Introduction to Daily Parlous Podcast

00:00:11
Global Sports Podcast Network
Hello and welcome to another edition of the Daily Parlous podcast brought to you by the Global Sports Podcast Network, GSPN. I'm Wale Bakari and Joe Lodge joins me tonight on the pod. Great to

International Break: Nations League & World Cup Qualifiers

00:00:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
see you, Joe. How are Val?
00:00:26
Joe
Yeah, um I'm very well. Very well, thanks. Well, I've been enjoying the international break. I used to, as a kid, have a hobby of watching paint dry.
00:00:37
Joe
So it's nice f throwback to that for me, watching England in those games.
00:00:43
Global Sports Podcast Network
Well, because it's been a couple of um games in the Nations League, because I woke up qualifiers across many parts of the world. I just finished seeing, you know, during Super Eagles play out or one or one draw against Zimbabwe.
00:00:59
Global Sports Podcast Network
terrible result in the scheme of things con considering ah South Africa now goes six points ahead in that group. I think for the African qualifiers, the the first in the group qualifies automatically and then the second place to i'll get to go into the

Thomas Tuchel's Debut as England Manager

00:01:14
Global Sports Podcast Network
playoffs. But anyway, a lot of attention was on ah England, especially with Thomas Tuchel overseeing the boys for the first time, ah did the get a ah couple of questions asked after his first lease of players was released.
00:01:35
Global Sports Podcast Network
But ah the games, um you know, ah the games, of the last two games seemed like games you expect England to win. But there's a number of people that have been looking at the performances and are looking at it and saying there's no clarity as of yet as to what to expect from Thomas Tuchel.
00:01:57
Global Sports Podcast Network
And there's some looking at and saying, um the the the the last two games or his first two games so to speak actually not enough competition and they're not the sort of games that you want to begin to judge him by but you expect them to go quiet and maybe get all the goals but were they convincing performance is enough for you joe
00:02:20
Joe
I think they were as convincing as they need to be, really.

Strategic Choices by Tuchel

00:02:27
Joe
I suppose if you're Tukor, you could go... they They struck me as two performances that were kind of making a statement and planning ahead. ah He could have gone probably more attacking, taking more risks, played a team that was really set up to beat...
00:02:47
Joe
Albania and Latvia by as big a margin as possible. Some Lee Karsley-esque tactical experiments. But actually, I think he instead thought it's better to to play the team more or less that he wants going forward and get to play in a way that he wants.
00:03:11
Joe
not too many risks, manage the game, manage the ball and just see how professional victory. i I think that is a hallmark of Tuchel because he's sort of German, he's from that kind of pressing school of football. I think we sort of expect a level of excitement from him that...
00:03:32
Joe
We might just need to manage our expectations a bit there. And and I think it's a good thing. But if you look at that kind of amazing impact he made as soon as he came in at Chelsea, it was 2-0, 2-0.
00:03:44
Joe
Have 80% of the ball. Don't take too many risks and and just wear them down. So, yeah, I think that's kind of what we saw If England had been more exciting, it it still wouldn't have really

Evaluating England's Performance

00:04:00
Joe
told us much. I mean, um Albania and Latvia have a combined FIFA ranking of well over 200, I think I saw earlier. So they're not, um with respect, the toughest of opponents.
00:04:13
Joe
And I think it's it's just, yeah, kind of, you've got to take that as fairly positive, even if... It doesn't feel like a big shift from the sort of Southgate era yet.
00:04:30
Joe
He hasn't had much time to coach patterns of play. He has put a structure in, unlike England. The the Euros, they're playing with width, they're playing shape. I think it's they're acceptable performances and results.
00:04:44
Joe
ah they They don't make me excited for the World Cup qualifiers, but they'll do.

Future Matches: Andorra & Serbia

00:04:51
Global Sports Podcast Network
Incidentally, the next couple of games for Thomas Tuchel's side are Andorra, Andorra, Serbia, Latvia, then Serbia, and then Albania. That's as far as the welcome qualifiers are concerned.
00:05:03
Global Sports Podcast Network
So it's not a very competitive.
00:05:06
Joe
Andorra would be the real fist.
00:05:07
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, not very competitive games. But, um you know, for a lot of fans, it's... They keep looking to see whether there's any hints as to what the team will look like on the two-goal.
00:05:25
Global Sports Podcast Network
I particularly always wonder whether you know English fans will get the kind of flair that they're looking for in what you get in the likes of, I saw the game between Netherlands and Spain.
00:05:38
Joe
Thank you.
00:05:38
Global Sports Podcast Network
great end-to-end, and then went into penalties. i you Germany against Italy ended at 3-3 as well. ah you and And you saw a lot of flair you know from those players.

