Beth and Ayla IN PERSON! - Beth's Recent Visit to Canada and Our Schenanigans

The Art Of Intention

You heard (read) that right, we have been IN PERSON this last week, and we straight up could not be more stoked to be here. Beth made her way from warm and sunny Hawaii to join Ayla in early spring (so, still cold) Canada. We, of course, had the BEST time, and we can't wait to share all of the adventures we had and the content we were able to grab for the show.

We were in full sleepover mode for today's episode, which definitely included snacks, pj's, facemasks, AND us laughing and chatting about Beth's time in the Great White North. We went out on the down, went for work dates, had movie nights, and truly lived our best lives, and we NEEDED to share the week with you. We recommend pairing today's episode with a fun drink, some snacks of your own, and your comfiest clothes. Come hang out with us as we chat about Beth's time in Canada.

Excitement of Reuniting & Recording Together

00:00:28
Speaker
for those listening. That was me serving up some actual tea. Don't worry. It's not ASMR. No. No, that was just for then. Yeah. But we're in person. Yay. Yeah. Beth's here. Been here for a week. Yes. So today we're going to do a recap of my time here. So we're going to go through each day and everything we did because it's been awesome. So you get to just sit and listen to our tea, our actual tea and apparently our
00:00:56
Speaker
quite literal tea that we do and we're taking a little bit of video for this one too just to have so there's video proof I did pour us a cup of tea but yeah I can't remember like the idea was planted but a couple months ago it was actually my husband's suggestion for us to finally like get it together and see each other in person so Beth flew up here today where we're not today sorry today we were recording and it's Tuesday Beth flew up last Wednesday so
00:01:23
Speaker
been

Beth's Travel Story & Reunion

00:01:24
Speaker
about a week. Yeah, which is crazy that that worked out. It flew by of course, because fun things always fly by a little too fast. So I guess I'll talk real quick about the flights. So we're just gonna jump right into it. Yeah, that's all the releases say we finally wanted to see each other in person.
00:01:40
Speaker
It was a mix of podcast work and fun, and we're just going to hang out and have a little recap. We've got it very set up, like sleepover vibes, cozy snacks, cozy. We might have cake. If you see the video, we can't lie to you. We definitely have cake. Yeah, we have tea. We might also be really wanting to chill, so we also have

Unscripted Conversations & Catching Up

00:02:00
Speaker
face masks. That might happen later. Like life. We're just, we're mad chilling.
00:02:05
Speaker
Listen, this is unlike any other episode. We have no script, which I'm scared about. And we're just, we're going. So yeah, anyway, Beth, why don't you kick it off with talking about when you flew in and what that looked like? So luckily the flight wasn't too bad. I flew from Hawaii to California just to get a couple days stopping before
00:02:24
Speaker
the full travel because if you just fly straight from Hawaii to Canada, it can be kind of a hefty travel day. So flew from Hawaii to California, spent a couple days there, and then got it together, flew on Wednesday. The Wednesday flight day was super easy. It was like the flight from California to Calgary. Is that the right one?
00:02:41
Speaker
Okay, that was only a couple hours long maybe three hours under three hours super chill super easy Fine flights smooth nothing wrong with it and the Calgary airport was very quiet and nice pretty easy to navigate No problems with my flights hopped on what an hour and a half flight to get from Calgary to Saskatoon if that it's like
00:02:58
Speaker
55 minutes or something. I love it. It's like an island hopper for my Hawaii folks. So really fun easy I love traveling It was a really simple travel day and what I loved about that was when I got back Or when I got here back as if I'd ever been here before when I got here here I already think about when I'm coming back When I got here, I was not too tired. So it's nice So Ayla had suggested, you know, do you want to go and do a couple things when you land? But if you're too tired, we can just chill so when I landed Yeah
00:03:26
Speaker
She was there, by the way, to pick me up with a sign.

Special Reunion at Saskatoon Airport

00:03:30
Speaker
Oh, we'll have to show, you know, we'll show the video footage on our on our Instagram. So go there. But she had a little sign that said like, you know, welcome, super mega best friend. Yeah, I just said super mega best friend because that's like an inside joke of ours. Yeah, like that hard to figure out. That's my super mega best friend. So she did a sign. So I did that. Had a little sign. But it's so funny. I was telling her about our airports and Saskatoon Airport is the best airport in Canada. Everyone else can.
00:03:56
Speaker
Calm down with that one because it's tiny so I love it like people always arrive and depart in the exact same area so it was hilarious like I made her sign and everything but it was super uncrowded and I actually saw her there's like a set of doors that like arrivals walk through and they're frosted but like they stay open kind of a lot so I saw her from so far away and I was like
00:04:16
Speaker
I was weird. I will say I didn't see you until I was like at the bottom of the escalator. So like I lived, I didn't see her until I was like, I tried to, I tried to be like, cause I didn't want it to be awkward. Yeah, no, it was a reasonable amount of way. Okay. Anyway, so that was good. That was so fun seeing her. And then it was, that's when the realization really hit like, Oh, we're together in person. Cause it's been what, like a year and a half at least since we've seen each other. I mean, it's been a while. It was like March, 2021 is the last time we saw each other. It's been like two years.
00:04:46
Speaker
What is, what are we doing? We don't know. Anyways. And like, and that day was even just, it was quite literally a day. So really like solid hangouts in person. It had been like three. Oh yes. A long time. And this is the most time we spent together in, I mean, like five, if not more. Yeah. Because I guess the times that when we were growing up. We haven't had like a sleepover. No, we've never had a, hey, this is our longest sleepover.
00:05:09
Speaker
Let's go in life. Yeah, that's true. Adulthood is awesome. Yeah, in many ways. There's still sleepovers, but it's just your friends stay with you for free. They're further out.
00:05:22
Speaker
they're further away but they're longer so you have that to look forward to in life right let's make that happen anyways so yeah that was really fun and then so that day was um like okay we just went to the house went to your house got to do a house tour i was telling beth yeah like i said i was like do you want to go do things right away and we were like figuring it out and i was like why don't you come back to our house and like you know i can show you show you the deal show you what's going on and we get here
00:05:46
Speaker
And by house, I mean my apartment. But for lack of a better word, my house. And I was so excited for her to see it. And so I started giving her the little house tour. And I actually said, this is like half the reason I wanted you to come here. It was just to show you our house. Success. We did it. Could have mostly left that day.
00:06:04
Speaker
I would have missed out on so much stuff as you guys will hear. Yes. So went

