In fact, our greatest is comfort is the revelation in scripture of the harvest of the saints. There's going to be a rapture. And I know that's not necessarily a translated word in the King James version, but the the Bible does talk about being caught up and being caught up if we trace it back.
00:00:20
Speaker
The Latin word rapeo means is where we get our word rapture. So it is really there. There is gonna be a catching away. are We're going to be snatched up.

to be with the God. And so the essential aspect of these three end time feasts is that they remind us that Jesus is coming back for us. There are over 7,000 promises in Scripture, none as critically as important as the promise that he will return for us.
00:00:50
Speaker
He will return to gather his people together. His resurrection is a promise that brings hope of our own resurrection and a gathering together with our God and Creator.

We're enjoying the Lord. We are enjoying God. Amen. We yeah previously discussed Yom Teruah. um Now we come to in the month of October, where we have the Yom Kippur, which is the Day of Atonement, and Sukkot, which is that final gathering together of God's wonderful of people.
00:02:32
Speaker
Amen. So that we can never be with the Lord. Amen. We're rejoicing in the biblical feast. Amen. Sukkot is called the Feast of Harvest or the Feast of Tabernacles or the Feast of the End Gathering. It's a harvest festival.
00:02:47
Speaker
It's one of the three times in the year that we're not supposed to come empty because it is a time of celebrating increase that the Lord has provided for us. God continues to bless us. And so we...
00:03:00
Speaker
ah absolutely want to return portion of our blessing back to God. Amen. This Sukkot refers to the boots or the tabernacle that Israel dwelt in in the wilderness.
00:03:15
Speaker
ah The feast relates to both an actual season of harvesting, but also it points to the end time harvesting of the people of ja Amen. This Feast of Tabernacles is often considered to be the annual gathering together of the family of God.
00:03:34
Speaker
In fact, the Feast of Tabernacles and the last great day are part of what God calls in Exodus chapters 23 and 24, he calls it the Feast of Ingathering, us coming in together.
00:03:47
Speaker
The word ingathering is synonymous with harvest. But it more so implies bringing it into yourself and not as a servant who brings it in for another.
00:03:59
Speaker
And so this is a feast. ah We're not bringing it in. God is bringing in. Praise the Lord. God is bringing us as his harvest into this wonderful kingdom.
00:04:10
Speaker
The feast doesn't speak so much about personal increase. Jesus spoke often about the harvest in connection with the harvesting of souls. In fact, our greatest comfort.
00:04:23
Speaker
is the revelation in scripture of the harvest of the saints. There's going to be a rapture. and I know there's not necessarily a translated word in the King James Version, but the the Bible does talk about being caught up and being caught up if we trace it back.

