Listener Feedback

00:00:47
Speaker
Side note, I don't know how often you look at our social media, but someone said that they've been listening to the podcast and that we're doing a good job. I love that. was like, please.
00:01:00
Speaker
Thank you. really need that. Because sometimes it's hard, like especially if we don't hear a lot from the listeners. and then yeah So to have that, thank you. that on Instagram?
00:01:13
Speaker
I looked at it because I have the business suite. like with my business I so it popped up on business suite I don't remember let me look oh that's so sweet yeah was like oh it's on yeah it's on Instagram on one of the tarot Tuesdays they said I've been listening to your podcast for a while now and I love it you girls are doing an amazing job oh my god thank you so much Julia we really appreciate it
00:01:45
Speaker
And I'm going to cry about it. I'm just kidding. Sam's talking about everything, so it's okay. but Yeah.

Bookstore Discoveries

00:01:53
Speaker
This isn't even like that big video, but I was at the BX the other day. And I'm still, I'm a little bit irritated about this because I'm just like, you've got to be kidding me.
00:02:05
Speaker
I'm at the BX, right? And I'm like looking. I always check the books and just see. We have like a literally a bookshelf. Like that is it of books.
00:02:16
Speaker
It's not big. And so usually I order off Amazon. Tell me why they had the familiar there. Yeah. Okay.
00:02:26
Speaker
Cool. um What are you doing here? And then a few books down. You know what they had? Blood on her tongue. The one that you just ordered?
00:02:39
Speaker
Have you started it? Is it good? I have started it. um It is good. um Had to put it down because there's just too many other things to read, but it is really good. and And I'm just like, you got to be fucking kidding me.
00:02:52
Speaker
So whenever I make a point of like ordering something, yeah best believe they're going to fucking have it at the BX. But if I don't order it, and it's like, this is such an obscure book too. Like yeah out of all of the books, you have like five copies of this one.
00:03:10
Speaker
Okay. I found books at the Ramstein VX. This whole time I've been like, they don't even have them. And someone was like, no, they do. it's hidden. Yeah. And it's tiny.
00:03:23
Speaker
And they told me where it was. And so I went over there and it literally is so you know, RBX is kind of like a mall and the far side, which is where there are like, like your regular makeup, not your like designer or like name brand type stuff.
00:03:42
Speaker
Well, I mean, it's name brand, but you know what i mean? Like right or elf or all like all of that is in this section. Yeah. And then like the pet supply, like that section of the BX, Past the registers, like it's past where the registers are.
00:03:57
Speaker
There is a small section on a back wall that has books. Oh, yeah. Like every Colleen Hoover book is on there, of course. Of course.
00:04:09
Speaker
And it's like, who the fuck is ordering this? No one. um You know, like the bookstore, we were getting Colleen Hoover in and every time it was like on a wait list or like if it wasn't on a wait list, we'd put it on the shelf and it would go back out within an hour. Someone would buy it.
00:04:24
Speaker
We can't sell them to save our lives right now. Good. We have like three copies of all of her fucking popular books and they're just sitting Yeah. That makes me laugh because she is the worst. And I'm so fucking thankful that people are realizing that she is a problem.
00:04:43
Speaker
Yes. and it's like And nobody realized she was a problem until all this Blake Lively bullshit happened. And it's like, did you not read any of her books though? They're not well-women.
00:04:56
Speaker
Yeah. And they're very problematic, but okay. Yeah. Yeah. It's in the, so I didn't realize too, I guess they have, um so we have another BX that's a bit smaller on Camp Foster and they have books there as well, but it's in the outdoor like gardening section BX.
00:05:16
Speaker
so And I'm like, what? What the heck? There's like a little section of toys and then there's like outdoor stuff and there's like a ton, like an end cap of books. And I'm just like,
00:05:30
Speaker
Okay. um Interesting. Like it's like right by the spray paint. I'm just like, what the fuck? So. um very odd place. I mean, like also so snow is past where even the registers are in the VX. Like who is going to go to this weird, like obscure corner who and be like, I think books would be over here. no one.
00:05:51
Speaker
No one. I've been here for a year and didn't realize we even had books in the VX. Like we've talked about it before where I'm like, they don't even sell books at ours. Right.