Exploring Saskatoon: House & City Tour

00:06:08
Speaker
around a little house tour and then I had made Beth up a guest room because I have an office in this apartment. So we got an air mattress and I spent the whole morning before she came.
00:06:19
Speaker
I just like made it look super cute. Got some pillows, blankets, little gifts, little treat, little something, some basket, which if you follow along on Instagram, you would have seen that we, she made a reel of her little like set up and everything she was doing the morning I arrived, which was so sweet. And there was something really special about seeing the behind the scenes of that while I was on the flight. I didn't see what I was on the flight, but afterwards knowing that like when I was on the flight, you were just doing everything, which is so sweet. So that's on our Instagram.
00:06:43
Speaker
If you want to check that out. It started to make me almost not run late to picking you up because we live, you know, like our, our airports in the city. So it's not a long drive, but I am 90% sure I saw your plane landing on my way to the airport because it was the same airline and I saw it come in and it was right at the time you should have been. So I was like, I'm mostly sure that's her flight, but.
00:07:03
Speaker
Yeah. So anyway, I took her out of the guest room and she got to open up her little gift basket and we did that. And then we weren't home for very long before my husband came home and I had asked him to show for us around the city and just do a little city tour. There's some fun neighborhoods to just go look at. So we hopped in the car, went for a little drive. Went to the park.
00:07:27
Speaker
Yeah, so after we'd seen some neighborhoods, we went, I was like, oh, we have a big river. Let's go check that out. So we parked in this one area that has walking trails and stuff, but we actually ended up walking down some walking trails. And we ended up on the beach
00:07:44
Speaker
yeah of the river and we walked to that and there was just like on like stones and stuff and just like walked along the river for a while and i was like this is so funny because i hadn't actually really done that river walk and i was like first thing we take you to do and it's like an area i've never gone either but it was like chris has given the tour on this one nothing
00:08:00
Speaker
Yeah, but it was all outside and fun. It was just probably a nice walk outside after like traveling all day too.

Experiencing Canadian Summer Evenings

00:08:05
Speaker
I will say that was really nice. And one thing that I noticed from the very first day being here was so nice because it was getting to be like 6, 7 p.m. and it was still so light up. Hawaii folks will really appreciate this. It doesn't get dark until like 9 p.m. here you guys. Yeah. Like the way I was shook, it was like 8.30 and I was like
00:08:24
Speaker
Why does it look like midday? Yeah. Like it was so wild. I feel like also here, maybe I'm wrong. I mean, I guess it does kind of get darker, like a little bit, but in my opinion, it kind of is pretty steady lighting up until it gets dark. Yeah. Then the sun just like sets. Yeah. You're not getting like two hours of like, you know, back home. It's like,
00:08:40
Speaker
you kind of get like the afternoon lighting and then it gets to that kind of dusk and then the sun sets. I feel like it's a little more of a different, I don't know, I mean it's physically impossible. A few people listening are like, she's stupid. But to me it felt very cut and dry. Like it's just this light until it's dark. No, I see what you're saying. Like there, I mean, I will say we have been like in by a lot of the evenings, but I think you're right that because it stays lighter longer, it's like 6 PM. Oh, the sun is still up. 7 PM. Oh, the sun's still up. Oh, it's 9 30. The sun's finally down. Like I do kind of get that.
00:09:10
Speaker
Yeah. Yeah. So that was a lot of fun. It left more room for activities for us. So yeah, it was it was actually kind of funny because we were doing our like little park walk thing. And I can't remember quite when we got home from that, but your flight came in around like three. So it was probably like, at least minimum 630 by the time we were like figuring out dinner. And I said like, Oh, you'll notice it's still light out. She was like, well,
00:09:32
Speaker
but yeah so then we swung and we grabbed some pizza because that was just like easy then we can just hang out grab some pizza hung out and then yeah we were just talking like chris was catching up with everything and i remember how we got on a tangent but we started talking about disney movies so then we watched lion king one and a half because who wouldn't listen it was so actually i don't know how we got on a tangent either it was so good
00:09:55
Speaker
But something I love that you guys do is that you do like watch. You know what? You like movie nights. I love movie nights. It's been so fun. As you'll hear throughout today, we actually did a movie night pretty consistently. Yeah. Most nights. Most nights, which I loved and it was so nice.
00:10:12
Speaker
you know just like you guys are done for that too and it was just kind of like a part of your wind down for the evening that just like I adore that so oh good yeah we were just talking about movies and I think we were just sharing some of our favorites so then we were like oh we want to like watch each other's yeah like a couple of each other's movies so it was hard to pick only a couple we could have easily just like done movies the whole time but we picked like a couple a night one a night depending on what it was just yeah it was it was random somehow we go on the topic of certain categories of movies during that first night
00:10:41
Speaker
And so that's kind of what we chose. We wanted to show each other because I think that we have a lot of other, I think, favorite movies. But we ended up showing each other, yeah, I guess a couple of each other's favorites. And they're so random. You guys are going to just laugh as we go through each day and tell you what we ended each

