um When I'm in session with clients, it often is that, and I won't go too deep, but it often is that when we're doing this work, um I'm often led to the sacral. And when I get there, man, so many women are invited to do another level or another layer of healing, clearing, rebalancing the area of the womb.

For some people, it's like, oh, they've gone through so many things that has affected the energy and the health of their womb, and they haven't dealt with it or encountered it or worked with it energetically. And so it comes up in the Reiki session. For others, they have done womb work and they may have done womb work with other practitioners. They've done womb work on their own maybe. And they're like, man, I already dealt with you know these womb issues. I already done some healing there. It's still there. And that could be sometimes because guess what? You've reached another level of yourself. You've reached another level of

It's probably time for me to work with that sacral chakra. It might be that you are feeling writer's block or you're feeling creator's block. um Maybe you're feeling stagnant or resistant or just out of balance, sexual wise.

This is probably indication that it's time to work with, do some work with your sacral chakra. So what is the sacral chakra? This is the center that sits below your belly button in the lower abdomen area, right? And this chakra has a front and back.

and so There's the the front area that's really in that lower abdomen in the front, and then obviously the back chakra is in your lower back. and and They carry different energy and they're it's connected to some different ways in which we get to move in the world. So we've already talked about some ways in which you know that the sacral chakra is asking for some more attention or some more grace or um some more care, right? And how that looks is rebalancing, activating, re-energizing and healing. And I'm going to talk about some things that you can practically do um to give some love and care to your sacral chakra.

um So here are some not so talked about ways that you can engage with your own energy and maximize it for your positioning and your prosperity. um And the first one I absolutely love, super, super, super juicy.

We're going to talk about archetyping. So yeah, in Reiki and deeper energy work, there are several archetypes that we get to work with. um And maybe different paradigms might present different ones to you. But the one that I'm intrigued with is the emperor slash empress versus the martyr. And what we're talking about is is when your sacral chakra is healthy and it's vibrant and it's open and it's and it's balanced, then we're moving in the energy more of the empress. Let me talk to my ladies. And um if you're a male emperor, right?
The Empress vs. Martyrdom: Sovereignty and Power

And when it's not, and we're moving from a place of um not our healthiest or not our best selves emotionally, energetically, then we can be moving from a space of martyrism, right? Martyr, meaning I die for the cause. I sacrifice myself for the cause. And yes,

especially as women, you have been ingrained, projected, indoctrinated with, right defined as the martyr. You must sacrifice yourself, your joy, your pleasure, you know your your desires, your your life dreams. You must sacrifice that all all the time, that all costs for your husband, for your children. You know you must you must sacrifice for your relationships for your religion, you must sacrifice, sacrifice, sacrifice. You must be the martyr, you must die for the cause. And when we're moving in that energy,

it affects us and it affects us negatively. And I'm just going to say that I usually don't use positive and negative. I usually use to the right and to the left, but I'm going to use it here. It does affect you negatively. And when we stay in that energy of martyrism, then your sacral chakra will begin to close down, close down, close down. It will begin to spin counterclockwise and it will get to the place where we'll start just shutting down. And I have seen that several times, and this is not a terrible place to be, but it definitely is not the desirable place to be.

You will feel it when your sacral chakra is shut down. You will know. You may not know because you may not know the energy work, but you will experience it either physically, emotionally, energetically, or with your money, right? Because if your sacral chakra is shutting down,

We want to move from the martyrism energy and we want to move into the Empress. Let me talk to my ladies.

So what is the definition of an empress, right? So I think it's the Oxford dictionary or American dictionary, I don't know, that I opened up on my computer. It says, the empress, a woman who is sovereign ruler of great power and rank, especially one ruling an empire.

Your energy body is your empire. And I and i really wanna drive this home because your energy body is sacred.

in and of itself is neutral, right? We can speak of the sun and what it radiates in terms of energy. We can speak of the heat that you feel in terms of energy. Well now, now science has gotten to the place where we can speak of the cells in your body in terms of energy.

outside of any spiritual talk at all. So if you, in fact, you, in fact, are energy, then it behooves us then to start learning more about the energy of our body. And what I'm saying to you in terms of the sacral chakra is that your empire, Empress, your empire, Emperor, is in fact your energy body.

I often, ah especially if I'm like to go and work with the sacral chakra, I will often go and work with the solar plexus first, right? Because the solar plexus is the seat of I am, right? It is the core, right? Of where your your sovereignty is and your I am power, right? And your e It's where your seat of authority is. And so I will work with that first and and open that and and help it be balanced first so that we can we can radiate that energy into your sacral chakra. This is important. And it's important to redo. And it's important to revisit. And it's important to practice. And it's important to practice being in that energy. Because that is, in fact, and organically who you are.

And oftentimes our sacral is out of whack because we're not sitting in our seat of authority. We're not moving from the place of our spiritual and our energetic authority. So when we talk about boundary setting and honoring our purpose and honoring our time, we're talking about moving from a place where you're in your empress energy and not your martyr energy. So you get to experiment um and you get to step into your empress energy and know what feels good to you and what actually helps you. right um Color psychologist Angela Wright states that bright orange hues stimulate while low saturation is more soothing.

What does your body need? What does your energy body need? What's your sacral chakra calling for?
