Personal Anecdotes and Humor

00:00:42
Speaker
Yeah, so we should probably preface this episode with the fact that i have horrendous allergies. My eyes are so puffy and watery. My nose is stuffy. My throat is itchy and I feel like I'm dying. So you're welcome.
00:00:59
Speaker
Womp, womp, womp. I'm shy. You're welcome the hot mess that is me today. That just shows you how much you love the podcast and our listeners that you are recording whenever you feel like shit. Literally.
00:01:14
Speaker
I can't get an appointment for allergy medication and refuse to buy it because I shouldn't have to. Exactly. It's the principle of the matter. It's the principle of the matter. hello Speaking of something that's also irritating, this super petty buddy of me and I realize this as I'm saying it, but I just cannot. There's someone that I know.
00:01:37
Speaker
We're not friends um and we have- I don't know how we became like friends on like TikTok or whatever, but somehow we follow each other on TikTok. And she just found out about what is this Secret Lives of, or Secret Lives of Mormon Wives show? Yeah. I guess because of the new season.
00:01:56
Speaker
And she is like posting all of these TikToks with this stuff that she thinks is like hot tea. And it's like, This was a year ago. like What you are thinking is a hot take.
00:02:14
Speaker
Everybody's already talked about this. She's like, guys, I don't know if you know about the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial, but let me ditch it out. That's what it feels like.
00:02:26
Speaker
When I first started, because at first I was like, oh, is she talking about the second season? Because I haven't watched the second season yet. And no, she's talking about the first season. It's like, a girl. long ago.
00:02:41
Speaker
And the way she is the way she's approaching the videos too is it's like, this is a hot take. It's not. not. Finish watching the season and you'll realize we've all come to these conclusions collectively as an audience last year.
00:03:01
Speaker
I don't know why that bothered me so much, but it showed up on my TikTok today as I was folding clothes and I was just like, what? And then that she had like all of these videos back to back to back where she's essentially talking about it. And it it really is stupid and I shouldn't complain about it because she's doing what she loves apparently, but...
00:03:23
Speaker
Oh, hello. Hello there. but i know. I'm like, with where were you? Because I looked around and I was like, okay, no cats shuts the door. then here or she is. She's like, surprise. Honestly.
00:03:36
Speaker
So obviously our listeners, you can't see this, but let me just explain to you what I saw. so Tiffany is sitting at her computer, right? And behind her is a window and she's wearing a dark sweater.
00:03:50
Speaker
Her cat is also dark. And I had no clue that the cat was on her shoulder. And then all of a sudden i see this long black tail just flick across her face.
00:04:02
Speaker
And I was just like, what the fuck is that? Tiffany, get out of the room. Right. And it's Nike.
00:04:12
Speaker
and so I mean, she is kind of a demon. She is. Conscious little demon. With little munchkin legs. I know her little chicken nuggets. Yeah. We are sweetie.
00:04:24
Speaker
I'm going to put her out of the room. Otherwise, she's going to be annoying. i know. You're going. Otherwise, she'll either try to just stay on my shoulder the whole time with her tail in my face or she'll be climbing on the desk and she always pushes these buttons that make the desk stand or stand. Oh, nice. Yeah. She's such a little shit, man. Adorable.
00:04:51
Speaker
Little shit. e And then we have a house guest. So um you guys hear a tiny little puppy, go have a tiny ball of energy running around downstairs.
00:05:06
Speaker
Oh, I can't wait to make this pup when I come in October. I can't wait to meet all of the pups because I haven't met Nix or Rune. I know. many pups.
00:05:17
Speaker
um money you but Yeah, I haven't met anybody. The only pet in your house that I have met is Nike. Not Tolkien? No, oh I didn't meet Tolkien either.
00:05:29
Speaker
you were gone before we got Tolkien, didn't you? Yeah. So sad. So I'm excited to meet all of the little creators. Little creators. And Rune is texting me, so.
00:05:41
Speaker
Of course he is. You'll hear my phone going off the whole time, I'm sure. said mom snugs. I was just about to say snugs. Mom snugs. Mom. Now mom.
00:05:52
Speaker
He didn't get his snugs because he had to get up with the ass crack of dawn for tiny little fluff ball. Oh, we have to make this fast so that he can get snugs.
00:06:02
Speaker
Yeah. Yeah. Because he very upset about it clearly because his little thing is like bing, bing, bing. Oh.
