Sneak Peek into the New Superman Film

of my hosts as well. Ryan is not here because I want to do a quick review because we just got a sneak peek of Superman, the first film that DCU under James Gunn. It comes out July 11th. Make sure this is a little lower.

But yeah, it comes out July 11th, and we just got 4 minute and 25 second look, which included a full scene, scenes, multiple, and then a trailer. It was pretty much the repeat of the other trail but they added some dialogue in it that you could understand a little bit more.

But it was really exciting to get something out of this a little bit more, and i just I'm very excited to talk about it. And we're just going to quickly run through all the news, and then tomorrow there's actually an episode coming out of the review of The Woman in the Yard.

It's and my brother, actually, having another family member on the show. ah But before that, I want to go through the news that we got. And then, well, first and foremost, let's go through Superman trailer.
Excitement Over Superman Trailer Highlights

So, again, if you haven't seen the trailer, please go watch it. Then come back and listen to my opinions on it. The trailer was fantastic. I thought it was great. It didn't give away too much. It was late just one scene.

um Two scenes, I guess. but one One sequence is what we're watching. And it was really cool. it You got to see the Fortune of Solitude. You got to see even more Crypto. It was the sequence in which the trailer, when he crash lands, he's asking Crypto to take him home.

It's really cool. I like how they're doing Crypto here. They're not making it too dark. I was actually a Snyder fan of the Just League movies. But this is what I wanted out Superman. I want Superman to feel like hope and to feel like the American, like, how do I word this?

I want Superman to feel like he could be any one of us and he doesn't feel like some god, which he is because he, I mean, he's bulletproof. He can shoot lasers of his eye, all these things.

And I love that we got to see the Forge title. I loved that we got to see the powers. We got to see how the sun does affect them. And they do. The key word in this is that they say a yellow sun. So that means that we could get the other suns and the effects that they have on him.

Because there is a red sun. Red sun does have an effect on Superman. But nonetheless, not important. But we got a great look at that. We got to see his helpers, his robot friends. And it was cool to see them. And thought CJ did I look pretty good. I definitely don't think it's...

fully finished yet. I think that they're definitely cleaning things up, but it still looked really great. The Fortress Solitude is insane. i love how they designed it. I think David Cornswit is going to be a perfect Superman. I'm really, really, really excited to see where he goes after now being Superman, how he just shoots the stardom.

But yeah, i I am so excited. I think this trailer is fantastic. like ah We got, as I said, then it pretty much just replays the other trailer, the original trailer, but we get more dialogue in it. Like we see when Nicholas Holt turns around to SingSerman, you actually hear him say he's back. So I'm guessing that takes place after the sun.

But it cool to see how the sun does affect him and he gets his powers back, he's healing. But um I'm all in. I'm kind of excited to see him, like how he gets so, so beaten up. Being the Man of Steel.

But it was... It was a really cool trailer. Everyone should definitely go check it out. James Gunn dropped it on Instagram. and Now it's all over YouTube, of course. And, um... Yeah, I thought it was fantastic. I think that this cast is going to be perfect.

I think James Gunn has really brought something magical to the screen here. And I'm so excited to see it. July 11th cannot come fast enough. Well, it can because my girlfriend goes down in May for school.

So, that does kind of suck. But, Superman will be there make him feel a little bit better about it. And... Yeah, the trailer was fantastic. I thought it was perfect. And I'm very excited to see what else we get before it comes out.

Avengers Doomsday Filming Announcement

As of 22 minutes ago at CinemaCon, Avengers Doomsday officially starts filming in just a few days. Super exciting. The cast of the Thunderbolts ah make a fashionably late and unhinged entrance to CinemaCon.

CinemaCon right now is going off. ah Deliver Me From Now, From Nowhere. It's very exciting. we got That's the Bruce ah bruce Springsteen biopic. the jeremy allen like Jeremy Allen White and Jeremy Strong took the stage to talk about the film.

ah We got more info about Elle Fanning ah and the Predator Badlands movie. And she talked about how this expands upon the universe. And we get to learn more about the Predator and all of that.

ah There's an upcoming Avatar film officially titled The Legends of Aang, The Last Airbender. In big, big, big, big news everyone. We got the first trailer for the Disney Plus series of Phineas and Ferb.

It's back. It's back. if There's another 104 days of summer vacation. ah This debuts on June 6th on Disney+. plus Super excited about that. We got another the trailer for The Accountant 2 starring Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal.

I just saw this in the theaters earlier, and I i really think this is going to be a really fun movie. I think the first one's pretty awesome, and this one seems like they're really diving into... The maybe non-action parts of this, like maybe the detective side of the story a little bit more, and the espionage and all that, so I'm really excited. I cannot wait.

But Jack Black and Jason Momoa's committed performances are entertaining. So maybe maybe it won't be horrible. I think it's still going to be terrible. ah We got our first teaser trailer for Five Nights at Frase 2 starring Josh Hutcherson.

I really liked the first one, so i'm I'm excited to see what they do with this one. I think the practical effects are insane in these projects in this project, and I'm really excited to see what's next. How Train and Dragon 2 live action has already been announced, even though we haven't even seen the first one yet. it hasn't come out yet, but the trailer looked fantastic, and it is a shot-for-shot remake, so I think it's going very hard to mess it up.

We got new poster for Alien Earth. It was really cool. It was like a carton of eggs, and then the one egg in the middle is the alien egg. Really big fan of that. i think that film has great marketing around it. ah We officially got news that Spider-Man um Across the Spider-Verse Part 2 will be coming out in 2026, I believe.

I think Effie's one of the best characters in the series, and I think there's a lot to tell, and it is another prequel, and they said her and Cesar Flickrmer two the main characters, so it's cool to see the non-violent side of the games.

um Oh, we got a new trailer for Bring Her Back, the new Danny and Michael Filippo horror film, the guys who may talk to me. And it looks terrifying. I just saw it in the trailers. I just saw it in theaters as well.

And I'm very, very excited. I think these two are unbelievable filmmakers. They showed that just with their YouTube side of it. and i think people don't understand that YouTubers, they they can make filmmaking. A lot of them, to the ones who do like sketch comedy and stuff, these guys are filmmakers.

One, what is, I want to get the date right. Okay, I don't have a date. Okay, 20th anniversary, Revenge of the Sith is back in theaters this month. I will be going to see it and I will be talking about how it felt to go back and see this film. A film I saw in theaters when I was five years old and now, to now, it's pretty cool that going to be able to go back and see it again.

And the last bit of news is about the Beatles for film picture by Sam Mendes. It's absolutely insane. They're all going to come out in one month. They're all going to release in April of 2028. That is a long time away.

But let me run through the crest. Harry Dickinson as John Lennon. Paul Meskell as Paul McCartney. Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr. And Joseph Quinn as George Harrison. That is an amazing cast of four of the best young actors working currently.

And funny enough. think they all have a movie coming out this year. Baby Girl. ah Hurry Up Tomorrow. Barak Hogan. Joseph Quinn is Fantastic Four and Warfare. And I don't think Paul Meskel has a film coming out this year. I would have to check, but I'm 99% sure he will have a film film coming out this year. He's Paul Meskel.

Spider-Man 4: Brand New Day Announcement

Lastly. forgot about this. Spider-Man 4 officially has its title and its official release date when it will release in theaters, and that is July 31st of 2026. That is very close. I thought they were going to say 2027. They did say 2026, but the official name is Spider-Man Brand New Day, which is a very famous Spider-Man comic. It is much more grounded, and I am super excited to see a more street-level Spider-Man, not this multi-universe massive Avengers character. It's going cool to see him do
