March 29, 2025 Daily Reading- Read the Bible in 1 Year

Daily Bible Reading with Robin at In the Family Way Coaching (Audio only)

Today we will begin reading the section of Psalms entitled Songs of Joy.  We will read Psalm 8, Psalm 16, Psalm 19, and Psalm 24, all written by David. In Psalm 8 we will be reminded that God plans for children and babies to praise Him and that Jesus said to let the little children come to Him, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as them. We will discuss how important it is to not lose our child like faith in God and stop believing that all things are possible with Him. In Psalm 16 we  will discuss that even children can be woken up by God at night, like Samuel, so that He can talk to them in the quiet of night, and that if  we are having trouble sleeping we should ask God if He is calling us, asking us to listen to Him instead of sleeping, the way God called to Samuel in the middle of the night. We will also talk about how God doesn't leave us in the grave, because Jesus died for our sins and took away death. We will talk about physical death really being a form of  transformation, like how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly, and that  we, too, will transition to our greatest pleasure- living with God FOREVER.  In Psalm 19 we will talk about how God gave us the sun, moon,  and stars in the sky to serve as signs and seasons for us. During a time when people were worshiping the sun, God called His people to be different, set apart, and measure time by the Lunar calendar! We will pray together today and ask God to keep us from choosing to sin because  we want everything we say and think to make God happy, rather than grieving His Holy Spirit within us. In Psalm 24 we will praise God and thank Him that because He sent his son, Jesus, to die for our sins we no longer have sin in our hearts and we can live with God forever!

00:00:02
Speaker
Hi everybody, it's Saturday, March 29th, 2025, and you are here with Robin at In the Family Way Coaching. and We're about to read the Bible today. We are going through the entire Bible with the Day by Day Kids Bible that's been written by Karen Henley.
00:00:19
Speaker
This is a chronological Bible, and it gives us the big story from Genesis to Revelation. If you have been following along for a while, then you may have a calendar.
00:00:32
Speaker
And if you have that, it's time to get that out because you're about to hear the Bible today. I have my sticker on there for today.

Bible Reading Motivation Tools

If you are interested in your own copy of the calendar, I know we're right at the end of this month, but coming on April 1st, I will have the new calendar out for April. And you are always welcome, no matter which day it is or how late we are in the month, to head over to my site and download your free calendar, even if you just need one for the refrigerator.

This is a great little motivational tool, and that's why I have the calendar there for you even as just a free download so that it will help you be motivated to read and follow along each day so that you can be encouraged when you see however your calendar is marked off, whether you draw your own cross or write a smiley face or a little checkbox.
00:01:59

When you see that every day, it will help you to be motivated to come back and have the next day as well. And then I do also have a participation gift. So if you have but been participating, then i would love to send you a ah participation gift.
00:02:16

00:02:34
Speaker
And then there is a box that says, let me know you listened or watched the video. And that's under the subheading of March 2025 readings.
00:02:45
Speaker
And then you can let me know that you have been following along and I will be happy to send you this month's participation gift.

