Speaker: And I really want you to hear that very clearly. If you experience self-doubt here and there, it means that you absolutely are aware enough to know that you're going for a bigger reach. You're going for bigger impact. You're going to make the bigger steps for, um for what it is that you feel called to do or what you feel is your purpose or your mission or your goal right now. So,

Speaker: you are capable and you have achieved and you have succeeded and you have met goals. You have exceeded goals, right? So you know that what I'm saying is true. Self-doubt is not about your capability.

Speaker: It is about you questioning your capability. Welcome to Freed and Powered Up. Here is where conscious female leaders who are taking their exit from the overly dominant male patriarchal energy, however you experienced it, can really start to break free from the energy that keeps us back from being who we came here to be and leaving the legacy we came here to leave.

Speaker: the fear, the triggers, the self-sabotage, and limiting behaviors and beliefs without all of it. Every episode, I'm going to connect you to your inner power and awaken the divine feminine within you. I'm your host and your sister, Latoya Zavala.

Speaker: Let's go.

Speaker: So here's the truth. And we're talking about self-doubt. I know if you're watching this, that that you are of a different breed. You are willing to be... um in your power, you're willing to move to the next level, you're willing to elevate, you're willing to take your next big steps, right? You are of a different breed. But for a lot, even for you and for a lot of other people, even if they're not of this kind of breed, it's hard to admit that we have self-doubt, right? If you're watching this and you're like, Yes, Latoya, that's true. It's hard to admit that we doubt ourselves. And a lot of that is because we've been carrying this identity, this projection, this um definition of ourselves that we we can never let them see us sweat. We can never let them see us cry. We can never let them see us ah feeling vulnerable, right? We have to always wear that hard mask, not just the mask, but that hard mask at all times, every time.

Speaker: Right? So it's hard to admit that sometimes we have self-doubt. um And let me just say this right now. I just want to infuse this power for you right now. Okay? Self-doubt is not about being capable. Let me say that again.

Speaker: Self-doubt is not about being capable. It's about questioning whether you are capable or not, even when you are the most capable, even when you are the most qualified. Right. I was watching the podcast, um I think, with Michelle Obama the other day, and she herself was talking about how sometimes you that self-doubt sneaks in. She's one of the most capable women that I know of.

Speaker: Right. So. it's Self-doubt is not about you being capable. And I really want you to hear that very clearly. If you experience self-doubt here and there, it means that you absolutely are aware enough to know that you're going for a bigger reach. You're going for bigger impact. You're going to make the bigger steps for um for what it is that you feel called to do or what you feel is your purpose or your mission or your goal right now. So

Speaker: you are capable and you have achieved and you have succeeded and you have met goals. You have exceeded goals, right? So you know that what I'm saying is true. Self-doubt is not about your capability.

Speaker: It is about you questioning your capability. And so you already know, it's my premise, that you did not come here with that. You did not come here with the habit, right, of questioning your capability and your abilities. You did not come to this earth. You were not born with the pattern of questioning whether you are capable Right. Or whether you have the abilities or whether you are enough, you didn't come here with that. So that act of questioning yourself was given to you. That pattern was given to you. That belief.

Speaker: And it is a belief system. That belief. that maybe you aren't, and so you've got to question yourself, that has to be a part of your human experience that was given to you. And let me just say this, when we fall into that pattern, when we move into the pattern of questioning ourselves, then we deplete our own capability. Why? Because your energy is divided. You've probably heard it said before, right? And I'm quoting, you probably heard for Facebook, You probably heard it said before, where your attention goes, your energy flows, right?

Speaker: Where your attention goes, your energy flows. And so if you are giving attention, if you are giving energy to questioning your ah capabilities, then you are pulling energy from the actual efficiency, the reach, the impact of the capability, right? You're dividing your energy. So the act of questioning yourself, right, which is moving in the feeling of self-doubt, because you can feel self-doubt and not act on it. But if you feel the self-doubt and then you start acting on it by actually questioning yourself, then you're depleting

Speaker: the energy, the impact, the reach, the efficacy of your actual capabilities. So now imagine how, look look how powerful you are. Look how capable you are. Look how successful you have been. Look how many achievements you've accomplished. And just imagine how much more, how much bigger, how much greater when we actually do the work and eliminate that pattern of questioning our capabilities, right? And so I wanna say this, because self-doubt isn't sexy, right? It's not sexy, it's not a good look, it's not really socially acceptable, the words, right?

