So we were in nor way Norway. Norway. Norway. Nat and Kat did the fast forward and arrived to the pit stop first. So they are departing at 8.26pm. It says travel by car, a train, and plane to St. Petersburg, Russia.

To find your next clue. Yeah. So 9 and Cat get to the train station and they find out that the train doesn't leave until 10.26 the next morning. So everyone's on the same train and obviously... The train office doesn't even open until 6. Yeah. they It was closed when they got there, but they like knocked on the door and somebody gave them information. but Obviously, we have an equalizer here and they don't really care that much about when they depart because they don't tell yeah anybody else's departure time. so Which I love to see the departure time after there's a fast forward to see how that much the fast forward makes a difference.

Which is kind of a bummer for them too to like get a fast forward because usually you hope that the fast forward will not only put you ahead for that leg but like the next one too. And yeah that's yeah. and Especially if it's a hard fast forward like theirs was. Yeah.

So that was kind of like. A pointless. Yeah. Fast forward. Because they were, i mean, she had to eat meat after being a vegetarian for 22 years and she was probably like, hmm, I probably could have skipped that task and we still would have come in first place. Yeah, and exactly. It didn't help us on the next leg either. so Yeah.

But hindsight. Yeah. So they also all get to, so they have to take the train to Stockholm and then they have to fly from Stockholm to St. Petersburg and they're all on the same flight.

manly um okay so classical music is they have to go to this historic palace find the maestro with three gramophones and listen to three different compositions being played then enter a ballroom with multiple pianos being played at the same time and figure out which three pianos are playing the same composition as the music playing on the gramophone When they think they have identified a the match, they must take the sheet music on top of the that piano, place it in the folder in the numbered slot that matches the corresponding gramophone.

And then it's just a lot of them running back and forth from the What do they call the thing? that The record player? The gramophone. The gramophone. Back to the piano. Back, forth, back, forth.

With the music one, they had like no strategy. No. The whole time I was thinking like, why don't they just listen to one song and then find that one? Because they all seem to listening to all three at the same time then trying to find three the same they're listening to maybe like 30 seconds of the song and then going. Because these, I mean, a classical piece of piano is probably like four to five minutes long if you play the whole thing. So there's lots of different parts. Yeah. So they probably could have got done way faster if they would have just listened to the whole song and then go find the piano for that one song.

But nobody, I mean. If they did that three times, they would be done in less than 20 minutes. Yeah. Some of them were there for a very long time. And then switched. Yeah. So, at the... ah Brooke and Claire finally do get to the cinema place.

um But Thomas ends up finding the real the film reel first. And that clue says, race to the location shown on the film can or the record that you receive, which is Palace Square, to find your next clue.

And um so Brooke and Claire finish the film one and then Michael and Kevin finish. So yeah, the film one. is faster. It's definitely more of like a needle in a haystack and if you get lucky, you get lucky. yeah But it takes time to just... Because there was a lot of film strips there.

um So then this is when we get teams starting to switch detours. Gary and Mallory decide to switch. So Nat and Kat and Nick and Vicky, they went to the guy around the same time to check off their music pages and he says no and they both both teams say, let's hurry and switch before Chad and Stephanie see us and they'll think that we're done and they're going to freak out.

Yeah. And I was very nervous for them because the whole time, like, it seemed like they were by the piano that they were supposed to be by. And Nick's like, this is not it. It's for sure not it. And they would walk away. And I'm like, oh, they're never going to get this. Well, because Vicky was like, I think this one's it. He's like, definitely not.

And then Chad and Stephanie actually end up finishing the detour. And that's when so Chad, is because it was like, it was kind of like they knew that they were getting close, but they were still so far away. It seemed like they were never going to get it. And he was saying to her, why do you want me to make the decision? You make the decision. And she said, I have. I want to stay and finish. I think we can do it. He says, okay.

It says, who's ready for a Russian drag race? um Brooke and Claire get there first. Jill and Thomas, it looks seems like their taxi missed the signs. And they weren't very big signs to, like, mark the path.

But what they don't know is that they have to fertilize the crops with cow manure. Yeah. Yeah. yeah What does babushka mean? Is that like woman, grandma? It's Russian for grandmother.

So, Kevin actually gets to the field first and is showing how to plant the potatoes and stuff, and he ends up finishing the detour first.

And the clue says make your way to St. Isaac's Cathedral to find the pit stop for this leg of the race. and But Brooke finds it after ah not too long after that.

And... she When she was, like, freaking out about getting manure on her hand, though. Yeah. At the very beginning. I was like, oh girl. Like, don't ever go to a farm, I guess. Yeah. She was, like, screaming a lot. Yeah. um And then Jill does it And she does it pretty quickly. Yeah.

Stephanie did kind of have a hard time too because her but she was like looking around and Mallory showed up and she's like, do you want to work together? And Stephanie's like, no.

No. Yeah. anytime that anybody's asking them for a directions or help, they have no idea what they're talking about. So at one point, Mallory is like asking a group of guys that seem to be at a bar or something. should It might have even just been their house because it was like their backyard. Yeah.

And he like lifts her over the fence. He lifts her up like over the fence. He's so much taller than her and he wants to have a drink with her. and Yeah. Invites her in for vodka. No, thanks.

um She eventually finds it, but yeah, that was, they all kind of struggled. Not all. Some of them kind struggled to get from one place to the next. So um some of the teams are making their way to the pit stop.

So Michael and Kevin and Jill and Thomas seem to be dropped off around this St. Isaac's Cathedral about the same time. Brooke and Claire finished first, right?

No, Michael, kevin and Kevin, Kevin finished first, but Brooke and Claire were right behind them, but their taxi had to stop for gas. Mm-hmm. And then then Jill. So they're all kind of like in the first three.

um So it looks like the pit stop is actually across the street in a park next to the cathedral, not actually at the cathedral, which is misleading. um So Jill and Thomas actually end up being there, getting there first, and they win a trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil.

yeah And then Michael and Kevin and Brooke and Claire are running around looking as well. And Kevin keeps telling his dad, no, we're supposed to be at the cathedral at the cathedral at the cathedral. And Michael's like, let's just look over here. can we please just look over here? And they finally do. So Brooke and Claire are number two and Michael and Kevin are number three.

When Kevin actually finished a detour first. That was a lesson that he needs to listen to his dad. Yeah. I know. but it just There's so many situations that come up that's like people have a hard time finding something or completing something and their teammates like, why don't we just try this? And they're like, no, I don't want to do it. like I know.

Just try it. If you're already, if you're looking for solutions, try something else. Yeah. And are teams where it seems like there is somebody who's definitely the more like the leader of the team. Yeah. And they don't listen to their other teammates. Yes.

That bothers me. Mm-hmm. um So Nick and Vicky actually did pretty well the second time around at the pianos. Yeah, they did what I said they should have done from the beginning is they just like did one song at a time. Yeah. And they didn't have a bunch of people running around and were able to like focus a little better. And so when they get to the roadblock, Nick does it. And when he's when it said drag race, he thought he was gonna be driving a car. Yeah.

But it's a different track than that. All the locals are giggling about his outfit and like trying to take so pictures with him. Yeah. When he tried to ask them for directions, they just wanted a picture with him.
