Casual Chat: Exploring a German Town

00:00:38
Speaker
Oh, so you know what I did the other day at work? I forgot to tell you about this real fast. Oh, no. So the other day at work, I was really bored and I was like, I have reached my capacity for the moment. I need to do something else. And so I was like, I'm going to look up Tiffany's little German town that she lives in.
00:00:57
Speaker
and try and figure out, I know you live by a cemetery. So I put it in there, and I was like, cemetery's near, and I'm not gonna say the name of your town. And cemetery's near, blah, blah, blah, town in Germany. And then it pulls it up, and I'm like, okay. So I put the little Google walking guy, and I'm like, walking down the street, and I'm like, I don't even see if I see anything familiar. I couldn't find your house. But I don't know what your house looks like on the outside. So that's another thing. But I'm just like, okay, now look for.
00:01:25
Speaker
chickens. Like I said, you're like thinking of all the things or whatever. I couldn't find it, but we are fortunate like us and our chicken neighbors. We don't sit on the street like all the other houses do in Europe.
00:01:41
Speaker
we have like huge yards and so we have like all this space and like foliage that covers us so you can't see us from the street unless like unless that was all dead when they did the little like walking photos. I can't remember it was like 2013 or twenty not 2013, 2023 I think is whenever they did it but it was before obviously was well before you got there like um yeah a couple months before you got there I think it was October 2023 is whenever they did it but I guess I'll have to go walk through it again and kind of see what I can see. But yeah, we'll walk it. I was like, okay, this is my town. Did you find the cemetery? Yeah, I did. I did.
00:02:21
Speaker
This is cute. Yeah, it is the cutest little cemetery and it has like um a station right next to the gate that has like gardening tools and watering cans so you can water the flowers and stuff around your loved ones graves. Yeah, it's very cute. It's a cute little cemetery. Oh, I love that. Yeah, I don't know if that's like a standard thing in Europe. I've never really paid attention to that. But this one being like,
00:02:50
Speaker
right next to my house i go buy it all the time and i noticed like people with their little gardening tools at the little thing so i you know my friend lives on the other side of it so when we walked by it i went and looked and it's like this whole like little there's a table for potting Like it's all built into the ground there. Like you can't like move it. But like, there's like a a solid surface for like potting or anything like that. And there's like little um racks with hooks with like gardening tools and watering cans and stuff. It's so precious. That is cute.

Weekend Activities and Horror Movies

00:03:21
Speaker
Yeah. Yeah. So what did you do this weekend?
00:03:27
Speaker
Uh, anything fun? Nothing fun. Um, I did get my lashes done. So that was fun. Um, in the house we watched a movie. Oh, what did we watch? We watched the remake of Salem's lot and I did not really care for it. Like then the new one? Yeah, the new, new one. It, the acting was just not that great. And I was like, ah I feel like they do that to every Stephen King thing. Like yeah really the it's that came out with um what's his name? The Scars Guard. We're good. Yeah, those were good. Yeah. um What else? I feel like that's probably about it. Like under the dome sucked.
00:04:10
Speaker
Well, they just the crosses were glowing and like a really weird like, like, I'm sick. I don't remember that. And I was like, Mike, like, no, that's not that's that's really cheesy because it made it seem really cheap. because Yeah, it just it had so much potential. um But I mean, it was okay. But I'm still gonna watch it. I'll probably like it but not love it. Right, because you know what it could be. Because the sale of that is one of my favorite like books. I love that book. It's really good. But the remake is just not that great. And then what else did we do? So we watched that and then yesterday I think we watched another scary movie as well and I can't remember what it was so it must not have been that good.
00:05:00
Speaker
um Gosh, what was it? I don't remember. But we did that yesterday. And then, yeah, really, it's just been kind of a slow weekend. Just kind of hanging out. Sometimes you have those. I'm ready for a slow day. I'm going to route on the couch and watch scary movies and documentaries and drink coffee all day.
00:05:18
Speaker
Yeah, I think that sounds like the perfect Sunday. Yeah. But we're not talking about perfect Sundays. No, we're not. and What are we talking about?

What is a Shadow Witch?

