The Unstable World and Seeking Stability

Very shortly, we just want to talk to you about what

God wants you to know. We have such changing times now and it quote-unquote seems to be a no solid foundation anywhere. There seems to be no place stable. Everything seems to be fluid and that means that situations and ideas and plans and people are not fixed. They're likely to change from day to day and it seems like

that you can't count on anything in this world today. It's such a chaotic world. Amen.
Finding Stability in Jesus Christ

But I want to encourage you tonight, listener, brother, sister, to know that there is still a solid foundation that exists today. In our time, there is still a solid foundation, and that foundation is found

in Jesus Christ. God is our eternal creator. He's created everything that we know. And yes, God is the giver and the sustainer of life. God, He sent Jesus Christ to die for sin.
The Gift of Salvation and Eternal Life

And Jesus Christ is the only way that we can get to the Father.

And so we thank God for Him. So, dear listener or brother or sister, there are some things that God wants you to know. One of those things, and the very first thing I have here is that He loves you. John 3 and 16 tells us,

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved." So God had such a love for us

that He sent Jesus Christ to die for our sins. What a mighty God we serve. So God wants to know each and every one of us. He wants to know us in a real way, and He's not a figment of someone's imagination, something somebody came up with.

He is God and He is real and He has a standard for our lives, for your life. He has a standard if we will just submit to it. God has a way and He looks for those whom He loves to come to Him, to show Him that love. In His desire to have us come to Him, to have an intimate relationship with Him, He reveals Himself to us

through Jesus Christ. And it is because of his love for you. Yes, you, my dear brother or sister, that our father does not want to see anyone perish. He doesn't want to see anyone die. Although it is a sure fact that those who are outside of his will, amen, will not be able to live with him in eternity.
Faith and Pleasing God

But we want to be those people who live with him in eternity. You must believe in him

through Jesus Christ. Hebrews 11 and 6 says, but without faith it is impossible to please Him. So you've got to believe in Him. It says, for He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Yes, yes, yes, you must believe in Him to please Him. That faith you have in Him pleases Him.

Amen. We walk by faith and not by sight. So though we have not seen God at any time, we believe that He is, and we believe that He will reward those that seek Him.
Jesus' Unique Offer of Rest and Freedom

The second thing God wants you to know is that you don't have to carry the heavy burden of sin. Sin is a heavy burden.

Amen. It is something that will keep us from God. Matthew 11, 27 to 29 says, all things are delivered unto me of my Father. This is Christ.

And no man knoweth the Son but the Father. Neither knoweth any man the Father save the Son. And he to whosoever the Son will reveal him. Jesus will reveal God to us. But you must come unto me, he says, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you, he says, and learn of me. We must learn of Christ. He said in the Great Commission, teach them whatsoever I have told you. Amen. So we must learn of him, he says, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest.

for your souls. Our souls were sinned sick before Him, but we find rest in Him." Isn't it a blessing to know that we don't have to die in our sin? Isn't it a blessing to know that Christ is looking for us? Amen. So sin separates us from the Father, but it is possible to be free through Jesus Christ. What a blessing.

Of all the thousands of religions that there are in the world, there is only one Lord whose tomb is still empty. Amen. Only one man who conquered death, hell, and the grave for us, and only one Savior who is the way to the kingdom of God, and that is Jesus.

It's such a blessing to know that God loves us so much that he gave us a way out of a life of sin and degradation.

In Him we find rest for our souls. You may wonder how you can achieve this rest. People say it all the time, I'm only human. He was God, but He has given us everything that we need. I would have you to know that the answer to every one of your questions is found in the Word of God.

The answers you seek are not in the world, but they are in the word of God. Number three, the third thing I want you to know that God wants you to know is that He will give you a new heart.
A New Heart and Sincere Living for God

He will give you a new heart and you are to give your heart to Him. Romans 10, 8-10 says, but what sayeth it? The word is nigh thee even in thy mouth,

and in thy heart that is the word of faith which we preach we preach have faith in God walk by faith that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead

Thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Amen. Yes. Yes.

Believe in your heart that Christ died for you. Believe in your heart He shed blood for you. In this world today, people will talk about God and refuse to live for God. And we want to be those that live for Him. And we don't have to figure that out because He's left us a record of Him. Amen. They talk about God but refuse to live for God and their heart is far from Him.

They believe that saying you're spiritual is all that is required because everybody dies and goes to heaven. But this is not true. Amen. Amen. He wants you to go, but it's your choice whether you go or not. Amen. Again, don't believe these people who say that because God wants your heart. So give your heart to Him. He knows just what to do with it.

Christ said that these people come near to Him only with their mouth. They honor Him only with their lips, but their hearts are far from Him. They worship Him in vain, He says, because they teach a belief system that is founded by men and not

from God. Amen. He says that following those who are doing those things blindly will cause you to fall and be lost as well.

So don't give your heart to them or to that. Seek God and you will find his way. It's not a mystery.
Genuine Seeking and God's Peaceful Plans

Amen. It is not a mystery. He left us a record in the Bible, in his word. So we want to make sure that we are following his way. I encourage you, dear listener, brother, sister, God loves you.

and wants to dwell in your heart. Jesus is still today calling his disciples to follow him, to show their love to him by following him. God wants you to know that he is the same yesterday, today, and forever. What he said is what he meant, and it is still going today, what God has said. I want to leave you with one scripture.

It is in Jeremiah, the 29th chapter, verse 11, starting at 11, ending at 14a. It says, for I know the thoughts that I think toward you. This is God, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil.

to give you an expected end. He wants you to end up in the kingdom with him. That is what is expected when we live our lives for him. It says, then shall you call upon me and you shall go and pray unto me and I will hearken

unto you. He is looking to listen for you. And ye shall seek me and find me when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord Jesus." God wants you to know for sure that the path you follow is one that will lead toward him. Make sure you are on that solid foundation, which is Christ.