Speaker: then it masks itself. It masks itself and it hides under more socially pleasing, more socially acceptable phrases, really for nuances of the same thing, right? So we've taken to self-sabotage, right? That's kind of more socially acceptable. So we can We can see more articles. We can read more books. We can go to more lives. We can go to more programs on self-sabotage because that's ah a fancier, it's a more sophisticated way of saying it, right? Perfectionism, because wow, doesn't isn't perfect a positive connotation, right? So it's easier to say I struggle with perfectionism, right? Procrastination is it's it's ah it's what we call

Speaker: bonding in the struggle, right? I procrastinate, you procrastinate, we all procrastinate, we procrastinated in high school, we procrastinated in college, right? We all do it. So it's like a, it's a social bonding, right? So that's easier to say we struggle with that than self-doubt, right? Or um jealousy or unhealthy competition, right? Because competition in this overly male energy domination,

Speaker: It's easier to say, you know, we we struggle with competition or we're we're super competitive, right? But when you're all when you're in the energy of overly competitiveness, right?

Speaker: Right. There's probably ah an element, a seed of self-doubt there. When we're not engaging on social media because of the competition monster, right, where you compare yourself and in that competition, you always are kind of feeling like you fall short, that's self-doubt.

Speaker: Right. this superiority complex, which a lot of us here, I know because the people that I deal with and connect with, most of us don't have it. But when you see it out there, it's because there's ah a nucleus of self-doubt there. And I doubt myself if I place myself above others and make others in my mind inferior to me, then I can mask and cover that I actually doubt myself.

Speaker: right? Overdoing things. o This is a big one, especially for type A overachievers, right? We overdo things. You know, work finishes at six, you're there till 9 p.m., right? Some y'all till midnight, right? um They ask for five pages, you don'trit you wrote seven and a half pages, right? We overdo things. They ask for two sentences of an explanation and we're already on two paragraphs, right? We overdo things to overcompensate for the fear of not enoughness, right? Which is self-doubt.

Speaker: And then codependency, y'all. You probably didn't think of this one, but codependency has a nugget in it of self-doubt. I must and have to depend on somebody else for for gratification, for pleasure, for happiness, for peace, for feeling complete,

Speaker: for um being able to do things around the house, right? And then that, so I latch myself on because I doubt myself, right? And these are just some of the ways that self-doubt manifests itself in our lives. and And sometimes they're easier to say and they're easier to ask for help for than just saying, I doubt myself.

Speaker: And i'm andm um I'm exposing them so that we know this is the energy behind it that we really need to get to if we want to clear that out of our system.

Speaker: Okay, so there are all kinds of systems of self-doubt. And as we talked about on my Lives of Imposter Syndrome, and if you missed those, they're super powerful, so you've got to scroll down to my feed and watch the Imposter Syndrome Lives.

Speaker: But as you've watched there, I've said several times, we didn't come here with that. Right. We did not come here with the pattern and with the habit and with the belief that we have to question ourselves, that we have to doubt ourselves.

Speaker: We that's not who we are. We didn't come here with that. Right. It's not yours inherently. So there's no need to manage them. Right? If I came here with thin, scraggly hair, then I could say, OK, how do I manage this? Because this is the package that I came with, right?

Speaker: If I came here you know with one leg shorter than the other, then I could say, okay, how do I manage this? Because this is the package that I came with. But self-doubt, imposter syndrome is not the package that you came with. So we don't have to manage that. We get to detach it from ourselves and get rid of that shit.

Speaker: We get to do that. There's no need to stuff them down in your pocket, right? Which is what a lot of us, particularly women, have been doing. We took this self-doubt.

Speaker: We condensed it down and then we put it in our pocket because it's embarrassing to have, we feel. And then we move forward. We succeed. We achieve, right? We overachieve. We survive with it. And the reason why I'm saying survive is because it's still there and it's still eating away at your true self, right? Your true happiness, your true freedom, right? So it's like...

Speaker: It's like having a piece of candy stuffed down in your pocket and you left it there for months and months, maybe years. Right. That happened to me the other day. I put on this jacket. It was packed away for the winter. And when I tried to put my hand in the pocket, there was candy there that had been there for God knows how I've moved across the country. So Lord knows how long that candy has been there. Right. But what happens? It gets gummy. It gets sticky. You can't use your jacket to the fullest. It starts to eat away at the material of the jacket. Right. And I'm just talking just this example superficially. But listen.

Speaker: This is what happens to us spiritually, emotionally, energetically. We leave that self-doubt packaged nice and neatly and stuffed away in our pocket and it's gumming up our freedom, our our our self-expression, our um showing up fully 120%.

Speaker: ah hundred and twenty percent It's gumming up the way we show up in our relationships. It's gumming up the way that we show up for the next step, which is what I'm really truly concerned with, your next big step.

