Ep 21: How to release the fear of charging high(er) prices for your transformational offers (and get people to say “YES!”)

If you started your coaching business for freedom of time, the ability to travel where you want, be completely present with your family and live life on YOUR terms, your offers and their prices MUST reflect that desire.

Otherwise, how will this financial freedom that’s at the core of this physical freedom we’re discussing manifest??

You have to give it a path to follow, to materialize and become a physical reality, right?

Right.

This is where increasing your prices for your highest-level-of-access to your offers comes into play.

When you charge a small fee of $100-$300 for 1:1 time with you, not only are you eating up the time you could be spending creating more impactful programs for many people, but you’re also eating up your creative energy to do so.

This time-for-money trap also places a quick cap on the amount of money, and therefore spaciousness, liberation, and freedom you can create for yourself and others right out of the gate.

I am so excited though because I'm going to talk to you all about pricing your offers. I want to talk to you about the world of high ticket coaching, what that really looks like, and how to command these high prices um in a way that feels aligned and good and valuable while also releasing any shame or fear to do so. I really believe that so many of us start our businesses with the value, right, of freedom, liberation. And a lot of times what that translates to is a freedom from that time for money trap.

and And we talked about this in the in the last episode, but when we're starting our businesses and we're looking at our end goal, our long-term vision, it usually involves making a lot of money to create spaciousness within so that we're able to create on a higher frequency, on a higher plane of vibration, where we are expressing ourselves on these levels of creation that are unparalleled, unmatched. And the reason that we ask for high prices is so that we do have that opportunity to grow. It's for the opportunity to have more time, to have more time to work on ourselves, to expand our consciousness, and to live as this multi-dimensional, multi-passionate human, and to really align ourselves with our soul's mission to do so.

money is a thing, right? It's a thing. We cannot escape it. This is something that creates freedom for us. This is a symbol of freedom in our Western culture and you can't really get away from that but we try to. I think I see so many people doing the same thing and I've been guilty myself but it's like you come into this healing business, this coaching business, this mentoring business in a really righteous way. you You know that you're doing this for the higher good of other people, but you're also doing it for the higher good of yourself because you know that whatever is best for you is going to be best for others. The more that you live in your light, the more that you're going to be an example for others to follow and to find their light as well.

And so we have this value of

freedom of liberation from not only um time for money, trap, but also ah we want this freedom from the bondage of self, freedom from limiting beliefs and thoughts.

And so we go on this journey on this quest and our goal is to have a business where we teach others to do the same thing. So we're, we have this huge vision where we're in this all encompassing mindset of liberation and of freedom. And then what do we do? We come at it from this, I don't really know if I'm allowed to do that because is that righteous? Is that spiritual? Is that good enough? Am I allowed?

And then all of a sudden we're going from this mindset of abundance and opportunity and growth and anything is possible to this mindset of lack, to one of questioning self-doubt, lack of confidence, not allowing ourselves to take the leap, doing things to avoid the one thing that we want to do.

Right, so we'll find, our mind will find all of these different pathways. to It throws all of these rabbit holes at us. And it's like, well, try this, try this, try this. You need to learn how to how to write hooks properly before you can sell anything. You need to learn how to do reels in a way that will make them go viral. You need to learn how to do copywriting in a way that's going to attract the most people possible, right? And then and then you'll make it, and then you'll make it. This is all fear-based. This is your mind.

And what it's doing is avoiding the one thing. Because when you start following all of these lower level paths, when you start trying to learn all of the things, when you try to gain all of this self knowledge, you are essentially doing what everybody else is doing. And you're running in the rat race and it feels hard and it's not fun. And your body knows that, your body is so smart and you know that.

And yet you continue to do it because you're avoiding the one thing. You're avoiding the one thing that would liberate you. and then would also work to liberate others. Because when you're liberated and you're living, embodied in that freedom, you become the direct reflection of it to other people who want the same thing. And that's the only way people change. They do not change because you tell them to. They do not change because you heal them. They change because they see what you've done for yourself and it inspires them to do the same.

