Light-hearted Banter and Nutty Conversations

00:00:25
Speaker
Hello! How are you? Oh, I'm just hanging in there lady, lady. How are you? It's hot.
00:00:39
Speaker
Are you? Is it hot as balls? It's hotter than balls. Hotter than balls. Hotter than balls. I'm afraid. your balls.
00:00:51
Speaker
a
00:00:55
Speaker
What are you afraid of? Of balls. I'm afraid of it being hotter than moles.
00:01:08
Speaker
Oh my god. what What is the bad news? Oh, but you that you have reason to fear half the countries or half the world's population. Yeah.
00:01:20
Speaker
I know you don't like nuts, Molly, but these things are amazing. No, they're not.
00:01:26
Speaker
Espresso flavored hazelnuts and cocoa flavored cashews. and oh my god Think about the words that you just said. oh my god I know you don't like nuts, but these are amazing. you expect me to disagree with you?
00:01:38
Speaker
Balls. Nuts. Nuts.
00:01:44
Speaker
Why do we spend half of this podcast giggling about balls? Oh my god. Anyway. They're like candy. They're so good.
00:01:58
Speaker
Christina. Yes, ma'am. What are we talking about?

Whimsical Abundance and Dancing Dumplings

00:02:01
Speaker
Abundance. Like mushroom dance. Mushroom dance. Whatever could it mean? Abundance. Abundance.
00:02:17
Speaker
Oh my god. Abundance. A little Chinese dumpling bun thing. Dancing. I picture like a roll, like a bun, but like like a like a roll with a little tutu.
00:02:37
Speaker
I love us. Me too. We're cute. Oh, man. Yeah, we're talking about abundance. And i have a question for you.

Dream Cars and Financial Decisions

00:02:49
Speaker
Yes. yeah And the question is actually probably for both of us, but whatever. My question is, what was your dream car when you were a teenager?
00:03:01
Speaker
And when you end up with fuck you money, would you still buy it? I don't know. i don't remember having a dream car as a teenager, like at all. Or any. Okay. So zoom out then. Anytime you've had a dream car, like a car that you wish that you could afford.
00:03:22
Speaker
I never really wanted one super expensive. I don't know. um Like, okay. Okay. Maybe. it doesn't It doesn't even have to be super expensive. Just dream car could be anything. Yeah.
00:03:35
Speaker
So for a long time, i was really, really in I really, her and was really into the Chrysler 300. Okay. i can't even picture that, but I'm going to look it up.
00:03:46
Speaker
Yeah. Okay. Okay. Oh, so there's a 2003 one. I can see a 2023 one. Oh, that's what I meant. 2023. What the fuck did I say? 2003? My was like, um that's old.
00:04:00
Speaker
I think they were. ah um I think they made them around. this books This looks expensive. This looks like a Bentley almost. Yeah, that's what I liked because it had an expensive look to it.
00:04:14
Speaker
Yeah. my ah My grandmother gave my mom one back when she was getting rid of it to get like another car or something like that. She like gave it to my mom.
00:04:27
Speaker
And you know how like my mom and her husband have they're kind of problematic. Yes. um She had that vehicle that was completely paid for and Tom had his own vehicle that was completely paid for.
00:04:41
Speaker
who and neither of them were very high mileage like the the 300 was probably less than 60,000 miles around the time that my grandmother was moving out of her house to go into that retirement home where you met her yeah

