Today we dive deep into the topic of friendship. We touch on all things good, bad, easy, toxic, confusing, healthy, and more on this topic, but we round it out by sharing the concept of the inner circle and outer circle of friends, and what it REALLY means to "close your circle of friends", or, "close in on" your friendships. Great friends can be difficult to come by nowadays, so it's important to know how to identify great friends vs. good ones vs. bad ones, and how to maintain healthy friendships. We talk about how to choose who goes in the inner circle vs the outer one, and knock down misconceptions about family in friend groups as well. Overall, we think everyone struggles with friends at some point in life, so we are confident in saying this episode really is for YOU.

I used to think that all you had to do to be successful in business was just advertise hard enough. But it turns out that the age-old saying is actually true: "It's not what you know, it's who you know." Honestly, you can go far with great advertising, but you will never unlock your true potential without connecting to people and fellow vendors in your industry. It's just a fact. 

If the thought of connecting with other vendors confuses or scares you, well, that's why we made this episode! We will talk about how we learned the importance of vendor connections, and the actual steps we take to build relationships with people in our industry. We all know that our bodies are designed to protect us, and emotions like fear and nervousness can help keep us safe. What we wanted to talk about today is that, while those are very real feelings, the fact that there are many areas in life where we may need to push past our physical reaction of fear, in order to enrich our lives, and progress them in a way we never thought possible. From hanging out in crowded places, to solo travel, to skiing or cliff jumping, we talk about times in our own lives where we pushed past fear, and came out the other side with a new sense of growth and accomplishment.