'Butcher and Blackbird' Series

00:06:02
Speaker
They've been there the whole damn time. Just think of all of the things.
00:06:06
Speaker
All of the Colleen Hoover books missed. I was to all the Coho and John Gershom books that are over there. Oh, my God. Yeah. And Bibles. Yeah, and Bibles. Okay. Yeah. But I'm just out those for a year, which- okay They did. So a couple of weeks ago, they had the third installment of the Butcher and Blackbird. oh yeah. And so I picked that up. So I have the whole trilogy.
00:06:33
Speaker
ah have not read them all. So eventually will get into it. Butcher and Blackbird is the best one of the three. They're all good. i just really liked the story of those two.
00:06:45
Speaker
The second one, i liked the characters, but I wasn't as, like, connected to them. And then in the third one, I really liked the girl. Oh, so they're, like, three different couples, kind of? Yeah. So it's ah three brothers. Yeah.
00:06:57
Speaker
Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah. so the first one is um the first brother and his like love of his life. And then the second one is her best friend and his brother.
00:07:12
Speaker
then the third one is the third brother and this girl who at first they were all like, who the hell is she? And then you get this backstory and it's hilarious. Okay. I actually really liked the girl in the third one.
00:07:24
Speaker
yeah yeah Eventually I will read them. i you know You already know me. I'm not a huge fan of like contemporary books. But I try. These are dark.
00:07:37
Speaker
yeah These are like dark romance. but I started reading the first one. yeah um But yeah, i didn't get too far.
00:07:49
Speaker
But I knew it was like I knew what the premise was. Yeah. They're pretty spicy. I will say like book two, there's an and epilogue on book two that is just fucking wild.
00:08:04
Speaker
Like it came on and I was like getting ready and like the book finishes. I'm like straightening my hair. Anthony's sitting in here in the office and like the bathroom is just like right out here. So he could hear the book or whatever. And this epilogue comes on and he walked in and was like, what the fuck are you listening to?
00:08:23
Speaker
The second butcher on Blackbird, it's the epilogue. yeah yeah Or like a bonus chapter. He was like, that was fucking wild. Yeah. Yeah.
00:08:34
Speaker
I was like, even I was a little like, whoa, yeah what are we doing?
00:08:42
Speaker
That's funny. Well, now I'm going have to definitely read it. Yeah, yeah. So adding it to the ever-growing list of all of the things that I really need to fucking read. I think all of my TBR is going to like crush me in my sleep and I will just die from all the books that I never got to read. Yeah. Yeah.
00:09:00
Speaker
but none I feel you. We're not talking about our hate of coho, our love of books, and whatever else we've talked about in this like 20 minutes. Yeah, and we are definitely not. We're definitely not doing that.
00:09:16
Speaker
What are talking about

