If you are anything in the remote sense of a cinephile, you would know that that movie is was adapted from the Stephen King novel. They changed quite literally almost everything about the novel to make it in the 80s when they did because they couldn't do it.

That's really good that they tortured through the 80s to make it into some Arnold Schwarzenegger action packed movie that had almost nothing to do with the original storyline.

So I don't know. I had to go on that rant for half a second because it is not a remake to make more money. This is an entirely different film because it is a different film. It's original to the the the the the like the actual script that Stephen King wrote. He even said that he likes this adaptation better because it's closer to what he wanted to present to the readers.

But... i I don't know. I liked Total Recall when they remade it. it wasn't that bad. It wasn't great. It definitely didn't meet the the the realm of what the original one was. But that was also based on a book that they also made more close to the the actual original script and followed more closely to the storyline that was originally presented in that book.

So we did meet up. We had a guy's night. I actually, this was a PG 13 version of predator badlands. So I looked into it. All the blood and gore in it is alien or synthetic.

So there's no real red blood. All right. So knowing that, I was like, all right, I could probably take my son to this. I'll just explain like, hey, here's the trailer for this movie. Do you feel like this is something you could do And he agreed. And so we went.

Okay. So they spent, I think, two days doing that scene. And the very first day they got her all strapped up, set in, and he's she's really actually strapped into his back, like literally strapped in.

And she said... At one point, they, you know, they they did a couple of scenes and then like, all right, we've been doing this for a while. Let's take a break. Let's undo. Let's undo the the straps. Let's do undo all that stuff.

And then we'll come back in like 20 or 30 or whatever and reset up. And he and the both of them were like, no, let's just stay hooked up.

So she said for the better part of an entire day, they basically would take turns on stools. So the one would be sitting and the other one i would have a stool to put their feet up and they would just take turns taking the weight off of each other, taking the brakes rather than to undo all of that, that mechanism.