00:05:28
Speaker
We're talking about some witches. Witches? Witches? Yeah. Those are part seven of our witch witch series, which is crazy that we've done seven parts of these, which means that we've done like 14 different styles of witchcraft, um which is really cool.
00:05:44
Speaker
Yeah, I'll be talking ah about shadow witches.
00:05:50
Speaker
yeah Sam's gonna talk about what fire witches? Fire witches. Fire, fire, fire. I was like, I thought I saw that, but I also didn't look at your notes. yeah That would be me. Fire witches.
00:06:03
Speaker
So I'm gonna start us off, and I honestly, here at the beginning, just wanted to note that there seems to be like quite a bit of confusion on what a shadow witch is when it comes to like open forums. When I do my research, I do like to look at like Reddit and Quora, because you can get a lot of really great information from people that like practice these things. but So there was confusion between a witch that like bases their practice around shadow work,
00:06:32
Speaker
and a gray witch. So a lot of people would be like, no, shadow witches are just gray witches. But from my own research, shadow witches focus their practice in shadow work, which makes sense based on the name. The confusion seemed to be surrounded by those calling it gray witchcraft, focusing on how black witchcraft is practiced alongside white witchcraft, which I i hate like the black and white good evil comparisons here. But It's like their words. It's not my words. So that's why it's there. But um the idea was that shadow witches were protected by the shadow of like quote unquote black magic. But for what I'm talking about today, I'm talking about a shadow witch as someone who uses shadow work as the foundation of their practice.

The Importance of Shadow Work

00:07:23
Speaker
So if that's wrong, let us know. But from what I could find, that's what it is.
00:07:30
Speaker
So a shadow witch, like I said, is a witch that is focused on shadow work, which we've talked about multiple times on the podcast. But if you need a refresher, we did a deep dive on episode 57. So just a basic summary, shadow work is the process of learning to become aware To understand, to transmute your own shadow self into strengths and overcoming any weaknesses or shame that you may feel surrounding various aspects of your shadow. It's a time where you get to really get deep with yourself and it often involves journaling about those aspects, um meditation and even breath work.
00:08:09
Speaker
Also just a shameless plug for our Supercast, but we offer two printable shadow work journal prompts to our subscribers of the Spelman's and the Charmed ones. So if you're interested, you know, subscribe to our Supercast. Do it. Do it.
00:08:29
Speaker
So a shadow witch's aim is to transmit your shadows in a way that allows you to learn to love yourself exactly as you are. Just as we said in episode 57 though, make sure that any work you're doing in terms of your shadow is done in a safe way.
00:08:44
Speaker
You all know that we're huge advocates for mental health and we have backgrounds in mental health so we will always encourage you to seek a therapist that fits your needs should you feel it necessary. Shadow work is a huge part of therapy and for those of you with like deeper trauma root wounds like rooted in your shadow, working through this with a therapist would be a great starting point. Be open with your therapist on your goals, let them tailor your shadow work,
00:09:13
Speaker
to where you are currently at in that particular moment and then work forward from there. And I also like really want to note here like don't just stick with the first therapist you find if they aren't the right fit. Advocate for yourself and find a therapist that's willing to listen to your needs and to understand your process.
00:09:33
Speaker
You need to feel comfortable with your therapist for therapy and or shadow work to really work for you. So make sure that you find a therapist that makes you feel these things. Shadow witches are said to be ruled by Scorpio and the element of water and their power is in transformative self-love. And

