That's when they really get into lather and may have like serious questions between two guys that would require those analytics.

jarrod_dyke: Patience. All right, let's get into it. ah We got opening weekend. The first one listed is Newcastle and Bears, and I don't think we need to go too in depth on this, other than the fact that Newcastle, we're wistering the hell out of this thing.

jarrod_dyke: Like they, they got close at least a couple of times and put some serious pressure on. I think it was in the first half, um, especially, and they just, they couldn't get it over the damn line.
Grumpy Old Prop: it's gonna be a long No, it's gonna be a long year for them um Callum chick is no Kyle Hather ill Like yeah um Because we'll get to him but I feel like I mean that with seriousness Hather ill actually played like an eight game
jarrod_dyke: Yep.
jarrod_dyke: And that's saying a lot.
Grumpy Old Prop: Um, chick is just, he's a six. He's like a five and a half.
jarrod_dyke: and
Grumpy Old Prop: Like, let's be honest. He there's, there's two guys who should not have been playing eight who were playing eight this weekend. And chick was one.

Grumpy Old Prop: They're they're going to lead you get four or so chances to win. And that is when they play the bears, when they play Exeter, when they play Gloucester, when they play Leicester at home.

Grumpy Old Prop: at home this was one of those games and they they um kind of as you said they booted it yeah um which may happen but I don't know that's not a good lineup right
jarrod_dyke: Yep. Bar, bar them catching one of the big boys napping, which may happen, but I, I don't know. I don't, I don't believe it's going to happen as of right now. Let's put it that way.
Grumpy Old Prop: um And then the Bears like they took, they got five points. Okay. You know, that's, that's, they didn't play particularly well, but, but they got five points, which is, you know, you'd get that every game.
jarrod_dyke: No.
Grumpy Old Prop: I think you might make the playoffs.
jarrod_dyke: Generally speaking, that's what the and until the aim for is.
Grumpy Old Prop: Just right. And like, this is one of those, like on the other, on the other side, from what I was saying about Newcastle for Bristol, it was, Um, you know, that, that was, they needed five points out of this game.
Grumpy Old Prop: Like you at the end of the season, they're going to be happy. They got all five points, even if it looked a little shit, but it's also first week. This is, if if there's any week where it, for it to look clunky, it would be this week. And we saw that around the league.
jarrod_dyke: Right?
Grumpy Old Prop: So, um, yeah, there's a lot of teams didn't score four tries.

I was surprised by that. And then Raphael coming in for him, and then Raphael coming in for him, I thought was, was really smart.

Grumpy Old Prop: And I just I just watched the Tobias Elliott try and um ah Fergus put it out for I think it was daily who put him through Yeah, I set up the setup but a good pass maybe gave gave ah ah a really good platform for a second pass to a try square winger Yep Mm

jarrod_dyke: If so, and this, I was watching this and um as I'm watching, I'm like, the wheels are coming off here. And eventually that, that changed.