00:06:13
Speaker
That's so cute. He's such a turd. All of my animals are turds, man. But they have such large personalities. They really you do.
00:06:25
Speaker
They're just so precious. Yeah. But we're not talking about horrendous allergies or ridiculous animals today. we sure are not. What are we talking about?

Understanding the Power of Names in Witchcraft

00:06:39
Speaker
We're talking about the significance of names and witchcraft. Yes. Yeah, so I guess to start off with some historical and cultural significance of names in witchcraft and magic, names are more than just words that we answer to.
00:06:58
Speaker
They are spells in and of themselves. A name carries vibration, energy, and intention, and it helps shape our identity and influences how others perceive us. Think about how quickly you snap to attention when you hear your name in a crowd.
00:07:12
Speaker
It cuts through the noise much like the words mom and dad, which are also names that we attribute to ourselves and hold power. That's the power of a name. It resonates, it calls, and it awakens something within us.
00:07:27
Speaker
At its essence, a name is just a sound, an energetic vibration that activates an emotion or sometimes even spiritual responses, depending on how it is spoken and with what intention it's spoken in.
00:07:39
Speaker
When we name something, whether it be a child or a pet, a cherished object, or even a car, and if you haven't named your car, what's wrong with you? Literally. have I need to know what your car's name is.
00:07:53
Speaker
We give those things life a sense of presence, and often spiritual or emotional power. The Jeep's name is Wade Wilson. I love that. My little Lappin's name is Margo.
00:08:06
Speaker
no
00:08:10
Speaker
So the magic of names is far from a new concept. It's an idea that shows up across mythology, history, and spiritual traditions. And it's one we still see echoed today in things like pop culture, especially when it comes to feylor, demons, and magical beings.
00:08:27
Speaker
So let's look at a few examples that highlight just how deeply this idea is embedded in our collective storytelling. So when we're looking at names as power in fiction and pop culture, you can go back to stories like Rumpelstiltskin.
00:08:42
Speaker
So in this classic fairy tale, mysterious man helps a young woman spend straw into gold in exchange for her firstborn child. When she wants to escape the deal, he offers her one chance.
00:08:53
Speaker
Guess his true name. If she can name him, he'll vanish or die, depending on which version you're reading. But either way, the power of his name undoes the magic. There's a book series. It's a fantasy series called The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch.
00:09:09
Speaker
And in this fantasy series, knowing someone's true name gives mages the ability to control them. It's a hidden vulnerability and one that you protect at all costs.
00:09:20
Speaker
For any of our tabletop players out there, you'll know that certain spells in Dungeons & Dragons, like Trap the Soul, become more potent or even require the caster to utter the target's true name.
00:09:34
Speaker
And this is just a reminder that even in game mechanics, names can tip the balance of power. In the Odyssey, Odysseus tricks the Cyclops by giving his name as Nobody...
00:09:45
Speaker
So when he blinds the Cyclops and the creature cries out, nobody blinded me, the other giants just ignore him. And that's just a clever use of naming to manipulate perception, which I thought was hilarious. for that like I remember like reading the Odyssey in high school. And ah when I was looking up examples for this, was just cracking up because I remember that scene. It was so funny, but also kind of sad.
00:10:11
Speaker
Mm-hmm. And then the last um one that I'm going to talk about here is The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. And if you haven't read this one and you love fantasy, like bump it up your TBR list immediately.
00:10:26
Speaker
The entire magical system is built on the art of naming. And the idea is that to know something's true name is to understand it completely. But names are fluid, so they shift and evolve just like the things that they represent.
00:10:42
Speaker
And I'm not going to spoil it, so I don't want to say too much more, but it's a beautiful, albeit unfinished series. So just know if you do start it, you've only got two very thick boy books, and then we have been waiting a very long time for the next book.
00:10:56
Speaker
Oh, so it's like a Game of Thrones situation. Well, so apparently, supposedly, he has already written it and given it to the editors once, but his process is a very long one. He is very picky about his stuff.
00:11:10
Speaker
So we'll see. yeah It's been like 10 years though. There are two little novellas that are really great too, but we need the next book. yeah In all of these stories, names aren't just identifiers. They're instruments of control, liberation, and protection.
00:11:29
Speaker
And while these are fictional, the themes are rooted in very real beliefs. So if we look at like mythological and folkloric roots, there is a story in Welsh folklore That is called, and if I'm butchering this, look, we told you guys last week when we did Welsh folklore or Welsh magic that we did our best on these pronunciation.