Club vs National Performance: Rashford & Pickford

00:05:49
Global Sports Podcast Network
And England have got players of that quality as well, but for some reason they just don't you know ah give give the same performance as they give for their club sides. Phil Ford didn't look lost.
00:06:01
Global Sports Podcast Network
Rashford, every time he tried to step over, just stepped on the ball. um you know and And we've seen that happen over the years. The the expectation is maybe just, maybe Thomas Tuchel will be able to ah you know get the players, give them the belief that they can also perform as they perform in their club sides of the English nationals. And it's a lot of pressure, to be honest, you know for the English players. But We'll see how things go.
00:06:26
Global Sports Podcast Network
But, Joe, let's talk about the you know the palace contingent in that English code. um Eze got a goal yesterday against Latvia.
00:06:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
um You know, Mike Gehi has been talking so much about how he's so happy for him. he hope It almost seemed like he was happier than Eze himself. But but when when you look at the but you know the Palace contingent, Gehi, of course, he gets some minutes. Eze got some minutes.
00:06:54
Global Sports Podcast Network
Unfortunately, Jordan Pickford, well, unfortunately for Palace and for Henderson, Jordan Pickford remains number one. under Thomas Tuchel, even though he could have changed ah you the goalkeeper against Latvia yesterday. But how do you sum up the performance of the Palace contingent?

Crystal Palace Players in England Squad

00:07:11
Joe
So I think and they're all in all in quite unique positions. Gehi, for me, is still comfortably one England's best two centre-backs.
00:07:24
Joe
i think I think will be um one of Tuchel's first two picks going forward. just He's got that composure on the ball. brilliant kind of judgment reading the game. I think Tuchel's going to want England to dominate the ball and push higher the more he coaches them.
00:07:41
Joe
And the more settled in that style they get, the more important Gahit will become. But the games have thrown a bit of a question mark over his status, whereas he was first name on the team sheet for Southgate by the end of the Euros and seemed to be a favourite of Carsley's as well.
00:07:53
Global Sports Podcast Network
you
00:08:01
Joe
Yeah. his kind of comments on, so I saw like, Gale doesn't start, Conte starts, as does Dan Byrne against Albania in the first game.
00:08:12
Joe
And I kind of interpret as he sort wants to have a look at concert and he wants to give Dan Burn a start because finally he's got his first England cap and he's had this amazing week scoring the winner in the League Cup.
00:08:27
Joe
What was the one? Well, scoring the League Cup and winning his boyhood club their first trophy in 80-odd years whatever it was.
00:08:31
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.

Tuchel's Squad Selection Philosophy

00:08:37
Joe
um And he's he's kind of looked at that and gone, well, Burns, Burns left side, centre back. ah I'll play concert, have a look at him and Mark can have a rest. But...
00:08:48
Joe
It doesn't sound like he's... If that is what he was doing, it doesn't sound like he's communicated that to Gehi based on his kind of comments afterwards where the competition's good, it's extra motivation to fight for a space rather than and anything more more calm.
00:09:04
Joe
it sounds like he does think his position a could be under threat.
00:09:09
Global Sports Podcast Network
Thank you.
00:09:10
Joe
Yeah. and he didn't acquit himself at his absolute best against Latvia. There were a couple of mix-ups with Pickford, I think both of which were a collective fault.
00:09:21
Joe
um But yeah, that's he he's less secure than he probably was... We felt he was going into international break, but I still think he will be England's first choice going forward.
00:09:33
Joe
ah Pickford wasn't great again against Latvia. So could it open the door for Henderson? Maybe. But think the message of Tuchel's squad selection is I'm going to reward the people who've done well for England over the years.
00:09:50
Joe
um can handle a big stage, i know can perform in this shirt specifically. And I

