so I mean, in general, they're pretty safe. Yeah. But just like you hear about crashes all the time. Yeah. so Right. i think I agree. I think that'd be scarier than that. Yeah. um so yeah. They ride.

So, they recognize that. They land there. clue there is a roadblock and it who's bright enough to float who's light enough to flow i thought i misheard it too but i saw the clue and it says who's bright enough to float yeah who's bright enough to float So the person doing the roadblock needs the mental and physical stamina to complete a task that is surprisingly difficult. Working on a float that would normally take 10,000 man hours to complete, teams must painstakingly decorate three sections of the official flow of the Tournament of Roses organization. they finish

She gets started. The next helicopter lands. It's Jill and Thomas. Thomas does this roadblock. They said they were saving the final roadblock for him. Yeah, thinking it would be like a physical task or some something like that. And then they saw what it is and they were like, ooh, I wish it was Jill doing this. yeah But it doesn't look that hard. The sections are very small.

I think the only thing that somebody, so like the roses have to go into like tiny little plastic tubes that have water in them so that the water the so that the flowers don't die right away. Yeah. um And I think Nat forgot to put them in the tubes first before she put them in the float. Yeah. But other than that,

Nobody had any issues. The sections were small. And then Brooke does it. Yeah, Brooke does the rope block. She's really excited about it. And so yeah, Nat tries to pass off and they said that she hadn't prepped the roses correctly.

So yeah, Jill and Thomas get in and like we said, they don't communicate with this cab driver very good and they are seriously like just staying in that cab just trying to talk to him in a different way say something different and stuff and they're trying so hard not to be really mean to him yes which i appreciate but they are really frustrated that's really really frustrating situation yeah and the cab driver starts to look frustrated um brooke and claire they ask if their driver has like a phone or internet or something they're like take us to a hotel we'll look at the internet there like that's like all that jill and thomas needed to ask for yeah was just like take us to a place that has a computer they that was smart um because then jill and thomas are like

He likes tell like sounds like a gas station yeah like some like corner store. Yeah. It's not even like a gas station. It's just like, yeah, just a hole in the wall store. We have to use your internet. And then they don't seem to even really understand. we don't really see what happens with that. And then they're just on the street basically yelling at people, do you have internet? They're like, what? Do you have internet? What?

They're like in this random neighborhood. Like it was very, their strategy is very weird. Like, i don't know. Anyways. I just think they could have done different done it different. and But Nat and Kat get to the studios first and they get to that stage number seven. And when they get there, the um this is like their final task and this is like the memory task that they have at the end of every season. So they go into the studio and there is a big screen with a bunch of little tiny pictures or little tiny videos of people from different countries. That they've encountered the race and they're all wearing a hat.

So there's 48 people on the screens wearing hats. 11 of them are greeters who have welcomed them to the matts. At the final. um The final. The pit stops. On the pit stops. For this race. Using their control pad. They select 11 greeters. In the correct order. And then. Bob Eubanks. Will be.

Will give them the next clue. And the pictures. Move. So they're not like stationary. So they like rotate. And mix up. And they. So they can't like. Just. Find one picture. In one spot. And yeah, at this point, like 17 seasons in, everybody knows to like write everything down.

um So, Nat and Kat get there. They start picking. um They don't really have too hard of a time with it. Brooke and Claire are figuring out their clue at the hotel, like, business center. Jill and Thomas are still doing. Just shouting around in a residential neighborhood. yeah um Nat and Kat, the only thing that they really get caught up on is, like, the Russian The second leg of the Russian greeter because they were in Russia to two times. legs, yeah. um But they eventually get it all correct and they get the clue.

And it says, travel by taxi to the finish line. Greystone Mansion. The first team to check in here will win the amazing race in the $1 million. Yeah. And... When Brooke and Claire arrive and Bobby Banks is there to welcome them they are freaking out. It doesn't look like Nat and Kat even recognize who he was. Yeah. But Brooke and Claire, I wouldn't really know who he was if he was... Do you know who he is? Well, now. now that you've looked it up, he's the host of the Newlywed Game, isn't he? Yeah. Yeah.

So, um yeah. Yeah. Brooke and Claire know who he is. And they're they're like, can we have a hug? Can we have a hug? um And Brooke and Claire finish pretty quickly don't really struggle with it and they get the clue for the pit stop and um this is kind of where they try and make it seem like who, because Nat and Kat are stuck in traffic, but Brooke and Claire's Cab driver knows exactly where he's going. Yeah. But I don't think it was that close. I don't think so. um And at one point, Jill and Thomas, they're still looking for Internet. They haven't figured out like anything yet. Yeah. And Thomas says, we get back in the States. We have more language barrier than we have ever, ever had. We'll get in a different cab. Oh, missed a lot of cabs.

Yeah. Yeah. And so a cab pulls up. We don't know who it is, but of course we know who it is. It's Nat and Cat. And they run to the finish line. And Phil says, four continents, 30 cities, 32,000 miles. Nat and Cat, you have made Amazing Race history as the first all-female winners of the Amazing Race. And you have won the million dollars.

If you remember like way back, i don't know, probably season two that we had that conversation yeah about what everybody was called.

Like they, They do hair for hair shows and magazines and photo shoots and stuff like that. So I thought that was kind of interesting. Brooke is the former roommate of Richie Humphrey, who competed on two seasons of The Amazing Race Vietnam. And Phil lists Claire being hit by a watermelon as one of his favorite moments of the first 30 seasons. Favorite. I know. I was like, that might not be the best way to put it, but maybe most memorable. Yeah. um Post-race, they were – so um we saw that Claire had just gotten engaged.
