Dare we hope? Trump's resounding victory and other post-election wins

Haley does a post mortem on the whole 2024 election season.

What went wrong, what went right, and why she wasn't surprised at all by Trump's decisive victory.

Even in the few short days since his big win, we're already seeing reasons for hope and optimism in Trump's early personnel decisions.

He is leaving the neocon warhawks behind and is committed to an America First agenda rooted in non-interventionism, peace, and prosperity, pulling in many elements of Ron Paul's ideas and platform.

Finally, libertarian ideas are being taken seriously! Is this too good to be true? Time will tell!

Haley also has some updates and announcements about the future of the show and what she's been up to lately.

You don't want to miss this exciting episode!

Introduction and Zencastr Features

00:00:00
Speaker
If you've listened to my show before, then you've surely heard me rave about podcasting with Zencaster. I love using Zencaster because they make podcasting easy. And I'm happy to announce that the platform that makes podcasting easy is making it even easier. Zencaster now enables you to create your own clips with captions as part of the post-production process.
00:00:24
Speaker
Now, you could keep creating clips the sucker's way, which is how I was doing it up until now, which entailed watching segments of your podcast on your phone, screen recording your phone, trimming the clip, importing it to CapCut, adding in some captions, and then finally exporting them back to your phone. I mean, it worked, but it wasted hours of my time. With Zencaster, all you have to do is look through the transcript, highlight the sections you want clipped out, choose your font styles for the captions,
00:00:53
Speaker
and they take care of the rest. Easy peasy. So if you like doing things the easy way, then check out Zencaster. Go to libertyalliancenetwork dot.com slash zen, spelled Z-E-N to get started. That's libertyalliancenetwork.com slash zen. Let's get back to the show.

Episode Overview and Election Reactions

00:01:31
Speaker
All right, welcome back to another episode of Liberty Alliance Networks. What can we do? I'm your fun, feisty, fearless, and truth-telling host, Hailey Heathman, and I am back at you with a solo cast episode. And actually, I'm just i'm just so happy to be back at you whatsoever. And um yeah, it's been ah it's been a minute. We'll talk about that at the end. So if you don't care to know updates and everything, just, you know, I'm going to get started with the meat of it right away, but I will have some Updates and announcements at the end of the show so if you want to stick around and hear kind of what's been going on with haley lately i'm still stay stay to the end and and i'll have some um fun announcements and updates to ah bring to you but i'm in the meantime. I mean gosh what of course we're gonna talk about the obvious thing which is the election and i'm.
00:02:24
Speaker
I'm just ah well for various reasons i mean i was super happy about the results of the election and i'm. Today on sunday i was today some sunday the the tenth of um november has has brought me some elation and i. hate I say that without I mean like I have been elated today in a way that I haven't been in a very very very long time so let's break this down um we're gonna have to cycle back because again it's been it's been a little while since I have um been able to talk to you guys and I miss it I hope you miss me too just a little bit um but yeah so um we've got some catching up to do um but yeah so
00:03:10
Speaker
In the weeks right prior to the election, um I think you saw more and more people coming out of the woodwork in favor of um Donald

Trump's Coalition and Political Dynamics

00:03:21
Speaker
Trump. And I myself had been leaning that way for quite some time, probably longer than um a lot of other people. I was a little bit more open to his term, but again, I always couched it. And if you guys have been listening to me, you you kind of knew, especially the VP pick was going to be big for me um in indicating whether he'd changed his tune. And and in hindsight, I mean, I hate to toot my own horn, but JD Vance was an extremely strong pick for the vice presidency. And we saw that play out as the campaign got rolling in those final weeks and months.
00:03:55
Speaker
And in particular with the debate performance with Tim Waltz where he just annihilated him. But he did it and in in such like a, it it was just like so effortless. It was just so effortless. It was like watching yeah a cat bat around a mouse, you know, like just toying with them a little bit. And and rather than eating the mouse at the end, he just kind of like let the mouse go. He's like, nah, I could have eaten you, but I didn't because I'm not that kind of cat.
00:04:21
Speaker
That's essentially how how J.D. Vance handled Tim Waltz. It was not even a contest. Waltz was so outmatched. J.D. was a class act, a master class in debating, and I was just thrilled. um And then, of course, you know you had all the announcements about the coalition building that Trump was building around him. I mean, from ah RFK Jr. and his running mate Nicole shout Shanahan, who I was not very familiar with um prior to this. And um I know RFK took some heat initially um when he tapped her to be his VP pick. And I stayed out of that. I didn't have an opinion. I didn't know enough about her. But I mean, ultimately, um she was a huge asset. She is
00:05:02
Speaker
ah Really, I mean, from what I've seen of her, and I still don't follow her super closely, but she's a really impactful person. And um she went to bat for Trump and team Trump, and she put out some really powerful videos that I really do think speaking to her audience, which is a lot of Democrats or independents or, you know, health freedom people.
00:05:21
Speaker
And I really do think that that helped move the needle significantly in Trump's direction, um you know, in a way yeah that it wouldn't have moved otherwise. They they made it okay. They made it, um that you know, normalize being able to vote for Trump and saying, you actually support these ideals because, you know, previously, anytime somebody says that they support Trump, you know, especially people, you know, liberty minded people or independents,
00:05:47
Speaker
You always have to couch it in language of like, you know, we always have to start with the five reasons why you don't support Donald Trump. Now, I don't agree with this and I don't agree with that. And as time went on, it kind of became just easier and easier to just come out and say, no, I like Trump. He's doing some good things because I do think we started seeing signs of, yeah, he's he's learned some of his lessons. I think I think when you get shot at twice,
00:06:16
Speaker
or attempted assassination and assassination assassinations twice, you might change your perspective on a few things. You might realize who actually you're up against. Now, maybe he started realizing that um before, but I do think it's not a coincidence that shortly after his first attack assassination attempt, that's when he tapped JD Vance to be his vice president. I mean, vice president, I mean, that was I think telling. um you know Kamala obviously just put on a joke of ah of an election, of a campaign, um and anybody with eyes to see who isn't just a partisan hack saw that. i mean she couldn't She couldn't do an interview without a a teleprompter or without talking points she couldn't speak off the cuff she refused to talk to the press um and the few times she did speak to the press it was a disaster an absolute disaster she squandered the opportunity to sit down with rogan and probably it was actually probably for four.
00:07:17
Speaker
Her benefit because we all know she couldn't hang with a rogue. She's got nothing. There's no there there She doesn't have three hours worth of thoughts in her head to be able to go toe to toe with a rogue I mean, there's nothing there. There's no there there. She was a puppet just a literal puppet for the machine. she you know And I think that the Dems got so you know um arrogant and you know big you know bigger than their britches, or whatever that saying is, um big in their britches, to think that they were they had such a machine behind them, they've got the media machine, they've got the voter fraud fraud machine, that they had such a machine behind them, that they could just put any old person in the presidency now because
00:07:57
Speaker
They're going to win anyway. And so it didn't really matter. So they did. I mean, you know, whatever a coup, coup Joe Biden and somehow ah selected Kamala who, you know, despite all the Democrats, you know, whining and screaming about democracy, democracy, Kamala never received a single vote from anybody at any point in her, you know, ah bid to become the most powerful figure in at least America, if not the world. I mean, nobody voted for her, not in her previous election bid, nor in this one.