Personal Financial Struggles and Mindset Shifts

00:05:00
Speaker
um they turned in like they traded in their vehicles or tom no tom so sold his to his grandson for like ah i don't know really cheap or something, but but they traded in my mom's 300 and they ended up leasing like a Dodge SUV of some sort.
00:05:21
Speaker
They didn't have car payments, Molly, and their cars were perfectly fine. They got rid of them so they could start having an expensive car payment that they could not afford.
00:05:33
Speaker
God, they are so stupid. Don't ask me why they would ever do something like that. It's not like they drove lot. won't because there's no reason to. Exactly. That's fucking stupid. They don't drive that far anywhere.
00:05:45
Speaker
They don't go very many places. Right. They don't, they didn't need a new vehicle for any reason. It's just the dumbest shit ever. And it made me so mad. It made John mad. It made like everybody mad. It was just like, what the hell are you thinking?
00:06:00
Speaker
Yeah. So anyhow. Yeah. um But yeah, the 300 she had was like an older style. That wasn't the cooler version. but still yeah i like that style of vehicle but i prefer now nowadays ah you know it needs to be more of like an suv because i mean granted my car right now is small and it's hard to get in and out of but like any car like level vehicle i'm not super excited about anymore like my favorite size
00:06:37
Speaker
or height for a vehicle was my Ford Flex. It was super easy to get in and out of. It was a perfect... Yeah. You know, you didn't have to like step up to get in or squat down to get in, you know, you' like you just yeah put your butt on against the seat and slid right in. It was like, so perfect. And like the, you got out the same way you turn your body out and you were standing up with no problem. Like it was just awesome. um So I love the Ford flex.
00:07:04
Speaker
I wish they would still make it. um But if I was going to get something now in money was no object, it would be like the Ford Expedition o because they don't make the flex obviously, but like that, or there's the Chevy, like, is it the Tahoe or, um Cadillac Escalade, you know, like those.
00:07:30
Speaker
Yeah. i know Yeah. Like those bigger vehicles, but I think it would probably end up being more like the Ford. Um, what the hell did I just call it?
00:07:39
Speaker
Not the Escalade, but the, um, um excellent Expedition. Yeah. Expedition. Sorry. I'm getting all the names mixed up in my head now. Yeah. They're all too similar. Yeah.
00:07:52
Speaker
I don't know. So like I literally like for no reason at all, I was looking at cars the other night and then randomly remembered that I did have a dream car when I was the, when I was in high school and As I was thinking about it, i was like, God, if there was ever any indication that I was a fucking Aries rising as a teenager, it was that I wanted so badly ah fucking Mustang convertible.
00:08:23
Speaker
Mustang convertible, though. That's hilarious. I wanted one so bad. oh my God. and I'm even oh i was even pissed because I found one on Craigslist for like three thousand dollars.
00:08:36
Speaker
that wasn't like too It wasn't too old for it being 2008 or whatever. it was like five years old. And it was a beautiful like gray color with black leather interior. And it was like a dark gray. It was gunmetal gray. Nice.
00:08:52
Speaker
And it was a fucking convertible. Nice. And it was only like $3,000. And I was just like, ah! ah But my mother was like,
00:09:03
Speaker
the insurance companies will literally not insure a 16 year old driving that car. Yeah.
00:09:10
Speaker
Yeah. It would have been perfect though. But I was thinking about it and I was like, damn, like I'd love to, ah I'd love to have one just for fucking funsies. Awesome.
00:09:25
Speaker
Like I'd, I'd, I'd want like an SUV for like practical, you know, reasons, yeah, but the fun car that I would want would be a fucking Mustang.
00:09:39
Speaker
I just never, I mean, I love that, but, uh, and I think I probably liked Mustangs back in the day as well. Like, but not they're like sexy. I didn't necessarily want to, I don't know.
00:09:51
Speaker
I'm not saying you have to agree oh i know that i know you need to own one. I'm just thinking in terms of like sports cars and shit like that too. Like, I don't know. For having never been a car person, yeah I just loved the look of a Mustang and I wanted one.
00:10:06
Speaker
And so it just got me thinking. I was like, man, if I got fuck you money, I would want a fucking Mustang. Like a new one? and don't even know if they, do they come new?
00:10:17
Speaker
Yeah. They still make them. they still make them? Okay. Mm-hmm. As far as I'm aware. new reasonably priced one. you know Yeah, dude.
00:10:29
Speaker
But like, yeah. like no Dangerous as hell, but also what isn't dangerous in our day and age? In this hellscape that we live in.
00:10:42
Speaker
Right? You're so funny. so Oh yeah, I think you would really like a new Ford Mustang. Yeah.

Revisiting Dream Cars and Debt Reflections

00:10:50
Speaker
You think i would? Yeah. Okay. I'm gonna... I don't know why I didn't look it up when I thought of it, but Ford Mustang 2025.
00:11:00
Speaker
Yeah. yeah
00:11:05
Speaker
Oh, yeah, baby. I'm looking at one that's got a rounded-ish front end and one that's got a really squared off, like, looking. Yeah. I see so many of them with, like, the fucking tail wings, and I don't want that shit. Right.
00:11:20
Speaker
That shit's stupid. Well, they they they do serve a purpose, though. I don't care. i don't want one. They look stupid. My second choice, too, which came around later in life when I was not a teenager anymore, but I was like 20-ish, was Mercedes-Benz.
00:11:42
Speaker
hu um And I think I've talked to you about that before. Yeah, Mercedes are pretty cool. I got to... I got to drive one one day in 2012. One evening.
00:11:55
Speaker
was a friend of mine whose dad had one and it was before he had his own car to drive. So he took his dad's car and we went out somewhere and he was like, do you want to drive it And I was like, yes, I do want to drive it Fucking you bet your fucking ass. I do.
00:12:18
Speaker
and how was it for a drive yeah how was it it was like fucking it was like driving a spaceship it was great it was so beautiful it was like and i don't know if it was just that it was a brand new mercedes but or brand new car in general but like there was no road noise and yeah like it just felt so sleek and it handled so smooth and i was like
00:12:46
Speaker
oh Oh, my God. I got a funny story about a Corvette. who My ex, who shall remain nameless, that was the bad the bad guy, the bad man. The bad one. The bad one that I was with for way too long.
00:13:03
Speaker
right His dad got a Corvette. And we were all hanging out. Like, I mean, I did not go to his family's house very often. I think I might've went like less than three times to his family in the whole like eight years that we dated.
00:13:19
Speaker
um But we did, we were over there one day and he allowed the boyfriend, my, you know, his son to your boyfriend. Yeah.
00:13:31
Speaker
Take the car out. And there was another guy and I don't remember who the other guy was. Maybe it was, maybe it was his brother probably was his brother and me and we all got in the corvette and took it for a little spin around the neighborhood but his dad had told him not to let me drive it like don't don't let you know just you two no not anybody else or whatever and it just made me feel like is it because i'm a woman
00:14:01
Speaker
I mean, it wouldn't surprise me i think they were all very chauvinist. And you were, you were a professional driver driver at this point. Yes, I was. Yeah. i So yeah, that was interesting for, so yeah, i had been driving, um bus for at least 10 years at that point, you know, or around 10 years.
00:14:22
Speaker
Yeah. And you've been driving for, you know, a while before that, just in general anyway. Yeah. Yeah. And it's not like it had a stick or whatever. So like I could, write I could, you know, technically.
00:14:36
Speaker
So yeah, as we were out driving in the neighborhood, whichever one, I don't remember who said it, they suggested like, you know, they would let me drive like just not back to the house, obviously.
00:14:47
Speaker
So they pulled over and they let me drive it so for like i wast a couple minutes. It was pretty cool. you know Corvettes have a lot of power. Yeah. i That's one of the things that would freak me out about those cars.
00:15:01
Speaker
And like a Mustang is probably no different. I don't think. I mean, it's it's not it's not on the level of a Corvette for sure. But like i it's it's got the similar. It's certainly got more power than a CRV.
00:15:16
Speaker
Probably.
00:15:19
Speaker
But like, I think I would get used to it, you know. um But yeah, I was going to say. ah That I realized recently that I reached the point in my life where I have now, I am now over the hump of having my license for longer time than not having a license.
00:15:43
Speaker
Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You got it at 16, right? I was 16. It was late in my 16th year. Oh, it was, um, it was like,
00:15:56
Speaker
eight or nine months after I turned 16. What reason for that? Because Virginia has weird timings on their laws for people, kids passing tests and stuff.
00:16:08
Speaker
Like i took, it took me, okay hold on. Okay. So to get your permit, you have to pass a DMV test. And if you fail ah DMV test, you have to wait like three months before you can try to take it again.
00:16:29
Speaker
Which is bullshit. I failed twice. Oh. I took the test as early as I, you know, as early as I could. I was preparing for it. I had taken driver's ed at school and I had been preparing for it and I failed the test like as, you know, on the first day that I had the option to take it.
00:16:49
Speaker
I had to wait three months. I failed it again. i had to wait another three months. And then I finally passed it. But then there was like a certain period of time that I was required to have my permit in addition to getting us like a certain number of logged hours for driving. Right.
00:17:12
Speaker
And so because it was, and I think the earliest I could get my permit was 15 and a half. So I didn't even get my permit until like right before I turned 16, something in that vicinity.
00:17:23
Speaker
And then, Yeah, and then I had to have my permit for a certain period of time before I could even apply