00:11:51
Speaker
And this one I stole from Sam, so it's even better. It's a till with te. So there's a tale of a helpful household spirit, something like a brownie, that turns into a bogart and flees the home when the lady of the house learns its true name.
00:12:07
Speaker
In Scandinavian myth, there's something that's called the knockin, and this is a shape-shifting water spirit that lures victims with haunting violin music, which first of all, if I'm out in a fucking bog or whatever it lives in, and I hear haunting violin music, I'm not going to be like, let me go check this out.
00:12:28
Speaker
But basically, lures people in with this creepy ass violin music in the middle of nowhere. Then it drowns them and eats them. And the only way to kill it is to speak its true name aloud. And doing so causes it to drop dead on the spot, apparently. But if you're like, what's that noise? like how are you going to know its real name?
00:12:48
Speaker
Right. Exactly. yeah Yeah. Don't be those people. So these stories reflect the longstanding belief that knowing a being's name gives you power over it.
00:13:00
Speaker
And in some cases, it can be used to protect yourself or undo harm. And then i just also wanted to add some cultural and spiritual traditions.
00:13:11
Speaker
And I'm going to be honest, when I started doing this, I fell down a um rabbit hole in the Jewish culture. So most of like basically all of mine are from there because I was like oh my gosh and then this one and then this one there was like 20 different ones that were tied to names.
00:13:29
Speaker
So this is where we are. So in Judaic tradition. The true name of God is considered so sacred that it's taboo to speak it. Instead, many different names are used in scripture and prayer, depending on the context and the purpose, and each name carries its own weight and reverence.
00:13:49
Speaker
Before the 1800s Jewish mysticism, there were mystics that were known as the baleshim or the masters of the name.
00:14:00
Speaker
And they were said to be able to cure illness and ward off disasters by being able to invoke the sacred names of God and angels. Their entire magical practice centered around the power of divine naming.
00:14:14
Speaker
And then there's also an Ashkenazi Jew naming custom. So in some Ashkenazi communities, if a child passes away, a younger sibling that is born might be given a name that translates to old man or old woman in Yiddish.
00:14:34
Speaker
And this is done to invoke longevity and confuse the angel of death. It's both a protective charm and a form of sympathetic magic using the name to shape destiny, which I thought was kind of like, it's cool, right? But also how many kids have the same name, which obviously that happens with any name. there's I'm not the only Tiffany. You're not the only Samantha.
00:14:59
Speaker
But how funny is it to think that like there's however many children named old man or old woman. Right. yeah And then just some cross-cultural practices. There are a lot of similar customs that can be found in parts of Western Africa, Turkey, and Serbia, all surrounding this last one where they will name the child based on like something that's going to give it life, like long life, or something that's going to confuse whatever their cultures are.
00:15:32
Speaker
thing is that's going to come in and take the child. I know and i I only remember this one because I was like, oh my God, the Western African one they the word that they name the child if another sibling has passed away like translates to garbage heap.
00:15:51
Speaker
And it's because they're trying to disguise the child as something that's unloved. It's garbage so that like it won't be taken from them. Oh my God. Yeah. So in these cultures, names are chosen with deep intention, sometimes to protect, to bless, or to embody specific traits.
00:16:11
Speaker
And the belief is we become our names. yeah Some additional examples, ancient Egyptians took naming very seriously. The act of naming someone shaped not only their existence on earth, but also the lasting legacy that they would leave behind.
00:16:27
Speaker
Their names were also imbued with magical potency to aid in things like protecting, empowerment, or control. And it was common for individuals to have multiple names, and some were even given additional names at specific turning points in their lives.
00:16:43
Speaker
And then briefly, I wanted to talk a little bit about black

Names in Black Magic and Spiritual Practice

00:16:47
Speaker
magic. So the concept of black magic, it just in general, shows how names can influence perception.
00:16:54
Speaker
The term itself can evoke a specific feeling for some, whether that be fear, fascination, or even unease. And it's important to remember that anytime we are discussing quote unquote black magic, this ultimately refers to practices that involve the manipulation of forces with the intent to cause harm for personal gain, or sometimes to control others.
00:17:16
Speaker
Throughout history, certain deities and practices were labeled as dark or dangerous through the power of naming, often to discredit spiritual systems that didn't align with dominant religious or political agendas.