Movie Night Tradition

00:10:55
Speaker
night with. Yeah. But.
00:10:58
Speaker
It's what happened. Okay. Yeah. So that was the first night was phenomenal. Yeah. Yeah. Next day was Thursday. So this is actually kind of funny. So Thursday we had talked about generally like Beth and I still planned to work while he was, while he, whoa, while she was here.
00:11:15
Speaker
While she was here, on podcast stuff, we have lots of podcast things we've been working on that we can't wait to show you guys, but then also our own personal work. We knew some stuff was still going to have to happen. Actually, I think it must have been on Wednesday, something like that, you asked if there was time for some work things. I was like, that's perfect. We can work a little bit Thursday morning. That was the plan. We'll work for a couple hours and then we'll go do the day, whatever we're going to do that day.
00:11:40
Speaker
So it was funny, I actually, you know, Chris got up for work at his normal time and I kind of got up with him and there was like silence from your room and I was like, she traveled like I'll just let her like I'll just let her sleep. So I get up. I think I remember being super nervous because I like ground coffee in the morning and I was just like, you know, but like,
00:11:57
Speaker
ground some coffee, Chris leaves for work. And I didn't start any of my own work because I thought you were going to like wake up and then we were going to like be working. So Chris left. So I did like the morning dishes and then I read for a little while and then I like did something else. And then suddenly 11 AM has rolled around because I was like letting her sleep. And I know you're not like a super late sleeper, but after travel, like, I don't know what you need to do. Like I didn't want to go wake you up. So yeah, I read, I must've done.
00:12:25
Speaker
other things, like watch a little bit of TV. I was just hanging out and I was like, let her sleep. And then yeah, it was like around 11 a.m. I was like, okay, I feel like if we're still gonna work for a couple hours, we got to like get going. So I go like gently knock on Beth's door and you were like, come in. Bright and squirrely. And I remember I opened the door and you were like, oh, are you done working? And I was like, um,
00:12:50
Speaker
That's okay. That's okay. I was like, um, funny story. I definitely thought you're still sleeping and I didn't take that time to do any of my work. I was just like reading. It was just still nice. I had a nice like relaxing morning, but I was like, um, not necessarily. I actually like haven't started.
00:13:08
Speaker
Yeah, because I was like, I thought you were sleeping. And I was like, when did you get up? And you were like, oh, like 830 or so. And I was like, oh. I did feel so bad about that. And I really did. It was OK. It worked out. But so what happened on my end of things is around, I don't know if it was 6.30, 7.30, whatever time Chris went to work, I heard the shuffling around. And I remember you had told me, oh, he's going to work in the morning. So like, you don't have to wake up that early.
00:13:34
Speaker
you know, from travel, I'm sure you'll be tired putting away the dishes so quietly. I know. No, no, no, no. So here's a thank you so much. You're so sweet. So many people just clang those in there. And that's not very fun to try to sleep through. No, so I had slept in a little bit. But what happened was I heard the early morning noises fell back asleep. And then when I woke up for the morning, I heard nothing. So I thought you were still sleeping too. Oh, that's right.
00:14:00
Speaker
Instead of getting out, because it's also, remember, it's my first day here. I'm not, although we're besties, I wasn't just going to go out into your home the first day and make myself ... Yeah, I didn't know what was acceptable if I could come out and just put myself ... I didn't want to wake you up, I didn't want to make myself too much at home. So I decided to start working. Which you could have, you know. Yeah, I know exactly what ... Believe me, our mornings look different after that.
00:14:20
Speaker
But that first morning I wasn't sure and then I just started working and again still heard nothing quiet and the thing about being very like this is a me problem I was just too nervous and shy to like open the door and check and I did at one point I think open the door and I was like
00:14:35
Speaker
I didn't see any lights I don't think or anything. So I was like, Oh, she must still be sleeping. And so I showed the door again and just kept working. And then at a certain point, I probably just got enveloped in my room and then probably assumed you were still working at the moment. She wants to work in her room alone or something. So they didn't hear you. We just didn't check it. We didn't check in. We were too. Yeah. Maybe travel brain will blame it on that. But yeah. So then I was like, I'm sorry. I haven't started anything. You were like, that's okay. Like I still have some stuff to do. Like you had a few things to handle. So I was like, cool. So it actually ended up being a pretty chill, like kind of work from home.
00:15:03
Speaker
day. But that was all right. I worked and we were talking. Our work dates are so much fun, but we definitely do talk and work. And it's actually pretty productive, but we caught up about a lot of stuff, which was super nice. We worked. And then I kind of didn't realize how late we were working until my husband got home at four. And I was like, oh, I haven't moved.
00:15:21
Speaker
but we wrapped up what we were doing and then we went to the gym and this is a fun thing Beth came to the gym with me all week and you know we've been talking about fitness a lot on this and we've been talking about being in the gym and just getting active and going with friends and all these things and we finally got to live that out. She let me get over my fear of going to the gym not that I've ever been before but I've just been voiding for so long because I had no one to go with
00:15:44
Speaker
and just also like not really knowing the machine so it was very nice going with you being so knowledgeable we talked about that we've actually been so excited for that since we talked about me visiting it was like one of the main things when you come we gotta go to the gym together just so I could like dump anything that you didn't know or and there was actually a couple things actually today that I couldn't find so it was just nice to like yeah
00:16:02
Speaker
have friends who each knew different things and just go in there. But yeah, we talked about that long before you even came. It was like, you're going to come to the gym. I'll figure out if they do guest days or whatever. So yeah, Thursday, that was our first day at the gym. We would have done legs.
00:16:19
Speaker
the leg day and it was killer. It was so good. We did all kinds of things, but yeah, it was a leg day. Yeah. And specifically, I haven't done like free weight barbell squats in a while. Like I just do lots of other things on leg day, but we decided to do those. And let me tell you, I was embarrassed cause like I've been in the gym, but it just killed both of us. It just, no, but it just like killed both of us. Like we were so sore the next day.