to be with the God. And so the essential aspect of these three end time fees is that they remind us that Jesus is coming back for us. There are over 7000 promises in Scripture, none as critically as important as the promise that he will return for us.
00:05:10
Speaker
He will return to gather his people together. His resurrection is a promise. that brings hope of our own resurrection and a gathering together with our God and Creator.
00:05:24
Speaker
We are the harvest. The true end gathering ah belongs to God. then we become harvesters of God's harvest. In other words, we are harvested ah from the great blessing, and then we become harvesters to bring others into God's kingdom. That's the best of work God has assigned to our hand, that we should go out and teach and compel men concerning the Lord.
00:05:53
Speaker
Jeremiah chapter 31, verses 10 and 11 says, hear the word up the Lord. O ye nations, and declare it in the isles far off, and say, he that scattereth Israel will gather him.
00:06:08
Speaker
So make no mistake about I know we like to blame the adversary for all the issues. The truth is, some of us got scattered because God scattered us. It was a test. Not only could it have been a test, it may have been because God wanted us to be in a place where he could make use of us.
00:06:25
Speaker
And so don't blame the ah adversary for everything. In fact, if we're in the Lord, I don't believe the adversary has that much power ah because greater is he that's within us than he that's in the world. And if God be for us,
00:06:38
Speaker
Who can be it against us? Amen. But the one that scattered Israel will gather him and keep him as a shepherd doth his flock. Verse 11 said, For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
00:06:56
Speaker
So I only made me be stronger than us, but he's not stronger than our God. so So there's a very some very strong principles in these verses. First of all, because of Israel's era, God calls his people to be dispersed.
00:07:11
Speaker
But because of his love for them, he brought them back together again. Isn't that wonderful? That the things that we can do to cause separation from God will never be greater than the love he has for you.
00:07:26
Speaker
God is always a welcoming God. He's ready to perceive you back unto himself. And that because of that same love, we wait for him to draw all those who will be with him in eternity.
00:07:39
Speaker
So when he comes, when this harvest occurs, it's going to happen after great tribulation of the saints. They're going to go through some very difficult times.
00:07:52
Speaker
The test of false teaching that will arise in the church, that's the tribulation. is There's a lot misinterpretation of scriptures. And in fact, I think a lot of it is purposeful because it's intended not to bring us to Christ, but to bring us into that community of unbelievers.
00:08:13
Speaker
ah They want to build their domains and build their own kingdoms. Our purpose should be to build God's kingdom. ah This will be the test of the faith for many, and many will be lost.
00:08:26
Speaker
But those that hold on to the truth, those that endure to the end will be gathered together. He will gather us no matter where life has scattered us to. You can't be too far taken away that he will not find you.
00:08:41
Speaker
Mark chapter 13, verse 24. But in those days after the tribulation and... and I don't want to get in a fight with the scholars, but that's really not talking about the end time tribulation period.
00:08:54
Speaker
It's talking about the the calamities or the difficulties that we're going to go through. It doesn't define the set time of seven years, not here. The sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the stars of heaven shall fall and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
00:09:16
Speaker
And then shall they see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
00:09:37
Speaker
God is going to gather us together. Praise the Lord. Yes, there are going be some folk in heaven. It's going to be those who, when Jesus resurrected, the scriptures say he took captivity.
00:09:48
Speaker
Then he gave gifts to man. And so the reality is, is that there is a purpose in our present day gathering because because we're gathered together now so that we can be gathered together then.
00:10:03
Speaker
And the Bible teaches us that these feasts are holy convocations. We like to call our gatherings and make them holy convocations. The reality is, is that man can't make anything holy.
00:10:14
Speaker
Our purpose in life is to keep the things holy that God declared worthless. ah They're called assemblies, which we should not forsake. Hebrews chapter 10, verse 25, if I could read it in God's word version, we should not stop gathering together with other believers as some of you are doing.
00:10:36
Speaker
Amen. Especially after the pandemic, ah some could never come back and into the normality of worship. Instead, we must continue to encourage each other even the more as we see the but day of the Lord coming.
00:10:53
Speaker
So those who are in covenant with God gather together. We wait for his return. we We don't desire it, but we wait for the destruction of the wicked. We're not asking God to do it.
00:11:06
Speaker
In fact, we're doing all that we can to save as many people as we can from it. We wait to enter in the new kingdom. We wait for the ultimate promise of living with Christ forever. We wait for him to gather us together.
00:11:19
Speaker
We gather because we expect to be gathered. Those that have no expectation of a harvest. I can understand what hope you may have. Psalm 13.
00:11:32
Speaker
50 and five, gather my saints together unto me, those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. Praise Lord. So we should rejoice and we should rejoice like it's harvest time. We should rejoice like we have received increase.
00:11:51
Speaker
Not the natural increase, although the Lord does all of that, but we should rejoice like God has increased himself in us. Harvest was a time of jubilation.
00:12:03
Speaker
It was commonly gathered amid songs and rejoicings and concluded with a festival. In fact, the phrase before thee refers to the fact that the first fruits of the harvest among the Hebrews were presented with saints giving before God in the temple.
00:12:22
Speaker
Isaiah 9 and in the New Living Translation, Israel ah will again be great. And his people will rejoice as people rejoice at harvest time.
00:12:35
Speaker
They will shout with joy like warriors dividing the plunder. Isn't the Lord good? So we invite you. Amen. Find an assembly.
00:12:46
Speaker
Gather yourself together. Amen. Rejoice together with one another and be blessed and strengthened that the love that you have for each other.
00:12:57
Speaker
Amen. Cause you to be even more godly before the Lord and let your joy be full and complete in the end time feast. God bless you. We thank God for you until next time.
00:13:09
Speaker
Grace and peace be with you.