And so if we want to live that way, the thing that allows us that spaciousness, that freedom to to grow and to change, that freedom of time, we have to be making enough money to feel secure and safe enough to play in that realm because money is a real thing in our world. So we cannot escape that. And yet we do everything we can to try to avoid it. And so what I see a lot of people doing and what I've done myself is finding ways to make their, what should be a paid offer, either free, very, very, very low priced, or um they just never get around to offering the big thing. The big thing that that would give them so much security, that would give them so much stability in their business and would allow them to play in the realm of possibilities.

And so what I'm really talking about is if you're trying to start an online business and you're a healer, a mentor, a coach, probably the pinnacle would be to be making 15 to $30,000 a month, right? So that you can move on and focus on other things. And so what does that really look like? That looks like having one to two clients signing up and paying you that amount.

Benefits of High-Ticket Coaching

And that's it. And then you get to move on from there and create from that place of spaciousness of expansion of excitement of fun. But what do we do we avoid that. And so we create all these free offers and and I'm not saying that a free masterclass isn't a great thing and or even an essential thing. um To gain some traction in your business to have some reach and to actually get people off of social media into an experience with you and really understanding and trusting your

the lens in which you view view your life, right the way that you teach, the the context behind what you teach, being able to sink their teeth into it. I think that free things are amazing and actually very, very essential to the process of building this business. But don't get that twisted. Don't get that confused with only offering free things because that's not valuable to anybody.

and so We have this big vision where like, oh my God, I really would love to charge people $15,000 for the year with me. I think that would be really beneficial to me and them because the transformation will be priceless. And yet we'll avoid it by, you know, basically selling our methods or sessions, one-offs.

um We start putting ourselves into a therapist's shoes by accident and we start selling our time for money instead of looking at how valuable our time really is and only allowing people access to it at that high level for a high level of energetic exchange, which would be a high level of money for your for access to your high level of proximity. And so we avoid it. And, and that's kind of where I want to start with this is how can we, how can we stop avoiding it and just do the thing, make the money, ask for the command that high price and move on with our lives so that we can actually build this business that is so fun and so alive and brings you joy every single day. And through that brings other people joy and brings them light and brings them closer to their real selves.

First thing I want you to understand is that high ticket coaching is obviously advantageous for not just you, but for the person that you're mentoring as well, because they're getting high levels of access to your pricing, your offers based off of accessibility, access to you, proximity to you so that you can get yourself out of the time for money trap.

The more proximity, the higher proximity that somebody has to you, the higher the price because then you're going to have the ability to create things that maybe don't have as high of a level of access to you are super valuable and therefore don't cost as much and might have an easier access point, a less barrier of entry for more people.

which is going to still be super nourishing for you as well as them.

Energetic Investments and Belief Alignment

Okay, so this allows this starting with that higher level, having that higher ticket offer allows spaciousness and expansion for both parties.

And I want you to understand that money is simply an energetic transfer and you're learning how to hold more energy as you build this business and you're learning how to give what you intend to receive. And so something to mention is if you have not, if you have not given or You have not experienced the process of paying in the amounts that you're asking other people to pay. It could be causing a stickiness. This could be causing a hiccup in your energy where it's like, I really want to charge this price, but I'm not willing to do it for myself. And so your energy is getting on board. It's following that belief.

Is following the lack of belief because ultimately if we're not willing to invest in ourselves and believe in ourselves in the. Amount that we're asking other people to believe in themselves and investing themselves there's a stickiness there there's a there's possibly.

a a gap that needs to be filled through your action. And so if you have not yet done it, I highly recommend experiencing first the thing that you are asking other people to take action on, which would be investing in yourself at a high level if you have not yet.

And so that will help clean up that energy because not only will you be able to walk people through the process of paying a higher price for your coaching and you'll have stories also to share to create more context for them to walk themselves through it, to lead themselves through it. But also you're going to have so much more confidence as you do so, as you explain to them like what you've gone through and how it felt and um and the process and the expansion and the contraction and the whole thing. If you don't have that, it's going to be really hard to hold somebody through that energy because you haven't learned how to hold yourself through it yet. And so again, I really highly encourage and I always encourage you to only teach or only offer what you've experienced for yourself first. So first you need to take an honest look at what you have been available to give

And then look at it as like, okay, if I have not been available to give that, how would I possibly be be able to ask the universe to receive that? That would be a hard ask. And it can get really heady, but it's not heady. It's just obvious. It's like, you are going to receive that which what you are willing to give.

