
Speaker
which is now the other way and gives us a lot of hope, a lot of opportunity that we can actually do something. um I was last season at the game when Bournemouth played Man United in Vitality with 2-2, a stupid penalty that was given. Of course, Bruno turned it into a goal. And I think we should have won that game actually, 2-2. But yeah, we're not going to go back into the past like it's gone. We you know yeah we cannot change it. so Looking forward to the draw this weekend, that's all I'm going to say.
00:15:23
Speaker
You mentioned about um how you think you think things are turning you know with the manager in United's favour. Talk to me a bit about your own manager. I mean,
Manager Patience and Long-term Vision
00:15:32
Speaker
it's like Dan said, it is a bit of a shock of how well Bournemouth are doing and how they've been able to cope with with losing their key man up top. What's he kind of instilled in the players or the style of play? or oh you real ah and How has that all happened? I'm going to be honest, I haven't had a belief in him when he took over.
00:15:52
Speaker
Okay, yeah. The first seven games last season, we had two points from seven games. And the next game against Burnley, I saw this game as, if we lose, he's gone. And I couldn't go to watch that game. I do go and watch all the home games, but I couldn't watch that game. I was just, everything was too intense and I just couldn't. I've sold my ticket. And, no, honestly, i'm I'm very emotional guy. and When I love a club, I love a club. Yeah. And halftime one nil to Burnley. I turned off the telly. I couldn't watch the game anymore. Yeah. I'd say, I thought like, okay, we're going to lose the coach. Then he's going to become madness in the club. We're going to be relegated. And then we turn over to one and then we go on an unbeaten run for seven games, beating Man United three nil away as well. And I was like, okay, things are working. What did he do?
00:16:50
Speaker
He put bloody Ryan Christie instead of a winger. He put it as a central midfielder. The guy's having his best two seasons in his life. No. First thing. Second thing. High press. Bumut's never played high press. Look at them now. eight Yes, we are conceding goals, but we are scoring goals as well. yeah We are scoring even without Solanke. Evan Ilsen,
00:17:18
Speaker
He scored, I think, five goals so far, but he's won five penalties for us this season as well, which means that his working rate is great. yep He's got this aggression. He's got good attacking position, high, were high attacking working rate. um it's It's brilliant. um Obviously, defense. We've got Sennessey now who's injured and Reuzen, the 19-year-old who stepped in, scored in his first debut as well, scored a header, which was amazing.
00:17:53
Speaker
So there's a lot of potential in this team. I'm just really scared that we're going to lose some of the some of the good key players and and I will see boom it's, you know, going down towards the bottom of the table.
00:18:05
Speaker
Iraola will stay, his dream is to one day go back to Bilbao, his former club where he used to play all his career. um Hopefully he'll stay for another seven years. I don't mind. ah Yeah. And regarding the ground as well that you mentioned earlier, so we've got the plans approved to to extend the the seats to potential 18,000, but that's up and until 2027. Now this is good because it gives us time to enter the Europe and play some some of the European games, which if we beat you guys this weekend, I believe, is very possible. Absolutely. Yeah, really interesting. and um Just to see from from your perspective how he's kind of turned it around and probably need to... We've been very patient, Dan, with our managers over over the last 10 or so years. um But, I mean, at the minute, Amoram seems to be kind of ticking all the right boxes, saying all the right things. So thats just them let's just hope and hope and pray that he that he knows what he's talking about because I think we're or both big fans.
00:19:06
Speaker
Anyway, yeah, good stuff. So let's let's take another break here and then we'll be back with the the classic crossover um segment where we have to pick a combined 11 using both teams. And yeah, I'm sure this will be thisll be an interesting one. Ten for a moment.

Global Sports Podcast Network. Can't believe I'm saying this. It sounds like there's a no-win here, but Unana or Kepa? Do you know what? I'm gonna say Mark Travis. I'm gonna say Mark Travis because he the the games that he's had so far this season, he was brilliant. One of the games he was the man of the match. So Because it's an away game, I have a feeling that Travis might get a chance because he wasn't in the squads lately. So yeah, ah i'd go I'd go with Travis and go.