Shadow Witches in Astrology and Pop Culture

00:09:51
Speaker
Tanay Stewart, which I hope I'm saying that right but I don't really know it's a name so there's no way to like figure out the right pronunciation there.
00:09:59
Speaker
but she's from the Witch of Lupine Hollow, and she notes that many shadow witches have a strong Scorpio signature in their astrological chart, like having a Scorpio sun, moon, or rising, or just being Scorpio dominant, but that's obviously like not a requirement in terms of being a shadow witch.
00:10:17
Speaker
I also am not sure like how like if she just had like a group of friends that were shadow witches and they're all like Scorpio dominant. I don't know like how she came up with that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I want to say the study. Yeah. <unk> let's see How big was the population? Yeah. Is this quantitative or qualitative research? Yeah. And in terms of pop culture, um,
00:10:45
Speaker
There's not really a lot of lore surrounding Shadow Witches outside of pop culture from what I could find. But just researching the topic of Shadow Witches was super difficult because they're also intertwined in pop culture. And I kept getting video games. There was a music album that was titled The Shadow Witch. And even just what we do in the shadows kept popping up, which was hilarious to me because I love that show. I love, if you have not seen that movie or show,
00:11:14
Speaker
you need to After you're done listening to this episode, yeah get off of here. Go on Disney or Hulu or wherever. Wherever you stream it from. Yeah. and Watch the show and then watch well watch the movie first. Watch in the movie first. It is my favorite thing. It is so good. It doesn't matter how much you want to watch it. I'm just like, this is so good.
00:11:35
Speaker
Yeah, I could watch the same episodes. I've watched the movie five or six times. It's just hilarious. It is so funny. Ten out of ten. And the episodes, at first I was not going to really give the show that much of a chance. Because the movie's so good. Because I could be as good as the movie and it's not going to say the actors, but the actors they chose for the show, it's just perfection. It's so good. It's so good. Okay, so anyway, sorry about that. No, you're good. That show is worth talking about anytime it comes up, I feel like.
00:12:05
Speaker
I agree. So Shadow Witches are extremely popular and are featured heavily in a lot of fantasy RPGs, including games like World of Warcraft, Dungeons and Dragons, Might and Magic, Destined, Kingdom Hearts, Elysium 3 and 4, and like this list goes on and on and on, which I found really interesting. And although we could say that Witches and Witchcraft in general feature heavily in a lot of these fantasy and rpgs i will say wow has a shadow camp council that's made up exclusively of warlocks which i thought was funny and interesting because.
00:12:43
Speaker
In the gaming and pop culture setting, shadow witches seem to be considered a species of ancient witches that don't age. And sometimes they're considered to be the first ever witches. And outside of WoW, it seems that they're also a coven of just all females due to like bad past experiences with a demon male, which made me laugh. But in um World of Warcraft, they're exclusively warlocks, but warlocks can be male or female.
00:13:12
Speaker
So they allow both in their shadow cancel. Interesting. Yeah. And just like with any pop culture witch reference, you'll see the shadow witches portrayed as both good and evil throughout. um So sometimes they, I think it was destined, the game destined, they were considered like, they were human at the beginning and then they're given the option to become a witch. And then when they do this, it's because the world is going in such a bad direction.
00:13:42
Speaker
that they're trying to fix it. They're trying to save it. So they're good. But in a lot of games, you'll see them as both good and bad. So that was just a little interesting pop culture stuff that I found on it. But how do you practice being a shadow witch? And I'm sure this isn't going to be a surprise. But if you want to incorporate shadow witch practices into your own practice, you're going to have to start working on your shadow self and doing your shadow work.
00:14:08
Speaker
So again, episode 57 is a fantastic place to start for that deep dive into like what shadow work is and how to practice it. Really just spend some time researching the background of shadow work and its history because the shadow self and shadow work is rooted in psychology. It's so important to really understand the type of work that you're going to be doing and to determine if you'll be able to handle this on your own.
00:14:34
Speaker
or if doing so with a therapist is going to be your best option. You will likely be addressing some heavy topics and digging really deep into your past, into your emotions and like why you feel certain ways about certain topics. It's probably going to feel very uncomfortable, especially at first. So just having that understanding and a foundation and the knowledge should be your first step.
00:14:57
Speaker
This is an extreme form of self-reflection that doesn't have like a definite end. So while you can resolve certain aspects fully, not all aspects are ones that can be like wrapped up pretty in a bow.
00:15:12
Speaker
like as soon as you recognize them. So just understand that it's a very long process. Shadow work doesn't have a right and wrong way. It's extremely personal, varying from person to person. You can simply journal. You can find prompts that guide you through your journaling. You can meditate on your feelings and really just sit with them while reflecting on like why you felt or why you reacted a certain way.
00:15:35
Speaker
You can work with a therapist, like I keep saying, um that can help guide you through the process. The possibilities really just are endless with shadow work. And then going back to Tanae Stewart, she had this great little blurb that I felt was just like too perfect not to include. So she stated that one of the biggest challenges witches face is finding ways to continually do this shadow work without becoming bogged down in it. As a shadow witch, you like the depth and intensity of your spirituality, but you don't always want to be in that space. There's room in your life and your practice for light and fun and creativity too.
00:16:14
Speaker
Learning the nuances of how to face your shadow and when to work on transmuting them and when to let them go will be key in creating a practice that feels truly supportive. So using shadow work in witchcraft can help you understand your identity and live a more authentic life. Remember to keep an open mind, be compassionate,
00:16:34
Speaker
and be patient with yourself and allow yourself time to like dedicate solely to your shadow work without distractions, making sure that you also reflect on your progress as you go.