Palace Players' International Performance

00:09:59
Joe
think that's also the message of the fact that he played Pickford every minute of every game rather than something someone else in at halftime or giving anyone else chance. i'm I'm not overly optimistic about how open that door is for Dean Henderson.
00:10:11
Joe
And an Eze is interesting one, isn't he? Because I think going into it, you would have had him quite far down pecking order for England. but But what's become very clear is... that Tuchel wants to play with proper width.
00:10:27
Joe
So he wants players who can actually play in a kind of left wing rather than attacking midfield role. Eze's more of an attacking midfielder, but he can do that. He does do that better than some other players, think maybe likes of Foden in the England team. Yeah.
00:10:43
Joe
And it is a role that England don't have a standout player in. Rashford seems to be Tuchel's preference there, early doors. But it isn't like the right side where there is Saka and there's no question about who's going start in that role. So essay the door is potentially open. And of all the players who played that left wing role...
00:11:08
Joe
over the international break, he probably did the best. that His goal against Latvia was absolutely brilliant. He also came on and created a big chance, just looked really lively the whole time. So I think he's put himself in contention to be a greater part of England team than he was before Tuchel's arrival. The one thing would say is he is doing this against teams that sit very deep.
00:11:35
Joe
And I think his skill set is better suited than the likes of Rashford and Gordon and Bowens to a team playing deep because he can run at static defender, turn them inside out, get a shot off, um isn't afraid to take those risks when everything's kind of congested.
00:11:53
Joe
But when England play against the teams they really need to beat to win tournaments...
00:12:00
Global Sports Podcast Network
Mm-hmm.
00:12:01
Joe
they'll expect to play some slightly higher lines, more transitional. In those situations, Tuchel might prefer a Gordon or a Rashford, and so they might end up being the first choices just on kind of a pace and ability to get in behind the gate that Eze doesn't have.
00:12:18
Joe
But I think of all of them, probably, summarise, Henderson... less likely to play than we thought going gay his position is less secure than before going but as the door was a bit more open for him as a as a potential england starter
00:12:37
Global Sports Podcast Network
Well, what it's important to point out, you England were missing a couple of players because Anthony Gordon was, looked like, has made that left position ease in the last couple of games.
00:12:48
Global Sports Podcast Network
um You know, Cole Palmer as well as another that that was missing. Makai Osaka, obviously, you know, missing for England. So there's some talent on the under wing that that were... It remains to be seen what ah choices Tuchel will be making moving forward because there's there's still a lot of decisions for him to make ah in the middle of the pack.
00:13:08
Global Sports Podcast Network
Morgan Gibbs-White barely got any minutes. ah In the defence, there's Levitt-Cowell, the young Gerrard-Quanzer. These are players that were invited but didn't get any minutes. um you know And then Oli Watkins, by the way, wasn't even in the squad.
00:13:23
Global Sports Podcast Network
Morgan Rodgers did do some good for himself. but I should mention the the young Arsenal man, Miles Lewis Kelly, was great in the game. So there's very interesting decisions up ahead for Thomas Tuchel to make.

Challenges for England Managers & Tuchel's Prospects

00:13:39
Global Sports Podcast Network
um I don't know whether I'm very optimistic, to be honest. I i just somewhat think that
00:13:44
Joe
Thank
00:13:47
Global Sports Podcast Network
With the England job, ah you you just never know what to expect. We've had great managers, Capello's gone field. Sven-Goran Eriksen couldn't get a title, couldn't get over the line. Gary Sauergit for all the good job he did with the atmosphere of the dressing room, the togetherness and cohesion in the team.
00:14:10
Global Sports Podcast Network
They just couldn't get the job done or get over the line. Maybe just maybe Thomas Tuchel will be that man. We'll have to wait to see. But we'll take a very quick pause and when we return, we will talk about some other Palace players that were on international duty.
00:14:24
Global Sports Podcast Network
ah I should say, though, there's still a couple of games you know to happen in some parts of the world before the players return.