00:17:29
Speaker
And for instance, take Hecate. So we know her as the goddess of witchcraft, the protector of witches, the crossroads, the torchbearer helping us along by illuminating the paths in our lives.
00:17:41
Speaker
But Hecate's name has often been misrepresented in the media to evoke darkness and danger. This distortion illustrates just how powerfully names can be weaponized or misunderstood.
00:17:54
Speaker
And then additionally, in some Asian traditions and cultures, names also carry significant spiritual weight. And in many cultures in Southeast Asia, names associated with malevolent spirits are often avoided in conversation altogether.
00:18:08
Speaker
Speaking these names is believed to risk invoking their power or attracting misfortune, highlighting the deep cultural belief that names are more than just symbolic, they are energetic forces. And then and some certain magical traditions in past, initiates are given or they're allowed to choose a name upon entry into that tradition.
00:18:29
Speaker
This magical name is shared within the coven or the circle and may be kept private or sacred. And it can be chosen through meditation, divination, or gifted by a mentor. And this process is personal, marking a shift from the mundane to the magical self.
00:18:46
Speaker
And we'll get into reasons why... um why practitioners might want to choose a magical name later, but in regards to specific traditions who choose that, using a magical name allows us to embody our higher spiritual purpose and it can reflect our aspirations, embody our strengths, or honor lessons that we've learned.
00:19:06
Speaker
And saying this name, especially in ritual with a coven or a group of Magical practitioners can instantly switch our mindset from mundane to magical from the everyday to the sacred much like lighting incense or stepping into a sacred space can.
00:19:23
Speaker
Names also create spiritual links as many magical names are drawn from mythology, nature, or ancient languages. grounding us in ancestral energies or elemental forces. So for example, a name inspired by a tree or a crystal or an animal can help deepen our bond with the natural world, forging spiritual alliances and enhancing our intuitive relationship with those energies.
00:19:49
Speaker
Whether in fiction, folklore, or faith, the underlying message is the same. Names hold power. They're not just sounds or symbols, but they're containers for identity, intention, and energy.
00:20:02
Speaker
To know a name is to hold a key, and in many traditions, that key can unlock great magic or offer deep protection. There are many reasons why a magical name becomes part of someone's spiritual or magical practice, and it's often much more than just a fun accessory.
00:20:20
Speaker
So we're just going to explore a few of the most common and meaningful reasons. The first being ritual readiness and symbolic alignment. For some practitioners, choosing a magical name is simply part of building their ritual identity.
00:20:35
Speaker
Just like lighting candles or placing crystals or stirring a cauldron, it adds a symbolic layer to their practice, helping them shift from the mundane world into sacred space.
00:20:48
Speaker
In this sense, the name becomes a switch, a way to step into the role of practitioner, priestess, healer, or witch. The next one is spiritual identity and protection.
00:21:01
Speaker
So using a magical name in place of one's legal or birth name, especially in magical spaces, can serve multiple purposes. It offers a layer of protection, shielding the protect... nope...
00:21:14
Speaker
Shielding the practitioner's legal identity from spiritual interference or unwanted attention, but it also allows someone to express a part of themselves that might not fit into their everyday life.
00:21:25
Speaker
This name becomes a reflection of the self that they are becoming or the self that is revealed through magical practice. Another reason is for empowerment and self-definition.
00:21:38
Speaker
a magical name can be an act of claiming power, especially for those who are reclaiming their voice, agency, or their spiritual path. It allows the practitioner to define themselves on their own terms.
00:21:52
Speaker
separate from familial, cultural, or societal expectations tied to their birth name. In this way, the name becomes a spell in itself, one that's like self-liberating.
00:22:05
Speaker
Another way we can look at this, though, is through the lens of historically rooted reasoning. So think of of reasons like mystery, traditions, and initiations. In many ancient mystery schools, such as like the Eleusinian mysteries, the Hermetic orders, initiates were often given new names upon initiation.
00:22:26
Speaker
These names marked a spiritual rebirth and were often kept secret outside of the circle um of the initiated. It was a way to signify transformation and set the initiate apart from their former identity.
00:22:41
Speaker
If we look at it through magical correspondences and intent, some magical names are chosen based on numerology, astrology, or specific correspondences. In these cases, the name isn't just poetic.
00:22:55
Speaker
It's designed to align the practitioner with certain planetary energies deities or magical intentions. So for example, someone might choose a name that numerologically vibrates with the number seven to align with things like spiritual insight, mystery, and introspection.
