We so often hear the phrase, “Movement is medicine.” and “I move for my mental health.” and these statements can unintentionally create some unhealthy relationships with fitness and movement.
In this episode, they talk about the importance of knowing your intentions behind why you move and the integral component of self-awareness and how it can be used as a tool to help us reflect on our relationship with fitness and why we choose to engage in movement.
Eric and Marcus also talk about being able to find balance with structured movement and intuitive movement and the importance of listening to both our bodies AND our minds, for they will always have the answers. You just have to listen.
