Introduction to the Daily Palace Podcast

00:00:11
Global Sports Podcast Network
Hello and welcome back to the Daily Palace podcast brought to you by the Global Sports Podcast Network. I'm Joe Lodge. I've cut my hair right back. I told my barber on what to look like Palace's second highest Premier League goalscorer.
00:00:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
I met John Fink-Beteta. He thought I met Andy Johnson. I managed to intervene while we were still somewhere in the Justin Deveni spectrum. With me today is man whose hair is always as sharp as his inside, although he's covered with a cap today, which I wasn't anticipating when I wrote that line.
00:00:36
Wale Bakare
okay
00:00:40
Global Sports Podcast Network
It's Wale Vakari. How are you doing, Wale?
00:00:42
Wale Bakare
I'm all right, Joe. um Great to see you. how are
00:00:47
Global Sports Podcast Network
very well. Very well, thank you, mate. Very well.
00:00:48
Wale Bakare
How
00:00:49
Global Sports Podcast Network
Pleased to have had my quarterly haircut.
00:00:52
Wale Bakare
are you?
00:00:52
Global Sports Podcast Network
I'll see my barber in the new jacket.
00:00:54
Wale Bakare
look Looks nice. Is this new? um I might have seen you wear a similar cord before.
00:01:02
Global Sports Podcast Network
You should be wearing similar coat, definitely. Yeah,
00:01:04
Wale Bakare
Yeah.
00:01:07
Global Sports Podcast Network
It's similar. can see how that's confusing. But no, the hair has changed. But it's hard to tell a distractingly nice jacket on.
00:01:17
Wale Bakare
nice.

Adam Wharton's Return and Impact

00:01:18
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah
00:01:22
Global Sports Podcast Network
Well, today ah we are going to talk about Palace's midfield, the club's most recent cent and 50 early on, and then design some club-themed homeware.
00:01:40
Global Sports Podcast Network
So as anyone who's ever seen me chew through the tinfoil on a burrito can tell you, I like to start things from the middle. um Going from the middle of for Palace, the club and England's enemy, Adam Wharton, has in the last few weeks returned to regular action after an injury layoff that kept him out from the end of October to the start February.
00:02:07
Global Sports Podcast Network
He's featured in Palace's last three matches against United, Doncaster and Everton. How do you think he's looked so far, Wale, since coming back?
00:02:20
Wale Bakare
Gradually, get him back to farm. It's good to have him back. We know very well what he's capable of doing. He's able to bring some calm into the midfield, he's able to link play, he's able to Regal out of tight spaces sometimes and he didn't have a great start to the season before the injury worries, to be honest, but you could make the claim that that was the story of the vast majority of Palace players at the start of the season.
00:02:57
Wale Bakare
The injury even though no one likes two to go away for weeks without playing. But it was an opportunity for him to you know get some very deserved rest, especially after a very action-packed last couple of weeks. Last season, he played virtually all games for Palace after joining mid-season.
00:03:22
Wale Bakare
Although he didn't play in the Euros, but I'm sure I must have been draining training, you know, out of games. the The mental ah fatigue as well, dealing with wanting the team to play well, ah trying to be ready anytime I was called into action. So,
00:03:41
Wale Bakare
the The injury offered him a chance to rest, offered him a chance to maybe get some sharpness back. And ah if if if the last games, a couple of games that we've seen is anything to go by, it looks like it's getting back to that level that we know he can get to remember.
00:03:59
Wale Bakare
just before he got injured, there were talks about Manchester City possibly looking in his direction, especially after the injury to Rodri. They've gone on to sign an Nico from Porto.
00:04:11
Wale Bakare
But there's already, I don't know whether that's an intentional thing or whether it's someone pushing that, but there's already talks again about City not losing interest in him. So it's one that is exciting. It could you know get into a number of meet table clubs teams in the Premier League when he's playing well. And it would just be really nice ah to see him get back to the level that