Epiphanies on Financial Security and Astrology

00:17:30
Speaker
or like you know go get the
00:17:35
Speaker
I got it later than most of my friends. Yeah. um But like only by a few months. But that's a long time for a teenager. Yeah. For sure. i have ah I have dreams a lot of times about my car, my old cars.
00:17:49
Speaker
It's very weird. Yeah. the The kind of dreams are like somehow I find and ah key like an old key. Yeah. You know, and then I'm like, then I end up finding like the car somewhere and going like, oh, my God, I wonder if it's going to still run or, you know, if it still yeah works or, you know, whatever.
00:18:08
Speaker
and then sometimes it's because like I find it like on my property, like it was there all along, but I forgot about it or was like. yeah it was like somebody else had it and i was gonna get it back from them or you know it's like always some weird like a discovery thing like and then there's like yeah all this um reminiscence kind of like nostalgia feelings you know when you get in it and you're like oh my looks the same and you know and then or sometimes it's like it looks older but it still runs and you're like yes I'm gonna have this car back and I'm gonna drive it everywhere now and you know just stuff like that yeah like my one the car that I got when I graduated from high school my grandmother bought me was a 1993 and it had three names I swear to god everyone thought I was crazy but it did it had three names it was a
00:19:08
Speaker
Plymouth Sundance Duster. Okay. So some people would be like, oh, no, it was just a du that it was just a duster. and It was like, no no, it literally had three names. I don't i don't know why.
00:19:21
Speaker
yeah i don't know why, but it was like a Sundance Duster. And I think the Duster was like, you know, specific, the options that you could get on it were a little bit different.
00:19:32
Speaker
Like the little tail fin thing that you don't like, you know, or whatever. That came on that. And I think that was what one of the things that made it a duster or something dumb like that. But anyway, yeah that vehicle shows up in my dreams a lot.
00:19:46
Speaker
um And, like, I think I could really kick myself for when I got rid of it. Like, I really should have not gotten rid of it. um But I was dumb and, like, didn't know any better.
00:19:58
Speaker
So i got 93. I got rid of it in And it was like, it just needed a couple things done to it, like kind of minor maintenance things, but it freaked me out. And I was like, I don't want to deal with this.
00:20:13
Speaker
So I traded it in and started leasing vehicles in 1999. And that was just like a humongous mistake because I've had car payments for so long ever since then. Until now. now.
00:20:29
Speaker
Yeah, January 19th was the last car payment I ever made. Hell yeah. anyhow you Anyway. We gotta talk about abundance. Yeah, abundance, man. And that's a good way to talk about abundance is not having a car payment. Hell yeah.
00:20:44
Speaker
hell yeah You want to know what else is an amazing abundance factor yeah right now? Yes. I finally got the check for my car insurance for that accident in January.
00:20:55
Speaker
my god. Two days. It came today.