Tools and Rituals for Shadow Work

00:16:46
Speaker
And I have some correspondences for you.
00:16:49
Speaker
foreshadow work. So these are things that can help guide you through the process or just things to use to really like pull out that like introspection and creativity or like understanding. So deities would be Kali, Lilith, Hecate, Anana, Persephone, Medusa, the Morrigan, and Baba Yaga.
00:17:12
Speaker
Crystals would be obsidian, black tourmaline, lapidolite, kyanite, amethyst, moldivite, rose quartz, moonstone, and lapis lazuli. Plants would be black pepper, cacao, calamus root, chamomile, eucalyptus, garlic, juniper, lavender, mugwort, mandrake,
00:17:33
Speaker
Molyon, Nettle, Pomegranate, Rosemary, Rue, Rose, Sandalwood, Sage, St. John's Wort, Thyme, Tobacco, and Yarrow. Colors would be white, black, orange, purple, and silver. Tools, tarot cards are a powerful a powerful tool for self-reflection and uncovering hidden aspects for the psyche.
00:17:55
Speaker
um Mirrors are symbolic of self-reflection or seeing the truth. Candles provide light and focus for meditation and ritual work. Pendulums are powerful tools for gaining insight into subconscious issues. um You could use a puppet that either represents you or your shadow self. And of course, journaling as like this is ah a crucial piece of shadow work.
00:18:19
Speaker
um I also found this, which I found interesting. So there are key times that can help like amplify your shadow work, apparently. So 3 a.m., which is also known as the witching hour. This is a time when the veil is thin, meaning it's a great time for deep spiritual work. Saturday is associated with endings, protection, and banishing and negativity. Sunrise and sunset, so sunrise for setting intentions, and sunset for letting go of what no longer serves you.
00:18:49
Speaker
Monday is associated with emotions, intuition, and subconscious work. The waning moon phase is ideal for letting go of negative patterns, emotions, and energies. And the dark moon is a time of deep introspection and inner reflection. It's a powerful period for diving into the depths of your subconscious and addressing hidden aspects of the self.
00:19:11
Speaker
When you first start, you'll need to be able to kind of just really take a step back and be able to look at everything objectively. Using meditation as a tool to really like focus and sit with patterns that you're finding and seeing, it's also a great way to include like this in your practice daily.
00:19:31
Speaker
so if you sit and meditate at the end of your day you can think through like feelings and situations that occurred throughout the day and start to reflect and understand those feelings or your reactions. Something really to understand in this type of witchcraft is that this will be something that you constantly need to work on and it's um It's not something that's like fast um to resolve or to like quote unquote fix. Understanding and accepting your shadow self takes so much time and work. It takes a lot of thinking through situations and to find those patterns and triggers that you have.
00:20:08
Speaker
So don't get like discouraged if you decide to like start down this path and you're not fully understanding things. And also, please understand that this process will likely be extremely uncomfortable, again, especially when you first start out. It could even be like very upsetting, which is why we advocate for you starting this practice with a therapist, especially if you have like a heavier or like more traumatic past. And just like as a quick summary,
00:20:39
Speaker
of like everything. Shadow witches are those witches that make shadow work the sole focus of their craft. So we've talked extensively on shadow work and its importance on the podcast. Multiple times we're major advocates of mental health and going to therapy, which is fantastic for starting this practice. Shadow work is such a personal journey. There's no right or wrong way to practice it. You need to find like the methods that work for you and then you really need to like stick to a routine with this practice to find your breakthrough moments. Remember to be both compassionate and patient with yourself here, and understand that it's not all like sunshines and rainbows. Sam says this like multiple times, I feel like. You can't have the light without the dark, the good without the bad,
00:21:26
Speaker
But we believe in you. We're here for you. We'd love to hear about your journey through this process. like Should you choose to incorporate shadow witchcraft or like shadow work in your personal craft? Because we think you totally should. Obviously, it's a topic we talk about a lot.
00:21:43
Speaker
um Everyone should be doing shadow work. So even if you don't consider yourself a shadow witch, practice shadow

