So the first one I went and saw... I was super excited about it and I didn't think it was going to be a great movie. I want to be just, just an okay movie is what I wanted.

Wasn't a remake. It wasn't a reboot, but it was a continuation of the story. If you will. This little gem stars Madeline Klein, Chase Wonders, Jonah King, Sarah Pidgeon, and Tyreek Withers.

Now you're not going to know many of those names unless you're a huge movie buff, but the only one I want to focus in on is Tyreek Withers. He is coming out with a new movie from Jordan Peele called Him.

And if you know me at all, you know I love pretty much every one of the Jordan Peele films. So I'm excited to see that one. But let's focus on this one at the time being.

That part I liked a lot as soon as both of them came on the screen at different parts. Absolutely loved it. But then it just fell flat again and I couldn't wait for the credits to roll because I didn't care.

To get to the next movie I watched, I had to watch it pretty quick after I watched that thing in the theater that I saw. It was raining outside a little bit and I haven't seen Match Point in a little bit.

Now, the next one, I did go back to the theater. I did talk my buddy into going to ah movie with me. We saw the trailer before, and I was like, hey, do you want to go to a crazy movie with me? It'll be super late at night.

Maybe a little bit somewhere on YouTube. But this movie was absolutely insane and crazy all at the same time.

It's almost three hours long. Joaquin Phoenix is great. Him and Ari Aster, they're great together. I didn't much care for Bo is Afraid. A lot of people say that's a really good one. I sat through it.

Not my favorite. But Ari Aster has given us Midsommar and Hereditary. Those are all A24 films. This one's from a twenty four Those ones are super creepy, super out there.

It brought you right back into that time that we had to go through. This is exactly when this movie takes place. Like I said, it's Joaquin Phoenix and Pedro Pascal. And I know I said that I'm getting Pedro'd out, but these two together were absolutely phenomenal. I love the way they bantered with each other. They were bitter enemies. They were working for a goal. And I don't want to give too much of this movie away, but you have to see it.

Joaquin has a different view than Pedro does, and so they're clashing against each other, and the clash goes a little too far. That's pretty much all I'm going to say about it.

The first half of this movie, first hour at least, goes by real fast, and then all of a sudden there is a... ah switch and i think that switch happens when austin butler shows up and that's a austin butler is a pretty big name for the role that he played in this i really thought he was going to do a lot more in this movie but after his character showed up the movie just kind of flipped on its head and it went a crazy different route

Absolutely gorgeous movie. I loved it. As soon as the credits rolled, we kind of just looked at each other and went, what did we just watch?

And that's, that's a great feeling sitting in the theater with somebody, you know, if you're alone, you could talk to yourself too, like in your head. That's what I do sometimes, but it's nice to have a friend that does that and you kind of talk it out.

And you kind of remember how 2020 went for us and certain scenes that we didn't talk about that we wanted to discuss. And we're like, was it like that for you? Like, did you think this? This is definitely a movie that's going to make you talk.

Absolutely loved it. I will definitely see it again. i will probably purchase it because it was it was amazing. And those are the three that I watched, and I would gladly talk to you in person about them more so if you don't want to see them. But I encourage you to watch Matchpoint at home sometime when it's raining.