Manifestation, Abundance, and Mindset Changes

00:21:00
Speaker
It came. For the lost wages? Yes. Fuck yeah. Yes. Abundance.
00:21:07
Speaker
Yes. Yes, ma'am. I'm thinking. Because I didn't and didn't take notes. um You didn't prepare anything. I i didn't prepare. But I just thought of it and I was like, you know what? like
00:21:21
Speaker
it's interesting like It's so interesting the way people think about wealth and money. Mm-hmm. And how it can be our biggest like ball and chain, but also but thing that like sets us free.
00:21:37
Speaker
Yeah. And it's like, how can it possibly have such polarizing power? hu You know? yeah Abundance doesn't always have to mean money though.
00:21:50
Speaker
It doesn't. And that's the thing too, is like to call in more, and because of course we always tie this shit back to manifestation but to call in more you need to feel like you have a lot and the constant question going around and around in my mind is has always been like how do i make myself feel like I have something that I don't especially when it's something that so deeply impacts how my day to day life goes yeah and like
00:22:26
Speaker
it's such a weird brain thing when there's like this perspective shift that happens internally where it's like, it's, I am almost picturing, you know, the like effect in a movie where, you know, the camera is zooming in on a particular object or person,
00:22:49
Speaker
but on like the background looks like it's zooming out. Yes. I learned about that in my movie class when I had the film as art. Hell yeah. There is a word for that. And I know I learned how to do it.
00:23:05
Speaker
Okay. Which is really weird. Like you can do it with your phone. Okay. You focus on an object and then use zoom out as you move the phone closer.
00:23:21
Speaker
Okay. And it creates, it creates that. And it has a name. There's a name for that effect. And I can't think of what it is right now. Yeah. i'm I'm sure that I've heard what it's called before, but it's that kind of feeling when I try to think of and describe what is happening or how, how this like mindset has shifted around like abundance money, wealth, prosperity, etc.
00:23:53
Speaker
Like that's the closest I can come to what it feels like. Yeah. Because it's like nothing has like objectively changed about my financial situation.
00:24:08
Speaker
And yet somehow like everything has just turned on its head. hu Where like I am no longer anxious because I know what I have and I know that I'm not hemorrhaging money all the time. Cause I think that's a, that's a big part of where my anxiety would come from was just feeling like I was hemorrhaging money left and right without even realizing it because of my ADHD. Yeah. and like, so coming to the understanding of like, no, that's not happening no matter how much you feel like it or have always felt like it is. And B like,
00:24:47
Speaker
remembering all the things I already have where in previous circumstances, I would feel like I would need to go out and get stuff to like, whether it's to like make a meal or to finish a project or kill five hours on the weekend, entertaining myself, like money doesn't need to be spent.
00:25:11
Speaker
And somehow like my brain just did that inversion flip thing where I'm like oh no I'm fine and I can exist day to day feeling like I have everything I need I have more than enough in some cases and nothing has actually changed about my income or my expenses that's all staying the same, but I just feel so differently about it. And, and I wish, Oh God, I wish that I could just come up with a step-by-step how to, of like how to achieve this feeling.
00:25:54
Speaker
Because I have spent so much of my life being like trying to figure out and make gratitude lists and try to like, remember, like, I do have this, I do have that. Like, I don't need to worry. I don't need to, you know, get other things.
00:26:07
Speaker
And it never, clicked until like two weeks ago. Really? Or like a week and a half ago or something like that. i don't know. Until Saturn went into Aries.
00:26:19
Speaker
Motherfucker.
00:26:22
Speaker
Astrology is real, bitch. Wow, dude. Oh my god So I gotta ask you a question. Did that flip after your last bill paying session where you had the anxiety issue?