Campaign Strategies and Media Critique

00:08:31
Speaker
So talk about being completely and utterly and entirely undemocratic for the party that just screams about democracy and we have to save democracy and Trump's going to be down with democracy. So um yeah, but I mean, I really can't say enough about um
00:08:48
Speaker
you know Trump and the coalition he built, and then you know you had people like on the ground like Scott Pressler and and you know Cliff Maloney and other people who really made a play for Pennsylvania. and That happened because Vivek knifed Rana Romney McDaniel in in one of his debate performances when he was still running and in the primary. Vivek, how Tulsi Gabbard basically bodied ah tulsi ah sorry, ah Kamala you know in the previous primary and basically killed any chances she had. When the vague was up on that debate stage and publicly and loudly called out the awful atrocious Rana Romney McDaniel, who was the former RNC head or president or whatever. who's ah you know I mean, she doesn't use the name roney Romney, but she is related to the Romney family. That's like her maiden name or something like that.
00:09:39
Speaker
So it's used as a smear because, basically, obviously, we all know Romney is ah one of the awful rhino stooges, one of those never trumpers, et cetera, et cetera. And so when he kind of, when Vivek came out and basically made it okay to kind of call Ronna out, um and then ultimately she was replaced or stepped down or somehow they wrestled her out, um and they replaced her with Laura Trump, who is Donald Trump's daughter-in-law, I believe.
00:10:06
Speaker
um And then then they started doing some real things to you know um about election integrity to secure the elections. That's when, because Scott Pressler, and if you know he's the persistence, he's been a huge force um on the republican side about um chasing down ballots and registering republicans and all over the country but he he literally moved to buck county pennsylvania so number one he could be a voter there he became a resident because he moved there and he spent the whole summer since june basically planted in pennsylvania getting republicans and legions of amish
00:10:50
Speaker
people who have been persecuted by this you know leftist insanity, the dictators and tyrants and authoritarians in Pennsylvania that are all corrupt as hell. And so Scott Pressler planted himself there, got 100,000 plus Amish people registered and drove them and and helped them you know um fill out their ballots and everything and and taking them to the polling places, et cetera, et cetera. And ah him and ah another you know some other groups that basically
00:11:22
Speaker
made a huge play and had they not done that had rana romney mcdaniel not cleared the way had they not got her out of the way she was she was kinda hampering all that she was not communicating she wouldn't return scott presser's calls she was gonna basically just sit on her hands the whole time and not.
00:11:39
Speaker
help Trump get reelected, and so we got her out of the way. um you know Obviously, he formed a huge coalition, Vivek. I've been positive, and I've spoken highly of Vivek. He's impressed me. i mean I know there are people in my circles, people who I respect, and for whatever reason, they don't think as highly of Vivek as I do.
00:12:02
Speaker
I personally, I mean, yeah, there's maybe some question marks in his past. I mean, like the problem is at some point you can't just, you can't be, you you got to put away these purity tests. You got to put away these purity tests. Like nobody's perfect. Everybody maybe's, you know, got some tie to something somewhere. I mean, there I mean, there's only one Ron Paul.
00:12:25
Speaker
As far as i'm concerned he's the only pure soul among us um and everybody else is gonna have some faults that's it and so but but you know we on our side we're just so. I mean look yeah you can't water it down too much but at the same time you gotta play the game a little bit you gotta play the game so i liked the big he came out strong he he was so strategic he did he was making the strategic moves even when he was in the primary.
00:12:50
Speaker
He never spoke out against Trump. I think he knew what his play was all along. And he got the libertarians on board, not with first with the vague. And then through his advocacy and his like bridge building between libertarians and the Republicans, um was able to bring a lot of the Republicans over to his side because of his willingness to listen to our concerns. And he know who and i mean he knows a good deal about libertarian ideals and principles.
00:13:17
Speaker
and um was able to speak to us and hear our concerns and and and agree with 95% of what we've been saying, and he and he was in the Trump's ear. So he's been in their ear being being able to relay these libertarian messages and and um concerns to those closest to Trump.
00:13:41
Speaker
um And so to have him, Vivek be kind of a bridge and he was going on, you know, like Dave Smith's podcast and multiple times, Clint Russell, Liberty Lockdown with Clint clit Russell. um He went on there a ah number of times as well. And again, I've always been impressed with him.
00:13:59
Speaker
I always say, look, nothing's ever said and done. It is politics. So yes, I'm always... you know I don't put these people on pedestals. I can like them and I can appreciate some of the things that they say and some of the things that they stand for without necessarily putting them on a pedestal where I i can't come back and then also criticize them at some point too. And I think that's the difference between me and lots of other You know pundits out there who i mean like look if you're paid to be team trump you gotta be team trump no matter what you know like the laura loomers out there who thoroughly you know discredit and debase yourself or on the other side man. um It was quite a sight to behold to watch mark cuban.
00:14:39
Speaker
Debates himself so far trying to kiss the ass of Kamala Harris and trying to get her over I mean it was embarrassing. It was embarrassing watching him show for Kamala Harris. Come on, dude I mean you might you you're like wondering what what does what do they What do they have on Cuban? Was he at some Diddy parties? Did he go to Epstein's aisle? because i mean just like i mean It was embarrassing for somebody who should know better, for somebody who should know better to watch Mark Cuban get out there and try and defend Kamala's both her her record and her platform that she was trying to campaign on. It was
00:15:15
Speaker
Wow, and and actually at the end he he killed it himself. I don't know how he comes back because now he just looks like a joke. Everybody is laughing at him because finally at the end when he made the accusation that Trump doesn't have any strong women surrounding him. I mean, I think they pulled him off the campaign trail after that because he caught so much flack for that. um So yeah, then um back to the campaign, then you know you had ah RFK Jr., you've got Nicole Shanahan, you've got JD Vance, you've got Vivek.
00:15:42
Speaker
all super intelligent well-informed well-intentioned principled men or women people will say um not just your typical like lackeys establishment they have real things of substance to say not like the Kamala Harris repeated Boring platitudes that was the other thing about the Kamala campaign. She couldn't not speak in a platitude. I mean, you know ah Her talking points. Well, we you know, we believe in America and America has dignity We believe in the muted beauty of the American dream. I mean just these tired cheesy talking point Nobody wants to hear you talk like that. Nobody wants to hear you talk like a politician talk like a real human being talk like a real human being and that's what I I think finally started to break through with this coalition of you know ah that that Trump was putting together of people from all different backgrounds. i mean Obviously, RFK Jr. was trying to run as a Democrat, and he has been a Democrat his whole life.
00:16:43
Speaker
But at least he's sane enough to understand, man, the left has gone so far. i can't you know And again, they knifed ah RFK in the back too, just like they did with Bernie, however many

