God's Loving Plans for Us

Have you ever wondered what God's desire for you is? Well, you know, God is our father. Yes, he is your father as well. And just as our earthly father is ah was there for us and because we came forth from our earthly father, God is our eternal creator of all that are living.

And all that we know on this earth. So he is our father. He's our loving father. And do you know that he has plans for you? Plans for you.

I just want to ah remind you of God's desire for you. Have you ever wondered what God's desire for you is Well, you know, God is our Father.

Yes, He is your Father as well. And just as our earthly Father is ah was there for us and because we came forth from our earthly Father, God is our eternal creator of all that are living and all that we know on this earth. So He is our Father.

He's our loving Father. And do you know that He has plans for you? Plans for you. Out of all these people on the earth, God has plans for his people.
Peace Amid Chaos Through God's Plan

Jeremiah, the 29th chapter and the verse 11 and 12 tells us, it says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord. This is what the Lord is saying.

He says he has thoughts of peace. So God has plans. to give you an expected in then shall ye call up on me and ye shall go and pray unto me he said and i will hearken unto you so god has plans for your life.

He did not place us in this earth just to wander around and wonder what to do next. He has plans for us. And if we want to be, ah if we are his children, truly his children, then we will want to know what his desire for us is.

Isn't it amazing that this true king, this loving God has made it known what he desires for his children. He has made that known.

Your eternal father desires and has desires for your life. So when we look at the chaos and confusion that is in the world,

It is a blessing that God wants to give us a place of peace in the midst of all these storms of life. It's a blessing to know that this royal ruler, this sovereign savior, this Lord of Lords has plans for your life.
Personal Relationship with God

Do you know that when you were created, and I'm speaking to you, listener, wherever you may be listening, you were created to have a relationship with God.

And we won't really be satisfied apart from the love of God. In the beginning, God created man to be a companion to himself. And it's not like some of the abominable relationships of the world that we see today, but it is one of shared dominion, one of a creator and creation, one of a loving father and his child.

He wants us to know him in a very personal and intimate way. He wants us to understand and know his will. He wants you to know his will.
Walking in Love and Light

He says in Ephesians 5, 13 through 17, this is the fifth chapter of Ephesians, and it starts out by saying to us, Be ye therefore followers of God as dealt dear children, and walk in love as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling Savior.

But beloved, I want you to know we must repent of our transgressions. As we see in verses three through five, it mentions some transgressions, those things that are against God.

We have to have a change of mind about how we relate to God. And we must accept this great gift that he's given us in order for us to come close to him.

We have to walk in the light of Christ. Light is something that illuminates. It opens up It shows truth. It dispels the darkness. And Christ is that light.

So we must have a relationship with him. And God desires for us to have that relationship to him. Christ gave us ah just a couple of just a couple of really simple rules.

What did he tell his disciples? It's very, very simple. Simply follow me. And this is what he desires of us. Verse 13 says, but all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light.

For whatsoever doth make manifest is light. And that is Christ. He said, wherefore, said, awake thou that sleep it and arise from the dead and Christ shall give thee light.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise. Redeem the time because the days are evil. And this is the day that we are living in.

Verse 17 is our clue. Wherefore, be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is It is of utmost importance that you, as a listener tonight, know what God's will is for you.
Knowing and Doing God's Will

Because at the end of this age, at the end of it all, it will have eternal ramifications. As we will see in the scripture in Matthew 7 and 21, it says, Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.

but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. It's not a secret. You can know the will of God for you.

All you must do is ask. God not only desires for you to know his will, but he also, because of his love, desires to bless you.

We must understand that God's blessings are because of his love. There's nothing we can do to deserve God's blessings or to earn God's blessings.
Blessings from God's Love

There's nothing we can do as people to obtain them. Not like some preachers are telling us today.

If you just shout, if you just praise him, if you just do all these things, you can be blessed and have the blessings of God. They don't come for that reason. They come simply because God loves you and he has a desire to do you well.

Amen. there are only things There are only things that we can do to repel God's blessings. God's blessings will abide with us as we do his will.

And it's all because of his love. When we are outside of God's will, then we do repel the blessings of God in our lives. Deuteronomy 11, 26 to 28 says, God tells Israel, who are his people yesterday, today, and forever.
Choices Between Blessings and Curses

It's your choice. 26 verse says this, Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse, a blessing if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day. This is what Moses was telling them.

And a curse if you will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day. to go after other gods which ye have not known.

So yes, you can repel the blessings of God by choosing to follow your own way. It is God's desire that you choose to follow him and his commandments, his direction for your life, his will.

There are many who say they love the Lord and that God is, and that's a good foundation. That's a good foundation. God, I love the Lord. And because God is love, therefore he loves us with an everlasting love.

And if we love him in return, we will forsake even our own selves, even our own desires. And we will prove that we love him by keeping his word.

It isn't clear. It isn't that clear to many, but many won't deny themselves to love and follow him. That's what people are in the world today. They love themselves.

The word tells us in this day, many would be lovers of themselves rather than lovers of God. is that you today? i pray that it is not.

I pray that you love God more than you even love yourself. This is the will of God for us and for your life today.
Following God's Will and Wisdom

Are you willing to look into the word of God and see that God's will is what you are following?

Are you willing to do the simple follow me? Amen. I encourage you, dear listener, to ask the Lord. He said in his word that if you lack wisdom, if any man lacks wisdom, he should ask it of him, of God. You should ask that of God and he will give it to you.