Joining Bible Study & Meeting Friends

00:16:42
Speaker
It was hilarious, but yeah, we did that. And then we swung to just a grocery store cause I needed to grab some ingredients for dinner.
00:16:48
Speaker
And then I just came home, made us some dinner. I made some taco rice bowls. So good. Okay, good. I'm glad they were good. Oh, and then, oh my gosh, the days are packed, y'all. So just stick with us. But Chris and I actually do an at-home Bible study once a week in our apartment. We host it, or we switch between some friends' houses, but we usually host it just with a couple of our close friends, and that's every Thursday night. So Beth's first full night, she got to come to our Bible study.
00:17:14
Speaker
was 10 out of 10. Yeah, it was so fun. And again, it was just one of those really fun moments, kind of like just getting to be in your life for a minute, I definitely crashed the party, you know, I'm sure everybody was a little bit like who's a stranger, but everyone was so kind. And actually wish I could have been here for for you know, this week's study too, but so fun.
00:17:35
Speaker
loved that. But yeah, first full day here thrown into like, yeah, it was fun. Yeah, she got to meet like some of our closest friends and it's just a couple of us but it was kind of fun. I got to have another American in the house. I was ready to defend our country. Yeah, everyone was so nice. Everyone was very polite. I know no one said anything. I was like, all right, I guess I'm intimidating. Yeah, but no, it was fun. I'm trying to think if anything else fun like came up in that moment. Well, okay, so it was kind of funny.
00:17:59
Speaker
we got there and one of our friends like noticed that there was somebody new and I was like, hey, this is my best friend, Beth. She's staying with us. And I think he took that as like, well, maybe I didn't say this is my best for Beth. No, he said, this is my friend, Beth. She's staying with, maybe you said this is Beth. She's staying with us. Yeah. And he took that as like, there's like a, like some person freeloader. I was like living with them. They took me in off the street. Like there's trouble going on. And then
00:18:24
Speaker
So, because we're in an apartment complex, later on in the Bible study, okay, this is something random. A lot of people had to take phone calls in the middle of it. Like you had already told me you had a call. I gave it, yes, I gave advance notes. I had a heads up that you had a client call to take, but actually funny, like Chris got a call.
00:18:40
Speaker
from his boss and then Talon got a call from his dad. That's just a side note. People randomly had calls. But when you stepped out for your call, we had our slider door open and then our upstairs neighbor above us started smoking pot, which is normal. It's legal in Canada. It's a normal thing to smell, but he started smoking. So I just stand up to close the slider real quick.
00:19:00
Speaker
And then one of our friends looks around and looks back and forth and he was like, what's your friend's name again? And I was like, that's Beth. And he was like, did she go outside? And I was like, no. Literally she's talking to a client in the next room. Like the way he assumed. No, it's so funny because to be fair, I didn't tell anyone except for Aylin advance. I had a phone call, but the phone call was scheduled for like two hours after the Bible study. Like I thought it would be well over by them. Yeah. We were all just hanging out.
00:19:24
Speaker
Yeah, we're hanging out. But again, I don't know these people very well. So I didn't want to be rude and be like, Oh, by the way, I gotta take a phone call. Bye. I just quietly got up and was like, yes, right. And like went out because I don't know. I think there's different rules and etiquette on that. Some people would rather be like, Oh, not to be rude. I'm taking a phone call, which in record respect, I should have maybe done. No, it's fine. I mean, it's chill, whatever, but I kind of regretted that in the moment afterwards. But anyway, so I just got up quietly to go do the phone call. And of course it lasted a lot longer than I expected. It was a client call.
00:19:49
Speaker
And then, yeah, Ayla told me that later. She's like, yeah, he definitely thought you went outside to smoke pop for a second. I was like, the way I'd be the last human on earth to do that. The way. And I was like, no, she's talking to a client. I was like, she's definitely not outside right now. Also outside in Canada, it's cold here, folks. Yeah, it's cold.
00:20:08
Speaker
but anyways it's been a little chilly so that was so fun and then yeah that was that was really great probably my favorite evenings yay but then okay so then friday we also did another small work from home just morning yeah yeah no we condensed we didn't do it as long we just like did a couple things and then we wanted to head
00:20:26
Speaker
out and about and one of the things I really wanted to do is Beth and I are big thrifters and we've got some really good thrift stores in the city so I wanted to take her to those and I think we like mulled around a few things we could do that day but we landed on like hitting up the thrift stores so we threw our gym clothes in the car for later picked up some coffee and then we hit a couple thrift stores in town we had three total one of them was actually new to me it's when I had been here to visit we really liked that one should we tell them about the suitcase um
00:20:55
Speaker
No, Chad, I didn't buy anything. What? What do you mean? I don't shop. No, just kidding. Beth didn't buy a suitcase. What? I didn't buy. I don't buy things. I'm so responsible in thrift stores. Beth didn't shop at all. I don't shop personally. I'm too self controlled for that. I didn't shop either. Neither of us bought anything unnecessary. This was a money saving trip. I already had this month. Is that not clear?
00:21:22
Speaker
I already owned this mug that I'm drinking out of right now. This was not bought at the thrift store the other day. It was not. Okay, to be fair, we found a lot of cool stuff. I love your thrift stores. It was also like $2, so, okay. Yeah, so it's done. But it's a good thrifting day. It was a good thrifting haul, couple clothes, couple things. Yeah, no, it was really fun. We definitely found a lot of good stuff. I think I wasn't expecting to find so many cute things. I really like your thrift stores. They're very well laid out. I think you have a lot of stuff. So very enjoyable to walk around. And then of course we found some fun stuff, so.
00:21:51
Speaker
And then we had to again like do a little bit of a grocery shop and we wanted to I wanted to show Beth just specifically some more of our grocery stores and just local stuff and see what I could remember that like what we don't have in the States and what we have here so we just a little scoping around found some like chips snacks candy just whatever found all the things that
00:22:12
Speaker
we have in Canada that are in the States. Oh, you got to try ketchup chips. Yes. That was back to day one, but you got to try ketchup chips. Two of my favorite things I was going to say that we don't have in the States. Number one was ketchup chips. So it's just chip ketchup flavored chips. Really good. Like they're like potato chips. They're really good. Um, it reminded me of in sixth grade, there was a foreign exchange student from Chile and they would take their lays potato chips and they would take ketchup and mayonnaise, mix it together.
00:22:36
Speaker
and dip their chips in that. And that was there instead of guacamole or salsa, that's one of the things you would do. So it tasted a lot like that, which was kind of nostalgic, but also fun and different. And then also, you guys have the Smarties here, which are, okay, for all intents and purposes describing them, they're like M&Ms. You can do it, you've got it, you know. A better, okay, okay, okay. So the actual Smarties here, they look kind of like M&Ms, and they're basically M&Ms, like chocolate with a little hard shell, but the texture's way better, in my opinion, and they taste better.
00:23:06
Speaker
So yeah, but that's not the Smarties. They have the same name as like Smarties, which are those little hard, like sugary, powdery candies. Yeah. So that's not the same thing. So Smarties here are basically M&Ms, but they're way better. And I'm definitely taking a couple of boxes home.
00:23:20
Speaker
And then we do have American Smarties here. They're just called Rockets. I forgot about that, thank you. No, that's okay. Missed that detail. But yeah, no, it was fun. So yeah, got to try that, looked at some snacks. And then we did another very Canadian thing, but I wanted Beth to try a sausage and pierogies because it's very big meal, at least here where we are in central Canada, big like a Mennonite population, like Russian Mennonite, German, and there's lots of recipes to send it from that. So for my American friends, pierogies are just, they're still hard for me to describe.
00:23:50
Speaker
Not quite dumplings, but it's just dough filled with potatoes and cheese. Yeah, if you were to take mashed potatoes and cheese and mix it up and put it in a dumpling, that's basically it. But it's so good. Yeah, and then you do that with farmer sausage and then you usually serve it with caramelized onions and sour cream. So I did all of that, mine's the Sapa cream. Nobody come for me. But yeah, anyways, came home, made that delish. So good.
00:24:14
Speaker
And I'm so glad you liked it. No, I loved it. That was definitely. So potatoes are one of my comfort foods. I absolutely love potatoes in every form. French fries, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, cut potatoes. I don't get hash browns. It's a potato. I love it. And then of course in dough.
00:24:29
Speaker
You can't mess up anything in dough. And the sausage was really good. It was also, and the onions were so good. So that was actually so amazing. Better than I thought. Because when you were describing, I was like, wow, do you mash potatoes in dough? Like, is that going to be good or is that kind of overkill? Whatever. And then it was, and I'm not typically a big sausage eater. I don't know if that was like a pork sausage or something different or what was.
00:24:48
Speaker
It would have been, like some pork sausage. It's like farmer sausage. It's hard to describe. It's not like your typical, because I totally get what you mean with like the Johnsonville breakfast sausages that we grew up with at home. They're not my most favorite. Farmer sausage is very like, it's leaner, it's meatier, it's got like more flavor, and it's not so greasy. And I'm not exactly, I'm not typically a pork eater in general, and so like just sausage is usually just something I don't really think about, but it was really, really good.