Speaker: it's It's gumming up the way that we feel about ourselves, which affects every other thing in our lives. And it's eating away at the fabric, at the very fabric of your potential and and of the power of who you are.

Speaker: So now,

Speaker: why are you stuffing it down and why are you carrying it around? Right? There's four common reasons, four major reasons. I'm going to list them here, right? One of them is because you haven't found someone that you trust. You trust enough to be vulnerable enough to open up and then release it.

Speaker: Right? That's one. two You don't even know that you can release it, right? Like you felt like we have to carry this around. Whoever, maybe you feel that you're the only one or very few of you and whoever has self-doubt or post-a-syndrome, we just have to stuff it in the pocket and we have to carry it around because that's our lot in life, right? You just feel like there's You don't even know that there's tools to help you actually release it and get rid of that and live to your fullest, right? Another reason is maybe someone you hasn't decided to live fully yet.

Speaker: You haven't fully decided to fully live, right? To live from your highest self and in your highest potential, right? And then the last one is wait one sec, goddess, before we finish this delicious podcast episode. Let's chat.

Speaker: I know you, you've been doing a lot because you know you're here to have hella impact. So you've been doing the therapy, the YouTube manifesting practices, the business coaches, the mindset coaches and books and podcasts.

Speaker: And there's a spot that all that stuff is just not hitting. It's not getting to the knowing and the being in your power, in your own authority over your time, your body, your emotions, and your money. Knowing without a doubt your purpose and when you're acting in it.

Speaker: knowing without a doubt how to be infinite potentiality and manifest all the damn wealth and peace and love that you're worthy of. I know you and I have the perfect experiences for you.

Speaker: and then the last one is some people actually believe that this is just the way it is, right? They are in the belief system. that that's who they are, that that is part of their identity. They have self-doubt. That's just the way it is, right?

Speaker: So I want to talk to the first two. The the last two, ah that's not my specialty. I don't work with that. If you haven't fully decided to live, it's not that you have to know the how.

Speaker: I got the how, but if you haven't decided fully for yourself, if you have not like made the decision, I want to get rid of this feeling, this heavy energy, I don't want this in my life anymore. If you haven't fully decided,

Speaker: that you can live fully, that you can open, that you can be the fullest expression of yourself, the highest expression of yourself, and be like just free and open and moving forward in your inner power. Like if you haven't fully decided that yet, then continue to watch my lives, come to my tapping sessions, right? Until you get to that decision. And then yes, I can work with that, right? If you have decided, no, actually, this is my lot.

Speaker: This is my lot in life. This is who I am. We just all have to deal with this. Then power to you, love and light to you. And um hey, no foul, no harm. I, you know, that's you. Do you, do you, boo.

Speaker: But I don't work with that. Who I do work with is um the first two group of people. if you you know If you haven't found someone that you can trust yet, right?

Speaker: Stick with me for a little bit. i'm I'm inviting you to come in and just get to know me. um I've held... For 10 years in the Navy, I've held the highest confidentiality in the land. um I've been through extensive trauma myself. My purpose, my purpose, I know, my dharma, the reason why I'm here is to help you be free. Like that has been confirmed for me throughout my life since I was five years old.

Speaker: right? This is what I do. And so I'm inviting you ah to come in to get me to know me. And if we're aligned, then let's do this work so that you can release what you need to release and be the fullest and highest expression of yourself. Just DM me. You can DM me. um and And let's get this rolling for you, right?

Speaker: And then the second group, um maybe you just didn't know that there were tools. I use energy work tools, right? um i I have done coaching. I do coaching. Coaching is powerful. But together with energy movement, shifting the energy, clearing the negative and toxic and non-serving energy, rebalancing and activating your energy centers. And what I have found my specialty now is integration, right? Because you know already. Right. A lot of you, you know so much.

Speaker: And now it's time for you to integrate, right? Like it's time to stop the note taking. You've done the note taking. You got all the notes. You got, look, you're like me. You got all the notebooks and it's time to integrate.

Speaker: It's time to become. It's time to to reveal, right? Reveal and unveil. And you know that, right?

Speaker: You know that. That's who i'm I'm here to work with. Let's go. Let's get this party started. Let me teach you the energy working tools. Let me teach you the sequences. Let me teach you the personalized practices that that have worked for me, that work for my clients, and that are going to work for you.

Speaker: We'll have the call. We'll tweak them. We'll personalize them. And you will walk away with what's going to work for you.

Speaker: My message, you can be free. So be free. Okay, y'all. I love you all. You know that I do. I'm sending you so much love and power.

Speaker: Send it to somebody that you know needs to hear this word, this message today. i love you and I'll see you all next time.