Media Influence and Election Outcomes

00:16:52
Speaker
times. And anybody else that tried to stand in the way that was trying to be a populist in their party, they knifed them all out. um And then, of course, Elon. Elon Musk finally came out swinging. And he we can't overstate how much him buying the X platform, the Twitter platform, and turning it into a free speech mecca.
00:17:10
Speaker
tipped the scales um in our direction. i mean Having one solid platform that was not engaging in any censorship that was allowing a free flow, free exchange of ideas, um you can't overstate how important that was. I think that that was decisive as well. so so These were i mean great champions. Again, Elon Musk, look, again, question marks.
00:17:36
Speaker
yeah Sometimes you got to form, you know, politics makes strange bedfellows. So I don't know. Is it still possible that Elon is not one of the good guys and yes, he's an early and he's going to transhuman us. And I mean, look, yes. And when that happens, um, I'll call that out too, you know, but for right now, I mean, he appears to be on our team and he's doing the right things. So you gotta, you gotta to kind of just, you gotta take these.
00:18:02
Speaker
I don't know, um things as they come along, you can't be so rigid I guess and I think that's the problem you know with these purity tests and then you get people that fold their arm and they're just too good, I'm too good to vote and that was like,
00:18:15
Speaker
kind of What I was getting you know towards the election day, I mean i voted early. and in and There were so many signs leading up to the election that Donald Trump had all the momentum and that things were going his way. i mean From the you know alternate media, him going on all these podcasts, again, speaking to normal people like a normal guy. and you know, being able to have a sense of humor and his McDonald's. I mean, look, that was awesome. That was a great publicity moment for publicity. And and not just that he was going to go work at McDonald's, but because he was doing it to make fun of Kamala Harris, who obviously lied about her past and is trying to pander to the middle class by pretending to be one of them when we actually know she wasn't, that she's just this out of touch elitist that
00:19:06
Speaker
sneers and jeers at lower class and middle class citizens, you know? I mean, so it was actually, it was like a chef's kiss. um Great publicity, great PR, um ah so smart. And so, you know, you could just tell, you could just feel. And so like I was, by the time voting came around and just seeing how atrocious, and you just can't say how enough bad things about the left and the Democrat party and the media. I mean, may my word once, um Trump obviously was getting the momentum and then and then just to see the media Ramp up the lies even but just when you thought they couldn't get any worse just when you thought they couldn't get any worse here they are Getting worsey worse than they ever worse were I mean whatever you want to say but like especially at the end when he they've tried to pretend that that Donald Trump said he wanted to put Liz Cheney up in a firing squad I'm like
00:20:03
Speaker
you you guys are It's not even a bias. You guys are flat-out lying. That is a flat-out lie. Trump in no way, shape, or form said he wanted to put Liz harris or liz Cheney sorry ah in a firing squad or or whatever. I mean, he was not wishing death or violence or anything like that. and That's just a flat-out lie.
00:20:23
Speaker
That's just a flat out lie. And then I think also too, the non endorsements from several prominent publications, you know, the Washington Post, the l LA Times, ah there are some others too. I can't remember. Oh, the USA Today.
00:20:38
Speaker
um And others, they all refuse to endorse anybody, that you know which basically, I mean, that's ah a death knell too. That was a huge sign. They didn't endorse Trump, but because you would expect all these news you know media publications to be endorsing the Democratic candidate. So even though they didn't have to come out and endorse Trump, their non-endorsement of Kamala said enough. um And Jeff Bezos catching so much flack for not doing that and all the freaking liberals you know canceling their subscriptions. how dare you that you can't sit this one out, you know? And Jeff Bezos even having to, um you know, put out an op-ed basically explaining his decision now, perhaps. And he kind of, again, hinted or or played footsie with the fact that, yeah, we need to start doing things differently. Nobody trusts the media anymore. Oh, you don't say.
00:21:31
Speaker
How long did it take you to figure it? Did you just now figure that out? Wow. you know And you're supposed to be smart. You're supposed to be a smart guy, Jeff Bezos. You've put together, you know flown people to rockets and everything. And you know you put together the largest company and in the world basically. And you just now are figuring out the people don't trust the media.
00:21:56
Speaker
Wow. So um you could see the tide turning in real time. So um yeah, by the time it was time to vote in Florida, I think the the polls open like two weeks or so before election day. And I didn't go on the day, but it was within a few days because I was just so ready. I'm so ready to cast that ballot. and like You know for somebody who as you heard if you've been paying attention I was hemming and hawing about it throughout the year at various stages Just uh, maybe can I bring myself to bring for Donald Trump now when it came down to it? It was the easiest Most exhilarating decision I've ever done or or vote I've ever cast I'm like and just because it just felt like the biggest
00:22:37
Speaker
F U to everybody, to the whole establishment, to the whole left. I am so done with these leftist lunatics and they need to be thoroughly smashed and repudiated and that is why I'm so happy about what happened.
00:22:53
Speaker
over the election that not just that Donald Trump won, not just that he obviously got you know the electoral vote, but that he won so so big, he got the popular vote too. He got the House. He got the Senate.
00:23:08
Speaker
He has a mandate and you can't deny that. And that, you know, because if he would have just gotten the electoral college, you would have heard again, screams and cries, abolish the electoral college. You know, I mean, like they do, whatever. Cause they have no understanding of the system, you know, but they couldn't do that this time. They couldn't do that. Cause he got the popular vote too. men and a booboo You know, so take that, eat that libs, eat shit and whatever libs, you know, I'm so tired of them. And um yeah, so that's ah that's a mandate. That is an absolute mandate. That was a thorough repudiation and renunciation of the whole leftist agenda. People are tired of it. People want change. People want politicians who are gonna be responsive and listen to the needs and the will of the people. And rather than just doing business as usual, pushing ridiculous,
00:24:06
Speaker
agendas that have nothing to do with the well-being of American citizens, you know, this is this stupid woke DEI nonsense that nobody gives a shit about. When I can't put food on the table, I don't care, you know, about your woke politics. I have real real problems. You're trying to make me care about fake problems and your pronouns and your microaggressions. I don't give a shit.
00:24:27
Speaker
People don't give a shit when they don't know how they're going to buy groceries next week. When life gets more and more expensive, when insurance keeps getting higher, when everything gets getting costlier, when they can't afford to make a living, when people who are just trying to be out there and make an honest living and do right and do the right thing can't even afford life to live and nobody is doing anything and they're making you instead making you care about freaking pronouns and microaggressions and you know introducing kids to porn as early as possible I mean just disgusting disgusting things
00:25:06
Speaker
and you know And so, of course, you know the liberals were um caught by surprise. They had no idea once again that Trump was going to win. They had no idea that that, oh my gosh, how could this happen? Because they were assured. They were assured that Kamala was going to win in a landslide. Now, maybe it wasn't quite as assured as a Hillary Clinton victory was, but they were still oh so certain that this was going to happen. Part of the reason was because, well, number one, they live in an alternate reality. They live in a bubble.
00:25:35
Speaker
Um, number two, because shortly before the election, just days before the election, there's a, um, pretty prominent political pollster in Iowa named Ann Seltzer who, um, put out a poll and she's been doing this for decades. So she seems to know what she's doing. She's respected. She's well regarded. And she put out a poll just days before the election saying that Kamala Harris had a three point lead over Trump in Iowa. Like,
00:26:06
Speaker
I mean, yeah, so of course the liberals were like, hell yeah, yeah, he's good they're gonna take all the swing states and Iowa, this is gonna be a schlacking because, and then what happened in reality? What happened in reality? Well, Trump won Iowa by 13 points. So she was off by 16, by 16 points. What was that?
00:26:28
Speaker
What was that? Other than just an outright bald-faced lie trying to astroturf freaking Kamala Harris to the presidency. No, thank you. These people lie. They lie shamelessly. They lie unabashedly. They lie all the time with every breath that they take. And so, you know, I am not being hyperbolic.
00:26:51
Speaker
And I've seen other pastors that say the same thing, but you know, when I say that the Democrat party and liberals and kind of in general, but whatever, however you want to frame it.

