and I want to encourage you to stay steadfast in the Lord. So many things are coming, so many things are happening. It's a clear reality that we're living in an increasingly fallen world and that because of that, there is so much sin and evil and wickedness that is overtaking mankind in this world today. And unfortunately, we find it also encroaching upon the church itself.

And if we're not careful, we will find ourselves

falling to the temptations of this world into the deception of the adversary. We've got to do more than just hold on for our personal sake. We have to hold on to the very truth of God. We see all manner of false thinking coming into the church. The
Unchanging Standards of Faith

integrity of the church itself is slowly corrupted or being corrupted, but the true church

will always be under spiritual attack, but the true church will stand for God and never fail. And this thinking that the church must evolve with the cultural norms of society in itself is a false concept because the Lord is the same today, yesterday, and forevermore. He does not change. The Lord does not change.

We must also understand that his standards, his ways, his thinking also does not change. Amen. Our desire must be to hold on and never be shaken by the circumstances. So we must never allow the average server to bring in instability. Trials are going to come. Trouble is going to happen. But the reality is that we as God's people must respond with a determined stand, refusing to be

move. There is a truth of God's Word that is uncompromising. And even though the world will come up with its ideas, we understand that the mind itself is deceitful. Praise the Lord, but the Word of God is uncorrupted.

And so therefore we must stand on that. It seems like this state of the church in the world today, the world church today, is to shift from a sense of God worship to a sense of false faith. In other words, that it is such a faith that does not even require God. And the strength
Aligning with God's Desires

of it, the power of it is solely dependent upon the belief of the person that if they believe that they can control

God and His desires, that if we fast enough, if we pray enough, if we shout enough, that we can change God to comply with our desires. And the reality is that this whole life and the whole basis of this life is simply for us to work on conforming to His desires.

and his will because ultimately it's not about this life. Ultimately it is about the life to come and we should be preparing ourselves therefore and to live in eternity with God and with Christ as our King in the new Jerusalem that's coming. This
Avoiding Self-Serving Faith Interpretations

sense of faith movement is something we have to be very careful of because they will even take scriptures

and take them out of context. For instance, in Romans 4 and 17, they will twist that to say that they can speak things which are not.

as if they were so. But I would encourage you to read the Word. The Word of God clearly defines that God says He speaks those things which are not as though they were. And so man wanting to take on Godness has placed himself and put himself in that same sense and in that same stature. And the reality is He is not God, that we serve God.

that He is our Savior, He is our Lord, He is our Redeemer, He is the salvation of our souls. And so this is a really good time for us to remind ourselves that if we intend to make it into the kingdom, that we must allow, we must not allow the attacks on truth.
Staying True to Belief Amid Cultural Pressure

to shake us we cannot conform to it i don't care what culture you're aligning yourself with or what group you're aligning yourself with i want to encourage you today to align yourself with god's people with the true people of god that people of the book the people that follow the bible because he's proven to us that he's a keeper and that if we don't let the circumstances shake us he will hold us in that standard the time is coming

We're not far from it, where the fiery darts will be flying. Praise the Lord. And those who are weak in their devotion to God will succumb to it, to the shame, to the demagoguery, to the intimidation, and they will take down on God's word. And I want you to be counted in a number that holds fast and does not.

Importance of Steadfast Faith and Christ's Return

Now we beseech you brethren by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto him that ye be not soon shaken in mine or be troubled neither by spirit nor by word nor by letter as from us.

as that the day of Christ is at hand. So not only does Paul tell the church not to be shaken, he gives them a reason not to be shaken. Beloved, Jesus is soon to come. I don't know the day nor the hour. I have no perspective of the timing. Praise the Lord, I do know it can't possibly be long because the signs are foretelling it.

Jesus is surely on his way. And so because it's on his way, this is not a time to be shaken. This is not a time to allow things within the church, out of the church,

to cause us to take down on the truth of God. Will you hold fast? Hold fast to God. Hold fast to his real word. Don't be shaken, because you want attachments with worldly groups, but hold on to the group of God. God bless you, and certainly it is our prayer that God will strengthen you in these last days. Know this, that God loves you, and we love you also. Grace and peace be unto you.
