But I guess if that's your life. Yeah. like Because the Cowboys take up their space with a cowboy hat and their boots. Yeah. I guess what's important to you, you bring with you. I can't remember who was on which team, but like the Globetrotters, the Cowboys, and then Keisha and Jen because they're basketball players. They um did like a three-on-three basketball team and Jamie and Cara were doing like cheerleading on the sidelines and everybody was just kind of watching and having fun. and One of the Cowboys said, who would have thought two Cowboys would be playing basketball against Globetrotters in China? Yeah, and really.

Yeah, so if it left 7.50 and they arrive in Kunming at 5.30. In the morning, yeah. It's still dark. Yeah, it's dark and they're getting in taxis and they all want to follow Ron and Christina because Ron and Christina are able to communicate with taxi drivers.

And the next thing I typed are, where are Vixen's eyebrows? Yeah, she doesn't have them drawn on yet for the day. Like this whole episode, yeah. Yeah. and and so yeah the teams get to the flower market that clue says travel by taxi to the golden horse and jade cock memorial arches and search for your next clue so they have to get back in their taxis and go do that um the cow the globe traders are the last ones to get the clue when they come back out somebody had taken their taxi so the cowboy's taxi had left So they took the Globetrotters taxi. Yeah. So they didn't have one. one fewer taxi than there was teams, but they did find one after like a few minutes.

So Ron and Christina and Zev and Justin are the first ones to the detour clue. And it says the choices are honor the past or embrace the future. For Honor the Past, they have to watch a traditional Tibetan performance while testing their powers of perception and memory. Without taking any notes, they must go inside a curt like a curtained mini theater and place a set of 15 dolls representing the characters of the show in the same order the performers appeared on stage

This is, some wrote Some detours, like all teams do a specific one or that's really uneven, but this is kind of even. Margie and Luke get to the building for the solar thing. And...

So Zev and Justin and Keisha and Jen finish the detour before Ron and Christina, but they like wait outside because they're having a hard time giving directions to their drivers. Because that clue says... um Make your way to the place pictured in the photo. Yeah.

And they need their help for that. So... Caution, double, you turn ahead. And... um The other team's doing the solar thing. it doesn't seem like it's difficult to understand. It's just kind of hard to get the boxes all the way up. Yeah, the boxes are heavy and they're big. And then, like, assemble it.

And some people do it differently. Like, some people can only take one box at a time between the two of them. Some people take one box each. Like, the Globetrotters, they each take their own box. i know. They just, like, heave it over their shoulder and make it look so easy. And then Kent is, like... I can't do this. I feel like in a weightlifting competition, Vixen would crush him. Yes.

Yeah. He's very He's skinny and does not have like a lot of muscle tone and she looks way stronger than him. And he's she's trying to get him to hurry and... You're moving the pace of a turtle. Yeah. And teams are passing them.

They're not communicating very well. so These teams, it kind of just is, they'll finish. Some are a little bit faster than others, but um this first group, like Ron and Christina, Zevin, Justin, and Keisha and Jen get dropped off, but and they think it's the U-turn, but it's the wrong place.

Yeah, it's like a different square. So they get back in their taxis. And they're like all the other teams are just like standing around staring, like waiting for Ron and Christina to tell them where to go. Yeah. That clue says teams must travel outside of Kunming to the Stone Forest while they're where they'll receive their next clue. And the cowboys arrive. They don't U-turn.

And like Kenton Vixen, Jamie and Kara, and the cowboys all arrive at the same time. The cowboys find it first. They don't U-turn. As they're leaving, they like tell Kenton Vixen which direction to go to find the U-turn box. So they're running. And so Kenton Vixen and Jamie and Kara arrive At the mat right there at the exact same time.

And Jamie and Kara keep saying, do the Globetrotters. Do the Globetrotters. Kent and Vixen were first. Like, both of them were on the mat. Yeah. Right before Jamie and Kara were. And Jamie and Kara keep saying, do the Globetrotters because they know that they're behind them.

and vi And Kent's like, well, who are you guys going to do? here Who are you guys going to do? And Vixen says... Kent, put out the Globetrotters. Do the Globetrotters. And he's like, we just have to do this. And he takes Jamie and Kara's picture out and stops slaps it right on there. And he says, it's the only way we're going to survive and like runs away.

Yeah. And then there's like a little interview that says like the mistake that we made night time on the race was that we U-turned somebody that was ahead of us. yeah And Jamie and Cara were the only ones that we knew that were for sure behind us.

So that does make sense. But then Jamie and Cara are right there. They don't really get offended by it or anything. They just, they U-turned the Globetrotters and they move on. And... um So that group of teams that were dropped off at the wrong place arrived to this and they all see that they...

Everybody's safe. Yeah. So they go to the stone forest and Jamie and Cara head to the second detour and they finish it really quickly. Yes. And the globe charters arrive and see that they've been U-turned.

They get to the second detour and finish it really quickly. That detour pretty easy. Yeah. The ones who had the biggest time, like the hardest time with it were Ron and Christina. Everybody else passed it like on their first try. And I feel like they just like overthought it. Yeah.