Solar Eclipses in Witchcraft

00:09:17
Speaker
today? We're talking about solar eclipses and magic. This one was a lot easier to research than I thought it was going to be. Yeah. Yeah. i thought it was going to take me a lot longer to do this research. And I was like, oh, okay.
00:09:32
Speaker
Yeah. It's pretty easily explained and spelled out and yeah it very interesting too. So for sure. So just to kick us off, I'm going to give a little bit of background.
00:09:43
Speaker
um So solar eclipses happen when the moon moves between the sun and the earth, casting a shadow that blocks the sun's light. Since the moon's orbit is slightly tilted compared to the earth's, eclipses only happen during special times that are called eclipse seasons.
00:10:00
Speaker
And that's not as like magical as it sounds. It's literally just any time these three planets line up. And it happens about every six months. So twice a year. And each season lasts about 35 thirty five days It's also worth noting that there are four different types of solar eclipses too.
00:10:18
Speaker
So the first is the total solar eclipse, and this happens when the moon passes directly between the sun and the earth, completely blocking out the sun's face. The next is the annular solar eclipse, and this occurs when the moon is farther from the earth during its path between the sun and the earth.
00:10:34
Speaker
And because it's farther away, it appears smaller, so it doesn't actually cover the sun completely. It creates a bright ring of light around the moon. The next is the partial solar eclipse.
00:10:47
Speaker
In this case, the sun, moon, and earth aren't perfectly aligned. So only part of the sun is covered, leaving a crescent shaped slice visible. And the last one is the hybrid solar eclipse.
00:11:01
Speaker
This happens thanks to the earth's curved surface. So some places will see a total eclipse while others will see an annular one. So it makes it a rare hybrid eclipse.
00:11:13
Speaker
Throughout history, eclipses have been seen as powerful, sometimes ominous events. In many cultures, solar eclipses were believed to mark a time when the natural order was disrupted and thus a time of great transformation or spiritual significance.
00:11:30
Speaker
In witchcraft, eclipses are often viewed as moments of immense potential. And this is like where the veil between worlds is thinned and magic is amplified.
00:11:41
Speaker
This makes eclipses not only a time of releasing, but also for powerful creation and manifestation. As most of us probably know, in witchcraft, the sun and moon are deeply symbolic.
00:11:54
Speaker
The sun represents strength, vitality, and masculine energy, while the moon embodies intuition, emotions, and feminine energy. The solar eclipse is where these two forces align, and it creates a potent space for shadow work, for healing, and balance.
00:12:11
Speaker
It's a rare moment to harmonize these energies, making it a powerful time for us to reflect on and transform the personal energy. Yeah, so going a little bit back to history and looking at historically in different cultures how solar eclipses were celebrated, because there wasn't really a scientific explanation about what the darkening of the sun or moon meant during an eclipse, which as you can imagine was probably pretty shocking to our ancestors.
00:12:39
Speaker
Oh, terrifying. Yeah, I would be like, well, I guess we're all going to die now. This is the end of the world. Yeah. So to try and assign a meaning to an eclipse, different explanations were given.
00:12:50
Speaker