Watching the Goofy Movies with Chris and Ayla

00:25:15
Speaker
So we did that. And then one of the movies that Chris and I wanted to show Beth that I was so surprised she hadn't seen, but it was both of the goofy movies. So a goofy movie and an extremely goofy movie. Chris and I love those movies. And I kind of like we actually only watched them a couple months ago. So it's not like I forgot, but I kind of forgot how insane they are. They're kind of crazy.
00:25:34
Speaker
But yeah, so we watched those. And that was so much fun. We were all three just like cracking up. And then we watched both of them back to back because I was like, I think these are best enjoyed back to back. But we definitely started the second one at like 12, 15, like midnight, 15. And I was like, it was Friday night also. And I told Beth, I was like, Chris and I love our Friday nights. We usually stay up late. So yeah, but then it was a good like 2 AM when the other one was done. And then we woke up and did a lot the next day. But I was like, thanks for just like staying up with us. And I remember we started the second one.
00:26:04
Speaker
You were like, all right. And you got a blanket like laid down. And I was like, she's going to fall asleep. But you made it. I made it. There was a one boy in the movie in the middle of the second movie where I was a little bit like I started to my eyes got a little bit heavy, but I was like, just push through. And then, of course, some crackhead stuff happened. And then you just wake right back up. So they're not boring. It was I love them. And again, it was one of those things where I just couldn't believe I couldn't believe I hadn't seen them. I well, I yeah, I just never watched them. We never watched them when I was a kid ever.
00:26:30
Speaker
I had friends who'd seen him, but it wasn't like, I don't know. And then as I remember, I never thought to watch him. They might be more niche. I don't know. I don't have to hear from some people, but maybe slightly compared to like other classic Disney movies. I don't know. But anyways, yeah, stayed up till 2 a.m. And then our next day was a humongous day. So go us. Exactly. For powering through. So we actually we didn't overly sleep in. We tried not to sleep in as late. We got up. We got at it. And I wanted to take Beth. We were figuring out the plan. Like we had a few options of what we could do.
00:26:59
Speaker
But we decided there's this really pretty shopping area in my city. It's just got nice clothing stores and like fun restaurants. It's just like a nice walking like you could park and just walk up and down like a sidewalk like a little it's not downtown, but it's just like a little downtown ish area. And I was like, there's just some good walking around looking shopping. So let's check that out. So that was the first thing we went and did. And there's a little coffee shop on that strip that I like. So and it was kind of cool on this day. Like we're in very much
00:27:27
Speaker
spring rainy windy weather and it actually hasn't rained too much this week but it has been cloudy and just kind of like windy and our winds
00:27:38
Speaker
It's just a little bit colder than you want it to be. But anyways, we bundled up and we walked. And yeah, there was some cute shopping there. Did we? We bought like a couple. Oh, yeah. Things. Yeah. Yeah. We stopped. It was kind of. Oh, yeah. Just a couple little like souvenir cards. Exactly. Little fun things. Yeah. It was very much a sightseeing. And then you see little things that kind of caught your eye. And that was fun.
00:27:58
Speaker
Yeah, just window shopping. Good gift shopping there, which you had pointed out, and Ayla had told me there was good gift shopping, which was true. Oh, and then you were liking those stores so much that I was like, oh, there's a mall right by where we live, and I love the stuff in the mall where we live.
00:28:15
Speaker
little local shops for a mall, which is surprising, but actually like lots of local vendors and stuff that set up shop there. So we swung to the mall kind of close to where I live, did the same thing, walked around. It was really fun because you and I haven't actually been to a mall together since we were in like elementary school or high school. Yeah. So that was a fun thing. Yeah. Yeah. It felt like, cause neither of us are big mall goers, but we used to go all the time as kids. Then it was nice to have one to go to, but it's a little smaller, simpler. Which was nice. I think we both liked that and appreciate that.
00:28:43
Speaker
Yeah. And then one of the things that was on the docket for that day was, um, you know, I had been cooking some Canadian recipes for Beth, so I wanted her to bring us a little something from Hawaii. So we made, we wanted to make Spam Musubi's that night. Let's go. And Beth did say they're usually more of like a breakfast item, which was our plan, but due to timing and stuff, we just ended up making them for dinner. Still great.
00:29:02
Speaker
And we had to snag some of the supplies for it. And it's so funny because one of the ingredients we needed was so specific, we should have just gone right to an Asian market. But we insisted, we were like, maybe it'll be at Walmart, maybe it'll be at Safeway. And we looked and then we ended up having to go to an Asian market anyway. So after we had done kind of our sightseeing, there was a little bit of like,
00:29:21
Speaker
turmoil to find this like this one ingredient. Yeah, because we had everything we had the rice here, the spam, we had the you know, the nori, we had everything we're just looking for through your kake. And literally, because in Hawaii, it's in it's in like, literally every it's in Walmart Safeway, it's in grocery stores, it's in like every gas station, every ABC store, you can buy it. So I kept going on the list of like, okay, well, if it's not in Walmart, it's probably in Safeway, you know, because it's just like a little seasoning. Yeah, it's like a rice seasoning. Yeah, yeah.
00:29:48
Speaker
So we thought, but no, we had to go to an Asian mart anyway, which was fun. I bought us like some snacks there, like some Pocky, just some, some other stuff we could have. So then once that was settled, then we went to the gym again. Amazing. We did back in biceps that day. Let's go. Yeah. Getting ripped. Again, super ripped. And then came home. We made the moosabees, made those. And then we watched Beth's movie pick of the night. Yes. And I was so excited to show them. So one of my favorite movies is speed.
00:30:15
Speaker
And it's with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves. So, you know, there we go. That one. So good. So glad you guys sat through that. So that was a, yeah, we loved that one. Yeah, that one was good. And it was funny cause we were watching it and it was so intense. And then the longer the movie went on, we just started laughing at like, you know, those action movies with like crazy physics. We were just like, I think,
00:30:33
Speaker
This, this was like the turning point in the week where we were all really comfortable with each other now, like Beth and I, and then Chris in the mix. We were just cracking up at this movie. It was so much fun. It's not a movie you watch if you want super realistic. It's a movie you watch if you want to have a good time. Yeah. And it starts so serious, but then it just gets so funny. And it just gets a little, yeah, we're not going to spoil anything because I'm going to say this right now. If you've never seen Speed, I want you to go watch Speed. It's one of my favorite things ever.
00:30:57
Speaker
Okay. And before we describe our last couple of days, we're actually switching things up real quick right here. We're going to start, um, some face masks. So just hold on for a second. Like we said, it's a real raw unfiltered podcast today.
00:31:12
Speaker
Exactly. If you're listening, you might not notice, but for visual, for, you know, to really give you a picture of what's going on here. Exactly. We're switching things up. T's pushed to the side and we are about to start face masks. And I have eaten a piece of cake while this has been going on. I don't know if that was audible, but it happened. Definitely was not to worry.
00:31:31
Speaker
Yeah, so we're switching that up. So when we tell you our last couple of days, we're going to be real cozy, face masked up. Okay. All right. Get situated. Okay. So this is, this is Sunday. We're talking. Okay. So Sunday, we actually had a range. One of the other things we really wanted to do was take Beth to a range like a gun range. So, and we have another friend who
00:31:54
Speaker
who does that with us, also another one of our friends who's at our Bible study, just a close friend of Chris and I's. So we asked him if he wanted to come with us. So Sunday, I think 10 ish or so, we ended up leaving the house. And it's like about an hour drive to the range that we went to. It wasn't bad though. So we headed out. It was, oh, and we were originally going to do this on Monday, but it, sorry, that's okay. I switched areas.
00:32:21
Speaker
I'm putting a yellow face mask on Beth as we speak again. She switched from cheek all the way to the forehead randomly, and I really just ... It caught me off guard. It was startling. Anyways, keep going. Originally, we're going to do it Monday. Right, but it was supposed to rain, and I'm so glad we switched it because it did indeed rain on Monday. Anyway, Sunday we headed out, and it didn't rain, but it was, again, a little bit of cooler weather. I mean, again, for us folks in the north, it was like an okay day.
00:32:49
Speaker
It wasn't bad. I think maybe correct me if I'm wrong, I feel like I've done okay in the cold. Oh, yes. I'm trying to tough it out. Oh, yes. No, you've done great. And it was funny. So we did the range and then we came back to our house that day. And then my husband and his friend they did say like, Oh, yeah, it's a bit of a