Financial Management and Mindset Evolution

00:26:41
Speaker
After it, yes, because it still happened that way. I feel like I was in the midst of like and like a transformation over that like week or weekend.
00:26:53
Speaker
Okay. Where because that wasn't this past weekend. That was like two weekends ago, right? Yeah. I had to like, yeah, I had to like work my way through paying all of those bills.
00:27:08
Speaker
But then I and like knew where I stood until my next paycheck and you know having the mortgage expense that was going to be due before the next paycheck like accounting for that i was like okay i know where i stand and i am just going to take things day by day so that i don't lose track again and
00:27:39
Speaker
overdraft or overextend or whatever but this time taking things day by day actually like worked like something something changed huh and i've had anxiety every time i go to pay bills right so there was nothing different about that particular time other than soothing myself through it but like
00:28:07
Speaker
maybe the difference was that this time around i was soothing myself and I was like being present while I confronted the fear rather than just being like, Oh my God, I'm so relieved. I made it. Okay. Now I don't have to think about it for another two weeks, you know? Yeah.
00:28:24
Speaker
Cause I wasn't even conscious that I was doing that, but that's exactly what I was doing was just being avoidant. Yeah. But like to confront that,
00:28:35
Speaker
fear and anxiety i can't say that that's the key to it to how you know your mindset can shift finally yeah but it's the one thing that was different ah huh so maybe that was it and like maybe this is how you don't have to be making you know ah million dollars a year to feel safe and secure and call in that like more of that feeling right you know yeah that you can have objectively very little and feel safe and secure and call in more of what you're feeling yep and maybe someday i'll have fuck you money and i'll get my mustang dude definitely
00:29:31
Speaker
so So you had that mind shift just in the last week and a half or so. Mm-hmm. What was happening when you noticed that that was shifting for you? You mean like Saturn entering Aries? No, no. Like what what were you doing or what were you in the middle of doing or thinking or, you know, whatever? Like what was happening for you personally, like when you were noticing that shift was occurring? Well, just living my day-to-day life. Okay. Okay.
00:30:02
Speaker
like it Like, I wasn't technically doing anything differently. It just occurred to you one day while you were doing whatever? I can't even say that it occurred to me. Like, I was taking things one day at a time, but I was able to, like, not be in a panic or not be, like, feeling like I needed more than I have while living my life. Gotcha.
00:30:26
Speaker
So, like, I can't even... Like, it's been... i don't I can't pinpoint it exact moment when I noticed it was different. it just It just was.
00:30:38
Speaker
Cool. And so that's why I'm like, okay, well, first of all, Saturn and fucking Aries. But then the the one thing that was different was like staying present through my anxiety of bill paying.
00:30:53
Speaker
But it didn't feel better that day. huh You know? I just... had to like tell myself take things one day at a time like pay closer attention and don't just like guess and hope right at like what your balances are right so that that's the only difference and that has to be what made the difference or at least you know factored into it right It's kind of weird.
00:31:20
Speaker
My experience with paying money and paying bills, I mean, is like because i I've been in the spots where things were really, really tight and I'd skipped payments on things and I'd gotten worse in debt because of that. And I'd gotten in trouble with my credit card companies because I was, you know, skipping. And I realized the more that I put it off or avoided it, the worse things got and the worse my anxiety got.
00:31:48
Speaker
So I finally was just like, I just have to fucking call and try to set up a payment plan for this thing. And then I just like, I just started there. And so I just started making payments on stuff like little bit here and there when I could do it, you know, like, or if I said to them, like, I can just pay you like $10 a month, like for now, you know what I mean? That was like, yeah, all I could do. And I just did it. And then slowly started climbing out of that hole.
00:32:14
Speaker
But then, when i I mean, I've always had debt, like credit card debt, you know? But yeah like once I finally got to where things were manageable and like on the days that I would get paid, I would be like excited to log into my bank account and look at my pay, you know, money sitting there and then like go through and start paying every bill that was due in the next two weeks.
00:32:39
Speaker
Yeah. You know, and like, I would just do two week things at a time because I have paid every two weeks and it made me feel good to sit there and just like pay the bills. Like, and then know, as soon as I paid all those bills, the balance would update and be like, like you have, you know, this much available left.
00:32:58
Speaker
So I would have, and and then you, and then you don't have anything due for another month, two weeks, you know, at least two weeks. I mean, like, you know, depending on, well, most bills are monthly, but like, right. But I'd pay like the ones that were due in the next two weeks first, like during that period.
00:33:14
Speaker
And then when I got paid two weeks from then, I would pay the next set of bills that would be due during that two weeks. Yeah. So my, my plan, like what I, what I determined to do also was after my next paycheck was to, even though,
00:33:32
Speaker
almost all of my bills won't be due until the second paycheck of June. And I could put it off until then. Like i was like, next time I get like paid, I'll go in and pay all that shit early.
00:33:46
Speaker
And then I don't have to worry about it until, I mean, technically I don't have to worry about it until the end of July, hu but I'll probably try to keep up that habit of like first paycheck of the month, pay all the bills that,
00:34:00
Speaker
you know, aren't even due until like the last week of the month. Yeah. yeah The one thing that got me in trouble though, and this is what's weird when I automated and set up like, like I set up certain bills to get paid um every four weeks instead of like on the same day every month.
00:34:18
Speaker
and So like every four weeks, like and you know every other pay, you know what I'm saying? Like, so yeah like, let me just put it like, I'll give you a... No, I know what you mean. okay I know what you're talking about. Sears is always due on the 8th every month by Sears credit card bill.
00:34:33
Speaker
Yes. And I would get paid, say like on the 2nd. yeah And I would pay the Sears. It was set up to like automatically pay and it wouldn't get there by the eighth.
00:34:45
Speaker
No problem. So after two or three or four months, because the date of your pay changes and starts coming a slight, slightly bit earlier, every, every week, every month, if you will.
00:34:59
Speaker
Yeah. The date changes. So like, cause there's 30 days in a month that what, what, what ended up happening is the bill would get paid too early because And it would still be in the previous billing cycle. So then it wouldn't count for the one that I was trying to pay.
00:35:18
Speaker
i paid two payments in one billing cycle and then the next month got skipped accidentally. And then I'd missed the payment because of that. So I would have to go in and readjust it, skip a pay period.
00:35:31
Speaker
I would be like, all right, let's skip, you know, like, or I'm going to pay it and get caught up now, but then next time I can skip. Like, you know what i mean? So I ended up making an extra payment when I didn't want to.
00:35:42
Speaker
But like, yeah, that's what sucks about that is you got to pay attention to your billing cycle and make sure that you don't pay it too early or else it won't count. Yeah. See, I have never and I currently don't have any interest in setting up automatic payments.
00:35:59
Speaker
Except for the one on my loan. oh The one on my loan that goes into a bank account that I don't touch. Yeah. It comes out of a bank account. automatically. Right.
00:36:10
Speaker
That money doesn't exist. Right. Right. That's what I'm doing is I'm pretending that money doesn't exist. Right. um But like, otherwise, like I do not set up automatic payments.
00:36:23
Speaker
and that's That's totally fine. I found for me, i would get my bills paid on time more regularly if I did that. So I wouldn't have to try to remember. If I can get enough ahead Like, I guess I do have automatic, my my car insurance company, that payment comes out automatically, but I think I had to be set up that way.
00:36:44
Speaker
And that's like on the, somewhere between the first and third of every month. Yeah. And my internet comes out automatically. if it has a specific date every month that comes out, they do then that's fine.
00:36:56
Speaker
Yes, that's, they do. That's what I mean. Like it's, it's fine. But otherwise, like I've never set up automatic payments for credit card bills for my gas and electric like because i'm just like i just can't ever be because of how precarious my financial situation has always been was like i can't ever be 100 sure that on the exact day that everything's gonna get charged i'll have exactly enough right and so maybe if i can get ahead after enough time and i'm gonna consider
00:37:35
Speaker
making the payments manually on the first paycheck of the month as getting ahead rather than waiting and hoping and crossing my fingers yeah and screwing myself um then I might get okay with automatic payments but like we'll see but for now like I'm not pushing my luck with this mindset shift that is happening right because I'm like i
00:38:07
Speaker
I can never be too certain that something like this is a permanent change. You know? Like, it makes me wonder sometimes if i if what I experience when I feel things like this