Introduction to Fire Witchcraft

00:21:49
Speaker
work. Amen to that. I think that the jet agrees with me. It's in the background. it's like who shall agree
00:22:03
Speaker
So 100%, how could I even follow up with that? So that's the end of this episode. and so I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to cover Fire Witch or Fire Magic. um so Just to kick things off with a little bit of a background, a fire witch is someone who, surprise, surprise, uses fire magic. um What is important to know is that each of the four cardinal elements, so earth, air, fire, and water, can be incorporated into your magical practice and into your ritual ritual work.
00:22:36
Speaker
I almost said, which will work, but I caught myself. ah which will ritual which will um Depending on how you practice and what your needs and intentions are, you may be drawn to a specific element to work with, and that's totally fine. But today, I'm going to focus solely on fire magic.
00:22:56
Speaker
A fire witch is one that requires courage, boldness, strength of will, and energy and possesses a fierce spirit with a yielding determination to work with fire magic.
00:23:08
Speaker
Fire as an element is a purifying and masculine energy. It is associated with passion, love, sexuality, and linked with the primal forces of creation and transformation. Fire can both create and destroy, and it symbolizes the fertility of God whenever we talk about like the god and the goddess.
00:23:28
Speaker
um Fire is the element of the sun and of immortality and transformation. It's the life energy that animates the world and is known as the soul of the world. Fire is connected to the cardinal sign of south, and in tarot, fire is connected to the wand or sword suit depending on which version of tarot you have, and it's also associated with the athame or the sword in ritual practice.
00:23:55
Speaker
So those are some correspondences. I'm going to go over a couple more. When we talk about fire magic and fire witches in general, fire magic is associated with the season of summer. The time of the day is noon or during the high sun, so really at the peak of the day whenever you feel the sun's strength on you.
00:24:17
Speaker
um The colors associated with fire magic are red, orange, yellow, or gold. The animals or elementals associated with fire magic are phoenix, dragons, lions, and salamanders. The planets would be sun and mars. The zodiac signs would be all of the fire signs and this includes Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.
00:24:39
Speaker
The crystals or stones that are associated with fire magic are ruby, garnet, citrine, fire agate, and amber. The herbs and plants would be cinnamon, ginger, basil, chili pepper, and dragon's blood. And as far as tools and ritual items, candles, obviously, used for focus and tension and manifestation, incense and smoke,
00:25:03
Speaker
um because obviously with fire you get smoke often. um This would be cedar, frankincense, and sandalwood because these are often associated with the element of fire solely because their smoke is purifying and cleansing.
00:25:19
Speaker
And the Athame, which I've mentioned earlier, or the ritual knife, this is connected in many traditions with the element of fire. And of course, bonfires, which are large fires used for community rituals, celebration, and as a way to clear and transform land.

