Welcome back everyone to a little solo episode of Popcorn Podcast. I'm Tommy Carista, as much as any of you know who's listened to the show this whole time. And this is just me, in this episode, and this is just us taking a quick second to talk about the future of the show, what we have coming up, and some other fun things that we got going on in the future. I'm gonna be doing a solo episode reviewing the one though actually might do this with Ryan is that we're gonna be reviewing a 24 is new film heretic starting new grant. We're gonna be reviewing Sean Baker's new film critic adored a Nora. We got coming up soon. They kind of got rid of that. Oh, we got wicked coming out. We got red one Moana to gladiator to Y2K, the new general film, which I think is really, really good. um We also have, that's really it for now. But we also have our penguin episode, which will be coming out in the next couple of days. And yeah, those are some of the reviews we have coming up soon. I think I'm gonna try and get more into the solo style stuff that I was also doing in the past, which is watching things, reviewing them, ranking them. ah I'm probably gonna do a Star Wars rewatch thing we do.

oh Now to the main part of this episode, and I was talking about some new ventures that we're going into right now. ah Currently working on a feature film script for a horror movie, which has some studio interest, which is super exciting. And we've actually now started a Twitch count channel. It's the underscore popcorn underscore pod. think I think it might change to just the popcorn studios. It just works a little bit better. It has a better ring to it.

ah We now just play some games on there, talk, chat, just want to invite everyone to come hang out, watch us play some through some games, some story games, horror sports, anything you can think of, we're probably going to play it. But I do need your guys help on that side of things, too. I need you guys to come let me know what you want to play. I would love to do some playing with fans stuff. but Yeah, so please go check us out on Twitch. It's a lot of fun. I'm doing this ah road to glory story mode right now, which is a lot of fun.

ah Me and Connor are playing. You've met Connor here. We're doing some sports game modes, which is a lot of fun, which is a lot of different contents can be coming out. I think it's going to help us broaden our horizons and who can watch us because when you're doing a film stuff, only people that watch film are going to want to watch your videos. But now that we have these clips and gaming stuff, it definitely helps us broaden our audience and meet some new people, which I think is the main point of all this.
Improving Show Quality

And with all that said, I think moving forward, the show is going to definitely improve. I think we're going to take more time. We're gonna be more, go back to how it was probably like a year ago. I think the last year we were good. We weren't as good as we were. And I would like to fix that because I feel like the people who have stuck by us and listen to the show all these years have done so much for me and Ryan. And I think it's, we owe that to you guys. So I promise that this,

from now to through 2025 and 2026. The show will improve. Now if things change on the horizon of when we can do it, how much we can do it, then we'll let you guys know. But we don't want to be so out there anymore of how everyone's why we just don't post. I don't want to be like that won't be straightforward. with You guys, if we're not going to post during the week, we'll make a post about it. But we're going to try and be much more upfront with all of you. And we hope that at least more success and sets us on a better schedule. So we are going to try and set up more of a scheduled episode release.

And I'm gonna be trying to do the VOD stuff, of just playing games, streaming, talking, doing some comedy, having fun. I'm gonna be trying to do that as much as I can. Just the last couple weeks, it come to my mind that i I need to put more into this. This is something that people have really done a lot for me, and you guys especially have done so much for me. And this show has done nothing but help me in my life. It has done nothing but help me mentally, physically. It's changed a lot of the things about myself, helped me with my own problems.

And now I'm at a great point in my life. I i have my girlfriend, I have my family, my friends, and I just want everything. I have all this time now with the workers comp stuff and being hurt. I have all this time that I can now figure everything out and really put my best foot forward in all those stages. Doing good in school, all these kind of things. So I want, I just want to do a short episode and kind of talk about that.

But yeah, I guess I have to leave you guys with a recommendation or something for you guys to watch because I didn't really talk about much film today. So I think if you're going to take time, I'll give a TV show and I'll give a couple of films. You're going to want to start a new TV show, do the Wonder Years, the original, not the remake. ah For a horror film, I think you should go watch Oddity, the new horror film from this year, really good. You want to watch a comedy, go watch Pineapple Express.

gonna watch a romance movie go watch the new phil Florence Pugh Andrew Garfield we live in time. ah If you want a great drama go watch the Godfather part two. And go watch the main Spiderman because I just rewatched ah both of them the other day. I love them.