Palace Players' International Duty Report

00:14:33
Global Sports Podcast Network
ah you know, to their respective clubs. and They hope for a lot of clubs. A lot of clubs will be, you know, watching very keenly to see who is coming back fit and who is coming back injured. And speaking of fitness, we'll take a message from Bownick and we'll be back shortly.
00:15:26
Global Sports Podcast Network
Ben, thanks for staying with us. It's still the daily Palace podcast brought to you by the Global Sports Podcast Network. That's why they enjoy here talking about the you know games that have gone down the international window, of course, Palace players on international duty.
00:15:42
Global Sports Podcast Network
you I'm sure you must have noticed there's been you know fewer episodes in the last couple of days because of ah you know lack of club football.
00:15:48
Joe
you
00:15:50
Global Sports Podcast Network
But I'm sure that we will you know get back into full swing once the players start returning to their club's FA Cup games this weekend. you know Palace are still in that FA Cup run and there's a lot of hope that's the way that will end. But let's get on to talk about you know other Palace players that were uh you know in action i'll just uh mention uh i'll just go through the list and i'll get your thoughts joe um well for the england number 21 adam wharton uh who we thought was going to maybe get a chance with um ah thomas tucco's side well there were quite a number players actually that could have gotten a chance with thomas tucco's side but ended up with the under 21 adam walt in one of them arsenals uh in one area
00:16:26
Joe
Thank you.
00:16:32
Global Sports Podcast Network
another. it It was a very star started on the 21 side for England, I must say. But ah they lost ah to France. The the young man, Ekitiki, getting a hat-trick in that game. And then they went on to beat Portugal.
00:16:45
Global Sports Podcast Network
Adam Wharton did come on in the 71st minute against France and then played 78 minutes against Portugal. Chris Richards and Matt Turner were in action for the US. It does look like Mauricio Pochettino might be out of the job very soon if you know, the results continue to go the way it is, you know, for the United States.
00:17:03
Joe
Thank you.
00:17:05
Global Sports Podcast Network
Daiichi Kamada got a very important goal for Japan. They became the first side to qualify for ah the World Cup, aside from the OST nations. ah Justin Devaney was in action for Northern Ireland, making his second appearance.
00:17:19
Global Sports Podcast Network
ah Jefferson Lemma, And Munoz were in action for Colombia. for colombia They lost to Brazil 2-1. Munoz giving away that silly foul, bringing down Vinicius Jr.
00:17:32
Joe
Yes.
00:17:34
Global Sports Podcast Network
But Colombia did good for themselves. They did give a good account of themselves that game. They are in action, of course, later. Ismail Assar was in action for Senegal. They played out a goal and straw in the work of qualifiers on the African

US National Team in CONCACAF

00:17:48
Global Sports Podcast Network
side. And that they will be facing Togo, I think, later today.
00:17:51
Global Sports Podcast Network
Did you catch any of the boys? or What are your thoughts as regards any of them? ah i'm sure i'm sure your I'm sure your focus would be just come back without getting injured.
00:18:02
Joe
Yeah, I'd be lying to you if I said I caught any of these matches for the 490. But lots of interesting ones in there. um was a shame not to be able to see. i really felt this was the international break where we were finally going to see Jean-Philippe Mateta making the France strikers roll his own, regardless of the former likes of Marcus Turan.
00:18:26
Joe
But alas, it was not to be. I think the US national team is a particularly interesting one in there because they've had really quite a disastrous international break. It's not often that kind of news of how a team's performing in CONCACAF really reaches us organically. But the story of the US's pair of defeats to Panama and Canada has has come to us. And do feel there's a ah sense of panic in the air over there about...
00:19:08
Joe
ah this was supposed to be a the world cup in 2026 was supposed to symbolize how far us come since the previous time they'd hosted it um and it's starting to look like it might come to symbolize how far they actually haven't come how little they've progressed as a footballing nation know um But there's still a lot of time there, a lot of Maurizio Pochettino coaching, which I'm will be very good coaching left to be done to improve them.
00:19:37
Joe
I don't think the two Palace players come out of that particularly tainted. The issue wasn't necessarily conceding loads of goals.
00:19:46
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah.
00:19:48
Joe
And in Rich's case, I think he was off the pitch by the time Panama... So didn't he played in the first game against Panama, not against Canada.
00:19:56
Global Sports Podcast Network
yeah
00:19:57
Joe
believe he'd come off the pitch already, albeit because he'd been booked earlier, by the time that Panamma got their goal. So he can't really have too many complaints with his performance. And I don't think he'll do too much to arrest his momentum as as one of the standout emerging defenders in the league.
00:20:14
Joe
But it's um yeah it's got to be a deflating international break for them. I think they... ah both kind of important members of the team um and will feel some of that pressure of really need to get our act together before the World Cup way on their shoulders. So, um yeah, probably not going to be coming back to Palace in the highest of spirits.
00:20:41
Joe
It's a little bit the same elsewhere, isn't it, with Colombia, who was so amazing running into...
00:20:46
Global Sports Podcast Network
uh...
00:20:50
Joe
on that run to the final of the Copa America and in qualifying before that, and now seem to be in a little bit of a hangover, that sense of invincibility they