00:23:13
Speaker
And then the last one I'm going to mention is concealment from oppression. And this was almost a necessity in times and places where magical practitioners were punished and or persecuted, such as during the Inquisition or the witch hunts.
00:23:30
Speaker
Practitioners used magical names to conceal their true identities. This was not only a spiritual decision, but often a life-saving one. So even in more recent history, practitioners in some cultures or conservative regions still use magical names to safely engage with their craft while protecting their personal privacy.
00:23:50
Speaker
Yeah, and... I feel like too, that's really important to kind of end on with that section because especially with the time and place we find ourselves in, especially in America, it can be really scary to be out of the broom closet right now.
00:24:08
Speaker
um So yeah. um So when it comes to naming things in your magic and magical names, it doesn't just have to be ourselves that we provide a name to.
00:24:21
Speaker
Everything in your practice can be named with intention. And by naming things within our practice, such as any of the tools that you use, your altar, maybe even eliciting names from your spirit guides, naming your spells, all of this gives presence to your magic.
00:24:38
Speaker
Names add identity, meaning, and spirit to what we're working with. And especially when working with deities or other spirits, evoking them by name allows you to help build a relationship with them.
00:24:49
Speaker
i will say though, while it's good to practice pronouncing the names of the deities you're working with or wanting to work with, I fully believe that any deity that is worth their salt will understand that sometimes we can't always pronounce things exactly as they are meant to be.
00:25:04
Speaker
But taking the time to learn to pronounce her name as close as you can get is just fine. Don't let the fear of getting it wrong hold you back. The effort and sincerity you bring will matter much more than getting it exactly right. So just keep that in mind whenever you are working with deities and you're using their their names because obviously, you know as we said, names have power.
00:25:28
Speaker
And when creating spells, name them. This will seal in the intention and make your magic more alive. So now that we've you know talked about all of the information, let's talk about how to choose a magical name.

Choosing a Magical Name

00:25:43
Speaker
So we've explored why magical names matter and where their power comes from. Let's talk about how, though. How does someone go about choosing a magical name?
00:25:53
Speaker
Like most things in magical practice, there's no one-size-fits-all answer, but here's a few common approaches that practitioners take when selecting a name that truly resonates. The first one I want to discuss is the symbolic or elemental alignment.
00:26:08
Speaker
Many practitioners choose a magical name based on qualities, symbols, or elements that they feel drawn to. So for example, someone who works closely with lunar energy might choose a name that references the moon, tides, or intuition.
00:26:23
Speaker
Others might feel connected to an animal, a plant, or a mythological figure and incorporate that into their names. The idea is that the name reflects your magical strengths, goals, or the energy that you most want to embody.
00:26:37
Speaker
Next is through divination or spiritual guidance. Some practitioners receive their magical names through some form of divination like tarot, pendulum work, meditation, or even dreams.
00:26:50
Speaker
Others may receive insight during a ritual through communion with their deities, their guides, or their ancestors. In these cases, the name often quote-unquote comes to them rather than being actively chosen, and it carries a deeper sense of like destiny or spiritual calling.
00:27:09
Speaker
And the last one that I'm going to mention is through numerology or astrological correspondences. This method involves calculating a name that matches a specific number or planetary influence using numerology.
00:27:24
Speaker
Practitioners may also choose names that align with their sun, moon, or rising sign qualities. um For example, someone with a strong Venus energy might select a name associated with beauty, love, or harmony.
00:27:36
Speaker
And this approach ensures that the name not only sounds magical, but it also vibrates energetically in harmony with their intentions. I love those techniques too, because it really leans into the magic and like spiritual connection.
00:27:52
Speaker
um All of the ones that I was researching are a little bit less, I guess, spiritually inclined. so obviously one of the first steps that you should take regardless is to, of course, do your research, right? so look at names from maybe different cultures and mythologies, sit with different sounds or elements and see if anything speaks to you specifically.
00:28:18
Speaker
And some additional like ideas that I came across that I thought were interesting were to look up the meanings of names in baby books or online and make a list of names that best represent your spiritual goals based on that.
00:28:32
Speaker
And then to also consider names of trees, flowers, animals, stones, whatever that you find interesting, or maybe that you're drawn to and review their magical energies and feel which one resonates with you.
