And um they find out that there is a flight that will arrive at noon the next day. And they're being told that it's like the best flight option. So they're still kind of just like all the teams just getting there and chatting and talking about what flight they're getting and stuff. And Chad and Stephanie said that they're going to go get a blizzard. Yeah. They're going to get some Dairy Queen. So apparently the Oman airport has Dairy Queen.

Good to know. He said cheeseburger and blizzard. And um other teams start like doing a little bit more digging. i don't know why some travel agents tell them that's the best flight and then they go to another travel agent and there's more options.

So Nat and Kat, they decided to go to Dubai first and then look for something connecting there because they thought it would be much many more options. Yeah. But they end up being on that noon flight. So Nick and Vicky, or sorry, Jill and Thomas will arrive at 5 a.m., Nick and Vicky at 10.30, 5 a.m., and then Brooke and Claire, Chad and Stephanie, and Nat and Kat will arrive at noon. Yeah.

Detours: Bricks vs. Meals

um So, yeah, Jill and Thomas arrive in Bangladesh at 5 a.m. m And they make it to the sugar cane place and do that pretty quickly. Thomas drinks the whole thing. They get the next clue that says a detour, balanced meal or balanced brick.

They have to travel across the harbor to a nearby cargo ship, carefully hoist 30 containers to the deck and deliver the meals to the workers on the ship, and then return to shore with 10 empty containers.

And then balanced bricks is use their head to so to transport 100 unbroken heavy bricks from a supply barge to a nearby shop. I think I would have picked bricks personally. Yeah.

They're both physical. But one of them, you don't really have to get on the water that much. Yeah. It's just kind of like a contained area that you just have to go back and forth and get it done.

Well, Jill and Thomas choose bricks. m And other Jill kind of spilled hurt the first basket that she carried, but then they get the hang of it and finish pretty quickly. h And that clue says, make your way on foot to the Dhaka River Port.

Yes. So at this point, Nat and Kat arrive at the Mumbai airport and see Chad and Stephanie and Brooke and Claire there like sleeping.

And I figured that was going to happen when they said that they were both arriving at noon. I said they were going to be on the same flight coming into Bangladesh and they are all happy to see each other. yeah Because they all know that there's pretty much a chance now. Yeah. Because Nat and Kat, you know, they don't really know what flight these other people are going to be on. And Chad and Stephanie and Brooke and Claire are like, oh, we're basically just like in a two-way race for last place. But then when they see a third team coming, it kind of helps. And they know that the W-turn is coming. So they, all three of them are just like, we have to be the one to get to that clue first. Yeah.

Or else we're in trouble. Yeah. um But Jill and Thomas finish the bricks detour and they come up to the next clue and it's where the U-turn is and they decide to U-turn Brooke and Claire.

Which kind of surprised me because they ah were so far ahead. Seven hours early. Yeah. But they're like, if this is the last U-turn of the season, I don't know if it is or not, but.

And they said, like, we we don't want them to be racing in the finale. Yeah. They're a team you don't really want to have in the finals with you. Yeah. So even though they're really far ahead, there's no sense in not using the U-turn at this point. So they do that. and then the clue says to take a bicycle rickshaw to Nazira Bazaar. Mm-hmm.

And as Brooke and Claire are boarding the flight to come to Bangladesh, they say, if Jill and Thomas U-turn us, they are the biggest idiots. Yeah. And I could see how people would think that.

Like, if you were a team in the back, you're like, oh, that would be dumb for them to use a U-turn on a team that's so far behind. But also not. Yeah. it's like It's like if we were doing this and we were so far ahead, we were seven hours ahead of the teams coming But we had a team we know we we know was going to be in the back and we know we didn't want to race them at the finale. Yeah.

So Jill does this roadblock and she doesn't have too hard of a time doing it. And the clue they get after that says make your way to lullabog fort for the pit stop for the sake of the race the last human checking may be eliminated they check in as team number one and they win fifteen thousand dollar discover gift card yeah that's a nice surprise and that's when phil asked them about like the u-turn that's when they said yeah we don't want them in the finale with us so yeah um as they were kind of finishing the roadblock nick and vicky arrived

And they went, it doesn't seem very hard to find the sugar cane place. No. So they do that quickly. And then they pick the balanced meals detour.

And um Nick and Vicky finish up the detour. And they go to the U-turn place and Nick is saying that he wants to U-turn the doctors.

Yes. And so these last three teams, they're all trying to find the detour. And Chad and Stephanie, their rickshaw takes them to the wrong place and doesn't know where this they're supposed to be going. Nat and Kat, they get dropped off right where they're supposed to be. And then Brooke and Claire get dropped off like a little far away and they have to run a long way to get to this port.

They understand that it's gameplay, but I don't get the comment of like when you see who did it. Like it's not like they were like friends or allies or – Yeah.

trying to encourage her but also she's getting like frustrated and and claire's feeling like dizzy like you know saying i have to look at the ground or i'm going to pass out she's like i'm not going to be very good teammate if i'm passed out yeah and brooke's kind of like trying to push her along and claire says i'm not the one that runs marathons yeah So this is like the first time they've really had a squabble. Yeah. It wasn't too bad. It didn't last very long.

But Brooke's like, it's really hard to be empathetic in the moment. And she says, I'm just going to be positive. And they kind of just like leave it at that. Yeah. And they had finished the detour there on their way to the roadblock.

Chad and Stephanie are doing the detour. Again, very physical, very hot. They're trying to go really fast. Stephanie says that she feels like she's going to throw up. Yeah. and And yeah, so they're – it looks really hard.

But Brooke and Claire get there and Brooke does the roadblock. And then Chad and Stephanie show up. Stephanie does the roadblock. So all the three teams are doing the roadblock at the same time. Yeah. Nat is definitely farther ahead than them.

She only has one thing left that she hasn't passed off. It's like part of the wheel. Yeah. And so she's trying to figure that out. So it's a good thing that they were able to U-turn Chad and Stephanie because it took her longer to do the roadblock than the other two.

It was kind of funny because, like, sometimes, like, you know, they film the interview at the end of the leg and kind of – having them narrate the things that are going on during the leg so it cuts to them after they've already finished so when they are like starting the leg and they're like fresh-faced and clean and everything and then it has the interview and you can see that clearly they've been been through something it's like oh what's about to happen here

And there's one piece of each person's bike that's like really they're struggling with. Brooke can't figure out the bell and Stephanie's having a problem with the seat. And they finish at about the same time. Yeah. um Brooke gets the clue right before Stephanie does. Yeah. It's probably 30 seconds difference.

But yeah, they were both having trouble finding the pit stop and it seems like were they not able to take a taxi or was it just close enough that they didn't need to? don't know. Because they were just like running around in the streets. Because it didn't really show us any of the other teams getting a taxi or arriving the taxi just like getting there. So it's kind of edited weird.

currently she's a hairstylist she it looks like she does some modeling one of their children has autism so she has like i don't think it's updated but she has a blog about like being an autism mom she had a youtube channel you can book a hair appointment with her and it costs a lot of money like three hundred dollars for highlights um And it was I think it was like $2,000 for extensions.
