96 Plays9 days ago

A prophetic word released through Margaux, Betty Hall + Australian prophet Lana Vasser. This Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, lands on September 22nd at sundown and God is speaking to his people about this NEW YEAR on the Hebrew calendar. This episode contains Margaux releasing revelation God has given her, as well as that of a few other prophetic voices. Based on and rooted in Isaiah 54, its time to shout with joy and worship God for the coming PROLIFIC fruitfulness, stretching capacity and preparing for EXPANSION while never neglecting the deep rooting into intimacy with Jesus. Rest in the midst of stretching.

Introduction and Host Update

00:00:00
Speaker
We were designed to hunger for the deep things of God, to thrive on faith and wonder, to seek out divine wisdom that defies human logic. We were designed to unlock the mysteries of God.
00:00:14
Speaker
This is Breathing Underwater.
00:00:30
Speaker
Hello, dreamers. Welcome back. Hey, this is my first episode in a little while. And if you have been following the podcast, you probably recognized that the episodes have become a little bit fewer and with more space in between. And before we jump into today's show, I wanted to just give you a tiny bit of context into some things that are happening in my life and especially for those of you who were just love loving that weekly show that was coming out. I was loving that as well.
00:01:00
Speaker
However, I have had some big changes when it comes to schedule, timing, vocation, capacity over this last year. I was invited to take over um the store slash bookstore at the church where I go and where I live. It's ah it's a store that actually impacts quite a lot of people. We have a lot of foot traffic, but also we send stuff out to the nations. And this was not a job I was looking for at all. I was didn't have room for a full-time job, but really felt God was in this because they pursued me pretty persistently to step in and help take over.
00:01:37
Speaker
um Then went through a ton of transition at that store and ended up as ah kind of the director and running this store now as if it's my own, which is a whole lot more work than just managing or um being an associate or being a part of of something like

Balancing Life and Podcasting

00:01:57
Speaker
this.
00:01:57
Speaker
ah And so a lot of the other things that I was filling my time with have taken a little bit of a hit. I am still building my small business. I am still podcasting. i am still leaning into these other creative projects that I really feel God is having me accomplished right now.
00:02:13
Speaker
And i just am consistently going, where has my capacity gone? I don't know if anybody can relate to this. It's actually going to tie into the word that we have to share today. But I wanted to let you know that's why you've seen things drop off a little bit. But my intention is to get more consistent again Probably on a bi-weekly schedule, twice a month.
00:02:35
Speaker
If we can pull off once a week, I'd love to do that. It's really just about finding the right structure and timing because I think God is always bringing the content. So if you guys want to just agree with me in prayer for capacity for me and also um for God to just bring maybe a team.
00:02:52
Speaker
to do the new thing that he even wants to do with his podcast. I've been traveling more. That's amazing because it's at the center of my heart. I've been teaching more and I intend to teach some more. So that is wonderful. And I could always use your prayers in that, but I do not want this beautiful podcast to um lose its momentum. So just wanted to let you into that.

Interns and New Projects

00:03:12
Speaker
I also have four beautiful interns who have started with me this year. That is like absolutely a change and such a gift from God. And, you know, is also adding a whole nother element. So we're going to build a lot together. And I feel God has really brought the hands to me to help build what he wants to build through permissioned rain with breathing underwater and also some other projects as well as what he's doing at the store.
00:03:39
Speaker
And i want to introduce you to these interns, which you're going to be hearing from them over these next few months. They're just lovely. And yeah, you'll agree with me on that. I absolutely know it.
00:03:51
Speaker
So there we are