00:20:43
Speaker
Travis is like the third choice Irish keeper at the moment, Dan, just for context. Let him be, let him be. Actually, I think all our keepers are all second choice at the moment, but we've got apparently just the best second choice in the world in Kelleher. But yeah, Dan, who are you going with out of Oana and the former keepers?
00:21:04
Speaker
I feel like he's always he's made a few mistakes as a reason but I think this season he's been great. He's got the most cleanses this season. I think he's had a very good season. He needs to be tested again. I'll still go over that. I think he's had a pretty good season actually other than the recent mistakes he's made in the last few weeks.
00:21:21
Speaker
yeah Yeah, it's been the di been a few hilers, but he he has saved us in other matches as well. So, um I mean, I'm sorry, Victor, but Mark Travers just can't go in at the moment. That's all right. Over O'Nana, so we'll go we'll go with O'Nana for this one, ah for the keeper. and Obviously United are playing a bit of a different formation now at the moment, but um to make things a bit easier, we'll go with a 4-3-3, which I assume that's what we'll Bournemouth line out as.
00:21:49
Speaker
No, so we need to go 4-2-3-1 is our usual formation. Okay, grand. Yeah, so we can do something similar. That's fine. No problem. um The United team has been pretty hard to predict recently, Dan. Yeah. I mean, Amuram is obviously trying out to see who's actually going to play for him, who's going to run for him. But if you had to pick a right back, who are you going with? It's easy. Mazuri, the best right back in the Premier League right now, you see. He's spin he's been amazing.
00:22:16
Speaker
Yeah, he has been excellent. He's probably one of our, he probably is our best player this season um and the best signing at the moment by a mile. Hopefully Yarrow can kind of overtake that in the in the longer term, but um yeah, Victor from your side, who are you going with for for right back? Who are you putting forward? Well, it's, we haven't got, I mean,
00:22:36
Speaker
One of the right backs we've got is injured. He's undergone surgery nearly a month ago. Araho, the one from Barcelona that we signed and it's going to be back in March. um Smith, who is now playing with the experience, he's been in the club for 10 years. He's great. ah He does the job, but he's a bit slow. So when we play against the team who have got fast wingers, it's a bit tough. Smith is great, but he wouldn't be my choice now for this one. So it's a tough one between Dalo and Masrawi, but I have to say that Masrawi seems to be in a bit better form now. um So yeah, I'll i'll go with Masrawi.
00:23:21
Speaker
Sounds good. I think from our perspective, I mean, just for context, we've mentioned it so many times, but Dalo won our Player of the Season last year at the podcast for Man United. yeah Take what that from you will of of how how good or bad United were last year. That was our standout player. and But yeah, Mizrahi has been unbelievable. I think he's just um ah step a step ahead of of Dalo at the moment.
00:23:45
Speaker
Okay, ah left back, I think we've mentioned them a few times already in the podcast. I think this is a pretty easy one. We'll go with Kirk as any complaints there? No complaints there. Me Lushcake is baby. Lushcake is old. Soon to be an ID player, so we'll look forward to that. you wish If that happens, then well the the the first episode after, I'm
Player Performances and Analysis
00:24:13
Speaker
going to be recording naked. so You can see how confident I am, right? yeah I usually don't like being naked. so Yeah, hopefully Kirkis never leaves Bournemouth. Just for everyone' sake just for this yeah for the sake of everyone. We want more listeners, not less. Exactly. listen exactly Good stuff. don't Don't download the video for this, only only audio listeners.
00:24:36
Speaker
ah allowed. Anyway, these centre halves, Victor, I'm not going to lie, I don't know too much about them. Talk to me about them and if you'd pick them over the United centre backs at the moment. It's got to be Zabani. It's got to be Zabani. I'm not going to go for a minute. Yeah, but I don't think we were going to go for a minute. No, it's got to be Zabani. And I'll say Delicht just because of his experience and sort of how He needs to get a bit tougher. He needs more experience in the Premier League. He's great. He does the job, but there were a lot of mistakes against West Ham passing wise.
