Welcome back everyone to the popcorn podcast. I'm Tommy Cressa alongside of my coz Ryan Fran. Today we heard like to talk about HBO's new show, The Penguin starring Colin Farrell. I know it's been a while, but you can't mess up that early. I know that early. were we're No, we're not restarting. Fuck that. Um, but yeah, it's been a little bit since we've done an episode, but now we're going to be back in the swing things because now we're going to have weekly episodes again with The Penguin. Yeah. i mean Whatever movies come out, because it's kind of been slow right now with movies. Yeah. I hope this show's good, dude. I mean, we'll we'll talk about it. Yeah. But that first episode was very mad for me. I didn't love it. I didn't hate it at all. But, um you know. Like, it's like a good first episode. Yeah, decent. Well, so we're going to be talking about that. And then I guess we should talk about some film news, because we really haven't talked about it in a while. but Yeah, there's a bunch. We should go pull some Rotten Tomatoes. Ooh. Yeah, you do that.

But at the same time, I think if you want to do the world like he wants to do, we're like you want to keep it grounded. But with a level of fantasy stuff to it, I think that's a pretty good feeling. Yeah, it's not totally out there. I really want them. I hope it's the quarter of Alice. I hope that's what the final is like that. Yeah, if anything, that'll be the the finale. That'll be the third. but The Joker's guys. you Where does he come into play? Yeah, I guess so. I don't know. We all know Ryan's opinions on Barry Keogan's Joker. I'm sure he'll do it, have a great performance. OZR from the start begins to collect dirt, find the dirt that Falcon has on people so he can kind of still keep working and working his way up while being able to use the judiciary system to his advantage.

And like, when people talk about like gangsters, like, especially like old time, Italian gangs, like those people helped their neighborhoods. Yeah, you're violent people. Honestly, I've been playing video games a lot recently. I want to recommend Far Cry Primal. Just played it. it's not like I'm not going to say it's a fantastic game. But it's very fun, and it's a good change. like I love the Far Cry games because they're just fun. like They're never like fantastic, but they're fun. um This one was fun in a different way. It's a very different Far Cry game because there's no guns in it. like Nighttime is actually a different game because all the predators come out at night, and it's harder to actually survive. It's more of like a hunting that game than it is just killing people, but killing people is also really fun.