Refrigerator Delivery Frustrations

00:02:54
Speaker
Well, for those of you following along with the never-ending saga of my Robin's refrigerator, I have an update for you that I still do not have a refrigerator.
00:03:08
Speaker
Once again, i received my confirmation that the refrigerator was scheduled for delivery for today. I had my delivery window and it was supposed to be from 2 to 6 today.
00:03:21
Speaker
and And I got my confirmation this morning saying you are stop number 13. And then ah you're supposed to be able to track that delivery and see how many stops away your driver is.
00:03:35
Speaker
And so I had done that on Thursday, so I was a little familiar with the process. So when I clicked my link after I received my notifications today, um it didn't have anything listed.
00:03:47
Speaker
It just said preparing for delivery. So I thought, well, they did just send it to me. It's probably just not updated yet. So I waited a while and I waited until after I got out of church today.
00:04:00
Speaker
And as this is Saturday and I've been attending a Jewish Messianic church, so they meet on Saturday because Saturday is technically the Sabbath day. We change it as Christians to Sunday, if you didn't know this, because Jesus rose on a Sunday morning.
00:04:15
Speaker
ah But the customary Sabbath day is Saturday. So I've been attending church on Saturday and I made sure that my delivery was after two. So I'd have a chance to get home to receive it.
00:04:27
Speaker
And so after church, I was there ah and I was looking at my ah tracking to try to see how far along my driver was. And I was planning to leave by one to get home by my two o'clock start window.
00:04:44
Speaker
And I was a little concerned because ah it said, oh, we have a problem with the website, it looked like. It said, we have a problem. You can dial the 800 number. And I thought, well, I'm using the previous link that I used on Thursday. So maybe I need to use the new link that they sent to me this morning.
00:05:02
Speaker
So I clicked on the new link for this morning, and I entered my order number, and it said, we have a problem. And I thought, oh, no.
00:05:12
Speaker
So I called the 800 number after leaving church, and they said, well, we show that it's out for delivery. And the automated system told me that now my delivery was between five and nine instead of between two and six.
00:05:26
Speaker
And I was like, well, I don't have any notifications for that, but okay. At least it would still be on the way, right? So I get to a live person, and the live person says, well, I do show that it's it's not...
00:05:41
Speaker
out for delivery. And they said, but we need to transfer you to the delivery section. So they transferred me to the delivery warehouse. I got to the delivery warehouse and the person said, well, I don't know why they told you it wasn't on the way. It shows here that it's on the way.
00:05:59
Speaker
Oh, but let me place you on hold so I can look this up and see what it is I'm seeing. And I said, okay. So I waited on hold for several minutes.
00:06:09
Speaker
And they came back and they said, actually, your refrigerator is not on the delivery truck. It is not out for delivery because apparently it's been damaged and we don't have another one in stock.
00:06:24
Speaker
So we have to order one from another warehouse and it will be shipped and hopefully we will receive it by tomorrow and you can have your delivery tomorrow on Sunday.
00:06:35
Speaker
So they had to place a secondary order From my refrigerator. And they were able to get it scheduled for Sunday now. For delivery. And I have received a delivery window.
00:06:49