Prophetic Insights for the Hebrew New Year

00:03:52
Speaker
with that. Thanks for hanging for the journey. Life is real. And on that note, I'm going to jump in to the prophetic word for this new year
00:04:25
Speaker
Wait, what? Did she just say for this new year? Yes, I did. I know it feels weird. We are in September. It is the fall, but I'm referring to the Hebrew New Year. So for those of you who actually follow the Hebrew calendar, the Jewish New Year begins every September.
00:04:41
Speaker
Different dates. It's usually like middle to late September. And this year it falls on the 22nd of September, which starts in the evening and signifies the opening of the Jewish New Year. Now, why does this matter?
00:04:55
Speaker
Okay, Jesus was Jewish and he was a Hebrew. And so this calendar is also very important to him. And I see consistently that he is speaking to me this time of year about a new year. And I see that he's doing that with many other in the body and many other prophets as well.
00:05:11
Speaker
So I wanted to just bring this to you as an encouragement. I think many of you are going to resonate with these words from the Lord. I think many of you are going to get some language for maybe something you are already experiencing.
00:05:23
Speaker
And you know, God speaks to us to bring us encouragement. to edify us, to build us up, to bring us into connection with him because he's a father, because he is the word of God and he loves to speak and communicate.
00:05:36
Speaker
And so the purpose of him revealing what he's doing this year to us is to help us stay close to him, to help us stay inside of his word, to help us recognize the things that we're experiencing and orienting us to maybe things that are to come.
00:05:52
Speaker
I wanted to start by just sharing the specific word that I released to our Permission to Reign community that gets the newsletter. I'm actually just going to read that to you. I'm going to expand on it a little bit, and then I'm going to bring in a couple other pieces of validating prophetic words from other prophets and other people that just feel like it rounds out the word for this new year.
00:06:18
Speaker
So this is what we actually wrote in the newsletter for September 2025, which I knew was beginning the season of this new year. So it's not just for September. This is for the year to come. It starts in Isaiah 54 to enlarge the place of your tent and let them stretch out the curtains of their dwellings. Do not spare anything.
00:06:38
Speaker
lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. The month of September begins a season of acceleration and momentum, things moving faster, doors opening wider and capacity stretching in new ways.
00:06:54
Speaker
Yet in the very same breath, I believe God is inviting us into a posture of deeper rest in him, in our true identities. Strengthen those stakes. It's not about running faster or trying harder. While there will be stretching and the pace may be picking up in areas, the key is to go deeper while also expanding.
00:07:17
Speaker
I believe it is possible to anchor ourselves in his mind, in his capacity, in his rest, in and see that it all gets done. Expand and go deep. This is a corporate building season, pioneering and building the kingdom in ways that some have been waiting for and others have been surprised by.
00:07:36
Speaker
Building for God takes focus and knowing how to rest, especially when you're being entrusted with more. Keep your ears attuned to his voice. Keep a restful heart that we can be moved by the spirit and expect expansion and deepen

Seeking Guidance Amidst Responsibilities

00:07:52
Speaker
those stakes.
00:07:54
Speaker
So when I released this word, it was such a tension internally because what I've been experiencing is that very thing. This experience of more being added to the plate, which I spoke about earlier, and knowing also that these are things that God has brought and that these are things that I may want to be like, no, thank you. But he's actually asking my capacity to grow, to expand, not just for fun, but because there's more coming, because he's calling us to cover more.
00:08:27
Speaker
He's calling us into a time of releasing promises, of seeing fruitfulness where there's been barrenness. And in the preparation, I believe that there's an expanding that needs to happen in our own hearts, in our own lives, in our own capacities. And I'll tell you what, my capacities have definitely been stretched.
00:08:48
Speaker
On that note, it's so important that we're not just saying yes to everything that's coming our way, but also staying very close to him and recognizing his voice when he says, do this, don't do this. Recognizing that we're building and moving and expanding with him.
00:09:05
Speaker
Co-laboring with him. It's real easy for us to to get the plans and then run and go do the thing and make it happen. Thinking, God told me to do this and now I need to make it happen and get into stress mode, get into performance mode.
00:09:18
Speaker
It's not even conscious most of the time until we take a minute and go, oh, I am actually feeling exhausted. i am about to crumble because I feel like the weight of the world's on my shoulders.
00:09:29
Speaker
And we just know that that's not the way that God asks us to build. So there is this dual experience of even if you're doing more, maybe you won't be doing more. Maybe it's a different kind of capacity expansion.
00:09:44
Speaker
But while it feels like you're being stretched out wide... Go deeper also. Go deeper into the word. Go deeper into intimacy with him.
00:09:56
Speaker
Drive those stakes into the ground so that what is actually holding your tent in place is solid. You know what it looks like with a tent, right? There's the kind of covering part and then there's the pegs that hold it into the ground. When the weather comes, it holds the tent in place.
00:10:15
Speaker
And in the old days, they used to actually, I mean, some of us still do this now, tie a rope around the ends of the tent so that it could actually expand and cover more when it needed to. You would just lengthen the ropes out and tie it to the stakes in the ground.
00:10:30
Speaker
That's what this scripture is talking about. And I believe that's what God is asking us to do.