I feel like the... The teams that did well with it, it's like, okay, it seemed like there was like 12. 15. Oh, 15. So they're like, you take this half, I'll take this half, and then they just memorized.

so Yeah, because like if Jamie and Cara had gone to this one first, they probably would have been ahead of the group and not been U-turned. Yeah. But you don't know that. yeah um All teams are headed to the Stone Forest.

And then Jamie and Cara's driver has to stop for gas. And they're like, it's like Hawaii all over again. Which was the final leg of their last season. Their driver stopped for gas. I don't think they were going to win even if their driver didn't stop for gas. no But that was very frustrating for them. Further back.

So the Globetrotters actually end up passing them. But Gary Mallory and Zev and Justin's driver took them to the wrong place. So Jamie and Kara and Flytime and Big Easy end up arriving before those last two teams.

Yeah. Which is crazy because they had to do a W-turn. But um I think Keisha and Jen are the first ones to get to this clue at the Stone Forest. And it's a roadblock. It says, who's ready for a task 65 million years in the making?

So they have to choose a dig site and gather a complete set of Dilaposaurus bones. Not real bones. It's basically like cardboard, like particle board.

And using the example, put together 20-foot replica of this dinosaur. um They have to make sure that all of the joints are connected correctly and... the archaeologist or whoever the guy, the judge will stop them if it's unsafe. So they have to like start building and if it's not connected correctly and it's wobbly, he comes and he'll say not safe. Did you say it's a 20-foot replica? Yeah. Yeah. So it's like big. They have to use a ladder to get up there. Like it could fall on them if it's not safe or whatever or it has to be perfectly lined up.

And she said, says why did you U-turn? Why did you guys U-turn? And she said, because we have a 30 minute penalty for not doing the right flight. We didn't mean to lie. We just, you know, didn't want to be targeted or whatever.

And Jen like doesn't say anything or care, but Ron is not happy. Ron does not like this. He doesn't like that they lied, which on, it's not, I mean, it's part of the game. It's not that big of a deal, yeah but he doesn't like it.

Um, So Jet does the roadblock and then Big Easy and Jamie. And so those last two teams that were taken to the wrong place arrive and that Justin and Gary are doing it. So all the teams are doing the roadblock at the same time.

And Gary Mallory decided that it's best to use their express pass because they're the last team to arrive and they're all doing it. Yeah. And they see like what the the task is and that it might take them a while. So they do use their express pass, which I think was smart. Yeah, but I wonder at what point, can like, you could probably use your express pass in the middle of a yeah task. Like, yeah Gary's a builder. He could probably have done not too bad at it. i wonder if he would have tried.

But at that time, it probably is really intimidating to be the last to arrive and see. It's a pretty big task ahead. Yeah. And knowing that you have it they... just decided to use it and then they're like, okay, we have to make sure we come in first since we used our express pass. But right then, Jet finishes.

Well, he was like, because they have one diagram that's kind of, it's like a national park sign kind of Yeah. And you have to leave your station to go look at it and then run back to your station. So it takes time. But Jet says, I checked the diagram more than anybody. Yeah.

And that helped him out and he finished first, like way ahead of people. Yeah. Yeah. Because what ends up happening to quite a few of the teams is that like the first, like the hip bone, that's like the base of the whole thing was backwards. And so if that's wrong, then you have to take everything apart and basically start over.

So yeah, it's better to just like check and make sure you're right from the beginning, even if it takes a little bit more time because clearly it worked for his advantage because he finished first. So yeah. So when Gary and Mallory get back to the parking lot, their cab had left them, but the Cowboys' cab was there. So it's kind of a race to the end, but team number one ends up being Jen Cored.

They win $5,000 each. And then Gary and Mallory are team number two. And they're like, yeah, we figured. But they're kind of bummed that they used their express pass. It got second place. But yeah. At least they're not eliminated. And flight time, when he gets there, he asks Jamie, how come they U-turned And and it vixen kind of a er carra Vixen kind of explains like. Yeah, she's like, it started over there. Ask them. Yeah.

Um, so Kent has his, like, all built, but again, he has the problem of his hip the thing is backwards, so he has basically undo all of it. And Vixen and him are getting nervous because they say not only do we have to beat a lot of teams, we have to beat them by a wide margin. Yeah. He falls off the ladder. yeah he, like, it was kind of like the ladder- falls and he followed fall fell on top of it like on his side and looked like he's gonna be really hurt look like it but it kind of just like it went to a commercial break and then it comes back on and he's like running away looking at the diagram and we're like oh apparently he was not hurt that bad yeah but he ends up finishing and so keisha finishes and kent finishes and um

Flight Time and Big Easy got out of their taxi and I was like, oh they're going to beat Kent and Vixen, but they didn't. Kent and Vixen got checked in and then right after Flight Time and Big Easy were then team number six. Yeah, so Big Easy did pretty good on that roadblock. When he finished, he was like... A W-turn. Yeah, a W-turn. When he finishes, he was like screaming and freaking out and yeah he's like, W-turn that!

And I got to the restaurant and I went into the bathroom and I was like, oh, I'm like starting to sweat. i just got to like make sure I keep my arms down. And then like i kind of grew out of it and like I sweat a little bit, but I wear a lot of like black shirts or white or gray, you know, like things that like don't really or like shirts that don't sit right against my armpit. But the shirt was kind of like more form fitting and the color and the material just was like a bad combination. And it i so it was really bad.

And I hadn't used them in years.