Debate on Palace's Best Midfield Lineup

00:04:39
Wale Bakare
we know. He's definitely one of those players that I would expect to start to to be ah one of the very first few names on the starting team for Glasner if it's fit.
00:04:55
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think you'd be absolutely wasted City. I'd the joy of Adam Wharton, the quality is that risk-taking on the ball. Sometimes he's so eager to punch your ball between the lines and get it into the final third as quickly as possible, a bit like a kind of 90s midfield maestro.
00:05:17
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah. And at team where he has to play a safe pass or stick rigidly to some preset patterns, it I think you you'd lose a lot of what was special about him.
00:05:28
Global Sports Podcast Network
So I'm happy that he continues to do his business at Palace. um ah I think he's looked rejuvenated in the little bit we've seen of him since it's coming back.
00:05:35
Wale Bakare
you
00:05:38
Global Sports Podcast Network
Without... doing any one remarkable thing you can point to. He just seems like he's moving a bit freer a bit more confidently was at the start of the season.
00:05:51
Global Sports Podcast Network
As you say, had a really long summer and really long end sort of final six months of the Premier League season and had been playing week and week out and Championship before that, which is physically no mean feat in ins itself.
00:06:05
Global Sports Podcast Network
That's a pretty gruelling schedule in a very physical league.
00:06:07
Wale Bakare
You coming from Blackburn, yeah?
00:06:09
Global Sports Podcast Network
Blackburn, yeah. Yeah, came from Blackburn in January, didn't he?
00:06:10
Wale Bakare
Yeah.
00:06:14
Global Sports Podcast Network
So I think just having that rest, if you can call it that, an injury, and potentially that time out of the spotlight, ah the pressure cooker, has been probably good for him. I mean, the view of people around the club seems to be that he isn't the kind of...
00:06:30
Global Sports Podcast Network
man that is affected by the spotlight and the pressure that brings. But nevertheless, it has to be good to have a bit of a reset. Everyone can use a holiday every now and then. And I think he looks really sharp and powered Palace in that second half against Everton.
00:06:47
Global Sports Podcast Network
Obviously, ultimately, it didn't come off. But they were incisive and penetrative and had lots of chances to score and ah feel probably should have... had enough chances to win the game.
00:06:59
Global Sports Podcast Network
And part of that was Wharton coming on in the second half and just quickening things up, quickening the play up a little bit. that lead me on to, you said there, where you he will be when he's sort of fully back to fitness, one of the first names on the team sheet for Palace.
00:07:20
Global Sports Podcast Network
If he's ready or nearly ready to reclaim his spot as one of the starting sentiments in the club, Who loses out? Because I think we we probably would all say that Hughes and Lerma have done a great job holding down central mid pretty much the two of them all season.
00:07:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
It would feel a bit harsh to drop one of them, but who who goes to accommodate Walton?
00:07:44
Wale Bakare
but
00:07:46
Wale Bakare
no I would normally say with use because I always thought Jefferson Lemma was a better all-round midfielder.
00:08:00
Wale Bakare
He shields the defense more. is more He's calmer. I probably wouldn't get a yellow card every game.
00:08:09
Wale Bakare
you compared to where he used. But he used in such a good form at the moment that it's quite difficult to drop him from the team. if if i if ah if If I'm asked to choose who to you know start a game for Palace at the moment, it would be
00:08:09
Global Sports Podcast Network
Mm-hmm.