Shooting Range Adventure

00:33:05
Speaker
chilly day. And that always as someone who also was not born and raised in Canada, it feels very validating when people tell you that it is in fact cold when you're feeling cold.
00:33:14
Speaker
Yeah, I definitely thought for a second. I was like, oh my gosh, maybe they're just trying to make me feel better. But no, she said that they just sometimes it's chilling. You just acknowledge it. So that was nice. Yeah. But anyway, I had a fun time at the range. We were out there for a couple of hours, and then we drove back. And then our friend actually came back to our house and hung out a bit. Or actually, he had to go do something. And so Beth and I watched Friends, and we played card games, which was so wholesome. I do low-key wish we had more time for that, but that's chill. We just played some card games from our childhood that we remembered, like we were trying to remember.
00:33:43
Speaker
What's it that we used to play like out at the lake all the time in the pre-technology days? So we just played some card games and then so fun always a good time. I'm always I'm such a Board game like card game person. That was just so so great here. Go ahead and real quick do the thing with your lips do that Yeah, I'm just gonna go over them real quick
00:34:05
Speaker
That did not go as well as I wanted I did not mean to just brush face mask onto your teeth
00:34:19
Speaker
you know this applicator has been doing really well except for this portion where it's just it's not would that be weird for you if i did this with my finger just for your top lip okay sorry folks hold on this is important that felt weird okay keep it together okay
00:34:42
Speaker
No. Yeah. Okay, sorry, there is a clock. You got it. Okay, there's just this one area. Thank you. Just fix it. Do you remember that one game where you have to go like, bam, and not show your teeth? Those were the vibes. Yeah, those were the vibes. You'll see. Anyways. I'm not done yet. I'm missing a chunk of my upper right.
00:35:12
Speaker
Forehand thought for sure you were done. No, Ben looked at me with such disappointment that her face mask was not done. I was like, we switching? No, we ain't. I'm not switching with you. I don't know if these harden at all. We'll find out.