00:25:14
Speaker
His positioning is good. um He's tall, he's six foot four, but he's got a bit of strength that he needs to work on. And Zabani's has been brilliant for the second season already. we we We didn't even know who that guy was until he signed for Bournemouth and then suddenly boom. Like last season, he barely had any cards. um Brilliant, brilliant. So yeah, I'd say I've got for Zabani and the Licht at centre backs.
00:25:44
Speaker
Any complaints, Dan? No, not at all. I agree. Before Bournemouth had signed Zabani, I'd seen him as a wonderkid on FM. So when they did sign him, I wanted to see, I was interested to see what he was like. And yeah, like Vic said, he's been class, every time I've watched him, he's been classed. I like goes in as well. Like he said, he's still young, so he's still got a bit to go. Eventually, maybe we could get a Euro in there somewhere. But yeah, I think the Lick's been very solid this season. So I'll go Zabani and the Lick this season as well.
00:26:11
Speaker
Yeah, I think to look just really kind of grown into it a bit um was was a bit rash, I think at the start, maybe trying too hard, but now he's kind of really cemented his place and looks very comfortable. um Yeah, so and especially in that in that back three, whether it's the right of the three or in the middle, definitely looks comfortable. Good stuff. Okay, so let's go into the two deep lion players then. So, Dan, I'll go to you first. Who would you like to choose in those two positions?
00:26:40
Speaker
I'll probably go Kobe May and get a few more than half of it. I think he's use one of the sentiments for the next 10 years of England. I think he's great. I think every time I watch him play, he's always amazing. I think the last couple of weeks he struggled coming back from injury. I feel like he's a bit slow off the pace, especially with his high press and sometimes it kind of looks like, okay,
00:27:02
Speaker
is the six ways playing right now kind of suited for him or should he play a bit further up the pitch but again see ah he came on what in the 20th minute and he looked great he made a lot of tackles i'm always very um high on him for not being able to tackle too well and he didn't make quite a few tackles in in that city game i feel like playing next to somebody like yugata where so and know you know yugata is doing a lot of the running for him i think it works out and it works out show because his main attributes are more on the board, you know, his passing, his being able to dribble pathways. That's where you really see the best of Manu. So yeah, I'll say Manu as one of them. I'm not too, I'm not too sure about any of the other, Ian Hyatt, I'm not too sure about you guys saying Casimir right now. So I'll probably just, I'll probably say Ryan Christie as the other midfielder next to Manu. Copy with that Victor.
00:27:55
Speaker
Well, you see, I'd go for Kasemiro instead of Manu. um He hasn't played much in the last few games. I think he's played only one in the last four. And he's that i didnt not he's he's he's a CDM that we are sort of having now.
00:28:15
Speaker
ah in Bournemouth and that's Tyler Adams. Last few games Tyler Adams has been brilliant and I'd love to see him playing more but it's so difficult with Cook, with Christie already who who have much bigger and better bond playing together to put Adams in. Now Adams is a bit more defensive so he's the one when Bournemouth plays with the ball he's gonna drop back between those two centre backs and just get the ball and take everything out.

um I think Kasjemiro for me, if you go for a CDM, um that would be my choice. um Obviously, Christi is more central, central midfielder rather than central defensive, because he's he's a box-to-box type player. um Same as Luis Cook, um and ah looking both of them, Cook is a bit more defensive, while around Christi is the one that that's going to get all the way to the box and and sort of maybe try to finish, because we don't get to see many shots from Cook anyway. ah
00:29:14
Speaker
is he's he And he's an all-round player. He can play centre-back, right-back, left-back, central midfielder, central defensive midfielder. And i think I think Cook is a bit underrated. People don't talk to about him that much. And I'm surprised that he still hasn't been summoned to play for for England because he's such a great player. Such a great player.
00:29:35
Speaker
um yeah Yeah, so Kasimiro would be my choice for um for that CDM. And then did you say you want to go with 4-3-3, so two more midfielders, right? Yeah, we'll go with, them I think it's interesting that you went with Kasimiro and Christi. I think both you went for Christi, so well we'll put him in. um I think then Manu and Christi might be a bit imbalanced if both neith of them kind of want to sit that deep. So we'll put in Kasimiro with Christi. Yeah, and then we'll go with the the center attack in mid.