Speaker
Of 1130 to 230. 1130 to 330 rather. So. ah One more day in the life of of a refrigerator delivery.
00:07:00
Speaker
And that's where I'm at.

Finding Peace through Prayer and Community

00:07:03
Speaker
ah Someone prayed with me this morning at church because I was really feeling discouraged by what I felt was just probably not handling it as well as I could have being so stressed out as I have been.
00:07:16
Speaker
And that I mentioned ah previously that and i was trying my best, but I didn't really feel like I was succeeding. So... um They prayed over me and they prayed for God's peace for me.
00:07:30
Speaker
And I immediately felt God's peace. So even though I was concerned about my delivery, this was before I received the notice that my refrigerator was not coming. um I felt better.
00:07:43
Speaker
And then I received the news that it was not coming and it didn't bother me. i was I was not very upset. I was a little bit upset. but not like I had been.
00:07:55
Speaker
And i was disappointed, but I finally was just like, okay, another day, it's fine. So I didn't need any extra time to do my video because I didn't feel upset or anything. We just, my husband and I said, okay, we need to go out and get some other stuff done.
00:08:16
Speaker
And then when I come home tonight, then I'll do my video. So that's what I'm doing. And it's 10 o'clock at night now, 10, 15 almost my time. And ah now I'm giving you my refrigerator update.
00:08:30
Speaker
It may be that not everybody listening cares about my refrigerator, but I have had a number of people who are listening ask me about my refrigerator um ah outside of the videos. And so i I wanted to go ahead and give that.
00:08:44
Speaker
This is my videos. So it's not like I have a huge audience here. So you can skip ahead if you were not interested in the refrigerator saga, Robin's Refrigerator Saga, chapter four or whatever we're on now, chapter five. It's a never ending story.
00:09:00
Speaker
So tune in tomorrow to find out if I actually got my refrigerator on Sunday.
00:09:09
Speaker
So I've been very happy reading the Psalms though. I thought they've been great. I was really happy that that she prayed for God's peace over me. And and I did, I, then I felt it.
00:09:21
Speaker
And I know that there are those of you out there praying for me, like Julie, and I know that you've been praying for me and I do appreciate those prayers too. So they've all been helpful. They've been very encouraging and I've just really been struggling with trying um to be okay with all of the different things going wrong.
00:09:39
Speaker
And I just kept getting, you know, upset.
00:09:44
Speaker
But I finally felt God's peace with it. I thought I was doing good with God's peace yesterday when it was coming, as soon as I submitted and said, two things are out of my control.
00:09:56
Speaker
ah So I felt better then, but then this morning I was just really feeling um like I had just completely failed in this process. And so she said, no, that this was the enemy that was trying to make me feel ah upset about it and that I was not a failure and that, um and I appreciated that.
00:10:15
Speaker
So I wanted to share that with you because I thought that that might be encouraging as well because we are all just people, right? And we're not perfect. We are struggling and we try our best, don't we? And none of us is perfect.
00:10:28
Speaker
And I'm so thankful that our God is so gracious and so forgiving and then i and that he really does have everything in his hand and he will work the timing out and he is not in a hurry.
00:10:39
Speaker
And he's teaching me not to be in a hurry either.