So the experience has to be there. I really believe that. Otherwise it can be really hard and you're, it's like, listen, how, how easy could it be? And how, um, how much less resistant would the path be? If you would just essentially stop resisting and do the thing, do the thing that you're asking other people to do instantly, your world will be changed because you are going to see.

things from that perspective and it will be so easy to tell the stories around that perspective. And that's what people are going to basically fall into and be like, Oh my God, I totally get that. I can sink my teeth into that one. This is something that resonates with me. There's a resonance there because you have felt it and now you are expressing that experience to them. And so they're going to be able to sink their teeth into it and go, okay, I get that.

And also, you know, this is a declaration. This is a declaration to the universe of what you're available for. That's the same idea. It's like if you are wanting to receive an abundance, you must be willing to give an abundance. But when you do give, it's like you are basically putting your foot down and you're saying, this is what I am available for because I am willing to give it. And you're declaring that to the universe. And when you make that declaration, you are going to feel so much more confident in commanding those prices from other people because you've done it for yourself and you know how liberating it was. You know how expansive it was. You know what was on the other side of that growth.

Right? You found yourself in some ways through that, through that experience. And so this is the path.

Embracing Uncertainty for Growth

This is how you do it. Now, when you do pay a large sum of money, I'm talking like 10 to 20 grand in one go, right? You are stepping into the void and you are asking other people when you Christ things like this, you are asking other people to step into the void. But what is the void? The void is fun. But most people have this, this belief that it's terrifying because it is full of uncertainty. Uncertainty is the biggest fear that we have. If we don't know how something's going to go, our first reaction is to try to control it. We manufacture feelings and behaviors

that are there to give us a false sense of ease and comfort so that we can avoid that uncertainty. So we can avoid the void. I want you to take the leap off the edge and jump into the void because the void is what? The void is where all possibilities live. This is where the limitlessness of life lives. This is where all opportunities live.

This is where the infinite nature of reality awaits you in the context of business, right? This is where the infinite nature of reality awaits your clients in the context of whatever it is that you are teaching. And we have to be able to lead people into this uncertainty, this thing that creates more fear in humans than anything else. And that produces more self-seeking behaviors, more, um,

more self-sabotage, right? More manufactured security than anything else, than any other feeling, than any other fear. It's uncertainty. So we have to be able to walk people through that. And you have to know that this path is actually fun and expansive and exciting and like thrilling, right? When I put down $20,000 on a coach, it's,

It is kind of scary, right? But at some point your body gets calibrated to that and it becomes normal. You are practicing investing in yourself. You are helping people practice investing in themselves and looking at themselves and looking at yourself as your own safest asset, as their own safest asset. Why is it that men will just go and get a business loan and knowing that they might be in the red for five years?

before they make a profit. Why is that so easy for them? Yet we as women and as coaches, mentors, healers doing our life's purpose work, we are so afraid to take that dive and to invest in ourselves. It's a lack of belief. It is a lack of belief in our own innate value.

Yet, you know it's there, you're following the seed of desire, you're following your path, you're following your life. And yet, when it comes to the to the tangible aspect of investing in yourself and asking other people to invest in themselves, it's like a, uh, wait, can I do that?

Yes, you can and you must. And here's why, because you are, when you act in that way, you are shifting the paradigm. You are shifting the belief system of the collective, of women everywhere who want to follow their light and who want to know that they can trust in themselves more than anything else in the universe.

Right? This is what we're here to do. And money is an energetic exchange. It's a pathway. It's a portal. It's how we get to the other side. And then what happens is when we make sound investments in ourselves and we do what's aligned with our hearts instead of our heads,

Right? We get to start experiencing true ah ROI. And I don't mean ah ROI like that happens immediately where you're like, Oh my God, I made my investment back in three days. No ROI where that investment that you made in yourself compounds on itself over time. And it, you get that, you reap the benefits over and over and over and over again. And it never stops. It's an infinite cycle.

