Today we are gonna talk about another very common dream symbol, probably so common that you didn't realize it mattered in your dream. I see people overlook this all the time, but it could be one of the greatest keys to unlocking the meaning of your dream. And that is dreaming about your car or dreaming about vehicles in general. That can mean a car, that can mean a truck, that could mean a bus, that could be any mode of transportation, small plane, a huge plane, a boat, a cruise ship, pay attention,

to those when they show up in your dream because they are speaking of something. We were designed to hunger for the deep things of God, to thrive on faith and wonder, to seek out divine wisdom that defies human logic. We were designed to unlock the mysteries of God. This is breathing underwater.
Personal Life Reflections in Car Dreams

So what do vehicles represent? Well, I'm gonna start first with your car because I think they can be a little bit different depending on the vehicle. But especially if you are dreaming about your car and you are in your car, you are dreaming about your life, your ministry, your job, your business, something that you are in, involved in, that you are driving, that you are leading, that is a covering that you're under, if you will. so If you're in someone else's car and they're driving, it's probably you're under their covering. Is it a business? Is it a friendship? Is it a relationship? You know, something like that. If you are in your car, then it's talking about your life, your calling, your ministry. I just had a call with a guy the other day who in his dream was, he drove his car that he has from Florida to LA. And in the dream, that car ended up getting totaled.

and he ended up getting a new car. And it was clear that God was talking about this old ministry being totally done and him actually getting an upgrade, okay? Now, that might not always mean that in that exact same kind of dream because context and people are different, but pretty much overarchingly, your car is gonna represent your life, ministry, calling, something of the sort.

I had a dream right before my sister got married. This was years ago now. She's my little sister and I had a dream the night before or a couple nights before that I was driving in my car and she was in the passenger seat and we came to a stop sign. And when I stopped at the stop sign, she jumped out of my car and ran across the street and got into another car and they drove off.

And I knew as soon as I had that dream that that was a symbol of what was happening with my sister and my relationship and kind of this leadership and covering I had had in her life as the older sister, as the big sister, as the best friend, where that wasn't gonna be my role quite the same anymore, that she was getting out of my car, out from under my covering, and she was getting in a car with her husband and becoming a part of that life, a part of that family.

Now, of course, this doesn't mean my sister and I aren't a part of each other's lives anymore, but do you see the symbolism where God was just preparing me like, hey, this is going to be different now.
Interpreting Vehicle Size and Type in Dreams

What about if it's a bus or a truck or maybe a small plane or a huge plane or a cruise ship? Now, the size of the vehicle is really going to be important in discerning what it represents.

It's likely another business, another ministry, another group of people or person. If you are on a bus and someone else is driving, was it a public bus? Was it a bus with a bunch of people on it that you knew? That could represent maybe a smaller church or a small group or something along those lines.

If you're on a huge international flight and there's a ton of people on the plane and you're a part of a big church, that could be representing the big church that you're a part of. It's this vehicle that's getting a bunch of people together and taking them somewhere. It's a covering. It's an entity.

That could also be a really large company or a business if you're a part of that, if that's your line of work. So it really just depends on your own life and the context of the dream to discern that.

If you are on a motorcycle by yourself, that could be speaking of freedom or the freedom of independence in in a certain season. Motorcycles can go places that other vehicles can't go, right? So there is a positivity to a season when it's you alone on a motorcycle, you can go faster, you can go places that you can't go otherwise.

Now, God could also be speaking to, if the context was negative, it could be talking about, hey, you're doing this alone. You're doing this with an independent spirit. Like, I don't want you to do that. I want you to come and and join community. Okay. So always paying attention to the context and the tone of the dream, the emotion of the dream.
The Driver's Influence in Dream Interpretation

If you are in your car but someone else is driving it, what does that mean? Well, who's driving it? Is it your ex-boyfriend driving it? Well, likely you don't want your ex-boyfriend or girlfriend driving your car, but this could be speaking to memories of what happened in that relationship dictating where you're going in your life. Vehicles get us from point A to point B, right? We want to be driving that car with the help of the Holy Spirit, or we want God to just flat out be driving that car. So if you're in a car and your mom is driving it,

Mom could easily represent Holy Spirit. Often moms do represent Holy Spirit in dream. Maybe your best friend is driving. Best friend could be talking about your best friend in some way where God wants to show you they're maybe they're directing your life or maybe that best friend represents Jesus.

And Jesus is showing you like, hey, I'm the one at the wheel. Jesus take the wheel. I couldn't help myself. Oh my gosh. Thank God for that song. I use that all the time. Anyway, I digress. If Jesus is driving your car, he's telling you, I got this. I'm the one directing your life. If you're in the passenger seat, that's a wonderful thing. Usually you don't want anyone else behind the wheel of your car unless it's one of the Godhead. Okay, let's be real. So pay ah attention to that.
Ships in Dreams: Family and Spiritual Significance

Well, what if it's a ship, like a huge ship? Well, think about the other context clues. So it's out on the ocean. That is often representing the spirit or a move of the spirit. Okay, doesn't always have to mean that, but it could. Is it choppy? Was it peaceful? All of that.

I have had dreams where God is talking to me about large ministries and they were like cruise ships but I have also had a dream or two where there was like a a titanic type large older type ship that was representing the generations because My grandparents were on there, my mom's side, my dad's side. I remember there being other people from my family line who weren't alive anymore on that ship and my sister and her kids and my, the rest of my family that I saw on there, I recognized in context was speaking to, oh, this is, this is like the Titanic ship. This is like the cruise ship of your family's history. So it's like your family life.
Balancing Multiple Responsibilities in Dreams

I had a dream not that long ago where I was, in the beginning of the dream, I was driving a bus and I was driving crazy. I didn't know how to drive the bus. Someone just gave me the bus and was like, here you go. And I was going the wrong way. And I felt super scattered and anxious. And I kept saying to this other guy on the bus like, hey, you need to drive this. Please don't make me drive this. I have no idea what I'm doing. And he kept being like, you're fine. And we were like stopping and picking people up and I was panicking.

And then from there we flash to but an airplane that I'm flying and I should not be flying this airplane. I'm thinking I have no, but literally no idea what I'm doing around the license. I've never done this before. I'm like bobbing and weaving in the sky. I'm like about to hit the mountains. I'm telling this woman who's cool, calm, collected, reading a newspaper on the plane with me, I can't do this. You need to take over the plane. I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm going to crash. And she's like, Oh, you're doing great. You've got this. And I woke up in a panic.