Plant Medicine and Personal Growth

00:38:20
Speaker
is just mania.
00:38:23
Speaker
You know? Well, think about what's happening at the same time right now. Not just the planetary shit, but the plant medicine shit. There is that too.
00:38:35
Speaker
So like that is probably contributing to your ability to see things a slight bit different. Yeah. You're making a good point. Thank you. I forgot. Happy ADHD. So when you're doing that plant medicine stuff and.
00:38:52
Speaker
you know, you're seeing a shift in how you think about things. Um, I think a lot of times you could contribute it to that actually, because that was literally what made me feel like, I think I can handle going back to school after like telling myself never again, i fucking hate school. It sucks.
00:39:10
Speaker
It's too you know stressful. It's blah, blah, blah. Why would I ever want to put myself through that? And then I did it, you know? Yeah. yeah So yeah, the plant medicine makes a big difference in a lot of things, I think. But yeah, and especially when you like, actually do the heavy lifting of like facing a fear.
00:39:32
Speaker
And like working yourself through it. Yeah. Because that's heavy lifting for sure. Yep. And you're rewired parts of your brain that day. That's true. Because, you know, the the medicine was there doing the physical work of, like, creating the wires.
00:39:48
Speaker
And then you were, like, the one filling in the information into the new wires, you know? Yeah. so Like a little computer. Yeah.
00:40:00
Speaker
God, brains are so weird. but like But, like, fuck yeah. Keep it up. You know? Keep it up. Fuck yeah.
00:40:11
Speaker
Keep it up. So it is now time to fantasize and manifest. Fuck you money.
00:40:23
Speaker
I'm there for it man. yeah And this is a judgment free zone. This is a absolutely let your imagination go wild.
00:40:36
Speaker
what do you want with your What do you want to do with your fucking money?
00:40:42
Speaker
Oh my goodness. um Plan the perfect vacation. Which has yet to be designed because I've never sat and tried to think about what my perfect vacation would be like.
00:40:56
Speaker
Well, this is the great place to start. That. So... Definitely want to do the whole European thing, you know?
00:41:08
Speaker
The whole British... Whatchamacallit? British Isles? Like, yeah, but like... UK.
00:41:23
Speaker
so I was trying to think of the fucking wording. The United Kingdom. the bri the Great Britain... not the great british baking show no that's your favorite that would be your like i wasn't talking about that but like great britain or the uk or the british isles would pick one okay england scotland and ireland and wales and like whatever like all that yeah whatever that's called is it called the uk i don't know what the fuck it's called
00:41:56
Speaker
The British Isles. Okay. Because Ireland and Northern Ireland are separate. And Ireland is not in the UK. Northern Ireland is. Okay.
00:42:08
Speaker
So all of that. So if you want to all if you want to go to Dublin, that's in Ireland. If you want to go to Belfast, that's in Northern Ireland. Okay. Yes. Both.
00:42:19
Speaker
All of it. All of the above. All of the above. of the but Yeah. So the UK. And... Ireland. ah Yes. Okay, what else?
00:42:30
Speaker
and France, in Germany. ah Maybe Greece. Maybe Italy. I don't know. i want to go all those places. Maybe even Austria, Poland.
00:42:42
Speaker
Austria is pretty dope. Yeah. What else? Well, I like the whole idea of the Caribbean again, of course, like, you know, gone through there with ah on a ship a couple of times now.
00:42:54
Speaker
um but I'm so bad with freaking names dude I'm telling you island a particular island yeah St. Martin's St. Barts Cuba Dominican Republic Jamaica hold on a second Trinidad Tobago Aruba well I'd like to go to Aruba at some point the Cayman Islands well Yeah. Antigua and Barbuda.
00:43:28
Speaker
Montserrat. Guadalupe. Hold on, hold on. Martinique. St. Lucia. Grenada. The Turks. The Turks and Caicos. Turks and Caicos. Grand Turk.
00:43:40
Speaker
Grand Turk. Grand Turk. That was one of the ones we stopped on. And it's a kind of poor. It's like, you know, it's kind of got a poor...
00:43:51
Speaker
population um and like i think most of their food is just like brought in because they can't grow anything there because i think their soil is like real salty so nothing can grow but i think if i wasn't mistaken like oprah has a has a fucking mansion out there there's there's some like there are some celebrities who have mansions out there and Oh yeah, the for sure. i
00:44:23
Speaker
For sure. But i like I liked the atmosphere there. And i I mean, I wouldn't mind having a whole ass vacation on that island or something.
00:44:36
Speaker
Hell yeah. If there was a particular island that I wanted to pick for a vacation, it would in in the Caribbean specifically, it would be st Barts. why What for? What for?
00:44:49
Speaker
It's bougie.
00:44:52
Speaker
I've been there once. One time and I liked it a lot. It just had good vibes, man.