It's an infinite process of benefit, of return on the investment. And yes, you actually can make your return on investment monetarily within three days. Sometimes that does happen and it's a beautiful thing, but sometimes it takes a little bit of time. But I can tell you from experience that when you invest in things that your heart is calling you to invest in and you align yourself with it and you do it quickly and without resistance, the quicker you can face and lean into the resistance and you can say, no, I'm doing the thing. I'm not going to keep waiting, right? And creating energetic weight from waiting. And then you build up more weight, right?

When you just release that anchor and you say, no, I'm in, I'm all in, I'm doing it and taking action on the thing that my heart is telling me to do, the faster that you're gonna experience that expansion, that growth, that real change, that shift, that change of heart that is necessary in order to ask other people to do the same thing that your that you are that you have now done, that you have now experienced for yourself. This is stepping into the void. And I hope this is landing.

So you are making a declaration to the universe of what you are available for. You're stepping into the void. You're, you're walking yourself through the thing that you're going to be walking other people through when you are asking for high prices. It's fun. It's uncertain, but your job is to essentially understand that this uncertainty is the fun.

Because what happens on the other side of jumping into the uncertainty is things that you cannot conceive of, your mind cannot conceive of. It's going to go in a completely different direction than you could have ever imagined for yourself and most likely it's going to be better than what you could have ever imagined, right? That's because you're getting out of your own way, you're getting out of your own head and you're jumping into the void.

Understanding Buyer Beliefs in Coaching

So here's something to think about is how do people buy and who are you speaking to, right? When you're when you are asking and it makes your heart feel so excited to ask for a higher price on something and you're like, that's really what I wanna do. That would create the spaciousness for me. I would love to do that.

Who are you speaking to when you command that price? Who are you talking to? Because when you do that, you've got to know that there are people that buy low ticket and there are people that buy high ticket. And what I'm saying is there's a buyer for everything, but you've got to know your buyer and the buyer who's going to buy the high ticket thing has a different belief system than the one that's going for the lower ticket offer.

You have to know that when you're asking for the higher price point, you've got to know that the person that you're speaking to is a completely different person than the person that you may have been trying to sell your lower ticket offers to and that we're buying them because here's the truth.

I personally don't buy low ticket offers. I just don't. I'm the person that's in the grocery store looking at two different brands. And if I can't really see much of a difference, let's say that I'm buying like a granola brand for my son. I can look at nutrients. I can look at the ingredients list.

Ultimately, they might be very similar. I'm going to buy, most likely, the one that's a little bit more expensive because my belief system, whether it's real or not, doesn't matter. It's beside the point. i My belief system tells me that the higher priced one is going to be higher quality.

whether that's true or not, I don't know. And I'm not here to discuss that. And I'm not here to like pick apart whether or not that's stupid or or or smart. It doesn't matter. The point is, is that's how I buy. And I'm being honest about it. And this is how other people buy. And so when you're looking at your high priced offers, it's like, you need to know you are definitely allowed.

To offer it at that price you just need to know who you're speaking to and you need to know that there's somebody out there that's like Going to buy that and going to buy it because it's that high because it's that price point Let's say that you were offering high ticket one-on-ones And you're offering it for, let's say $300 for three months versus $12,000 for 12 months. Okay. I mean, these are two very, very, very different offers, but the person that

like might have seen this, the person that's buying the $12,000 offer might have seen the $300 offer and just been like, no, like didn't even read the description of it because and even though it was like essentially the same exact offer, it was just maybe a little bit less time and way less money, they might've seen that price and just said, it's not for me. It's a one-on-one for $300.

I'm out. That is me. I can tell you right now, if I see that somebody is charging $300 for one-on-one time, that's not, that's ah my belief system tells me immediately that the quality is not what I want. And so I'm not attracted to that type of pricing.

So to think to yourself that you're not allowed or that um there wouldn't be anybody out there that would want to pay that price is ludicrous. And it's honestly, it's just not true. this is There's just different buyers based off of belief. My coach actually has a lower tier offer that I am allowed to like go to any calls. I'm allowed to be a part of any programs that they that they create in that lower tier.

access to her. And I have yet to get involved with any of the calls that that lower tier has been a part of. Like if she creates something for that lower tier of um membership, I am not there. And I'm not trying to be uppity here. I'm just being really honest that there are people that buy based off of different belief systems.