The Hebrew Year 5786 and Spiritual Symbolism

00:10:36
Speaker
As I was releasing this into the newsletter, and I've been chewing on this myself, I came across a handful of other prophetic words about this new year, which on the Hebrew calendar is actually Hebrew year 578.
00:10:54
Speaker
eat six So every new Hebrew year has a number and it builds on itself. So last year was 5785. The year before was 5784. The year before that was 5783. You see how it goes.
00:11:07
Speaker
And one of the things that's so beautiful about... Hebrew, about the language, about the alphabet, just about the way of thinking, you've heard me teach on this before, is that it's very image oriented.
00:11:19
Speaker
It's very poetic, creative, story-like. And so we recognize when a number is attached to something, there's significance there. It's not just a random number that got assigned to you.
00:11:30
Speaker
It's not like this year went into the DMV and pulled a number and was like, no, all right, I'm number 5786. No, this is very intentional. And the numbers actually mean something. They add up to something. They are represented by letters that actually also mean something.
00:11:45
Speaker
There is so much imagery and poetry. It really takes interpretation to understand what it all means. And by no means am I an expert in that. But I came across an article from a woman who is very learned in this and understands numbers and has been prophesying the Hebrew years, New Year's every year.
00:12:07
Speaker
And when I stumbled across for this year, she was prophesying about 5786, which is this year. And I was astonished. I mean, it was a total God thing that I stumbled across this. I was astonished that the very first scripture she uses is Isaiah 54.
00:12:23
Speaker
The very one that I just quoted. And this one begins with saying, O barren woman, shout for joy, you who have never born child, for soon you will have more children than the woman who was married. Expand your tents.
00:12:37
Speaker
Let out the cords. Don't hold back. Strengthen your stakes. Right? This is Isaiah 54. So what I'd like to do here is just share a little bit of what she wrote. I'll actually put a link to this article in the show notes if you want to to dive more deeply into this, which I recommend you do. She's awesome.
00:12:53
Speaker
She also has a library of passwords that she's talked about. But I just wanted to bring this in here to kind of enrich what I just shared, but also to validate, oh gosh, God is speaking the same things to his people.
00:13:06
Speaker
She begins with, shout for joy o barren woman who never bears children break forth in song and cry aloud you who have never travailed because more are the children of the desolate woman then of those who have a husband says the lord She goes on to talk about barrenness and how in this imagery, this is really talking about ah Israel who's in exile.
00:13:28
Speaker
And they have been experiencing this total dryness. They have been experiencing exile and have been longing for spiritual growth and for breakthrough.
00:13:43
Speaker
And God is saying in this time, in those very areas where you have barren, I'm about to bring a prolific fruitfulness. Like this whole idea of producing and having children, like this is actually up to the Lord.
00:13:58
Speaker
Those who have come about it naturally is one thing. But when I do a supernatural thing, this is not what she said. This is me just just prophesying here. But when God does something supernatural, it is prolific and ah abundant and it cannot be stopped.
00:14:15
Speaker
She goes on to say, drive your stakes deep. She said, this is like putting on an addition to your home because you currently don't have enough room. Like think about if you found out that you were pregnant and you went in for a sonogram and then realized you're having five babies.
00:14:29
Speaker
You're not just going to add another crib to the room. You're going to need to expand your house or move somewhere where you have more room. It's not the kind of, hey, make a little more space. It's the stretch it out and don't hold back because that prolific abundance is on its way.
00:14:46
Speaker
Then she actually brings in another word about intermission with the shepherd for the year 5786, which is connected to Psalm 23.