Exotic Pets, Dream Vacations, and Luxury Fantasies

00:45:00
Speaker
Sweet. But it had bougie vibes.
00:45:05
Speaker
Okay. So outside of vacation. Okay. If you could have and keep some sort of exotic pet. what would you want are you fucking kidding me and and and when i say exotic i i would classify horses as exotic because ah they're just expensive and i would i would put me down for horses i would want horses i don't need to ride them all the time to want them oh but it'd be fun to ride them i like i do like a horseback ride
00:45:41
Speaker
Alright, so I had to do a Google search for popular exotic pets. I have literally no idea. This is why we're doing this, is so that you can start to manifest your shit.
00:45:56
Speaker
The picture of the llama is the funniest picture ever. ah my god. Oh my god.
00:46:05
Speaker
But don't just pick like the most kooky one. Pick the one that you actually want. I've never heard of this thing. a spotted Gennet? Never heard of that. It's really cute as hell.
00:46:19
Speaker
It says, is it a cat? A monkey? No, it's just a spotted Gennet.
00:46:26
Speaker
but Sure, that really narrows it down. Yeah, right. i don't know what the hell it is. It looks like a cat, kind of. It's got a really long tail. um I cut out part of the tail.
00:46:38
Speaker
um they're related cats and ferrets they highly resemble cats however and love to scale things okay no sugar gliders are cool they showed a fox with big ears foxes are cool i think i'd be down with a fox maybe a little monkey but i don't know what kind just a little one though don't don't be one of those white women that raise not a big one like it and then they don't not like a violent no yeah i i like this little teeny like little dudes yeah like a like a marcel from friends yeah maybe or smaller if they if they come in smaller sizes
00:47:27
Speaker
oh my god i'd like the marcel mini please this is oh lord my oh i didn't tell you i saw a freaking coyote on the um side of the road recently not like on the road no no no we were driving when i had to do an extra route after my route um we were driving down I don't know.
00:47:52
Speaker
It doesn't matter. Just this road. It's like, you know, whatever. And there's like woods to the right. And there was a lot of traffic. So we were kind of sitting and I just looked to the right into the woods and there was a freaking coyote, like a few feet into the woods, just standing there, like looking out at the cars, basically.
00:48:14
Speaker
He was just standing there. And I was like, holy shit. ah we We were already empty. Like, you know, no more. yeah But I like pointed it out to the TA that was with me.
00:48:24
Speaker
And I was like, holy shit, there's a coyote. that's Just hanging out over there. I never seen a coyote in the wild like that around. i mean, I know they i know that they exist around these parks.
00:48:38
Speaker
um brand these But I never see them. Yeah. So that was really interesting. Yeah. I think I'd be down with like some birds.
00:48:51
Speaker
I wouldn't want to keep birds. I wouldn't want them in the house. Like I'd want like a menagerie. Like outside? An outdoor menagerie. Yeah. Or like I would want to keep them in like the greenhouse or something.
00:49:05
Speaker
But like not like big. Like I think that parrots are entertaining but I would not want one. Yeah. Like I find African gray parrots are so fascinating. Really?
00:49:19
Speaker
They're like, they're like the most intelligent bird. Really? Out there. um They're fascinating, but I think I'd be too, I'd, I'd be out of my depth with one of those.
00:49:34
Speaker
Interesting. so i think I'd want like some parakeets. I had, I had a parakeet when I was a little, little tween. Yeah, I think I might have as well, but I was way younger. i was like four or five.
00:49:47
Speaker
Oh, that's... Or wait, they weren't parakeets. Excuse me. i think they were called lovebirds. Oh. Have you ever heard of lovebirds? Oh, yeah. I've heard of them.
00:49:58
Speaker
I know them. These are cute. I just looked up lovebirds. They're cute. They're pretty. Yeah, I like the little ones. All right, moving on from pets.
00:50:10
Speaker
What sorts of rich people features do you want in your house? Oh my goodness. Do you want an elevator? do you want a pool? do you want a movie theater?
00:50:23
Speaker
Do you want mini golf course? No. A basketball court? I definitely want a hot tub. Ooh, fuck yeah. but like I want a pool hot tub. What do you call the ones that are like in-ground or like built in-ground hot tub they're not like the standalone ones that you know have yeah brought in and they plug like the kinds that are like it's built into the pool at a resort or something yeah in-ground hot tub yes in an in-ground pool um which i would like to have it look like it's in nature not like
00:51:03
Speaker
just a pool like with some you know what i was oh yeah i want it to look like there's like you know natural rocks and stones all around it and plants growing and shit like that i want it to be really yeah made nature nature scaped i wouldn't i wouldn't mind like a you know concrete and brick style pool but what i was just thinking was it'd be really cool to have like the indoor outdoor like feature but where the indoor part goes into the