Practices of Fire Magic

00:25:35
Speaker
So when we talk about fire magic, there are many deities associated with it. Basically, when you think of fire magic, and you think of deities, any deity that is associated with fire is a dead giveaway, um or associated with the sun, and or destruction or creation would be ah deity that would be pretty safe to work with if you are wanting to connect with them on the basis of fire magic. So this would include Brigid who is um from the Celtic origins and we've talked about her many times on the podcast. She's a triple goddess associated with fire, poetry, and healing. She is revered as the patroness of smithcraft and inspiration as well as the keeper of the sacred flame.
00:26:21
Speaker
Pele, which comes from the Hawaiian pantheon, um is the goddess of fire, lightning, wind, and volcanoes, and she is known to be both powerful and volatile, capable of creation and destruction. Sekmet, which is from the Egyptian pantheon, is a lion-headed goddess of fire, war, and healing, and is capable of both destruction and protection. Agni, which I think I'm saying that right. I could be saying it wrong, and if I am, I really am sorry.
00:26:50
Speaker
um This is from the Hindu pantheon and this is the god of fire and the messenger of the gods. And this is the divine purifier who carries offerings from the human world back to the gods.
00:27:03
Speaker
Hephaestus, which is from the Greek pantheon. This is a god of fire, blacksmiths, and craftsmanship, and he is known for his master forge where he creates divine weapons. And Hestia, which is also from Greek origins. um This is the goddess of the hearth and the home, and she presides over the sacred fire that burns in every household. So let's talk about the different types of fire that is used in fire magic.
00:27:30
Speaker
Obviously, the first one is candles. This is probably the most common use for someone who is practicing fire magic and can be used both in rituals and spellwork. We have an entire episode on on candle magic back in season one, which is episode 17. So give that a listen if you haven't to yet. However, candle magic is so versatile and can be used for a wide range of spellwork and ritual workings.
00:27:55
Speaker
There are different color candles that correspond with different intentions, and the possibilities are practically endless when you consider not just color correspondences, but also incorporating different methods for dressing candles to be used for your specific intention.
00:28:11
Speaker
um Also, bonfires. As mentioned earlier, bonfires are large fires in an outdoor setting and have been used cross-culturally throughout history. Often, bonfires are used for purification, cleansing, and releasing negative energies.
00:28:27
Speaker
they can be used to symbolize transformation and renewal. And we've talked about this on the podcast before. I tried to figure out which episode exactly we mentioned this in, but I can't remember. It might have been the wheel of the year. But there's also the practice of leaping over the fire to leave behind the old and embrace the new.
00:28:45
Speaker
um And then also a hearth fire, which is incorporating fire in your home, so like in a fireplace. um And this is to provide both light and warmth. Traditionally, hearth fires are associated with protection, family, and home. And rituals involving hearth fires often focus on security and stability, and as well, fostering bonds of connection and love among the people living in the home.
00:29:10

Another fire that can be used in mire magic are sacred fires. These are fires lit during rituals and ceremonies to honor deities, ancestors, or other spirits. Sacred fires are used to offer prayers and offerings, to invoke blessings, and to connect with the spiritual realm And they offer a space to communicate with the divine. And lastly, a torch flame. This is used during processions and outdoor rituals as a symbol of guidance and illumination. And they're used to light the way on a spiritual journey or a quest for knowledge and can symbolize enlightenment, the quest for truth, and as a way to light the darkness to illuminate things unseen to the seekers.

So one of the easiest things that you could do is something called an elemental dance. This is incorporating dancing in your practice. And if you've looked at a flame for any amount of time, you will see it flicker and jump as if it's dancing. This dancing is the elemental dance of creation and destruction. And elemental dancing is a way to channel the raw power of fire into like like symbolically as a way to incorporate it into energy.

and spells as it offers a shield against negative energy. Fire can be used as a tool to safeguard spaces and and as a way to purify the spirit. It can also be used in cleansing and in the removal of stagnant energy as well. And then also, of course, manifestation. At its heart, fire is a catalyst for change in manifestation and using fire magic in your own manifestation work can be very powerful.

Speaker
So how can you practice fire magic and become a fire witch? One of the easiest things is, of course, meditation and visualization. And so this includes spending time meditating and visualizing yourself surrounded by flames, feeling their warmth and their energy, imagining yourself merging with the fire to become like one. And in dreams, fire can signify impending change, desire or spiritual awakening.

Also fire scrying or candle gazing, using a candle or another type of fire that I mentioned earlier, just sitting down and gazing into the flame and allowing symbols to form into your mind's eye is a very easy kind of entry level way to practice fire magic. And then of course we have bonfire rituals.

Speaker
So for bonfire rituals, this involves attending gatherings where fire is the main focal point. And usually these also involve some sort of chanting or maybe drumming, singing, dancing, anything like that around the fire to raise the fire's energy and to communicate with elemental spirits. If you don't know how to find a bonfire ritual in your area or there isn't any known,

You can always host your own safely keyword here safely um So, you know, don't call us up if you light your whole house on fire. We don't want to hear it um And another thing that you can do is to practice fire offerings. So this would include giving offerings to the element of fire. And this can include any of the correspondences I mentioned above, except for please don't sacrifice any animals to the fire, like that would not be good. But any of the herbs or the plants would be perfect for this. This could also include oils or incense.
00:33:16
Speaker
um as a sign of gratitude. So giving thanks to the fire for its warmth and its light and its energy and all of the things. And then lastly, practicing fire magic on a consistent basis. So incorporating any of the things I mentioned or even just doing your own research into fire magic or any of the deities that I mentioned, use fire in your spells and rituals as a way to fuel your own intentions and manifestations is probably one of the easiest things you could do to incorporate this into your practice.