And they've been seen as disruptions of natural order and sometimes bad omens. And so if you are interested in learning more about a a lot of what I'm going to talk about um in just a few seconds, um in our show notes, there is a article that talks more about different cultures. I only picked three because I didn't want to just keep going on and on and on about the way you know different cultures historically...
00:13:14
Speaker
gave meaning to a solar eclipse So, for instance, in China, it was commonly believed that the solar eclipse occurred when a celestial dragon attacked and devoured the sun.
00:13:26
Speaker
And to frighten away the dragon and save the sun, people would bang drums or make other loud noises during an eclipse. And also think important to note that ancient Chinese eclipse records are some of the oldest in the world as well. So they date back more than like 4,000 years, which is super interesting.
00:13:44
Speaker
And in ancient India, there is an ancient Hindu mythology that describes a solar eclipse. The legend talks of a demon named Rahu Mawai. who wanted to drink the nectar of the gods to become immortal.
00:13:56
Speaker
Rahu dressed as a woman and tried to attend a banquet of the gods where he was discovered by Vishnu. He was punished by beheading, and it's said that his decapitated head flying across the sky is what we see when the sun darkens during an eclipse.
00:14:12
Speaker
There goes Rahu's head again. In some of the legends, it says that Rahu was able to drink some of the nectar before he was caught. However, the nectar didn't flow through his entire body before decapitation.
00:14:26
Speaker
So like while his head is immortal, um the rest of his body wasn't. And as his head is flying across the sky, he tries to eat the sun, but he can't swallow it because he doesn't have a throat.
00:14:41
Speaker
So it just comes back out. It just comes back out the other end. It comes out neck wound. Yeah. Yeah. It's so gross.
00:14:52
Speaker
And then um also, so and the Inca people of South America worshipped a deity called Inti, who was a powerful sun god. And the Incan people believed that while Inti was a benevolent god, solar eclipses were signs of his wrath and his displeasure.
00:15:10
Speaker
And after solar eclipses, spiritual leaders would try to figure out why he was angry to determine which offerings should be offered. And there's a big misconception when we think about the Incan people. We think that human sacrifices happened a lot, but actually they were rarely practiced.
00:15:27
Speaker
And if they were going to happen, they were most likely done following a solar eclipse if the situation was serious enough to warrant it. And then lastly, I have a little bit about medieval Europe. So scholars during the medieval period understood a lot about astrology that we often don't give them credit for. it They knew that the moon was either new or full and that when the moon crossed paths with the sun, this would form an eclipse.
00:15:51
Speaker
However, most medieval scholars believe that the sun and the moon orbited earth along with the other five known planets at this time, Venus, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.
00:16:02
Speaker
And medieval Europeans saw alignments as planets, like conjunctions as signs of things to come. So whether that be a famine or a flood or earthquakes, collapses of empires, or even the birth of Jesus Christ, they also believe that solar eclipses could amplify planetary conjunctions.
00:16:21
Speaker
Which is pretty interesting because when you think about medieval Europe and the fact that like they didn't even wash their hands, the fact that they could come up with um some of this stuff and really understand it and understand the math behind it is intriguing.
00:16:35
Speaker
Yeah. And witchcraft. And witchcraft, yeah. Yeah.