Accountability and Political Principles

00:27:02
Speaker
But when I say that they are under the influence.
00:27:06
Speaker
of satanic and demonic influence. That's what I mean because satan is the author and the father of lies and the entire everything that liberals and democrats believe is just lies lies lies lies on top of lies on top of lies on top of lies and all they do is lie to each other lie about each other lie about reality in trying astroturf and gaslight, a whole new reality into existence because of their hatred of natural order and God's creation and everything like that. That's what I say. They are under the service and spell of Satan and his demonic influences. There is no other explanation for that. And it doesn't matter. You can try as we have might.
00:27:53
Speaker
to get these people to wake up and try and tell them the truth and they are just absolutely, will not hear it, will not hear it. And so um yeah, they were of course, I mean, shocked at the result of the election and um you know much you know nobody was surprised that they were shocked. And of course you got the usual barrage of ah childless cat lady tiktok videos of people want wailing and crying and like it's I mean it's been I mean a tree I've been glued to social media this week because I just I just can't look away I can't look away this is just like next level I don't even this has been insane it's been such a
00:28:37
Speaker
entertaining and so and it like, wow, I mean, it's been something to behold, that's for sure. And um yeah, so um now, of course, hey, Trump's elected, job's not done, job's just getting started. um Where do we go from here and now are our order of business is we had need to make sure that trump. Holds keeps his promises i mean you know just because we want you gotta make sure he still the job ain't done yet we're just getting started um he's gotta keep his promises and so like one of the first things like look if you're not on x you gotta be on x that's where it's happening right now people are like twitter isn't real life it is.
00:29:14
Speaker
It actually is nowadays. It is one of the the um you know the town square, the marketplace of ideas. they are the The people in power right now, that the coalition, they are have i mean with especially with Elon being on board with all this, their ears to the ground. and Twitter is becoming the new public forum, the new public square where we can voice our ideas.
00:29:35
Speaker
And actually, and maybe this hasn't always been the case, you know, but especially in these last, this last maybe year, um actually be heard, actually be heard by the people who supposedly represent us. And so, you know, people are taken to to Twitter and what of course those in our circles, libertarian circles, um first thing out out of the gate is, you know, making sure, you know, like all the hashtag free Ross, free Ross, like, yes, we want to make sure that Trump remembers his promise to the libertarians who actually did help to deliver his victory. I mean, I think the large majority of libertarians actually ended up, I mean, because just for various reasons, Chase Oliver being a uniquely awful candidate, um amongst other things. but um
00:30:23
Speaker
Yeah. So I think ah the libertarians actually did come out in huge numbers for Trump and ah with I think endorsements at the end coming from Dave Smith, Clint Russell, Tom Woods came out basically and said, I'm voting for Trump. So, I mean, I was already leaning that direction and I didn't need their endorsement. I think by the time they'd endorsed him, I'd already voted for Trump. So I'm ahead of the curve as always. Thank you. Thank you.
00:30:50
Speaker
um But yeah, they came out and endorsed Trump because again, the other side is just so awful. I said, this isn't 2012. This isn't Mitt Romney versus you know Barack Obama, where we said there wasn't a dime's worth of difference between the two parties. That was true back then. It was absolutely true in 2012 and even maybe 2016. I don't know. But 2008, 2012, a little bit less so in 2016. We used to say, there's not a dime's worth of difference between the two parties.
00:31:17
Speaker
That couldn't be further from the truth right now. that that that There is a chasm. There is an absolute chasm between the Democrats and Republicans right now. That that that doesn't mean all the Republicans are great. in And it doesn't mean we're not going to hold their feet to the fire. We absolutely will. We absolutely are. We're not going to just you know jump on the MAGA Trump train. no I mean, at least not the people I know. I'm not 100% hardcore Trump.
00:31:42
Speaker
I intend and I will call him out when he makes bad choices and he's going to when he does, makes bad decisions. I will call him out for that. I'm not just a, you know, uh, coal. I'm not joining the cult of personality. I don't do that. I don't do that. I'm just, I don't care. I'm principle over party, principle over party over people.
00:32:03
Speaker
Politicians lie. They all lie. They all, you know, whatever. So I'm not just gonna blindly support and throw my allegiance behind some of these politicians just because they happen to be saying and doing the right things right now. I will always, always stand in truth and principle. And just because somebody I like right now is saying and doing the right things, when they stop doing it, I'm gonna call them out on it.
00:32:24
Speaker
And that's what i intend on doing with president trump even though i voted for him doesn't mean i'm just gonna get behind him everything he does how now and so that's what you're seeing right now on twitter and now on x is. um People yeah going out there okay free ross free ross and so now and so then there are rumors that. um Somebody was spreading rumors that um Mike Pompeo, awful, atrocious, horrible, neocon, war hawk, CIA, deep state, extraordinaire, blood-soaked monster Mike Pompeo was still being floated for a potential position within the Trump administration. and um you know Everybody on Liberty conservative Twitter was like coming out in force.
00:33:09