Extreme Wealth Fantasies and Extravagant Plans

00:51:40
Speaker
greenhouse
00:51:41
Speaker
ah huh so like you go in and it's like jungle all around you um and then the outdoor portion would be heated yeah so we could even go swimming in the winter time yes but i would I would want a hot tub too I'd be very, very down with that. who do I just did a Google search for pool with natural landscape.
00:52:08
Speaker
And it does that disappoint. Cool. Yeah, there's a lot of really beautiful looking pools. Send me screenshots. Oh, yeah.
00:52:19
Speaker
I think I would want horses. So I would want a stable. And that would sort of imply that I would have to have like b land that I could like ride horses around on and as much as it's like it i always feel like this is tacky but at the same time like i think i wouldn't be upset at having fucking movie theater right not a full-size big one but like the small no but like like the like home theaters yeah yeah and i wouldn't even i don't think i would even want like the kind that um maybe i'd do like one couch or two couches
00:52:58
Speaker
But like rather than like the rows of like movie theater type seats that you see sometimes, I would want like love sacks. You know what love sacks are, right?
00:53:11
Speaker
Well, tell me what you are calling them. but you giant The giant beanbags. Okay. Those are love sacks. Okay. It's a brand called Love Sacks. Okay. Never heard of it.
00:53:25
Speaker
What did you think of it? I kind of pictured that, but I didn't know it was a brand for sure. Were you thinking it was balls? No. No. if No, I would want Love Sacks, particularly like the like fuzzy ones, the ones that have, that are like not fur because it's not real fur, but like, yeah you know, rather than like the suede ones. Okay. Okay.
00:53:50
Speaker
like fuzzy love sacks big ones and then like i guess love sack also does do couches okay and i think if they still do those i would want love sack couches in the movie theater room ah ah yeah what i don't know don't the stuff i'm looking at looks just like normal couches to me like love sack yeah Love sack.
00:54:23
Speaker
Love sack. What was the first thing? Bean bag? Bean bag, yeah. Okay. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:54:33
Speaker
I've seen these. Yeah, I think it's... They look... The love sack couches look very normal, but they are, like, so soft. Okay. And, like, squishy. And I know I've said it before, but, like, I'll say it again.
00:54:47
Speaker
and he future... fuck you money house that I have has to have at least one hidden spiral staircase. who Yeah.
00:54:57
Speaker
At least one. That would be cool. Yeah. I definitely want like hidden like secret rooms and secret passages and shit like that. Yes.
00:55:09
Speaker
Yes. have to have that kind of stuff. Yeah. 100%. one hundred percent And like when it comes to vacations, like I would, I would probably be treating vacations like a given.
00:55:27
Speaker
I'm not just going to do like a one big bang vacation to end all vacations, but to just be like, okay, well in the summertime i go to St. Bart's and then in the wintertime I go to Aspen. Right. Like, you know,
00:55:42
Speaker
um Even if I don't go to ski, because i would love i would love nothing more than just plan a whole vacation of, in the wintertime, going to a ski resort and just hanging out in the lodge.
00:55:56
Speaker
I want to eat the chili and sit in front of the fireplace with my woolen socks.
00:56:05
Speaker
And I don't want to go skiing. me neither.
00:56:11
Speaker
Anyway. Check this shit out. This thing is called an oversized bean bag sofa. And they have it on Wayfair. So what are where am I checking it out? Well, I'm going to show you right here.
00:56:24
Speaker
Oh, I've seen that. It's huge! Yeah, that's dope. $800 and some dollars. Wow. And that's chenille. That's like that fake velvety stuff, kind of.
00:56:37
Speaker
I don't know if I would like the feeling of that. Like velvet, I can deal with a little bit, but I don't think I could lay on it. No, it's better than velvet. It's slightly like softer. Okay. Well, we'll see. I had it but i had a chenille sweater once and it was very nice.
00:56:54
Speaker
Okay. Well, yeah. ah Anywho, we got to be done. Yeah, we got to wrap it up. This has been bun dance.

01:00:53
Speaker
Maybe a million.
01:00:57
Speaker
But no.
01:01:01

Give me some cocktails.
01:02:03
Speaker
Uh... What? I don't know. don't know cocktails. What? I don't know cocktails. What am I... What? ah Martini.
01:02:14
Speaker
ah What are you talking about? any wait! Any kind of mixed drink, give me some. Yeah. Okay, I thought you were... What the hell do you think I was talking about?
01:02:26
Speaker
I thought you were asking me a list of cocktails. Shit.
01:02:34
Speaker
I'm saying, like, I want to be doing that too, but give me some cocktails and I'll be sitting in front of the fire with the fucking cocktail. Oh my god. And my warm socks and shit. Whatever.
01:02:47
Speaker
such a idiot. No you're not. Shut up. Oh my god. Stop it. Fucking hell.