Balcony Whiskey Stories

00:35:25
Speaker
Do you need a paper towel? No, it's probably just like a lotion. Yeah, there we go. This is so relaxing. Okay, good. All the other times been nice, like relaxing.
00:35:39
Speaker
Um, anyways, uh, so yeah, then our friend came over and we hung out and, um, I told Beth, I was like, Oh, like, if this is okay, like, I hope this isn't boring. Like we might just hang out and like chat. So we all went out on our balcony and hung out. And our friend had brought us like a little bit of like whiskey, cause we'll sip on like whiskey sometimes. And we all just went outside and had that and chatted for a bit.
00:35:58
Speaker
Um, and I don't remember how long we did that. I did that for a little bit, a couple hours. And then, so then he took off kind of actually earlier than we thought. So then we actually like had some time and we were like, Oh my gosh, what do we do? Should we be productive? We could just keep like playing card games. We could do what? And then I have wanted to take Beth out for another Canadian staple, which is poutine. We hadn't gotten any of that yet. And for my American friends, it's.
00:36:24
Speaker
french fries gravy and cheese curds literally heaven and then i'm appalled that we don't have it in the states because i feel like americans would go ham for that but yeah i'm so well yeah like you said i think there's really rare places you maybe can find it but yeah so i wanted to take her for poutine and i was deciding the best place to do it and canadians don't get mad if you don't think this is the best place i know there's like other places but we went and it was delicious but i decided to take her to leopold's tavern
00:36:50
Speaker
it's just a chain we have up here we call it Leo's and so anyway we had some time this evening and I was like let's go for poutine so we went to Leo's Chris and Beth and I and yeah just Chris and I had a couple beers we got some poutine Beth got like there's a flavored ones like you can do flavored poutines or you can keep it pretty simple and yeah just went out for dinner and then
00:37:11
Speaker
that one we'd filmed a little bit of content this day as well and we were so jazzed from it by the time we got back from Leo's that like we just jumped right into looking over our content like looking at photos and like editing it and stuff like we got home and I told Chris like thanks for driving us by and like we just started working on that and we got so hyped because we got back from Leo's around like 9 45 like we kind of had a late dinner so yeah we got all hyped we got kind of carried away working at our stuff and then it was definitely like
00:37:40
Speaker
almost 1am. Yeah. And we, this is where things took a turn. We got, we were just delirious. We were just cracking up at every little thing. Like we were working side by side on Beth's air mattress in her room. Isn't that so relaxing? You're about to be in a spa. Sorry, the conversation might devolve a little bit because we're both now in spa month because now I'm doing Ayla's face. Let me just tuck this little hair though. Okay. That's perfect.
00:38:04
Speaker
uh it devolved oh yes it devolved and we may or may not share some of it we're basically laughing at some content bloopers that may never see the light of day they might who knows but anyway we're just we're just having a good time but i'm saying i haven't laughed like that oh my gosh in a minute like once our first initial laugh fest was over i was like jeez i gave myself a sore throat yes i think we're both clear and i cried laughing for the first time in i think years
00:38:29
Speaker
That was so funny. That's the, it's just the way it used to be though. Like whenever we'd have sleepovers, especially if we were ever up at like that 2 AM, 1 AM mark, things were going to get crazy. You know, we, everything would be so funny. Just one of those times we can't stop laughing. So that was really fun. Yeah. That was actually ended up being one of my favorite. I mean, they're all my favorite days. Let's be honest. That was definitely one of my favorite days, I think.
00:38:50
Speaker
Um, and then, okay. So now we're on a Sunday, a little late. Oh no, that was Sunday. Sorry. Monday, which was yesterday. Yeah. Yes. So now we're on a Monday. We're catching up here folks. But yeah. So I think like probably would have been nice to like to sleep a little bit, but we actually had a big day planned to the next day. Like we, we both actually had some work in our own businesses that had acclimated that we wanted to take care of. So we were like, let's have another little work.
00:39:13
Speaker
work day, but I was like, let's get out and about. So we got like a decently early start. Oh, so this is hilarious. So my initial dream was to go to where I work in our city. And I work actually just outside our city, but so it's a little bit of a drive. And I was like, let's go. And people listening, depending on when we share this, but people listening for keeping track of the day as well know that it was a holiday. It was Victoria Day in Canada or the May long weekend.
00:39:42
Speaker
that I completely forgot about because I was kind of in vacation mode anyway, so I hadn't been thinking about it. But I was like, let's go to where I work. And we drive 20 minutes to get there before I realized they are closed for the holiday. No, it was the worst. And I literally pulled up and I told Beth, I was like, I'm so stupid. But there's another coffee shop that I loved in the city that was open. So that was a great one. A little bit of a late start, but we drove there and we were there for a minute. I'd say we got there and got settled to work around like,
00:40:13
Speaker
like 10-ish? Yeah, a little bit later. I think we worked until like 1.32. I think that sounds right. Two-ish. Had some lunch, had a lunch coffee work date, and that was productive as heck. That was a lot done that day. And their food. I think I showed on our Instagram stories, and maybe we'll do another recap just so we can see.
00:40:35
Speaker
all the things that we did, but yeah, we had like this really good breakfast and they had really good like drinks and then like coffee and tea and stuff like that. And then good cupcakes. So yeah, that was

Ayla's Creamy Chicken Gnocchi Special

00:40:45
Speaker
really fun. Yeah. And then after that, so after we were done working, we both felt like we got the most done that we needed to, I think we went home and worked for just another like maybe hour or so. Cause we just, you know, switched up our work environment for a minute. And then, um, we went to go to the gym because again, didn't miss a day folks, except for Sunday. No, we did take a rest cause we needed it. Oh yeah. I forgot to mention.
00:41:05
Speaker
Well, I don't know if everyone cares what we did every day, but we'd gone to the gym three days, needed a little rest day Sunday, so then we were back at it on Monday. So yeah, morning work date, went to the gym. Sorry, I was trying to talk while I'm doing very sensitive areas of the vase around the eyeballs. This is relaxing, isn't it? So yeah, sorry, I'll tell you. Jim, and then by the time we were done all that, it was actually close to dinner time, so I made us
00:41:30
Speaker
I made us some creamy chicken gnocchi. Which was actually one of my favorite things that you made, by the way. Really? I'm so glad. I will have to write that down. No, you do have to. I'll have to remember what I did. I know. That's how I was like, what did you do? And you're like, oh, I don't know. Just threw things together. I'm like, jeez Louise. And then Beth, we had another little movie night. And it was a Chris recommendation. But I also love this movie too. But one of his favorite movies is Faster with The Rock. So we watched that. Another like serious action packed fun deal. And that was last night.
00:42:00
Speaker
Yeah, that was really fun. That was a fun one that has the rock in it, which I was kind of shocked. I had there was a rock movie I hadn't seen. Um, yeah, that was really fun. And not as quite as late of a night as some of the other nights we had. So that was nice. Now we went to bed out of more response. Well, you were in bed
00:42:15
Speaker
like going to bed by 11. I think I was going to bed by like 12. Yeah. But. Okay. I'm having a look closer look so that I can do the rest of the face mask. Um, yeah. So then. Yeah. So do you want me to summarize today? Sure. Okay. So this morning we actually did switch up our routine a little bit and we did gym first thing. So we've been saving gym for evenings as you've heard. That was really fun. We got to see a little bit of a different gym crowd. It was cool. I think there was a lot of like
00:42:38
Speaker
absolutely ripped older people there. Like there was like this lady who was an absolute beast, Ayla said at the gym, she like is like, I don't know, in her 70s or something, and she just lifts weights, and she's so fit was on the Stairmaster for like, I swear a solid, solid 20 minutes probably. That was impressive. That was very motivating, right? Okay, that's what we need to be when we're older.
00:42:56
Speaker
Oh, and I forgot to mention, sorry, I'm going to jump back to Monday real quick. We did go to the gym and I forgot the holiday Monday got me again because we kept pushing the gym for later, like we did work and like all this stuff. Like, you know, I was actually like needed to edit some gatherings and get them out. So I was like, this has to happen, which was all good. And then I was planning like normally in our daily lives, Chris and I go to the gym between seven and seven 30 in the evening. So I was like, well, you're just going to do that. But because of the holiday, they closed at eight. Yeah.
00:43:25
Speaker
So we got there at like 7.30 on the dot and the most amazing front desk girl was like, oh yeah, you guys just made it before I closed the door. And I was like, and people were cleaning. Sweetest human. And we were like, wait.
00:43:37
Speaker
And she was like, Oh, like just for the holiday, we're actually closing at eight. And so we were like, Oh my gosh, like, is it okay? Were you even here? And she was like, Yeah, like you're good. Like, you know, go for it. We're like, Okay, we'll be quick. She was like, No worries. Like you can work out up to eight till eight o'clock like that'll be fine. So then we did the speediest and that was also legs again, we would circle back to legs. So that was the speediest leg day ever. It turned into like a bit of a HIIT workout.
00:44:01
Speaker
but it was kind of fun. Like I felt really bad for making that mistake at first, but then it kind of just like, it was fun. We were just like, okay, next one stacks. Like, let's go. And for those of you who know me, you know, I love moving fast and working fast. I'm kind of just a psycho, like everything I do, if I'm cleaning, if I'm working, if I'm picking up after an event, I'm like such a fast mover. So for me, I was like, I know you kept being like, I'm sorry. We're so fresh. And I was like, dude, I'm chilling. Like this is awesome. This is fun. It was, it's like a little, um, challenge, you know, to kind of fit everything in in a short amount of time.
00:44:28
Speaker
But yeah, so sorry. So then anyway, we started today with the gym in the morning and we got to like take our time. True. Yes. And it was a little more empty. At first we pulled up, there was a lot of cars, but the gym itself was empty. Yeah. Yeah. So anyway, did that. And then all that was left, this is Beth's last full day in Canada, which is kind of a big bummer.