Speaker
over the last few days, basically hashtagging no Pompeo, no Pompeo. I mean, it was and I was retweeting like every anti Pompeo post being made just to amplify the message and kind of get, you know, keep it in front of people's faces. And then lo and behold, last night,
00:33:28
Speaker
um Donald Trump made a ah post um saying that basically saying that neither Mike Pompeo nor Nikki Haley were being considered in the administration and thanked them for their service and it was a pleasure working. he was actually For him, quite diplomatic about it. um He didn't go out of his way to insult either of them, kind of how he can do sometimes. So he actually thanked them for their service, but basically let us know he's not considering either of them for an administration. So it's like, yes, yes, it is working. It is working. He is listening to us. The right people are finally listening to us.
00:34:07
Speaker
And so that was like that was the start of like, hell yeah. like I'm starting to feel really optimistic and really um hopeful about this administration um and what's going on. That was like the first big win. it was like Because if he would have tapped Mike Pompeo for anything, it would have been an immediate you know basically torpedoing his administration even before it got out of the gate that would have been an immediate kind of like reverse course from everything he's been saying oh so you didn't actually learn anything oh man all this was for not okay whatever no this is a new administration
00:34:47
Speaker
and i was excited about it and i'm gonna go off on a side tangent just because i want to tell this story but um a few years ago it was after the 2020 election um and uh just after the 2020 election it was like in january of 2021 or so, and Colonel Douglas McGregor, who was fantastic. And he unfortunately was only in the Trump administration for a few months when it was kind of too little too late at that point in time. But Colonel McGregor is fantastic. If you've ever listened to him, he's been, he's, you know, on the non-interventionist side. He is very um rational and sane, not a deep state shill. And so he came to speak in my my area and my mom and I went to go see him speak and everything. and so after his speech and everybody was kind of mingling around and we got a chance to pull him aside and stop him and have a little bit of a conversation and my mom at the time was still a little bit of a boomer con. I mean she was a conservative but she was still kind of boomer con-ish and you know had the like neocon like she still thought Nikki Haley was the bee's knees and she loved Pompeo and everything and so we're kind of
00:35:49
Speaker
talking to colonel mcgregor and my mom kind of said something about this and i was like no way i said no mike pompeo and nikki haley they're both snakes you know don't know no way and so colonel mcgregor easily he looks at me he looks at his at my mom he goes is this your daughter and she she kind of was like proud she goes well yeah uh-huh and he kind of just without missing it get with way without missing a beat he goes listen to your daughter
00:36:13
Speaker
So I lured that over my mom to this day when Colonel McGregor told my mom to listen to your daughter because I was obviously right back then about Mike Pompeo and Nikki Haley. I done been right. I done been right. Yeah. So um so that was win number one. Win number two. So I was again scrolling Twitter this morning and much to my delight. I mean, again, I couldn't even believe it. um you know dave dave smith he's been on a tear he has been absolutely amazing he's been heroic for speaking the truth speaking of power for carrying the mantle um of liberty you know after ron paul and continuing to you know speak unpopular truths even you know in the face of the enemy and and lots of you know being the only pundit on certain shows and places where he's you know holding the ground and and being
00:37:04
Speaker
Piled on by all the other commentators who absolutely know nothing and so he's been Just awesome. He gets on Rogan and so he's been getting on Rogan quite a lot and um He was on Rogan. I'm not sure shortly before the election I'm not sure when but he was actually the first one that I think that Rogan reached out to after the election to ask to have on his show To do an election breakdown. What an honor. What an honor to be the first person to Rogan thinks of to give political commentary on the election after a Donald Trump win. Wow, that shows you how much clout you know Dave Smith now has um from just doing speaking truth to power these all these years. Kind of like Ron Paul, doesn't matter how unpopular in the mainstream, these ideas are, we're gonna be out there speaking the truth anyway and standing you know for peace and prosperity.
00:38:04
Speaker
and non-intervention and getting us out of these stupid pointless wars. and and And Dave Smith has been relentless and passionate and amazing about spreading that message and spreading the word. So, um you know, going back to that whole like we we, on the Twitter sphere, basically, you know, retweeting, no Pompeo, no Pompeo. And finally, you know, Trump came out and said, um You know that ah yeah, we're not going to do that. And so Dave Smith, you know, he made a tweet and he goes, well, the stop Pompeo movement is great, but it's not enough right now. We need a maximum pressure to keep all neocons and war hawks out of the Trump administration. They have had their time at the table and brought nothing but disaster to the world.
00:38:44
Speaker
And of course, he's speaking the truth again. So imagine my delight this morning as I'm getting ready for church and scrolling Twitter and seeing that Donald Trump Jr.
00:38:58
Speaker
Retweeted that tweet from Dave Smith saying agreed 100 100 100. I'm on it I am on it Donald Trump's son Donald Trump jr Agrees with Dave Smith about keeping the warhawk blood hung bloodthirsty Blood-soaked monsters that have been getting us into these wars for decades out of the new Trump administration Amen hallelujah praise God somebody is listening