Eclipses in Magic and Astrology

00:16:40
Speaker
So looking at solar eclipses in magical and spiritual traditions, solar eclipses are viewed as times of change, transformation, and renewal, as Tiffany mentioned.
00:16:50
Speaker
And some traditions see solar eclipses as portals and liminal moments. Solar eclipses are often viewed as in-between times or moments outside of normal time and space. In this, the sun represents the consciousness and vitality, and it's temporarily overshadowed, allowing the hidden unconscious and unknown to rise to the surface.
00:17:12
Speaker
We've discussed liminal spaces before on the podcast back in episode 76, just as a little reminder. um But as a quick summary, liminal spaces are powerful because they are transitional.
00:17:23
Speaker
And some of the examples we discussed in episode 76 are things like crossroads, twilight, and thresholds. And we can also think of solar eclipses as like the cosmic version of those things.
00:17:35
Speaker
And this can be a time where your spells are either more powerful or maybe even more unpredictable because the normal rules are suspended during liminal moments. And so looking at some of the major energetic shifts, eclipses throughout history, as we've discussed, are linked with sudden change, unexpected revelations, new beginnings, or endings, because there is a disruption in the natural flow of the sun.
00:18:01
Speaker
In many traditions, the sun is a life force, and when it's blocked, there is a symbolic rest or like a power outage in the natural world. And this translates to times where the energy can feel wild, raw, or electric.
00:18:14
Speaker
And this reminds me of that solar eclipse that we had 2017. So if you were in the United States during that time, that total solar eclipse that we had that was visible from like, especially the Midwest and Southern Illinois, we got like what, like 99% total coverage or some shit. those cool little glasses. Yeah.
00:18:36
Speaker
Yes. And I just remember like standing outside when that that eclipse happened because I'd never really experienced that before, but you could feel the energy. You could feel it and it was intense. It was crazy. Yeah.
00:18:50
Speaker
And so like it's it like ah unless you've experienced it, it's probably hard to even describe, but you can feel it. The animals can feel it. Insects can feel it. It is just wild.
00:19:03
Speaker
Yeah. And if you are a Chaos Magic practitioner, which we're going to be talking about Chaos Magic next week, so Just a little teaser for you. Tune Right. This might be a perfect time for you to practice because the energy feels unstable, giving you the opportunity to shake free from old patterns.
00:19:23
Speaker
And so when we look at some amplification and disruption, eclipses are known to amplify whatever is already present, whether that be emotionally, magically, or energetically.
00:19:34
Speaker
And there are some traditions that firmly believe that during an eclipse, it is not safe it is not a safe time to manifest because you may inadvertently amplify chaos, fear, or some other unintended consequence, but those are just some beliefs, right? So because of this, some traditions recommend banishing work or protection magic during eclipses using the covering of the sun as a symbolic cloak for removing obstacles or people from your life.
00:20:00
Speaker
But it really just depends on what you believe. And, you know, we'll discuss that a bit later. I also wanted to briefly talk about solar eclipses and astrology because ah solar eclipse always happens during a new moon. And as we've discussed many times on this podcast and in our monthly newsletters, new moons are great times to set intentions.
00:20:22
Speaker
And eclipse new moons are more intense. I mentioned earlier that the energy during a solar eclipse can be chaotic and volatile. So during a solar eclipse, it's a good idea to watch what is revealed during this time.
00:20:34
Speaker
as opposed to setting new intentions, unless that's something that you're absolutely sure you want to do. You can also look at solar eclipses with your zodiac signs. So depending on the zodiac sign an eclipse occurs under, it can alter the energy for the collective.
00:20:49
Speaker
And so outside of looking at your own zodiac sign, look at when the eclipse is going to happen as well. So like for fire signs, Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius, if an eclipse happens during that time, you might see themes of action, courage, ego, and creativity.
00:21:04
Speaker
For say if a solar eclipse occurs during an earth sign, so Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn, you might see themes of material life, stability, health, and career. if a solar eclipse occurs during an air sign, so Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius, you might see themes of communication, relationships, and intellectual growth.
00:21:24
Speaker
And then if a solar eclipse occurs during a water sign, so Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces, you might see themes of emotion, family, intuition, and healing.
00:21:36
Speaker
And lastly, when it comes to astrology, I wanted to briefly discuss solar eclipses and the nodes of fate. Eclipses always occur near the lunar nodes. So these are the points where the moon's orbit crosses the sun's path.
00:21:50
Speaker