Colombia & Japan's International Performances

00:21:02
Joe
had. I think they got like 20-odd games unbeaten as completely disintegrated. They've now lost three on the spin.
00:21:11
Joe
I think there's a little extent to which that they can kind of afford that and they might not feel too bad about yeah a 2-1 loss to Brazil. it's ah play It played okay, as you said. so And with the extended World Cup and the extra qualifying place, they don't need to worry too much about not making it. So...
00:21:34
Joe
Hopefully not too deflame for them. Munoz did give away the penalty, but if you're going to give away a penalty against anyone in world football and not be too embarrassed, it's probably Vinicius Junior. I think everyone kind of understands that. And so hopefully they won't be too downtrodden. And they've got another game today, don they another another chance to get a win and yeah turn that around.
00:21:59
Joe
And then Japan, Kamada got a goal against Bahrain. um I dare say Bahrein at the Latvia of the Asian ha conference. I don't think they're a particularly strong side.
00:22:15
Joe
But the nice thing about Kamada in Japan is that they play, albeit with a different emphasis, I think, more or less the same kind of formation system out as Palace. So he gets to go...
00:22:31
Joe
get some starts or at least some more minutes in that preferred role and and build his confidence up and yeah hopefully he comes back comes back flying um but either way i mean the nice thing for palace is just to be there it's a reflection of their form that that list of international as you reeled off at the start is it's so long so even if they're not all coming out of international break necessarily of their heads held high and their spirits restored, i think it's it's a really good reflection of where the team are at. yeah They've got so many players playing in these in these matches.
00:23:06
Global Sports Podcast Network
Yeah, it's interesting you make that point because I was going to say you can only do a team, you know, a law of good as a lot of international players with that kind of experience under their belt.

Impact of Returning International Players

00:23:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
And, um you know, celebrating small wins, Matt Turner, he did play two games for US.
00:23:22
Global Sports Podcast Network
The one against Panama, I think, was his 50th cap for the United States, even though it wasn't great results for them. ah Some of the boys still in action in to today, tomorrow, and we'll be getting back to your clubs. Hopefully they come back and escape.
00:23:37
Global Sports Podcast Network
and can be ready ah for that FA Cup clash for Palace in the weekend. I should mention, well, the but the England elite squad, they call them, Romain Nesse was an action for them.
00:23:51
Global Sports Podcast Network
They played 1-1 against Portugal and 2-2 against Switzerland for some reason. They just couldn't get over the line.
00:23:57
Joe
what What's the elite squad? Okay.
00:23:59
Global Sports Podcast Network
Well, it's under 20. yeah do it England have got the under 21, 20, under 19 and then the under 17. Well, they were playing in the elite league.
00:24:13
Global Sports Podcast Network
That's what it's called. um
00:24:14
Joe
okay
00:24:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
Also, the under-19s had Caleb Baer for them. He was an unused substitute in the game against Wales. England winning 2-0. England played 0-0 against Turkey. He started and completed the game.
00:24:29
Global Sports Podcast Network
And um they faced Portugal later today. Speaking of Baer, there's all sorts of talks about his future at the club. But we'll get into that.
00:24:40
Global Sports Podcast Network
We'll take a break and we'll be back.