Libertarian Ideas and Influential Endorsements

00:39:26
Speaker
to us. I can't say how excited that made me. I was a little, well, I was happy at first. i I mean, I was still happy, but you know, that was like, I was, yes, I mean, again, we're still winning. Like this is so amazing for people like, you know, libertarians who have been, it feels like screaming into the void for such a long time when we know we've been right about a lot of these things that Ron Paul has been proven right in spades a thousand times over about almost everything he's ever predicted or, you know, talked about.
00:39:55
Speaker
over the course of his career, only to be ignored, laughed at, ridiculed, smeared, etc. and We've stood behind and we've continued speaking truth to power, etc., even when it seemed like nobody was listening. and so To have this validation, to have somebody in power starting to take our ideas seriously is like
00:40:19
Speaker
Amazing. It's such an amazing feeling. And so, as if that weren't enough. As if that weren't enough. um Shortly after that, on Twitter, again, if you're not on Twitter, you need to get on Twitter because this is where it's happening. This is where it's happening right now. um So again, I told you Dave Smith was on Joe Rogan after, you know, the day after the election, giving his election breakdown. And so again, Dave Smith just did a Dave Smith and he just went to town just tearing up, tearing the media, a new asshole for just being the lying,
00:40:51
Speaker
Awful people that they are and especially because they just lie and they lie and they lie And then they try and take the moral high ground themselves, you know, like they sneer at the rest of us and so Dave Smith just did a a perfect job of calling them out and again, just tearing into them. um And so Elon Musk took that clip of Dave Smith just you know ripping the media and you know how awful they've been and and promoting all these wars and everything. And he retweeted it and said exactly.
00:41:26
Speaker
Can you imagine the president's son and the world's richest, maybe most powerful man finally giving libertarian ideas and people his approval and agreeing with us? I mean, I was like,
00:41:48
Speaker
Pinch me. Is this real? Is this real? Pinch me. um I can't believe it. I can't believe it. I'm just beyond elated. I i dare say I'm i'm i'm trying to, you know, I'm so used to disappointment, so I'm trying to temper my my optimism and my hope, but I'm like, oh my gosh, dare we hope? Dare we hope?
00:42:07
Speaker
that we are gonna get something done, something tangible, something, you know, a real victory for liberty. And maybe, hey, look, I know we're not gonna get everything that we asked for. I get it. I know we're not gonna get everything. But my goodness, if we even got a fraction of it, that would be 10 times better.
00:42:25
Speaker
than anything we would we would have gotten from any other president. And, of course, you're going to have the naysayers. See, he didn't do this. See, he didn't. At this point, screw you. I just I just hate people who are just so, you know, they're just going to downplay a negative Nancy and black pill. Yeah, but he didn't do that. I don't fucking care. I don't care.
00:42:44
Speaker
Just stop being so negative and black-pilled and doom-pilled and pointing out every stupid thing. yeah ah We're not going to get everything that we want. I get it. He's not perfect. He's not a libertarian. Okay, we all get it. You don't need to keep telling us. it's I've heard it. I'm aware. I know I'm not going to agree with everything that he does. I know we're not going to get everything, but my goodness, if we can get some of it,
00:43:08
Speaker
That'll be the biggest win for Liberty in our lifetime. That won't be an inch in the ball. That'll be actual yardage. That'll be you know a half field play. I don't know. It's something. It's something. more Way more than we've ever gotten in our lifetime. So shut the fuck up already. I'm sorry. I've been trying to hold back on the cussing. I'm just so sick of... yeah know People on our side too being, I can't believe you're going to vote for Trump. Oh my gosh, you guys, you're getting played again. how how youre You're going to get played. and you know The voting, I hate voting. Voting is only slaves vote. Fuck you. I don't care. you know Get out of this libertarian, get out of this purity testing and you know like thinking you know better and you're so above it all. You know what? like This is the system we have. These are the the cards we have at play. and cappa Get out of it and cap a stand in your head.
00:43:56
Speaker
Get out of Ann Capistan in your head. this This is the reality before us. So we have to play the cards that were dealt. You can't sit there and pretend and live in this fantasy world that you wish were in existence. I wish we could have Ann Capistan too. I really do. I would love it if we could get rid of the government, the greatest evil, that statism, et cetera. That is not happening in our lifetime. you know It's not going to happen. So I mean, like look, out of that,
00:44:23
Speaker
That option is not on the table. So out of the options that are on the table, which is the least bad? Which is going to advance the ball? Which is going to do the most good for the most people?
00:44:35
Speaker
And unfortunately, yeah, it turns out voting for Donald Trump was is was that. you know So when i'm making my plea when I made my plea just before the election, and I'm saying, look, you know what? I mean, I know you think you're above it all. And you're like, oh, this is voting doesn't make a difference. You know what? it might It might make a difference. And actually, it did. Because even the people in blue states, even though they didn't actually win the a electoral college, they contributed to the popular vote being going in Donald Trump's favor, which gives him a mandate.
00:45:04
Speaker
to do the things that they want to do, that the people around him are actually open to doing, the people that are in Donald Trump's ear are talking about. eliminating departments and making massive changes. I said, you know what? So it might might might not matter to you. You know who it matters for? It matters for our children. It matters for our children, the ones who are being you know murdered in the womb, the ones who are being told that they were born in the wrong body. And so that God made a mistake when it came to them. And the only way we can fix it is by surgically mutilating them.
00:45:39
Speaker
and making the medical patients for life. It matters for the kids, the the young girls who want to be safe in their single sex spaces without having these perverts dressed in drag, being able to leer at them in a closed intimate locker room or bathroom. It matters for the girls and women who have worked tirelessly, shed blood, sweat, and tears.
00:46:02
Speaker
for you know their sport and for glory and for victory only to have that not just taken away from them from a man but actually to be physically endangered by men trying to play their sports so get over yourself i don't want to hear it get over yourself that's my message and thankfully enough people did thankfully you know we had enough people not willing to be a stick in the mud this time that had enough hope that had enough you know um
00:46:30
Speaker
just fed up with the system and the status quo that fuck it. I don't care. I'm going to vote for Trump this time because what do we have to lose at this point? My kids are worth it. my you know It's just filling in a bubble. It's not a marriage proposal. and Fill in the damn bubble. Pull the damn lever. Go vote.
00:46:50
Speaker
What's it going to hurt? So fortunately we had enough people that had that attitude too. And it was a true, I say it was a true team effort. Everybody came together finally at the end. um I mean, well, and throughout the campaign too, but I mean, like if we hadn't had the Scott Presslers and the Vivakes and the Tulsis and, you know, the RFK all pulling their way, all trying to talk to their constituency, all on the podcast, all bypassing the mainstream legacy media. I mean, everybody came together at the end and did their part. and i'm I'm very very very happy about that and I'm very optimistic now of course the only caveat is I feel like things have been a little too smooth.
00:47:30
Speaker
I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop because we know that the leftists, they're not just going to, they're not just going to take this laying down. I think that they've been too stunned to even know what to do right now. They're waiting. So I think that kind of like how, you know, they have to retreat and hide in the shadows, like kind of what they did when Hillary Clinton left lost. And then they, they came up with the Russia gate hoax and ran with that for four years.

