We had some awesome college football games, some huge games today in the NFL as well. ah We're recording this on Sunday night, and so we're still a couple more to go. And all of a sudden, some things started changing around. ah Carson Beck seemed to settle in some. And all of a sudden, it became a game in the second half. And so ah Georgia came back.

Obviously, he even took the lead. near the end with a couple minutes left they went and scored pretty much right after that bama did and crossing back through interception to end the game so do we have any uh any reactions to this do you think this is going to i don't know the people i've heard talking about this game so far it's it kind of helps both teams in a way to have it play out the way it did because since it was so close I think if it's like a huge blowout, Bama, then Georgia just looks like a bad team. And Bama doesn't look as good. um Same way the other way, if Bama blows out, Georgia just looks horrible. but But since it was close, they both kind of look like pretty elite teams, probably up near the top of the rankings, both of them. It was on the road at Bama, and Bama won by a touchdown, so I think that's fair. um You really thought DeBoer was,

Yeah, i I think this shows that like any talk of Bama maybe falling off under the boar, I think we can say this is still going to be a top tier program.

i had I had my reservations, I didn't know if he was, if you and really it kind of came down the mill row. I didn't know if mill row would really fit into this offense. I heard someone say that he was one of the better deep ball throwers in the country going into the year, and I was a little surprised when I heard that.

And then I think I have, to say might be true. He's looked great. um And they've still been able to build a solid offensive and defensive line. So they still have you know that toughness to them to be able to do what Bama traditionally wants to do. I felt like they could run the ball when they wanted to, and they still got after the quarterback. um So I think this is good for the SEC. I think it shows that we do have two top tier teams.

I think even our bottom teams are. you know, a little bit better than what you would find at the bottom of the Big 10 or Big 12 or any of those other conferences. So I think it was just a good showcase of what the SEC has and how I really do think we're going to get six teams in the playoffs and it's going to be earned because it's just it's the toughest conference.

going into, like, yes, the ah the offenses look great, but what do you think about the the defenses on both sides of the ball? Like, I thought they looked bad. Both offenses threw up five hundred over 500 yards on each.

Yeah, maybe. It's always it's always hard to tell. I do think having having a competent quarterback and some pretty good wide receivers is kind of a there's so I thought there's so few like elite quarterbacks in the college game that having one that can throw a deep ball really elevates you above other teams pretty fast because I think on average

I think on average teams can go deep a lot, but but throws aren't aren't necessarily very good very often and it doesn't. I don't know. If you're used to watching the NFL, I think the margins are so small that perfect it takes a perfect pass to get it to where it needs to be.

Where in college there's a lot more margin of, as long as you're getting it in the right direction, if you're if you have a super fast wide receiver, you can sometimes get it over their heads, which um I think Jaylen Millrow, honestly, we'll talk about Ryan Williams a little more later, but if you know it was kind of a cheat code.

They got to regroup a little bit and they came back a little more prepared second half, but whatever Ben was doing, it really jacked up Georgia's defense.

I don't know if anyone wants to see that, but it would not shock me if Georgia Bama ended up being a three-time matchup this season.

So I think they are definitely not out of playoff contention there um That's a pretty big loss for them tens. We think about that one

Miami wins. ah There's some people out there who may say um ACC would really like for Miami team to stay undefeated because they're their best chance to make a playoff run.