Caleb Baer's Contract Concerns

00:24:42
Global Sports Podcast Network
Don't go anywhere.
00:25:02
Joe
Thank you.
00:25:16
Global Sports Podcast Network
All right. Daily Palace podcast brought to you by GSPN. Wale and Joe here. And um as we wrap things up tonight, we we'll be talking about one of Palace's coveted Academy stars in Kill It Bar.
00:25:33
Global Sports Podcast Network
ah But it's not very good news talking about them and the reports suggest that contract talks have broken down between AIM and Palace and it might be leaving on a free come the end of the season.
00:25:33
Joe
Thank you.
00:25:48
Global Sports Podcast Network
Joe, there was a lot of... oh There's been a lot of hope and a lot of Palace fans looking to power and saying at least that will be someone coming from the academy, ah just as you know it was with the likes of Zah and Mitchell and Nathaniel Klein.
00:26:07
Global Sports Podcast Network
And but for some reason, it does look like that dream might be ending soon. I just wonder what was that does for the rest of the boys in the academy. Because I remember we had this conversation some weeks back about you know players coming into the first team, showing to the guys in the academy that there is that pathway.
00:26:28
Global Sports Podcast Network
And we also talked about, you know, a lot of these teams coming in now and, you know, just taking, um you know, academy players off their competitors. who We saw a lot talks about Aiden from Arsenal to United, and he did have a great debut about when of injured. But talking about Caleb Power particularly, do do you worry ah so so if if indeed he does leave on a free, you know, what that does for the rest of the boys in the academy and what it means generally, you know, for Palace?

Palace's Academy & Player Development

00:26:57
Joe
Yeah, I'd be disappointed in and of itself to see, regardless of the wider implications, to see him go.
00:27:02
Global Sports Podcast Network
Thank
00:27:05
Joe
there's an important point for us to make in that he hasn't not played a lot of senior football, so it's it's difficult for us to accurately judge just how good he is.
00:27:19
Joe
But in the little run-ups we have seen from him, um playing in playing the League Cup, played fill ars snow he I think he looked like he had the kind of technical and physical profile to
00:27:33
Global Sports Podcast Network
you

be there as a backup to Munoz, who, if he got injured, Palace would not have to change their entire kind of approach to playing.
00:27:48
Joe
Whereas I think if Kropo's gone, not replaced, and Munoz gets injured, it's catastrophic. I i don't know how they actually cope with the loss of the energy and the width that he gives them. So in and of itself, I'd be disappointed to see it.
00:28:06
Joe
And I do think there are questions about the pathway through to Palace. I guess the team will always run and manage in a cautious way. And it's hard to argue if that approach. It's paid dividends and secured them in the league.
00:28:21
Joe
But there have been quite a few. i mean, Palace Academy clearly is quite good and and has produced some really good players over the years. Recently, you look at kind of Jake O'Brien's gone.
00:28:37
Joe
It looks like Caleb Paul is going. And I think like if Jezren Raksaki had his way, he might have already been gone.
00:28:48
Joe
And you do you do kind of think, yeah, maybe they could take more chances on um giving minutes to these players, particularly that's crystallised in Rakitic's case, because it's not I think Raymond Ese is a really promising player and a good signing for Palace.
00:29:06
Joe
But his profile in terms of what he's done, the way he plays, and yeah what he's achieved at championship level is is not dissimilar to Raksaki's already on the books. If anything, slightly lesser, maybe, although he's bit younger.
00:29:21
Joe
And yet Raksaki's not had... any real chance to break into the actual Palace first team, spent a year kind of just rotting in the reserves and then has been sent back out on loan to Sheffield.
00:29:35
Joe
And you kind of think maybe if he doesn't get a good chance next season, and you kind of wonder the where his pace the squad is, do you get a good chance? it does It does start to answer to ask some real ah yeah questions about how Palace handle their academy and what the route through is for the players currently there. So I would say it's little bit of a ah a concern, particularly as I think Game Time's report is a big motivating factor for Pora going right now.

Well, but it's it's it's just a a bit sad you know to to see Poa leave. Or if he does leave anyway, I wouldn't be all resigned to fate as regards that.
00:30:16
Joe
Yeah.
00:30:16

But well we'll see how he goes. I was just going to say, you know you you talk about Romain Neysa, and I say i'm ah i've just thought, he's what?

Although you could make this argument for the vast majority of the clubs in the Premier League, there's that core of 13, 14, 15 players that you know the coaches continue to use. And there's so many talks about players having to play too many games. And all although you understand coaches won results and they will go with their most trusted players. But just as you said, that there has to be ah you know a point where you...
00:30:54
Global Sports Podcast Network
you know take chances on some of these players and show them that there is that opportunity there. ah i'm sure well I don't know the details, but it cannot entirely be about the money you know that talks are broken down with. by There has to be conversations about assurances of what the future holds for him as well. and And all of this, I'm sure, will have will be some of the factors that are the issues. but We'll see how that goes. That's as much as we'll do today, Joe. Thank you, really. Always glad to talk to you.
00:31:28