Election Analysis and Personal Reflections

00:47:50
Speaker
So I think they're licking their wounds and they're trying to figure out their next move and they're, they're trying to figure out something. They haven't figured it out yet. They've got a little bit of time to figure it out, but you, there's no way.
00:48:00
Speaker
The left isn't just going to take this laying down. They don't do that. These are evil people, evil to the core. They they don't, they have zero, they are incapable of introspection and self-reflection. They are already, you see them, it's just, it's just, I mean, a sight to behold. Watching these lunatics try and figure out what went wrong and drawing all the absolutely wrong conclusions. They don't get it. they it's it's it it's I mean, mind boggling. I can't i mean, it's just like jaw-dropping. why they you know they're stood They're blaming Latinos. you know This is the party that pretends that they're you know um for black and brown people, and yet they're blaming Latinos for breaking hard for for Trump, and now they're saying, well, good, I hope they deport you.
00:48:45
Speaker
Excuse me, your racism is showing Mr. Democrat, Mr. Tolerant, Mr. Kind, Mr. POC, you know, and they're out there. And especially, you know, even the saying the same thing about the Arabs, because Arabs and the Muslims in Michigan voted for Trump as well. You know, I mean, it was a huge coalition. And that was the other thing too, about this is you can't say some people again, they're blaming you on misogyny or sexism or whatever, you can't say that. You can't say or racism, you can't say that the number of Again, Trump got the popular vote. he got He made inroads with every demographic, Arabs, Muslims, Native Americans, Apaches, black and brown people, black men especially. Black men are tired of this too. I mean, everybody, he made inroads. And if it were just racism or misogyny, he would you know the all the but down ballot races wouldn't have been won by all Republicans either. Obviously, it wasn't all Republicans, but you get it.
00:49:37
Speaker
um You know, if it was just racism, then sure, people would have voted for Trump over Kamala, but then, you know, down ballot, maybe, you know, it would have been reflected, but we still want everything. We want everything. Again, not everything, you know what I mean? But that's, that's the only explanation their little pea brains can conceive of because they're just so thoroughly brainwashed. And this is, this has been a, a, a,
00:50:03
Speaker
I mean like a grand experiment and um and and what, I mean mass formation psychosis or ah brainwashing, how utterly and thoroughly brainwashed these people are and they would say the same thing about us. This is the thing. They think we're the ones that are being lied to, that we're the ones in the cult and that, you know, all this and it's like they they don't get it. They are so brainwashed.
00:50:29
Speaker
and trying to get through to them is impossible, unfortunately. So this is a spiritual battle. Yes, it was won on the political battleground for now, but this is spiritual. Make no mistake, this is spiritual. This is very deeply sinister. And that's why I'm, as much as I wanna be optimistic right now, I am worried as well because these demons aren't gonna take this loss laying down. They would rather burn the whole thing down and rule over the ashes than allow all this to happen. So I mean, for all these, you know, um Trump's come out laying out his a really bold platform of all the changes he's going to make and it sounds fantastic. And I hope that he can get a lot of it or most of it through.
00:51:18
Speaker
But again, i'm I'm worried that the more he lays out and the more he talks about like, again, these demons are, I mean, apocalyptic, they will not stand for it. So I'm just wondering what they've got up their sleeves to try and prevent this. And especially if they try and do something to Trump before he's able to take power and even do enact one executive order, i'm I'm really worried. So I'm, um of course, I'm optimistic. but You can't count out these demon-crats. That's what they are. These are demons. They are never going to stop. This is a spiritual battle. so and it you know The battle was won, but not the war. Of course, only Jesus is going to win the war for us. So in the meantime,
00:51:54
Speaker
um You know We still got a fight and we're still going to have a fight on our hands. So, um, that is my election analysis now Um, thank you for sticking with me I knew this was going to be a little bit longer because there was a lot to talk about especially because I haven't seen y'all in a while And i'm going to explain why um and what's going on with me. So, um, if you want to know what's happening with haley um Here's where it is. And if you just were here for the analysis, thank you. Uh, thanks for sticking around. Um, but yeah, so I have been not able to do much with Liberty Alliance Network in the last few months. um And um you know I guess the long story short is ah it comes down to time. So my daughter um is five and she started kindergarten in August um at a private Christian school. And um that has just