Eze's Impact and Legacy at Palace

00:08:26
Wale Bakare
Wharton and Hughes, starting in the middle of the park.
00:08:29
Wale Bakare
ah But you can also rule out what Jefferson Lemma brings into the team. As I said, you know shields the defense well. He's a bit calmer. ah He's a bit of a calmer head than Hughes.
00:08:41
Wale Bakare
He has that height advantage in set pieces, especially defensively. But at the moment, Hughes is playing so great. And i would ah would I would really love to see it. Hughes-Warton combination in the next couple of games coming.
00:08:58
Wale Bakare
And it's quite interesting that there's a number positions in the in the Palace squad at the moment that we might be seeing some changes and some players, are you know, talk about Chilwell and Tyreek Mitchell's situation.
00:09:12
Wale Bakare
a You know, also talk about, there's been talks about Eze hasn't been starting games. There's been some questions about his style, Glassner's style, although I don't know what they're talking about there though.
00:09:25
Wale Bakare
But And there's been talks about some changes ah in the squad, but specifically about the midfield pairing at the moment. If Watten's back and he's back in the squad, it would be Watten use for me.
00:09:41
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, I think it has to be Walton Hughes at the moment for a couple of reasons. One is just as good as Lerm has been. Hughes really has been the standout and in central midfield in this period of...
00:09:56
Wale Bakare
and
00:09:56
Wale Bakare
Can a case been made for Daiichi Kamado do?
00:09:57
Global Sports Podcast Network
What
00:10:01
Global Sports Podcast Network
I was going to say which would be interesting to link to that actually, is one of the reasons why I think... Hughes and Wharton makes the most sense is if you think about the kind of balance of the Palace team at the moment, the defence is really solid.
00:10:20
Global Sports Podcast Network
um And think it's the sixth best in the league in terms of goals conceded.
00:10:26
Wale Bakare
Okay.
00:10:27
Global Sports Podcast Network
And then the attack is the 15th best in the league. They can probably afford to lose a little bit of screening and shielding, which is Lerma's greatest strength.
00:10:40
Global Sports Podcast Network
for sort of more directness, incisive passing. So that's why I was going to say more Hughes and Wharton, because Hughes has really upped his game in that regard recently as well.
00:10:56
Global Sports Podcast Network
And also is is just slightly, even though hes I think both him and Lerma are defensively inclined, but he's a little bit less defensively inclined than Lerma. Kamada is, of course, less defensively inclined than either of them.
00:11:09
Global Sports Podcast Network
Wharton and Kamada, it's interesting. I feel like it's definitely a time for it when Palace they've conceded early they're up against a team that are going to play low block and just try and bed in.
00:11:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
You could have two really inventive,
00:11:28
Global Sports Podcast Network
incisive, inventive players that are can think of creative ways to pick a lock and find a way through. I feel like as much as I've just said, there needs to be rebalanced more attacking the Palace team. um Warton and Kamada gives me a bit of nervousness about vulnerability just being run through the middle of.
00:11:51
Wale Bakare
Yeah, and and you know if I just think about If I think about Wharton, I think he does the simple things. He's able to you know make the simple passes, just link play. He's able to maybe you play defense leading passes, so to speak.
00:12:11
Wale Bakare
um If you play Kamada Wharton, that would maybe mean Wharton would have more defensive duties. um He looks like one, personally, I look at him and I think I want him to play alongside someone who you know shoulders more of the defensive duties and just let him express himself.
00:12:31
Wale Bakare
So maybe that's that's the counter-argument against a Watten commander.
00:12:31
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah. are great.
00:12:34
Wale Bakare
So a Watten will use, of course, will make sense, but there's so many yellow cards. We'll use, we'll get where he's
00:12:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
thing about Will Hughes' disciplinary record it gives everyone else a good chance to play. It won't be a solid partnership. And I think that speaks to the more important point, which is...
00:12:59
Global Sports Podcast Network
With the amount of football that teams in the Prem play these days and the intensity of central midfield zones, you really don't want the same two midfielders playing 90 minutes every time, starting the game every time. So...
00:13:15
Global Sports Podcast Network
Probably it's just rotating on a case-by-case basis any sort of um combination of Wharton, Lerma, Hughes, maybe Kamada in there as well.