Rest, Expansion, and Spiritual Growth

00:15:00
Speaker
And she talks about how important it is to have this rest point, to have this intermission and let God do this expansion inside of us while I believe things are going to be expanding outside of us.
00:15:12
Speaker
But having this intermission with God to connect with him, to not get distracted by worldly things or plans that other people are trying to pull you into or guilt or codependence that makes you feel like you have to say yes to everything.
00:15:26
Speaker
That is not what this expansion is. That is not what this enlarging of the tent is. It's not take on more stuff and be stressed out. No, no, no, no, no. This is walk with God. Keep your ears attuned to him.
00:15:40
Speaker
Stay close to him while resting by the still waters in the green pastures. Listen to what he has to say. Let him bring the expansion and to actually bolster you and strengthen you in preparation for this prolific fruitfulness.
00:16:00
Speaker
She said the expansion that God is bringing will happen as we take advantage of the pause. While we spend time one-on-one with Christ, feeding on his goodness and the goodness of his nature and resting beside the still waters, we will experience everything he has for us this year.
00:16:17
Speaker
We are going to need the spiritual expansion gained. to go forward. If we don't take the time this year to and be enlarged by God by taking this rest or intermission, then we won't be equipped as we need to be for going forward.
00:16:34
Speaker
I want to go back just briefly to a part where she's talking about the prolific growth, this having more children than you can count from barrenness because she is equating it to her personal life and things that she has seen um in the church. But also it brings us this encouragement and and a posture to hold.
00:16:55
Speaker
in faith as we're going into a year where things may seem like, oh my gosh, I'm really being stretched. Things look a little bit different than I thought they would. she she speaks about to go from being like a barren wasteland to being a prolific garden is a cute way of saying that what was once neglected and overlooked is now going to demand your attention.
00:17:17
Speaker
Many in the Ecclesia have been experiencing a time of barrenness. For these, it has been a time of diminishing. But God is saying that 5786, which is this year, is the turnaround.
00:17:30
Speaker
God is saying your hopeless desperation is about to be consumed with joy and gladness. As the ecclesia or the barren woman rejoices, awakening and revival starts breaking out all around her.
00:17:43
Speaker
Despite her current lack, abundance will cause her to burst at the seams. Glory to God, she says. The ecclesia will be bringing forth disciples once again as the new apostolic company emerges.
00:17:56
Speaker
It will be more important than ever to look through eyes of faith. We cannot look at our circumstances through eyes of doubt. We must remain in faith, believing that God is with us and will watch over his word to perform it.
00:18:08
Speaker
The blessedness of the reversal from barrenness and desolation is a splendid reward for the servant, showcasing the profound transformation that blossoms through divine intervention and grace.
00:18:23
Speaker
This uplifting narrative serves as a powerful reminder that what seems impossible can truly become possible, highlighting the miraculous ability of God as our shouts of faith unlock the windows of blessing.
00:18:36
Speaker
Vitality and abundance will take up a residence where there was once emptiness. As we embrace this beautiful promise, we will reflect God's divine nature of renewal, inviting others to experiencing experience the flourishing that arises from trusting God and the fulfillment of his word.
00:18:53
Speaker
So there's so many angles to this word, and I pray that this would really encourage you. To see this, okay, this is what's coming. This is what God is asking me to do. This is a place where I can shout for joy before the barrenness is totally turned around. But in this stretching, in the invitation to be going deeper, it actually is unto the expanding of our capacities and then unto expanding what we actually cover, what we're called to steward.