And i I can't help, and I know that this probably is not true. I have a feeling that the quality of mentorship that she gives to the lower tier, like in a program, let's say, um if it's a if she's doing a workshop or something, it's probably very similar to the level of quality that I'm getting.

and the higher level of membership and yet my brain does not create time for those lower tier programs and I would never invest in it at that level. I just went straight for the top because I believe that's where the quality was. Okay, so if you're still sitting here going I just can't do it. I have invested in myself I have invested at this higher price point that I'm demanding from other people or I want to anyway. And yet I'm still sitting here with a lot of anxiety. So if you're like, I have invested in myself at this level and yet I'm still feeling anxiety over the value that I feel my offer is and and asking for these higher level prices. Here's what I want to reflect to you.

it could be one of two or three things. Okay, so first of all, it could just be that you're allowing your fear to take over and fear ultimately is coming from ego, right? It is coming from mind, it's not coming from your soul. And so it's really important and imperative that you take time to connect with your higher self and to take action from that truly aligned, inspired place.

Ask yourself, is this what you want? If it is, and if it's aligned, don't sabotage yourself. Do not go and take a million routes to the lower level stuff, wasting your time, not selling the one thing that you really want and that you know will will create more spaciousness in your life and other people's lives than anything else.

don't avoid that and then create your own disappointment by doing so. right That's what your ego is trying to do. It's trying to basically help you avoid disappointment by disappointing you first, by not allowing you to have the one thing that you want.

so that if you do allow yourself to go have it and you don't get it, you won't be disappointed. So you're going to disappoint yourself before you can even get to that point. Please don't do that. That is your ego speaking. That is fear. If it's fear-based, it is not coming from your soul. Therefore, you're not acting in alignment. So know that truth. Go connect with your higher self. Go meditate. Go do something to connect and ask yourself what it is that you should be doing in this moment.

And maybe it's just praying. I mean, who knows? But if you really feel in your heart of hearts that this is an alignment, it's time to take action. And it's time to take action from the inspired place, in spirit, inspired. It's time to take action from the inspired place within.

This is asking for the amount of money that you feel lit up by when it comes to this high proximity offer that you have to this high level of access to you. Now, number two could be if you are feeling as though you do not have enough value to give period, right? This can come back to the concept that you cannot transform you cannot transmit something that you haven't got. And so what that really looks like in real time is if we haven't made, if we haven't healed what it is that we are trying to heal for others, for example, this ends up looking like the blind leading the blind. And it's hard to sustain this path because

It's not sustainable. It's basically you're going to burn yourself out if you don't have the energy to give, right? If you're not in overflow, let's say, and yet you're trying to help other people get into overflow, it's not sustainable. It does not work. And so if that's where you're coming from, that's a different conversation that might look like again, you connecting to your higher self prioritizing that.

truly taking time each and every day to prioritize it, your spiritual growth. This is where your alignment comes in. This is where the perception change comes in. That change in perception from mind to soul is literally the lens in which I view the entire world. This is what changed my whole life. And I tend to work with people who desire that same perception.

For you, it might look a little different. You might use different words, but at the end of the day, if you haven't had that shift, if you have not had that energetic shift within, and you will know when you've had it, because you're going to have a change of heart. You're going to see things differently. You're going to think differently. Therefore, your emotional state is going to be different. You are not going to be piling up emotional baggage. You're going to be clear to connect. And then when you're able to do that, you're also going to be behaving differently right behaviors that you have are based off the emotions. And then when the behaviors are in alignment with your higher self because that's the the perception that you're basing your entire life. This is where your thoughts are beginning. Your thoughts are coming from soul as opposed to mind.