00:30:06
Speaker
um Dan? Bruno? Yeah, it would have to be Bruno. I would like to give a shout out to Alex Scott. I'm a big fan of Alex Scott. I watched him at Bristol, we but both when Anton and him played at Bristol. I'm a very big fan of him. I feel like, you know, eventually he's going to get that chance at Bournemouth. I think he's a class player and he's going to show it for Bournemouth, but yeah, I'm going to go with Bruno Fernandez in the 10.
00:30:31
Speaker
Fair. Similar vector? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's got to be Bruno. it's Just for the penalties. No, Clive, I don't know, he's on and off. Clive has a really great game and then the next game he's nowhere. So he hasn't got that consistency.
00:30:48
Speaker
and Yeah, so yeah, Bruno. Fair. Okay, interesting one now. So we have the front three. um Loads of options. ah Victor, I'll go with you first out of a matter of interest. So I want your your' striker and then your're your left and right winger.
00:31:11
Speaker
Not easy. It's not easy. It's not easy. You've got Hoyland. You've got ZXA. We've got Evanelson. I haven't watched much how strikers of Man United played and playing was their working rate and um if you look at at let's say the height the shot so the finish and everything I'll probably go for Heuland because he seems to be the most complete attacker out of all three that I mentioned
00:31:50
Speaker
but then knowing how Vanelsen plays and how much he gives on the pitch, I'll go for a Vanelsen. So it's a really tough choice. I'll have to put Hoyland slash a Vanelsen on the striker and then maybe ah one of you can, you know, decide. um And then as for the wingers, I think Diallo has been pretty good lately. And I think Diallo has to be in the starting 11. And again, with Gannacho maybe being back on the pitch, it's either going to be Gannacho or Semenya.
00:32:22
Speaker
Got it. Nice. Dan? Yeah, I agree. I probably have Boylan on top, Ahmed on the right. And like I said, I want to score some energy. He's the best footballer I've ever watched in my life, so I'll put some energy on the left.
00:32:36
Speaker
Yeah, but Semenya plays better on the right wing, just to let you know. Yeah, he does, he does. I would say that, obviously, you've got, what's his name? Dango Taro, that plays on the left usually. Yeah, but obviously, for the team, I'll put Semenya on the left and Amad on the right. Okay, take one for the team. Yeah, for the green lines with Kirk is on the left side there. Yeah, no, good stuff. I think I would agree. I think Highland has really come into his own over the past few weeks.
Final Thoughts and Game Predictions
00:33:03
Speaker
He always had it, but just, you know, he's actually getting engaged more in the team, which is nice because we're playing higher up the pitch, have more of the ball. So I think you'll only get better. And yeah, totally agree with, with Ahmad and Semenya. So yeah, that rounds it off.
00:33:17
Speaker
um Final score predictions. Victor, after 20 minutes later, are you still going with a 1-1, but hopefully a 0-0, so Kefi can keep a clean sheet? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll go with the draw.
00:33:30
Speaker
ahll go with the draw Dan, what do you reckon? What's going to happen? I think it'll be a good game. I think there'll be a lot of shots. It'll be quite exciting. I'll say 2-1. I think United could just, you know, get away with 2-1. I feel like off the bounce of, you know, the City game, I think maybe we'll be able to get 2-1. Just to let you know that against West Ham, Bournemouth had 20 shots, 26 shots, and we still drew, so bear in mind.
00:33:51
Speaker
And if we have tried to go, you're not going to score that easily. I'll leave my words. Yeah, exactly. um Yeah, I think it's all dependent on how we actually get on to get Spurs as well. It's so up and down. You don't know what's going to happen, who's going to be available, all that stuff. But ah yeah, brilliant guys. Thanks very much for joining. and Victor, thank you for making the the journey up to Manchester for the recording. And Dan, thanks for hopping on as well. No problem. Thanks for having us.
