This the second episode of The Deep series and we are talking through Genesis 1 it’s references to the deep, to spiritual wisdom and to living with an awareness and reverence for the Unseen realm. This episode is packed full of wisdom and deep thoughts in conversation with Brandi Haskins, a teacher and a student of the Word. Margaux and Brandi explore fact vs. Higher truth, giving weight to our spiritually discerning faculties and the fact that God is Spirit- and God created all things. So the physical realm that we experience came FROM the Spirit… spirit births physical.

In Genesis 3 Eve saw that the forbidden tree was “ desirable for gaining wisdom”. But this is not wisdom as we think of it. Brandi reads it as “knowledge that Adam and Eve were not meant to have.”

In this episode of Breathing Underwater Margaux explores the spiritual discipline of waiting, reframing its importance and purpose.

Waiting is counter cultural. There is nothing in our modern culture that encourages us to wait. It is however apart of God's culture and we don't need to fear that we have done something wrong or are being withheld from. Waiting is apart of Christian life and even though it is not popular.

Waiting on God is hard, but it is worship unto Him. Because waiting for him requires trust and faith in his voice, his word and his character! He considers it a breaking of the alabaster jar, washing his feet with a costly perfume.

We explore questions like:

Is waiting biblical?

Why is waiting so hard?

When does waiting become delay and what do we do about it?

Waiting, Worship + Delay

We were meant to have vision and build legacy!

It can be so easy to focus on now, BUT we are a part of something bigger! We are all interwoven and connected to the generations before, and have inheritance to receive from them. And we are also called to leave a legacy for those coming behind us.

In this episode,  Margaux share's an intense, but very helpful dream exposing the enemy's tactic to use pain to keep her from moving forward.  

The interpretaion from this dream will be a message to many of you and a timely encouragement as we enter into the New Year and are seeking vision and clarity for a path forward! 

The past is not allowed to dictate your legacy! 

God has given you family, inheritance and land!

Letting Go Of Pain To Build Legacy Dream

The Promise Already There:

 Advent episode on Luke 1:39-45

In this episode Margaux shares a recent revelation from Luke 1:39-45. Waiting isn’t always what we think it is. Did you know that the moment you believed, the promise began to grow? You are not waiting from something to happen- SOMETHING IS ALREADY HAPPENING. If God has given you a promise, you are already in process of receiving that promise. Even the very vibrations and experience of hearing Mary’s voice ( in her greeting to Elizabeth ) was FULL of the Holy Spirit - to the point that Elizabeth was overcome by the presence of God. And it was what was growing inside of her that caused her to release such a spirit- saturated greeting.

 1. Are we unaware of the same power that is being released in our voices?
 2. What are you carrying that God wants to be released into the world tthrough your voice?
 3. What are you waiting for?
 4. Who do you want to be while you are in the interim time?

Stretch, Strengthen + Prolific Fruitfulness: A Word for Rosh Hashanah

Yes, marriage dreams are fairly common dreams! You are not weird, there is nothing to fear. These dreams a most likely a symbol God is using to show you something that is coming, or something you are expereincing or something he wants to do. These dreams can also be warnings. It all depends on the context and the tone of the dream. Was it a good dream or negative? What were you feeling in the dream? Who were you marrying? What might they represent to you? Are they symbolic of a part of your calling? Or maybe a belief system? What does their name mean? Marriage is all about commitment, agreement, covenant, union, oneness, contract, devotion. What are you making an agreement with? Is it positive or negative? Is there some union that God is wanting to orchestrate? Is He calling you deeper into intimacy with him? With your calling? With others?

Do not let yourself be afraid or offended at the dreams about marriage, listen to this brief teaching and explanation and gain more courage and clarity to know God’s unique and loving message to you!

Dreams About Getting Married

Our night dreams can seem non-sensical, bizarre and even flat out disturbing. But if we can push past our human judgments in pursuit of deeper understanding, we WILL find God, every time.

My name is Margaux, I'm the host of Breathing Underwater : A Dream Interpretation Podcast where together we will take the deep dive into this magnificent and mysterious language of God in our night dreams.

Through teaching and live interpretation demos you can expect to unlock metaphorical language, learn common dream symbols and get inspired to interpret your dreams and the dreams of those around you. We will also engage in real conversations around our faith histories and journeys (or lack there of) and lean into the character of God to better know Him and better know ourselves.

Whether you are a prolific dreamer or rarely have dreams that you remember, this is the place for you. If you’re still deciding what you think about God or the things of the Spirit this is a safe place, rich in revelation and curiosity.

It’s time to throw off fear. It’s time to throw off religion. Its time know ourselves as sons and daughters- designed live in the deep, designed to breathe underwater.