Eze's Future at Palace

00:13:28
Global Sports Podcast Network
And that's the best thing Palace can do. So i'm maybe we'll think about it the wrong way by trying to pick a strongest two. um But yeah, I think if there is a strongest two, I'd agree. Wharton Hughes probably is the one going forward for now. Yeah.
00:13:44
Global Sports Podcast Network
With that, we'll have a word from our newest sponsor.
00:14:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
Now, there is an EE in the country today whose profile has risen over the last few years, not through expensive Kevin Bacon-led adverts, but through sheer consistency and quality of service.
00:14:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
I am talking, of course, of Eze, who played his 150th game for Palace, coming off the bench against Everton the weekend. Two questions about Eze for you, Wale.
00:14:59
Global Sports Podcast Network
One, what's your favourite moment from his time in a Palace shirt? And two, how high does rank on a Palace's all-time Prem greats? and He's got be pushing his way up there.
00:15:11
Wale Bakare
Yeah, so to be honest, there's a number of moments where I've just watched the very Chiese and I thought, oh, he's just brilliant. um From... doing the video of ah of how to correctly pronounce his name when he joined Crystal Palace to dance and pass a lot of ah gliding past midfielders and taking the ball from the back and going all the way to the front for Palace.
00:15:28
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:15:39
Wale Bakare
And some of the great goals that he scored, got a fantastic goal against Chelsea. I remember it was goal of the season for Palace fans the other time. um I remember the East Court, a nice goal against Liverpool one time as well. But there was a goal against Wolves in 2023. That game finished 3-2, Palace won.
00:16:05
Wale Bakare
It was Jean-Philippe Mateta, you'd like this, who got... He came on for about 20 minutes, got two assists, because Ottenetois...
00:16:17
Wale Bakare
think had given Palace the lead, was it? and Anyway, Wang Yi-Chan had got an equaliser for Wolves and um Mateta came on in the game and then there was a pass over the head of the midfield is Eustace back, passed the ball to Eze, is it it's flicked the ball to Eze, who then has run past the ball and just use the is ill to you know control the ball and slaughtered a fantastic finish beyond the Wolves goalkeeper.
00:16:35
Global Sports Podcast Network
Thank
00:16:53
Wale Bakare
and A goal like that typifies as calmness in the most chaotic situations. Sometimes it doesn't ah things don't go his way. Sometimes um after a great run, ah tries to shoot the ball and then it doesn't catch it properly.
00:17:15
Wale Bakare
Sometimes he loses the ball while trying to beat players. but eighteen is
00:17:20
Global Sports Podcast Network
Sometimes he scores at 12-seasons and Will Hughes has pushed up high in their builds.
00:17:21
Wale Bakare
yeah Yeah, exactly. Exactly. But he is definitely one of the most talented players Palace fans have seen at Celos. Since he joined, it's just been absolutely amazing.
00:17:39
Wale Bakare
And when you look at a player like Michael Ulisse and what he's doing at Bayern Munich at the moment, Eze and Ulisse were not so far off in terms of quality. They, together, were the best players in Palace in the in the last couple of seasons.
00:17:54
Wale Bakare
But You see what Ulisse is doing at Bayern what playing around players of such quality, playing in that kind of team, you know, ah can bring out of you. And and I just wonder, Eze is 27 at the moment.
00:18:08
Wale Bakare
There were talks about him leaving at that time when Ulisse was, especially now there's there's all sorts of talks. We don't know how true it is about, you know, Glasner and his style and Eze. It's 27 now.
00:18:19
Wale Bakare
I just wonder, you know, whether it's probably that time where we'll be saying, oh, I want to experience, you know, you so something big or something.
00:18:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
Thank you.
00:18:28
Wale Bakare
the But I would love him, you know, at Palace for many more seasons to come because he's absolutely wonderful. And he's just one that that that is able to create something out

