And find the Plaza Pria de Kombuco. Yeah. Then Canantina. They call them mom and dad. They're the separated couple. They depart at 4.13.

and Terrence and Sarah are right behind him at 418 and when they're getting in their cab it's like an SUV with the back goes down the trunk yeah and it hits Terrence in the head and he gets so upset and it's so painful but oh my gosh he gets so upset. She's like what happened and he's like do you not see me bleeding and she's like No, because there isn't any blood on his head. And then yeah, he's like, clean this off for me. And he like gets a wet paper towel and like there's like the tiniest drop of blood. Yeah, he's like blow on it. And then he wears a band-aid like the whole rest of the leg. Yeah, right on the middle of his forehead.

And as they leave, like the first few teams get to the airport and go to a one of the airlines and they say that the next flight to Fortaleza is at 1130. And they're like, oh,

That's too long. That's way far away. And there was a lot of airport drama for them all ending up to be on the same slide. It wasn't even airport drama. It was one person. Yeah. So what happens is they go to this other airport or this other airline and they find out that there's a flight leaving at 645, but there's only one seat left.

So Nick and Star and Ken and Tina who are kind of in like a semi alliance yeah at this point. They are there at the counter and they say put us on standby but then the airline employee was like actually we switched to a larger aircraft. yeah I have never seen that happen before. I know.

And it's interesting, like at this point, there's 11 teams that need to make it on this flight plus plus their camera. So that's like 44 people. That's like 44 people. So it would have been a way bigger plane. Yeah. But I don't knowt know if they would have all even made it on the 11 something flight. I think the airline made a but a good decision by doing this. Yeah, they're like 44 seats that we can sell? Heck yeah, yeah let's do it.

But um Tina thinks that this was all her idea. She made it all happen. She was part of the whole process decision making. This was her. And she makes sure every single racer knows it was her and that they owe her. And that she well not she's like, you don't owe me or anything. but But she tells some of them, you owe me. Oh, does she? lady at the counter they're like we are checked in first and then they leave to go exchange money but then they come back and they go to the front of the line yeah because it doesn't seem like they have assigned seats right they are just seated by the way they get on the plane the plane like southwest which is disgusting okay southwest is actually assigning seats now and oh good yeah i i like southwest and i like that they do that there's actually it's like 50-50 on people that are happy that Southwest is now going to sign seats and people that are mad because um like when you have young kids, it's actually really nice to not have to pay extra to sit together. Yeah. And they do family boarding, so you always get a seat together if you are there on time. There's a lot of perks to it.

Okay. Like basically just says that they're not even like, yeah, you get in the front of the line.

And then the people behind her are like, no, no way. You left the line, all this stuff like that. And then Terence gets really heated and then Ken defends Tina. And it's just like this really tense situation. And um Tina says, we wouldn't even be getting on this plane if it wasn't for me.

um they're just like some things that people said when she was talking to Aja and Ty she was telling them um they met at like the ticket in the money exchange place and she told them just so you know there's a flight at 6 45 i got us a bigger plane so that we can all make it on there okay and they're like and she's like you owe me okay she tells them you owe me and they're like and okay well and she walks away she didn't get it for us. Yeah, she's acting like honestly would have been better for her if they were on standby and then they just let a few teams on. Yeah. So it didn't actually work out in her favor that they got a bigger your plane to let everybody on. They just got there five hours earlier. She seems to be really concerned about like,

And they head for the Cavs, but a bunch of the teams like run past like the arrivals area. So the teams that were so concerned about being in the front of the line, ye weren't paying attention and they ran to like international arrivals instead of departing the airport to the cab place. Yeah. So the people back got taxis first. Yes. So that was. Yeah. And Anthony, like they all find taxis. Anthony's like trying to push the taxi down the road so he can pop the clutch. I'm like, dude, just find another taxi. you know What are you doing? stuff Why would you even want to be in that one? Yeah. Even if he got going.

And he was like, they just need to learn how to fix cars here in Brazil. yeah Um, but Terence and Sarah end up arriving first at the next clue. And it says travel by dune buggy. What did they call it? I didn't Berg or Jay or someone like that. Oh, I i wrote it down. Boo gray, which is a dune buggy to Baraka de Manuel, uh, where a beach vendor will give them the next clue.

Yeah, um and then all the other teams start arriving. um They ride this dune buggy down the beach in the sand. It starts to rain and they don't have to do anything. They just have a ride in the back. Yeah, somebody's driving them. They get there and it's a detour clue and it says beach it or dock it.

not dock it, but dock it. yeah So beach it, they have to travel by dune buggy to the same beach and choose a traditional Brazilian boat called Junganda and a two-man crew, choose a two-man crew. Using traditional methods, they must maneuver heavy rolling logs to get the 440-pound vessel 100 yards across the sand into the water.

and then dock it is traveled by Bougré, Bouger, I don't know, to the port of Piquem to search for a container hidden in the shipyard. To do this, they'll choose a computer, scour the database for the same unique serial number listed on their clue. Once they've found the number, use the corresponding four-letter code to the section of the shipyard, to or to find the section of the shipyard where their container is located and the clue is inside.

Yeah, for some reason. even though it's like you don't know which one they chose. And that driver takes them to the... It should have been obvious that they were going to the beach. To the boat one. And they get out like wrong and like, Like, well, you do and didn't even you didn' ever ask if they were going to the same place or like you weren't even paying attention. So yeah, Mark and Bill are the only ones that go to the shipyard one. That's the one that I would have picked, I think.