The North Node in astrology is where we are meant to grow towards, so our destiny or like unfamiliar territory. And the South Node in astrology is where we are meant to release or obtain balance in our life, so think karma or past life baggage.
00:22:05
Speaker
With that in mind, it can be helpful to pull up your birth chart on or near a solar eclipse and see where an eclipse is occurring in relation to your own birth chart. So you'll want to know where the eclipse is happening, what sign and degree the solar eclipse is happening in, and what house that falls into in your birth chart.
00:22:23
Speaker
You'll also want to see what zodiac sign your personal north node is and what your personal south node are in. This is important because if an eclipse is happening close to your natal nodes, it can be an extra powerful eclipse for you personally.
00:22:36
Speaker
So if you have a solar eclipse near a natal north node, this can mean big new beginnings aligned with your soul's growth or opportunities you must say yes to, even if they scare you.
00:22:47
Speaker
And it can also bring up feelings of being called forward to unfamiliar territory, which can be uncomfortable depending on the situation. And if a solar eclipse occurs near a natal south node,
00:22:59
Speaker
This could indicate karmic clearing, whether this be of relationships, jobs, or even beliefs that you've had. It could also indicate feeling pulled back into old habits or patterns and needing to choose release over repetition, or could offer a chance to break karmic cycles consciously.
00:23:19
Speaker
So moving into like the magical ties of solar eclipses that like Sam was saying, there's a lot of beliefs surrounding it. There is a common misconception that working magic during an eclipse brings bad luck or that the eclipse is actually a sign of a bad omen or an ominous warning.
00:23:38
Speaker
But this really couldn't be farther from the truth. In reality, solar eclipses are a time of immense power um They're capable of amplifying our magic in ways that can transform our intentions.
00:23:51
Speaker
A solar eclipse is one of the most powerful celestial events. It's a perfect alignment of the sun and moon symbolizing a sacred union and for witches it's a rare and potent moment to tap into powerful energies.
00:24:04
Speaker
and help transform intentions into reality. Solar eclipses are often considered a liminal or threshold moment, a space where the boundaries between light and darkness blur.
00:24:17
Speaker
And in witchcraft, liminal spaces are powerful because they exist outside of regular time and reality. During an eclipse, this liminal energy... offers a unique opportunity for personal transformation, allowing witches to step into the state of spiritual limbo and make deep changes to their inner selves, free from the constraints of normal time and expectations.
00:24:41
Speaker
So if we look at a few correspondences, colors are going to be black, gold, silver, and white. um Plants and herbs are going to be mugwort, sunflowers, lavender, and chamomile.
00:24:53
Speaker
Crystals are obsidian, moonstone, and citrine. The deities are going to be sun gods like Apollo, Ra, or Helios, and then moon goddesses like Selene, Artemis, or Hecate.
00:25:06
Speaker
And the elements are going to be fire and water In witchcraft, the sun is associated with manifestation, creation, and personal power, while eclipses are seen as moments that intensify these energies.
00:25:20
Speaker
So a solar eclipse is particularly potent for focusing on new beginnings, whether it's launching a new magical practice, planting seeds of intention, or initiating personal growth.
00:25:31
Speaker
The eclipse acts as a magnifying lens, making it a powerful time to manifest desires or set intentions that will take root in the months ahead. Duality and transformation are also like a major theme for the solar eclipse.
00:25:46
Speaker
So a solar eclipse is a rare weaving of opposites where light surrenders to shadow And day fades into night. In this fleeting crossing, the veil thins and the forces of transformation awaken.
00:26:00
Speaker
So for witches, it's a sacred summons, a time to walk the edge of what was and what will be. to call balance from chaos, and to shape the new realities with an intention.
00:26:11
Speaker
Nope. Shape new realities with intention. So looking at the energies and workings for solar eclipses, these should be things like new beginnings. A solar eclipse unfolds under the new moon.
00:26:25
Speaker
So this is a time when the darkness cradles new beginnings. Traditionally, it's a moment to plant seeds, to set intentions, and And to like really make our dreams a reality under the eclipses shadowed power, which is can ignite personal transformation or step boldly into new magical paths.
00:26:45
Speaker
um This is also a great time for release and renewal. As the sun and moon slip into alignment, we are called to align ourselves, shedding old habits, past highs, and worn-out patterns that no longer serve our path.
00:26:58
Speaker
The eclipse's shadow is a sacred cleansing. It's a descent into darkness that clears away for rebirth, renewal, and deeper growth. um And then shadow work is also ah something that you should be doing during an eclipse.
00:27:14
Speaker
Eclipses pull the hidden into the light, unveiling what's been buried in the shadow. And this is the perfect moment for deep self-reflection to really confront truths,

