Hey, what's going on? our second live stream for great geeky reasons tonight we are live after the Hall of Each Panel at Marvel Kevin has been working so he has no idea what happened which is great and I get to spoil all of the shit to him live instead of one text I got from a friend like five minutes ago Okay, yeah, so I kind of figured the big one would be revealed to you. We'll get to that at the end. We're gonna do a little bit of the State of the Union. Not much, I didn't get a lot of notes on that, but talk a little bit Marvel DC, and also talk about a few things that were announced today at Comic Con, Saturday's show.

Uh, first off was a trailer for Dexter Original Sin. Did you see this? I think I sent it to you this morning. I did not. It's the intro to Dexter Original Sin. It's the new actors taking place of the old intro to the original Dexter series with Michael C Hall. Um, except Christian Slater's there with Dexter. They're getting ready instead of just Dexter getting ready, brushing his teeth and all that. Very cool. Um, also announced last night, Michael C Hall is returning to voiceover original sin and also returning for his own series, a sequel to new blood called resurrection coming out next summer. We'll have to see about that. Yep. Cause I, uh, spoiled today. The next season of house of the dragon.

Yep, I was spoiled today about about the end of New Blood. So I know, I'm not going to get into it now, because anybody who hasn't watched Dexter, I don't want to ruin ruin it for them, but it's going to be interesting to see how they play that out. um Yeah, he showed up as a surprise panelist at the panel last night. A couple of things I want to note before we get into the DC news. um Mortal Kombat 1 announced some DLC characters. They're going to be Scream from the Scream movies, Ghostface, Conan the Barbarian, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and EvilT1000 from Terminator 2 Judgment Day. um I know those these DLC characters are very popular. I know Terminator was the one one year, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Yeah, I was wondering about the game.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is one of the games that is not going to be having to worry about the the actor, the voice actor strike happening in Hollywood right now. um They are going to be able to continue making that game. It's going to come out as scheduled. A lot of other games are going to be delayed, but that is one of them that is not going to be affected by that. um Also, Simpsons Treehouse of Horror, the 35th installment of that is going to be doing a parody of Venom.

um and Saw a new poster. Saw a new poster for Everybody Still Hates Chris. The animated version of Everybody Hates Chris with Chris Rock, that Chris Rock did in the early 2000s. Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon. Dixon has been renewed for a third season. I am not caught up on the Walking Dead. I know you've caught up on some of it. Not seen any of the spin-offs. Okay, and then there's also going to be another one. I guess the new one is the Book of Carol. I have no idea about this stuff. I put it in there because I wasn't sure. Invincible is going to be a fourth season of that on Amazon Prime. And it's going to be a second season of of Sausage Party Futopia, which just debuted the first season in the beginning of the month. So yeah, I didn't watch that either. um So get into the DC News piece Peacemaker currently filming.

um One of the directors of Peacemaker posted on Instagram today, thanking the cast, in the cast name, Joel Kinnaman is listed on there too, thinking that he's part of this cast. um If you've seen the Suicide Squad that James Gunn did, he died. So I don't know how that's go to happenh back flashbacks because i think his dad's gonna Yeah, possible. You're right, possible. So we'll have to wait and see on that brand new trailer for Superman and Lois season for the final season um Superman fighting doomsday in space looks really cool that comes out on October 17th and Prime video next week on the first Cape Crusader Batman's coming out on Amazon Prime and they introduced us to the new penguin Oswalda couple pods to me a female penguin and That that season comes out on August 1st. I think 10 episodes ah We saw a new trailer for the penguin came out tonight ah September 19th. The show is going to be coming out um And it was also announced that Colin Farrell will be starring in Batman 2 coming back again um They had a activation they had this

Iceberg Lounge at the Comic Con where you go in there and drink, they get to drink minimum. They had this whole entire thing set up like the Iceberg Lounge from the Batman. It was almost like a speakeasy looking thing. I had some pictures under notes about it but it looked really, really cool. um but After that we got Harley Quinn season 5 coming in November.

Yep. Okay. But new season coming out on, uh, in November, uh, creature commandos brand new trailer. Looks great. Came out last night. Uh, comes out in December. No official date, but the time is coming out in December. Um, they announced a new logo for a DC studios that was announced yesterday. That'd be eighties and nineties. The classic style i ran from like 75 to 2005 or something. Yep. The one I always remember when I had comic books. Yep. Um, And kind of the state of the union for DC is, I mean, the big thing right now is Superman. That's the next big thing in the lexicon of DC movies. Um, will we finally see Brainiac in live action? What do you think? so think I hope so too. I think it's one of those characters. ah Right. I think it's one of those characters that everybody wants to see. I think we wanted to see it with Cavill for the longest time, but that's not going to happen.

And do you think this all is going to lead the DZUs and all are going to lead to a Justice League movie? Or is the Justice League already going to be together? I think that Brainiac's going to be introduced in Superman, but he's going to be a Justice League villain. That the whole overarching thing is going to be ah about Brainiac as the villain. At least that's what I hope. Because he's kind of too big, like obviously he's a Superman villain, but it'd be nice to see him against the entire Justice League. And I think that parts of the Justice League will be formed in this movie because they just created the whole of Justice. So hopefully we lead to Brainiac at some point.

whether it's just hints of him or actually seeing him in Superman or not. Yep. And the Marvel news. Let's start off. There's a lot of Marvel news. The whole each panel just ended an hour ago. So let's begin. We'll talk about the box office at Deadpool and Wolverine. mean It's going to be making $96 million dollars in its opening day. beating any R-rated movie before it, becoming a record, and sixth highest of all time of any movie. So that's pretty, pretty spectacular. It made the MCU, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, become the first film franchise to cross $30 billion dollars in the global box office. That's huge. um but the With a film franchise that's been around a little over 15 years, um that's pretty spectacular too, so. I'm seriously averaging a billion a movie, essentially.