Yeah, because um it's not that far away because you can still get there by dune buggy. So yeah. um Anyway, so all those teams are working on this. um It seems really hard and a lot of effort. Andrew, though, says we lift all the time. We won't pull a muscle. Yeah. and i' was like Cause they're not really the picture of frat bros. Yeah. When we think of Eric and Jeremy, yeah they were the frat bros that do look like they're lifting and stuff all the time. Yeah. These ones look very different. We're not judging their bodies or anything like that. They just look different than the frat boys in the past. And when we say frat boys, that's probably what you're imagining in your mind. Yeah. It's just kind of funny. Yeah.

he seems like they both seem like there brag they brag a lot and they I don't know we haven't got to know them very well yet but they're not my favorites but they're not the worst so no yeah we we need some time with them to yeah get to know them better Well um yeah so it's really a really difficult detour but the teams end up finishing it. Terence and Sarah are the first ones to finish it and their clue says locate the taxis nearby.

and choose one to take you to the Parque de Baquejada. i So there is a arrow, there's a red and yellow arrow that points to this parking lot above the beach where there's taxis already there waiting for them. But they leave the beach in the opposite direction.

And they keep saying like, oh, let's go up ahead. Let's go buy this. Let's go up this hill. Let's go to this village. Like they walk a long ways looking for a taxi. And the next team to finish immediately go to the arrow and get a taxi. It's Nick and Star and just get a taxi right away. And all the other teams start finishing and getting taxis, not having any trouble with it.

Except for Kelly and Christy. Yes. Who think they read the clue, part of the clue for the other detour task and where it says to find the unmarked container. Yeah. So they're like, where's our container? Where's our container? Where do we find the container? And they are like walking around and the people, they obviously can't like help them and be like, yeah there is no container.

And so they, there's a flag that marks the detours right here. They start digging around the flag. They start looking through the water. They start, like they are looking for this unmarked container. For a long time. For a long time. There's no other teams looking for an unmarked, there's no other teams digging through the sand. There are no other teams. And they keep saying that. They're like, is everybody just going to the taxis? Like, is everybody just skipping this part?

It's like if you were, if I was delayed for five minutes yeah with confusion, oh yeah I would reread the clue. yeah Reread the clue. What are you doing? Like what? So they keep just walking around and wandering around and digging and like just ask, where's yeah where is the unmarked container? And everybody's just leaving, getting in taxis and going. And finally they're like, let's just get in a taxi, I guess. And once they get in the taxi, they realize that it's part of the other detour, yeah that part of the clue that they thought they had to do. And it yeah, crazy. So,

You need to think about stuff like that. Yeah.

Which earlier on in the season is not a terrible idea if you're a far ahead of the group, but you know, just each situation is un unique. um Mark and Bill have also found their container. Did we say that? So they did it pretty easily. They had to, theyre it was a weird detour, but they did it pretty easily and it wasn't physical. No, just kind of like needle in a haystack type. yeah But not really because they're there was context clues on where it would be. Yeah. And so they're the first ones to arrive to the next clue, which is a roadblock. And the clue specifically says, once you arrive,

To accomplish this quickly, they must embrace the laid back Brazilian beach culture and resist the urge to be distracted by the numerous Portuguese ads surrounding it. Yeah, it was just, yeah, anyways, kind of confusing. And so Mark, his first strategy was he saw a lot of leavens, he chose the 11th location and it was wrong. So he goes back and he does the thing where he just writes down every single location on a piece of paper.

They were laying right next to each other though, and then Mark's backpack somehow ripped. Yeah, he was like, my bag ripped. Yeah, I think that slowed them down. Because I honestly thought Bill and Mark were going to be there first. yeah But then. That's not good. You're only on the second leg. and Your bag's broken. um So they're team number one. They went off-road vehicles, and Mark and Bill are team number two.

They're like standing on the mat together because they were like that close together. And so Ken says something like, um, this helps give us hope that we can save our marriage and hearing team number one, you know, is, is good. And so Mark and Bill are like, well, if it, if it's going to help save your marriage, then screw the ATVs or screw their off-road vehicles or whatever. So that was kind of nice.

um Yeah. They're like, we'll give up off-road vehicles if you guys are going to keep your marriage. Yeah. Basically. um So those first team 1 and team 2 are out of the way. um Nick and Star were the first team to leave the beach, but their driver is lost, yeah which is frustrating. And Star gets really frustrated, and Nick is very much like calming her down. Yeah. That's kind of been their dynamic the last couple episodes. He's, she doesn't ever go crazy.

and they get there and they don't tell their taxi driver to stay because they didn't read the clip and they find out right away like right after they Don't make him stay and they're like it says to tell your taxi driver to stay He's like already gone. Yeah, and like what are we gonna do? It's like well first we need to do the roadblock so yeah, so Chrissy does the roadblock yeah and um And then Anthony is the last one or Anthony and Stephanie are the last ones who arrive in Anthony's doing the roadblock. So the teams are kind of all just running around trying to figure out what it is and talking to the guy and giving him the wrong things. Some teams start figuring out that strategy of just like reading off all the names. And like this is one that annoys me is what some of the teams start

Sarah, they show up at some point and she's also doing the roadblock, but, and Nick wants to work together, but then she realizes that she just got there. He realizes she, that's what I meant. Sorry. Yeah. He like goes up to her. He's like, do you want to start working together? What do you have so far? She's like, well, I just got here and I saw this. He's like, all right, screw it. And like leaves her immediately. Yeah. So then he goes to work with Andrew.

So Kristy does finish the roadblock and they run out to the road and try to flag down a taxi because they do not have one. And they're having kind of a hard time and Andrew and Nick are working together and they're like, can we just, or Andrew says, can we just write all this down and read it off to the guy? And Nick's like, I think we have to like break things up. We have to cut it up somehow. Yeah. yeah So we can do that. Nick is overthinking it, I guess.

And so they know that they're like the last team and then of course they make it seem like it's really close at the end. So Andrew and Dan and Marissa and Brooke are really close.