Spiritual Maturity and Divine Promises

00:19:24
Speaker
One of my favorite pastors has once said, I'm not going to get this quote exactly right, but it has to do with, you know, before God will release the promises he has for us, circumstantially, he'll make sure that our internal world is built to the same measure.
00:19:41
Speaker
Basically that our internal world, our character, our spiritual maturity will be able to actually handle the breadth of what God wants to give us. And I would say that is a lot of what this past decade or more has been about. But even as we're we're going into this year of expanding our capacities, it is preparation to be able to receive what he wants to give us.
00:20:07
Speaker
I also read that the Hebrew year 5786 is viewed as a year of divine connection and clarification where separate puzzle pieces and prophetic words come together to form a greater whole.
00:20:19
Speaker
This year signifies the significance of the Hebrew letter Vav, which represents connection and the joining of heaven and earth. Many interpret also that this is a year of fertility, of unity, and and manifestation of promises leading to new beginnings and transformation.
00:20:42
Speaker
Just one more. There was ah a word that was released from a woman named Lana Fosser. She's Australian, and I read it about, I guess, probably three weeks ago, and it was all about how the enemy is trying to keep us focused on our barrenness in those places where we have not yet seen fruit,
00:20:59
Speaker
But God was saying, don't focus on those areas. Actually come to me and rest. Come to me and ask me what I'm saying over those areas. The enemy wants you to be distracted with what is not there, but I'm going to tell you what I am doing there.
00:21:13
Speaker
And the whole word that she released was around the barrenness and how God was going to turn that into the place of the greatest fruitfulness. If you were in this room, I would tell you to stand up. I was going to pray for you, but you're not in this room.
00:21:26
Speaker
So I'll just tell you, stand up. I want to pray for you. where If you're somewhere where you can stand up, stand up. If you're driving, that's great. You can just receive

Closing Prayers and Blessings

00:21:35
Speaker
this. but But Lord, I thank you that you have given this word to many people and that you are moving through it.
00:21:44
Speaker
i thank you for Isaiah's prophecy, the first to receive this word.
00:21:51
Speaker
I thank you that he was speaking to a people back then, but that your word transcends time and that you are speaking it again to us now. And that it so beautifully illustrates your character and how you love to bring something from nothing.
00:22:05
Speaker
how you love to bring a lot more than just something from nothing. And I pray for these beautiful ones that are listening, for those hearts that need to be encouraged and going, I have been barren for so long in these different areas of my life. I've been sowing seed and I've seen nothing grow.
00:22:23
Speaker
i just want to bless you with the truth. That you can't make it grow, but God can. And what he has said to you will not return to him void. Just like the rains and the snow come down and water the earth, so is his word. It will not return to him without doing exactly what it was sent to accomplish.
00:22:44
Speaker
Father, I just pray for those who are feeling stretched, who have new jobs or more to do or are going through something emotionally so trying that they feel like they're past their capacity.
00:22:55
Speaker
Lord, I pray that you would come and bring that depth, draw them into the deep place where they can strengthen their stakes while their cap capacity is being stretched.
00:23:09
Speaker
God, I pray for those who are grieving and mourning and are troubled over what is happening in our nation, Lord, that this word of hope and renewal and fruitfulness, prolific fruitfulness in the play of a place of barrenness would resonate with them for those intercessors who are praying day and night.
00:23:30
Speaker
Anything can happen and it can happen overnight, God. You are the God who can bring about something in an instant. There can be years and years and decades of waiting and in an instant, everything changes.
00:23:44
Speaker
Thank you for this new year. Thank you for Rosh Hashanah. Thank you for how you honor ah you honor this calendar. Yeah, we just look to you. We thank you in Jesus' name.
00:23:54
Speaker
Amen.