Yeah Deadpool mentioned it when we recorded the podcast last night is in Disneyland and he has this thing where he has a story storybook with Deadpool I just wanted to mention this because I've seen the videos if you haven't seen them search them out on on online because There are a lot of sexual innuendos happening at Disneyland that I don't think people really know about because if they did, he would be out of Disneyland in pretty much yeah now. but um Also at Comic-Con, they released a new picture of, for art, of Deadpool and Wolverine exclusive to Comic-Con. I think that may have changed I'm not sure um The 1960s New York and an alternate universe was confirmed ah Matt Shackman says I love the Fantastic Four We want to be true to the comics, but we also want to be true to life so they talked to real scientists to get get ah ideas of of Physics and time travel and multiversal ideas so Pedro Pascal's Reed Richard in the trailer will be a Bill Nye the Science Guy type of host of a science show Ben Grimm is going to be in a dating show like a dating game type of show and a brand new title for this movie came out as well Fantastic Four First Steps Very weird title you're right how i feel about that

um Also confirmed that they're going to be having a fantastic car ah based off of an old style Cadillac with a Justin aesthetic and it flew into the Hall H it felt it flew right into the hall h panel. like me yeah jes and cell cars um And the Fantastic Four were announced to be in both of the Avengers movies. um So we got Russo's Brothers confirmed for Avengers 5 and 6 that was confirmed on stage um Avengers Secret Wars coming out May 2027 and and then the whole entire audience the whole entire room turned green and a whole bunch of Dr. Dooms came out and announced the next movie is gonna be called Avengers Doomsday changed from Kang Dynasty

I think The reason why we didn't get a whole slate, yes, because D23 is happening in about three weeks, ah two weeks, maybe. um And we're gonna get a ton of new stuff. They didn't have any of the TV stuff on here. and That's all all gonna be D23. Look at a full slate of the next two years up until Avengers Secret War, I think. And yeah, it's gonna be awesome. Full speculations on post-Secret Wars and even Secret Wars 2.

Um, after secret wars, I think we're gonna get the X-Men, um, OG comic team brought to the new sacred timeline is what I'm thinking. Um, Professor, at Professor X, B, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman, Angel, the original team from the very, very origin. Because Kevin Feige, he always goes back to the original comics when he brings these characters in, so I think that's where it's gonna begin. um I think... I think... I think we're gonna get a... Well, they're bringing Adam Antium in through ton yeah through through this. I think we're gonna get an origin of Wolverine through the MCU. Because we don't know the MCU's version of Wolverine, we haven't met him yet. um I think, for me, I think the show should be called, or the movie should be called Weapon X for his origin.

and maybe a limited series too or a special presentation who knows but that would be cool um but make this version of Logan an MCU exclusive like we don't know probably gonna bring in a new actor younger actor to play him who knows who it'll be but with James Gunn now at DC Are the past being set for an eventual Marvel versus DC epic crossover? Now, before this, we're obviously going to be getting Avengers versus X-Men. That wasn't announced, however, like you mentioned to me in text, there was a official social media, I think on X or Twitter, yeah of Avengers versus X-Men. But there was no nothing posted on there. the The movie wasn't announced. And I don't think it's going to come out before Secret Wars. It'll probably be way after that. so

Well, that's basically all I have. um It was kind of a short pin. It was an hour, but there was only three things that they really talked about. And then they talked about Avengers and did both Avengers movies very, very briefly at the end when they brought out Robert robert Downey. But um overall, I'm excited. I was very excited to see Robert Downey come out on stage. um If you've seen the video, go on Twitter and X and look up that video of Robert Downey coming out. It's very cool to see him ripping off the mask and just throwing his arms up like classic Tony Stark putting the sunglasses on. My favorite one of all time is going to be Andrew Garfield. That was great too. That was, wasn't he like in the crowd? He was in the audience asking a question. That was awesome. That was awesome. So I have a question for you then. Do you think it's a big deal that James Gunn did not go himself? I think they're going to do their own thing. I think they're going to do another DC fan dome because they're going to miss out on promoting the thing. This would have been a great promotion. They promoted it a little bit. They didn't do the full promotion. The Mercs sold out in half an hour. By day two, there was no more shirts left. They ordered more and they sold out again.

Because by the time next year's Comic Con happens, it'll be already out with Superman, unless they get the latest. I think they're going to use CinemaCon also for a big jumping off point, which he announces the start of the summer of Superman. I don't see it as a big deal, a lot of a certain fan base that needs to use some of this right here, some soap. they seem to um think it's a big deal me personally i do not think that a good deal there's plenty of Let's Superman let Superman come out creature commandos and I think you're right I think they're gonna have a huge presence the next year Even if Marvel marvel doesn't I think they will and they'll be like Marvel was was this year I think DC's will be next year for sure.