Creative Palace-Themed Homeware Ideas

00:18:39
Wale Bakare
of nothing.
00:18:39
Wale Bakare
And you don't find a couple of teams in the Premier League don't have players who can just, you know, take things by the scruff of the neck and just create something out of nothing. And and players like Eze are difference makers.
00:18:54
Wale Bakare
And he's that good. And we've seen him do that. As to where he ranks amongst Palace Premier League grades, it's quite difficult because there's there's different reasons.
00:19:05
Wale Bakare
There's players who are regarded as, you know, Palace greats because they were absolute, you know, wonderful servants for the club. Played so many games, stayed so many years, some out of the team a couple of times, and then got back into the team.
00:19:21
Wale Bakare
When you look at someone like Julian Speroni, for example, stayed so many years Palace, his number of appearances doesn't necessarily tell you But Palace fans have wonderful, great memories of Speroni.
00:19:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
Thank you.
00:19:37
Wale Bakare
Talk about Will Zaha and the goals that he scored going to United and then coming back to Palace, you know helping get Palace back into the Premier League and all of that.
00:19:49
Wale Bakare
um So there there are some players that it will be tough for Eze to, at the moment, get above off as regards where he ranks. But I look at, well, as far as I've as more of ive worked Palace for years now, and I know that um there's not many players above Eze in terms of, you know, his ability to conjure things out of nothing in terms of his ability to get the team out of difficult situations.
00:20:20
Wale Bakare
Maybe as a when you look at the number of goals he scored in Palace, maybe not not the most, but he's a midfield player. And what he brings to Palace is more than the goals. ah would placing just yeah I would place would place Zaha, Peroni...
00:20:42
Wale Bakare
Maybe Yoan Kabaye ah you know um i might place players like that above him. Joel Ward, of course, and another. who you know These are players because of you know the the longevity and what they did for the team. But as far as attacking player is concerned, yeah Ian Wright did have some privilege seasons at Palace.
00:21:08
Wale Bakare
When you look at when you talk about Zaha right, I might even be putting... I
00:21:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
i I think right are you playing Division 1.
00:21:19
Wale Bakare
there
00:21:19
Global Sports Podcast Network
I might be wrong.
00:21:20
Wale Bakare
know
00:21:20
Global Sports Podcast Network
I'm happy to do three were wrong in it.
00:21:21
Wale Bakare
yeah
00:21:21
Global Sports Podcast Network
I did check this while I was trying to decide where as I
00:21:28
Wale Bakare
might even be putting Eze ahead of Olisa. That's how much i I love watching the man.
00:21:33
Global Sports Podcast Network
Oh, yeah.
00:21:34
Wale Bakare
And it's definitely one of the greatest attacking players, you know, the Palace fans seen in the Premier League in recent years.
00:21:43
Global Sports Podcast Network
hundred percent and and said As you say, who knows how much...
00:21:46
Wale Bakare
Did do you see you see I found a way to not put him exactly somewhere?
00:21:51
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, it's very diplomatic, Marley. I'm also going to do the same.
00:21:55
Wale Bakare
but
00:21:56
Global Sports Podcast Network
But yeah, I think he's, as you say, he's been great. Could be that this season's last we see of him.
00:22:07
Global Sports Podcast Network
I hope it's not. I'm sure la I'll bear him no ill will and he'll do well wherever he goes ah unless it's United or Tottenham in which case that'll be a career-ruining move without a doubt um yeah the ah
00:22:23
Wale Bakare
It's supposed to be moving to a bigger club, you know.
00:22:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think with Eze he has to be really edging himself towards Palace's Premier League, Mount Rushmore.
00:22:43
Global Sports Podcast Network
In terms of sort of talent, the years he's done it for and his output, he's probably second really to Wolfsar, who's pretty clear at the top.
00:22:58
Global Sports Podcast Network
He's second in a very literal sense in output, I think understood as goals and assists. I think he's on 48, is what I calculated earlier. And I think that fin that does put him second.
00:23:10
Global Sports Podcast Network
And as you say, he's about more than just goals and assists. He contributes more than some other players, naming no names, Christian Benteke, who are kind of around that area.
00:23:22
Global Sports Podcast Network
ah of Paleta's list for top combined goals and assists in the Prem the thing that maybe counts against him is that he's just done it all in a period of sort of positive side competence, calmness at Palace, negative side, stagnation.
00:23:46
Global Sports Podcast Network
So while he's been really exciting on the pitch, you maybe don't ah associate him with periods of the Premier League adventure that Palace fans find as exciting as some of those earlier stalwarts.
00:23:56
Wale Bakare
Yeah.
00:23:59
Global Sports Podcast Network
If he stays around another year... can and and can break new ground in some way, say help Palace qualify for Europe, maybe even win a piece of silverware that isn't the Stateside Cup.
00:24:13
Global Sports Podcast Network
Who knows? He could put him right up there.

Conclusion and Listener Engagement

00:24:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
um But I think he's already got to be in the top kind of four or five Palace Prem players for me.
00:24:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
Maybe... top two or three in terms of entertainment value behind perhaps John-Philippe Mateta and Yannick Balassie
00:24:36
Wale Bakare
the fifth Yeah.
00:24:38
Global Sports Podcast Network
that's
00:24:39
Wale Bakare
me with him Maybe. Maybe Velocchio.
00:24:43
Global Sports Podcast Network
Balassie on his with that we will have our second ad of the episode and then wrap up a bit Blue Sky thinking
00:25:30
Global Sports Podcast Network
We don't make a habit of giving airtime to the palace's mortal enemies on this podcast, but we'll make an exception for this next person.
00:25:32
Wale Bakare
E.
00:25:38
Global Sports Podcast Network
Meghan Markle has recently relaunched, such rebranded her ah brand of luxury homeware as as ever. ah think that's how it's pronounced. ah Crystal, i think that's going to be solved with Netflix, you know, classic, classic tap, jam, plates, all that kind of stuff.
00:25:53
Wale Bakare
a
00:25:59
Global Sports Podcast Network
Crystal Palace are always in need of new revenue streams. So I'm thinking, how can we build a similar brand around the club?
00:26:10
Global Sports Podcast Network
So welcome to the part of the podcast I'm calling Homewaresdale end of the podcast. Wale, if you had to build a homeware brand around the Eagles, what would it be called and what items would you sell?
00:26:29
Wale Bakare
I had to think about this and think about what I love and what I would but i would you know really love. i've I've seen the amount of you know music that the boys are listening to at the moment. I've seen the you know the level of um you know great music that's been blasted in Celos.
00:26:53
Wale Bakare
I remember watching an interview of the stadium DJ the other day, which which I enjoyed, by the way. 00:27:44
Global Sports Podcast Network
think you have a massive chance behind Dragon's Den.
00:27:45
Wale Bakare
Yeah. Yeah, right.
00:27:48
Global Sports Podcast Network
Certainly Eagle's Nest, failing that. i yeah I actually had a similar thought as part of the range I'm collating.
00:27:57
Wale Bakare
You guys really want something else?
00:28:01
Global Sports Podcast Network
John-Philippe Mateta branded um boomboxes, was going to call them.
00:28:05
Wale Bakare
Ooh, nice.
00:28:07
Global Sports Podcast Network
But as a whole there's a whole range around this, so I'll explain like my thoughts to you here.