00:52:43
Speaker
wreaked havoc on my schedule. So ah when you're in daycare, they let you pick you know drop your kid off and pick them up when you're ready to. um you know At school, like, hey, school starts at 8 a.m. and it stops at 2 o'clock. Now, they did have aftercare at her school, so that was going to afford me. um I can't stop my day at two o'clock. I mean, my day job, i can't I can't do that. For those who don't know, I'm a dog trainer. I have appointments. I do in-home dog training. That's my day job. That's how I pay the bills. um More on that in a second though.
00:53:14
Speaker
um but yeah so like that that literally That cuts into half my day by having a stop. So, you know, they had aftercare. Well, so it turns out at the aftercare, they take them off site. It wasn't just say it wasn't good. So rather than letting her be at aftercare when I couldn't get to her anyway until four o'clock or later, now we've had to, I basically had to turn my schedule upside down because I had to rearrange my schedule to make sure I could pick my daughter up at two o'clock.
00:53:44
Speaker
um And then when she's home with me, i i I have to be a good mom, right? So I have to be with my daughter and playing with my daughter and so that I just don't have the time to dedicate to this podcast that I did before that. My days off are no longer my days off. um Something had to give and that doesn't mean I'm done entirely with the Liberty Alliance Network. Of course, I'm always, always, always going to be speaking out for liberty and for truth and I love doing this. This is my hobby. This is my passion and so even though I don't Really make any money doing this. I can't help but do it because this is in my blood I love Liberty and I will always speak truth and I will always stand up for Liberty So I don't know as of right now the future of Liberty Alliance Network. I can't say for sure. I I want to continue I'm not gonna hang it up, but I don't know in what capacity because I The whole schedule now with my daughter and the school and everything has messed up my whole schedule I don't have the free time that I used to have um and along with that um
00:54:52
Speaker
at around the same time, you know other things were happening.

Business Ventures and Future Plans

00:54:57
Speaker
It's been a weird year. ah you know I'm not the only one who has felt the pinch of inflation um and whose business has been rocky this year. And so um you know the dog training business has been up and down. It's you know it's been great up until this year. And then now all of a sudden, it's been super hit and miss. And I basically have made the decision that I need to, rather than getting like a second job or something, you know Uber or waiting tables i i basically made the decision i need to need to level up and so in that vein with what free time i do have rather than being able to spend it on liberty alliance network i have. Been working feverishly
00:55:36
Speaker

And I like to help your business catch fire and all that. I mean, I like i like the metaphors, but really, in all honesty.
00:57:42
Speaker
The um genesis, the origin, the inspiration for the name is from the great Sam Adams quote. And let me see if I can say it without bungling it. I should have it memorized. But Sam Adams, you know, our great patriot and founding father, um he once stated that it does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen on setting brush fires of freedom in the hearts and minds of men.
00:58:09
Speaker
Man, powerful. I love it. Such a great quote. It does not take a majority to prevail. Rather, an irate, tireless, minority, keen on setting, brush fires of freedom in the minds of men. And that is what I am here to do, people. And I appreciate all of you for following me and for joining me on this ride and for sticking with me. And I don't know exactly where I'm going. I don't know. I wish I could tell you. Like I said, I'm not trying. I don't want to hang up Liberty Alliance Network.
00:58:39
Speaker
um But right now, I just cannot juggle all these things and something had to give. And fortunately, since I don't really make money from this, i it had to be this, at least temporarily, at least for the time being. But there's more to come. It's never over. so um But I do appreciate all of you. I appreciate you tuning in. I appreciate you supporting me, those of you who have, both you know with your kind words, with your emails, with your finances, those who have you know supported me before financially.
00:59:08
Speaker
much much much appreciated um but this is where i'm at right now and i still am i'm always gonna be fighting for liberty this is the way i'm doing it now is hopefully i can help grow and make as many liberty people and in businesses and organizations as successful um and as they possibly can be using some of these digital marketing solutions so if you need you know, um ads run for your organization, Facebook ads, Instagram ads, um TikTok, um or if you're trying to organically grow um using SEO services, um blogging, content creation, things like that, um getting ranked on Google, things like, you know, noticed, etc. I'd love to help you.