00:28:46
Speaker
If you practice with deities, This could be an interesting way to go about it. Looking up names that were popular from the culture and time from when that deity was widely worshipped. So like maybe even looking up um what names were common during ancient Roman or Greek time periods when the goddess, maybe Athena, was widely worshipped and celebrated.
00:29:09
Speaker
And then also getting in touch with your inner child. um When you were little, this could be even something as simple as looking... ah thinking back to, you know, was there any particular names that you felt really drawn to?

um Was there a nickname or a name that you gave yourself that you loved and that you wanted to be called, but that you never really told anybody else about? That could also give you insight into what your magical name could be. And it could tie back to some inner child healing, which could be a really good thing for some of you.
00:29:42
Speaker
And then obviously we need to talk about ethical and practical considerations. so we need to be able to respect cultural boundaries when we're doing this.
00:29:54
Speaker
When choosing a magical name, it's important to avoid names from closed practices, sacred languages, or deities that you don't actively work with, especially if they come from cultures that you're not part of.
00:30:07
Speaker
Appropriation can happen easily when names are taken without understanding their context or significance. Know when to share and when not to. ah Magical names often carry energetic or spiritual weight, so it's worth thinking about how and when you share yours. Some practitioners keep their name private um except in ritual or with entrusted circles while others use it publicly. Neither is wrong but be intentional about your boundaries and your protection.
00:30:40
Speaker
and also be honest with yourself about why you chose it Choosing a magical name should reflect your personal journey, your values and practice, not just something that sounds cool or trendy.
00:30:54
Speaker
So ask yourself, does this name resonate with who I am becoming? Is it rooted in growth, authenticity or ego? Yeah. And that reminds me too, I was reading this article. I can't remember who it was by, but I believe that I linked them in the show notes for another topic.
00:31:13
Speaker
um But they had mentioned that... you don't be that person that chooses the name like Moonbeam Fairy Sunshine or something like this. But I want to embody the Moonbeam Fairy Sunshine, okay?
00:31:30
Speaker
Right? Yeah. And that made me chuckle because I'm just like, you know what? Yeah. Because there's so many people that just think, oh, well, this sounds ethereal, so I'm just going to go with that. like sounds magical. It sounds witchy. Yeah. Yeah.
00:31:46
Speaker
And it's just like, well, but does that really even sit with you? And is that something that you can grow with? Like, probably not. So lastly, I just wanted to include a little...
00:31:57
Speaker
spell that i came across um from the witch's lore. and And it's a naming spell ritual. I mean, obviously you could do whatever kind of spell you want. You can create your own in this, um but this can be just something to get you started or this could be inspiration.
00:32:14
Speaker
So the ritual itself is linked in our show notes, but this ritual can work with any sort of name energy you want to work with. So if you're wanting to name yourself um reclaim your own name that you were born with, or even naming other things that are important, like your altar, your sacred space, or like um any sacred tools that you use. It can be used for any any of those and you just change what doesn't apply to what does apply for you. So in this spell, um you'll need a candle. A white candle is preferred
00:32:50
Speaker
and a small piece of paper, a pen or pencil or something to write with, a bowl of water, and something sacred to you. This could be a charm, a feather, a crystal, whatever, but just something that you want to keep close to you for a few days after this ritual.
00:33:05
Speaker
So you'll first light the candle and then take a few deep breaths to ground yourself. From there, you'll write your name on the paper and then speak it out loud three times. Then you'll hold the sacred item in your hand and say,
00:33:19
Speaker
This is the name of insert name here, whether that be your name or whatever name you're trying to imbue into any tools that you're using. This is the sound of power. This is the shape of truth.
00:33:33
Speaker
Then you'll dip the paper that you wrote that name onto in the water and say, by the water and word, this name is blessed. It is seen. it is known. Then you'll want to let the candle burn for a while and keep the sacred item that you chose next to you for a few days to carry the energy of the name.
00:33:52
Speaker
I love that. Isn't that cute? I love that. Yeah, it's a very simple little spell that you regardless of what you have available to you. As long as you have a candle and a piece of paper and access to water, can do this spell.
00:34:08
Speaker
Sometimes the simplest spells are the best ones. like It doesn't have to be this crazy elaborate over-the-top ritual. And if you have the time and capacity for that, then, you know, do your thing. i know I don't.
00:34:27
Speaker
Right. I have to keep things quick, easy, simple, because I have 900 things going on in my life. So seeing like something this easy, this simple, anyone can do this. Love it.
00:34:40

Chef's kiss.
