Everything Action Commentary: Thanksgiving (2023)

For the latest Everything Action Commentary, Zach, Chris, and special guest Justin celebrate Thanksgiving by watching Eli Roth's 2023 holiday slasher movie.
Originally a fake trailer from Grindhouse, Thanksgiving followed Machete and Hobo With a Shotgun to become a full film. Set in Plymouth, MA, a tragic accident during a Thanksgiving night sale riot at RightMart causes several deaths. One year later, people connected to the riot start to be gruesomely murdered by a killer in a John Carver mask and pilgrim costume. Jessica Wright (Nell Verlaque) and her friends seem to be the primary targets, and they try to figure out who the killer is before he can complete his horrific Thanksgiving dinner plan. While watching the movie, Zach, Chris, and Justin discuss the vast array of New England accents, the scenes brought over from the original fake trailer, the insane opening scene, the super creative and bloody kills, and more.