that like we've long avoided. and in the eclipses darkness, shadow work becomes a powerful tool, allowing you to face to your fears, resolve any inner turmoil and heal what's been suppressed.
00:27:39
Speaker
And then just some magical workings for a solar eclipse.

Magical Practices for Eclipses

00:27:43
Speaker
These came from a witchy blog that I came across called the blessings butterfly, which I was like, that sounds really cute.
00:27:51
Speaker
But um she says that you should do an eclipse meditation. And she says, for this one, you find a quiet sanctuary, whether outdoors or in your sacred space.
00:28:05
Speaker
As the eclipse begins, ground yourself and breathe deeply, connecting with the rhythm of your breath. Visualize the moon's shadow sweeping across the sun, carrying away any negativity, doubts, or blockages that have held you back.
00:28:18
Speaker
And as the sun reemerges, um that you should feel a surge of renewed strength, clarity, and light to like feel your being. She also suggested sun and moon candle spells. and the one that she gives an example of is um where you'll need two candles, a black one for the moon and a gold or a white one for the sun.
00:28:41
Speaker
And as the eclipse begins, light the black candle symbolizing the shadow now cast over your life. Meditate on what you wish to release, letting the darkness carry it away. And when the sun starts to return, you light the gold or white candle, focusing on what you wish to invite into your life.
00:28:58
Speaker
Allow both candles to burn out completely, marking the completion of the eclipses cycle. um And just a note, because you guys know we say all the time, like, use what you have. The colors of the candle are less important than your intention.
00:29:12
Speaker
Just use whatever you have. Your magic is the focus and it's not like the specific hue or the color of the candle. Just you don't have to go out and buy a bunch of shit to do these kinds of things.
00:29:24
Speaker
um And then another one she gives is to create an eclipse talisman. So um you could do this with stones like obsidian for shadow work, citrine for solar work.
00:29:36
Speaker
During the eclipse, hold the stone in your hand, charging them with your intention, speak your desire into the stones, imbuing them with that power. And this talisman will serve as a personal tool for protection, transformation, or empowerment Carrying the energy until the next celestial event, which that one I love because you could use literally anything that you have. You don't have to go out and buy anything. can use something you find out in the yard even. And you're literally just putting that energy into it to carry with you.
00:30:05
Speaker
And moon water, you know, we all love a good moon water, but if you create it during the solar eclipse, it will capture the immense power that the eclipse radiates. And this charged water can be used in future spells, allowing you to harness the eclipse's energy and amplify your magical workings.
00:30:24
Speaker
You can also do this with any of like your witchy oils, whether they're used for anointing candles or in herbalism. And then the last one is crystal charging. So like while you're at it, you know, toss some crystals out there to charge as well under the solar eclipses, powerful energy, let them soak in the intensity, amplifying their abilities for your future magical work.
00:30:47
Speaker
Yeah.

Upcoming Solar Eclipses

00:30:48
Speaker
And so, you know, we talking about a lot about solar eclipses and what to do whenever there's solar eclipse and what not to do. What about when some solar eclipses are happening, right? When are they?
00:31:01
Speaker
When are they? So as of recording this in well, April of 2025, but it will not be released until like May 2025 sometime. Yeah.
00:31:12
Speaker
We just had a solar eclipse in March, on March 29th to be exact. And it was a partial solar eclipse that was seen in Europe, North Asia, Northwest Africa, much of North America, and in the Atlantic Ocean, as well as Antarctica.
00:31:26
Speaker
The next solar eclipse will be occurring on September 21st. So mark your calendars because this is another partial eclipse, and it will be seen in South Australia, parts of the Pacific Ocean, and the very South Atlantic Ocean, and also Antarctica again.
00:31:42
Speaker
So the penguins will have a show. Antarctica gives all the blessings. Right. they They really do, right? Wait, penguins are in Antarctica and not the North Pole, right? Or isn't like it's like one of the other.
00:31:54
Speaker
I can't remember. That's a question. Listeners, if you know, I know they're like either not in the North Pole or they're not in the South Pole. I think they're not in the North Pole, but they're in the South Pole. I'm not sure.
00:32:05
Speaker
so Who knows? Who knows? Google. Yeah. Google, help please. Yeah. They primarily live in the Southern Hemisphere from the Antarctic continent to the tropical islands in the Southern Hemisphere. There we go. So ah a show for the penguins.
00:32:25
Speaker
I knew I was like I was halfway there with that, but I wasn't sure 100% was true with that fact. The universe is blessing them with these slipses since we're now tariffing them.
00:32:37
Speaker
Right. Exactly. Yeah. We're destroying the world and we're going to make them pay. Yeah. And then the next solar eclipse will be in 2026, February 17th to be exact. And there will be an annular solar eclipse visible in South Africa, very South America, like the tip, like the like very bottom part of South America, the Pacific, the Atlantic, and the Indian Oceans, and in Antarctica again.
00:33:04
Speaker
And August 12th, 2026, there will be a total solar eclipse. So if you are in Europe with Tiffany, mark your calendars. Also, if you are in Russia, on the very North Asian side of Russia, to be exact, um much of Northwest Africa, North America, but like the Canada part of North America and the very Northern states and a lot of the Atlantic Ocean and part of the Pacific and Arctic Oceans as well, you sorry may see- I know, right? Yeah. Sorry, penguins.
00:33:36
Speaker
You may see this total solar eclipse. So perfect thats super exciting.