Joyful Psalms and Comfort in Stress

00:10:43
Speaker
hu So I'm feeling so much better and I'm actually pretty happy and pretty joyful about it and I was able to do things that I would not have otherwise had time to do Such as pick up my ring from the jeweler. My wedding ring has been at the jeweler for months now ah because it ah needed to be resized I couldn't wear it on my finger and
00:11:08
Speaker
I really needed to have my ring on it was bothering at me. So we were able to go pick that up and they're not open on Sundays. And we got some other things done. So it was just really nice to spend the day with my husband and get those things done.
00:11:23
Speaker
So I'm thankful to God that he gave us the time to do that. So let's go ahead and head into our Psalms. And we're going to start a new section of Psalms today.
00:11:37
Speaker
I'm going to read Psalms before went out today. we are starting the section entitled songs of joy isn't it nice to have some joy i know i definitely was ready for some joy today and i did read those psalms before i went out today so ah and then i read them again tonight so i'm just they really are awesome So let's head into these psalms. We have a couple to read.
00:12:04
Speaker
And we're going to discuss each psalm individually because they're not part of a story. They're not a continuous story from one to the next. They're individual, complete psalms.
00:12:18
Speaker
So the first one is entitled, From Children's Mouths. And it is Psalm 8, and it's been written by David. Lord, our Lord, your name is great all over the earth.
00:12:31
Speaker
Your greatness is higher than the sky. You plan for children and babies to praise you. I see the sky that you made with your hands.
00:12:44
Speaker
I see the moon and stars that you put up there. Then I wonder why you even think about people. I wonder why you care about us. But you made us only a little lower than the beings from heaven.
00:12:58
Speaker
You made us important to you. You put people in charge of everything you made. They rule over sheep and cows and all the wild animals.
00:13:13
Speaker
They rule over birds in the sky and fish in the sea. Lord, our Lord, your name is great all over the earth.
00:13:25
Speaker
And that's the end of Psalm 8.
00:13:28
Speaker
This is a beautiful psalm entitled From Children's Mouths. And it says, You plan for children and babies to praise you. And our New Testament parallel is that Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to like people like them.
00:13:50
Speaker
That means to have a childlike faith. When you guys are children, you can you believe that everything can happen. And it's easy to believe in amazing things because you've been taught and told and it's easy for you to just believe anything is possible.
00:14:06
Speaker
And then we get older and we start to have doubts and we start to say, oh, that's not possible. Oh, this can't be. Oh, I don't believe in that anymore. And God says that with man,
00:14:18
Speaker
This is impossible, but with God, all things are possible. But as grownups, sometimes we forget about these things being possible, that everything is possible with God.
00:14:30
Speaker
And so a lot of people will say, well, I don't believe it unless I see it. And that was just like in Jesus's time when they said, you know, get if you're, if you're really the Messiah, give us a sign.
00:14:43
Speaker
And he says, I will give you the sign of Jonah. And they didn't know what he was talking about, that he would be inside the belly of the earth for three days, and then he would come out. And he said, it's a wicked generation that asks for a sign, but he would give them the sign of Jonah.
00:15:00
Speaker
And that's what he did. He was dead for three days, and then he rose again on Sunday. And that was the sign. He conquered death. And he told us before he went through that, let the little children come to me when one of the disciples or more of the disciples um were trying to stop the children from running over to him.
00:15:21
Speaker
And he said, don't stop them. Let them come to me. So you, as kids, you are important, just as important, if not more so than us adults, because such as the kingdom of heaven belongs to those like you who still believe.
00:15:39
Speaker
And don't stop believing that what seems impossible is actually really possible with God. Everything is possible with God, isn't it? If you see a grown-up not remembering that and not having faith, you remind them it is faith like yours that Jesus and God want.
00:15:59
Speaker
Remember that.
00:16:03
Speaker
And it says that we are important to God. We are important. God loves us so much. He loves you so much. He loves all of us so much that he sent us his son to die for us that who would ever believe would not die but have eternal life with him.
00:16:24
Speaker
And that's why ah one of our next Psalms will tell us that the greatest pleasure will be to live with him forever. That's a little ahead. you knowt We haven't read that yet, but that's in the next one.
00:16:36
Speaker
But see how they all connect? it's all they're all they don't They don't contradict each other. And it's wonderful that God made us important to him.
00:16:52
Speaker
We're not just important. He loves us. He loves us so much.
00:16:58
Speaker
And it says, Lord, our Lord, your name is great all over the earth. Let's be thankful and praise God for his love for us. And it says that we love because he first loved us.
00:17:13
Speaker
ah We could go on and on about that, couldn't we? While we were still sinners, God died for us. Christ died for us.
00:17:23
Speaker
Our next psalm is entitled, God Teaches Me, and it's Psalm 16, and it's also by David.