The results of your life are completely different. And now you have something to give. Now you have true evidence to show other people and to yourself as to why this is so valuable. Why working with you on this level is so unbelievably valuable. And this is actually not a hard thing to do, but it does take perseverance and it does take prioritization. And I will never stop preaching that because it's true. If you think that do do doing in your business and working on your business is going to get you further in your business than working on your spiritual growth, you have essentially made your business your God. Your your business has now taken over.

as the higher entity, as the higher power. You're now worshipping that and bowing down to that. And until you let go of the idea that that's where your freedom lies and that's where your liberation lies, and you actually go and try to find it in the one thing that could give it to you, which is your higher power,

you're going to be spinning your wheels. It's a very difficult place to be in. I've been there. I've watched other people be there. And this is why I feel so passionate about working with mentors and coaches and healers who either are just starting or have been doing it for years and have not just feel like it's not working because it always comes back to one. It always comes back to the basics. It comes back to the foundational pieces of spirituality. When you prioritize the spiritual Process and your spiritual growth the rest follows because that's your real self. That's your truth. That's your true path, right and Anything else that's real is gonna follow that So anything else that you desire is going to follow you being in alignment with your higher self and the desires that you are take action on are going to be coming from that deeper place within. And so you can know that you know that you know that you are on the right path when you follow that. But you have to be in alignment and you have to prioritize your spiritual growth. You've got to be taking action every single day to clear yourself out and connect.

And that is, of course, the stuff that I work on my you know with my clients. And so it's a holistic program of mentorship, just like it could be for you. It's like, I don't just have one methodology. Absolutely not. I do not just have one approach. Absolutely not. I coach the whole person. I have people come to me who want to build these businesses and yet have all of these other blockers in their life that are coming from the relationships, that are coming from finances, from things that have happened in the past. These things are blockers. They're things that need to be released and let go of so that they can connect with their higher selves, follow this essential path. And this is the path of least resistance. And when you're in that state of less resistance,

of least resistance you are going to allow all of the opportunities insights and inspirations that are available to you to flow in as opposed to cinching yourself off from that life force energy um that ultimately would be the value right that you would be giving to somebody in these high level high proximity containers and I think there was a third thing I went through Maybe you're feeling like you don't have the value. Maybe you're feeling like you just can't, even though you have invested in yourself at a high level. But then I think the third thing really was just going to be um something that I've already said before. And that is that you haven't, you just, you haven't invested in yourself at that level yet. And that could be creating the gap and the the block right there, not being able to ask for the thing that you have not been willing to um give.

That's a, that's a very sticky, crunchy place to be. Um, and it can be really stinky because you're like, I want it. I want it. But then you have all the reasons as to why you can't. And this is the belief, right? This is the belief that we have to change in order to be able to walk people through the exact same process of shifting a belief to be ready to invest in themselves at the level you're asking.

you have to be willing to do it for yourself as well. So I think that might be the third, you know, category is like, if you're feeling like you want to, but you can't because you have not invested in yourself, it's because you're lacking the experience of the process that you're asking somebody to undertake. And you would be right to be thinking that this is a big ask.

It is we don't take this lightly at all. This is a portal that you're asking other people to walk through. If you have not walked through that portal yourself, it's going to be impossible to hold them through it in integrity, right? It doesn't and and that's like the whole point of your business as well.

It's to always be authentic and to be in integrity with your higher self, with your soul. And this is what we're talking about being in alignment. This is why we do the work that we do. And when you do anything that's not out of alignment, you feel it. And so it might not be so much shame as it is just a lack of integrity and you know it and your intuition telling you like that's not, you haven't done that yet. I don't think you should do that.

Now, I'm not telling you not to do that. You can do whatever you want. And if it works for you, it works for you, and I'm happy for you. and But to me, for me, that would be me trying to skirt around the issue, and it would be me trying to get around, right? Try to get one over on life. And I can't do that anymore. I have to go through, I have to walk through the fire that I am um essentially asking the universe to lead other people through.

If I'm not willing to do that, I just don't feel for myself that it's sustainable for me to ask other people to do these things because at the end of the day, when I'm not completely aligned and I'm not walking in that alignment, I fall off the face of the earth.

which I haven't done in a really, really long time because I feel so in alignment and I do things in alignment. The second I don't though, my energy, it gets zapped because it's too hard. It's too hard for me to convince anybody of something that I have not done myself. And it's easy for me and I would say to convince but to lead somebody through something that I have been through for myself and that I have walked myself through probably with the help of another mentor.
