This week on the Everything Actioncast, Zach and Chris celebrate the 35th anniversary of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret of the Ooze, right after hosting a panel at PAX East on the history of TMNT games.
Released a year after the first live-action TMNT, The Secret of the Ooze finds Shredder back for revenge and acquiring the same green ooze that transformed the Turtles and Splinter, which he uses to create his own mutant warriors, Tokka and Rahzar. With the help of TGRI scientist Dr. Perry (David Warner), April O'Neil (Paige Turco), and martial arts pizza boy Keno (Ernie Reyes Jr.), the Turtles have to jump back into action and save the city again. Zach and Chris discuss when exactly this takes place after the first movie, the more kid-friendly tone, the Foot Clan letting things play out, the Ninja Rap, and more.