Exploring Psalm 16: Guidance and Joy

00:17:31
Speaker
Keep me safe, God. I come to you to find a safe place.
00:17:36
Speaker
I said to God, You're my Lord. Without you, i have nothing good. am happy with God's people. People who don't put God first have more and more trouble.
00:17:50
Speaker
God teaches my heart even at night. So I am glad and I will rest safely. You won't leave me in the grave. You show me how to live. ah You fill me with joy because you are near me.
00:18:08
Speaker
But the greatest pleasure will be to live with you forever. And that's that line that I just told you would be in the next Psalm ahead.
00:18:21
Speaker
It says, God teaches my heart even at night. Sometimes we can't sleep. God wakes us up. And it's so we can have quiet time with him.
00:18:33
Speaker
Grownups know this time. You might not have this time yet as kids. You might not remember it. But if you're having trouble sleeping at night, it might be because God is wanting to talk with you. You're not too young.
00:18:44
Speaker
In the book of Jeremiah, where God calls Jeremiah, Jeremiah says, I can't be called to you. I'm just a boy. and God says, don't say you're just a boy. will put my words in your mouth.
00:19:01
Speaker
So he talks to what would would be considered children. He wasn't a child, but he was under the age of 20. And he said, but I'm still just a boy. it doesn't matter.
00:19:13
Speaker
As we just read in the previous Psalm, it said in our first one, Psalm 8, let's see, you plan for children and babies to praise you.
00:19:26
Speaker
So it doesn't matter how old you are, God may well wake you up at night and keep you up. And if he does, then listen, just like when God called Samuel, And Samuel didn't know that it was God talking to him. And he kept thinking that it was, um, I forget the name of the priest he was living with.
00:19:46
Speaker
Eli might've been Eli. And he kept going in and saying, here I am. And he said, I didn't call you. Go back to bed. And then God said again, Samuel. So he got up. Yes. Yes, Lord.
00:19:58
Speaker
And he said, it's not me. And he didn't even say, he didn't say yes, Lord. He said, yes, you called me. And he said, no, I didn't call you. Go back to bed. After the third time, he said, ah God is calling you.
00:20:10
Speaker
and if you hear it again, say, here I am, Lord. So in the same way, it doesn't matter if you're young and you and you're awake in the middle of the night and you're not sure why you're laying there unable to sleep, then ask God, God, are you looking for me?
00:20:29
Speaker
Here I am And see if God talks to you and tells you about stuff.
00:20:38
Speaker
And it says, you won't leave me in the grave. You show me how to live. We talked a minute ago about how God doesn't let us die anymore.
00:20:49
Speaker
If you believe, you have eternal life. God does not leave us in a grave. We are transitioned to be like Jesus. We leave our earthly body behind and we transition.
00:21:03
Speaker
We call it death here, but it's just the transition. It's just like a worm, a a a caterpillar going into its ch chrysalis or cocoon.
00:21:18
Speaker
And it leaves its worm body behind. its caterpillar body behind, and it transforms into a butterfly. And in that same way, that's the way I think it is, is that we, it's like they say ah every every plant has to die, every seed has to die in order to become a plant.
00:21:41
Speaker
So it changes. It starts out as a seed, but it doesn't it doesn't stay looking like a seed. It grows into a whole nother thing. And we are just like that. We see this everywhere.
00:21:52
Speaker
The things that start out as looking like one thing end up growing up to look like something entirely different. And that is our transformation too. And so we get so ah caught up in this idea that that we're dying.
00:22:08
Speaker
But we're really not dying because Jesus already took care of death for us. We are simply transitioning to our next life, is our next existence, not our next life, but to the rest of our life with God forever in heaven and with Jesus.
00:22:24
Speaker
It's a transformation. It's not death. And it says, you will not leave me in the grave. You show me how to live. And God did teach us how to live. Jesus does teach us how to live, to believe in him.
00:22:38
Speaker
And then we will not have death, but instead have eternal life with him. And it says, you fill me with joy because you are near me. Who do we have with us now all the time?
00:22:52
Speaker
That's right, the Holy Spirit. We have Jesus with us. Jesus and the Holy Spirit, we are never alone. And it causes us to be filled with joy.
00:23:04
Speaker
if it doesn't, think about it and that will fill you with joy. You're just not paying attention to it. Whoever we are, if you're not filled with joy at the thought that God's Holy Spirit is now with you, then you're just not taking the time to think about that.
00:23:19
Speaker
It says, but the greatest pleasure will be to live with you forever. Even though we have the Holy Spirit and Jesus with us right now, the greatest pleasure will be to live with God forever when we are transformed like Jesus.
00:23:36
Speaker
I believe it's called into a glorified body.
00:23:40
Speaker
When Jesus um rose after he came back the the the first time. All right, let's go on to the next psalm.
00:23:50
Speaker
It is entitled Psalm 19, God's Way, and it's and it's Psalm 19 by David, God's Way.