Creating Podcast Content Together

00:44:46
Speaker
We're not talking about it yet, but we're not coming to grips yet. But the goal for today was some podcast content. So we're recording some in-person episodes. This is one of them.
00:44:56
Speaker
Of course. But recording some in-person stuff, taking some photos. Yes, that's been fun. Which we'll be sharing. You'll see those. When they're ready to go. Taking some photos. Taking some self-portraits, which was new for me. I introduced Ayla to the wonderful, smooth, easy world of self-portraits. Super fast. Yes. Where you need no patience whatsoever. No. And everything goes your way. Right when you want.

So yes, that was, uh, that was, don't have her camera stacked on nine books. We don't have that. And also not seven coasters and a lens cap. Nope. It is on a professional tripod. No, I definitely have a great tripod. Yeah. So yeah, I don't have a tripod. So we not only had to suffer through self portraits with the camera timer remote on your phone, which everybody who has done that knows how much of a pleasure that is.
00:45:51
Speaker
And we also have no tripods. So I really didn't set us up for success on that one. So I'm sorry. That's my phone. But they're gonna look great. We made it happen. We did. We made it happen. We're gonna keep taking photos after this is done because we have a few more in mind. But yeah, today was just podcasting. And then I don't know what the evening holds after that. It depends on when we finish. Love it. Up to our whim. We'll probably pick a movie. The world is our oyster. What movie have we run out of recommendations? Ooh, let's see.
00:46:17
Speaker
Man, if this was a live podcast, you guys would be choosing the movie that we get to watch tonight, but it's okay. That would be a good idea. But yeah, this will go up. We'll figure it out probably next week. Today's Tuesday and we have an episode go out today, so probably the following one. Yes, exactly. And speaking of which, why not just plug the episode we did today? So if you haven't heard it, go back. And the one that went out today, we talked about how to get more energy throughout your day and how it starts with your sleep cycle amongst many other things. Definitely go check it out if you haven't yet.
00:46:47
Speaker
I was not going to say, don't check it out. I know that's what it sounded like as I interviewed you. I was going to say, don't follow our pattern of, we didn't perfectly follow all of our advice in that one this week. Cause we've just, we're having so much fun. So the two, don't listen to our sleep schedule. Don't just, you didn't hear any of that. We're not saying you have to do it all the time. Anyways. Yeah. It's been really fun. And today I'd say the whole day today, it's felt a little bit like a sleepover day. So that's been, yes, we're fully, we're fully face mask up. Yeah. And now that we are.
00:47:14
Speaker
I think we better, that kind of signals the end of the episode. We gotta go wash these off our face, Zach, in a little bit. We're gonna go do a movie night and we're gonna, yeah, wash your face with stuff. We should do Lion King too. Let's go. Oh my gosh, genius suggestion. There we go. We figured it out, look at that. And then, I don't know, I guess I'll kind of recap because this episode and one other that we've pre-recorded are what's in person, so we will be back to kind of our normal flow after, but yeah, I just wanted to re-say I'm so glad we got to make this happen. Like, you too. It's, it's,
00:47:41
Speaker
putting together two friends from different countries with very busy lives. It's like, oh, it's just hard to put together. And I'm so thankful that it happened. And I'm glad like you got to do every like you liked everything we got to do. I feel like I got to show you everything. I mean, you could easily stay another week and we would just fill those days. That's true.
00:47:58
Speaker
But it's just been a good time. So thank you guys for and thank you also for interacting with all of our content about being in person like you have so far. It's been so much fun for us to make. Hopefully you guys like the stuff we're putting together in person now as far as the show goes. And yeah, I have to take you to the airport tomorrow and that kind of sucks.
00:48:16
Speaker
That does suck. This has been the best. Like you said, I could stay here another week, another month, and it's not like we would run out of things to do. I have loved stepping into your life and also just getting back together in person has been the best. We're going to have to make it happen again before another two years goes around. You guys got to remind us. Exactly. If you see that we haven't gotten together again in a few months, you got to be like, yo,
00:48:41
Speaker
Art of Intention, what are you doing? What if the show promised us more in-person content? What if the show is so much better in person? And then when we go back to- We're going to have a problem. We're going to have a problem. We're going to be like, that was, go back. Yeah, exactly. We'll have to do more meetings, of course. Yes.
00:48:56
Speaker
Well, okay. That is pretty much all we have today. Thanks for hanging out during our little recap. We will be back with our regularly scheduled content next week. You'll get to hear, I think the other episode that we prerecorded, we're going to get organized later. The episodes are going to come out and you guys are hopefully going to love them. So make sure you're following us on all of our socials so that you don't miss anything that we're up to so that you don't miss any of our in-person content, that you're just up to date on everything that is at Art of Intention podcast on Instagram.

To all the episodes that we've ever put out, ever. Exactly. All those ones we were talking about before, you can go check those out. And tell us if you like our in-person ones better, because then we're going to have to figure something out. Then we'll just have to move. Life will change. Someone's going to have to move. You want to shake up our lives. Tell us you loved these. No. OK, anyways, thank you guys so much for listening, and we'll see you next week.