Wale Bakare
Yeah.
00:28:12

00:28:13
Global Sports Podcast Network
I'm thinking a high-end French homeware brand, people like French homeware, called John-Philippe. There will be ah fragrance called Number 14, or the French for Number 14.
00:28:28
Wale Bakare
Nice.
00:28:30
Global Sports Podcast Network
There'd be a range of colourful, charming, intellectually stimulating children's books. I'm thinking Wart and Here's a Who, Lea Berry, Hungry Caterpillar, and Fault in Our Stars.
00:28:47
Wale Bakare
He definitely took this more seriously than I did. Nice.
00:28:54
Wale Bakare

We're having a series of scented, passive-aggressive postcards for when you want to politely make your feelings known to your neighbours about their bin etiquette and such what.
00:29:10
Global Sports Podcast Network
They're all going to be address ah to recipients the the address line the the opening line of the postcard is going to be pre-printed to boom it may concern and we're going to have luxury mateta shaped headstones should you want to bury your loved ones in the garden and called boomstones and I think with all that maybe a game called boom raider that about counts as homeware at that point but
00:29:35
Wale Bakare
but
00:29:41
Wale Bakare
well i don I just worry about, you know, because I just worry what what then happens because it there's but there's all sorts of talks about, you know, Mateta and his future and teams wanting him.
00:29:48
Global Sports Podcast Network
What you possibly worry about? Can
00:29:55
Wale Bakare
I just wonder what then happens, you know, if if he does leave Palace. does
00:30:00
Wale Bakare
that but All these amazing things go away from the seller's shopper.
00:30:00
Global Sports Podcast Network
you sell a player to keep their image right?
00:30:06
Global Sports Podcast Network
That's a good point. It is concerning. It is concerning.
00:30:12
Global Sports Podcast Network
I mean, what what would the full-back plan be? um John Phillip, you could kind of rebrand it all afterwards. An English homeware brand.
00:30:23
Wale Bakare
Oof.
00:30:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
I don't know. It would be a lot of wasted items. But I can't imagine... I'm thinking that these, every time you stock them, are going to fly off the shelves like Yeezys. So I don't there's going to be any moment where you've got surplus, where you've ordered too much. I think these are going to keep making money
00:30:44
Global Sports Podcast Network
as they hit the shelves, as they hit the shelves until such a moment as he possibly could leave. But um it would be a nice also to be an added incentive for the club to give him a good deal and make sure he stays because, you know, do you want to be a championship dwelling team with no John Fleet Mateta-themed homeware brand or Champions League team
00:31:07
Wale Bakare
With.
00:31:07
Global Sports Podcast Network
whose rise to the top has been powered by the exponential growth in sales of boomstones. i I know which one I'd rather be. I know which one I'd rather be.
00:31:22
Wale Bakare
Oh, that's a nice way. Nice.
00:31:29
Wale Bakare
Nice.
00:31:30
Global Sports Podcast Network
I think with that thought, with thoughts of burying loved ones under a granite mateta kicking a corner flag, we'll wrap the episode up.
00:31:44
Global Sports Podcast Network