Psalm 19: God's Presence in Nature

00:23:59
Speaker
The sky shows how great God is.
00:24:02
Speaker
Every day it tells about God. Every night it shows what he is like. No matter what language people speak, they can understand what the sky tells.
00:24:15
Speaker
All over the world, people can see it God has made the sky a tent for the sun. The sun is like a groom getting married.
00:24:26
Speaker
He comes out of his tent, and the sun is like a happy winner running a race. It rises at one side of the sky and travels to the other side. Nothing can hide from the heat of the sun.
00:24:42
Speaker
God's way is the best. It keeps us strong. We can trust in God's rules. They make foolish people wise.
00:24:54
Speaker
God's commands are right. They fill our hearts with joy. God's commands shine clearly, giving our spirits light. God's rules are sure and right.
00:25:09
Speaker
They are more special than gold. They are sweeter than honey from the honeycomb. Good comes to those who obey God's rules. Keep me from choosing to sin.
00:25:21
Speaker
Then I will do what's right and not what's wrong. I want everything I say and think to make you happy, God.
00:25:32
Speaker
Ah, that's a really great one.
00:25:36
Speaker
The sky shows how great God is.
00:25:41
Speaker
Today is ah the start of the first month of the Jewish calendar, which is a lunar calendar. It's the first day of, I think it's pronounced Nisan or Nisan.
00:25:52
Speaker
I'm not sure. Forgive me for mispronouncing it. I'm not great with that yet. And i was taught today ah at the service that while everybody else was worshiping the sun, God called his people to be different and gave us the lunar calendar.
00:26:12
Speaker
And he set that up. So today is the new moon and it marks the first of the month. And so ah this is the time right before we're going to have Passover.
00:26:24
Speaker
So we have Passover coming. And the Passover is marked on the calendar according to the lunar calendar. And so the sky shows how great God is.
00:26:36
Speaker
God gave us the sky and the stars and the sun and the moon to show times and dates and seasons. But we don't worship the sky. We worship the one who made the sky.

And it says no matter what language people speak, they can understand what the sky tells. It doesn't matter if you're speaking Hebrew or English or Aramaic or Greek or Italian or any other language.
00:27:03
Speaker
We can read the lunar calendar. We can read the the sky and it gives us signs for the seasons
00:27:12
Speaker
and other times for our calendar dates.
00:27:15
Speaker
And it says God's way is best. It keeps us strong. We can trust God's rules. God's commands are right and they fill our hearts with joy.
00:27:28
Speaker
it then oh They make foolish people wise. God's commands, when we don't know what to do, if we simply follow God's rules, then it's wise.
00:27:39
Speaker
We become wise by doing that. Even though we don't understand why at times, why we should be doing this, we need to trust that God's ways are higher than our ways and his ah thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
00:27:52
Speaker
So his he is what he is doing is right. He is perfect.
00:27:59
Speaker
God's commands shine clearly giving our spirits light.
00:28:06
Speaker
Good comes to those who obey God's rules. And that reminded me of the commandment for children to obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
00:28:19
Speaker
And I cannot remember how the last part goes exactly, but it says, if you obey your parents in the Lord, then you will live a long life.
00:28:29
Speaker
It is the only command that comes with a promise of something good to come out of it. If you obey your parents in the Lord, then your life will be long.
00:28:42
Speaker
You will have a good life.
00:28:46
Speaker
So good things come to those who obey God's rules.
00:28:51
Speaker
Keep me from choosing to sin. Then I will do what's right and not what's wrong. Lord, I pray that you will help us to do what is right and not what's wrong.
00:29:06
Speaker
Keep us all from choosing not to sin.
00:29:12
Speaker
Just like how Jesus prayed, our New Testament parallel is the is the the Lord's Prayer, where he says, Our Father who is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
00:29:28
Speaker
And lead us not into temptation, that parallels here, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
00:29:41
Speaker
Amen.
00:29:44
Speaker
I think I missed a part. Our Father who's out in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Did I skip that? I'm so sorry. i can't remember what I said a minute ago.
00:29:56
Speaker
ah But that's what we're talking about is that to do what is right and not what's wrong. And God's way, not is his will be done, not our own will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
00:30:10
Speaker
And we want everything we say and think to make you happy, God. And we've talked before about not grieving the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit can be sad.
00:30:21
Speaker
To grieve is to be sad about something. And usually when something is dead, we can grieve, or that's mourning. But you can we can grieve the Holy Spirit, we don't want to make the Spirit sad.
00:30:33
Speaker
So we want everything we say and think to make God happy because He is inside of us. He knows our every thought.
00:30:44
Speaker
Let's go on to our last Psalm.

Psalm 24: Sovereignty and Purity

00:30:46
Speaker
This is a longer video, so I'm sorry if it's if it's running long for everybody since I had my refrigerator saga tale, and then it takes time to discuss each Psalm.
00:30:56
Speaker
So I'm sorry if some of you are thinking that it's a little long. I'm trying to be mindful of the time.
00:31:02
Speaker
The Great King, Psalm 24, also by David. So every Psalm we've read today is by David.
00:31:13
Speaker
The earth and everything in it belong to God. The world and everyone in it belong to him. He made the land and set it on the sea.
00:31:25
Speaker
Who can live with God? Only people who don't have sin in their hearts. People who put God first. God will send good things to them.
00:31:39
Speaker
Lift up your heads, you gates. Open up, you doors. Then the great king can come in. Who is this great king? God.
00:31:50
Speaker
He is strong and full of power. He is the great king.
00:31:58
Speaker
And that's the end of our Psalm 24, the great king. The earth and everything in it belong to God. Everything is his.
00:32:11
Speaker
Who can live with God? Only people who don't have sin in their hearts. Well, thankfully, Jesus came and died for our sins and that has atoned for us.
00:32:24
Speaker
Prior to that, everybody had to participate in the ah yearly atonement and then God would atone for their sins once a year with a sacrifice offering.
00:32:36
Speaker
And then we're I'm so thankful because now Jesus came and made that sacrifice. And we no longer have to make a sin offering because he washed us and we are clean as snow.
00:32:48
Speaker
We are white. we are and say He says he will remember our sins no more. As far as the east is from the west, he will remember our sins no more.
00:32:59
Speaker
So we all can live with God because we don't have sin in our hearts anymore. He has washed us clean. He forgives us. We are completely forgiven with God's free gift of salvation.
00:33:13
Speaker
It might seem that it's repetitive, but these Psalms are telling us the truth about these things. And so we want to talk about what they are about. And it doesn't matter that they're all different.
00:33:25
Speaker
We can see that the truth runs through each one of them.
00:33:32
Speaker
says, lift up your heads, you gates, and open up, you doors. Then the great king can come in. Let's open the doors of our heart and invite him in if we have not done so already.
00:33:45
Speaker
Who is this great king? It's God. he is strong and full of power. He is the great king. Amen.
00:33:57
Speaker
I'm so thankful for that. Hallelujah. He is our great king.

Finding Joy and Light in the Psalms

00:34:04
Speaker
Well, that is the end of our Psalms for today. It takes us a little longer to do our Psalm reading because it's not just one story that we are talking about one in our discussion, but it's every Psalm individually.
00:34:19
Speaker
So each one does take time. So I hope that you're not discouraged by the longer time. We had some ah pretty short times for a good bit of the time there, 15, 18 minutes, under 20 minutes.
00:34:31
Speaker
But the Psalms, since we have a number of them, they do take longer to discuss. But I think you'll find that they are worth it to show how applicable they are every single day for us. Every single day, God's word is applicable.
00:34:44
Speaker
And as we read through this event, ah read through the Bible in this event every day, i hope that you are finding that these psalms even and that every day is applicable in your life. And if you feel that God has used these Psalms to light your light today, i know that they definitely lit my light today.
00:35:02
Speaker
They are definitely songs of joy. And I hope that you feel that you have God's joy in your heart after hearing them. And I hope that you feel that God has lit your light today.
00:35:13
Speaker
And if you have, please click that light button. It looks like a thumbs up or a heart, but it's really a light button. because we are the light of the world. And together, let's light up this event so that other people can also be encouraged by hearing God's beautiful psalms and so that they too can light up the world and let's spread the word about reading God's word.
00:35:37
Speaker
Thank you for joining me today. And I will be here again tomorrow. And hopefully, and will have a refrigerator. Thank you for being here.
